Ibrahim Nuhu – Riyad Us Saliheen – Hadith 743
AI: Summary ©
The speakers discuss the importance of respecting "has been" in the context of the book "has been," as it refers to a person who attempted to stop people from reaching the truth. They emphasize the need to stay in the path of peace and not be satisfied with the way people eat, as sickness is a sign of the beginning of a journey. The speakers also emphasize the importance of managing one's health and staying healthy to achieve personal health and happiness.

So be the lions, we continue from where
we stopped the last, those,
which I believe is a
new chapter. Right?
Harish al Wasi.
We did not talk about that question.
Just talk about the Wasi himself.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay. So last last week,
we read this hadith.
But I guess we did not make any
commentary on it because we talk about the
narrator,
Washi,
a companion of the prophet
the
one who killed Khazan and
accepted Islam later.
And
participated in
the battles,
especially
the battle of,
Yamah,
between
Muslimeen
the Muslimeen and,
Musalimuddin
Khidab, the false prophet.
And he was the one
according to the most famous, you know, information
he went to us by the history. He
was the one who killed wash.
And, so he takes this as a very
great
job. He did which he sees it as
the compensation
of what he did wrong.
So what he thinks is correct because
getting rid of a false prophet,
you know, in the Ummah
is really a big
that's the reason why the Muslims in those
days,
they do not waste time because the existence
of those entities is very dangerous
in the nation.
That's why as Sunnis Qala said, that's why
the sunnah of Allah, subhanahu wa ta'ala, these
kind of entities,
they don't live longer.
This is too risky
for the life and the deen of the
people to have these people around them.
In Yerush, Iran is using them to come
and block
the means people can get the truth
from completely.
So they exist at the time of the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.
After the prophet
also, until today also, you still have people
claiming to be
to be
prophets.
Yeah. Until today,
they they are they claim that they are
the prophets of messengers, sometimes Mahdi, sometimes Israel,
Somalia.
Somebody called me from one of the countries.
I heard about him,
but when he called and then he did
he told me he's east of the Miami.
Very pathetic, you know, subhanallah,
kind of mentality. You pity him the way
he he talks. Typical,
ignorant, and and
somebody who has mental illness, but SubhanAllah, Sha'an
is using it. And whoever is trying to
tell him the truth, he sees him as
a
dajjal.
A long stand.
So a couple of them exist and the
prophet said
that is going to be
around
30 people who are claiming to be
prophets.
Each and every one of them is claiming
to be a prophet or a messenger Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala.
You mentioned how many that
and if you count from the time of
the prophet, salawahu alaihi wa sama up to
our time.
How many people have been
coming and claiming to be prophets and the
messengers?
A lot. That's why this caller said most
likely, your soon as a Muslim is talking
about those who will be having influences.
Those who have influence.
Not everyone, because we have them a lot.
And so, a person
in one of the countries,
visited.
And this person, people are calling him al
Mahdi.
So I asked, what is the story behind
him? They said he just came to the
Bastille one day after Jum'ah,
and then he told people people,
do you remember that Rasoolah sallallahu
alaihi is coming? They said yes.
He said,
You have a lot of characters in this
dunya.
He's a ramblower. So then, people just remove
his name. They start calling him mad. It's
easy as majnu.
Because these are the signs of the day
of judgement
that cannot be hidden, you
know. Cannot be hidden at all. When mad
he comes,
we don't need each jihad to understand whether
this is Mahdi or not.
Because you are on a path that is
very straightforward.
Respecting Allah, respecting the prophets of Allah, respecting
the deen.
The most important
information you have
is the
Quran and the Sunnah of the prophet of
Allah.
You're very humble and obedient,
stopping in the place where Allah wants to
let
you.
Some of these people, you know, from the
beginning if you see the way that they
are things go, you can predict
most likely this person is gonna conclude like
this.
And subhanallah, you see the man on the
day, either claiming to be Mahdi or somebody
who is infallible, you know?
The beginning of the journey can tell you
most likely where is this person going to
end.
So the only protection you have
against sheikhan using you
to reach
his
goals. Is to stick to that which was
brought by the prophet Muhammad Ali
Hassan. So alhamdulillah. We thank Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala and hold hold upon this, you know,
path.
Our scholars, this is their path. That's why
their life was
runs very smoothly.
They had no issues.
We live in a time whereby,
you know,
People have
issues. A lot of issues.
Because we are not willing to submit in
the way they submitted.
We think we have the capacity also to
come up with our own version, so we
get lost at the end of the day.
Neither preserve that which is given to us
And not being able also
to enjoy what we introduce.
And we put initially
the state of
chaos. So,
was the one who killed Hamza. And also
during the battle of Yamama, he killed
So he says
Some of the companions of the prophet salallahu
alayhi wa sama said, you Rasulullah,
sometimes we eat. However,
we are not satisfied. You need to eat
more. We eat, but the need is always
there.
We're not full. We're not satisfied.
The prophet said,
perhaps,
the reason might
be that you get separated when you eat.
Rather than eating together,
you eat
separated.
Right?
You know that do you know that food,
when you are together, the Barakah
is more.
You are when you're not eating alone, you
eat with others, the barakah is
more.
That's why for those of you who have
family
and you have more children,
you know. You will see, sometimes the amount
of the food
you used to eat, you and your wife
when you're alone.
The same thing she is cooking, but it
suffices 2, 3 more children that exist in
the house.
Yeah. Why is that? Because of that, the
barakah. The prophet
The food that is meant for 1 person
will suffice
2.
And the food that is meant for 2
will suffice
3.
And there we go.
The more you have people, the more bulk
they have any food.
Although this hadith is read, but Amin is
correct. We take it from some other
narrations. Right? He says,
Perhaps the cause might be that you guys
are separating yourself.
This one is eating alone.
That which one person takes to eat alone,
Trust me, if you invite somebody, both of
them can eat it. And they're okay.
Okay. Okay.
Because as a Muslim, we're not supposed to
to eat and we we are very full.
We don't understand this.
That's why we have a lot of sickness,
you know. It's very important
to eat food when you need it.
Trust me, my dear brothers and sisters, make
your life like this.
Eat food when you need.
Now, because sometimes we program our life
in a way, I have to take breakfast.
I have to take the dinner. I have
to take the
I miss the lunch.
So sometimes,
I did take my breakfast and it was
heavy.
I'm still full during the lunchtime.
But the system tells me I have to
take lunch.
What I do, I go I eat.
I put food on top of that one,
which is not yet
digested.
And Khaldun says, is one of the major
causes of sickness that a person is is
getting, which he doesn't know what what is
the cause.
And according to his explanation,
you know, he says because
when you eat food, the system will be
busy
trying to,
you know,
filter
what is not supposed to be there.
And digest the food,
you know, eliminate the things which are wrong
and then send the food to the proper
places correctly.
When you take the new one, now the
system is going to be busy with
with the new one and neglects the old
one.
Yeah. So the old one is going to
be
sent to places without
being properly eliminated.
I mean the toxins and the bad things
they are not properly eliminated.
I'm trying to quote his explanation.
He said that's why sometimes you've got fever.
That's why sometimes you got headache. Because something
is going to the wrong place at a
long time.
I found it very interesting. And
SubhanAllah, they say, oh, even Khaldun is saying
this and that, you know.
Even if you don't want to accept even
Khaldun,
I believe he is correct
in his approach that he's wrong
for a person to eat food when he
doesn't need it.
But Rasulullah
Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam said,
We are
You never make a bag or sack full.
That is worse than your stomach.
The worst place that you make it full
is your stomach.
He says,
it has been rain. Please listen to this,
sir. It has been
It is enough
for a human being to take a few
spoons
that will strengthen his backbone.
You're hungry, you burnt, you cannot walk properly.
But prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said,
eat what removes the hunger.
And be suffice with that.
Move forward.
You give your body what it needs.
Properly digested.
Deal with it in a good way. And
it's not that much. It was sent properly
properly to the places and you maintain health.
However, there are some of us who will
not agree with this system.
Right? They want to eat more.
Since rasulullah
did not say it's haram, but he just
advised you now. He said,
take note here that the worst thing that
you're making full is your stomach.
It is not supposed to be
to be filled with food.
He said, if you think you have to
go for more,
then
divide your stomach into 3 parts.
1 for your food,
1 for your drinks
and one for you your breathing.
Nowadays,
honest speaking, which one we take among
both advices?
Technically, none.
Even the second one also accepts.
I might divide my stomach now
for this moment. After one hour I take
another food before this one finish, so I'm
adding on top of that.
What kind of division is that?
Playing games with my with myself. Right?
Professor
You will love very good and worthy life.
That's why I always tell you, please buy
a book called
These are the scholars. He wrote that book
on the way to Hajj al Islam.
Almost 5 and they apologized to another matter.
When
it comes to food, Imam Al Qaim says
that manhaj of Rasulullah SAWS is the best
of the manhaj.
See the way the prophet
is eating food is the best way to
eat food.
I will love. The way he sit, the
way he eats, the choice of food, the
kind of food the prophet salallahu alaihi wa
sallam. One
of the beautiful things I found, you know,
everything about his sunnah is beautiful.
One of the most enjoyable things I find
in the prophet
always focus on
the fresh things.
Yeah. Al Qaeda says he doesn't keep food,
so that in the morning his wife will
warm it up for him to eat it.
No.
What does that tell you?
It takes what he needs.
Yeah. It takes what he needs.
Do you eat in our canteens?
You go to the country. I used to
go and buy food
from time to time. Sometimes you see on
a on a table,
half of the plate has been left by
the people they already left. They couldn't eat
it.
I don't know what that but you you
see that or you don't. Right?
What do you call
that?
Tavil.
It's tavil.
And do we have excuse? We don't.
If I go and buy the food which
is already packaged
and I come by, couldn't eat it, all
I can understand
Because I wasn't the one who put it.
They already put it like that and I
don't have any choice except to buy the
way it is.
But in our place,
we choose what we want. So I take
the plate. I don't know how how is
it.
Whenever I go to that place, you know,
I see that you take a plate. You
know? You go and take what you want
and then go to the cashier and pay
the money. Right?
You never know at this stage, you never
know the the size of your stomach.
Until now, you're doing the experiment to see
whether you can eat this or not.
E will Allah, we have to think
wisely.
And then tomorrow if I'm not the one
who is sponsored in my education,
I'll be broke.
Because rather than spending
5 ringgit, you know, I went and spent
10 ringgit for something that I would keep
it to be thrown in the garbage place.
You get it? Why can't I save
that money for the future reference?
You have some other things that will come
on board. Not everything, you know, you go
back to your parents.
Yeah, you have to act as a responsible
person.
The parent should know that yes, you're responsible.
You know what you're doing.
That's why sometimes, trust me. That's why sometimes
when you go back to your parent and
you tell them, I want to marry. They
tell you what? No.
Finish your education first.
Because they still see you as an immature
person.
But you manage to work properly.
You share with them the success.
Actually, that last time you gave me 300
ringgit per month.
But to be honest with you, I did
not put myself into difficulty but this is
how I managed the the wealth because I
don't see,
you know, reasonable for me to just buy
random anyhow and I'm gonna throw it away.
Why I make myself so full in the
way I get harmed?
So I eat moderately. I don't punish myself.
I don't make life very tough. But I
have this balance of money left.
So, and I believe it's good to manage
my health properly. Trust me, your father is
going to appreciate this.
And they know that they're dealing with man.
The next day, if you're going to ask
him for something,
be it the light, Allah, he will not
hesitate to approve because he knows he's dealing
with somebody who is mature in light.
So as soon as the prophet, salallahu alayhi
salamah, is supposed to be observed in all
circumstances.
I'm saying this, because we're having this class
in our university, so we start with ourselves.
Right?
When you go to buy, buy what you
can afford eating.
Yeah. That little amount of food which you're
throwing away and sometimes huge amount.
Allah, it is better for you to buy
a fresh one and go and look for
somebody who
couldn't eat what you're eating. Invite.
I'm pretty sure in this university, we have
some people who are going through financial difficulties.
Look for them.
Brother, come and share with me.
Give him the money. Let him go and
buy.
Yeah. You get big reward. Allah's mother will
replace it for you and you make him
happy.
You increase friends.
Yeah. You don't know. You don't know.
Tomorrow, you might need them. You're not doing
it for that. But this is how life
it is.
As they say in the wisdom,
kindness
doesn't get old.
The The one who is kind to you,
whenever you see him you remember that kindness.
So we don't do it for that. We
do it for Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, but
trust me this is how life it is.
Sometimes you might be in a place.
A person will come and take you out
of that obstacle
and maybe he might tell you, you don't
know last time.
You forgot. Remind me that, yes, we met
last time. Time. And you did this this
and me. And for me, this is the
least
I can provide.
With. You will we have passed through with
this.
Yeah. I'm at the prison.
You know, subhallah. I got stuck in something
so,
I have my own way out.
But then,
subhanallah, I was trying to beg the people
just give me a chance a few minutes
ago and get it. There is somebody behind.
That person settled the pain.
I look at them.
What is the connection between me and them?
And then they told me that this the
little we can pay you with.
You are more.
That's exactly what I'm referring to. I had
to fight back for me to compensate the
Madeira. You don't want to go fight.
So just giving you as an example,
kindness.
When you do, you don't know what will
happen in in the future. We didn't do
it for that. We're doing it for Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. May Allah accept it, but
this is how Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is
letting the system function.
Do good, you will receive
good in my hands, sir.
So please be moderate.
Your eating for your own benefits. The balance
of the money,
invest for your akhirah.
Give somebody who is in need of it.
It's better for you. Save it for your
future need. It's better for you than going
against this, principle and getting yourself into into
trouble.
So back to hadith, the prophetess Allahu Soma
said, most likely when you eat, you guys
are separating yourself. Everyone is eating alone.
As I said, this is my experience.
If we eat alone at home, trust me,
every single person has his own
bunch of
food. Right? The other one also has if
you put it all together is huge.
But whenever we eat together,
trust me, the amount is very little. And
everyone eat to his satisfactory
level.
Desire doesn't finish, you know. Food is so
tasty. You eat, you keep on eating, eating
until the time you get harmed.
You don't know what to do. Sometimes you
vomit. Sometimes
you you will become in a very, you
know, in
uncomfortable life.
Uncomfortable situation
Because whenever you lie down to sleep, the
food comes here and you have to sit
down. You know, sometimes you have to walk.
Sometimes you have to go and look for
something that can
help you to have a very loose stomach
to relax.
Yeah, rojod. At the first place, why don't
you just eat little
and keep the balance for later and come
and enjoy it.
And it doesn't even make sense because if
I like it, what does that mean?
I keep it for longer. Right? This is
the best way to make it.
I keep it for longer. When I like
it, I keep it for longer. So eat
a bit.
Keep it for next day.
Bring it again, so I can have more
days
of enjoyment, you know. But now I put
it all together.
I enjoy in few minutes and then later
on I suffer a sickness.
The enjoyment is gone. And sometimes also it
creates a bit of sensitivity between me and
that food. The
sunnah of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam is
always interested if we follow it correctly. You
will love. Hismanages for your own benefit.
Don't eat a lot. Eat a bit.
What you need, and that's it.
You eat sometimes a bit more. No problem.
But make sure general behavior,
don't eat a lot. And as I said,
don't have this schedule and program that I
have to do this. I have to do
that. No. Eat when you need.
The
prophet
said don't be separated.
Come together.
Eat together in one place.
And when you are eating, say Bismillah,
Allah would put barakah in the food.
This is in each chapter that we'll talk
about, the command of the Prophet Muhammad
to the people whenever they eat, they eat
from the side of the plate.
Not the middle.
Eat from the side, not from the middle.
And the prophet said
in the hadith of Umar ibn Abi Salamah,
said in the hadith of Umar ibn Abi
Salama, he said, eat from that which is
next to next to him.
Him.
He says, al Baraka.
Baraka. We know Baraka. Right? And then Baraka
is
known to everyone of us.
Baraka
is usually
coming from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala to the
middle of the foot.
The barqa when it comes, it goes to
the middle of the foot.
That's why the prophet said,
eat from the side
and go inside.
So that until the last minute, you have
the barakah in it.
From the below, the spread. So eat from
the outside.
That's why it's important for you also to
take what you what you can finish to.
Because
the buttercup might be in the last
grain of rice that you left in the
plate.
That's why rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
advises
when the food fell down,
take it and clean it and eat it.
Right? Which many of us find it?
No.
It's against
and it's shameful to do that.
It brings,
you know, shame to you.
Friends will tell you what what the
what are you doing? We still have enough
food. Please go and get it.
That's why
when it comes to practicing this type of
sunnah,
just
you get the reward from Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala.
Somebody doesn't want to do this, it's up
to you. Your food fell down, just take
it and clean it and eat it.
Somebody doesn't want to practice his cleaning.
But you do it. Unless there is somebody
who is listening to the advice of Muhammad's
followers.
Falling on
the ground.
Container.
So I'm thinking the way 4 people can
carry.
As as soon as Allah submit his generosity.
In the morning, in one of the mornings,
And
they make tariq, it's a kind of food.
It's hobs the bread. They cut in small
pieces and mix it with meat. Rasool alaihis
salam loves it so much.
So they did the 3 different inside
the pot.
For Tifbu Haula, so everyone came to have
his own portion.
Falamma Kathroob, and they became so many
around
that plate.
Is to put your knees to the ground.
You see that humble sitting, you just put
your knees to the ground. The prophetess of
Allah sits like that.
Sikhin is this?
Because the king,
the prince,
all of those
people, you know.
Yeah. They sit arrogantly
in those days.
So the Arabi, the bed when he knows
the the culture, the custom there, he says,
what kind of city is this?
The prophet Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala applied him.
He says Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
has made me
Abd Abd means his slave and noble slave
of
grace. Calling himself Abd
Suggest what? Humbleness.
Humbleness. I'm sitting
like this,
you know, to be humble.
Allah's word-of-mouth do not make me
an arrogant
person,
uneasy to be approached.
Eat from the side, don't eat from the
middle.
And leave them
the middle part and allow to barakah, insha'Allah,
from that place for your food in the
hands of shirk.
This type of sitting, inshallah,
will be explained
more in the
upcoming hadith, inshallah. So I will just leave
this to the next, das. Allah
grant us good and toffee
and be with us wherever we are.
I'm not hungry, I don't need food, but
the family are eating,
what should I do? Join
or just apologize?
I will suggest to tell them that I'm
full.
Why would you eat and harm yourself
and do something that they will understand?
Or if there is water,
you also
participate
in. Yeah.
Or drink anything that will not disturb the
digestion in in your fruit,
something like that.
Yeah. But don't eat in a way you
go and harm yourself just because you want
to.
Please lead somebody. You don't do that. You
tell them they will understand me, and Allah
has a solution.
And the second question is
about somebody who has arriba money with him.
He said, can he
lend this money to somebody else? Give him
as a law.
And then later on, he disburse the money.
Get rid of it. No, he can't.
Yeah. Because this money is not his money.
Get it? This money is not his money.
He's not supposed to keep it with you.
Yeah.
It's not supposed to keep it with you.
Support and help but not Lord because this
is not your money.
If you are giving the bus alone, you
are intending to own the money which is
rebal.
And you will be considered as a rebal
taker.
All the curses and the thing mentioned by
the sunnah will be on you
before you get rid of it. I don't
think you need this at all.
That money is not supposed to be kept,
you know, with the one who is passing
it to you. Or if you happen to
take it before,
then you have to get rid of it.
Meaning, it cannot stay with you. You have
to
