Salam aleikum wa rahmatullah wa barakato Alhamdulillah wa salatu salam ala rasulillah. So today I want to talk about something that came to my mind. You know, I was reading a book recently, I noticed one of the books, I was reading about time management that the author said that once you have financial freedom and freedom of time, and once you don't have to work anymore, then you end up with a void in your life, you end up bored, not knowing what to do with your life. And you need to find ways to full time, two things to do with your life. And I found this very curious statement, because I don't think this applies to us Muslims. Now, again, this is Islamic self help with Islamic
self help we take these self help resources, and we analyze them from an Islamic perspective, see what we agree with and what we disagree with. And so this is what I'm going to do in this video. This one point about having a void in your life, if you don't have any work to do. I really don't think this is a problem for Muslims. Why? Because we have a purpose to our lives unless you have a handle with Allah created us to worship Him. And so from the very beginning, our goal in trying to attain financial freedom, freedom of time, freedom of please be able to go where we want to when we want to spend our money, how we want the whole freedom of having free time, it all should revolve
around having more time to worship Allah, being able to travel to worship Allah, or be able to spend our money in a way that's pleasing to Allah. That's really what it should revolve around. So if you ever had to reach a point in your life where you don't need to work anymore, you are 100, multi millionaire or a billionaire, whatever the case may be, if you ever had to reach that level, as a Muslim, you shouldn't be bored. Once you reach that level, you shouldn't be like, what do I do in my life? Now? It should be obvious. And if it isn't, you should take some time right now. to plan it, you should take some time right now to figure out if I ever reached that stage in life, what would I
do? Like I myself, I have a plan, I have a plan that no matter what happens, whether I stay where I am now, or go lower or protect from that or go higher, may Allah accept or whatever the case may be, I have a plan. And my plan is quite simple. I want to spend the rest of my life writing Islamic books dependence at the soma, I really wanted to write till the day I die, right no matter what age that is, it doesn't matter how much I'm earning, I'm still going to do it. Now. If I had to become financially free, if I had to not need to worry about working for money anymore, then I could spend more time doing that. That's what I'll be spending my day doing, they won't be avoided, they won't
be this whole sense of what do I do my life now I know what I want to do with my life. I want to write Islamic books. The more time I have, the more books I can write, the more I can spend researching I can actually travel to other countries and research the topics and, and write better. So there is no worry, in my case of ever having this point in my life where I have a void, because I've already set my plan for the rest of my life that this is what I want to do with my life. And if you haven't done so you need to do so you need to figure out what you want to do in my life. You know, if money wasn't a problem, if I if I didn't have to worry about working to earn money, what
would I be doing with my life, and it should be something that is pleasing to Allah subhanho wa Taala it should be something that is rewarding in this world and the next it should be something that is beneficial for the Ummah, if you can find that. And if you can commit to that. And if you can make your life plan around that, then this issue of ever reaching a point in your life where there's a void, when you are bored, where you don't know what to do with your life, this wouldn't happen. It really wouldn't happen because your life is not about money. Right? This is the big difference. You know, many of the people from a capitalist background, they look for money, they
work for money. So once they flip money, they don't know what to do with their lives. They don't know what's next. We look for Allah we work for a love. So where do we have money or not, we are still committed to the bigger goal which is pleasing Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so this is something which I want you to comment on and read on this in a book just yesterday got me thinking made me realize this is one of those many areas where Muslims differ from the rest of society in terms of how we approach it, that we are hungry that don't have a void, we have a purpose to our lives. And if we can set our goals around that purpose. No matter how much money we earn, you will
never feel a void or bored or purposeless. Rather, all of that money will go into serving that purpose. All of the money will go into pleasing lush ohana with Allah. If you look at the great people of the past equites monarch yellow anhu and Abdul Rahman even overkill on who these grapes are haba they were multimillionaires, but they never got bored because they use that money and time to worship Allah and please luscher hana with the Allah and they really should be our role models in this regard. So who just got you thinking I hope you found this beneficial. This is just one of many points regarding self help with Islamic element has to come into it. This is why I founded the
