00:00:54 --> 00:00:58
			Over the last few weeks we've been covering

00:01:00 --> 00:01:09
			as part of our study of the spirit of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. We've been covering
the response of Quraysh

00:01:12 --> 00:01:15
			their response to the dour of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:01:17 --> 00:01:18
			and their opposition

00:01:19 --> 00:01:27
			and the various methods that they used to oppose the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and the
spread of Islam.

00:01:29 --> 00:01:30
			So far,

00:01:32 --> 00:01:33
			we have looked at

00:01:35 --> 00:01:40
			some of their tactics like putting pressure on his uncle Abu Talib,

00:01:42 --> 00:01:42
			also

00:01:44 --> 00:01:45
			name calling,

00:01:47 --> 00:01:48
			falsely accusing him

00:01:51 --> 00:01:52
			character assassination.

00:01:53 --> 00:01:54
			We also looked at

00:01:56 --> 00:02:02
			mockery and ridicule making fun of the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam, as well as

00:02:03 --> 00:02:04
			his followers.

00:02:06 --> 00:02:07
			And

00:02:08 --> 00:02:11
			also looking at how they would disrupt

00:02:12 --> 00:02:16
			the Quran from being recited,

00:02:17 --> 00:02:18
			causing commotion

00:02:19 --> 00:02:21
			and disturbance.

00:02:22 --> 00:02:24
			Today, we move on to

00:02:25 --> 00:02:29
			another two tactics that were used by Quraysh.

00:02:32 --> 00:02:33
			And

00:02:35 --> 00:02:43
			they are both very important tactics to cover and methods that they use that we should cover. And
there are many lessons that we can learn

00:02:45 --> 00:02:50
			for us even today, as Muslims from these two tactics.

00:02:53 --> 00:02:54
			And so the first is

00:02:56 --> 00:02:58
			what we can refer to as

00:03:00 --> 00:03:01
			ideological warfare,

00:03:03 --> 00:03:05
			or a version of victory.

00:03:08 --> 00:03:10
			And so in every era,

00:03:11 --> 00:03:13
			whether it be in the past or the present,

00:03:14 --> 00:03:17
			the battle between truth and falsehood,

00:03:19 --> 00:03:21
			oh always includes

00:03:22 --> 00:03:23
			the battle of ideas.

00:03:26 --> 00:03:34
			Where the enemies of Islam will do everything they can to try to disprove the truth of Islam,

00:03:36 --> 00:03:39
			even though they know that it is a truth from Allah.

00:03:43 --> 00:03:45
			But in order to stop its spread,

00:03:47 --> 00:03:50
			and in order to cause doubts in the minds of the believers

00:03:54 --> 00:03:56
			they use this tactic

00:03:57 --> 00:03:58
			to spread doubts about Islam

00:04:00 --> 00:04:01
			and lives

00:04:02 --> 00:04:05
			in order to win the hearts and the minds.

00:04:07 --> 00:04:10
			And so in order to do this, they would give rise to Shewhart

00:04:12 --> 00:04:16
			to doubts, misconceptions, to confuse the people

00:04:17 --> 00:04:21
			and make them hesitant in accepting the truth.

00:04:22 --> 00:04:24
			And so they did it in the past.

00:04:25 --> 00:04:27
			And they continue to do it in the present.

00:04:28 --> 00:04:29
			And so today

00:04:31 --> 00:04:46
			they spread false information about Islam, saying that Islam is an oppressive unjust religion for
example, or that it is a backward barbaric religion or that it approach it opposes

00:04:47 --> 00:04:49
			progression and advancement

00:04:51 --> 00:04:52
			and so on and so forth.

00:04:55 --> 00:04:59
			So what were the Schuble had that Quraysh decided to spread

00:05:03 --> 00:05:05
			So the answer to that is in the Quran itself.

00:05:07 --> 00:05:15
			The answer to that is in the Quran itself. The Quran has documented each and every single one of
their claims about Islam

00:05:16 --> 00:05:17
			and refuted them.

00:05:21 --> 00:05:24
			So for example, Allah subhanho wa Taala says about them

00:05:27 --> 00:05:30
			in Surah truth in Surah Furqan

00:05:31 --> 00:05:40
			we're calling Lena Cafaro in her Illa if Cunniff Tara who, what I don't know who he called when

00:05:42 --> 00:05:48
			Allah says the disbelievers say that this Quran is nothing but a fabrication.

00:05:49 --> 00:05:55
			It's nothing but a lie, which he has made up meaning. Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:05:56 --> 00:05:57
			He's made it up.

00:05:58 --> 00:06:01
			How will I know who Allah you Coleman.

00:06:03 --> 00:06:05
			He's made it up with the help of others.

00:06:06 --> 00:06:11
			Because they knew very well that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did not know how to read or
write.

00:06:13 --> 00:06:15
			So how can they say that he made it up?

00:06:17 --> 00:06:21
			They said he had other sources he had people who helped them

00:06:23 --> 00:06:42
			for Khadija woman was wrong. Allah says their claim is totally unjustified, and untrue. And then in
the next area, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, we'll call SLP rule welline activa. For here to MLA li
book return whilst

00:06:43 --> 00:06:46
			again the same thing, they say

00:06:47 --> 00:06:49
			these revelations

00:06:50 --> 00:06:54
			are only the tales of the ancient South little earlier.

00:06:56 --> 00:07:01
			These are only fables ancient stories,

00:07:02 --> 00:07:13
			which he has had to be written down again. They knew that he did not know how to read or write. So
they said it was written down for him.

00:07:15 --> 00:07:29
			For he had to Mala ebook written Wartsila. And so they are rehearsed for him. He doesn't know how to
write. So they are dictated to him. They are read to him rehearse to him, morning, and evening.

00:07:32 --> 00:07:34
			And so this was one of their main

00:07:36 --> 00:07:40
			doubts that they would spread lies that they would spread

00:07:41 --> 00:07:42
			about dakara

00:07:43 --> 00:07:46
			that this is not from Allah subhana Wuhan to add

00:07:47 --> 00:07:52
			the stories that are all in the Quran, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:07:54 --> 00:07:59
			He didn't know about this, but it's not Allah who is telling him about it, but rather,

00:08:00 --> 00:08:05
			he gathered this information from people. And he is now reciting it to you.

00:08:08 --> 00:08:12
			Another example is in the beginning of Surah Tchad.

00:08:16 --> 00:08:20
			Allah subhanho wa Taala says about the the kuffaar of Quraysh

00:08:22 --> 00:08:25
			Well, Ijebu and jell O moon zero minimum,

00:08:26 --> 00:08:30
			we'll call it the curfew rule. And that's if you don't get up

00:08:31 --> 00:08:38
			and they wonder that there has come to them a warner from among themselves, they wander in
amazement.

00:08:39 --> 00:08:43
			And the disbelievers say This is a magician and a liar.

00:08:46 --> 00:08:49
			Jawaharlal Hatter Isla Wahida.

00:08:50 --> 00:08:52
			In hatherleigh, Shana Raja,

00:08:53 --> 00:09:00
			has he reduced all of the gods that we know has He reduced them all? into one God?

00:09:01 --> 00:09:03
			They found this to be strange.

00:09:05 --> 00:09:07
			We know Gods to be many.

00:09:10 --> 00:09:12
			How has he made all of these gods to become one God?

00:09:14 --> 00:09:16
			Indeed, this is something totally

00:09:18 --> 00:09:20
			strange, astonishing

00:09:21 --> 00:09:27
			$1 columella woman whom an issue was Biru Allah Alia de caminhada. Lucia, you endured

00:09:28 --> 00:09:44
			the Chiefs among them, Allah is describing Quraysh the Chiefs among them went forward saying, carry
on and stand firm in devotion to your gods. Certainly, this is just a scheme.

00:09:45 --> 00:09:49
			So what are what are the leaders of Quraysh telling you there are people

00:09:50 --> 00:09:54
			continue in your idol worship, don't pay attention to this man.

00:09:56 --> 00:10:00
			Continue and stand firm upon your religion and your

00:10:00 --> 00:10:14
			devotion to your gods. Certainly this is just a scheme. It's a plot devised by Muhammad salallahu
Alaihe Salam in order for him to gain power and influence. That's all he's trying to do.

00:10:16 --> 00:10:17
			You know, just like Phil

00:10:18 --> 00:10:19
			said to his people

00:10:21 --> 00:10:22
			about Musa Allah has set out

00:10:28 --> 00:10:34
			that this is a man who wants to change your religion. He wants power.

00:10:35 --> 00:10:36
			That's all he's after.

00:10:37 --> 00:10:40
			In the a half who and you bet de la Dena Co.

00:10:41 --> 00:10:50
			Oh, and you'll hear of a lot of the facade, I'm afraid. Look, look at the concern that Iran was
showing. You know, I'm afraid for you guys.

00:10:51 --> 00:10:59
			He has come to change your religion. I'm afraid he's going to change your religion, or that he's
going to cause chaos on Earth.

00:11:00 --> 00:11:07
			And then Allah subhanho wa Taala says mass I mean, I know have you heard of the little alpha in her
lucky luck.

00:11:08 --> 00:11:16
			The the kuffaar of crochet. We have never heard of this in the previous religion, meaning the
religion of our forefathers.

00:11:17 --> 00:11:25
			This is nothing but a fabrication in harder luck, the luck. This is nothing but a fabrication. He
has made her all up

00:11:26 --> 00:11:35
			on Zillow, it hit the Chromium the Nina has the vicar, the reminder meaning the Quran has been
revealed only to him out of all of us.

00:11:38 --> 00:11:41
			Bill Humphrey, Shakyamuni indicati dilemna Dooku.

00:11:42 --> 00:11:44
			In fact, they are only in don't

00:11:45 --> 00:12:01
			have my revealed reminder, in fact, they do so because they have not tasted my punishment. So this
is what Allah subhanahu Uttara says about them. So this was their ideological warfare,

00:12:02 --> 00:12:03
			spreading doubts about Islam,

00:12:05 --> 00:12:09
			with their focus on discrediting what the Quran

00:12:10 --> 00:12:15
			and claiming that its source was from other than Allah subhanho wa taala.

00:12:17 --> 00:12:18
			Now,

00:12:19 --> 00:12:21
			there was an individual

00:12:23 --> 00:12:24
			among the leaders of Quraysh.

00:12:27 --> 00:12:30
			His name was another eternal Harris.

00:12:33 --> 00:12:34
			And so

00:12:36 --> 00:12:38
			He once went out to Persia,

00:12:39 --> 00:12:40
			on a mission,

00:12:41 --> 00:12:42
			his mission was

00:12:44 --> 00:12:49
			to go to the civilization, which is an ancient civilization,

00:12:50 --> 00:12:54
			and learn stories and ancient legends.

00:12:58 --> 00:12:58
			And then come back.

00:13:00 --> 00:13:00
			And

00:13:03 --> 00:13:07
			basically, tell the people these legends and these stories.

00:13:09 --> 00:13:11
			So he worked to Persia, he learned

00:13:13 --> 00:13:17
			the ancient legends of the people of Persia. And then he came back to Mecca.

00:13:18 --> 00:13:24
			And he started telling the people come to me, I have better stories to tell.

00:13:26 --> 00:13:39
			Because according to him, and according to what I wish, the Quran was nothing but ancient legends,
like those of the Persians and the Romans, and other ancient civilizations.

00:13:42 --> 00:13:48
			And so, according to them, these are simply stories and legends that have been passed down
generations.

00:13:49 --> 00:13:55
			If Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam is doing that, then why can't we counter it? And why can't we
do the same?

00:13:56 --> 00:13:59
			And so it's narrated that another would

00:14:01 --> 00:14:03
			follow the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:14:06 --> 00:14:11
			So whenever the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would go to a group of people, and give them
Dawa.

00:14:12 --> 00:14:26
			Another would go to the same audience. And he would say to them, Mohamed does not have better tales
to tell than myself. And then he would, you know, start telling them

00:14:27 --> 00:14:40
			the tales and the legends that he learned from the people of Persia, then at the end, after he's
done, he would ask them, How is it that Mohammed is better at storytelling than me?

00:14:42 --> 00:14:46
			So basically, he was trying to get approval from the people.

00:14:49 --> 00:14:51
			Even Abdallah, sort of the Allahumma

00:14:53 --> 00:14:54
			he narrates that

00:14:56 --> 00:14:59
			another use to hire young girls who would

00:15:00 --> 00:15:00
			To

00:15:02 --> 00:15:02
			sing.

00:15:04 --> 00:15:08
			And so whenever he would hear of someone

00:15:09 --> 00:15:21
			being attracted to the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam. being attracted to Islam, he would send
one of these girls to entertain that person and sing for him

00:15:22 --> 00:15:24
			to ward him away from Islam.

00:15:25 --> 00:15:41
			And it was in this regard that Allah subhanahu Attallah revealed. In surah Lachman, Wamena, Nassim
in your study, lehle Hadith de Lille, the Lancer de la he be what you really mean when you're
talking to her who's

00:15:42 --> 00:15:50
			that among people are those who purchase level headed, which is idle talk.

00:15:56 --> 00:15:59
			And that includes singing and whatnot.

00:16:01 --> 00:16:20
			So Allah says, among people are those who purchase idle talk, only to lead others away from the path
of Allah without knowledge, and to make a mockery of it. And so even Amber says, this area was
revealed in regards to another YBNL hurry.

00:16:22 --> 00:16:23
			And so from this,

00:16:25 --> 00:16:29
			we have proof of what have something else

00:16:31 --> 00:16:35
			unrelated to what we're talking about here, and that is that music is haram in Islam.

00:16:38 --> 00:16:47
			That music and singing is haram in Islam and it is, it comes under level headed, idle talk.

00:16:48 --> 00:16:53
			And its purpose is always to ward people away from the path of Allah

00:16:55 --> 00:16:56
			and take them down the path of shaitan.

00:16:59 --> 00:17:05
			Now when Quraishi failed in their attempts to discredit Islam on their own,

00:17:07 --> 00:17:11
			please said this Quran is not from Allah.

00:17:12 --> 00:17:15
			These are nothing but tales of the ancient

00:17:19 --> 00:17:19
			and other

00:17:21 --> 00:17:29
			other doubts that they tried to spread toward people away from Islam when they failed in this
attempt of theirs,

00:17:30 --> 00:17:34
			and they saw that it wasn't really having the effect that they wanted.

00:17:35 --> 00:17:42
			People are still embracing Islam. The Muslims are still firm upon their Deen. Their Eman is not
shaking.

00:17:44 --> 00:17:50
			So what did they resort to? They went to outside of Macau for help.

00:17:52 --> 00:17:57
			Again, we're talking about ideological warfare, to win the hearts and the minds of the people.

00:17:59 --> 00:18:00
			So where did they go to?

00:18:02 --> 00:18:04
			They went to the Jews of Medina.

00:18:05 --> 00:18:06
			They went to

00:18:07 --> 00:18:17
			the Jews of Medina. And so previously we spoke about how in Medina there were Jews who were residing
there

00:18:18 --> 00:18:21
			when we spoke about the religious situation in Arabia

00:18:24 --> 00:18:30
			so the vast majority of the Arabs were upon idol worship, but there were some Jews and these Jews
were in Medina,

00:18:31 --> 00:18:34
			even abbess or the Allahu Anhu that he narrates

00:18:35 --> 00:18:39
			that Quraysh commanded to have their men,

00:18:40 --> 00:18:44
			another YBNL Herod, who we already mentioned, the same individual

00:18:45 --> 00:18:48
			and Rockler in an Edomite.

00:18:52 --> 00:18:56
			They told these two men to go to the Jewish rabbis of Medina

00:18:59 --> 00:19:00
			with the following instructions

00:19:03 --> 00:19:05
			ask them about Mohamed

00:19:07 --> 00:19:09
			and describe him to them

00:19:10 --> 00:19:11
			and tell them what he is seeing.

00:19:13 --> 00:19:20
			Why the Jews a Medina, why the rabbi's of Medina, they said because they are the People of the Book,

00:19:21 --> 00:19:23
			meaning they have a scripture

00:19:25 --> 00:19:28
			and they have more knowledge of the prophets than we do.

00:19:31 --> 00:19:31
			So these two men

00:19:34 --> 00:19:50
			among them is another liberal Herod we already mentioned him, they set out and when they reached
Medina, they asked the Jewish rabbis about Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. They
described him to them, and they told them some of what he has been saying.

00:19:52 --> 00:19:55
			So these Jewish rabbis, they said

00:19:57 --> 00:20:00
			or rather Quraysh these two men

00:20:00 --> 00:20:03
			He said to the Jewish rabbis, you are the people of the Torah.

00:20:04 --> 00:20:09
			And we have come to you so that you can tell us about this companion of ours.

00:20:11 --> 00:20:12
			So the Rabbi's, they said,

00:20:14 --> 00:20:16
			Ask him, go back to Mecca.

00:20:18 --> 00:20:21
			And ask Him meaning ask Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:20:22 --> 00:20:27
			about three things. Give him three questions.

00:20:28 --> 00:20:33
			If he answers them, then he is a prophet who has been sent by Allah.

00:20:35 --> 00:20:40
			But if he does not, then he is saying things that are not true.

00:20:41 --> 00:20:52
			If he's able to answer these three questions, then he is a prophet sent by Allah. If he is unable to
answer these three questions, then he's a liar. He's making things up.

00:20:54 --> 00:20:57
			In which case, how you deal with him is up to you.

00:20:59 --> 00:21:01
			So what were these three questions?

00:21:02 --> 00:21:09
			The first, they said, Ask him about some young men in ancient times.

00:21:10 --> 00:21:11
			What was their story?

00:21:13 --> 00:21:18
			They had a strange and wondrous story and tell younger men.

00:21:19 --> 00:21:20
			The second question,

00:21:21 --> 00:21:27
			asked him about a man who traveled a great deal throughout the earth, from the east to the west.

00:21:28 --> 00:21:31
			What was his story?

00:21:33 --> 00:21:34
			And the third question,

00:21:36 --> 00:21:37
			asked him about the rule

00:21:39 --> 00:21:42
			about the soul about the spirit, what is it?

00:21:43 --> 00:21:46
			What is it exactly this the soul that we have? What is it?

00:21:50 --> 00:21:53
			So they said to him, they said to these two men from Quraysh

00:21:55 --> 00:21:59
			if Mohammed tells you about these things, that he is a Prophet from Allah.

00:22:00 --> 00:22:01
			So follow him.

00:22:02 --> 00:22:08
			But if he does not tell you that he is a man who is making things up, so Dr. William as you see fit.

00:22:10 --> 00:22:14
			So another and raka they return to Quraysh.

00:22:15 --> 00:22:16
			They went back to Mecca,

00:22:17 --> 00:22:19
			and they told Qureshi.

00:22:20 --> 00:22:21
			We have come to you with

00:22:22 --> 00:22:30
			a decisive solution, which will put an end to this problem between you and Mohamed. That's it. We
have we have it.

00:22:32 --> 00:22:38
			We have our planned setup. The Jewish rabbis have told us to ask him about these three things.

00:22:40 --> 00:22:45
			And they told them the story they told Quraysh about the three questions.

00:22:47 --> 00:22:52
			So then, they went to Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:22:53 --> 00:22:55
			and they asked him these three questions.

00:22:58 --> 00:23:00
			So Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told them,

00:23:02 --> 00:23:03
			she said,

00:23:05 --> 00:23:08
			I will tell you tomorrow, about what you have asked me.

00:23:10 --> 00:23:10
			And that's it.

00:23:12 --> 00:23:18
			Rasool Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said to them, I will answer you tomorrow. Come back to
me tomorrow.

00:23:19 --> 00:23:21
			Come back to me tomorrow.

00:23:25 --> 00:23:27
			But what did the Prophet salallahu Hollywood sort of forget to say?

00:23:29 --> 00:23:33
			In sha Allah, he forgot to say in sha Allah.

00:23:34 --> 00:23:36
			So they went away.

00:23:37 --> 00:23:45
			And Rasul Allah, He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Obviously, we all know that he wasn't making up
things on his own.

00:23:46 --> 00:23:50
			Whatever he was going to tell them was based on the revelation from Allah.

00:23:52 --> 00:23:55
			And so he waited, and Gibreel did not come.

00:23:57 --> 00:23:58
			The day went by.

00:23:59 --> 00:24:03
			And the next day comes, and he's waiting for Jabril. And he does occur.

00:24:05 --> 00:24:08
			And he continues to wait in this way for 15 days.

00:24:10 --> 00:24:17
			Without any revelation from Allah concerning these three questions, and without Gibreel coming to
him.

00:24:18 --> 00:24:22
			So then, the people have not courageously said, That's it, we've done it.

00:24:23 --> 00:24:30
			The rabbi has told us, if he's not able to answer these questions, then he's a liar. He's making
things up.

00:24:32 --> 00:24:36
			If he answers these three questions, then he is a prophet and you should follow him.

00:24:37 --> 00:24:39
			So they got all excited.

00:24:41 --> 00:24:45
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam himself felt very sad

00:24:47 --> 00:24:49
			about the delay of the revolution,

00:24:50 --> 00:24:52
			and about what they were saying about him.

00:24:54 --> 00:24:55
			So then, finally,

00:24:56 --> 00:24:59
			Djibouti, it comes to him, with which Dora

00:25:01 --> 00:25:02
			Surah two calf

00:25:03 --> 00:25:12
			with Surah Tolka and also Surah two is Rob. These two sources, they come together in the most
healthy and they will also reveal together

00:25:13 --> 00:25:16
			Surah TL SR and then Surah calf

00:25:17 --> 00:25:24
			and in surah took care of Allah subhanho wa Taala console's a Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
that we know you're grieving

00:25:25 --> 00:25:39
			about what they're saying about you. Don't worry about it. And also in Surah to calf Allah reminds
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to say Inshallah, we'll add the culinary shaping, in effect

00:25:41 --> 00:25:43
			Illa pillar in your sha Allah.

00:25:46 --> 00:25:52
			So in in Surah, two calf Allah subhanho wa Taala answers the first question.

00:25:55 --> 00:25:57
			They said, Ask him about the young men.

00:25:59 --> 00:26:09
			They have an amazing story. So the Jews they knew about horrible calf, the young men who went to the
cave, they had knowledge about that.

00:26:10 --> 00:26:16
			If he is really a Prophet from Allah, he'll also have knowledge about that. So Allah tells their
entire story in Sorrento.

00:26:18 --> 00:26:33
			The second question was about a man who travelled extensively on earth, from east to west, and that
was who Zulu corne and Allah tells us his story at the end of Squirtle calf.

00:26:34 --> 00:26:36
			The third question was about a rule.

00:26:39 --> 00:26:48
			And that Allah subhanahu Attallah answers in surah. Two is Rob. Where's Luna? Can you rule and they
asked you about the rule.

00:26:49 --> 00:26:58
			Golden Rule rude to me, Emery Rob be say to them, oh, Muhammad, the matter of a roof is from the
matter of my Lord.

00:27:00 --> 00:27:13
			You don't have any knowledge of it. Well, that will Tito kalila and you have only been given been
given of knowledge very little. Because the rule here is from the world of the unseen.

00:27:15 --> 00:27:21
			Our rule is not something material, it is not something we can observe in this material world.

00:27:22 --> 00:27:24
			So there is no way for us to know about it,

00:27:26 --> 00:27:28
			and how it operates, etc.

00:27:31 --> 00:27:45
			So these were the three answers. And when these three answers came to the Prophet, sallAllahu alayhi
wasallam. He was relieved, and he recited them to his people.

00:27:46 --> 00:27:53
			And thus they failed in this opportunity of theirs and this tactic and this plan that they had
devised.

00:27:55 --> 00:27:57
			Now this individual another,

00:27:58 --> 00:28:04
			had not heard it. He was eventually captured after the Battle of better.

00:28:06 --> 00:28:10
			So after the battle were better he was captured. And because of his enmity,

00:28:11 --> 00:28:21
			and because of how much harm he would do to the Muslims, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did
not spare his life, he ordered that he be beheaded. And so he was killed.

00:28:25 --> 00:28:30
			So there are many lessons that we can learn from this tactic that Quraysh had used.

00:28:32 --> 00:28:42
			The first of these lessons is that the battle between the truth and falsehood always includes
ideological warfare.

00:28:43 --> 00:28:50
			And so it is one of the most important tools in the hands of the enemies of Islam. Because with it,

00:28:51 --> 00:29:01
			they try to win the hearts and the minds of the Muslims and of the people before conquering their
lands.

00:29:04 --> 00:29:06
			And so, in the past,

00:29:07 --> 00:29:09
			in the past several 100 years when

00:29:11 --> 00:29:14
			when the Europeans colonized Muslim lands,

00:29:17 --> 00:29:22
			they had colonized and conquered our lands, but they were unable

00:29:24 --> 00:29:28
			to conquer our minds and hearts. And this pose a huge problem for them.

00:29:30 --> 00:29:34
			And that's why the Muslims resisted their colonization and their occupation.

00:29:37 --> 00:29:44
			They resisted it and continue to resist it until until they were able to become independent.

00:29:46 --> 00:29:56
			And so they realize the only way that we will put an end to Islam is if we colonize their minds.
It's not enough that we colonize their land

00:29:57 --> 00:29:59
			and their bodies but we have to do

00:30:00 --> 00:30:07
			have to win their hearts and minds. And so they do this by spreading doubts about Islam.

00:30:08 --> 00:30:14
			They did it in the past, and they do it in the present. And they'll never cease in doing that.

00:30:16 --> 00:30:20
			And this is what we refer to as the ideological warfare.

00:30:22 --> 00:30:26
			The warfare with the guns and tanks and missiles is one thing.

00:30:29 --> 00:30:39
			That is one battlefield. But another battlefield is the ideological warfare. It has always existed.
And it will always exist.

00:30:40 --> 00:30:41
			The second lesson that we learn

00:30:45 --> 00:30:51
			is that the basis of this ideological warfare that is used by the enemies of Islam is based on what

00:30:54 --> 00:30:58
			it's based on, lies, fabrications,

00:31:00 --> 00:31:01
			not hard evidence.

00:31:03 --> 00:31:07
			doats are always like that shoe boo hat.

00:31:08 --> 00:31:13
			They stand on a weak foundation. They don't stand on anything solid.

00:31:16 --> 00:31:22
			And that's why the Muslim must know how to counter these Shewhart these doubts.

00:31:23 --> 00:31:26
			We counter them with your theme with certainty.

00:31:27 --> 00:31:29
			with certainty in our hearts.

00:31:30 --> 00:31:36
			We are certain that Islam is the truth. Why? Because it stands on a solid foundation.

00:31:37 --> 00:31:40
			It stands on hard evidence.

00:31:41 --> 00:31:55
			Whereas this ideological warfare of the kuffaar it stands on fabrications and lies. They claimed
that this Qur'an is nothing but tales of the ancient

00:31:57 --> 00:32:00
			it was simply a lie.

00:32:01 --> 00:32:05
			Prove that it is tales of the ancient they won't be able to do so.

00:32:07 --> 00:32:08
			The third lesson that we learned

00:32:15 --> 00:32:25
			is that fighting back against this warfare was so important that Allah subhanho wa Taala referred to
it in the Quran as

00:32:27 --> 00:32:28
			as the greater jihad.

00:32:30 --> 00:32:41
			So Allah subhanho wa Taala commanded His Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam to fight back against
this ideological warfare. So ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada said in Surah, Al Furqan,

00:32:42 --> 00:32:52
			that same Surah, which we mentioned earlier, in which kurush is saying about the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam

00:32:54 --> 00:33:07
			that he is having verses rehearse to him. These are nothing but the tales of the ancient in that
same surah Allah subhanho wa Taala says Furla to prayer in the Kaffee Rena,

00:33:08 --> 00:33:12
			which he to whom be Jihad and kabhi Ra.

00:33:14 --> 00:33:18
			So all Muhammad do not obey the disbelievers.

00:33:19 --> 00:33:22
			duelists listen to them. don't obey them

00:33:23 --> 00:33:29
			and strive against them. jarhead whom fight jihad against them?

00:33:30 --> 00:33:31
			With what?

00:33:32 --> 00:33:34
			With weapons with swords? No.

00:33:35 --> 00:33:37
			Wha Hey, don't be here.

00:33:38 --> 00:33:43
			Fight against them with it. What is it referring to the Quran

00:33:45 --> 00:34:00
			fight back against them with it with the Quran. A great jihad. Allah refers to it as Jihad and
Kabira a great jihad. So this shows us that Allah Subhana Allah, Allah wants us

00:34:02 --> 00:34:03
			to fight back

00:34:04 --> 00:34:12
			against this ideological warfare, and how it is the greater jihad? Yes, there is the jihad on the
battlefield

00:34:13 --> 00:34:30
			with weapons, and that Jihad has its virtues that Allah has spoken about that the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam has spoken of. It is the highest peak the pinnacle of Islam. But there's also
another jihad, and that is

00:34:32 --> 00:34:35
			that is fighting back against ideas,

00:34:36 --> 00:34:37
			false ideas,

00:34:39 --> 00:34:41
			and what is a weapon that we use for that dakara.

00:34:43 --> 00:34:57
			And that brings us to the next lesson, and that is the importance of standing up to defend Islam
against this attack, especially in this day and age. So we have to equip ourselves

00:34:58 --> 00:34:59
			and our youth

00:35:00 --> 00:35:01
			The necessary weapons

00:35:03 --> 00:35:05
			for this ideological warfare,

00:35:06 --> 00:35:11
			because the enemies of Islam will not see us, they won't take any rest

00:35:13 --> 00:35:16
			in trying their best to ward away Muslims from their Deen.

00:35:19 --> 00:35:21
			And they don't only do it by enticing them

00:35:23 --> 00:35:24
			to shower

00:35:25 --> 00:35:27
			to lustful desires.

00:35:29 --> 00:35:36
			But they also do it by something more dangerous. And that is warding them away from their Deen

00:35:38 --> 00:35:41
			from the foundation of their team, and that is their Aqeedah.

00:35:43 --> 00:35:48
			And their beliefs. So they start spreading doubts Shewhart

00:35:50 --> 00:35:50
			about Islam,

00:35:52 --> 00:35:53
			that this Islam

00:35:54 --> 00:35:56
			is not a real religion.

00:35:57 --> 00:35:59
			It's not the truth from Allah subhanho wa taala.

00:36:01 --> 00:36:04
			Our way of life today is far superior, far better.

00:36:05 --> 00:36:08
			Our secular liberal way of life

00:36:09 --> 00:36:11
			is far more advanced.

00:36:12 --> 00:36:13
			And this religion is backward.

00:36:16 --> 00:36:17
			These are only a few of the many

00:36:18 --> 00:36:27
			doubts that are spreading. And so we need to know how to repel these these attacks. What are the
weapons that we use,

00:36:29 --> 00:36:30
			and this is both

00:36:31 --> 00:36:34
			Well, weapons used to attack as well as to defend ourselves.

00:36:36 --> 00:36:42
			In a real war, you use weapons to attack the enemy and also to defend yourself shields.

00:36:44 --> 00:36:46
			And in this ideological warfare,

00:36:48 --> 00:36:56
			we also have weapons to protect ourselves against this ideological warfare and as well as to refute

00:36:57 --> 00:36:59
			to go on the offensive against them.

00:37:01 --> 00:37:03
			So these when these weapons are found in Nakara,

00:37:06 --> 00:37:09
			arguments, convincing arguments,

00:37:11 --> 00:37:12
			logical arguments,

00:37:14 --> 00:37:15
			evidences,

00:37:16 --> 00:37:20
			debating with them, critiquing the views of our opponents,

00:37:22 --> 00:37:24
			exposing their falsehood,

00:37:25 --> 00:37:26
			and so on and so forth.

00:37:29 --> 00:37:31
			We move on after that to the next tactic.

00:37:34 --> 00:37:34
			And that is

00:37:36 --> 00:37:38
			bargaining and negotiating.

00:37:41 --> 00:37:46
			And so when kurage saw that most of their tactics were not working

00:37:48 --> 00:37:51
			in preventing the spread of Islam or weakening the Muslims.

00:37:53 --> 00:38:09
			They decided to try negotiating a deal with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam whereby both he
and Quraysh can compromise on some of their beliefs and their religion for the sake

00:38:11 --> 00:38:15
			of peaceful coexistence and finding a middle ground.

00:38:18 --> 00:38:25
			He said, What is this enmity that we have between between ourselves, what is this animosity, this
hostility?

00:38:27 --> 00:38:31
			Fathers are fighting sons brothers

00:38:33 --> 00:38:34
			are fighting one another.

00:38:36 --> 00:38:38
			We used to live peacefully what has happened.

00:38:40 --> 00:38:43
			So when they saw that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:38:46 --> 00:38:52
			was standing firm and was not going to budge. They said let us try to negotiate a deal.

00:38:54 --> 00:39:02
			We'll compromise on some of our beliefs and you also compromise let us look for middle ground.

00:39:04 --> 00:39:06
			And so for this task,

00:39:07 --> 00:39:12
			they sent some of their most senior figures to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:39:14 --> 00:39:17
			So they sent a password. Even Abdulmutallab

00:39:18 --> 00:39:20
			and and will lead the Bill Murray era

00:39:22 --> 00:39:23
			and it will make your behalf

00:39:24 --> 00:39:26
			and allow us even why

00:39:28 --> 00:39:33
			these individuals came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and said to him, oh Mohamed,

00:39:34 --> 00:39:35
			let us make a deal.

00:39:38 --> 00:39:40
			Let us agree

00:39:41 --> 00:39:43
			that we will worship what you worship

00:39:46 --> 00:39:48
			and you worship what we worship.

00:39:51 --> 00:39:55
			This way all of us will be able to participate in worship.

00:39:57 --> 00:40:00
			And if what you worship happens to be

00:40:00 --> 00:40:05
			We better than what we worship, then we would have gotten

00:40:06 --> 00:40:09
			some share of that good.

00:40:10 --> 00:40:17
			But if what we worship is better than what you worship, then you would have gotten some share

00:40:18 --> 00:40:20
			of the good from what we worship.

00:40:23 --> 00:40:24
			In another narration of the story,

00:40:25 --> 00:40:29
			he mentioned that they came to him sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam and offered him.

00:40:30 --> 00:40:31
			They said, Let us make a deal.

00:40:32 --> 00:40:38
			We will agree to worship Allah for one day, and you worship our gods for one day.

00:40:39 --> 00:40:44
			And solar suit Allah He sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told them that he could never agree to such a
thing.

00:40:45 --> 00:40:49
			So they came back to him some time later, and they said, we have a better offer to make.

00:40:51 --> 00:40:54
			We will worship Allah for a week.

00:40:55 --> 00:40:58
			And you only worship our gods for one day.

00:41:00 --> 00:41:02
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said no.

00:41:04 --> 00:41:09
			So they came back to him again, thinking this time we have a better offer.

00:41:11 --> 00:41:14
			They said, We will worship Allah for one month.

00:41:15 --> 00:41:18
			And you just give us one day to worship our gods.

00:41:20 --> 00:41:22
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said no.

00:41:24 --> 00:41:26
			So Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed

00:41:28 --> 00:41:31
			that verse in Surah, and column,

00:41:32 --> 00:41:34
			what do we allow to the healing for you?

00:41:36 --> 00:41:42
			They wish that you would compromise so that they also compromise.

00:41:44 --> 00:41:55
			Or Mohamed, they wish that you compromise, that you stand down on some of your beliefs, so that they
so that they also do the same.

00:41:58 --> 00:41:58
			And so

00:42:00 --> 00:42:01
			their religion is made up.

00:42:03 --> 00:42:07
			It's a made up religion. So obviously, they can compromise.

00:42:09 --> 00:42:11
			You know, they have that choice, they have that freedom.

00:42:17 --> 00:42:21
			And likewise, is every single religion out there.

00:42:22 --> 00:42:26
			The same can be said about every single religion out there in the world.

00:42:30 --> 00:42:34
			And proof of that, the proof of that is found

00:42:36 --> 00:42:40
			when these people of these other religions come to a country like Canada,

00:42:42 --> 00:42:46
			the easily compromise on the religion and their beliefs

00:42:47 --> 00:42:50
			very easily. It doesn't take them much.

00:42:54 --> 00:42:57
			They very easily blend into society.

00:42:58 --> 00:43:02
			And give up many of their beliefs and the teachings of their religions.

00:43:04 --> 00:43:15
			That in and of itself is one of the proofs that their religions are made up, they are man made
religions, whereas it is only the Muslims who you find standing for.

00:43:17 --> 00:43:18
			Standing for.

00:43:19 --> 00:43:22
			And the latest example of this can be seen in this whole

00:43:24 --> 00:43:30
			push to normalize the way of life of the LGBTQ

00:43:32 --> 00:43:36
			that they had been pushing for years to make these people

00:43:37 --> 00:43:39
			to be accepted by everyone.

00:43:41 --> 00:43:48
			And it worked with people of other religions, and even their own Christian religion.

00:43:51 --> 00:43:52
			But it failed with the Muslims.

00:43:54 --> 00:43:56
			And that's why we find this push recently.

00:43:58 --> 00:43:59
			We find this push

00:44:01 --> 00:44:03
			to focus their attention on the Muslims.

00:44:05 --> 00:44:08
			So they are running all these campaigns

00:44:10 --> 00:44:13
			to show Muslims who have chosen that lifestyle,

00:44:14 --> 00:44:17
			to say, look, there's no there's no big deal.

00:44:19 --> 00:44:23
			If we can do it, then you should be accepting of us.

00:44:24 --> 00:44:27
			So the point here is that for Quraysh

00:44:29 --> 00:44:30
			their religion was manmade.

00:44:32 --> 00:44:33
			They could compromise.

00:44:34 --> 00:44:36
			Right? They had that freedom to do so.

00:44:38 --> 00:44:41
			But for Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that was not the case.

00:44:42 --> 00:44:50
			He didn't have that choice. He did not have that freedom. Even if they had said give them one day
out of the year,

00:44:51 --> 00:44:59
			and they would worship Allah for the entire year in return for that one day. Muhammad salallahu
Alaihe Salam could not compromise

00:45:00 --> 00:45:02
			Yes. And so

00:45:03 --> 00:45:09
			after this attempt by Quraysh Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed which Surah

00:45:10 --> 00:45:12
			Surah tool cafiero.

00:45:13 --> 00:45:23
			Kalia, are you healthcare if you say, oh Mohammed. Oh you disbelievers. And notice how

00:45:24 --> 00:45:33
			Allah commands him to refer to them as what they are. They are kofod Don't use any term to describe
them. You guys are kuffaar

00:45:34 --> 00:45:49
			Don't say that will worship Allah. And we'll compromise. Even if you claim to worship Allah, you are
still a Catholic. Could you help curfew? Law or Buddha Mata Abdul? I do not worship what you
worship.

00:45:50 --> 00:45:52
			What I'm gonna have you doing?

00:45:53 --> 00:46:07
			And nor do you worship what I worship? What and it doesn't matter but I will never worship like you
worship when and to have you doing good, nor will you ever worship what I worship. Let them do.

00:46:08 --> 00:46:10
			What do you do? You have your religion

00:46:11 --> 00:46:18
			and I have my religion to you is your religion. And to me is my religion.

00:46:22 --> 00:46:29
			And so after this failed attempt by Quraysh, to negotiate with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam and bargain with him,

00:46:31 --> 00:46:32
			they sent another delegation.

00:46:34 --> 00:46:41
			This time consisting of Abdullah ibn Irby, omega L will lead in the movie era among others.

00:46:42 --> 00:46:50
			This time, the request was not to compromise on certain beliefs of yours,

00:46:51 --> 00:46:52
			but simply

00:46:54 --> 00:46:57
			to delete certain parts of the Quran.

00:46:59 --> 00:47:06
			That would enrich Quraysh like criticizing and condemning their idol worship.

00:47:08 --> 00:47:12
			They couldn't they couldn't handle that. They couldn't tolerate that.

00:47:14 --> 00:47:18
			The Quran constantly criticizes, their idol worship

00:47:19 --> 00:47:25
			criticizes their idols, what are these false gods, They can neither benefit nor harm.

00:47:28 --> 00:47:32
			So they came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam saying

00:47:35 --> 00:47:40
			all we want you to do is get rid of these, these verses condemning our gods.

00:47:42 --> 00:47:59
			And so in response to that Allah subhanho wa Taala revealed to the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam in
Surah Yunus what either to delay highly him to never you know to call and let you know now your
journal you call it TB occur and you know he had aubertin

00:48:01 --> 00:48:14
			when Our Clear and yet are recited to them, those who do not expect to meet us, they say to the
Prophet, bring us a different Koran or make some changes in it.

00:48:16 --> 00:48:39
			Bring us something else other than this, or make changes in it. Allah subhanho wa Taala orders the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Quran Mallya, Cooley and Obed de la ville Intelecom NFC in a
tiberiu Elana you have a delay in a half an hour so you to rob be Ida yo Minnawi, say to them all
Muhammad, it is not for me to change it on my own.

00:48:41 --> 00:48:42
			It's not up to me.

00:48:43 --> 00:48:45
			I'm not the author of the Quran. So how can I change it?

00:48:46 --> 00:48:54
			Say to them, oh, Muhammad, it is not up to me to change it on my own. I only follow what is revealed
to me. That's all I'm doing.

00:48:56 --> 00:49:03
			I'm simply following what is revealed to me, I fear if I were to disobey my Lord, the punishment of
a tremendous day.

00:49:05 --> 00:49:21
			And so the point is, that they tried many ways of bargaining, of negotiating with the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, to try to come to common terms, to try to put an end to this hostility

00:49:23 --> 00:49:24
			that they had created in reality

00:49:26 --> 00:49:28
			by not accepting the truth.

00:49:31 --> 00:49:37
			And so we saw how nothing worked with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, so this aggravated
them further.

00:49:38 --> 00:49:42
			But Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam his point was that he is just the messenger.

00:49:44 --> 00:49:46
			He cannot middle he cannot play around

00:49:47 --> 00:49:49
			with the revelation of a lot.

00:49:52 --> 00:49:57
			And so, among the lessons that we learn from this tactic of Quraysh

00:49:59 --> 00:49:59
			is firstly

00:50:00 --> 00:50:00
			In

00:50:02 --> 00:50:06
			what led Quraysh to resort to this tactic

00:50:07 --> 00:50:08
			was

00:50:09 --> 00:50:12
			the firm resolve of the Muslims

00:50:14 --> 00:50:17
			their strong Eman and how they were not budging

00:50:19 --> 00:50:23
			and how nothing was working to make them leave their religion

00:50:25 --> 00:50:25
			nothing

00:50:26 --> 00:50:38
			they tried everything they could and they will they tried many other tactics as we will see, as we
will see next week, they tried other more severe tactics, nothing worked.

00:50:40 --> 00:50:41
			And so now

00:50:42 --> 00:50:47
			they came to a position of weakness. Let us go to the negotiating table.

00:50:48 --> 00:50:53
			Even though they are more powerful, they have the upper hand but

00:50:54 --> 00:50:57
			they resorted to this because nothing else worked.

00:50:59 --> 00:51:04
			So this shows us the importance of keeping our Eman strong.

00:51:06 --> 00:51:07
			When we stay strong in our iman

00:51:09 --> 00:51:10
			This

00:51:12 --> 00:51:17
			causes the golfer to leave us alone to a certain extent.

00:51:19 --> 00:51:21
			They try everything but when they fail,

00:51:23 --> 00:51:26
			then they resort to a tactic like this.

00:51:28 --> 00:51:34
			The second lesson that we learn here is that there is no compromise on the fundamentals of our deen.

00:51:36 --> 00:51:40
			And so even though the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was in Mecca

00:51:42 --> 00:51:45
			in a state of weakness,

00:51:46 --> 00:51:50
			Allah did not permit him to compromise on the foundation of the day.

00:51:51 --> 00:51:55
			He was in a position of weakness. He didn't have the upper hand.

00:51:57 --> 00:51:59
			And as we will see,

00:52:00 --> 00:52:02
			the Sahaba were persecuted.

00:52:04 --> 00:52:05
			And they were tortured.

00:52:07 --> 00:52:11
			One may say Okay, let's start compromising.

00:52:12 --> 00:52:13
			Let's start

00:52:14 --> 00:52:17
			compromising on certain aspects of our religion.

00:52:18 --> 00:52:22
			They're the ones who are coming to us to negotiate Okay, let's go negotiate.

00:52:23 --> 00:52:26
			But Allah was teaching us a lesson here that No.

00:52:28 --> 00:52:31
			When it comes to certain aspects of our deen there is no compromise.

00:52:33 --> 00:52:46
			And we will learn later in this era of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam how, in other
aspects, we can come to the negotiating table, and we can compromise such as in the Treaty of who
they be.

00:52:48 --> 00:52:50
			And this was much later in Medina.

00:52:51 --> 00:52:56
			But when it comes to the foundation of our deen, we're talking about tearsheet and

00:52:57 --> 00:53:39
			we're talking about our belief in Allah. There's no compromise. There's no standing down. There is
no negotiating whatsoever. Rather, what do we see here too little cafe rune. Allah comes with strong
words, not with soft words, with strong words, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam should
recite to the disbelievers, showing them that there is no room for negotiating, considering this
matter. And this is exactly how we must be taking a clear and strong stance in standing up for the
truth. You know, why is it that we cannot compromise on something like this? Because it's the truth.

00:53:41 --> 00:53:42
			And the truth can only be one.

00:53:43 --> 00:53:46
			There is no such thing as multiple truths.

00:53:48 --> 00:53:51
			One plus one equals two and nothing else.

00:53:53 --> 00:53:58
			Can someone sit come and say that no equals three have another opinion?

00:53:59 --> 00:54:12
			No, the truth is only one. One plus one only equals two and nothing else. Likewise, there, there is
only one true God who deserves to be worshipped. And that is unlike

00:54:14 --> 00:54:20
			any other worship of anyone else or anything else is false, and it shouldn't be condemned and
shouldn't be criticized.

00:54:22 --> 00:54:24
			This is not something where there is room for negotiation.

00:54:27 --> 00:54:28
			Thirdly,

00:54:30 --> 00:54:32
			it is not sufficient.

00:54:35 --> 00:54:44
			It is not sufficient to simply affirm your belief in Allah and say I believe in Allah, but I'm not
going to condemn

00:54:46 --> 00:54:47
			idol worship.

00:54:48 --> 00:54:50
			I'm not going to criticize

00:54:52 --> 00:54:54
			gods that are worship besides Allah.

00:54:57 --> 00:54:59
			That's what sort of tool caffeine teaches us.

00:55:00 --> 00:55:14
			So sudo curfew rule is a declaration from Allah to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to
proclaim his complete disassociation from all false false gods, and that he does not worship them at
all.

00:55:16 --> 00:55:28
			Why is it that a Muslim cannot worship other gods or approve of their worship? Why? Because it
contradicts the very Toshi, that he believes in,

00:55:29 --> 00:55:32
			which forms a foundation of his Eman.

00:55:34 --> 00:55:40
			And that's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would often recite Surah Al Caffee rule along
with which other Surah

00:55:42 --> 00:55:44
			Surah to class. Why?

00:55:46 --> 00:55:50
			Because Surah total loss teaches us about to heat,

00:55:52 --> 00:55:53
			about the Oneness of Allah.

00:55:55 --> 00:56:10
			That but believing in the towhid of Allah is not sufficient. So that's why we have surah and Kathy
rune, to teach us that we have to also disassociate ourselves from Cofer and shake and the machinery
cool.

00:56:11 --> 00:56:17
			And everything that is worship besides Allah, we cannot be passive about this.

00:56:19 --> 00:56:25
			It's not something to be passive about that. It's okay what you guys worship. Go ahead, continue
worshiping that.

00:56:27 --> 00:56:28
			That what you worship know.

00:56:30 --> 00:56:32
			If it was all key, then that means you're approving of it.

00:56:35 --> 00:56:38
			So that's why Allah subhanahu ADAD revealed Surah to caffeine.

00:56:40 --> 00:56:42
			The fourth lesson that we learn

00:56:45 --> 00:56:49
			is that worship of Allah is only considered worship,

00:56:50 --> 00:56:52
			when it originates from the heart.

00:56:55 --> 00:57:05
			Meaning that when a person actually believes that Allah alone deserves to be worshipped, and no
other gods deserve to be worshipped.

00:57:07 --> 00:57:10
			So what was the offer that Qureshi made,

00:57:11 --> 00:57:12
			they said,

00:57:13 --> 00:57:19
			You worship our gods and we will worship your gods or Mohammed or your god or Muhammad.

00:57:23 --> 00:57:35
			Now let's say for argument's sake, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did that, and they
worshiped Allah for a day or a month, whatever. Is that considered a data worship?

00:57:36 --> 00:57:36
			No.

00:57:38 --> 00:57:40
			Why? Because it's only a short

00:57:42 --> 00:57:47
			worship of Allah is only considered worship when it when it comes from the heart.

00:57:48 --> 00:57:51
			And so, when Allah says,

00:57:52 --> 00:57:54
			nor do you worship that which I worship,

00:57:56 --> 00:58:01
			well, I am to now be doing. But what this means is

00:58:03 --> 00:58:04
			that all disbelievers

00:58:06 --> 00:58:12
			no matter what, as long as you remain disbelievers, you will never truly be able to worship Allah.

00:58:15 --> 00:58:17
			Even if you may outwardly show that you're worshiping Allah,

00:58:20 --> 00:58:21
			and you're making this request.

00:58:23 --> 00:58:25
			As long as you remain upon your ship,

00:58:26 --> 00:58:34
			you would not have worshipped Allah. And so based on this, if someone was to say, if a caliphate was
to say

00:58:36 --> 00:58:43
			that I would like to try it out for a day, I would like to try out, worshipping Allah as a trial.

00:58:44 --> 00:58:47
			Would it be considered very bad? No.

00:58:48 --> 00:58:53
			It would only be considered very bad when they have said the Shahada.

00:58:55 --> 00:59:00
			And the shahada is your testimony, your declaration, that Allah alone deserves to be worshipped.

00:59:01 --> 00:59:04
			And no one else deserves to be worshipped besides Allah.

00:59:06 --> 00:59:07
			And this was the whole

00:59:09 --> 00:59:10
			problem that Koresh had.

00:59:12 --> 00:59:18
			The problem that Koresh had with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the Muslims was not
that they worship Allah.

00:59:20 --> 00:59:33
			And they are worshipping Allah in their own way. That was not the problem that they had with him.
The problem that they had with him was that he was criticizing their idols

00:59:34 --> 00:59:37
			and their idol worship and their way of life.

00:59:39 --> 00:59:41
			That was the issue that you know,

00:59:42 --> 00:59:44
			they could not tolerate.

00:59:47 --> 00:59:49
			Finally, the last lesson

00:59:51 --> 00:59:58
			when Allah subhanahu wa taala said lecom Deen will come with God. What does this mean?

01:00:00 --> 01:00:04
			that you have your religion, and I have my religion.

01:00:06 --> 01:00:08
			This verse came as a final blow

01:00:09 --> 01:00:11
			to the negotiation attempts of the kuffar.

01:00:12 --> 01:00:17
			What it means is that you have your religion, which is specific to you,

01:00:18 --> 01:00:28
			and I have nothing to do with it. And I will never participate in any of the rituals of your
religion. Likewise, I have my religion,

01:00:29 --> 01:00:30
			which is specific to me,

01:00:32 --> 01:00:33
			and you have nothing to do with it.

01:00:35 --> 01:00:49
			And you can never participate in any of the aspects of my religion such as worship, as long as you
remain upon your culture and your shake. Yes. If you want to accept Islam, you're welcome.

01:00:50 --> 01:00:53
			But as long as you remain upon your culture, you will never have worshipped Allah.

01:00:55 --> 01:01:00
			So this is the meaning of lagoon Dino calm, well Yeti.

01:01:03 --> 01:01:04
			Why is it

01:01:05 --> 01:01:08
			that Allah revealed this, this particular area,

01:01:09 --> 01:01:16
			to show that to heat and shake are two opposites that can never mix.

01:01:17 --> 01:01:41
			Eman and Cooper are two opposites that can never somehow come together and mix. And so this was a
message to the co founder of Quraysh making them realize that there are attempts and negotiating
with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, on the issue of religion and on the issue of worship
of Allah was worthless.

01:01:42 --> 01:01:56
			And they will never get anywhere with such attempts. And this is how we Muslims must also be stand
up for our deen and to not compromise, to send a clear message to those

01:01:57 --> 01:02:00
			who are attempting to water down our deen

01:02:01 --> 01:02:10
			and try to convince us that Islam somehow allows us to compromise on the fundamentals of our deal.

01:02:12 --> 01:02:15
			Unfortunately, this is the reality we live in today.

01:02:16 --> 01:02:21
			And this is not something that the kuffaar are telling us.

01:02:22 --> 01:02:43
			But many so called Muslims are saying there is nothing wrong with compromising on some of the
fundamentals of r&d because of the situation we are in. Because we are in this part of the world, we
should follow their way of life. We should follow the laws of this country, and so on and so forth.

01:02:48 --> 01:03:01
			Now here, it's important to note regarding this area, the convenient community that here Allah
subhanho wa Taala was not giving the kuffar the freedom to remain upon the aquifer.

01:03:03 --> 01:03:08
			This is not a permission for a person to remain as a caffeine

01:03:10 --> 01:03:12
			as some people wrongly

01:03:13 --> 01:03:14
			use this verse for.

01:03:17 --> 01:03:20
			So there are many Muslims evil, who uses first and say, Look,

01:03:21 --> 01:03:34
			we should not criticize people of other religions and their religions. Because Allah is saying for
you is your religion, and for me is mine. Let us not interfere with their worship and their way of
life.

01:03:36 --> 01:03:39
			That doesn't only include religions,

01:03:41 --> 01:03:42
			but also

01:03:44 --> 01:03:45
			ideologies.

01:03:47 --> 01:03:59
			And so the kuffaar have replaced their religion, of Christianity, with ideologies that they have
adopted today such as secularism and liberalism.

01:04:02 --> 01:04:06
			And so there are Muslims who say we should not criticize that way of life.

01:04:07 --> 01:04:10
			Because Allah says for you is your religion and for me is mine.

01:04:11 --> 01:04:16
			And so, this verse was not revealed in this context.

01:04:18 --> 01:04:28
			Rather, Allah revealed it to send a clear message that Islam cannot mix with other religions such
that the truth becomes confused with falsehood.

01:04:31 --> 01:04:32
			Think about it.

01:04:34 --> 01:04:36
			This verse was revealed were in Mecca.

01:04:38 --> 01:04:38
			Right?

01:04:39 --> 01:04:41
			It was revealed in Mecca.

01:04:42 --> 01:04:45
			After that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam migrated to

01:04:46 --> 01:04:47
			Medina.

01:04:49 --> 01:04:58
			Then after that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam returns to Mecca, conquering Mecca right. As
we will see in the serum

01:04:59 --> 01:05:00
			what

01:05:00 --> 01:05:01
			Does he do when he conquers mica

01:05:03 --> 01:05:06
			he goes to the Kaaba and destroys the idols.

01:05:09 --> 01:05:12
			If this verse locum Dino Cambodia deed meant

01:05:14 --> 01:05:25
			that the kuffaar can remain upon their religion, for them is their religion for us is ours and the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would not have done that, after, after a concrete Mecca, he
would have said,

01:05:26 --> 01:05:33
			For you as your religion continue to worship your idols, for us is our religion, we're going to
worship Allah.

01:05:35 --> 01:05:40
			This is the clearest proof that this is not what Allah intended by this idea.

01:05:45 --> 01:05:49
			So this to this Surah Surah cafiero is a clear refutation.

01:05:51 --> 01:05:53
			of those today who are

01:05:54 --> 01:05:56
			who are calling for

01:05:57 --> 01:06:03
			what they call peaceful coexistence. There's too much animosity.

01:06:04 --> 01:06:13
			We should get rid of this enmity between us and them. It shouldn't be us in them, but rather we
should all hold hands and unite

01:06:14 --> 01:06:21
			and peacefully coexist, where we all worship together. And we forget about our differences

01:06:22 --> 01:06:30
			especially the three religions of Islam, Judaism and, and Christianity which they refer to as the
Abrahamic faiths.

01:06:31 --> 01:06:33
			As so, they say we all worship the same God.

01:06:34 --> 01:06:38
			So, let us let us peacefully coexist.

01:06:40 --> 01:06:44
			So this surah is a sufficient refutation of this idea.

01:06:46 --> 01:06:46
			And any Muslim

01:06:47 --> 01:06:55
			any Muslim who joins such calls. They need to have their Eman and their toe heed, reexamined.

01:06:57 --> 01:07:02
			That's the reality. They need to have their Eman and datafeed re examined.

01:07:05 --> 01:07:14
			And so these are the lessons that we learned from this tactic that was used by Porsche. Next week,
we'll move on to

01:07:15 --> 01:07:30
			a few more tactics in sha Allah junta and until then, Subhanak love Moby Dick, which had to learn to
steal Fuuka were to relate also, love know selamat and to be an amendment. While early he also be a
chameleon or Salam alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
