AI: Summary ©
Adam a.s. did not intentionally go against
Allah, but that was based on Nisyan, as
you have heard from the book of Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
And in the shariah of those people who
came before us, they don't have this kind
of concession which we have in our time.
In our time, if you did something by
mistake or out of forgetfulness, or somebody forced
you to do it, which you have no
choice, we call it in Arabic, the coercion
that you cannot defend it, you cannot stop
it, and we're talking about life and death,
life threatening situation, either you do or you
lose your life.
In our religion, you can do that which
you are commanded to do by that person
who is planning to kill you, as long
as you have iman in your heart, your
side is okay with Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala.
The case of Ammar ibn Yasir is the
best evidence to support this.
And then the scholars discussed the matter of
this concession, is it only applicable in the
Ummah of Muhammad s.a.w. or in
the previous nation also they got this privilege.
Many of the scholars said, looking at the
sunnah of the Prophet s.a.w., we
are the only nations that we are treated
in this way.
We are the only nations that Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala granted this concession.
In the past, they were not like that.
Adam, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala attributed to
him an-nisyat, forgetfulness, but he was held
responsible for what he did.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says, وَلَقَدْ عَهِدْنَا
إِلَىٰ آدَمَ مِنْ قَبْلُ فَنَسِي وَلَمْ نَجِلَّهُ عَزْمَةٌ
And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says, وَعَصَىٰ
آدَمَ رَبَّهُ فَغَوَىٰ نَسَبَ إِلَيْهِ أَنَا غِوَاٰيَ بِسَبَبِ
هَذَا So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala held
him responsible of it.
And that's one of the evidences of those
who believe that it is only the Ummah
of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam who received
this privilege.
And also in the story of Ashab al
-Kahf, you remember the one who was sent
to go and get their food after Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala brought them back to
their consciousness after sleeping for 309 years.
You know Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
وَلَبِثُوا فِي كَهْدٍ ثَلَاثَ مِئَةٍ سِنِينَ وَزْدَادُوا تِسْعَة
So after that they sent somebody to go
and look for food for them.
And they advised this person to really disguise
himself because if the people are to recognize
him he might lose his life or they
will force him to change his religion.
And they said, إِنَّهُمْ يَظْهَرُوا عَلَيْكُمْ يَرْجِمُوكُمْ أَوْ
يُعِيدُوكُمْ فِي مِلَّتِهِمْ وَلَن تُفْلِحُوا إِذَاً أَبَدَةً If
you let them get you back to their
religion by force, you will never succeed.
So they told him, if you let them
manage to take you back to their religion,
you will never succeed.
And they're going to do that by force.
That's the reason why they said, most likely
we are the only one who is receiving
this benefit and privilege.
That if somebody forced you to do something
wrong, as long as you have iman and
you did it to save your life, because
you know if you don't do it, you
might lose your life, this is what we
call, لِكَرَهَا الْمُلْجِد Then it's okay as long
as your heart is full of iman.
Rasulullah ﷺ said, رُفِعَ عَنْ أُمَّتِي My ummah,
الخَطَأَ وَالنِّسْيَانَ وَمَسْتُكُرُهُ عَلَيْهِ So back to the
story, Adam did what he did, Allah asked
him to come down to the earth.
We're not talking about Adam, so I'm just
trying to make connection.
When he came down to the earth, Allah
ﷻ blessed him with children.
From that time when he had children, ma
'asi started to emerge.
His son killed his brother, right?
This is a very famous story that we
know.
And subhanAllah, Rasulullah ﷺ said, لَا تُقْتَلُ نَفْسٌ
ظُلْمًا إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَىٰ بْنِ آدَمَ الْأَوَّلِ كِفْلٌ
مِّنْهَا There will be nobody who will be
killed unjustly in this life of ours.
SubhanAllah, I really want you to listen to
this, right?
So that you will be trying your best
to make sure that you introduce good to
the Muslim communities.
Whatever community you go, be a provider of
good.
Allah, this is the best thing for you
to leave as a legacy that people will
remember you with.
Rasulullah ﷺ said, if you introduce good to
the people, you have the reward of that
good and the reward of anyone who uses
it after you.
And if you introduce evil, you have the
sin of that evil and the sin of
whoever is imitating you in that evil.
The Prophet ﷺ said, لَا تُقْتَلُ نَفْسٌ ظُلْمًا
There will be nobody who will be killed
unjustly.
إِلَّا كَانَ عَلَىٰ بْنِ آدَمَ الْأَوَّلِ كِفْلٌ مِّنْهَا
Except that the first child of Adam ﷺ
will get a portion of that sin.
From the time of Adam ﷺ up to
this moment, how many people lost their life
unjustly?
Maybe millions.
Imagine this guy, every single person that lost
his life, this person is getting a portion
of that sin.
Subhanallah.
That's why, my dear brothers and sisters, it
is my personal advice to you, try your
best, be that Muslim that the Prophet ﷺ
wanted you to be.
Who is that Muslim that he wants us
to be?
Rasulullah ﷺ said in the hadith of Abdullah
ibn Omar, He said, إِنَّ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ شَجَرُونَ
He said, there is a tree amongst the
trees.
لَا يَسْقُطُ وَرَقُهَا The leaves of this tree
don't fall down.
He says, أَخْبِرُونِ مَا هِيَ He said, وَإِنَّهَا
مَثَلُ المُؤْمِنُ In some narration, he said, وَإِنَّهَا
شَجَرَةٍ مُبَارَكَةٍ He said, this is the example
of a believer.
He said, this is a blessed tree.
He says, tell me which one is that?
Subhanallah, the companions couldn't recognize the tree and
it is around them.
Abdullah ibn Omar said, وَوَقَعَ فِي نَفْسِ أَنَّهَا
النَّخْلَةِ It appears to my mind that Rasulullah
ﷺ is talking about the palm tree, the
date tree.
But then I was going to tell him,
ya Rasulullah, this is the palm tree.
But then I see my father is there,
Abu Bakr is there, none of them is
getting the correct answer.
Then I felt shy to talk.
What he was doing is good.
Respect the elders, which also we lost nowadays,
except in a few moments.
You know I'm telling the truth that the
level of respect we have to the old
people has gone down a lot.
In the past it wasn't like that.
When we are young, trust me, everyone in
the community is acting as a father to
us.
When he talks, we respect and we listen.
Our scholars, subhanallah, they are somebody, another level.
Another level, keep them their respect.
The
one who does not respect our elders, and
the one who does not show mercy to
the younger ones, and the one who doesn't
respect the scholars, Rasulullah ﷺ said he is
not one of us.
Go to our institutions where education is being
given, to see the kind of relationship between
the students and the lecturers.
Subhanallah, a lecturer will come, he has to
beg the student to give him place to
pass.
He can pass from the office up to
the classroom, nobody is saying salam to him.
He will be the one who will be
saying salam to people if he is aware
of the sunniah of this.
It's a very bad behavior.
They used to walk behind them.
They used to let them do things first,
before they do.
Nowadays we don't have all of these except
in a few moments.
So I'm just saying this to you so
that you can revive it.
Don't say, okay, I'm the minority.
No, if you fix it, your friend fix
it, this is how we fix things.
We start from home first.
You start from home first.
If you fix, your friend fix it, people
are going to imitate you and they will
also fix.
So back to the hadith.
The Prophet ﷺ said, Abdullah ibn Umar said,
I know the three, but I wanted to
talk, but then I was out of respect
to my parents, and the friend of my
parents, and those big companions, because he was
very young at that time, 15, 16 or
less than that, so he couldn't talk.
Umar said, I wish you said it.
Because if he said it, Rasulullah ﷺ might
make some dua for him, and that's good
for him.
But the scholar said what he was doing
also was right.
Giving chance to the elders to do first,
seek permission from them.
That's why the best way to make it,
if you have old people next to you,
is to ask their permission.
Can I go first if you don't mind?
Yes.
That's what the Prophet ﷺ was doing.
In every single moment when there are big
people, Rasulullah ﷺ used to say, kabbir, kabbir,
start with the big one.
There was a time they gave him a
cup of milk, and then the Prophet ﷺ
drank from it.
He wanted to give it to the first
person on the right side.
Unfortunately, the one on the right side was
Abdullah ibn Abbas.
Very young boy.
Rasulullah ﷺ was looking for Abu Bakr and
Umar there north, next to him.
So he said, young boy, would you allow
me to pass it to the, do you
mind if I give it to them first?
Rasulullah ﷺ always wanted to start with the
big and the elderly people first, before the
younger ones.
Abdullah ibn Abbas said, no, Rasulullah.
Not with your left over, Rasulullah.
Something that comes from your mouth is, Rasulullah,
I would never agree with somebody to take
place before me as long as I do
have a right to go first.
And this is Rasulullah, he passed it to
him first, and then he gave it to
the Mashayikh.
So Rasulullah ﷺ told them, Subhanallah, they mentioned,
as the Prophet ﷺ said, Ibn Hajar said,
they did research and they found that almost
every single thing in this tree is beneficial
to the humankind.
I want you to understand how, what is
the connection between you looking like a palm
tree.
He says almost everything in the tree is
beneficial to human beings.
Up to date we are doing research to
see how can we maximize the benefit from
this tree.
That's why they said, You are supposed to
be acting like the Ghaith, wherever you landed,
you benefit the people in that place.
Try your best to leave good remembrance, because
you have a few days to live in
this dunya.
What will remain is your remembrance, either good
or bad.
You are none other than Hadith.
Hadith means, people will talk about you.
He says, be the best Hadith being mentioned
by the people after you leave.
You know the righteous predecessors, starting from the
Prophets, they all look for this.
He says, Ya Allah, give me good
remembrance in those people who come after me.
It's good.
When they remember you, they say, He used
to provide the community with this.
He used to be this and that.
It's good for you.
You might not understand what I'm saying.
When you move to that life, you will
understand the value of living a good remembrance.
Somebody to remember you and to make dua
for you.
One of your deeds that will never be
cut off is the righteous child that is
always and constantly making dua for you.
He said, the righteous child that you give
tarbiyah to, who is making dua for you
after you go.
I put this tarbiyah, it is not in
the Hadith, but it is necessary.
Because only the one who has tarbiyah from
you will remember you and make dua for
you.
If you do not teach him, you don't
educate him, he will never remember you.
He will be busy with his dunya.
The money you left for him, he's going
to be using it in the wrong way.
The wrong way.
That's why the best gift for the children
before anything else is the tarbiyah.
If you leave your kids with good tarbiyah,
and make them people who are not lazy,
productive people, but with good tarbiyah.
Unfortunately, you did not manage to leave for
them something of the dunya.
I'm not saying you shouldn't, you should.
The Prophet ﷺ said, if you have money,
the best to receive that money after you
go should be your family members.
Sa'ad, when he was about to die,
Rasulullah ﷺ visited him.
He said, Ya Rasulullah, you see my illness,
and you see my condition, and I have
a big fear of me, you know, not
being able to survive.
And Ya Rasulullah, you know that I'm very
rich.
He says, unfortunately Rasulullah, I'm very rich and
I don't have anyone to inherit me, except
one daughter.
So he said, I'm very rich Ya Rasulullah,
and I have a lot of money, but
I have only one daughter.
What does that mean?
According to the law of inheritance, she's going
to inherit everything he has.
She's going to take everything.
We give her the farid that Allah ﷻ
gave her, and the balance we take it
back to her.
We call it ar-rad.
So he said, Ya Rasulullah, is it fine
for me to give two-thirds of my
wealth in charity?
Rasulullah ﷺ said no.
He said, how about giving half of it?
He said no.
He said, Ya Rasulullah, how about one-third?
Because he thinks if he leaves this money
to her, she's alone.
What is she going to do with it?
So it's good to share others.
The Prophet ﷺ said no.
He said, how about one-third?
The Prophet ﷺ said one-third, but even
one-third is too much.
That's why the scholars said it's always better
that the wasiyah shouldn't go to one-third.
Go lower than one-third.
And then he told him why.
He said, Ya Sa'ad,
Allah Akbar.
He says to leave your family as rich
family is always better than leaving them as
a poor family who go and beg others.
So that's the best thing to do.
Keep wealth wherever you can find for your
kids.
But the best thing is to give them
the tarbiyah.
Umar ibn Abdulaziz, when he left this dunya,
he has a lot of children.
And almost all of them are young.
Almost all of them are young.
So when he was about to die, when
he sees them below the age of maturity,
and you know Umar ibn Abdulaziz, subhanAllah, one
dirham to buy grape, he doesn't have.
He was a leader, khalifa for Muslims, but
very, very, very decent person.
Zero corruption.
With no exaggeration.
Zero corruption.
That's why he managed to take Muslims back
to their consciousness and the prestigious nature, the
prestigious life, like the time of Rasulallah ﷺ.
In two years, he did that.
So when he was about to die, the
kids have nothing.
Ibn Taymiyyah mentioned this in his book, The
Sins of Sharia.
Very beautiful story of Allah.
That worth our reading and listening.
When he was about to die, one of
the Banu Umayyah came to him to visit
him.
He told him the condition, you're going to
live this life, and you're leaving your kids
with nothing.
He said, I'm going to give you 100
,000 or more than that.
He said, please keep it for your kids.
He told him, no, I don't need it.
And please take it back to the place
where you pick it up from.
Most likely this is not his part of
the corruption.
He said, please take it back to where
you take it from.
And he told him, he said, my kids
are one of the two people.
The righteous people among them, the righteous person
among them, he said, this one, والله ولي
الصالح.
I believe Allah's bounty takes care of the
righteous people.
إِنَّ وَلِيَ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ أَسْتَلَى الْكِتَابَ وَهُوَ يَتَوَلَّى
الصَّالِحِينَ Subhanallah, very nice deduction.
He said, Allah will take care of the
righteous people.
He said, I have two types of kids,
either the righteous or the one who doesn't
want to be righteous.
He wants to be among the wrongdoer.
He says, والله ولي الصالحين.
Allah will take care of the righteous person.
As for the wrongdoers, he said, I will
never be a person who will keep wealth
for a wrongdoer to go and commit maasi
with it.
And then subhanallah, he died.
This is the way he died, right?
The children, do they have something to inherit?
No, almost zero.
Except a little amount of money he left.
Ibn Taymiyyah said, at the same time, he
died like this.
Before him, there were some of the khulafa,
and after him also some of the khulafa
who died.
And they left their kids with a very
huge amount of money.
Those kids, who their parents left a lot
of money for them, a lot of money
for them, some of them were seen begging
on the streets, the money finished.
At the time, one of the children of
Umar ibn Abdul Aziz, he sponsored one of
the battles with 200 horses from his own
pocket money.
Umar ibn Abdul Aziz was right when he
says, والله ولي الصالحين.
Give tarbiyah to your kids, and don't worry.
بإذن الله تعالى, Allah will take care of
them.
Be righteous and make sure that you put
them in the right way.
So Sa'd told the Prophet صلى الله عليه
وسلم, he wants to do this.
The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said, No,
it's not good.
It is always better for you to leave
your kids at the best, at a better
hand.
So, leave a good remembrance in this dunya.
Be good.
Be a righteous person, and don't worry.
Wallahi, this is the best life.
The most comfortable life is the life of
righteous people.
You know why is it the most comfortable
life?
Because Allah SWT stands for you.
Whenever you need Allah SWT, it's always there.
He says, احفظ الله تجده تجاهك.
احفظ الله تجده امامك.
Preserve the religion of Allah SWT.
Allah will always be in front of you.
Don't you ever be deceived by what you
see of the تقلبات اهل الدنيا in the
dunya.
Allah says, لا يغرنكم تقلبا الذين كفروا في
البلاد.
متاع قليل ثم ما جهنم.
So, we have digressed so much, but I
think this is for the benefit of the
event itself.
May Allah grant us a good.
So, the first thing that was narrated to
us was that sin committed by the son
of Adam.
So, I just want you to understand that
sins were there in the time of Adam
AS, the children of Adam, Qabil and Habil.
You know, they're also like anybody else.
That's why Adam AS was there, not as
a messenger of Allah SWT, but as a
prophet of Allah SWT to guide and to
remind his kids about what Allah SWT wants
them to do.
Allah told them, I will send you down
to the earth and the one who follows
my guidance, I will send along with you
books.
If you manage to follow my guidance, you
will be able to go back to the
best place you left earlier.
So, people used to commit معاصي.
However, there was no shirk at that time.
There was no shirk at that time.
Abdullah bin Abbas said, كان بين آدم و
نوح عشرة قرون.
He said, between Adam and Nuh AS, عشرة
قرون.
Between these two prophets, there were عشرة قرون.
10 قرن.
10 قرن.
10 قرن.
10 قرن According to 1000 years, according to
the most apparent opinion of the scholars.
Because القرن is determined by 100 years.
According to the sunnah of the Prophet SAW,
he said about one of the children, يَعِيشُ
هَذَا الْغُلَامِ قَرْنًا.
This boy is going to live for one
قرن.
They realized that this boy died at the
age of 100.
He lived 100 years and then died.
So, we learned that قرن is 100 years.
So, if he says عشرة قرون, that's 100
times, 10, right?
That's 1000.
1000 years.
Ibn Kathir says, there are some scholars who
said, no, it might be more than that.
But the most apparent meaning from the hadith
is عشرة قرون means 1000 years.
There are many narrations from the Tabi'in,
from some scholars who actually remove عشرة قرون
and say 1000 years between Adam and Nuh.
There is a hadith, authentic hadith also from
Rasulullah that says between Adam and Nuh is
1000 years and between Nuh and Adam also
is 1000 years.
I'm sorry, not 1000 years, عشرة قرون.
10 قرن between Adam and Nuh and 10
قرن between Ibrahim and Nuh.
Abdullah ibn Abbas said, كلها على التوحيد.
I choose the opinion that says قرن is
100 years because it's closer to the meaning.
And especially also, when you look at the
way they mentioned, the نسب of Nuh they
gave, if you look at it also, you
will see that yes, the one that could
be supported through this one is the one
that says it's 1000 years.
Because the Ahl al-Tarikh, they said Nuh,
I'm very sorry if I pronounce the name
in the wrong way.
These are very strange names.
Nuh ibn Lamak ibn Mutawlish Mutawshilih ibn Khanuh
or Idrees.
This Khanuh, they said he is Idrees alayhis
salam.
Which means Idrees came before Nuh alayhis salam.
Put a line under this.
Idrees, he came before Nuh alayhis salam according
to some of the history writers.
And also they wanted to say that ibn
Bard, ibn Mahlil, ibn Qineen, ibn Sheeth ibn
Adam.
Sheeth ibn Adam, Sheeth also was mentioned by
some scholars to be Rasul of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala.
But ibn Kathir says فيما زعموا.
He says they claim that Idrees was also
in the lineage of Nuh alayhis salam before
Adam alayhis salam.
So is it true that Idrees alayhis salam
he came before Nuh alayhis salam?
That's the belief of most of us, right?
Many of us when we talk about Idrees,
we think that Idrees came before Adam alayhis
salam.
I'm sorry, before Nuh alayhis salam.
And this is absolutely wrong.
It's incorrect.
This is incorrect.
That's the reason why ibn Kathir says فيما
زعموا.
According to the claim that Idrees came before
Nuh alayhis salam.
Because in the Quran, Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala says وَإِنَّ إِدْرِيسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِدْرِيسَ لَمِنَ
الْمُرْسَلِينَ Idrees was Rasul, right?
Idrees was Rasul, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
says.
And also we learn from the Sunnah of
the Prophet alayhis salam that Nuh was the
first messenger of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So how does it work?
إِدْرِيسَ لَمِنَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ And Nuh was the first.
And from the lineage of Nuh alayhis salam,
Idrees was there.
Do you get what I'm trying to say,
right?
That's the reason why ibn Kathir says فيما
زعموا According to the claim of those people,
those historians, Idrees came before Nuh alayhis salam.
Ibn Uthaymeen says any person that tells you
that there was a Rasul before Nuh alayhis
salam, this is كذب.
This is a lie.
And that's true.
Sheeth was not a Rasul.
Adam was a Prophet.
Adam was a Prophet.
If Idrees was before Nuh alayhis salam, he
was a Prophet, not Rasul.
But then the Quran says Idrees was Rasul.
That means 100% we believe that Idrees
came after Nuh alayhis salam.
That's the reason why one of the scholars
said actually even the context of the Quran,
it is against this one.
Because Idrees usually when he is mentioned, he
is mentioned among the Prophets of Bani Israel.
Bani Israel will be mentioned, the Prophets of
Bani Israel, Idrees also will be mentioned.
Why?
Every time when the Prophets of Bani Israel
are mentioned, Idrees also will be mentioned.
So most likely Idrees actually came after even
Ibrahim alayhis salam, not even Nuh alayhis salam.
Is that clear?
So if you look at this this Nasab,
you see Nuh alayhis salam, right?
You see that Lalamak, number 2.
And then another one, number 3.
Another one, number 4.
And then we have another one, number 5,
and we have number 6, we have 7,
we have 8, we have 9, and then
Adam, number 10.
That's the reason why I say the closest
opinion should be the one that says between
Adam and Nuh, it means 1000 years only.
1000 years only, right?
And I'm also saying this to you so
that you will know that science is not
supposed to be trusted in everything that science
says.
Because these guys told us that they found
you know, through their analysis and their research,
they found a man that lived for more
than 1 million years ago.
That's kathib.
Right?
Because Adam, between Adam and Nuh is 1000
years.
Right?
Let's say Adam lived 1000 years.
After he died, we have another one.
Let's make the calculation for this to give
more time.
Adam lived around 1000 years.
And then 1000 years later, Nuh came.
And then Nuh lived 1000 years plus.
And then 1000 years later, Ibrahim came.
How many thousands?
4000.
And everyone knows that between Ibrahim and Muhammad
is about 4000 years.
So we're talking about 8,000 to 9
,000 years.
And those guys tell us this guy lived
1,600,000 years ago.
So maybe from another Adam, but not the
one we have.
Do you get the idea?
And also, those people who did research to
inform the people about what happened in the
past, you know, they talk about Tufan.
Tufan, this is the flood that happens in
the time of Nuh, they're talking about 9
This is what the research led them to
see around 9,000 years ago.
So the Prophet s.a.w. has said,
between Adam and Nuh, he says, all of
them are worshipping Allah s.w.t. They
don't have shirk.
They have ma'asib but no shirk.
These are the golden age of human life.
So they were living like that.
There was no Rasul among them, but there
were Prophets.
Adam was a Prophet.
Sheeth was a Prophet, according to the mention
of the historians.
And maybe other Prophets also that we don't
know, Allah s.w.t., because there's so
many, so many Prophets.
A Rasul is somebody who is commanded by
Allah s.w.t. through a Wahi to
convey a message to people.
You go and tell them, Allah sent me
to you.
A Prophet, a Nabi, is the one who
is receiving the Wahi from Allah, but he
is not commanded to convey the message as
in Allah s.w.t. sent me to
you.
But what is his job then?
His job is to fix what has been
messed up by the people, you know, from
the previous Risalah.
So just like the job of the scholars
in the Ummah of Muhammad s.a.w.,
these are the Rasul.
I'm sorry, these are the Prophets.
They do have a job.
That's wrong definition that we have in our
brain that a Nabi is somebody who receives
a message just to do it by himself,
but without sharing it with others.
That's wrong.
They do share that which Allah s.w
.t. asks them to do, but not in
the way Rasul is sharing.
Rasul will go and tell them, Allah sent
me to you.
A Prophet will not do this, but he
will go and fix that which is being
messed up by the people.
You guys shouldn't do this.
Tawrat told us that this is wrong.
We got this from Inji that this is
wrong.
You should do this and that.
Allah will inform him that there is something
wrong in a place.
Go and fix it.
This is a Nabi.
This is the difference between Nabi and Rasul.
So there was no Rasul before Nuh a
.s. When the time of Nuh comes, what
happened was that there used to be very
righteous people.
Allah s.w.t. mentioned in Surah Nuh
a.s. ...
...
...
Names of the very righteous people.
The community, out of good behavior and good
manners, they decided to keep something which they
will be remembering those righteous people with.
What did they do?
They made the statues of those righteous people.
They made the statues of those righteous people.
That was the time the image started to
take place.
Out of good intention.
That's why the scholars said when it comes
to the religious matters, you are just supposed
to receive from Allah what he wants you
to do.
Dunya matters, you are free to invent, to
innovate, to be creative, to go with the
best.
The Prophet s.a.w. said, ...
...
...
Perfection and all of these things is needed
in terms of creativity and bringing more advanced
things of the dunya.
That one is fine.
But when it comes to the religious matters,
we are supposed to stand in one place
until Allah told us to do so.
This is what is called innovation in our
Sharia.
Doing things which you think is part of
the religion but it is not part of
it.
That's what makes innovation innovation and wrong attitude
and wrong behavior and something which is against
the Sharia of Allah s.w.t actually
worse than the normal things.
Because an innovator if he knows what he
does, he is actually putting himself in the
position of Rabbul Alameen.
Because who has the right to give Sharia?
Only Allah s.w.t. Through Muhammad s
.a.w. Subhanallah when you innovate, you bring
something new.
You know what happens after that?
We are going to lose that which is
in existence in the deen because of that
innovation.
Because Allah says in the Quran, Today I
have completed for you your religion.
So Allah says the religion is completed.
Right?
It's just like a cup of water.
It's just like a cup of water.
The scholar said which is extremely full.
If you take one drop of water and
put in that cup, what happens?
It will spill.
But which one is going out?
The new one or the old one?
The old one will go out.
The new one will remain.
So there is no space for the old
one.
You have to create a space for it.
And in the religion of Allah s.w
.t. there is no space to bring anything
new.
You have to create a space for that.
So how to do that space?
No way according to our sharia for us
to make that space.
We have to just take the sharia and
do that.
I just want you to understand what this
innovation means to our religion.
So when you put, when you bring something
new, it's just like a drop of water
that you added in the cup which is
very full.
The old one will go out so that
you can have a space for the new
one.
That's exactly what is going on.
Trust me my dear brothers and sisters, there
is no new thing that you bring to
the sharia except that you are going to
chase away what is already established by the
sunnah of the Prophet s.a.w. or
by the Qur'an.
Otherwise you would never have a space.
That's why I really advise you stick to
that which you know is from Rasulullah s
.a.w. That's the only way to pass
the test in this dunya of ours.
May Allah s.w.t. grant us good
and Tawfiq.
So those people they think by doing what
they're doing they are doing a righteous deed
to please Allah s.w.t. They believe
that they are doing that which is correct
to please Allah s.w.t. So they
make the statues of those people and the
idea at that time it was simply because
they want to remember them.
This is so and so and so, this
is Yaqub.
This one is always praying to Allah s
.w.t. at night.
I'm also going to start doing.
This is always reciting the book if they
have a book at that time.
I'm also going to start doing.
This is always giving charity.
I'm also going to start giving charity.
Was it a good purpose?
Yes, it was a good purpose.
But you know like Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud
said, How many times you find somebody who
is having good intention but he missed the
target.
That's why when it comes to Shariah of
Allah s.w.t. Good intention in terms
of introducing something new doesn't work.
Somebody was receiving the dhikr from Rasulallah s
.a.w. Rasulallah s.a.w. told him,
In the dhikr you should say, I believe
in your Nabi, your Prophet that you sent.
The man that companion when he was repeating
the dhikr to the Prophet s.a.w.
He said, And also I believe in the
Rasul, your Rasul that you have sent.
Rasulallah s.a.w. said, Did I tell
you Rasul or Nabi?
He said, Nabi.
He said, Keep it in the way it
is.
That's Shariah of Allah s.w.t. Wallahi
it is always better for you not to
handle this responsibility when you go back to
Allah s.w.t. If he asked you,
Where did you get it?
What would you tell Allah s.w.t?
So they had good intention but the good
intention is not enough for a person to
introduce something which Allah did not tell him
to do so.
Which is supposed to be part of their
religion according to him.
So those guys died.
When their children come, shaytan came to them
and he told them, The reason why your
parents did this, it is simply because they
want to put them as intermediaries between them
and Allah s.w.t. Because you are
not pure enough to reach Allah.
So up to this date that I am
talking to you, there are some people who
believe that they cannot raise up their hand
and ask Allah s.w.t. They have
to go through somebody else.
Eww Allah!
That's when you belittle yourself, you put yourself
down.
In our sharia, actually Allah wants you to
come by yourself.
That's why it is disliked for you to
ask somebody to make dua for you.
It's not haram but it's disliked, makuh.
Because dua is an act of worship.
Allah wants to see you you, you raising
up your hand and asking him.
You get it?
Don't be surprised.
Your dua might be accepted by Allah s
.w.t. quicker than when you ask one
of the scholars to make dua for you.
Allah wants to see you do it.
Because if you ask me, you ask him,
you ask her to make dua for you,
what message are you sending to Rabbul Alamin?
Although this is not our intention, but what
message are you sending to Rabbul Alamin?
I mean what message are you sending to
Rabbul Alamin?
Either you're so arrogant which I don't think
anyone is intending this, or you have no
time or this is only meant for this
type of people.
In all of these circumstances it is not
good for you to go to Allah s
.w.t. like that.
When I raise up my hand and I
ask Allah s.w.t. Do I get
reward?
Yes.
You come closer to Allah s.w.t.
Allah says, Arabic Arabic Arabic Exactly inshallah.
So shaitan told them that you guys are
not clean enough to approach Rabbul Alamin.
You have to put somebody before I mean
between you and Allah.
This one has to be a clean person
who can approach Allah.
And you see the aqal of human beings
you know sometimes dictates them to go and
take even statues they make by themselves to
worship them.
So that's what happens.
That's when the shirk start to emerge in
the time of Nuh a.s. And you
know it started with good intention but since
there is no command by Allah s.w
.t. to do so, it took Nuh a
.s. 1000 years minus 50, 950 years to
convince this guy.
And that's the reason why Allah sent him
actually to them.
950 years the man was inviting them to
Allah and Allah s.w.t. says, Arabic
I'm going to surprise you inshallah at the
end of the story to see how many
people exactly accepted Nuh a.s. Allah says,
Arabic 950 years You know what started with
good intention but there is no command by
Allah s.w.t. to do it you
know and by the suffering you know from
this messenger of Allah s.w.t. Trust
me he really suffered.
That's why some of the scholars said there
was no prophet who suffered like Nuh a
.s. 1000 years Subhanallah is a good message
for us to see the peak of patience
and tolerance and hoping good for others which
we stress on it in the next coming
session inshallah.
So Nuh a.s. was the first Rasul
Allah s.w.t. sent because before Nuh
a.s. there was no shirk so there
was no need to send any person to
invite people to Allah s.w.t. in
that way but in the time of Nuh
when people introduced something which Allah did not
ask them to do and it ended up
by them being deceived by the devil and
they started worshipping those idols and statues Allah
s.w.t. sent Nuh a.s. to
go and invite them to the truth So
we have sent Nuh to his people and
he lived with them.
These are the years of the Dawah because
he says Arsalna so the time from the
time Allah sent him he lived with them
for 950 years So before I know my
time finished Mazen started looking at his watch
but before I finish Nuh a.s. was
sent and there is a correction that I
would like to make because some of you
who are reading the history you might find
some of the historian mentioning that Qabil and
his children they used to worship idols but
that hadith of Abdullah ibn Abbas and the
ayah in the Quran and many other Nasus
they are all confirming that this part of
the history is false children of Qabil and
Qabil himself did not worship other than Allah
s.w.t they follow their desire they
commit sins but they do not worship idols
because Abdullah ibn Abbas said Kulluha ala tawheed
they are all upon the tawheed of Allah
s.w.t Allah s.w.t says
when was he sent?
this is the last thing inshallah Mazen when
was he sent?
at what age Allah s.w.t sent
him?
some scholars said when he was at the
age of 50 Rasulullah s.a.w. was
40 some of them said 40 like any
other prophet some of them said at the
age of 50, some of them said when
he was at 350 years 50 years old
then Allah sent him, some of them said
he was at the age of 480 then
Allah s.w.t sent him so whatever
the case might be this is not, these
are differences of narration I just wanted to
share with you this is not important at
all, what is important is to know that
Allah s.w.t sent Noah a.s
when shirk started to emerge in his people,
what was the age?
wallahu alam, but these are the differences of
opinions among the scholars according to the time
Allah s.w.t sent him so if
we take 50 years, he was at the
age of 50, lived with them 950 that's
1000, they said after the destruction of his
people he lived 60 more years and then
he died so what was his age then?
according to this calculation if we are correct
then he is 1060 60 years what is
the best answer that's in this?
wallahu alam pray to Allah s.w.t
and do the good thing when you go
to Jannah go visit him inshallah if he
has time for you go and visit him
and ask him how old are you when
Allah s.w.t gave you the message
you get the correct answer then you can
share with us in Jannah inshallah see you

of them got 10 out of 10 can
you please raise your hand if you are
either of these any of these so
Alhamdulillah we are back to continue from where
we stopped last time.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala helped us to
do that which is right and to say
that which is correct and to forgive anything
which we say that is not within that
which Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala knows to
be correct so inshallah I continue from where
I stopped and if I'm not wrong last
time we stopped at the place where we
discussed the age of Nuh alayhi salam when
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala sent him the
age of Nuh alayhi salam when he was
sent by Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and
if you remember from the first part of
my speech I said inshallah I will go
through that which happens in the story of
Nuh alayhi salam from the Quran I will
take it from the book of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala and I will be quoting
inshallah ayat from surah surah Hud inshallah so
in the surah Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
says he says so
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala said we sent
Nuh alayhi salam to his people and he
told his people that I am just a
warner from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to
you so when the shirk was at its
peak, Allah sent Nuh to remind them to
stop doing the shirk because when the shirk
exists in the people this is it's like
an indicator that that society and the community
is going to be taken down, that's why
the scholars mentioned that one of the main
objectives of the sharia, the existence of the
sharia of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is
to preserve the deen, and the most important
part of the deen is the aqeedah there
is no way for you to establish a
civilization, healthy community without establishing the aqeedah that's
why the prophets of Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala all of them, their message is one
they share the same father which is the
tawhid and they have different mothers different mothers
is referring to the sharia every one of
them has his own sharia but when it
comes to the matters of aqeedah there was
no difference between Adam and Nuh there was
no difference between Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
and Adam because in aqeedah we are talking
about the rights of Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala and Allah doesn't change we change, you
know the society change, the nature of the
people change that's why when the people are
gone when the next generation comes, Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala might give them a new
sharia contrary to the previous one but in
terms of the aqeedah there is no change,
but I just want you to understand the
importance of the aqeedah in which Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala sent all of the messengers
and commanded them to begin their da'a
with this because without aqeedah you can't do
anything, Ibrahim as the best example that I
always mention he managed to establish Makkah, one
of the richest place on earth, those duwarat
khalij that area was well established by Ibrahim
alayhi salam through the tawhid you know how
it begins right he took his son and
put him in that place and there was
no life, nobody there was there to support
them, but subhanallah Ibrahim did what we had
mentioned earlier, gave a good tarbiyah to the
family it's the best example you know if
you are going back to the prophets, amongst
those prophets that we are told about them,
all of them are like that actually by
the way Ibrahim is one of the best
examples given to us by Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala about how to educate the family
and to let them be attached, attached in
their life with Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
otherwise how do you expect a woman to
be in a place where there is no
life and nobody is there to help her
and she agrees with that, Ibrahim told her
nothing, except that she asked him, is Allah
the one asking to put us in this
place, he said yes she said no problem,
I believe Allah will never neglect us, she
accepted 100% and she went back to
the place and subhanallah with no complaint, you
can imagine how much Ibrahim invest in that
wife of his and subhanallah that's a very
good thing to be done because when you
do this the children who will come the
wife will be transferring the tarbiyah, the education
to them trust me my dear brother and
sister, those who are married among you, wallah
the best is to invest in your wife
to make sure that she gets the best
comfort she needs and also the best education
she needs because you cannot give the tarbiyah
to your kids without her help, whether you
like it or don't like it, the tarbiyah
of the kids the best person to stand
for this is the wife at home if
she stays away from it the tarbiyah will
be deficient that's the reason why many of
our scholars said this is a job لا
يحسن أحد إلا النساء the best to do
this job is a woman, a man is
just a supervisor, he can take her, defender,
somebody who provide a conducive environment for the
tarbiyah to take place, Ibrahim doesn't have a
child but he invest in his family, he
make sure that yes he put them upon
that aqeedah الإيمان بالله عز و جل putting
that trust in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
that's why when he left her in that
place she doesn't mind, she accepted she accepted
it, she said no problem I believe Allah
will not neglect us she went back to
the place where there is no life, nobody
to support her and the child and she
lived with a little amount of water, little
amount of tamr, the tamr finished, the water
finished and the baby was you know, about
to die because of hunger that's the reason
why she kept on looking for somebody to
help when she heard the voice of Jibreel
alayhi salam she was talking to herself please
listen, listen, listen, listen somebody is talking she
looked behind, she saw Jibreel alayhi salam before
she saw him she said please, the one
who let me hear his voice should help
me if he has any help, I have
a need here I need to take care
of my child, I need water, I need
food she saw Jibreel she went to Jibreel
alayhi salam Jibreel asked her, who are you?
she said I'm the mother of the son
of Ibrahim alayhi salam she mentioned Ibrahim because
if it is somebody from the sama, she
knows that this person should know Ibrahim alayhi
salam so she said I'm the mother of
the son of Ibrahim alayhi salam and then
Jibreel asked her he said oh, where is
he?
he said he left he left you here,
alone, she said yes he left you under
the custody of who?
she said Allah subhanallah, and Jibreel told her
he said don't worry Ibrahim left you at
the best place subhanallah means Allah says isn't
it it's enough that's the reason why he
kept on saying righteous people should be the
most enjoying people in this life, if you're
righteous and you do it correctly, you will
enjoy life in this dunya, because Allah subhanallah
will control your heart and grant you peace
of mind, which is the essence of happiness
in this dunya there is no happiness if
a person is not happy from inside, internal
peace, this is the real happiness and nobody
get this one except somebody who is with
the Rabbal Alameen that's why Allah subhanallah says
isn't it, you know, a fact that Allah
subhanallah says, you know, for his slave Allah
is talking to the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa
sallam و يخوفونك بالذين من دنيا and they're
trying to scare you you know, using the
name of Ahlan and Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala Allah is telling the Prophet salallahu alayhi
wa sallam don't worry, I stand for you
so Jibreel told her don't worry, Allah subhanallah
will take care of you so it was
an absolute Tawheed and Aqeedah that is perfect,
based on making Allah subhanallah one and the
only one that build up that civilization that
we see up to date والله أقسم بالله
they got what they get nowadays because of
Tawheed and Aqeedah that's why Allah subhanallah says
Allah subhanallah gave us an example of a
city that used to receive a lot, and
this is Makkah because they have everything the
place was a desert, there is no life
in the place, no trees no nothing except
mountains and desert Sahara they call it Mafawis
this is Mahalik but he put them in
that place but since they are under the
care of Rabbul Alameen and he put them
an Aqeedah, Aqeedah al-Sahihah he doesn't mind
when he went too far from them, he
made dua for them and asked Allah subhanallah
to provide for them whatever they need the
Meccans later on you know, the Meccans later
on when they told the Prophet s.a
.w we are not willing to accept you
because we are scared, if we accept you
we will be snatched by the tyrant rulers
Allah subhanallah says, what are they talking about
in one place Allah subhanallah says what are
they talking about they are telling the Prophet
s.a.w we don't accept you because
we are scared of other people to come
and * us that means these guys are
not reading from the history because Mecca has
a very natural protection that Allah s.w
.t. provided for that place, history tells us
this the tyrant rulers the oppressors, whenever they
reach Mecca they skip it that's naturally Meccans
are not known to be like fighters, you
know, nobody can touch them, no they are
not like that in fact they are weak
but the place is so sacred protected by
Allah s.w.t. in a way, when
those criminals come they skip Mecca to other
people so Allah told them didn't they read
history, didn't they see that whenever those guys
came, they would skip them, and Allah s
.w.t. says the fruits of everything is
being brought to that place so they used
to live this kind of affluent life, because
of what?
there was a time when they disbelieved, they
stayed away from the right thing, Allah s
.w.t. says Allah let them taste the
consequences of going against the Tawhid so my
dear brothers and sisters please do remember this
word throughout your life Aqeedah first this is
the most sensitive part of our religion Wallahi
if everything is going to be missing in
your life but the Aqeedah is correct, you
are you are saved remember the story of
that person who went to Allah s.w
.t. with how many scrolls of evil deed
how many scrolls 99 you guys don't read
Sunnah that much so 99 scrolls, 99 of
books of evil deed كل سجل منها مد
البصر Rasulullah s.a.w. said every book
is as far as you can see nothing
in these books except evil deed this person
at the end of the day, where did
he go?
Jannah why did he go to Jannah?
because Allah s.w.t. gave him a
card which this card contains لا إله إلا
الله so they put the he himself never
believed that he can pass, Allah asked the
angel to put the books, those 99 books
of evil deed, they put them on one
hand of the scale and they put that
small card on the other hand of the
scale Subhanallah the Prophet s.a.w. said
فَطَاشَةِ السِّجِلَّاتِ وَثَقُلَةِ الْبِطَاقَةِ وَثَقُلَةِ الْبِطَاقَةِ he said
those Sijillat those scrolls they became so light
and that card became heavier because nothing can
go beyond the word of Allah s.w
.t Allah took him to paradise because of
this that's why Aqidah is important no compromise
in any part of the deed especially when
it comes to the matters of Aqidah so
that's why we see here Nuh was the
first Rasul and the first thing Allah s
.w.t. asked him to do was to
invite people to fix their Aqidah right of
Allah s.w.t. at first Rasul Allah
s.w.t. said I am sending you
to Yemen let it be the first thing
you invite the people of Yemen to do
is shahada to Allah what did he start
with?
Aqidah also you get it?
all of the messengers of Allah s.w
.t. were like that so I invite all
the parents and those who are willing to
marry in the future please your house should
be the house of what?
Aqidah, right of Allah s.w.t. should
be preserved that's the best way for you
to take care of your family you see
Hajar was protected in that place which is
deadly place you also if your house is
based on Aqidah inshallah your house will be
protected so when he invite them did they
accept him?
unfortunately not Allah says they told him how
come you are coming to tell us you
are the messenger of Allah, Allah is sending
you and you are just a human being
like us that's the problem of some people
they think that a prophet and rasul has
to be from the angels or some other
creation not human beings that's how much they
belittle human beings Allah s.w.t. says
they want Malik to come imagine if an
angel is coming who is going to deny
Allah s.w.t. wants it to be
as a test to take what you are
invited to willingly so that honesty could be
maintained otherwise if an angel is to come
and tell us do nobody will say no
to him many of us will do out
of the fear of the angel, Allah doesn't
want this so he sent human beings like
us so that you will be comfortable to
listen and when you accept it, you are
accepting it sincerely for the sake of Allah
s.w.t. because you are not afraid
of that person who is inviting you to
he says if we have angels on earth
and they can be able to walk to
walk on earth comfortably when we send somebody
to them it will be from the angels
not from the human beings or the jinns
there is a system with Allah s.w
.t and they also told him you are
just like us and also we don't see
those people who are following you means the
most efficient and the insignificant people are the
ones who are following you and subhanAllah the
truth is not recognized by the type of
the people who are following don't you ever
be deceived by this usually who are the
followers of the truth?
the important notable element in the community the
weak ones you get it, the weak ones
that's why Hiraql when he asked Abu Sufyan
about Rasulallah s.a.w. he said is
he followed by the important people, the rich
people or he is followed by the weak
ones you know Hiraql was the top, number
one in what you call the community of
the Romans and he was a alim he
is a knowledgeable person he knows the Bible
or Injil at that time before, this Bible
is just initially introduced but he knows the
Injil, the corrupt one he studied, so when
he asked Abu Sufyan who are the followers
of Muhammad s.a.w. are they from
the rich people or the poor people, Abu
Sufyan said the poor people Hiraql says he
said those ones are the followers the followers
of the messengers of Allah s.w.t
according to the history throughout the history these
are the ones who are following that's why
the people of Nuh told him chase away
these guys and then we will come and
replace them we cannot sit in the same
place like them, if you ask them to
leave then we will accept you and subhanallah
this is the sunnah of all the prophets
and the messengers of Allah s.w.t
Rasulallah s.a.w. also like Nuh, they
also told him stay away from the companions
those people who are poor then we can
come and accept you Allah told him in
Surah Al-Kahf وَاصْبِرْ نَفْسَكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ يَدْعُونَ
رَبَّهُمْ بِالْغَدَاةِ وَالْعَشِيرِ يُرِيدُونَ وَاجْحًا Allah asked him
to be patient with those weak people who
are constantly dedicated to Allah s.w.t,
so back to Nuh a.s قَالَ يَا
قَوْمِ أَرَأَيْتُمْ إِن كُنْتُ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ Maqasid
in Islam Number 1 is the Deen These
Maqasid, the 5 Daruriyat Not 5 Maqasid, 5
Daruriyat These are the things that we need
them in our life for us to live
properly.
Number 1 is the Deen If there is
no Deen, there is no life Allah SWT
says وَكَذَلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَا إِلَيْكَ رُوحًا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا We
have revealed to you Ruh What is Ruh?
Soul And Allah SWT is describing the Quran
as a soul.
Without soul, there is no life.
He says in Surah Al-Anfal استَجِبُوا لِلَّهِ
وَلِلرَّسُولِ إِذَا دَعَاكُمْ لِبَيُّهِيكُمْ Respond to the call
of Allah SWT and the Prophet whenever Allah
invites you to that which will make you
alive No Sharia, no life All of the
perished nations they were destroyed by Allah because
the Deen is missing in their life We
the Ummah of Muhammad SAW, Allah promised Rasulullah
not to destroy us collectively That's why it
doesn't happen Otherwise, trust me almost every single
thing that some people did in the past
and they got swept by Allah SWT In
this Ummah, you find people who are doing.
Name one thing which was there in the
past which you don't find nowadays.
But SubhanAllah Rasulullah SAW, Alhamdulillah He asked Allah
not to treat us in the way he
treated those ones And Allah told him, yes
he will do that.
He will not do that I'm sorry.
Allah told him, yes he will not do
that.
That's the reason why the punishment is not
taking place collectively But sometimes Allah will hit
this part and sometimes that part All of
these natural disasters that are taking place from
time to time, they are shahada for the
people who are involved as long as they
have Iman and also punishment for the criminals.
That's how Allah SWT is touching the Ummah
so that we can reflect and come back
to him But unfortunately, as Allah said وَنُخَوِّفُهُمْ
فَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلَّا طُغْيَنًا كَبِيرًا We scare them.
We send these natural things to warn people
to bring them back to their consciousness but
it doesn't increase them in anything except arrogance
When the earthquake happens, some of us will
say because the building is not properly constructed
What are you talking about?
This is Rabbul Alameen Wallahi, if you make
it with metal with whatever you make in
those buildings Allah will take it down and
melt it and actually nothing can stop the
punishment of Allah as we are going to
see inshallah in the near future.
So he told them we are not here
to force you.
We are just presenting what is mercy to
you If you want to accept it, accept
it but we will never impose it upon
you And then he told them, you are
asking me to take away these people He
said, first of all, I don't look for
any reward from you.
I am giving you the da'wah free
of charge and also, I have no right
to take away those people that you asked
me to chase away He says, you guys
are ignorant Until now, I don't know how
to convince you that what I am saying
is the truth and it is from Allah
You want me to take away these people?
He said, I can't because Allah knows their
intention They show me that they accepted Allah
He says, They are going to meet Allah
He will be the one who will deal
with them But you guys are none other
than ignorant and you are not willing to
understand what I am talking about And then
he told them If I am to chase
them away who is that person who can
protect me from Allah if Allah holds me
responsible of this To chase away the righteous
people, to replace them with people who I
am not even sure whether they will accept
or not He said, who will support me
if Allah wants to punish me after chasing
them And he told them, I don't have
anything Allah is the controller He said, those
guys that you belittle I cannot say to
you that Allah will not give them good
in the future He says, Only Allah knows
what they do He said, if I do
that then I am a Zalim, an oppressor
So this is no responding to the request
by those people When he talked like this,
how long he has been mentioning this to
them?
950 years Do we learn a lesson from
this?
A lot What is the main lesson we
take from this?
Patience and tolerance We are living in 21st
century and I have to keep on the
mic No need to come I am just
making a joke You are taking from my
time Thank you What was I saying?
Patience and tolerance Thank you very much Alhamdulillah
I am not alone Patience and tolerance This
is one of the key to succeed in
our Dawa Go and check the Dawa of
all the messengers of Allah Allah is almost
totally different from ours Alhamdulillah Allah sent them
Trust me, if one of us is to
be sent Life will not be in the
way it is Many of us might not
get the truth But Allah sent people who
will be treated by the people with the
worst type of treatment Rasulullah said, I saw
one of them I just want you to
appreciate the name of Allah by choosing these
type of people to send them to us
This prophet, his people kept on beating him
They caused him to bleed He was bleeding
But at the same time he was rubbing
the blood from his face He was saying,
Ya Allah Ya Allah forgive them because they
don't know Can you imagine this?
They were throwing stone He was bleeding But
he was just cleaning the blood from his
face And what is in his heart It
was just the fear of Allah taking action
against them because of this He kept on
saying, Ya Allah He forgot that he is
under the punishment But he kept on saying,
Ya Allah Do not hold them responsible of
this Do not hold them accountable of it
Don't punish them Ya Allah forgive them They
are ignorant, they don't know what they are
facing And Rasulullah also they did the same
thing to him in Ta'if which Rasulullah
couldn't forget Aisha said, Ya Rasulullah Did you
ever witness a moment that is worse than
the battle of Uhud In the battle of
Uhud they almost killed the Prophet Almost killed
the Prophet Allah swt protected him The companion
said, we saw two people with white clothes,
with sword Defending Rasulullah They expect these ones
to be angels being sent by Allah Because
all the companions except a few ran away.
The Prophet was left to be protected and
defended by Talha and Sa'al ibn Abi
Waqas And those ones at the end of
the day they have gone They have taken
down by the enemies Allah swt interferes and
send angels to defend the Prophet He was
trapped, they broke his teeth They cut some
part of his head So Aisha when she
heard about the Uhud, she said Ya Rasulullah,
did you ever witness hardship like Uhud?
He said, yes She asked him, what was
that?
He mentioned the Ta'if That's why I
said he couldn't forget what happened So in
Ta'if also they threw stone on him
He bled.
When the angel of mountains came together with
Jibreel and they proposed to just take two
mountains and just smash them to kill them
all Rasulullah said no Subhanallah, please you had
dua If you claim that you are doing
this for Allah this is the way to
make it Wallah you have to imitate Rasulullah
in your dawah Rasulullah was not even thinking
about them.
He said no I don't want this.
He said because if they are rejecting me
today Inshallah they will accept later But if
they don't accept, it doesn't matter Inshallah from
their children, Inshallah I will have somebody who
will say yes He's not even thinking about
them Look at Bu'ud Natham He said
Inshallah there will be somebody in the future
who will accept me.
How many times we hear about people who
are wishing other people to die in the
way they are and go to * This
is not the behavior of Rasulullah And this
attitude that we have we live in the
community and you know that the community needs
your contribution in dawah and we keep quiet
We have nothing to do except to sit
down and talk about the community being bad,
the community is this and that.
Allah will question you about your contribution.
Any community you live in and you are
not doing the job that you are supposed
to be doing, you will be questioned by
Allah SWT what kind of contribution you had
given to those people.
It is my responsibility and your responsibility to
make sure that you guide those people If
you don't do it you will be questioned
by Allah SWT about that and in your
dawah you have to observe patience Rasulullah SAW
was sabir never made dua against his people.
Nuh AS before he made dua against them
he spent 950 years.
Were they enough?
Yes They were enough to make a person
lose in hope.
950 years.
But do you know that Nuh AS regretted?
You will say they deserve and wallahi they
deserve but Nuh AS regretted he was like
why couldn't I be patient more maybe they
would listen He said but Allah SWT supported
him.
So this is what we should learn from
this part of the story.
Patience and don't lose hope and don't give
time for acceptance People ask until when should
I keep on inviting them What should we
tell him?
Until you die I will see this on
this.
Until you die.
Keep on trying.
Today he did not understand maybe tomorrow he
will see what you are talking about and
also don't you ever say that oh these
guys are very bad they are too much
away from Islam.
It's not easy to get them inside.
They are too much away from righteousness.
It's not easy to bring them back.
This shouldn't be the behavior of a righteous
person and a correct da'i Ashabu Sabt
who were catching fish on Saturday and Allah
told them not to catch fish on Saturday
Did they catch fish on Saturday?
Yes They put the trap when?
On Friday.
The fish get trapped on Saturday and they
come and pick it up on Sunday They
think they are playing games.
So dumb you know Everyone knows that if
you take the fish you know when the
fish get trapped on Saturday.
When did you catch the fish actually?
Saturday That's why Allah swt destroyed them because
of that.
So the people in that city were divided
into three groups Those people who are reminding
others and the demotivators and the last one
who are committing the maasi You have the
righteous people who are also doing the da
'wah and you have the wrongdoers who are
demotivated who are categorized into two categories The
one who is committing the sin and the
one who is demotivating those people who are
giving the advice When the good ones are
giving the advice the blame by the middle
ones They said why are you wasting your
time inviting people that you know Allah swt
will get rid of them What did he
tell them?
They said We want Allah swt to see
our excuse You know we want Allah swt
to see that we are doing our part
You get what I'm saying?
You want Allah swt to see that you
are doing your part They said and also
we don't know Maybe yesterday wasn't clear to
them but today if I go to them
the time is conducive enough for them to
understand what I'm saying They will be able
to accept me Allah swt said When
they forgot that which they were reminded with
Allah swt says We protected who?
The people who are advising people not to
do the wrongdoing How about the rest?
Allah swt says We got them with that
which they deserve But the question here is
Who is that that was punished by Allah
swt?
Was it the people who are committing the
sin?
Or even the middle man who are not
giving the dawah Many scholars said both of
them are involved because he says we saved
the one who is advising people to do
good and he did not talk about and
he said we punished the criminals the perpetrators
of the sin we punished them and then
he kept quiet he did not say anything
about the middle ones The scholar said since
he says the only one who is saved
is the righteous person who is doing the
advice The others Allah swt says we punished
the wrongdoers If a person lives in a
place where people need his contribution of the
dawah and he doesn't give them that contribution
Is he a wrongdoer?
Yes That's why the punishment also is applicable
on the middle ones So my dear brothers
and sisters Sabr sabr and use the best
method when you are giving dawah Noah never
used one method Go to surah Noah and
see the method mentioned by Allah swt to
us He went to them in the daytime
He went to them at night, he went
to them in secret He went to them
in public He went to them individually, he
went to them in group He used all
types of methods None of them seems to
work And this is actually a message to
us that you should use in your dawah
the best method you believe inshallah will convince
the one that you are inviting to the
truth Dawah my dear brothers and sisters is
not about informing that person about what to
do It's about using the best method to
convince him about what you're seeing That was
what Rasulullah s.a.w. was doing The
man came to the Prophet s.a.w.
and said Ya Rasulullah, I want you to
give me permission to commit zina Who is
he asking?
Rasulullah, right?
Imagine he goes to the mufti or one
of the big scholars and ask this question
and his students are all there Who can
defend that man?
Nobody But he was asking Rasulullah s.a
.w. He said I want to commit zina
The Prophet s.a.w. said the companions
were They're almost going to hit him.
The Prophet s.a.w. said no He
asked me He asked him to sit down.
The man sat down.
He said He said I have a question
for you.
He said this thing that you wanted to
do, the zina you want to commit Do
you want this to happen to your mother?
He said no.
How about your sister?
He said no.
How about your wife?
No.
How about this and that?
He mentioned all of those sisters in his
house and the man was saying no, no,
no He said but the one that you're
going to commit zina with her, she's either
the mother of somebody or the sister of
somebody Those guys also they don't want to
see this happen to their family members Don't
you think this is unfair?
Subhanallah You know this very simple way simple
approach by Rasulullah s.a.w. is more
than enough for him to accept change his
mind He become a very good and righteous
person in the Muslim communities Wallahi we need
to learn from Rasulullah s.a.w. There
are a lot to share with you about
the manhaj of the Prophet s.a.w.
in dawah He differentiate between people You know
a person to another person The villagers when
they come to him there is a way
he gives dawah to them The people in
the city there is a way he gives
dawah to them The most tolerant person and
patient person was Rasulullah s.a.w. Somebody
came to the masjid of Rasulullah s.a
.w. and he was he looked for a
place the place where he wanted and he
peed Which masjid is that?
Masjid Shah?
Which masjid?
Not masjid Shah Masjid of Rasulullah s.a
.w. The companions were almost going to hit
him and they shouted at him.
They couldn't be patient because this is masjid.
Rasulullah s.a.w. said la tuthrimu He
said la tuthrimu.
La tuthrimu means la taqta'u alaihi bawlahu
Do not cut off his urine Subhanallah even
the way Rasulullah s.a.w. put it
you can see gentleness and softness.
It's like he's not doing something wrong.
He said don't cut him off let him
continue because if a person is passing urine
and you shout at him you might cause
him problem in his life.
Health issue.
Rasulullah s.a.w. said do not cut
him off let him continue So they let
him.
They watched because this is Rasulullah.
After he finished Rasulullah s.a.w. called
him If this is the reaction of the
companions you can anticipate what would be the
reaction of the leader then But then subhanallah
he came to the Prophet s.a.w.
and Rasulullah s.a.w. and he commanded
the companions also to go and clean the
place not him.
He told them to go and clean the
place.
They learn also how to deal with issues
like this and also there is another benefit
right because this man who came to the
masjid and pee.
What does that mean?
He's an ignorant person.
He can do anything right.
If they shout and he got scared what
will happen?
Keep on running and going around the masjid
right So at least now they have to
clean one position but now they have to
clean every part of the masjid and also
showing you aura to somebody.
Halal or haram?
Haram.
If they scare him these are the villagers
the villagers.
Does he mind to run in the presence
of everyone?
No The scholars are trying to extract benefit
from the saying of the Prophet s.a
.w. benefit from the saying of the Prophet
s.a.w. But then you know what
the Prophet s.a.w. told him He
said these places are not appropriate for anything
like this that meant for salah, dhikr of
Allah s.w.t Subhanallah he was so
happy in a way he even went out
of the masjid.
He says ya Allah I ask you to
show mercy upon me and Muhammad only He
was referring to who?
To the companions who shouted at him.
He said Do not show mercy upon anyone
after me and Muhammad s.a.w. And
then Rasulullah s.a.w. called him back
He said come, come, come.
He said come on The mercy of Allah
s.w.t is too big.
What am I going to do with it
me and you alone?
Let other people also get the share from
this mercy of Allah s.w.t If
you go through the seerah of the Prophet
s.a.w. you will see a lot.
As I said a da'i has to
go and read about the seerah of the
Prophet s.a.w. to see how to
make da'wah.
Mus'ab ibn Umair in Medina when Sa'd
ibn Mu'adh came and Husayn ibn Hudair
they came to him and subhanallah when they
start shouting, they start fighting Mus'ab did
not fight which is contrary to our behavior
nowadays.
They fight I fight also.
And Rasul you have to understand that you
have a message to convey These people they
don't think that you are doing any favor
to them.
You know, you're just like a trader, a
businessman.
If you shout at the customer, they will
not come back again You have to understand
this.
When the guy was shouting, he was shouting,
Mus'ab ibn Umair told him Oh, he
says no need to go for this.
He says if you don't mind, if you
don't mind please, if you don't mind, you
can sit down I will tell you what
I have If it is not good for
you and you think you don't want to
hear it, please do let me know.
I promise to keep quiet.
I will never let you hear it again
The man said, oh, that's really fair You
know, it was enough for him.
The way he was talking to him, it
was enough for him.
So he sat down and Mus'ab ibn
Umair read Quran to him Subhanallah, he accepted
Islam immediately That's the power of leniency.
Prophet SAW said مَا كَانَ الْرِفْقُ فِي شَيْنِ
إِلَّا زَانَهُ وَلَا نُزِعَ مِن شَيْنِ إِلَّا شَانَهُ.
Rifq has never been placed in leniency softness,
gentleness when giving da'wah.
If you put it in the da'wah
you will make it beautiful You remove it
from the da'wah you will make that
da'wah ugly So please, my dear brothers
and sisters, study the seerah of the Prophet
SAW when you are giving the da'wah
Make sure you study and master the seerah
to see how the Prophet SAW managed to
convince people within the period of 20-30
years.
So there are so many ayat which I
cannot pass through each and every one of
them so I will just move to the
last part of the story.
So Nuh AS tried to convince them.
Nobody is willing to except for the period
of 950 years After that Nuh made da
'wah against them He told them, Ya Allah
I have been defeated These people made me
weak and I don't believe that there is
anything good left in these people.
Even their children when they come they become
kuffar and worse than them.
Allah SWT says Nuh invited us and he
asked us for support and Allah SWT says
we definitely supported him.
So when he made this da'wah against
them, Allah commanded him to make that ship.
There are so many narrations from the Israiliyat
about how long does it take him to
make that ship and the size and the
length and the width of the ship.
These are not important matters What matters is
that Nuh AS was commanded by Allah to
make the ship.
And Allah says we will teach you We
will reveal to you how to make it
So it's based on the wahi of Allah
SWT Put this here, put this there That's
how he provided the ship So he made
that ship and subhanAllah the ship is on
the yabisa.
Yabisa means dry land.
Ship doesn't work on a dry place Ship
doesn't work on a dry place.
You have to provide a good environment for
the ship to move.
So when the people came and they found
Nuh AS making the ship because the companies
that are producing the ship, I think they
are next to the sea, next to the
ocean After that they push it inside We
don't come to the middle of the city
and you make ship in that place.
How do you carry it to the sea
then?
When they see him in the middle of
the city they are not next to a
river or water or sea.
They started making fun of him They make
fun of him Today you become a carpenter
Nuh AS used to tell them You are
doing this now?
We are going to replace you We will
do it also against you later.
SubhanAllah He told them you are going to
know You will see what Allah is preparing
for you.
So because the wrath of Allah is going
to be in the place and it will
dominate every single part of the earth.
Allah commanded Nuh AS to invite all the
animals the animals to take two pairs male
and female from any animal that was there
So Nuh did.
That's why some scholars said the ship has
three levels The down level the lower one
is for the animals.
The middle one is for the human beings
and the top is for the birds These
are all Israiliyat.
As I said what matters is Nuh made
the ship and Allah SWT protected him and
those people who are inside So Allah SWT
says So Nuh finished the ship in the
way Allah SWT commanded him I already know
that.
I have my head here Allah guide you
across So Allah SWT brought the water for
him He says The punishment of Allah SWT
comes in the form of rain.
Not in the way we know the rain
coming to us bit by bit which is
beneficial to us That's where we manage to
live Our houses manage to survive Our plantations
manage to survive But in time of Nuh
Allah SWT says The heavens open and the
water is just pouring That's Rabbul Alameen when
he is angry.
He asked the earth also to just open
so the water is coming from the earth
and from the sky.
That's why nothing survived except those who are
inside the ship The ship went up Nuh
he met one of his children because he
has Sam, Yafith and Yam and Ham Four
children mentioned by the historian.
The Yam is the one that is wrong
according to the history So Nuh saw him
and this is one of the best moments
that I want you to go out of
this hole with Nuh, he saw his son
swimming on the sea So he told him
He said son come and be with us
because we know according to the history that
the wife of Nuh did not accept him
and his son also one of his children
also refused to accept him.
They were kufar So he told them come
and be with us The son said no
There is a mountain there he thought maybe
the rain will not be able to reach
the mountains The scholar said based on the
saying of Allah SWT When the water went
beyond all the limitations they said no mountains
on earth that was not covered by the
by the flood So that boy thought that
he can be saved when he goes to
the mountain but Allah SWT said the son
was replying Nuh AS he told him no
I have a better place there Nuh told
him He told him son there is nothing
that can protect you from the punishment of
Allah SWT except his mercy and the mercy
of Allah is here come with us He
said no I have a better choice that
he will die in kufr Allah SWT let
him be taken by strong waves He was
among those people who lost their life Who
was saved during that time?
Only those people who were with Nuh AS
How many are they?
Some of the scholars said they were around
80 people Some of the scholars said they
were around 80 and I have another one
says 72 I have another one said only
10 people accepted Nuh 950 years of dawah
only 10 people accepted him Some scholars said
actually this is wrong The only people who
accepted Nuh were his 3 children and their
wives only and the wife of Yam Whatever
the case might be Allah says Allah says
only a few accepted him and those are
the only ones who are saved Nuh told
him Nobody can protect you from Allah except
the mercy of Allah SWT That's why Imam
Malik was right He says Please my dear
brothers and sisters always remember this Imam Malik
and Abdullah Ibn Mubarak One of them or
both of them They said What is the
sunnah?
The sunnah of the Prophet SAW They said
It is just like the ship of Nuh
Whoever went inside the ship he will pass
and escape the punishment and whoever refuses to
use that ship will be drawn by the
flood In this time of ours nothing can
save you except that which is mentioned by
the Prophet SAW in the hadith of Ibn
Saria When they asked him How can we
protect ourselves?
He says He said Hold upon my sunnah
and the sunnah of the Khalifa of Rashidun
Nothing can protect you from the evil that
is around us nowadays except being a very
dedicated person especially when it comes to the
sunnah of Muhammad SAW So read about Rasulullah
read about his sunnah and make sure that
whatever you know to be part of that
which the Prophet SAW mentioned is being practiced
by you and don't worry, Allah SWT restricted
guidance to be taken only from that which
the Prophet SAW left it with Imam Shafi
'i has a very nice statement when he
says من تعلم الحديث قوية عجته If you
learn the hadith, your side of evidence is
going to be very powerful and strong So
the only solution we have for all the
predicament and obstacles and hardship we have in
this life is to follow the sunnah of
Muhammad SAW It sounds very conservative but trust
me my dear brothers and sisters, that's the
only way out Your smartness, your creativity your
wisdom will never benefit you.
The only thing that can take you out
of these problems that we are facing nowadays
is following the Shariah of Allah SWT That's
what Nuh meant to bring that person in
the Safina so that he can change and
repent to Allah SWT but he refused and
Qadar of Allah SWT went in between and
he got to be destroyed among those people
who are killed by Rabbul Alameen So Allah
SWT says at the end when everything is
gone nothing survive and live except those people
they are the only one who are protected
because of their Iman.
Allah SWT says we told the earth to
take back any water that it brought out
and the summer Allah SWT said to the
sky to stop bringing down the rain and
the water subsided and the ship of Nuh
became settled on the mountain which is called
Aljudi Where is it?
And knowing the place where this mountain exists
is not necessary and it's not important at
all.
It doesn't increase any of your Iman.
That's why we shouldn't go and pay attention
to whatever somebody might be telling you.
Maybe this is the place, maybe that's the
place So we know that Allah protected them
and brought the ship to that place After
this happened I'm almost done Waqas.
After this happened, Nuh AS said to Allah
SWT He said Ya Allah, you promised to
protect me and my family members He said
And my son is one of my family
members and he is among those people who
are destroyed.
He said And he is among those people
who are destroyed So he is asking Allah
SWT based on the promise Allah SWT gave
him to save him and his family members
Allah SWT told him No He is not
one of your family members.
Some scholars said because the wife of Nuh
AS committed zina, the mother of this one
who was a kafir also.
They said she committed zina.
But Ibn Kathir says this is wrong and
false statement because according to the history there
was no prophet who ever married a woman
who was a zaniya They might commit kufr
but zina, no There was no wife of
a prophet who was committing zina They are
always decent in this regard.
But they deceived their prophet of not showing
their true image So they were kuffar The
wife of Nuh AS and the wife of
Nuh AS And they went to * because
of this And then Allah SWT told us
what he meant He says the reason why
he is not part of your family members
because of evil deed.
He wasn't a righteous person.
So that means the true family of yours
is somebody who is righteous The true family
of yours is the one who is righteous
And the protection you have for your family
is to give them good tarbiyah Then Allah
SWT will stand for them In Surah Al
-Kahf Allah SWT commanded Khidr to go and
fix the wall to protect the wealth of
who?
The orphans Two yateen.
Why was that?
Because the father was a righteous person Sayyidina
Ibn Masayyib said I used to increase my
righteousness sometimes so that my kids will get
full protection from Allah SWT So nobody succeed
except those people who are with Nuh AS
So Allah blamed Nuh for asking him that
question.
And then after that Allah told him to
come down come out of the ship and
come down to earth from the mountain And
then Allah SWT told us in another surah
that They said Nuh AS after the destruction
of his people, he lived for 60 years
and the only one who remains to produce
new generation of human beings are the children
of Nuh AS only.
The rest of the people with Nuh AS
they never, they were not able to produce
any children That's why Nuh is the second
father of human beings Our lineage goes back
to Nuh AS regardless of our races Scholars
taking from the Isra'iliyya they link human
beings to those three children of Adam AS
I'm sorry two children of Nuh AS So
after that Allah SWT make this conclusion which
I will leave you with He said to
the Prophet SAW He
said these are the stories of the unseen
None of you knows anything about the story
of Nuh and we reveal them to you
and this is the only true story about
Nuh AS Allah SWT says Nobody knows anything
about these people so we have told you
about what happened so you now know about
the principles that can lead a person to
success and those principles that can lead a
person to failure.
What left for you is to follow the
process of the principles of success you will
also receive the success in your life.
If you follow those principles of failure you
will also fail in your life that's why
Allah SWT says because the final and the
good end is always on the side of
the good ones so my dear brothers and
sisters it was my wish that we have
a lot of time but revivers are always
stingy.
They give only a few minutes for the
first session and the second session so I
have to stop before finishing everything otherwise this
is a very very interesting story if we
are to go to the details mentioned by
Allah SWT but I do believe in that
which we mentioned is more than enough for
each and every one of us to understand
what responsibility is all about and how to
live a successful life and what is the
meaning of success the true success in life
is not defined by how much you have
how much famous you are it is defined
by how much honest you are to Rabbul
Alameen therefore my dear brothers and sisters be
good, be righteous make sure that whatever you
are doing is in line with that which
Allah SWT wants you to do.
Don't innovate in your religion and don't introduce
something new stick to that which the Prophet
SAW brought to you and maintain your righteousness
whatever you have doubt in it in this
religion of ours, in this life of ours
please my dear brothers and sisters stay away
from it.
Rasulullah SAW said Halal is clear and Haram
is clear there are doubtful matters sometimes if
you are not clear about something ask the
scholars if you couldn't find anyone to enlighten
you the Prophet SAW said stay away from
it this is the manhaj that I chose
for myself and I am choosing it for
you if you want to take it but
I think this is the only correct way
for all of us to go with the
Halal no matter how much little it is
don't worry Allah SWT will make it more
and put barakah in it don't you ever
be deceived by the huge and abundance amount
of wealth which is taken from the Haram
sources Rabbul Alamin promised that any money that
is generated from Haram the end of it
it will be qillah, khasarah and loss and
he promised in the Quran that he will
remove any barakah that exists in Haram money
stay away from riba, stay away from shubha
stick to that which is Halal stay away
from the Haram, shubha which you are not
sure just stay away from it by doing
this Rasulullah SAW said you will be able
to protect your religion and also your honor
and dignity, so my dear brothers and sisters
be good and be patient sabr sabr sabr
and also extend the good to others, don't
keep the good with yourself, be a da
'i be a da'i, whenever you see
somebody doing something wrong, be patient don't be
high temper, then go and shout sit with
him, invite them to your own place talk
to them in a nice way, in a
very gentle way always remember that if they
die in this condition, they will go to
* if Allah SWT doesn't forgive them, if
they are Muslimin if they are not Muslim,
if they die in that condition they will
go to * that was one of the
biggest motivating factors that were motivating the prophets
and the messengers of Allah SWT to keep
on being patient because they know that the
consequence is destruction in this dunya and also
problem in the hereafter when they meet Allah
SWT so sabr sabr my dear brothers and
sisters fix your words when you approach a
person and give him da'a remember that
this is the religion of Allah it's not
your religion and as such you have to
convey it in the right way don't just
convey anyhow do it in the way the
prophets of Allah SWT used to do it
your aim should be how to convince them
to see the truth and to accept it
not how to inform them they might have
known this before you but now we are
looking for somebody who can convince them through
good manners, good behaviour, good attitude if Allah
SWT said to Musa to go to Firaun
and be lenient and gentle the people we
are living in, many of them are not
up to Firaun if Allah asked Musa to
be gentle and lenient why can't you do
the same thing to the people who are
next to you may Allah grant us good
and tawfiq and ability to maintain our righteousness
and also to pass this righteousness to others
and to be patient until we meet him
inna huwa bikul jameel al-kafeel subhanaka Allahumma
wa bihamdik ashadu an la ilaha illa anta
astaghfirullah assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh assalamualaikum we
are done with the Q&A session unfortunately
we are behind schedule so we can only
do like one or two questions please forgive
us though you can ask your questions in
the weekly classes that are held we can
just do one because of the time unfortunately
by 10.30 by 10.30 so like
what is the difference between a nabi and
a rasool I already mentioned that the difference
between a nabi and a rasool a nabi
is somebody who receives wahy from Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala and he is not commanded
to but he does dawah to the people
in the community rasool is somebody who receives
a message from Allah and he is commanded
to convey the message he will go to
the people and tell them Allah send me
to you usually bringing new sharia to people
who are not muslim so these are the
major differences between rasool and nabi next question
two hours left alhamdulillah how do we find
contentment or happiness in not knowing if we
will see the results of our efforts or
not you don't need to do that all
that you have to do if you are
looking for contentment and peace of mind just
follow the sharia of the prophet of Allah
trust me following the sharia of Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala and the book of Allah
not compromising any part of it brings comfort
and peace of mind and that's the only
way for you to get it because this
is the one this is the only way
that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala the creator
of everyone told us we can only attain
peace of mind and tranquility of the heart
may Allah grant us good while we do
that i think you can do one more
is the nation that have been punished in
this dunya such as the people of nuh
will be punished also in the akhira and
enter definitely whoever dies in kufr will never
go to paradise forever so that's the initial
punishment here and in the hereafter also they
will receive the worst which will be endless
will never end may Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala protect us no the one who is
a muslim and he is a wrongdoer if
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala did not forgive
him he will be punished according to the
sin but at the end of the day
he will be taken to paradise but wallahi
only a loser will accept this to have
a transit in * only a loser will
accept this and then one day in *
to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is equivalent
to 1000 years and you know * is
so hot in the way the prophet subhanahu
wa ta'ala said it's like 70 times
of the hottest fire that you find in
this dunya of ours so don't choose this
always choose the way to bypass * not
to see * in your life except when
crossing the sirat may Allah grant us good
