Rahman Al Rahim Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil Alameen wa Salatu was Salam ala at a man in a Camilla Ania Allah, Allah He engineering for Allah allergy or Swahili he woman Woman Debbie heavy was sending me Suniti he told me Dean
Allahumma aluminum is gonna winter. I know Vina alum Turner was in

wa sallahu Wa alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Last week we went through
a few names of Allah subhanho wa taala, already related to
his generosity and and him giving.
And we mentioned in the beginning of Ramadan, that we will go through Names of Allah subhanho wa Taala that are related
specifically to the month of Ramadan.
So today in sha Allah hota hai Allah we have
names of Allah, that are related to his forgiveness
related to him forgiving and pardoning, etc
and so the four names that we have today
are
alpha for
alpha
and last Laffel and the web
of a food of afar Laffel and the web
and so a food is a name of Allah Allah has been mentioned quite frequently in the Quran.
And so it has been mentioned
approximately 90 times
and most times, combined with Allah's name or Rahim throughout the Quran we hear another for Rahim
and so for example loss of Hannah who Italia says he barely a knee and another photo Rafi
inform my servants that I am Aloha food and a right
as for a love afar
then this name has only been mentioned five times in the Quran. It has been made or it has been mentioned five times in the Quran.
And so for example, Allah subhanahu Allah says in surah Taha
we're in need of 1000 Lehmann Tada we're gonna we're amulet saw the handsome Tada. We're in Need Love afar. Indeed I am as afar for the one who repents and believes and does good deeds and then persists upon true guidance.
And Allah subhanho wa Taala says in Surah Nua
when new hallelujah Salam is
you know, complaining to Allah about his people not believing.
He says for call to steal Pharaoh robber come in who can have a foul rah you know who Cana was a pharaoh? No Hello Islam says and I said to them to my people seek forgiveness from Allah Indeed he is of a far indeed he is of a far as for Apple.
It has been mentioned also five times in the Quran.
Four of these five times it is mentioned with
four of these five times it is mentioned with awful
it is mentioned with our food and our food and our food. So for example in Surah Nisa, Allah subhanahu Attallah says that without you care is Allah Who are you? Yeah, for whom?
What kind of well who I for one of our fora okay and Allah who I for one was awful Ron.
And once it has been mentioned with Kadir
and so in Surah Janessa as well Allah subhanho wa Taala says in to do Hi Ron L to hoo hoo, otaku and Xuxa in Allah Hi, Karina. I for one Khedira
What does Khedira mean? It means the one who is most capable, the one who has ability he has capability He has power.
So what's the wisdom behind a war combining between a rifle
and Kadir?
Before we understand unlawful, unlawful can allow for one of our fora it's related to forgiveness.
But what does forgiveness have to do with
capability or ability?
The wisdom behind Allah mentioning these two names together is that
forgiving and pardoning is only praiseworthy when it comes from someone who has
the ability to punish and the ability to take revenge. But he doesn't. Instead, He pardons
Instead, He pardons and he forgives.
So Allah subhanho wa Taala His forgiveness comes from.
It comes from the fact that he is all capable.
He is all capable of punishing
and so it's not because he forgives because he is unable.
Some people they may forgive people because, you know, they don't have the ability to take revenge. They're not as powerful.
So they say I'll forgive you.
That's not the case with Allah subhanho wa taala. And so, Allah is perfect in him forgiving, and he is perfect in his power, his ability, and he is perfect in his forgiving while while being capable of punishing.
Also awful is a name that was mentioned by the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
In the Hadith when I showed all the Allahu Anhu asked,
or messenger of ALLAH,
if I happen to be
praying and be in the data of Allah on Laylatul Qadr
then what do How should I make to Allah so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,
there say this dua, Allahu Allah Inaka a full word to help build Alpha Phi Alpha honey, Oh Allah, you are a fool.
Which means the one who pardons
and you love partying?
Therefore, pardon me.
So this is a life who asked for a web to web. It has been mentioned 11 times in the Quran.
And out of these 11 times, nine times it has been mentioned with Rahim
nine times it has been mentioned with Rahim and once it has been mentioned with Hakeem.
And once it has been mentioned on its own
without being mentioned with another name.
Where is that to worship?
It's a surah that all of us have memorized
the web on its own.
Without any other name.
In the who cannot
know character web Surah Nasir in Ocala to weather.
So these are
these are the names
of for afar, Alaska. And
now what do these names what do they need? What do they need each one of them. They're all related to forgiveness, pardoning, overlooking,
but each has a different meaning.
So as for alpha four, and alpha, they come from the same root word of Allah.
They come from the same root word in the Arabic language of ALLAH Farah, which means to cover in the Arabic language will offer a means to cover
to conceal
to vil to hide.
And so there's something called a middle third, which is the helmet or the shield
that the warrior wears on his head to protect himself. It's called middle four. Because it hides him.
It protects him. It covers him.
And so in the context of Allah subhanho wa Taala food and so far means the one who covers our sins, the one who conceals and hides our sin.
As for the difference between the food and refer, then refer means the one who is the most forgiving
for food is the one who forgives. And how far is is the one who
Who forgives the most, he is constantly forgiving. There is no one who forgives more than him
and stole the federal law. When we say a stole federal law, it comes from the same
from the same meaning of over food.
And so when you say a stellar federal law, you are basically asking Allah subhanho wa Taala
to forgive you,
Oh Allah, I seek your forgiveness, Oh ALLAH forgive me, hide my faults,
protect me from my faults, conceal my faults, etc.
So, this is the meaning of before and as far as for LFO
it means to party.
So while a food means forgiving, or concealing our sins LFO indicates complete removal of the sin
LFO means complete removal of the sin and the condition in which you are in when you are sending such that there is no consequence after that.
completely eliminating the sin and all of its traces.
That's the difference between food and hassle.
So as who don't who pardons means, the one who completely erases the sin and any trace of it.
And so this is why
this is why there is no more punishment after that. This is why there is no more punishment after that, because Allah has completely removed
completely remove the sin and any of its traces.
And in human terms are awful. A term that is used
is amnesty.
For example,
there's a leader of a country, he says, I'm gonna offer a general amnesty for all criminals behind bars. They're all free to go, I've forgiven them all. I've pardoned them all.
This is the meaning of a laugh.
As we're at the lab, it comes from the root word of tilde and tilde, which means to return
to come back and to repent. And so
when you make tell that when you repent to Allah, what are you doing, you're basically coming back to Allah, you are returning. There came a time when you became negligent of Allah, and you committed sins and you forgot about Allah. And then once you realize your mistake, you are now coming back to Allah.
That's the meaning of toga.
As in the example of Adam it his Salam.
When he committed his sin, Allah mentions in his story, that he returned tab, he returned to Allah.
And so to Webb means the one who accepts the Toba of the repenting person.
Allah being a to lab means that he is accepting their repentance their Toba but the fact that Allah uses tel lab
indicates that he not only accepts the repentance, but He is constantly accepting the repentance.
From one individual until his death, how many times is he constantly accepting that person's repentance? And this is just one person. So how about the 1000s of the millions of people
who are constantly going back to Allah and repenting from their sins? So this is why Allah refers to himself as a to whap.
So what do these names of Allah teach us? First of all,
Allah subhanahu Attallah in and of itself, in and of himself, he is described by these names
in an oven of himself, he is on her for another far a laughable and utter web. It's because of who he is that he forgives, and he overlooks
not because
of some external
influence,
like in the case of human beings, sometimes you may forgive someone and pardon him
because of other people who are constantly insisting on you.
Forgive him, let him go. And they're constantly on your case. And so you forgive him because of that.
Allah subhanho wa Taala in and of himself.
He is the all forgiving, not because of anyone else, not because anyone is making him to,
to forgive. And that's why
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said,
By Allah
by Allah, the one in whose hand my soul is, if you were not to commit sins,
if you are a people who did not commit sins like the angels,
then Allah subhanho wa Taala would replace you.
He would get rid of you
and replace you with the people who would commit sins and then seek forgiveness from Allah.
And then seek forgiveness from Allah and Allah would forgive them,
showing us work
that Allah subhanho wa Taala He is described as one who forgives because of who he is not because
not because of the people, not because someone is making him to forgive. Secondly,
the second lesson that we learned from these names, is that our shortcomings and our transgressions against Allah subhanho wa taala.
They necessitate that Allah punish us.
Our sins, deserve punishment.
But Allah subhanho wa Taala lets us go.
We deserve all kinds of punishments, not just punishments, but removal of blessings.
Allah Subhan Allah to Allah created us and constantly provides for us.
And yet we sin and we transgress and we disobey him.
If he wants, he doesn't have to give us
but he still gives us
and he doesn't punish us.
And Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions this in the Quran. Whenever you ask you, the Allahu Nasser Dena kessa boo,
na Taraka, Allah wa Haley, having done that,
if Allah were to punish people for what they have committed of sins, He will not have left a single living creature on the face of the earth.
Meaning that the justice of Allah means that he punished us, he doesn't let us go in this dunya we're not talking about the Acharya. Right now we're still talking about the dunya.
Because of our sins, we deserve the punishment of Allah. And that's why Allah says here, if he was to punish us for what we do, he wouldn't leave anyone on the earth. He would have destroyed us long time ago. While I can you agree Romila agilely Musala. But he delays them. He DELETES THEM for an appointed term.
He gives us chances, He's given us time. And then once that time comes that it then he will punish us.
And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam also says that if Allah were to punish the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth,
he would do so. And he would not be unjust in doing so.
He will not be unjust in doing so.
Meaning that everyone there's not a single human being.
Who doesn't deserve Allah's punishment, even the righteous
for what? For their shortcomings. Maybe they don't have that many sins but they are not worshipping Allah in the manner that Allah commanded them to do so.
We all deserve to be punished. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says, if Allah were to punish the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, he would do so and he would not be unjust in doing so.
He would be completely
he would be completely just in doing that.
And if he were to have mercy on them, His mercy would be better for them than their own deeds.
Thirdly, these names of Allah subhanho wa Taala also indicate that
He only forgives and pardons
that he not only forgives and pardons, but
he completely erases any ill effects of those sins.
And so contrary to human beings, who when they part in one in
Other,
they may still have ill feelings within them
the trace of that crime of that,
of that injustice that was done to them, even after they have pardoned even after they have forgiven, it still remains within them.
Obviously, Islam teaches us not to hold such feelings,
not to hold such grudges within us.
But it's natural. It's part of our human nature.
Allah subhanho wa Taala is not like that.
When Allah forgives when Allah pardons, he completely obliterates and eliminates the sin and all of its traces all of its ill effects, leaving nothing behind.
And we can see that in the example of
a person who accepts Islam, what does the Prophet salAllahu alayhi wasallam say about the one who accepts Islam, all of his previous sins are forgiven
as if
he is coming out of the womb of his mother for the first time, without a single sin.
And so we find in a hadith, in Hadith Kotze, where Allah subhanho wa Taala is speaking.
Allah subhanho wa Taala says,
Oh, son of Adam,
I forgive you, as long as you pray to Me, and hope for my forgiveness. Whatever sins you have committed,
oh son of Adam, I do not care if your sins reached the height of the heavens, then you asked for my forgiveness. I will certainly forgive you, Oh, son of Adam, if you come to me, with an earth load of sins, while meeting me coming to me on the day of judgment without associating any partners with me without committing shirk, then I will match it. I will match that Earth load of sins with an earth load of forgiveness.
So this is the forgiveness of Allah subhanho wa taala.
Completely erasing the sins and getting rid of any trace of it.
The fourth lesson that we learn
is
that there is no limit
to the forgiveness of Allah subhanahu wa.
There is nothing too grave too serious for Allah to not forgive.
And so no matter how grave your sins, no matter how humongous they are, no matter how many times you repeated the same sin
do not forget that Allah subhanho wa Taala
there is no sin that he cannot forgive.
And so Allah subhanho wa Taala reminds us of this when he says Kalia either the lady in a surah fu Allah and fusi him
all my servants who have transgressed against their own souls.
Last takanobu Rahmatullah. Do not despair.
In the Mercy of Allah, do not give up hope in the Mercy of Allah. In Allah years, if you don't do that, Jamie, indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Allah did not make any exception here. Allah forgives all sins, in the who who will have a food or right
except that there is one sin that ALLAH does not forgive, which sin is a
check.
But even that,
even that is only if you die upon that.
Meaning that Allah does forgive Sheikh while we're still alive, and we ask His forgiveness for it.
Otherwise,
no mushrik who accepts Islam would be forgiven.
But on the day of judgment, once a person dies and he has not, he has not sought forgiveness for schicke
then he will not be forgiven by then he will not be forgiven by Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah mentions this in Surah Teresa, when he says in the Allahu Allah He was a funeral and you should rock heavy oil if you don't I do and radically Masha Allah does not forgive associating partners with him schicke but he forgive
Beyond that, besides that for whomever he wills
so what this means is in the app era, ALLAH does not forgive, committing shirk. But otherwise all other sins Allah subhanahu Attallah will forgive, meaning that a believer and workmen, a Muslim who comes on the Day of Judgment,
having not associated any partners with Allah not committed any shit.
If he had sins that he did not repent from, there is still the chance that Allah will forgive him.
There is still the chance that Allah will forgive him. He is under the will of Allah.
As long as he died as an admin,
and not associating any partners with Allah, we say he died as a believer, and his case rests with Allah. We don't say that he is destined for the Hellfire for sure.
We say it is feared that he will end up in the Hellfire because he was a wicked person. He was a murderer. He committed all these major sins, and He did not he did not ask Allah to forgive him. It is feared that he will end up in hellfire. But we don't say for certain. We say his case rests with Allah. Why? Because he did not commit ship. He did not commit ship.
The fifth lesson that we learned from these names
is that not only has Allah subhanaw taala commanded us to seek his forgiveness and to repent to Him, but it is something that he wants, and it's something that he desires, and it is something that he loves. As indicated in the Hadith that we mentioned
Allahumma indica, if you want to hit Bulleh, for faster Honey, what a great dua that we should all have memorized by now. And we should be saying this dua in these last 10 Nights, especially when we are in sujood.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says Accra now you're Kunal Abdullah Robbie Wahoo, Sajid, the closest that the serving gets to his Lord is when he is Institute.
And so as we mentioned, in that hadith I showed all the Allahu anha asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam what to do, how should I say, if it happens to be later to Carter, and he instructed her to say this to her?
Oh Allah.
You are
the one who partners to hit bull afro, and you love pardoning.
It's not just that Allah is the One who pardons and the one who forgives, but he actually loves it.
He actually
desires it. He wants to forgive us. He loves forgiving us,
for her for and neither for forgive me.
This is also indicated in a very profound Hadith, in which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam describes
the joy of Allah subhanho wa Taala when one of us
turns to him in repentance, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said
that Allah is more joyful,
at the repentance of someone when he turns to him in repentance. Then one of you if you were riding your camel in the desert,
in the wilderness,
and suddenly it runs away from you.
So you may have stopped for some rest for a nap. And you wake up and you find that your camo has left.
And it was your only means of transportation, and now you're stuck in the desert.
Your camel also had all of your belongings,
your food, your drink, everything was with him. And now
you have nothing.
And so, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says, he loses all hope and getting it back. And then he comes to a tree. And he lies down in its in its shade. And he says, I'm just going to wait here for depth.
When all of a sudden, out of nowhere.
I don't know where his his camels suddenly appears before him.
And so out of sudden joy,
he says, Oh Allah, you are my servant, and I am your Rob, by mere Lord. It's a slip of the tongue. He says it out of extreme joy.
So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says his mistake comes from intense from intentionally. Now the question is
What is so special
about the one who repents that he earns this level of joy from Allah subhanho wa taala.
Basically
when we commit sins we commit sins because we forget about Allah subhanho wa Taala we forget about the punishment of Allah.
We end up in a state of love in a state of heedlessness negligence.
Shaitan. deludes us the dunya attracts us
and our knifes desires to fulfill its pleasures.
And so in this state, we forget about Allah subhanho wa taala.
So once we realize our mistake,
and we turn to Allah in repentance, we are coming back to Allah, we are returning to Allah. So why would he not be joyful?
Why would Allah not be joyful? If someone is coming back to him?
After becoming lost?
After becoming lost, and forgetting about Allah and then finding your way back to Allah? Why would Allah not be joyful?
And so these names of Allah, they teach us that not only does Allah forgive, but he loves to do that. And he is joyful when one of us turns to him in repentance.
The sixth lesson that we learned from these names is that one should never fall into despair, and should never give up hope. No matter how many times you sin.
Don't abandon don't give up seeking Allah's forgiveness. Don't say that this is a sin.
I am constantly committing.
And
every time I do it, I turn that to Allah and repentance. But what's the point?
And then you give up
and then
that sin overtakes you and it becomes your life habit.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says, in Hadith coatsy. Again,
he says that Allah subhanho wa Taala says,
a slave committed a sin. And then he said, Oh ALLAH forgive me. And Allah said, My slave committed a sin. And then he realized that he has a rub, who forgives
and punishes for the sin.
So he sought my forgiveness.
He then he then again commits a sin. And He says, Oh Allah, forgive my sin. And Allah subhanahu Attallah responds. In the same way, Allah says, My slave committed a sin, and then realize that he has a Rob who forgives
his sin and punishes for his sin. So he's taught my forgiveness.
And then again,
the slave he commits the same and he says the same thing, and Allah subhanahu Ana says the same thing.
Finally, in the end, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, I have granted forgiveness to my slave.
I have granted forgiveness to him. So let him do whatever he likes, let him do whatever he likes. What does this mean? Let him do whatever he wants. It doesn't mean now he's free, let him indulge in the sin, no the opposite.
This person is committing a sin. And He is constantly going back to Allah, as long as he is in this state, in this continuous cycle, then let him do whatever he wants.
As long as he is constantly coming back to me,
as long as he is constantly coming back to me, not a justification for committing sins, no. And that brings us to the next point,
that Allah subhanho wa taala, although he is the author Forgiving, the Most Merciful, it does not mean that we should use this as justification for persisting in committing sins. And so there are people out there
you come to them and you tell them, you should not do this.
It's haram and they say Allah is the all forgiving Allah is the All Merciful.
And so they use these names of Allah as justification for persisting in sin. But what does Allah subhanahu Attallah tell us in the Quran,
Allah has told us that he is the author giving the he is the all merciful. But on many occasions, when Allah mentions that he follows it up
By speaking about his punishment
and so for example, we mentioned the IRA. Now, are you bad the N ni Anila Fuhrer, Rafi.
And then what does Allah say? What Ernie will neither be who will right after that. One now Diaby, who will addable Allah says, Hey, Daddy, I need to
inform my servants, that I am indeed another four and Rahim. But right after that in the next area, and inform them, that My punishment is indeed a severe punishment.
And so, on more than one occasion, Allah subhanahu Attallah does this why?
As a refutation of those who will try to justify the forgiveness of Allah for their sins.
Finally, in the last lesson,
that we can mention,
we should not we should do those things we should aim to do those things that enable us to be forgiven by Allah.
And so,
obviously, we should be asking Allah for forgiveness, and especially in these in these last 10 Nights.
But besides seeking forgiveness from Allah in dua, and in vicar Besides that, there are certain things that we can do
to have our sins forgiven by Allah subhanho wa taala.
Such as doing good deeds.
And so Allah subhanho wa Taala says, in Al Hassan RT, you'd Hibben us a year.
The good deeds, cause evil deeds to go away.
Good deeds cause sins to be erased. So among the means of having our sins forgiven is to do good deeds. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Well, to be a Seattle has an attempt to
follow up a scene with a good deed, it'll erase the sin.
So for example, let's say you committed a certain sin.
Go right after that and give sadaqa it will completely erase that sin.
It will completely erase that sin and its effect.
And so
doing good deeds is among the among the ways of having our sins forgiven by Allah subhanho wa taala. Also,
also,
pardoning others forgiving others.
When you show certain good qualities, Allah subhanho wa Taala meets you with those same qualities.
When you forgive others, Allah forgives you.
When you cover the faults of others, Allah will cover your faults. When you help others Allah will help you. This is the Sunnah of Allah subhanho wa taala.
This is the Sunnah of Allah. How you behave with people is how Allah will behave with you. Remember this golden rule, how you behave with others, is how Allah subhanahu wa taala will behave with you.
And how you treat others is how Allah will treat you.
You treat others good and with respect Allah will treat you in the same way you treat others
in a bad way
than what you expect from Allah.
And so likewise on this topic of forgiveness, be forgiving to others and you will be met with forgiveness by Allah subhanho wa Taala where do we learn this from we learn it from the story of Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Ahad.
In the story of the if
in the story of the slander of Sharabi, Allahu Allah, when
one of his relatives one of the relatives of Abu Bakr
was involved in that slander.
And so Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Allah, he, he made an oath he made a vow, I'm going to stop giving him sadaqa because he was someone who used to give him sadaqa and he was one of his relatives.
So Allah subhanahu Italie revealed Surah to note
freeing Akshata the Allahu anha of what they accused her of, along with
an area addressing Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Ahad
the he should forgive he should pardon and to hit Boonah and your feet Allahu Allah Karim.
Allah asks, don't you want that ALLAH forgive
You don't you want that Allah pardons you? Pardon him? Forgive him?
Don't you want that Allah pardons you and forgives you.
And so when we pardoned others and we forgive others, this is among the means of having our own sins forgiven. Finally,
among the ways that we can have our sins forgiven, is by choosing those times
to ask Allah for, for forgiveness, that are special times.
And so among those special times are these last 10 nights, and that Doha that I mentioned, many times already along the in the castle when to hit will Alfa France running repeat it in your, in your Doha in your sujood in these last 10 minutes, also, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us there in the last third of every night, Allah subhanho wa Taala descends and asks, Is anyone out there who is making dua to me so that I could give him Is there anyone out there who is seeking my forgiveness, so that I may forgive him?
So the last third of every night, and this is in general, in Ramadan and outside of the month of Ramadan, it's a time
when it's an opportunity to have our sins forgiven, to ask Allah subhanho wa Taala for our needs of whoa, this about this dunya and akhira
there is no
better time to be making dua and to be asking Allah subhanahu Attallah then this time, the last third of the night, and also part of the last third of the night is a part of the night known as a Sahara.
A Sahara is that our before Fajr.
And the loss of Hannah who had to Allah praises those who seek his mother Pharaoh His forgiveness at that time.
Well, Bill as Harry whom yesterday if you rule
at the time of Sahar, they are seeking forgiveness from Allah. So if you want to know when is the best time to say I still fear Allah.
It is before Fajr and this is something that each and every single one of us we could easily be doing, especially nowadays in Ramadan. When we are already up at that time,
we're already awake at that time, but we are neglectful of this.
We're busy with our salute. And we forget that we could be asking for a lot of forgiveness from Allah subhanho wa taala. And so let us not forget this. Let us not forget these times when Allah subhanho wa taala.
He forgives us for our citizens. We ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to make us from among those who sins are forgiven, especially in these last 10 nights of the month of Ramadan. We ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to overlook our sins to help to cover our faults and our mistakes and our errors and to make us from among his servants, who are constantly turning to him in forgiveness in repentance, are Salallahu salam ala Nabina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa sallam Subhana Allah who will become the Akasha to Allah healer interstellar Yukawa to relate. Salam alaykum warahmatullahi
