The importance of belief in the existence of Allah's existence is foundational to Islam, and evidence is needed to support their claims. The speakers stress the need for evidence, including evidence for the natural position of individuals and their actions, and the importance of using rational arguments for scientific research. They also stress the need for more research to prove the existence of Allah's existence and the importance of using rational arguments for scientific research.

00:01:07 --> 00:01:09
			Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim

00:01:11 --> 00:01:12
			hamdu Lillahi Rabbil aalameen

00:01:14 --> 00:01:18
			wa salatu salam ala milania Allah, Allah He

00:01:20 --> 00:01:31
			will early he will be the woman that we heard he was sending a b suniti he Illa yo Medina madad
Salaam Alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

00:01:40 --> 00:01:43
			Today we move on to

00:01:44 --> 00:01:45
			the first

00:01:48 --> 00:01:51
			the first aspect of a class instilling again.

00:01:53 --> 00:01:54
			And that is looking at

00:01:56 --> 00:02:00
			proofs for the existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:02:02 --> 00:02:05
			And before we actually get into

00:02:06 --> 00:02:07
			the proofs,

00:02:10 --> 00:02:12
			it's important to remember that

00:02:15 --> 00:02:18
			affirmation of the existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:02:20 --> 00:02:25
			is the very foundation at the very core of Islam.

00:02:29 --> 00:02:34
			And any religion for that matter, that believes in the oneness of Allah Subhana, WA Tada.

00:02:37 --> 00:02:38
			All other beliefs

00:02:39 --> 00:02:41
			come and follow it.

00:02:42 --> 00:02:42
			And so,

00:02:44 --> 00:02:49
			for example, a person cannot believe in the oneness of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:02:51 --> 00:02:54
			Unless he believes obviously, in the existence of him,

00:02:55 --> 00:02:57
			a person can't believe in

00:02:59 --> 00:03:00
			the messengers

00:03:01 --> 00:03:06
			and in the revelations that came to them, unless he believes that it was a law who sent them.

00:03:07 --> 00:03:09
			And obviously, he has to believe that a law exists.

00:03:11 --> 00:03:14
			A person can't believe in life after death,

00:03:15 --> 00:03:18
			and the resurrection, and the last day,

00:03:19 --> 00:03:32
			unless he believes in the existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala. So, you can't believe in any of the
foundational aspects of Islam.

00:03:33 --> 00:03:35
			Unless and until you first believe in

00:03:37 --> 00:03:45
			the existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala. As such belief in a laws existence is foundational

00:03:46 --> 00:03:47
			to Islam.

00:03:48 --> 00:03:57
			It is the very basis and the foundation. And it's so foundational.

00:03:59 --> 00:04:00
			And it's so obvious

00:04:01 --> 00:04:06
			that it's not something that actually requires

00:04:07 --> 00:04:10
			any specific Debate

00:04:11 --> 00:04:15
			or discussion. Or, you know,

00:04:17 --> 00:04:18
			proofs and evidences.

00:04:20 --> 00:04:25
			And this point is very, very important to remember before continuing.

00:04:26 --> 00:04:32
			And that's because the atheists of today they want they want to make it seem as if

00:04:34 --> 00:04:41
			and I mentioned this last week, as if denying the existence of a loss of Hannah who attended that is

00:04:42 --> 00:04:43
			the natural position.

00:04:45 --> 00:04:49
			They want you to believe that the natural position is

00:04:51 --> 00:04:54
			that there is no creator

00:04:55 --> 00:04:56
			and there is

00:04:57 --> 00:04:59
			no basis for them.

00:05:01 --> 00:05:09
			How do they do that? Whenever you get into a discussion with them, they first put forward the
question, Does God Exist?

00:05:11 --> 00:05:15
			And what are the evidence is to support this belief?

00:05:17 --> 00:05:19
			And then from that question

00:05:21 --> 00:05:22
			from that question,

00:05:24 --> 00:05:25
			they start off.

00:05:28 --> 00:05:30
			And the problem with this is

00:05:33 --> 00:05:34
			that we Muslim, sometimes

00:05:36 --> 00:05:38
			we end up on the defensive when this happens.

00:05:42 --> 00:05:43
			And

00:05:45 --> 00:05:46
			we start focusing on

00:05:48 --> 00:05:51
			trying to bring as many evidences and arguments as we can,

00:05:54 --> 00:05:55
			as if

00:05:56 --> 00:05:59
			we admitted and acknowledged

00:06:01 --> 00:06:02
			that this is something that requires debating

00:06:04 --> 00:06:05
			that this is something

00:06:06 --> 00:06:13
			that this is a question, a rational question, Does God exists? And what are the evidences to support

00:06:14 --> 00:06:16
			this belief, as if,

00:06:18 --> 00:06:27
			as if this is how we should start the discussion as if we should first don't the existence of a lot,
then after that, let's look for

00:06:29 --> 00:06:32
			what are the evidences to prove that he exists.

00:06:35 --> 00:06:36
			And so,

00:06:38 --> 00:06:40
			what we have to actually be arguing

00:06:43 --> 00:06:44
			is

00:06:45 --> 00:06:47
			that we don't actually need evidence

00:06:49 --> 00:06:54
			for the existence of a loss of Hannah who want to hide. And so the question should not be

00:06:57 --> 00:06:58
			Does God Exist?

00:07:00 --> 00:07:03
			That shouldn't be the question that we started off from.

00:07:05 --> 00:07:11
			But rather, the question should be, what reasons Do we have to deny his existence?

00:07:13 --> 00:07:24
			What reasons are there to deny the existence of a loss of Hannah who were to hide? And so if you
were to start the discussion, in this way, you would find

00:07:26 --> 00:07:28
			that when you're dealing with whether it be

00:07:30 --> 00:07:32
			affirmed atheists,

00:07:33 --> 00:07:42
			or whether it be people who are doubting the existence of Allah, you'll find that the reasons for
rejecting or doubting

00:07:43 --> 00:07:49
			there exists existence have a lot to begin with. It has very little to do with evidence.

00:07:51 --> 00:07:54
			And it has more to do with other factors.

00:07:56 --> 00:07:58
			It usually has more to do with

00:07:59 --> 00:08:03
			other factors such as emotional issues,

00:08:05 --> 00:08:10
			such psychological issues, certain personal problems.

00:08:15 --> 00:08:17
			As for what is the evidence,

00:08:19 --> 00:08:20
			then

00:08:21 --> 00:08:24
			those who are looking for the evidence, they are few

00:08:27 --> 00:08:28
			those who believe that

00:08:30 --> 00:08:33
			it is the evidence that led me to deny the existence of Allah.

00:08:35 --> 00:08:37
			And that that's where all started from

00:08:38 --> 00:08:39
			they are very few.

00:08:41 --> 00:08:42
			And for most people,

00:08:43 --> 00:08:48
			it was certain other factors that led them

00:08:50 --> 00:08:55
			to start don't realize existence and then to become atheists. And this is something

00:08:56 --> 00:08:59
			that even many of famed

00:09:00 --> 00:09:03
			and big atheists acknowledge.

00:09:06 --> 00:09:10
			And so there's one atheist, who is a leading atheist of this past century,

00:09:12 --> 00:09:13
			of the past century,

00:09:14 --> 00:09:16
			by the name of Andrew flew,

00:09:18 --> 00:09:26
			who towards the end of his life, he changed and he became a believer in the existence of a law.

00:09:27 --> 00:09:29
			And he writes,

00:09:30 --> 00:09:37
			that this, that the problem of evil the problem of evil as one example, he says that the problem of
evil

00:09:39 --> 00:09:44
			which is basically that how can a god exists, who's merciful who's

00:09:45 --> 00:09:48
			just, and yet there's suffering in the world.

00:09:50 --> 00:09:59
			He says that the problem of evil was what led him to atheists, atheism, and what has led the
majority of atheists to become atheists.

00:10:01 --> 00:10:03
			That's where it all starts from

00:10:04 --> 00:10:06
			other factors, not evidence.

00:10:08 --> 00:10:08
			But

00:10:10 --> 00:10:14
			I'm not seeing here that we don't have good reasons or evidence is

00:10:15 --> 00:10:19
			to believe in Allah's existence. That's not what I'm saying here.

00:10:22 --> 00:10:27
			Of course we do. And that's why, you know, that's exactly what we're going to be talking about
today.

00:10:29 --> 00:10:34
			But the point is that we don't require evidence.

00:10:35 --> 00:10:38
			We don't require any evidence for the existence of a lot. Why?

00:10:40 --> 00:10:43
			Because the existence of a loss of Hannah who went to Hana

00:10:45 --> 00:10:47
			is a self evident truth.

00:10:49 --> 00:10:53
			It is a self evident truth.

00:10:57 --> 00:11:00
			We have many self self evident truths in the world.

00:11:04 --> 00:11:09
			These truths are those things that you don't require your evidence to prove.

00:11:11 --> 00:11:13
			They are self evident.

00:11:14 --> 00:11:15
			For example,

00:11:17 --> 00:11:18
			does this world exist?

00:11:20 --> 00:11:24
			No one's gonna ask you prove to me that it exists.

00:11:25 --> 00:11:34
			No one's gonna ask such a question. What is the proof that this world exists? Why? Because the world
existing is a self evident truth.

00:11:36 --> 00:11:39
			And this is why I've been able to call him

00:11:42 --> 00:11:44
			who was basically the student of

00:11:46 --> 00:11:48
			cheerfulness and he didn't taenia

00:11:49 --> 00:11:50
			it Look at him. He says,

00:11:52 --> 00:11:55
			I heard shithole Islam, even taymiyah say

00:11:57 --> 00:12:06
			How could evidence be requested to prove the existence of what everything in existence is evidence
of.

00:12:07 --> 00:12:13
			And he often used to give the example from the following lines of poetry, either Trojan horse Isla
de Lille

00:12:14 --> 00:12:19
			while a Sir, your social fill as well as a social fill attorney Shay

00:12:20 --> 00:12:28
			Isla de nothing in the minds can be true. If the day needs to be proven.

00:12:31 --> 00:12:52
			He goes on to say it is well known. It is well known that the existence of the Lord is more apparent
to the mind and innate nature than the existence of the day. Whoever does not see that in his mind,
and in his innate nature is fitrah. Then let him blame them. Let him blame his

00:12:53 --> 00:12:57
			deficient mind, and his clouded fitrah.

00:12:58 --> 00:12:59
			And so

00:13:00 --> 00:13:05
			if the existence of a loss of Hannah, who were to Ireland is a self evident truth,

00:13:08 --> 00:13:10
			that doesn't require any evidence,

00:13:12 --> 00:13:14
			any specific evidence to prove

00:13:16 --> 00:13:16
			then?

00:13:18 --> 00:13:24
			Why are we here today? And why are we going to sit down and talk about the proofs for last
existence?

00:13:25 --> 00:13:27
			The answer is because

00:13:28 --> 00:13:32
			of the presence, the existence of opposition.

00:13:34 --> 00:13:35
			Meaning

00:13:36 --> 00:13:40
			that there exists people today who

00:13:42 --> 00:13:48
			deny the existence of Allah and present arguments for that, and are vocal about

00:13:50 --> 00:14:06
			it's only because of that, that now we need to sit down and say, Okay, so here are our are our
responses to those arguments. Here are our evidences to affirm the existence of Allah subhana wa,
Tada.

00:14:07 --> 00:14:09
			If the opposition never existed,

00:14:11 --> 00:14:14
			then there would be no need to talk about it. And that's why

00:14:15 --> 00:14:18
			if you were to look at Islamic literature,

00:14:19 --> 00:14:20
			the scholars

00:14:22 --> 00:14:26
			and their books, and the kinds of stuff that they have written in their books,

00:14:28 --> 00:14:29
			affirming beliefs,

00:14:31 --> 00:14:33
			and providing evidence for that,

00:14:34 --> 00:14:40
			and arguments and counter arguments, you find that they didn't really delve deeply into

00:14:42 --> 00:14:44
			the topic of the existence of a law.

00:14:47 --> 00:14:53
			They did talk about it, but not as deeply as they did about other issues. Even though what did we
start off by saying

00:14:54 --> 00:14:58
			that affirmation of the existence of a lot is the very foundation

00:15:00 --> 00:15:18
			It's the very base, you can't move on to the other beliefs of Islam and affirm them and believe in
them until you believed in that. But why is it that they spent a little time focusing on that,
because that opposition didn't exist in their time.

00:15:20 --> 00:15:23
			The opposition where people are denying the existence of a lot

00:15:26 --> 00:15:27
			and presenting arguments for it.

00:15:29 --> 00:15:40
			It never existed throughout history. It was very few there did exist people. And we do find debates
with some of the scholars of Islam with

00:15:41 --> 00:15:53
			with certain people who would argue that a lot does not exist, but they were few rare cases. They
were few. And they were rare cases. And so

00:15:55 --> 00:15:57
			because of the fact that today,

00:15:58 --> 00:16:00
			atheism is on the rise,

00:16:01 --> 00:16:05
			and people are presenting arguments and evidence and proof for it.

00:16:06 --> 00:16:17
			That is why we need to now sit down and say, Here are our arguments. Here are the evidences that
prove the existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:16:18 --> 00:16:23
			So I thought this is very, very important to mention, before actually

00:16:24 --> 00:16:29
			delving into the proofs for the existence of a loss of Hannah what.

00:16:33 --> 00:16:34
			Now,

00:16:36 --> 00:16:38
			the proofs for existence are many.

00:16:39 --> 00:16:39
			And

00:16:41 --> 00:16:45
			there are many that you can find in different books, but we're going to stick to

00:16:47 --> 00:16:55
			just three or four. And these are the main ones that we can look at, and they are the most widely
used as well.

00:16:57 --> 00:16:58
			The first

00:17:00 --> 00:17:03
			the first proof is the fitrah.

00:17:09 --> 00:17:12
			And so, we mentioned that

00:17:14 --> 00:17:18
			the existence of a law is a self evident truth.

00:17:20 --> 00:17:24
			Why is it self evident? And why is it so obvious?

00:17:26 --> 00:17:30
			The answer is because of the fitrah.

00:17:31 --> 00:17:39
			Because of the fifth, the fifth row is basically an Arabic word that basically means the natural
state

00:17:40 --> 00:17:44
			or the innate nature

00:17:45 --> 00:17:50
			or the innate disposition of human beings.

00:17:52 --> 00:17:57
			And it is this fifth or this innate nature

00:17:58 --> 00:18:02
			that basically recognizes a loss of Hannah who would tada

00:18:04 --> 00:18:06
			and recognizes the need

00:18:07 --> 00:18:10
			to worship Allah subhanahu wa tada alone.

00:18:12 --> 00:18:15
			It is the fitrah that recognizes

00:18:17 --> 00:18:20
			Allah subhana wa tada and obviously his existence

00:18:22 --> 00:18:37
			and it recognizes the need to worship Allah subhanahu wa Tada. Basically, it recognizes Allah's
existence and the toe, he'd have a loss of Hannah, who, what. So, the argument of the fifth row can
be used not only

00:18:39 --> 00:18:41
			for atheists, but also for who

00:18:43 --> 00:18:43
			for,

00:18:48 --> 00:18:49
			for the Missouri Kuhn.

00:18:50 --> 00:19:00
			So we said that the fitrah basically, it recognizes a lot of existence and it recognizes the tawheed
of Allah, that Allah needs to be worshipped.

00:19:05 --> 00:19:07
			And we'll come

00:19:08 --> 00:19:10
			we'll come across evidence of that in the Quran.

00:19:14 --> 00:19:17
			Even taymiyah, he explains regarding the fitrah he says

00:19:18 --> 00:19:27
			that affirmation of a creator is firmly rooted in the hearts of all men.

00:19:28 --> 00:19:31
			It is from the binding necessities of their creation.

00:19:34 --> 00:19:40
			affirmation of a creator is firmly rooted in the hearts of all men.

00:19:41 --> 00:19:45
			And it is from the binding necessities of their creation.

00:19:46 --> 00:19:46
			Meaning,

00:19:48 --> 00:19:54
			just like a human being has has to have a heart in order to live. He has to have lungs in order to
live.

00:19:56 --> 00:19:59
			Likewise, he has to have that filter in him.

00:20:00 --> 00:20:01
			Is something he was created with.

00:20:03 --> 00:20:06
			He was something he was created with.

00:20:08 --> 00:20:25
			And a loss of Hannah who attalla tells us about the fitrah in the Quran 13 was a hacker, lead, Dini
hanifa citrato, la isla de Fatah, Nasser Alia. So be steadfast in faith in all, uprightness.

00:20:27 --> 00:20:40
			And then Allah describes that faith, the fitrah of Allah, which he has instilled in all people, the
fitrah of Allah, which he has instilled within every single person.

00:20:44 --> 00:20:54
			So the filter is mentioned here in the Quran, Allah tells us that he created all of us upon the
fitrah what is the fitrah it is recognition of Allah

00:20:56 --> 00:20:57
			that He

00:20:58 --> 00:21:02
			is the only creator who deserves to be worshipped.

00:21:03 --> 00:21:14
			And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam explained this fitrah further, he said, that every
single child is born in a state of fitrah.

00:21:16 --> 00:21:25
			But it is the parents who make him into a Jew, who make him into a Christian, who make him into a
fire worshiper.

00:21:28 --> 00:21:28
			And so,

00:21:30 --> 00:21:33
			Islam is also a part of the fitrah.

00:21:35 --> 00:21:35
			Islam

00:21:36 --> 00:21:39
			is also a part of the fitrah.

00:21:42 --> 00:21:44
			And what further proves the fitrah

00:21:46 --> 00:21:50
			that we all have a Phaedra recognizing Allah subhanho wa Taala within us

00:21:52 --> 00:21:55
			is that when we human beings are exposed to danger

00:21:57 --> 00:21:59
			when we're exposed to

00:22:01 --> 00:22:10
			a calamity or disaster, a disaster is about to fall upon us. We're on the brink of disaster.

00:22:12 --> 00:22:18
			It is that fifth rod that basically comes out and is a weekend

00:22:19 --> 00:22:21
			making a structure to Allah alone

00:22:23 --> 00:22:24
			and call him for help.

00:22:28 --> 00:22:31
			When we're in such a dangerous situation,

00:22:34 --> 00:22:38
			even if we claimed that our law does not exist,

00:22:40 --> 00:22:43
			even if we claim that Allah has partners.

00:22:45 --> 00:23:06
			Even if we set up partners with alone we used to worship these partners, these idols or whatever
other false gods when it comes to that dangerous point in our lives, when we see death in front of
us. We forget about all of that. And we turn to Allah alone, calling upon him for help.

00:23:07 --> 00:23:08
			And Allah has mentioned this in the

00:23:10 --> 00:23:12
			in more than one place Allah mentions

00:23:15 --> 00:23:22
			in an example here in Surah, Yunus, Allah subhanahu wa tada says, who led you say you can feel very
well

00:23:23 --> 00:23:27
			had either quantum field full key was gonna be him very

00:23:29 --> 00:23:52
			well 30 who will be her job Atari henhouse, you will know during Cody McCann was one unknown Toby
him. There I will la De La Hoya de la in nj 10 I mean, how'd he learn Hakuna in a Sharky dream. So
here Allah subhanho wa Taala says, telling us about the state of the machinery. Khun

00:23:53 --> 00:23:57
			Allah says he is the one who enables you to travel through land and through sea.

00:23:59 --> 00:24:03
			And then it so happens that you are on ships at sea,

00:24:04 --> 00:24:06
			sailing with a nice wind

00:24:07 --> 00:24:08
			there are no problems.

00:24:10 --> 00:24:15
			Suddenly, the ships are overcome by a stormy wind.

00:24:16 --> 00:24:22
			And those onboard they find themselves emerged in waves.

00:24:23 --> 00:24:26
			And so they think that that's it.

00:24:27 --> 00:24:39
			They're going to be destroyed. They're doomed. They think they're gonna drown. It is at that point
that they cry out to a loss of Hannah who went to Ohio alone, sincerely.

00:24:41 --> 00:24:47
			If you save us from this, we will certainly be grateful. And then in the next area,

00:24:48 --> 00:24:51
			a law tells us that he sees them.

00:24:53 --> 00:24:53
			Philomena

00:24:55 --> 00:25:00
			Naja Hamid Albury Fela angelholm either homie

00:25:00 --> 00:25:01
			Hoon I feel utterly useless?

00:25:03 --> 00:25:04
			Then when we save them,

00:25:06 --> 00:25:10
			and they go back to land, they go back to their idol worship.

00:25:13 --> 00:25:16
			And so this proof is like I said,

00:25:18 --> 00:25:21
			for not only the machinery cool, even though this AI and other is

00:25:23 --> 00:25:28
			talking about how human beings call upon a lot alone and forget about their idols.

00:25:29 --> 00:25:34
			This is concerning them shikun, obviously, but it can also be used for atheists.

00:25:36 --> 00:25:39
			And there have been cases where atheists

00:25:40 --> 00:25:42
			when they're on the brink of destruction,

00:25:44 --> 00:25:45
			and they think that's it, I'm gonna die.

00:25:47 --> 00:25:50
			They do call out to Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:25:52 --> 00:25:54
			What is it? Where does that come from?

00:25:56 --> 00:25:57
			That comes from the theater.

00:25:59 --> 00:26:08
			And so we turn to Allah subhanho wa Taala in such situations, because there's something deep down
inside us,

00:26:10 --> 00:26:17
			ingrained inside every single human being telling us that there does not exist any power.

00:26:19 --> 00:26:23
			For me, that's it, I have no power to save myself.

00:26:24 --> 00:26:26
			But there is a power that can save me.

00:26:28 --> 00:26:28
			And that power

00:26:30 --> 00:26:31
			is the power beyond

00:26:33 --> 00:26:36
			this universe beyond this created universe,

00:26:37 --> 00:26:43
			who created it in the first place? And that is the power of Allah Subhana. Who, what data.

00:26:46 --> 00:26:48
			And so these are the evidences for the fifth row.

00:26:50 --> 00:26:59
			Besides that, there are also new studies that are proving the existence of this fitrah within us.

00:27:01 --> 00:27:02
			Even though for us,

00:27:03 --> 00:27:09
			we don't really we're not really concerned, whether there is

00:27:11 --> 00:27:14
			scientific research, to prove our beliefs or not.

00:27:16 --> 00:27:22
			Because as we will discuss later on, when we look at the nature of evidence,

00:27:24 --> 00:27:30
			when we look at what constitutes evidence, and what doesn't, we're going to talk about this later
on.

00:27:32 --> 00:27:34
			When we talk about that, you're going to see that

00:27:40 --> 00:27:41
			the realm of science

00:27:43 --> 00:27:50
			is has its own, has its own realm and its own scope that it that it deals with.

00:27:52 --> 00:27:53
			And as for

00:27:55 --> 00:27:56
			the realm of religion,

00:27:58 --> 00:28:00
			then it has its own set of evidences.

00:28:03 --> 00:28:04
			And so

00:28:05 --> 00:28:07
			scientific evidence is for what

00:28:08 --> 00:28:13
			it's for, what we human beings can sense and observe.

00:28:16 --> 00:28:22
			A loss of Hannah who went to Hannah is not part of that observable universe.

00:28:24 --> 00:28:27
			So scientific evidence automatically,

00:28:28 --> 00:28:36
			you know, is out of the equation here. And we're going to talk about that more in detail when we
come to it. But the point is, that

00:28:37 --> 00:28:38
			there is

00:28:40 --> 00:28:41
			research today

00:28:42 --> 00:28:43
			that proves that

00:28:45 --> 00:28:47
			the natural position of human beings is

00:28:48 --> 00:28:51
			to believe in the existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:28:52 --> 00:28:54
			And so there's a book written by

00:28:56 --> 00:28:58
			a professor by the name of Justin Barrett

00:29:00 --> 00:29:02
			called born believers,

00:29:04 --> 00:29:11
			the science of children's religious belief. And so he looked at the behavior and claims of children.

00:29:12 --> 00:29:21
			And what he found is that children believed in something called a natural religion.

00:29:23 --> 00:29:31
			And so this is the idea that there is a personal or a being that created the entire universe.

00:29:32 --> 00:29:37
			And that being obviously cannot be a human being, but rather, it must be

00:29:39 --> 00:29:44
			someone divine, someone supernatural, and he says in this book that if you were to leave

00:29:45 --> 00:29:48
			children on an island, to grow up,

00:29:50 --> 00:29:58
			just leave them without any external factors, changing their beliefs, they would grow up believing
in the existence of a creator

00:29:59 --> 00:29:59
			and their

00:30:00 --> 00:30:02
			existence of Allah subhanahu wa.

00:30:05 --> 00:30:07
			And so if this was the case

00:30:09 --> 00:30:14
			that the fitrah is something real

00:30:16 --> 00:30:21
			and it's something that is embedded within us human beings,

00:30:22 --> 00:30:28
			then why do we have people who are denying the existence of Allah subhana wa tada

00:30:30 --> 00:30:33
			if this fitrah is real,

00:30:35 --> 00:30:41
			and it's something that can be proven, and it's something that Allah has spoken about in the Quran,
and we believe it,

00:30:42 --> 00:30:43
			then why

00:30:45 --> 00:30:51
			do people exist? who deny the existence of Allah? subhanho? wa Taala?

00:30:52 --> 00:30:55
			Or even the machico? And why do they not worship Allah alone?

00:30:58 --> 00:31:03
			Why do people? Why do people adopt other religions?

00:31:05 --> 00:31:06
			The answer is in that Hadith.

00:31:08 --> 00:31:10
			What did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam say?

00:31:12 --> 00:31:16
			He said that every single one of us is born upon the fifth row of Islam.

00:31:17 --> 00:31:19
			But then it is a parents

00:31:20 --> 00:31:21
			who make him into

00:31:23 --> 00:31:24
			a Christian or a Jew or whatever.

00:31:27 --> 00:31:31
			So basically, the answer is because the fifth route can become veiled.

00:31:33 --> 00:31:40
			It can become spoiled, it can become clouded by what, by external factors,

00:31:42 --> 00:31:47
			certain things that basically cause that fitpro to become derailed,

00:31:50 --> 00:31:54
			to become veiled, to become obscure.

00:31:56 --> 00:31:59
			And so this can include, as we see in the Hadeeth, parenting,

00:32:00 --> 00:32:04
			or society, or peer pressure,

00:32:06 --> 00:32:08
			or whatever a person reads,

00:32:09 --> 00:32:11
			whatever he's exposed to.

00:32:12 --> 00:32:19
			And so we're exposed to different things. We're exposed to different beliefs. Whatever we are
exposed to

00:32:20 --> 00:32:28
			this, it grows and then it clouds that fitrah it veils that fitrah.

00:32:29 --> 00:32:29
			And so

00:32:31 --> 00:32:46
			that cloudiness that veil, it causes a person to no longer acknowledge the loss of Hannah Horta or
to no longer acknowledge that Allah alone deserves to be worshipped without any partners.

00:32:47 --> 00:32:55
			And even taymiyah. He mentions that when the natural state and the fitrah of someone is altered,

00:32:57 --> 00:33:00
			that the person It is here that he may need now.

00:33:01 --> 00:33:09
			Some other evidences, some other proofs for the existence of a loss of Hannah, who, what.

00:33:11 --> 00:33:16
			And so this brings us back to the point we mentioned earlier, that we don't really need

00:33:19 --> 00:33:22
			evidence or proof for a lot of existence.

00:33:26 --> 00:33:30
			But when people's fitrah becomes changed,

00:33:31 --> 00:33:38
			when it becomes veiled, when it becomes obscure, cloudy, like it has today for so many people.

00:33:39 --> 00:33:42
			This is now when we need to

00:33:44 --> 00:33:46
			give them other evidences.

00:33:47 --> 00:33:50
			But even that it should be understood that

00:33:52 --> 00:33:59
			not everyone is the same. And we talked about this in the very, very first class. We said that
today's wave of

00:34:00 --> 00:34:02
			doubts concerning Islam,

00:34:04 --> 00:34:07
			what are the characteristics of it, is that

00:34:08 --> 00:34:13
			the people being affected are being affected for two different reasons.

00:34:14 --> 00:34:17
			One is a genuine belief,

00:34:19 --> 00:34:20
			a genuine

00:34:21 --> 00:34:22
			understanding

00:34:25 --> 00:34:26
			of seeking the truth.

00:34:28 --> 00:34:31
			And so some people, they think this is where the evidence is leading.

00:34:32 --> 00:34:35
			And so they've studied and examined the evidences.

00:34:36 --> 00:34:46
			And they said that it seems that you know, this is stronger in evidence. So that's one group of
people, the other group of people and so this first group of people,

00:34:47 --> 00:34:51
			it is for these people, where we need now other evidences.

00:34:52 --> 00:34:56
			It is for these people, where we now need other evidences

00:34:57 --> 00:35:00
			to prove to them that existence

00:35:00 --> 00:35:00
			Loss of

00:35:02 --> 00:35:07
			the other group are those who don't really have a genuine belief.

00:35:09 --> 00:35:13
			And as we mentioned earlier, it wasn't the evidence

00:35:14 --> 00:35:16
			that led them to where they are.

00:35:17 --> 00:35:20
			But rather, it was personal issues.

00:35:21 --> 00:35:24
			It was certain experiences

00:35:26 --> 00:35:31
			that led them to deny Allah subhanho wa Taala. For some of them,

00:35:33 --> 00:35:34
			it was the burden

00:35:35 --> 00:35:37
			of the guilt of sins.

00:35:41 --> 00:35:44
			They're so attached to their life of sin.

00:35:48 --> 00:35:52
			And they're feeling guilty for it. And they're told that you have to be guilty.

00:35:54 --> 00:35:56
			And so to find a way out,

00:35:57 --> 00:36:00
			they say, let me just deny the the truth of religion.

00:36:02 --> 00:36:09
			And let me just deny the existence of Allah, I won't have to be guilty anymore. And this is the case
for many people.

00:36:11 --> 00:36:24
			For many among our youth, this is what leads them down the path of atheism, or to start doubting the
existence of Allah subhanahu wa Tada. The point is, for this group of people,

00:36:26 --> 00:36:29
			no set of evidences will change.

00:36:32 --> 00:36:36
			For these people, if you give them 1000 evidences,

00:36:37 --> 00:36:42
			they won't change Why? Because it wasn't evidence that led them down this path,

00:36:43 --> 00:36:45
			but rather it was something else

00:36:46 --> 00:36:48
			and so forth such people

00:36:49 --> 00:36:51
			you need to treat them in a different way.

00:36:54 --> 00:36:58
			Yes, their fifth row has become veiled. But by something else,

00:37:00 --> 00:37:06
			their fifth row has become veiled and derailed because of their Shadow Work.

00:37:07 --> 00:37:12
			Because of their lustful desires, not because of shoe hats,

00:37:14 --> 00:37:16
			not because of delts.

00:37:17 --> 00:37:21
			And so, each group of people needs to be dealt with, respectively.

00:37:23 --> 00:37:24
			And so, even taymiyah says,

00:37:26 --> 00:37:29
			concerning someone whose fitrah has become altered,

00:37:31 --> 00:37:40
			and how for such people we need to give them other evidences for the existence of Allah, He says,
affirmation of a creator and His perfection

00:37:42 --> 00:37:46
			is innate. It's from the fifth row and it is necessary

00:37:47 --> 00:37:48
			with respect to one

00:37:50 --> 00:37:52
			whose fifth row remains intact.

00:37:54 --> 00:38:00
			Even though alongside such an affirmation, it has many other evidences for it as well.

00:38:02 --> 00:38:11
			And often when the fitrah is altered, many people may be in need of other such evidences.

00:38:12 --> 00:38:24
			So, when the fitrah becomes altered, when it becomes veiled when it becomes obscured, this is now
when we, when we say okay, here are the other proofs for the existence of a loss of Hannah who what.

00:38:26 --> 00:38:27
			And so that brings us

00:38:28 --> 00:38:33
			that brings us to the next two evidences for existence.

00:38:36 --> 00:38:37
			And both of these

00:38:38 --> 00:38:41
			are based on rationality

00:38:43 --> 00:38:46
			or our human intellect.

00:38:50 --> 00:38:55
			And so, after the fifth row, we have human logic

00:38:57 --> 00:38:59
			allows you to prove

00:39:01 --> 00:39:02
			allows existence.

00:39:04 --> 00:39:07
			However, we need to understand here that

00:39:08 --> 00:39:12
			rational arguments and the human intellect our alcohol

00:39:15 --> 00:39:15
			Firstly,

00:39:17 --> 00:39:19
			it is not independent.

00:39:21 --> 00:39:24
			We don't use it independently on its own.

00:39:28 --> 00:39:29
			To find evidences,

00:39:30 --> 00:39:33
			whether it be for the existence of Allah or anything else.

00:39:36 --> 00:39:38
			The human intellect in and of itself.

00:39:40 --> 00:39:42
			We don't use it on its own independently

00:39:45 --> 00:39:50
			to give us proof for anything concerning Allah subhanho wa Taala or this deal,

00:39:51 --> 00:39:52
			but rather,

00:39:53 --> 00:39:57
			whatever logical, rational arguments we have

00:39:59 --> 00:40:00
			there based on what our

00:40:00 --> 00:40:01
			law has already told us

00:40:03 --> 00:40:09
			and we're going to see that as we cover these two, the next two proofs for a lot of existence.

00:40:11 --> 00:40:14
			Also, the second point is

00:40:15 --> 00:40:18
			that rational arguments they have to conform with,

00:40:19 --> 00:40:21
			with our Islamic athletes.

00:40:25 --> 00:40:27
			And so whatever rational arguments that we bring forward,

00:40:29 --> 00:40:30
			they should not

00:40:31 --> 00:40:35
			adopt premises that contradict Islamic athletes.

00:40:39 --> 00:40:47
			And it is from this perspective, that it is important to know that belief in Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:40:48 --> 00:40:58
			is not inferred from some kind of inductive or deductive or philosophical or scientific evidence,

00:41:02 --> 00:41:04
			even though there are people who do take that path.

00:41:10 --> 00:41:11
			And so for us

00:41:13 --> 00:41:18
			illogical existence doesn't come from an independent research using human logic

00:41:20 --> 00:41:22
			where we, you know,

00:41:24 --> 00:41:28
			have a whole bunch of arguments that are philosophical in nature

00:41:30 --> 00:41:36
			without any guidance from what Allah subhanahu wa tada has revealed.

00:41:38 --> 00:41:48
			And so, the whole purpose, the whole purpose of these rational arguments is that they act as a
trigger

00:41:49 --> 00:41:50
			to wake up the fitrah

00:41:52 --> 00:41:53
			that's the only purpose of them

00:41:54 --> 00:41:59
			the only purpose of these rational arguments and using the alcohol

00:42:00 --> 00:42:12
			and common sense and simple human logic is to trigger to wake up that fitrah. So that it believes in
Allah subhanahu wa tada and his existence.

00:42:15 --> 00:42:27
			And so, we have many rational arguments that we can use. And there are many logical arguments that
different scholars have mentioned,

00:42:28 --> 00:42:31
			to prove the existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:42:32 --> 00:42:42
			But, what we will be mainly using are two main evidences that

00:42:43 --> 00:42:46
			we have many many proofs for from the Quran

00:42:47 --> 00:42:49
			that Allah subhanahu wa tada has mentioned,

00:42:51 --> 00:42:55
			and both of these are considered as logical

00:42:56 --> 00:42:59
			arguments or rational arguments.

00:43:04 --> 00:43:07
			And these two proofs are also the most widely used,

00:43:08 --> 00:43:10
			they are the most widely used

00:43:12 --> 00:43:12
			and

00:43:13 --> 00:43:18
			because of lack of time will not allow to begin on them next week. But basically,

00:43:20 --> 00:43:23
			In brief, the first of these proofs is

00:43:25 --> 00:43:27
			creation and existence,

00:43:28 --> 00:43:30
			which is known as a local eg ad

00:43:32 --> 00:43:36
			creation and basically coming into existence,

00:43:39 --> 00:43:41
			coming into existence.

00:43:43 --> 00:43:44
			And so, in brief,

00:43:45 --> 00:43:54
			what this proof states is, that nothing can come into existence except by a cause bringing it into
existence.

00:43:56 --> 00:44:04
			Nothing can come into existence, except by a cause, to cause it to come into existence.

00:44:05 --> 00:44:08
			The second of these proofs is

00:44:10 --> 00:44:12
			precision and perfection,

00:44:14 --> 00:44:17
			precision and perfection.

00:44:19 --> 00:44:21
			And so, if you were to look at

00:44:22 --> 00:44:26
			everything in this creation,

00:44:28 --> 00:44:36
			whether it be in the heavens above, or whether it be in living beings,

00:44:37 --> 00:44:39
			we will find a certain

00:44:41 --> 00:44:42
			precision

00:44:43 --> 00:44:46
			and perfect system in place.

00:44:49 --> 00:44:50
			Where,

00:44:51 --> 00:44:55
			if this perfection was to be changed slightly

00:44:57 --> 00:44:58
			by

00:45:00 --> 00:45:02
			amount so small that it can even be calculated

00:45:04 --> 00:45:13
			that it wouldn't cause it would basically cause it would basically cause this universe to collapse
number one. And number two,

00:45:15 --> 00:45:17
			it would cause life on earth to be impossible.

00:45:19 --> 00:45:21
			And so in brief, these are the two

00:45:23 --> 00:45:25
			proofs from the article

00:45:26 --> 00:45:33
			from rationality, and logic that we'll be looking at in detail. Next week be delighted.

00:45:35 --> 00:45:48
			So, so far, we've covered the first proof for a law's existence and that is the fitrah. And next
week, we'll cover the next two proofs, creation and existence and

00:45:50 --> 00:45:52
			precision and perfection.

00:45:54 --> 00:45:55
			So, are there any questions

00:45:57 --> 00:46:01
			concerning what we have covered? so far?

00:46:47 --> 00:46:54
			Because basically, we mentioned certain self evident truths, like you know, this world exists for
example,

00:46:56 --> 00:46:59
			and other self evident truths, right.

00:47:00 --> 00:47:01
			So,

00:47:03 --> 00:47:06
			the existence of Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:47:07 --> 00:47:11
			also comes comes under that category, how does it not?

00:47:13 --> 00:47:13
			How does it not?

00:47:52 --> 00:47:54
			Like I said, when we talk about

00:47:56 --> 00:47:59
			evidence and what constitutes evidence and epistemology,

00:48:01 --> 00:48:07
			that is when it will become clear, because, what do we consider as being evidence

00:48:08 --> 00:48:17
			for the Earth's existence for example, we have material evidence for right, what we human beings
consensus and perceive and observe

00:48:19 --> 00:48:20
			for other truths,

00:48:21 --> 00:48:22
			there are other evidences

00:48:23 --> 00:48:31
			that are not material in nature, that are not observable in nature. So, that is what I actually
meant when I said

00:48:33 --> 00:48:40
			the existence of a law is self evident. I didn't mean scientific evidence

00:48:41 --> 00:48:42
			or material evidence,

00:48:43 --> 00:48:51
			because if that was the case, then obviously our entire you know, our entire argument drops.

00:48:53 --> 00:48:59
			But when we talk about that in sha Allah, when we talk about what constitutes evidence,

00:49:01 --> 00:49:06
			what is our approach to epistemology?

00:49:07 --> 00:49:11
			Then it will become a bit more clear inshallah, hopefully, inshallah.

00:49:16 --> 00:49:18
			Are there any other questions?

00:49:33 --> 00:49:38
			Okay, inshallah we'll conclude here for today in sha Allah, and like I said, next week, we'll move
on to

00:49:39 --> 00:49:48
			the next two proofs. Until then subhanak alone will be handed. A shadow La Ilaha Illa and still
fuuka were two way
