Ikram Sanaullah – Ask and I will grant

			The Almighty mentioned in the holy Quran,
		

			Your Lord says that ask and I will
		

			grant.
		

			Now many a times we see that
		

			something has been asked for and it hasn't
		

			been granted. Well, the answer to that is
		

			found in the narration of Prophet Muhammad, peace
		

			be upon him, narrated by Abu Saeed Uturi
		

			radiAllahu ta'ala Anhu. He mentions that prophet Muhammad
		

			sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said that Allah grants
		

			a believer whatever he has to ask for,
		

			as long as what he's asking for is
		

			not related to sinning
		

			or not related to breaking ties.
		

			But there's a different way of answering.
		

			The first way is where you ask for
		

			something and Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala grants you
		

			something. The second way is where you ask
		

			for something and Allah
		

			grants you a reward for that in the
		

			year after, which we will see after we
		

			die, and we'll be thankful about it. And
		

			the third way is Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala
		

			doesn't exactly grant us what we have asked
		

			for, but
		

			he keeps us away from a certain problem
		

			or certain harm that is about to come.
		

			So these are the ways in which the
		

			almighty Allah
		

			answers our prayers.
