Abdulai bin Al Omar said, we used to
eat while standing and also we drink while
standing during the temple of the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam. This one is before the
night.
Ras al al al Malik, as you're gonna
see in the last hadith,
he says the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
he wants somebody not to drink while standing.
So they ask him, how about eating?
He says,
He said, this is worse. It's more evil
for a person to to eat while standing.
So that could be
the first part of
Islam, but then later on, the prophet
told them not to go for eating or
drinking while standing.
Abu
alaihi
reported hadith that says the prophet
was seen
drinking,
sometimes
qaiman, and sometimes
qaida.
So all of these hadith that we have
mentioned,
they're confirming
that, yes, that impermissibility
could be reduced to
the slikeness in the case of somebody who
is in need of it. As for the
person who doesn't need, in the normal circumstance,
it is very inappropriate for a person to
go
with the one that says, it is okay
for you to go for a drinking while
standing.
For a person to drink while standing.
That's why all of those ones, could be
the first part of
the
hijra of the prophet

prophet
told them not to do it. That could

of Anas ibn Malik in Sahih Muslim is

said he should vomit what he drunk.

you understand
how serious is is the matter because Rasool
Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam, it is his responsibility
to guide us and to tell us anything
that will, you know, protect us in this
dunya
from getting into
any trouble, Zakim Alkhi.
So he did that. There was nothing which
we need to know
that will lead us to success in this
dunya udda,
having the prophet, salallahu alayhi wasalam explained it
explaining it to us in detail.
That's why the manhad of the prophet Sallallahu

preservation of health is the Akman al Manahish.

the person who forgot to drink while standing,
he said if he can bring out that
which he took inside his stomach, that will
be better for him.
The prophet said, the
one who
forgot to drink while standing,
he should vomit whatever he he drunk. So
collectively, as I said, we can come up
with
an opinion that says
it is wrong for a person to drink
while standing.
However, if there is a need for that,
like what happened with the prophet
then a person should
I mean, is allowed to to go for
drinking while standing.
But at the first place, a person should
trace the sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam, the choice of Muhammad sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam
not to go against it no matter no
matter what.
And these type of things which, subhanallah, many
of us are believing,
calling them simple sunnah.
This is wrong. It is wrong to call
the hadith of the prophet, salallahu alayhi salamah,
simple or small
sunnah. Ma Malik,
when somebody call
something simple, which is part of their sunnah
of the prophet
he said,
See, there is no such thing in the
religion of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Everything that the prophet
guided the ummah to do is big.
And also, it doesn't make sense for a
person to
not be able to do the things that
he is calling small things, and at the
same time, he claims that he can do
the bigger ones.
If I can do the small things that
I call small things,
how is it possible for me to be
able to do the big ones?
Yeah. That's why it is always good to
follow the prophet
in everything,
including those recommendations of Rasulullah,
because if you are able to maintain them,
it will be possible for you to to
maintain
the Wajibat. It
it will be possible for you to maintain
the Wajibat.
Wazirat. This chapter will talk about
the recommendation,
the encouragement of the Sharia,
that the one who is feeding people should
be the last person to drink.
You are giving people something to drink, you
should be the last person to to drink
that thing that you're giving them.
You host people.
You are the one who's providing the food
to them. It is preferable that you should
be the last one to to eat after
after them. You get it? If it is
something that you have to pass to them
one after the other, you should be the
last last person. But if it is something
that collectively people sit and eat together, then
you just,
sit together with the people and eat, and
you can be the first one, actually. Imam
al Zarqawi
says in his
book,
strong interest to get that food.
You visited somebody,
or you are in a group of people,
and the food is being presented.
He said, if there is an owner to
that food, somebody who brought it, he should
be the 1st person to start before anybody
else, unless if he if he got permission
to to us,
or if the culture
goes with us eating before him. Because sometimes
according to the culture, when the guests bring
the food next to you, what does that
mean? Eat. You might get annoyed if he
comes back and you are still hanging around
watching watching the food. But if the culture
is not like this, they said it's for
you to to be the 1st person to
to start. But
for
the
rumblebait means the one who hosts,
people.
If he wants, he can be the one
who will host that. But as I said,
if
you are feeding people something which you have
to go one after the other, the best
is to be the last person to go
to go for it. And this is what
the prophet
time, and he was extremely hungry.

Abu Bakr came.

came,
Sahib al Jabi.
When he saw Abu Hurrah, he said, Abu

So he took Abu Horare to his house.
He went to the house and asked the
family
if there is any any food
at home. They said we have some balance
of milk, inshallah, that we can,
we can give you. So the prophet
took that milk which is very little.
You know, Abu Hurai was looking at that
milk, it is not even enough for one
of them. But then the prophet
said, Abu whatever, alhamdulillahi,
we got food, alhamdulillahi,
we got something.
He said, oh, wait a minute.
Our brothers are there in the Masjid.
Ahad al sofa.
He said, If you can just go and
invite them, let them come and share.
Uhura said
it was a very shocking moment for him
because that milk was so small, you know.
He was about to tell the prophet, salallahu
alayhi, sallam, sallam, it's better than you just
drink it alone because
even 2 of them, the the milk cannot
suffice them. But then this is the command
from the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. He
has to say yes.
So he left the Masjid.
He went and he brought
heaven. They came all of them. And, subhanallah,
these sometimes they reach 80. And even some
of them, some scholars said, sometimes they go
more than that, more than 100 people in
the Masjid, because it grows, the population in
the Masjid grows and reduces.
Yeah. These are the fuqara from the mujah
in the Anda As Sal, they have no
place, you know, they go to the Masjid,
they sleep there, they rest there, you know.
So whoever gets a job, we just leave
the Masjid, will not come back, to it
again. They're not lazy people. If it doesn't
have any
place to go, the Masjid will be the
best place for them. Get it? Because the
Masjid in time of the prophet is
very active, full of activities.
It's not just for praying, it's for almost
everything.
You know, they do training in that place.
They do,
they have their, what do you call, meetings
in that place. Prophet
meet the delegates also. People who come from
far distance, they come and play, you know,
their cultural,
things out of the masjid. You know, it's
a very, very, very important, you know, center
for the Muslim community that unites the believers.
It wasn't for prayer alone. And it's also
for that shabab, those people who have no
wife, nobody, you know, no place to go.
Sometimes no house, no wife, no nobody. They
go to the Masjid and sleep in that
in that place.
So Abu Hurairah brought
them, they went to the prophet salah salah.
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam took the the milk,
and he gave it to Abu Hurairah
and asked him 2 pass through them to
drink.
That's the second punishment. The first one go
invite them first to come and share the
milk. The second punishment,
Abu Narayas should be the one who will
go and feed each and every one of
them before he takes
Surbah,
just like what the prophet said
here, he is also applying the same thing.
So Abu Huraira
was,
he took the milk, doesn't know what will
happen. You know,
most likely in his mind
that he would never be able to get
anything from this,
this milk.
He passed it to the first one. He
drank it, twist,
full.
2nd one, until he was full. 3rd one,
and there we go, until the end of
them. Uh-huh. I was looking at the milk,
It's like they are not touching anything. SubhanAllah.
This is the mawajza,
the ayah,
the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. Just made dua
in the food, in the milk, and then
it becomes something that couldn't be finished by
those people. Until the time nobody left except
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Al Abuhurah.
And then the prophet
told him,
Nobody remains except me and you.
Who will start?
Abuhurrah said, yarsana, you go first. The prophet
said, no, you go first.
Abuhurah, I drank. He said, I drank. I
drank.
You know, I told the prophet said, I'm
satisfied. He said, one more.
Uhura said, I drag, I drag.
I told him, yeah, Rasoolallah, I'm satisfied. He
said, add more. You know, 3 times the
prophet
said, add. He said, a shulah, I don't
have any space for for any amount now.
And then the prophet
took it and and finished it completely. This
is one of the reason,
why Abu Hurriyada
became
one of the the best in terms of
memorization
because of his status.
You know, he doesn't have money. He said
If you don't see him with Rasulullah, he
ask him is Rasulullah
is not out of the house. Whenever he
sees the prophet
out of the house, he will go to
him.
The best example of somebody who is very
serious in learning is this man. The companions
of the prophet
this is actually their behavior.
Abura accepted Islam
in the year 7 of the hijrah.
That's when he lived with the prophet
only 3 years, only 3 years.
That's why the enemies of Islam had issue
with this.
They said, how is it possible for the
man who lived with Rasool, sallallahu, sallam, only
3 years, how is it possible for him
to come and narrate this huge collection of
hadith?
Nobody amongst the companions of the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallamah who was actually near Abu'ra
in terms of
memorization
and rewrite hadith. Nobody. But he lived with
the prophet
only only 3 years.
But that's Niemah from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
One of the reason is this, because he
doesn't have, you know, any money. He doesn't
have a business. That's why when he always
talk about hadith, whenever they say something, he
will say
Whenever they talk, he will say
So people started saying, akkala abhu hoorayra.
They started saying, it looks like, this person
and we have doubt in what he's saying.
How come every time kala rasool Allah every

lie? So he got annoyed one day and
he told them, he said, people, Wallahi, if
not because of,
an ayah in the book of Allah
he said
I will never agree to narrate a single
hadith to you.
I'm just doing it because there is an
ayah in Surat Al Baqarah that says those
people who are hiding their knowledge, they learn
and they don't teach others. Allah will punish
them on the day of judgement. He said,
I'm just narrating the hadith to you because
I don't want to be among those ones.
He said, if not because of this, because
of your behavior and the way you are
reacting to my narrations, I will never say
a single hadith,
but I don't want to get into trouble
with Allah. And then, subhanallah, he surprised them.
He said, actually, Hafiz
Where I? He said, I memorized
2 bags of hadith from the prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam. He said, I just opened 1
and you guys are complaining. He said, he
did not even yet open the second one.
He said, I opened one of these bags.
He categorized them according to the nature of
those Hadith.
There is a purpose behind him not mentioning
those ones.
He said those ones, I do not mention
them now, you know, to protect myself.
He said because I believe if I'm to
open the second bag, most likely my head
will leave its position.
So there these are hadith that are related
to masters of siyasa and fitin and all
of these things. Maybe some people might be
involved, so he's afraid of getting into trouble,
then he did not
mention those hadith at that time. But these
are hadith we found them, you know, from
here and there, either from him or from
somebody else because there is nothing from the
sunnah of the prophet which is hidden hidden
from us.
Enemies of the companions of the prophet
in this campaign of theirs against Abu Hurairah
and people like him. Abu Hurairah said there
was a time I was with the prophet
and then the Rasulullah
said who can bring who can take off
his garment
and put it down, I will complete my
hadith
inside the garment, and then he take it
and wear it. SubhanAllah, Mura said, that was
the quickest one. Right after I heard this
from Rasulullah, sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, he removed
his garment and put it down before anybody
else. The
prophet said whatever he wanted to say at
that time. Abura said I took it and
I put it myself.
He said, oh, Allah, I never forgot anything
I heard from the prophet after
that.
So that is the secret behind that. Right?
It's not it's not just ordinary person doing
this and that.
Rasulullah you know, made dua for him, his
nature, and this event also that took place
helped him to keep and remember everything he
heard from Rasulullah
The
last event that also contributed to this huge,
you know, and,
also excellent,
memorization
was the dua the prophet made
for him.
They reported that there was a time Abu
Hurairah was sitting, you know, he and his
two friends,
and they made an agreement
that they are going to make dua, You
know, one of them will be making dua,
and the rest of the 2 will say,
army.
Yeah. They're just sitting down talking. Okay. Let's
make dua. I will make dua, and then
my two friends will say, Abi. So Abu
Hurairah,
was the last person to make that dua.
The first one stood up, and he made
the dua.
Ask ask ask ask whatever he wants. You
know, and Abu Hurrah is saying, Amin, and,
his friend also is saying, Amin.
Then this first one finished his adiyah,
and then now in the turn of the
second one, the second one also comes,
a long dua, you know? Abu Hurah is
saying Amin, and then the friend also is
saying, Abin.
And then now we have the turn of
Abuhuriel,
who was the last person. Right?
Abuhur was about
Rasulullah told him, what are you guys doing
here? They said, yeah, Rasulullah, this is the
agreement between us.
The prophet
said, oh, can I join?
They said, yes. We're sure.
And then this is the time of the
turn of The first 2, they already finished
their deaths before the arrival of Rasulullah Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam.
The prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam joined them. Abu
Hurrah Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam joined them, Abu Hurrah
Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam when he
started making his dua, he was very smart.
Rather than spending time
doing whatever
they were doing, asking for a long door,
he says, You Allah, Allahumayinni
as saluk,
He says, yeah, Allah, I ask you to
give me what my two friends ask.
He saved his energy. He said, yeah, Allah,
whatever they ask, I I ask you, Allah,
give me what my 2 friends ask you
to give to give them. And then he
added one.
He said
he said I and I also ask you
to give me a knowledge that I will
never forget.
The prophet
said,
Amin means I ask Allah
to accept.
So when those two friends, they heard the
prophet
say in Aamin, they had strong interest in
this one because they missed this one. In
all of the adua, they never come across
this.
So when they heard this Amin from Rasulullah
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, they said, Yeah, Rasulullah,
we also
want the knowledge that we will not forget.
The prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
at Dawsi. He said,
this young
man from the tribe of those
had superseded you. It means there is one
vacancy for somebody to get it at that
moment. Abu Hurairah got it before before them.
They can look for it through somewhere else,
but at this moment, Abu Hurairah got it.
So combination of all of these
can tell you why Abu Hurairah
is the best in terms of narrating the
hadith of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam. But
now we have one question to answer, which
I believe, Insha'Allah, in your study, you're gonna
come across this.
Abdullah ibn Amr.
Abdullah ibn Amr, the son of Abdul, Amr
Bilas, is
one of the most dedicated companions of the
prophet in terms of narrating the hadith
and the Mullazam Mutin Nabi
They're a young boy,
Zahid,
and, a person who is really dedicated and
committed to to the knowledge. Abu Rirahi himself
said, he himself said because Abdul Abi Al
Amr, he was the one who went to
the prophet
and said, you Rasool Allah Quraysh told me
not to write anything that comes from you,
not to write everything that I heard from
you.
He said to Quraysh. Qurayshia, he's referring to?
Muhajirim. He's not referring to Quraysh in Mecca
because this Hari says in Madinah. Quraysh is.
Get it? They don't like what he is
doing, and they would never like anything. So
Quraysh here is referring to the Muhajiri.
Okay? So take note because there are some
who are saying Quraysh is Quraysh, Quraysh there,
but this is wrong interpretation.
Quraysh here is here is referring to the
Muhajiri.
Those who told him, not everything you write
from Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam because Rasulullah is
a human being.
Yeah. He might have made mistakes sometimes. So
Abdullah ibn Amr went to the prophet
and complained to him. And don't forget, before,
in the beginning of Islam, writing hadith is
halalul harab
anything other than Quran from me. Whoever wrote
something other than Quran, he should he face
it. He should remove it. And that was
because, they were just accepting Islam, you know.
They are not familiar with the revelation that
much. If Rassoul Sallallahu Wa Salam let them
write hadith, not the Quran, they might not
be able to differentiate between the Quran and
the hadith. The prophet SAWA told them not
to do it, but at the end of
the day, he allows them to do it.
We learned this from the hadith of Abdullahi
ibn Amun. So Abdullah ibn Amun told the
prophet
You Rasulullah, they told me this, the prophet
said, kadaboo. Kadaboo means akhtaoo,
a wrong. He says, wallahi, nothing comes out
of my mouth except the truth, just right.
So Abdul Abu Hurairah said, nobody knows hadith
more than me except
Abdullah ibn Amr.
Because he used to write, and I don't
know how to write.
But how is it possible that Abdullah ibn
Amr, if you look at his hadith, they
are not even closer to that of Abu
Hurairah. As Kola said, this is simply because,
wallahu 'alam,
Abdullah ibn Amr was busy with the zuhut.
He did not narrate those hadith to the
people that's why he doesn't reach us.
And some of them said because he remained
in Medina,
did not narrate and report his hadith to
other people, which Abu Hurrah was not like
that. Move out of Madinah and spread because
there's not too many other people.
So I'm just saying this in case in
the future you might need somebody who might
open this, page, then you know how to
reply. So Abu Hurairah said,
I'm sorry. So the prophet
in this narration,
he let he and Abu Hurairah to drink
the milk, the at the last,
part of it.
The prophet said,
the one who is feeding people should be
the last person to to take that meal
or to take that thing which he has
given them to drink.
May Allah grant us a good and toffee.
He can be with us wherever we are.
There is a question about,
the person being invited
to places where he knows that Maasi had
taken place.
Islamically, Allah
made it prohibited for a person to join
the al Muqawi.
So if you know that the place you're
going,
that it's Ma'alsi, that you cannot fix them,
then it is wise to report you to
stay away from that, place.
And, look for other
chances to approach those people who are doing,
whether they are from the relatives
or they are from strangers,
to advise them and, to advise them and
to be patient with them.
But to join them when they are committing
the
and to be in that place,
Allah
says,
in Nakumidin,
Mithru.
The Jews were cursed by Allah, subhanahu wa
ta'ala,
because they remind
people, whether from the family or others, to
to stay away from the Maasi, but they
don't.
But then
they sit with them. They laugh with them.
They
do everything, you know.
They make life normal with them.
Allah curse them
So with, Oma Muhammad
also, if we are to do the same
thing,
is the sunnah of Allah,
Allah
might hold that person responsible of what is
being done in his presence.
So the best is to avoid the places
of Ma'ase that you know you cannot fix,
And
get the time to go and approach those
people whoever they are and advise them wisely
in a good way until they they stop.
Inshallah. May Allah
grant us good and Tawfekah be with,
all of us wherever we are.
