The importance of proving the existence of profit in deity creation is discussed in the segment on Allah's
theological stance and the importance of proving the existence of profit in deity creation. The speakers emphasize the need for a clear understanding of the person being considered and how they believe in the Prophet sallali alayhi wa sallam. The speakers also discuss the history of the Prophet sallali alayhi wa sallam being a liar and not being a man, as well as the importance of faith and conviction in finding a right person to be a prophet. The importance of honesty and trustworthiness in finding a right person to be a prophet is emphasized.

00:00:36 --> 00:00:38
			Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim

00:00:40 --> 00:00:42
			al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen

00:00:43 --> 00:00:47
			wa Salatu was Salam ala terminal aquilani Allah. Alcala marine.

00:00:49 --> 00:01:00
			While early he was so happy he woman da da da was telling me so Nettie Li ami de medad, Salaam
Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

00:01:04 --> 00:01:06
			Last week we

00:01:08 --> 00:01:09
			went through

00:01:10 --> 00:01:15
			more of the proofs for the existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:01:18 --> 00:01:22
			And as we mentioned, these classes are

00:01:24 --> 00:01:25
			concerning

00:01:27 --> 00:01:30
			instilling conviction in our hearts concerning Islam

00:01:31 --> 00:01:33
			and warding off doubts.

00:01:35 --> 00:01:39
			And that begins with the existence of a loss of Hannah who Allah, but it doesn't end there.

00:01:40 --> 00:01:41
			That's why

00:01:42 --> 00:01:49
			there are other things to speak about, concerning the fundamentals, the very core, the very
foundation of Islam.

00:01:52 --> 00:02:05
			And so we wrapped up our discussion concerning Allah subhanho wa Taala, and his necessary existence.
And today we move on to the next fundamental

00:02:07 --> 00:02:11
			aspect of Islam. And that is the truth

00:02:12 --> 00:02:16
			of the prophethood of Muhammad salallahu alayhi wasallam

00:02:17 --> 00:02:22
			The truth of the prophethood of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:02:24 --> 00:02:29
			Now, before we actually start concerning, what are the proofs

00:02:30 --> 00:02:39
			that prove that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was actually sent by Allah subhanho wa
Taala. Before we get into that, it's important

00:02:40 --> 00:02:42
			to keep in mind that

00:02:44 --> 00:02:49
			each man in our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and Prophethood in general

00:02:51 --> 00:02:55
			Prophethood India in general, meaning not only our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:02:56 --> 00:03:06
			but also the other prophets and messengers that Allah sent through history. Our man in Prophethood
is not based on blind faith,

00:03:07 --> 00:03:25
			nor is it based on some spiritual emotions, nor is it based on blindly following the claims of a
human being, but rather, it is something that is based upon evidence and proof

00:03:27 --> 00:03:32
			that our logical, coherent and convincing

00:03:35 --> 00:03:38
			and so before getting into the proofs

00:03:39 --> 00:03:44
			that prove prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was indeed sent by Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:03:45 --> 00:03:52
			It's important that we first establish a few key points concerning Prophethood in general,

00:03:54 --> 00:03:56
			concerning Prophethood in general,

00:03:57 --> 00:04:00
			and this is important to remember because

00:04:01 --> 00:04:05
			this is the next step after proving

00:04:07 --> 00:04:09
			the existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:04:11 --> 00:04:22
			The next step is to move on to Prophet talk to talk about Allah subhanho wa Taala sending prophets
and messengers to guide us human beings.

00:04:24 --> 00:04:31
			And so the first point concerning Prophethood is Who do we discuss this width?

00:04:33 --> 00:04:35
			discussion concerning Prophethood

00:04:36 --> 00:04:47
			and also the revelation of Allah is something that can only be be done with someone who actually
believes in Allah subhanho wa Taala or believes in Allah existence.

00:04:49 --> 00:04:56
			And so, an atheist, there is no proof there's no point in trying to prove to him

00:04:58 --> 00:04:59
			the truth of

00:05:00 --> 00:05:05
			Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam being a prophet of Allah, because he doesn't believe in a lot
to begin with.

00:05:06 --> 00:05:08
			So we discuss Prophethood.

00:05:09 --> 00:05:10
			With

00:05:11 --> 00:05:17
			those who have submitted, they're convinced that there is a creator of this world

00:05:19 --> 00:05:22
			even if they're not, even if they don't belong to any religion,

00:05:24 --> 00:05:38
			even if they don't belong to any religion, so they could be deists, those who believe that there is
a creator, but they don't believe in profits. So, this is now where we take such people and we

00:05:39 --> 00:05:41
			try to convince them of the truth of profit.

00:05:43 --> 00:05:51
			The second point is that Prophethood is something logically possible and not impossible.

00:05:53 --> 00:05:56
			And so when dealing with deists

00:05:57 --> 00:06:11
			when dealing with deists, we said that deists are those who believe in a creator for this universe,
but they believe that that creator doesn't interfere in his creation.

00:06:12 --> 00:06:19
			So that creator does not send profits does not send any revelation does not guide us human beings.

00:06:20 --> 00:06:26
			Instead, the creator created the world and left it to be as it is.

00:06:27 --> 00:06:28
			So

00:06:31 --> 00:06:36
			profit is Prophethood is something logically possible and this is what we have to convince him.

00:06:37 --> 00:06:43
			This is what we have to convince a deist. And so we have to show them that there is no logical
reason.

00:06:45 --> 00:06:54
			There is no logical reason to prevent a lot from communicating with us. So if a deist denies

00:06:55 --> 00:07:01
			the possibility of prophethood on the grounds of Allah, his ability, he says

00:07:03 --> 00:07:05
			that Allah doesn't have the power or ability

00:07:06 --> 00:07:10
			to send profits, then here we say he's contradicting himself.

00:07:11 --> 00:07:17
			Because if he believes that what created the universe, and he had that power and ability to create
this universe,

00:07:19 --> 00:07:20
			then

00:07:21 --> 00:07:28
			a lot being able to send profits or communicate with certain people he chooses to be profits is much
easier.

00:07:30 --> 00:07:35
			But if his denial of profit is based on

00:07:36 --> 00:07:37
			he says that

00:07:40 --> 00:07:45
			it's not necessary for a lot to send prophets and messengers.

00:07:46 --> 00:07:56
			So here we explain how the wisdom of Allah, the mercy of Allah, and the justice of Allah, these
attributes actually necessitate

00:07:57 --> 00:08:01
			that Allah subhanho wa Taala, communicate to us through revelation,

00:08:03 --> 00:08:03
			meaning,

00:08:05 --> 00:08:08
			Allah is the All Merciful to all wise,

00:08:09 --> 00:08:10
			and adjust.

00:08:12 --> 00:08:20
			And that necessitates that Allah sends to us, that he sends to us, a guide to guide us in this
world.

00:08:23 --> 00:08:24
			Thirdly,

00:08:26 --> 00:08:28
			the wisdom of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:08:30 --> 00:08:31
			The wisdom of Allah,

00:08:33 --> 00:08:36
			His justice, His mercy necessitates that he sends prophets,

00:08:37 --> 00:08:38
			with the revelation.

00:08:39 --> 00:08:41
			And we can see this from different angles.

00:08:42 --> 00:08:45
			Firstly, if we agree that

00:08:47 --> 00:08:48
			we have a creator,

00:08:50 --> 00:08:53
			then that creator must have informed us about himself

00:08:55 --> 00:09:08
			and what he expects from us because it's not logically acceptable, that Allah would leave us in this
world to wander in confusion about who he is, and what he wants from us.

00:09:11 --> 00:09:12
			Because that would mean

00:09:13 --> 00:09:15
			that this God is unjust.

00:09:16 --> 00:09:18
			And we all agree that

00:09:19 --> 00:09:27
			even a deist agrees that in order for God to be God, he has to be he has to have certain attributes,
such as wisdom,

00:09:28 --> 00:09:29
			power,

00:09:31 --> 00:09:32
			mercy, justice.

00:09:34 --> 00:09:42
			And so, once we understand this, we understand that Allah subhanho wa Taala has indeed communicated
with us.

00:09:44 --> 00:09:53
			He must have communicated with us and told us about himself and told us what he wants from us.
Another way of looking at it is

00:09:54 --> 00:09:59
			that not only is profit with something possible

00:10:01 --> 00:10:06
			But it's also necessary from the angle that Allah Subhana who went to Allah is all wise.

00:10:09 --> 00:10:12
			And his wisdom dictates that whatever he does he does for

00:10:13 --> 00:10:20
			a wise purpose. And so Allah created us human beings for a purpose.

00:10:22 --> 00:10:35
			Allah Subhana, Allah to Allah created us for a wise purpose. Because once again, if we say that we
were not created for any wise purpose, then that goes against

00:10:37 --> 00:10:39
			the unique nature of who Allah is.

00:10:41 --> 00:10:45
			If we were to say that a lot just created us in this world without any purpose,

00:10:47 --> 00:10:50
			then that means we're attributing to Allah

00:10:51 --> 00:10:52
			deficiency

00:10:54 --> 00:10:54
			in his wisdom,

00:10:56 --> 00:11:00
			because no one does something, except for a wise purpose.

00:11:02 --> 00:11:09
			No one does anything except for a wise purpose. So how could a lot do something for no reason?

00:11:11 --> 00:11:20
			Without any wise purpose, and Allah mentions is in the Quran, that he didn't just create this world
and us human beings, just like that to live to live and die.

00:11:22 --> 00:11:32
			And so Allah says, as a Hasib to enema, Hakuna Matata, when the chameleon Allah, do you think that
we created you out of mirror play

00:11:33 --> 00:11:58
			out of amusement, just like that, and that you wouldn't be returning to us. So if Allah created us
for a specific purpose, out of his wisdom, then in order for us to achieve that purpose, that
intended purpose, then it was necessary that Allah communicates with us, to guide us to the purpose
of our being. And the only way to do that is through to Prophethood.

00:12:04 --> 00:12:07
			Also, what further shows us that Prophethood

00:12:08 --> 00:12:13
			is something necessary, is the fact that we are a part of a large creation.

00:12:15 --> 00:12:20
			And since Allah created us, he would know what is in our best interests.

00:12:21 --> 00:12:28
			He wouldn't know what is good for us, and what is not good for us. And the only way to tell us that

00:12:29 --> 00:12:30
			is through revelation

00:12:32 --> 00:12:36
			to his prophets. And so through these prophets,

00:12:37 --> 00:12:39
			a lot told us what to do and what not to do,

00:12:41 --> 00:12:45
			how to do it, why we should do it, why we shouldn't do it.

00:12:46 --> 00:12:48
			Allah tells us what he expects from us.

00:12:49 --> 00:12:51
			And he shows us how to correct our deficiencies.

00:12:53 --> 00:12:54
			We need that

00:12:55 --> 00:12:58
			we need our Creator to tell us that.

00:13:00 --> 00:13:05
			And so we can say that the revelation of Allah is like the ultimate User's Manual.

00:13:06 --> 00:13:10
			It provides us with guidance on how

00:13:12 --> 00:13:13
			to use ourselves.

00:13:14 --> 00:13:18
			Just like every product that is manufactured, it comes with a user's manual,

00:13:20 --> 00:13:21
			telling us how to use it,

00:13:22 --> 00:13:28
			how not to use it, how to fix it, etc. Likewise, Allah created us.

00:13:30 --> 00:13:35
			And he knows what's good for us, and what's in our own interests and what is not.

00:13:39 --> 00:13:44
			And so it was necessary that he tells us, he tells us all of that, that He guides us to all of that.

00:13:49 --> 00:13:52
			Finally, the last point that we want to mention here is

00:13:53 --> 00:13:54
			that

00:13:55 --> 00:13:58
			proving the truth of a profit.

00:14:00 --> 00:14:02
			Proving that a profit is true,

00:14:03 --> 00:14:05
			is something not only possible,

00:14:07 --> 00:14:10
			but something necessary, meaning

00:14:13 --> 00:14:15
			that if someone claimed to be a prophet,

00:14:19 --> 00:14:23
			if someone claimed to be a prophet, and he is indeed a true prophet from Allah,

00:14:27 --> 00:14:30
			Allah must have given us proofs and signs.

00:14:32 --> 00:14:38
			To distinguish between a true prophet and a false prophet.

00:14:39 --> 00:14:46
			And this was something necessary. It is something logically necessary because based on

00:14:47 --> 00:14:59
			what we've discussed concerning the necessary nature of prophethood in our need for it, it's
illogical to assume that Allah subhanho wa Taala would have made it difficult for us

00:15:00 --> 00:15:01
			To prove

00:15:02 --> 00:15:04
			the prophethood of his prophets and messengers,

00:15:06 --> 00:15:12
			it goes against the wisdom and the mercy of Allah subhanho wa Taala that he would make that
something difficult.

00:15:14 --> 00:15:18
			And so Allah made the proofs of prophethood.

00:15:20 --> 00:15:21
			He made them clear.

00:15:23 --> 00:15:26
			And he made them to be proofs that are convincing,

00:15:27 --> 00:15:33
			enabling us to distinguish between a true prophet and an imposter.

00:15:34 --> 00:15:38
			Someone who claims to be a prophet, but he is a liar.

00:15:39 --> 00:15:47
			So these are a few things concerning Prophethood in general that are important for us to remember,
before we go on, now we want to look at

00:15:48 --> 00:15:55
			before getting into the actual proofs that prove prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was
indeed truly from Allah subhanahu wa Tada.

00:15:57 --> 00:16:00
			We talk about the ways of proving the truth of profit.

00:16:03 --> 00:16:04
			What are the ways

00:16:05 --> 00:16:09
			of proving the truth, of profit?

00:16:13 --> 00:16:14
			And so

00:16:16 --> 00:16:20
			if you want to prove anything, there are different ways to do it.

00:16:21 --> 00:16:24
			Science gives us the tools to prove

00:16:26 --> 00:16:28
			things that are observable to us.

00:16:30 --> 00:16:32
			in this material world that we live in,

00:16:34 --> 00:16:35
			type, how about

00:16:36 --> 00:16:37
			the truth of a prophet?

00:16:39 --> 00:16:41
			What are the tools that we have?

00:16:42 --> 00:16:47
			To prove that a prophet is indeed truthful?

00:16:48 --> 00:16:51
			In his claim of being sent by Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:16:52 --> 00:16:57
			And so what we say here is that this is something that

00:17:00 --> 00:17:01
			we have to look at,

00:17:02 --> 00:17:07
			from the angle of what is the Prophet conveying to us? Or what claim is he making

00:17:09 --> 00:17:10
			the profit,

00:17:12 --> 00:17:19
			any profit, from a loss of Hannah who data is basically relating to us and account.

00:17:22 --> 00:17:26
			A profit is relating to us an account of something.

00:17:28 --> 00:17:35
			In this case, the profit is relieving us to us and account from Allah subhanho wa Taala. This is his
claim.

00:17:38 --> 00:17:47
			The profit, that's what he's doing. He's basically relieving to us and account from who, from Allah
subhanahu wa Tada. So

00:17:50 --> 00:17:54
			in this case, we use the rules that apply to anyone,

00:17:56 --> 00:18:01
			anyone who released to us an account concerning anything of the matters of dystonia.

00:18:05 --> 00:18:07
			So if someone was to come to you,

00:18:08 --> 00:18:17
			and tell you that I came from such and such far off place, this island. And he described it to you
that this island

00:18:18 --> 00:18:34
			was, you know, it had these characteristics, it had these features, it had these trees, it had this
kind of sand, had this kind of water had this kind of animals. All of this is an account that this
person is relaying to you.

00:18:35 --> 00:18:37
			Now, what do you use

00:18:40 --> 00:18:43
			to prove that what he's telling you is the truth or not?

00:18:45 --> 00:18:47
			The ways that we use

00:18:48 --> 00:18:53
			to distinguish whether he is telling the truth or not, these are the same ways now

00:18:54 --> 00:18:58
			that we use to distinguish between a truthful profit and a liar.

00:19:00 --> 00:19:12
			And so, we have a different variety, a variety, a vast variety of different ways that we can decide
whether he is truthful or not. And so

00:19:14 --> 00:19:15
			what we say here is

00:19:17 --> 00:19:29
			that these ways are not restricted to only one way. Let me say that this is the only way to decide
whether a person is truthful in what he is telling us. But rather we have, we have many different
ways.

00:19:30 --> 00:19:31
			And so,

00:19:32 --> 00:19:33
			you know, just like,

00:19:34 --> 00:19:36
			you want to know whether a person is

00:19:37 --> 00:19:39
			knowledgeable or ignorant.

00:19:40 --> 00:19:41
			Whether a person

00:19:43 --> 00:19:46
			who makes a claim, whether he's truthful, or he's a liar.

00:19:48 --> 00:19:55
			You look at different, different things. And these are the same things that we look at, concerning
concerning

00:19:56 --> 00:19:59
			a prophet and a messenger, who makes a claim about a loss of Hannah who attacks

00:20:03 --> 00:20:07
			And remember, remember that this claim

00:20:08 --> 00:20:09
			of prophethood

00:20:10 --> 00:20:12
			is not like any other claim.

00:20:14 --> 00:20:21
			People can make up make a lot of claims about many things. They could either be truthful, or they
can be liars.

00:20:26 --> 00:20:30
			But the biggest claim to make is a claim about Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:20:32 --> 00:20:36
			And so here we're talking about a claim about the world of the unseen.

00:20:38 --> 00:20:39
			A claim that

00:20:40 --> 00:20:48
			further spans on all aspects of our lives, entire religion, an entire system of law,

00:20:50 --> 00:20:51
			an entire way of life.

00:20:54 --> 00:20:57
			A huge claim, that's going to basically change

00:20:58 --> 00:21:01
			the entire direction of a person and a society.

00:21:02 --> 00:21:03
			It's not a simple claim.

00:21:04 --> 00:21:08
			And so, whoever makes such a claim,

00:21:10 --> 00:21:11
			whoever makes such a claim,

00:21:13 --> 00:21:14
			is either one of two people,

00:21:16 --> 00:21:22
			either he is the most honest, truthful, and pious person

00:21:24 --> 00:21:25
			on the face of this earth,

00:21:27 --> 00:21:28
			meaning a true prophet.

00:21:29 --> 00:21:41
			Or he is the most lying and most evil of people whose lies and evil nature cannot surpass anyone
else's lives. Because he's a liar.

00:21:43 --> 00:22:03
			And lying about Allah subhanho wa Taala is the greatest lie. There's no one who is worse than the
one who lies about a loss of Hannah who have died. And there's no one in between. It's, it's either
you're this or you're that either. You're the most honest and truthful person.

00:22:04 --> 00:22:11
			In other words, a prophet, or you're a false prophet, and imposter, a liar. And there's nothing in
between.

00:22:12 --> 00:22:15
			So with this introduction, we now get into

00:22:16 --> 00:22:24
			the proofs for the prophethood of our Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:22:27 --> 00:22:37
			And since the proofs for the prophethood of Muhammad Sallallahu, alayhi wasallam are so many.

00:22:38 --> 00:22:44
			And the scholars throughout history have written books, talking about the different proofs

00:22:45 --> 00:22:51
			in in books that are known as the law Illa Nobu, the proofs for profit.

00:22:53 --> 00:22:54
			They mentioned many,

00:22:56 --> 00:23:15
			many different proofs have been mentioned. But what we're going to do is we're going to put all of
these proofs under six main categories, or under six main headings. And so anyone who studies the
Syrah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam

00:23:17 --> 00:23:21
			can easily derive the proofs for his prophethood

00:23:23 --> 00:23:30
			from the six categories, or from these six kinds of proofs.

00:23:33 --> 00:23:38
			The first of these categories is

00:23:39 --> 00:23:44
			looking at the personal and moral integrity

00:23:45 --> 00:23:46
			of the Prophet salallahu idea.

00:23:48 --> 00:23:50
			And this is one of the most

00:23:51 --> 00:23:53
			well known proofs.

00:23:55 --> 00:23:59
			basically looking at the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:24:03 --> 00:24:06
			And especially looking at his life prior to claiming

00:24:07 --> 00:24:09
			to being a prophet and a messenger.

00:24:11 --> 00:24:12
			As we know,

00:24:13 --> 00:24:17
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam started to receive revelation at which age

00:24:19 --> 00:24:27
			at the age of at the age of 40. So here we're looking at the life of a man

00:24:28 --> 00:24:30
			over a span of 40 years,

00:24:31 --> 00:24:33
			which is not something small.

00:24:34 --> 00:24:52
			We're looking at an individual examining his integrity from a young age, all the way until Not only
did he reach youth hood, not only they become an adult, but he reached the peak of adulthood

00:24:53 --> 00:24:54
			and that is the age of 40

00:24:55 --> 00:24:57
			after that person starts to decline.

00:24:59 --> 00:24:59
			So

00:25:00 --> 00:25:15
			Whoever looks at the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he finds a human being, who
had reached the highest standard of integrity, in his personality and in his moral character.

00:25:16 --> 00:25:17
			And so,

00:25:19 --> 00:25:19
			look at his life,

00:25:21 --> 00:25:27
			what do you find? You find honesty, you find trustworthy, trustworthiness,

00:25:28 --> 00:25:36
			you find reliability, you find justice, you find humility, humbleness, generosity,

00:25:39 --> 00:25:41
			and other such attributes,

00:25:42 --> 00:25:44
			attributes that show that this person was

00:25:45 --> 00:25:51
			of a very, very high moral standard. And this is something that was acknowledged

00:25:53 --> 00:25:56
			and admitted by both friend and foe.

00:25:58 --> 00:26:03
			Not only the companions, not only those who believed in him,

00:26:04 --> 00:26:07
			but also his enemies, who fought wars and battles against him.

00:26:10 --> 00:26:10
			And so,

00:26:14 --> 00:26:21
			looking at the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and especially before he claimed
Prophethood, one finds

00:26:24 --> 00:26:31
			the very the most important criteria for a person to be a true prophet.

00:26:34 --> 00:26:34
			And

00:26:37 --> 00:26:39
			if we were to analyze

00:26:42 --> 00:26:43
			certain characteristics,

00:26:44 --> 00:26:48
			then what we should be analyzing is two in particular, from

00:26:50 --> 00:26:54
			the characteristics of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and these two are

00:26:55 --> 00:26:58
			honesty and trustworthiness, because this is related to our discussion.

00:27:00 --> 00:27:02
			And so no person can be a true prophet

00:27:04 --> 00:27:06
			unless he was proven to be

00:27:07 --> 00:27:08
			honest and truthful.

00:27:10 --> 00:27:14
			And so a person who reads the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam finds

00:27:17 --> 00:27:17
			that he was

00:27:19 --> 00:27:20
			honest and truthful,

00:27:21 --> 00:27:23
			from a very, very young age.

00:27:24 --> 00:27:27
			And this is what he became known as

00:27:29 --> 00:27:30
			a psychologist, I mean,

00:27:31 --> 00:27:34
			the honest and trustworthy one,

00:27:36 --> 00:27:43
			the honest one who doesn't speak a single lie, and the trustworthy, one, who you can trust him with
anything.

00:27:45 --> 00:27:53
			And this is something attested by, as we said, his own people, and his fiercest enemies.

00:27:55 --> 00:27:58
			And so let's look at some examples. The best example.

00:27:59 --> 00:28:00
			The best example of this

00:28:03 --> 00:28:07
			is when he first proclaimed the dour, openly,

00:28:09 --> 00:28:13
			when Allah Subhana, who was added to the prophet SAW Selim to now openly

00:28:14 --> 00:28:18
			call your people, because initially, it was,

00:28:19 --> 00:28:31
			it was the Dow was not done openly, but rather secretly. And then the prophet SAW Selim was
commanded to openly give down so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, called on the leaders of
courage.

00:28:32 --> 00:28:38
			He called on all of them, and they all gathered, those who couldn't come they sent representatives.

00:28:41 --> 00:28:41
			And he asked him,

00:28:43 --> 00:28:47
			he said, suppose I was to tell you that

00:28:48 --> 00:28:49
			there is an enemy

00:28:51 --> 00:28:53
			that is about to attack you.

00:28:54 --> 00:28:58
			From this from behind this valley. That right now there is an enemy

00:29:00 --> 00:29:06
			with its army behind this valley, and they're about to attack you at this very moment.

00:29:07 --> 00:29:09
			Would you believe me or not?

00:29:11 --> 00:29:12
			So what was their answer?

00:29:14 --> 00:29:21
			They said, Yes, of course. Why? Because we have not found you telling telling anything

00:29:22 --> 00:29:26
			other than the truth, this is what we have known you by for the last 40 years.

00:29:28 --> 00:29:30
			And then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,

00:29:32 --> 00:29:36
			then I am here today to tell you that I am a warner to you

00:29:37 --> 00:29:39
			have a very terrible punishment.

00:29:40 --> 00:29:43
			Meaning that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sent as a warner

00:29:45 --> 00:29:50
			of the punishment of a law for those who do not submit. So at this point,

00:29:51 --> 00:29:51
			at this point,

00:29:53 --> 00:29:53
			Abu lahab

00:29:55 --> 00:29:56
			What did he say?

00:29:57 --> 00:29:58
			He said,

00:29:59 --> 00:29:59
			Ben

00:30:00 --> 00:30:00
			Luck.

00:30:01 --> 00:30:11
			He said, may your hands perish. A Buddha have said this to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
he said, Is this why you have gathered us here today?

00:30:13 --> 00:30:17
			And so as a result of that Allah revealed sooner to lab

00:30:18 --> 00:30:24
			where Allah cursed, a Buddha had answered me his hands perish.

00:30:25 --> 00:30:29
			But the point here is that here is courage.

00:30:31 --> 00:30:32
			admitting

00:30:33 --> 00:30:35
			that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:30:38 --> 00:30:39
			he was a truthful person.

00:30:40 --> 00:30:42
			And we have never known him to lie.

00:30:46 --> 00:30:47
			Even Abu lahab

00:30:48 --> 00:30:50
			he could have said that you're a liar.

00:30:52 --> 00:30:53
			But he couldn't dare say that.

00:30:55 --> 00:31:03
			Because everyone knew that he wasn't a liar, instead of Bula have resorted to name calling,
insulting, cursing, etc.

00:31:05 --> 00:31:10
			And so this is one of the most prominent examples. Another example is

00:31:11 --> 00:31:17
			later on in the seal of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And this is now many years later,

00:31:18 --> 00:31:20
			after the process of migrating to Medina,

00:31:22 --> 00:31:25
			after the wars, with kurush,

00:31:26 --> 00:31:28
			what happened was a group

00:31:29 --> 00:31:31
			among the Quraysh happened to travel to a sham,

00:31:33 --> 00:31:35
			which in those days was part of the Roman Empire.

00:31:38 --> 00:31:40
			And the Roman Emperor

00:31:41 --> 00:31:43
			heraclius.

00:31:44 --> 00:31:57
			He had heard about the Prophet sallallahu, Allah Himself. And so he saw these Arabs from Mecca. And
he said, Come, I want to ask you some questions. So he gathered them. And he asked who is the
closest among you to him?

00:31:59 --> 00:32:05
			So Abu sufian, he said, I'm the closest, so he said, Okay, come, and I want the rest of you to stand
behind him.

00:32:07 --> 00:32:12
			Meaning that if he says anything, that is not true, then I want you to interfere, intervene.

00:32:13 --> 00:32:20
			And so it's a long story. But he asked him several questions to see whether or not

00:32:21 --> 00:32:23
			this man Muhammad Sallallahu wasallam.

00:32:25 --> 00:32:29
			is a true prophet or not. Because remember, these people were Christians.

00:32:31 --> 00:32:36
			And they had prophets, and they knew about prophets. And they had heard of a prophet that was going
to come.

00:32:38 --> 00:32:47
			So he has certain questions to test to see, does this man fit the criteria of a true prophet? Among
these questions, he said,

00:32:48 --> 00:32:50
			Have you ever accused him

00:32:52 --> 00:33:02
			of telling a lie before this meaning before he ever claimed to be a prophet? Have you ever accused
him of being a liar? And so Abu Sufyan.

00:33:03 --> 00:33:05
			He could have said, Yes.

00:33:06 --> 00:33:06
			But he didn't.

00:33:08 --> 00:33:09
			He said, No.

00:33:11 --> 00:33:13
			And remember, this is many years after

00:33:15 --> 00:33:19
			many, many years after this is after wars. They're their enemies.

00:33:21 --> 00:33:23
			If there's anything that Sophia wanted to do,

00:33:24 --> 00:33:27
			he could have discredited the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam, right there and then,

00:33:30 --> 00:33:31
			but he couldn't.

00:33:33 --> 00:33:35
			And so these two examples, show us,

00:33:36 --> 00:33:37
			show us

00:33:38 --> 00:33:54
			this quality of honesty, and trustworthiness that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam had, and
that any person who claims to be a prophet, he must have. And so it's impossible that a man of such
high standards,

00:33:55 --> 00:33:59
			in all honesty, throughout his life, would now want to come 40 years later.

00:34:01 --> 00:34:02
			And say

00:34:03 --> 00:34:13
			that here, I'm claiming to be a prophet. And here I have revelation from Allah. How is that
possible? It's logically impossible that he would want to do that.

00:34:14 --> 00:34:23
			And that's why heraclius that's exactly what he wants to see. That's why he asked that question.
That's why at the end, after he had finished his questioning the levels of young

00:34:25 --> 00:34:30
			he explained each question, he said, I asked you this and you said this.

00:34:31 --> 00:34:34
			I asked you this and then you said this. So I knew

00:34:35 --> 00:34:37
			that this implies this.

00:34:38 --> 00:34:44
			concerning that question, that he asked him about lying, Abou heraclius He said,

00:34:45 --> 00:34:59
			I then asked you whether he was ever accused of telling lies before he said what he said, and your
reply was in the negative. So I understood, or I wondered how a person who does not tell a lie about
others.

00:35:01 --> 00:35:03
			could ever tell a lie about Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:35:08 --> 00:35:20
			And so it's logically impossible that a person who's known for honesty and trustworthiness
throughout his life, would want to come now, until the biggest lie ever.

00:35:23 --> 00:35:30
			also imagine how Christ lived with the Prophet sallallahu Sallam for 13 years.

00:35:32 --> 00:35:36
			13 years, they lived with him going back and forth with him,

00:35:39 --> 00:35:40
			struggling with him.

00:35:42 --> 00:35:46
			And yet, not once were they able to find him like

00:35:47 --> 00:35:49
			even a small life.

00:35:50 --> 00:35:52
			Because if they found even something small,

00:35:54 --> 00:35:55
			they would have taken it,

00:35:56 --> 00:35:59
			they would have jumped on it, they would have run with it.

00:36:01 --> 00:36:03
			And spread all over the world saying

00:36:05 --> 00:36:08
			that the reason why we deny this person is because he's a liar.

00:36:09 --> 00:36:25
			We've proven that he lies, even if it was one small light. But yet, over 13 years of living with
him, after he, after the prophethood they weren't able to even small even find a small light

00:36:26 --> 00:36:32
			like we move on after that to the second kind of proof concerning the

00:36:34 --> 00:36:46
			the proofs for the prophethood of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam. The second proof is by
looking at what the prophet SAW Selim came with, of this Deen

00:36:48 --> 00:36:50
			of how if we were to look at

00:36:51 --> 00:36:55
			this complete way of life that the prophet SAW Selim brought

00:36:58 --> 00:37:02
			these legislations these laws, this entire system

00:37:03 --> 00:37:05
			is complete and sophisticated.

00:37:07 --> 00:37:11
			We see complete, sophisticated, comprehensive,

00:37:12 --> 00:37:22
			universal, detailed, like no other system throughout human history, not even the other false
religions.

00:37:25 --> 00:37:30
			Not even those religions that became distorted, have a complete, sophisticated,

00:37:31 --> 00:37:32
			universal

00:37:33 --> 00:37:37
			system like that which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam brought.

00:37:39 --> 00:37:40
			All of this proves

00:37:42 --> 00:37:44
			that it is impossible, logically impossible.

00:37:46 --> 00:37:51
			that a person, a man in the middle of Arabia in the sixth century,

00:37:53 --> 00:37:55
			who also was unlettered,

00:37:57 --> 00:37:59
			he never learned how to read or write.

00:38:00 --> 00:38:13
			And he didn't have any major travels to other parts of the world where one can say okay, he met with
learned people and then took took some information from them, none of that.

00:38:16 --> 00:38:19
			And this is not something that only we Muslims clean.

00:38:21 --> 00:38:22
			But rather it's something

00:38:23 --> 00:38:27
			that even non Muslims, non Muslim intellectuals and writers

00:38:28 --> 00:38:30
			they acknowledge,

00:38:31 --> 00:38:33
			concerning the deen of Islam.

00:38:35 --> 00:38:36
			That How could a man

00:38:38 --> 00:38:39
			who never knew how to read or write

00:38:41 --> 00:38:48
			and is in the middle of Arabia, or people who are looked at as being backward in the sixth century?

00:38:49 --> 00:38:55
			How could he have brought such a complete, sophisticated,

00:38:57 --> 00:39:07
			detailed, comprehensive system, which teaches human beings how to live, how to connect with their
Lord,

00:39:08 --> 00:39:13
			not only how to live their personal lives, but as a society.

00:39:15 --> 00:39:24
			And so this is one of the proofs that is usually mentioned. Moving on to the third kind of proof.
This is by looking at

00:39:26 --> 00:39:28
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:39:30 --> 00:39:31
			And what Allah revealed to him

00:39:34 --> 00:39:37
			that whatever Allah revealed to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:39:38 --> 00:39:39
			he took it

00:39:41 --> 00:39:42
			and was convinced of it

00:39:44 --> 00:39:45
			and was confident on it.

00:39:48 --> 00:39:52
			This conviction and confidence you do not find

00:39:55 --> 00:39:57
			in an imposter, a false prophet

00:40:00 --> 00:40:15
			And so, when we look at the life of the prophet SAW Selim, we find that whatever he did, or whatever
you relayed from Allah, it was based on conviction and confidence that you know what this is from
Allah subhanho, wa Taala.

00:40:16 --> 00:40:18
			And whatever I do now,

00:40:19 --> 00:40:23
			it's going to be based on my conviction and my confidence.

00:40:24 --> 00:40:27
			Because if the Prophet awesome was not,

00:40:29 --> 00:40:36
			if he was not convinced, if he was not confident, then he would have taken different stances in his
life.

00:40:38 --> 00:40:43
			Those that an imposter would do if he was in the same position.

00:40:45 --> 00:40:49
			Because the nature of a liar is that you find that they are inconsistent.

00:40:51 --> 00:40:53
			And they're hesitant,

00:40:54 --> 00:40:55
			in many things, that

00:40:56 --> 00:40:58
			that they're claiming, a liar,

00:41:00 --> 00:41:01
			you find that they're hesitant. That's why

00:41:03 --> 00:41:03
			when

00:41:06 --> 00:41:08
			a criminal or a suspect

00:41:09 --> 00:41:14
			when they're investigating a certain suspect, they use that machine

00:41:17 --> 00:41:22
			to see how truthful he is. And what that machine tells them

00:41:23 --> 00:41:24
			is whether he's hesitant or not.

00:41:27 --> 00:41:28
			And so a liar is very hesitant.

00:41:31 --> 00:41:33
			Whereas a person who's telling the truth, he's confident,

00:41:36 --> 00:41:37
			he's convinced he's confident.

00:41:38 --> 00:41:41
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam

00:41:42 --> 00:41:45
			knew that not only was this a truth from Allah, but also

00:41:46 --> 00:41:48
			Allah Subhana who without it is with me.

00:41:50 --> 00:41:52
			And he's eating me, and he's protecting me.

00:41:55 --> 00:42:01
			An example of this is when a loss of China who with the HANA revealed to the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam

00:42:02 --> 00:42:04
			Yeah, you heard rasuluh Bella,

00:42:05 --> 00:42:06
			de la la, come Arabic.

00:42:07 --> 00:42:23
			Messenger, convey what has revealed what we have what your Lord has revealed to you. What element of
alpha, the lottery salata, if you don't, then you have not conveyed the message. And then what is a
lossy? Well law who else will come in

00:42:25 --> 00:42:43
			and Allah will guard you will protect you from the people. When this was revealed to the Prophet
salallahu alayhi wa sallam, he ordered those who were with him, who were his bodyguards. He told
them to leave. And he said, From now on, I don't have any need for you.

00:42:46 --> 00:42:52
			Because I have a lot with me, a lot is protecting me. I don't need any protection. Now.

00:42:56 --> 00:42:57
			How could an imposter

00:42:59 --> 00:43:01
			and a liar do such a thing?

00:43:02 --> 00:43:06
			If a person was lying, and he knows that he's a liar.

00:43:07 --> 00:43:09
			And he knows he has enemies.

00:43:12 --> 00:43:14
			He would make sure that he protects himself.

00:43:16 --> 00:43:19
			He would make sure that he has bodyguards.

00:43:22 --> 00:43:27
			Logically, one who is truthful and confident that Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:43:28 --> 00:43:30
			will protect him and guard him.

00:43:33 --> 00:43:39
			He's confident. And so he knows that it's a promise of a loss of kind of water.

00:43:41 --> 00:43:49
			And so I don't have to fear the people. I don't have to fear any consequences. Another example.
Another example is the fact that

00:43:50 --> 00:43:52
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam would

00:43:54 --> 00:43:56
			really accounts

00:43:57 --> 00:43:59
			concerning his enemies

00:44:01 --> 00:44:02
			and what will happen to them?

00:44:03 --> 00:44:08
			And he would do this with full conviction and full confidence.

00:44:10 --> 00:44:11
			Now a lawyer

00:44:13 --> 00:44:15
			that would be too risky for him. How

00:44:17 --> 00:44:18
			if someone was telling the light

00:44:20 --> 00:44:21
			that so and so

00:44:22 --> 00:44:24
			he will, he's

00:44:25 --> 00:44:26
			he's destined for the hellfire.

00:44:28 --> 00:44:32
			He's never gonna follow me. And he's destined for the hellfire.

00:44:34 --> 00:44:39
			That's risky for him. Because what if that person actually ends up following him?

00:44:42 --> 00:44:47
			What if that person actually ends up following him? Then it proves that he was a liar, right?

00:44:50 --> 00:44:55
			This happened with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the case of who? Allah.

00:44:57 --> 00:45:00
			So Allah revealed an entire surah concerning a Buddha

00:45:00 --> 00:45:03
			Have that he's destined for the Hellfire meaning he's never gonna believe.

00:45:04 --> 00:45:09
			And the process will seldom release that with full confidence

00:45:11 --> 00:45:26
			not fearing that okay, maybe I will have will accept Islam and then you know, I'll look like a liar.
No the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was convinced and was confident in whatever

00:45:27 --> 00:45:34
			he relieved of the revelation of Allah subhanho wa Taala something that an imposter and a liar can
never do.

00:45:36 --> 00:45:39
			Another example of this is a challenge

00:45:41 --> 00:45:43
			to produce something similar to the court.

00:45:44 --> 00:45:45
			Once again,

00:45:46 --> 00:45:53
			what if for argument's sake, what if the Arabs at that time were able to

00:45:54 --> 00:45:58
			challenge the Quran and say, we produce something similar to it?

00:46:00 --> 00:46:00
			What would you do?

00:46:01 --> 00:46:13
			It would expose the proselytism as a liar because Allah said in the Quran, that no matter what they
did, if all the humans and the jinn gathered, they will never be able to produce something similar
to it.

00:46:15 --> 00:46:17
			But now, what if they were able to do so?

00:46:18 --> 00:46:30
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam The point here is that he was never hesitant in any claim
that he ever made, but rather, he was fully convinced and confident. Even though

00:46:31 --> 00:46:41
			even though outwardly, it seems that this is risky, to his mission, to be so confident, but because
he was truthful, he didn't have to worry about that.

00:46:42 --> 00:46:45
			He knows this is from Allah. And it's impossible for a lot to lie.

00:46:47 --> 00:46:50
			Moving on to the fourth kind of proof.

00:46:52 --> 00:46:56
			The fourth kind of proof, proving the prophethood of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam,

00:46:58 --> 00:47:17
			or supernatural events, or what we can call miracles. And so like, all other prophets and messengers
of Allah subhanho, wa Taala aidid, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam with certain signs that
would prove that he was indeed sent by Allah subhanahu wa Tada, and that he was not an imposter.

00:47:19 --> 00:47:23
			The whole purpose of Allah giving miracles to these prophets

00:47:24 --> 00:47:26
			is to prove to their people,

00:47:27 --> 00:47:30
			that these people, these men,

00:47:32 --> 00:47:34
			are indeed sent by Allah,

00:47:35 --> 00:47:44
			the controller of the laws of this universe. And so if you see a certain law in this universe, being
interfered with,

00:47:45 --> 00:47:47
			and that proves that it is a lot doing it.

00:47:48 --> 00:48:03
			And not this human being. And so these supernatural events, they happen numerous times, and not just
once. And so if it was just a few times, one can say, okay, it was a coincidence. But no,

00:48:04 --> 00:48:46
			these miracles, they happen many, many times. And there are so many different kinds of miracles to
happen in the life of the Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam, that prove that were that they were
intended, and that they could not have been coincidental. And we have many examples that I'm sure
many of us know of, such as the splitting of the moon, the the tree trunk, that cried, the tree
trunk that perhaps also used to give put back. And so when the prodigal son told the companions to
make him a member, that tree trunk is starting to cry, and all the Sahaba witnessed it. So we can't
say that it was an illusion, something that probably saw some cleaned.

00:48:48 --> 00:48:50
			No, all the Sahaba they witnessed it.

00:48:51 --> 00:48:53
			Also the flowing of water,

00:48:55 --> 00:48:56
			the blessing in food,

00:48:58 --> 00:49:01
			and all of these, and many more, that are examples of these miracles.

00:49:08 --> 00:49:18
			After that, we move on to the final. And the last kind of proof concerning the proofs for the
prophethood of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam.

00:49:22 --> 00:49:28
			Or there's two more actually, the fifth one is concerning the fulfillment of prophecies.

00:49:29 --> 00:49:37
			And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam on many occasions would foretell an event that would
happen

00:49:38 --> 00:49:47
			in the near future. And that event would happen exactly like the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
foretold it.

00:49:49 --> 00:49:59
			And so no imposter could do that with such precision and with such accuracy on more than one
occasion again, if it was once or twice

00:50:00 --> 00:50:05
			Someone can say, okay, maybe it's coincidental, he made a guess.

00:50:06 --> 00:50:15
			But it happened many, many times. And we have many examples of this. These are called prophecies.
And so for example, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam

00:50:16 --> 00:50:17
			told the companions,

00:50:19 --> 00:50:26
			about the Battle of Godot, and how certain individuals from Croatia would die in that battle.

00:50:27 --> 00:50:28
			And prior to the battle,

00:50:30 --> 00:50:39
			he mentioned the specific places where they would fall, and where they would die. And after the
battle, the companions found that these

00:50:40 --> 00:50:49
			enemies, they died in those specific places. Exactly, and the exact locations that the prophet SAW
Selim told them also, the prophet also told us

00:50:51 --> 00:51:12
			that for tomorrow, the Allahu Allah would be the very first to to follow him from his family
members, meaning the first one to die after him. After his death, from the from the household, or
the process that would be for tomorrow, the Allahu Allah, and she died a few months after the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:51:14 --> 00:51:27
			Also, the press also mentioned that beta knock this would fall in the hands of the Muslims, soon
after his death, that's exactly what happened and many other prophecies. And so what we say is that

00:51:28 --> 00:51:36
			it's not possible for a false prophet, to make such claims, and then see them fulfilled.

00:51:40 --> 00:51:43
			And what further proves this is

00:51:44 --> 00:51:47
			that we find in the life of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that

00:51:49 --> 00:51:54
			he would give his personal opinions concerning certain matters.

00:51:56 --> 00:51:58
			That were not aided by revelation from Allah.

00:52:00 --> 00:52:01
			And he ended up being wrong.

00:52:02 --> 00:52:21
			So for example, he saw some people forming and planting date palm trees, and they were using a
certain method that they thought would yield more fruit. So the process Selim said, there's no need
to do that. It won't yield more fruit. This was his personal judgment, his personal human opinion.

00:52:22 --> 00:52:30
			It had nothing to do with the revelation of Allah. So it turned out that they listened to the
prophet SAW Selim, and then they found that

00:52:32 --> 00:52:40
			they didn't yield more fruit. So the prophet SAW Selim said, he said, Do not go after my personal
opinions. But when I tell you something,

00:52:41 --> 00:52:51
			on behalf of a lot, then do accept it, because I do not attribute a light to Allah Subhana water. So
if the prophet SAW Selim had independent knowledge of the future,

00:52:53 --> 00:52:54
			then

00:52:55 --> 00:52:58
			he could have, he could have known.

00:52:59 --> 00:53:01
			He could have known the right way to plant

00:53:02 --> 00:53:06
			and other examples as well in his life, he could have given the proper judgment.

00:53:08 --> 00:53:09
			But he didn't.

00:53:10 --> 00:53:16
			He didn't. And so this shows us that he was a human being, when it came to the revelation.

00:53:18 --> 00:53:28
			He was precise and accurate. Finally, the last proof concerning the proofs of the prophethood of
Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the miracle of the Quran,

00:53:30 --> 00:53:34
			the miracle of the Quran. And so what is meant by this kind of proof is

00:53:35 --> 00:53:57
			that when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam claimed to be sent by Allah Subhana, who were to
Allah, to as human beings, he brought words that we recognize, and he said, Allah is the one who
revealed these words. So he made the truth of his or he made the proof of his truthfulness,
discourse.

00:53:59 --> 00:54:04
			And the proof that he used is the eloquence of the Quran.

00:54:05 --> 00:54:12
			The nature of the Quran in its clarity, in its consistency, and its accuracy. And he announced a
challenge,

00:54:14 --> 00:54:26
			a challenge that would stand until this very day, and that is the challenge to produce something
similar to the Quran. And this is a challenge that stands until today.

00:54:27 --> 00:54:28
			And

00:54:30 --> 00:54:49
			this challenge is, as Allah said, in the Quran, to produce 10 chapters like this, if you're not able
to then produce at least one and this is something that the Arabs at that time were unable to, they
were unable to do. And until this day, no one has done. And so this unmet challenge.

00:54:52 --> 00:54:55
			This unmet challenge of the Quran is a miracle proving

00:54:57 --> 00:54:59
			that what the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam brought

00:55:00 --> 00:55:02
			is not the words of any human being.

00:55:03 --> 00:55:08
			But rather they are the words of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So with that we conclude

00:55:09 --> 00:55:39
			this session and next week we'll move on to discuss the proofs of the authenticity of the Quran. And
so this last proof that we discussed is, you know, suitable concerning the next lesson which is
going to be on the proofs that prove that the Quran is indeed from Allah subhanho wa Taala ask Allah
subhanho wa Taala to grant us all beneficial knowledge, so panic alone will be handed a shadow Allah
