That's
perfect
I know for sure like you're everyone's
schedules must be so busy right now. I guess you guys are leaving tomorrow or the day after. So ours we were supposed to leave tomorrow. However our stuff is still pending with with Elif were approved. We selected a package. But then we got kicked out and now we're just waiting. So
a lot of people though, are leaving tomorrow. A lot of them are leaving tomorrow. Some are leaving on Thursday. So yeah, the matawa stuff is quite hectic. Yeah, I think this will give a lot of ease to people that
are going inshallah.
Inshallah.
Inshallah, maybe we'll just start and then hopefully people can trickle in as time goes, and we can cover some of the important aspects.
I was hoping to get people's questions during this but clear inshallah. The smaller models will allow you either early or even whenever the salary was really determined, you sign up for vote Foley? And how about we'll go over, you know, try to do as concisely as possible the rituals of Hajj
while at the same time giving you whatever I can from in terms of like the logistics and what to expect. Any questions you guys have, I would love to answer them as best as I can. And other logistics are going to be kind of all over the place during this particular hydrogen journey, just because everything is new and everything is different. But inshallah we'll do our best to cover you know, the importance of or whatever information that we have that we can help with being a doula.
So, of course, how do we know is so important in our deen and it is the last of the pillars of Islam that Allah subhanaw taala made obligatory upon us and sent upon us, and many of the scholars, they say that hajj is the best thing a Muslim can do. The best, holiest, most rewarding thing any Muslim can do is hedge. And the most rewarding thing any non Muslim can do is become a Muslim. Right? So this is how the scholars saw it. And of course, we know that hadith of our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam where he says, they said that witches has no reward except for Paradise. And this is something the prophet does not save anything else, except the except that had to have Jim abroad had
those accepted. So of course, you all know the importance of halogen. And that's why you guys are going in sha Allah. But the Avila we will, you know, focus on this issue. One thing that I will say, to start,
try to follow a particular teacher or scholar, whoever that may be, whether it's me, whether it's someone else, it's not the time when you're in the moment to become an expert, or to choose an expert, because you're going to hear conflicting opinions about a lot of different things. And it may make you go crazy. And I've seen that with other people literally just not know what to do in the moment, and there's so much confusion. So choose someone and go with what they say. And that's, that's something that will make your head to go in sha Allah a lot smoother. If you just choose someone from now, this is a personal contact. If I have questions, I'm gonna ask them my questions,
and figure that out from now. So that you got to kind of give yourself relief. Instead, you're gonna hear one person is telling you this, and the other person is telling you that and this person is telling you to do this, and you're just going to be in a world of confusion.
So, you know, it's important to realize, as we enter into this hedge, that you are also responding to the call of Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam, when you call people towards Hajj, and you're literally following the footsteps of the prophets. Not just Is this a community of other Muslims, you're finding Muslims from every corner of the world come together. But in reality, you are following the footsteps of the prophets, Prophet Ibrahim Prophet Muhammad, Ali mussalam, but also other Prophets when only a hadith. Prophet Yunus came for Hajj prophets and working for Hajj, and other prophets as well. So alhamdulillah you know, you're you're there, as you're going through
these rituals, you need to be reminding yourself, I'm walking in the footsteps of the prophets. I'm literally in the footsteps, the prophets and the righteous people and the companions, and all the scholars of the SNAM Imam Muhammad had more than 40 times, you're walking their footsteps and Hamdulillah. And so that's something to keep in mind and to always think about, as you're going through these rituals of hedge.
There are three types of hedge and you've probably heard of this from other people, we'll go over it a bit quickly. There is hedge fraud. If fraud literally means singular. And what this means is that you're just doing hedge, there's no camera, you're just coming for hedge. Who does this kind of hedge a fraud? You know, if you're in a hurry, basically, sometimes the Sahaba would do this. They're in a hurry. They had to go somewhere else. There was a battle they needed to fight. So they would come to hedge like just on the day of autofocus.
I'm going to do the rituals of head, finish and leave. Right so there is no camera because just head by itself that's why it's called the front. Sometimes even today people live in Mexico people live in salary, we might do Hydra fraud, if they're capable of doing so.
The other two is hedge, clean run. And hedge to meta hatch clear on is hot and means to bring together to join together. You're joining together you're on your hatch. What does it mean you're joining it together it means that when you enter a haram for Umrah, you stay in that haram until you finish your Hajj, so your Hajj and your Umbra is performed with a single Iran so it's joined together. And this is the hedge that our profits will Allah what are they gonna send them did? He did hedge later on? Now we don't tell people to do how to clean on. It's much more difficult for different reasons, especially when you're coming from far away. We tell people to do hedge to mentor
because the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam even though he did number two he did Hajj later on. He instructed people to do number three, talk, right. He instructed the Companions he told them to do Hajj to Mecca. What is Hajj tomato, it is also a Umrah and Hajj. But in the middle of it, there's tenet tots. And that's what it means delight. Pleasure, right? Why is there a pleasure because you're doing your homework, then you're leaving your home. And then you adopted from again when you begin your hedge. Right. And so there is a period of tomato and this period of pleasure or of delight that happens in the middle, the prophet would tell the companions to do Hajj timeto. And
this is why we say even though the Prophet did Hajj, Iran, it is sunnah to do Hajj, Timothy, because that's what he verbally instructed the companions to do. And inshallah it's a lot easier for all of you to be able to do Hajj to mentor, you delight in your hedge in sha Allah.
So the first step of hedge is wrong. And if you've done a homerun, of course, you're familiar with this, but I will go through this a little bit quickly.
It's important to understand,
you know, what is hedged to begin with hedge is you're doing sacred rituals, right? You're doing these sacred rituals to love Saturday, throwing the gym, right? Standing, and
then you're in a sacred place. Right? And you're doing it in a sacred time. But you are also in a sacred state. Right. So you are sacred, the time is sacred, the place is sacred, and the rituals are sacred as well. And this is what makes Hutch right. So you have to enter into the sacred state and a haram is a state and it's a declaration. It's an intention, it's an intent to enter into a sacred space. It's not necessarily the clothing you're wearing. I know we call the clothing. In Iran, we refer to the clothing as being the clothing of Iran, but it is in reality, you know, as sacred
it's really a secret intent in the sacred state that you're entering into.
So let's say you're leaving insha Allah Toronto, or you're leaving Canada or you live in America, and you're going if you're going first for Umrah,
if you're going first straight to Mecca, if that's your destination, you're going to Mecca. Then as you're landing in Jeddah, let's say you're landing in Jeddah,
you're going to enter into your home on the airplane, because the main plot is before Jeddah before landing in the jet the airport. So that means for men, if you're going on the airplane, you have to be wearing your haram
like at some point on the airplane on the flight, so maybe before the flight maybe you have a stopover in Dubai or something like that, where it's probably best then to wear your prom in the airport. If you are on a longer flight, then during the flight it must be in your handbag you should have your prom for the men go to the washroom and wear it during the flight about 30 minutes before landing and jet that you will pass them in court. What is the main thought the main court is a demarcation, the profit demarked certain locations and he said whoever's entering into to do their 100 camera, their main part is this place i You must enter her arm from this place. So the Prophet
essentially drew a boundary around Mecca, right? Whoever is entering from these places, you have to
you have to Inshallah, enter into your ROM from these main paths from these demarcations. So if you're landing in jet, that demarcation is before you land about half an hour before you land. So you have to make sure if you're a man you're wearing your from your physical home, before you land, and then you enter into the sacred state ie the intention. On red hedges The only thing we're use, we say you have to make a verbal intention. If you're going to pray slow now you don't have to verbalize your intention. You have to you have to have an intention. But the intention can be in your heart. That's fine, right? If you're going too fast, you don't
verbalize the intention your intention in your heart? But hogenom No, you have to verbalize the intention. And so if you're going from camera to bake Allahumma camera, oh Allah I am here to perform Umrah.
I want to bake Allah whom I'm running behind you're going to make Umrah and Hajj and these specific things that I've written down. It's not necessary. You could say no way to camera no way to hedge I intend this I intend that. You can even say it in English but you have to say verbally State your intention to go into a state of Iran. Sisters who don't have to wear a physical Iran, they still have to make the intention with their tongue they have to verbalize their intent. Now some of you sit might be saying I'm going to Medina first. So you have no problem go to Medina. You don't have to wear haram you don't have to declare haram go to Medina chill, relax, spend your time in Medina,
when it's time to leave Medina to go to Mecca, you're going to pass by a place called litter Khalifa. They will take you there, if you're on a bus, they will stop or pointed out to you say we're about to get to the fence about 20 minutes outside of Medina, sometimes they stop and you can go down and you can pray to her archives if you want. But as you're passing data, or as you're entering or whatever, you need to now be in your haram. And you need to say your intention. Right. So as you're leaving Medina, in the in the hotel, where you're from, go to the Khalifa make your intention, even if you make the intention in the car, just slow down in the car or in the bus and
you stop there. And you say the big alarm hudge
big along the camera, and then you go no problem. Right you've done you've done what you need to do in sha Allah, you've made your intention at Jermy so the data is the main cause for Medina. Right so as you're leaving Medina, you're going to enter Inshallah, into your home. So I hope inshallah it's clear for everyone, if you have any questions, please put them in the chat, and we'll try to answer every one inshallah.
So this is the home.
What are the prohibitions during the State of haram? These are the things we're not supposed to be doing. So cutting or shaving your hair. Now, we should be clear, sometimes people make things very difficult for themselves. Right? So the person like runs their hand through their hair, and then all of a sudden there's hair on their hand, and they say, oh my god, did I shave? Cut my hair that I shaved my hair that I break my forearm? No, you did not. Right. What this means is intentionally cutting or shaving your hair. Right intentionally cutting your shaving your hair. Now you've broken your head on
perfuming oneself, right? So wearing things that would perfume you now the question here that arises is
the question here that arises about performing oneself is can I use soap or things like that have the natural perfume.
Now obviously, there's difference of opinion on this My opinion is actually it doesn't matter even if the soap has perfume, but it's better for you. safer for you and Sharla to use soap that is unscented, just to remove you know any possible doubt. However, what's meant by perfuming yourself is intentionally perfuming yourself, putting in a perfume, putting cologne putting something like that I did or something like that. Covering the head for men, men are not allowed to wear a hat or something like that. Now can you put something for shade can you have an umbrella for shade, you can have an umbrella for shade, no problem but you can cover your head. You can't wear a coffee or
something like this, you can't cover your head.
For women there is no physical it haram except for them not to cover their face or their hands. And even this it means nothing that is sewn to your face or hands. So in a club that is shaped to the face or gloves for the hands, it's not permissible. But if a woman had longer sleeves and her sleeves came over her head, that would be permissible wouldn't be a problem Shahla. Seeking or proposing marriage is not permissible. being romantic or intimate with one spouse. This is a major sin. This is the biggest problem that could happen. Now it's all it's not going to happen during Hajj, you're going to be separate and separate, you know tends to begin with so it's not going to be
a problem. But I'm just saying theoretically Islamically intimacy with your spouse would be one of the biggest issues that a person can do. And then in general committing sins disputing, arguing fighting, these are problems.
How do we make the intention for Hajj and Umrah like we mentioned on the previous slide your intention is just simple. Even Even if you said in English, I intend tomra I intend to hedge this is this is sufficient inshallah. This would be enough, but lebay Kalong Maha Mudra Bacolod hedge. These are intentions that you can say in sha Allah that I wrote here on the slides that will be helpful for you to say but again, if you don't see this particular particular wording, the wording is not that important. So if you said that Mako hombre or no way to Umrah like I intend to ombre I intend to hedge no problem all of this would be accepted in sha Allah.
The Sunnah of entering into a haram we want to enter into a haram what do we do? We do also, we perform listen Inshallah, before entering
prom we perfume the body not the prom itself, not the physical one, but our body after we do the holes, we perfume our body, we trim our nails and our body hair. And this is good because you don't want to enter into a haram and then your nails are too long and it's not permissible for you to cut your nails. That would be a problem for us. And then to say that Toby a big along then a big and they can actually connect in a big in Alhambra with Metallica and welcome Where should he connect and this is what you will be seeing in sha Allah throughout your whole journey. So to say that Tobia as you've entered into a home in Sharma
now we'll talk about our can wedge the bat for both hajj and umrah this is for Inshallah, our Amara. What is the
sorry, one brother is asking about the conditions for footwear.
So for the brothers of course, for the sisters, this is not an issue, they can wear shoes, it's no problem for the brothers. So I should be clear when we're in our from, we cannot wear anything that is what Hyatt Hyatt literally means zone, you will see in a lot of books that will say you can't wear anything sewn. But what they mean by so no, this is important. What we mean by something that is sewn is that you can't wear anything that is
what's the proper word here, it can't be anything that is fitted for the human body. Right so any of fitted for your limbs fitted for your, your your arms or legs, this would not be permissible. So the same thing goes for the footwear. Now there's a lot of difference of opinion about the footwear of men. We say it can't be fitted to your foot. That's number one for you. So you can't wear shoes. You have to wear what is sandals? Now the question is do your heels have to be exposed or not? I say it's better for you to wear footwear in which your heels are exposed. Right? Because that's typically what would be understood as a sandal. So that would be what is best. Okay. And other other
than that, you know, nothing can be crafted, fitted to our limbs tailored to our limbs, no tailored clothing. So this is why the ROM is just a sheet because it's not tailored for our limbs, right. And so that's how we wear our ROM and that goes for our feet as well. But for footwear,
so the arm can have armor and the pillars of camera is to be in a state of Iran, to do to offer on the caliber, and to do the side between suffering model and the wedgie. Bad the obligations of Amara is to enter into the Haram Atomico.
Shaving or cutting the hair.
We're done and abandoning of the unsewn of the tailored clothing for men, not for women. Now what's the difference? Someone asks What is the difference between a rock between a pillar of armor or hedge and between the wedge you bet the obligations? And the answer is very, very simple. If you lose a pillar, you do not have a hedge.
If you lose a wedge, we can make up for it. You can pay the kuffar or you can pay the ransom you can pay, you know the expiation and make up for it. So for instance, somebody goes from Rob, they do their turn off, they do their salary, they cut their hair, but at no point did they enter into the State of Iran. And no point that they make the intention and no point that they enter into Iran. Did this person do hombre we say no. He didn't do it. Because you missed the pillar. Somebody enters into a haram and they go and they do their say but they don't do fall off they cut their hair they exit their Iran. This person or Umrah? No they did not do camera because they didn't do they don't
do the love to pull off as a pillar of the camera. Now let's see somebody fell asleep on the airplane wakes up the lanterns dead that they never were there from they never made the intention there and all of a sudden pass to me but what can this person do? He has broken one of the big bad the obligations he entered into the new clots without entering into haram does you have no camera? No we say you can still do camera. He can make the intention from there. Where are they from their pay the kuffaar pay the expiation, understand, and then inshallah he still has a camera, right? Someone makes a mistake, you know, shaves or cuts their hair for some reason. You know, there's a
famous hadith of one of the companions during hutch,
one of the companions during Hajj, he actually had lice in his hair. So the Prophet center some scratching his head, he told him shave your hair and pay the confido
shave your hair and pay the customer. And this is a reminder, by the way,
that
this is a reminder for us that
when you can break the wedgie bats if there is a necessity and you will not be sinful. So this person had lace. Right sometimes a person might be
out
Cover the components on a minute. Some person might like might have lice in their hair, you know have a medical emergency, Can I shake? We say yes, you can shave your hair and you are not sinful. But you have to pay the
right but you got to pay the kuffar. So you have to pay the Kafala no matter what, whether you are sinful or not sinful, what do we mean by sinful? What if the person had no excuse and then they cut their hair, they had no excuse and they put on pants and a jacket we would say then then you are sinful and you have to be like a foreigner. You understand? So this is just to make sure people understand and are aware Inshallah, of you know what they need to do.
Here are the Arcann and the wedgie bet of Hench. So we've covered the camera. Now we're going to cover oops, on the wrong direction, and then we'll cover Hajj inshallah. So the arc and the pillars of Hajj is the State of Iran. We have to be in Iran at some point. Often father, so the main fall off of
the other is the philosophy of Saturday, between Saturday between Safa Marwah, and the standing at Arafa standing on the plains of autofac. So again, same concept if somebody enters a Koran, those philosophy fathers that say we never stood out have never went to otter fat all we say you don't have any hedge. You never did hedge. The Prophet said el hijo. Right. hedge is our offense if you don't go to out of there is no right somebody goes to our fat doesn't do too often father doesn't do say goes in a cron, we say you don't do hedge until you do these things. Right? So these are this is definitely our cat and why do you why do you bet of hedge our we enter into the state of ROM Atomy.
Right? We stand at the day of Arafah from the war basically until Nazareth. So again, so what if somebody comes late? What if somebody shows up late? They didn't stay from God until another brand we say pay the kuffar. But you still have a hunch? Because you still showed up at Autofit during the day a lot of spending the night and was dallisa is one of the words you bet of hedge unless there is a need people are older retired or something along those lines. Staying in minute during the days of to shake. True we'll talk about throwing the jump Murat
shaving or cutting the hair, abandoning of the unsewn the tailored clothing for men and not for women and coffin with the farewell tour. And we'll talk about all of these in sha Allah. But we'll go over it
in a little bit more detail. Now somebody say what is the cathodic technically there's different kinds of Profoto four, there's a different photo for if a person is intimate with their wife, a significant cafardo There is a different photo for hunting. And there's a different fora for entering into a proposal for marriage proposals are entering into the proposal for marriage. Now inshallah you guys are not gonna do any three of these. Right? Hopefully, nobody's going hunting while they're there. Hopefully nobody's going to, you know, get married or propose for marriage while they're in a state of Iran. And hopefully inshallah you know, you guys are in separate tents
anyways, you're not going to be intimate with your wife during the days of hedge. So what is the cathedra for all the other verot Right, I ended up wearing underwear by mistake I ended up putting on perfume by mistake. So Allah Subhana Allah tells us there's three types of compounds
for CML so the fatigue illness and colorless Paradisus fasting or soda or sacrifice not so so what does that mean fasting three days during your Hajj fasting three days and that is very difficult.
So I don't recommend it. Right it is heat and it's hired and I don't recommend the fasting three days. Howdy the NASUWT is to sacrifice an animal that will cost you you can go there to one of the bank and pay for it but it's going to cost you I don't know
100 $400 $500 To pay for the sacrifice of the animal and the final one is feeding mistaking feeding those who are hungry so system as I can six people are
six people who are poor or needy and this is very easy to do while you're there because you can go to any store buy meals you know short a man rice things like that. Go down to the Haram there's lots of Misaki you will have too many Misaki notes too many people asking that you can hand all of them meals so it can be very easy for you to do get six meals go and give them out there is the confounder and do during Hajj or is it okay afterwards if the person forgets he can do so afterwards it's better of course to do so while you're there if it's necessary. Of course we don't want to give the
avoid the possibility of giving a Cassandra to begin with inshallah
play
moving on. So the Aleph I hope many of you you know I've done on with our hedge before but we'll go over this quickly. How is Tov done? You begin at the corner of the Blackstone. Now you're gonna say how do I know which corner is the Blackstone? If you're close enough, you'll see this you know kind of
is the kind of the metal around the Blackstone that you'll see that but more importantly on the other side of the building on the other side is where the Blackstone is there. When you look to the other side, you will see green lights, green lights on the building. And that is the marking, this is the corner where the Blackstone is. Okay, so look for the green lights on the opposite side. A long time ago, they used to have a line, there would be a line on the ground, leading to the Blackstone corner but people would stop on the line and they would want to make dua for a long time and they would cause people behind them to get stuck and so it caused like a traffic jam. So they
removed the line in the ground which is good. The Prophet SAW Allah when they said didn't stand in the particular spot of the line of the Blackstone and then save some of that luck, but it makes why he didn't do this. The Prophet sometimes we make the laugh while he's on his camel, right? And so he would be passing by the Blackstone and say Bismillah Allahu Akbar in McKinney Shara they could just gesture is palm towards the Blackstone corner and say Bismillah Allahu Akbar, and he would begin, right so very simple to say Bismillah Allahu Akbar, and then he will begin. Now to do philosophy you have to go around all of the kava that includes hedges many to do this married is the semicircle
area. Now these days, I've had it blocked off since COVID. I don't know if they'll open it, maybe you guys will be lucky. And they open it when you're there. Now the beautiful thing about prejudice married is that it is technically inside the camera. So if you go in this area and you pray, it's as if you're a praying inside the cabinet. But if you go inside this area, you didn't go around the camera you went through the camera, you understand. So in order for you to do proper throw off you have to go around this area. So if you stopped anyone inside and pre tuned archives, it's okay come out from the same area you came in from and go around the cabin, right for that to be full in a
circle around the camera. Then the Prophet salallahu Salam as he was passing the Yemeni corner and the Yemeni corner is the last course of you started at the Blackstone the m&e quarters the last corner before you return back to the starting point, the Blackstone as he's passing the m&e corner, he would make the DUA from the attina, for dunya, hasta la multihazard up worked in the node. So this is so not to say, and then he would continue. And so going around this once is one time around around the capital one unit, and you need to do seven units in Sharla for the cloth to be completed. And so one thing that happens as people forget how many times they've been around, if you want to
count on your fingers, if you want to count even in your phone, you want to put I did one time two times, just for you to keep count of it. No problem. What if a scenario happens? You are going around the combat all of a sudden you kind of lose yourself and you think to yourself, did I do six or seven? I don't remember what do you do? Okay, just just like when you're praying slid out. Sometimes they slide out you're not sure you're thinking did I pray? You know, six records yourself, but I pray three records or four accounts. What do you do? You add an additional record in the alley of pain, right? build upon your certainty. I'm searching I did six times around six units around the
cabinet. I'm not certain I did seven. Let me do an additional one just in case. That's the way you should treat it in sha Allah. And it is common that people forget how many times they've been around the camera. When you finish your thought off, you're doing your camera right. When you finish your pull off, you go behind McLamb Ibrahim. Ibrahim has this structure that has the footprint of Prophet Ibrahim Ali Salaam. You go behind it and you pray to the kava, between you in the cabinet as Muhammad Ibrahim. If you can't find a place to pray because everyone is around that area which tends to happen, then you can just pray towards the cabinet to it because the Prophet would pray total
cause of center. Okay. When he would finish, by the way I should mention every time the Prophet went around the Kaaba, he makes a gesture towards the Blackstone, it says Allahu Akbar, and he continues, so seven times around, he says Allahu Akbar until he has completed.
So using something for the other laps, yes, good question. Perfect, just as I thought of it, the first time you say Bismillah Allahu Akbar. And then you go around each time you pass it again, as you are passing it. As you're walking in stride, you make a gesture towards the cabinet, towards the Blackstone, and you say Allahu Akbar, can you continue until you arrive at your last turn? Then you're done. There's no need for Allahu Akbar on the last turn. Because you did it the first time. So there will be seven. Understand. You do the math the first time you said Allahu Akbar. And then you went around seven times, and the last time you're done, because if you do it the last time then
you've done eight. Allahu Akbar. You understand? I hope you understood. So you don't have to live up to a rock as behind makan the Brahim then go get some zum zum zum all over the place, get some some drinks. Some zamzam make dua to Allah subhanaw taala as the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam would. Now you're on your way to do your say.
So this is the issues of falafel we already talked about. Its sin itself.
To the m&e corner but it's very difficult to touch it so you're not going to probably be able to touch it. So it's fine just as you pass it make the DUA open it and then it has no one else and it has no connection every now and then
you drink yourself. Now we should talk about what I'm Rama is a sunnah the men who are doing pull off should walk briskly and uncover the right shoulder during the first three circuits. And this is for the first pull off that you do. When you do too often to adapt and the last toe off, you don't need to do this at all. Okay, the first philosophy that you come for your camera, you're gonna do this for the first three circuits. You're trying to walk briskly, you're not running, you're trying to walk briskly, and you're uncovering your right shoulder. Okay, this is just an additional part of the talk. Now what if you say I'm too tired, I'm exhausted, I don't feel like I'm able to like walk
briskly, no problem, this is a sudden, no problem. So it's not a big deal, but inshallah there's extra reward if we are able to do so
moving on the Saturday between suffer in Marwan
so Saturday, the difference
is required that you cover your arm after the Third
Circuit.
Okay, so the difference between toll off and fall off will do is required, if you lose your will go and make your will do and then come back and continue for a Saturday, it is not required. So if you lost your will, during your Saturday, no problem, you can continue your aside. Likewise, if a sister has her time of the month, she cannot do her throw off. Well, we usually tell the sister go do your say, just to get it out of the way. So that if you know your, your period cleans up towards the end of your trip, you can just do the pull off and that we've done everything then you can leave, right. So that's usually what we encourage the sisters to do in those scenarios.
So we begin the site at a sufferer and there's no way to get to a point where it leads you the building is going to lead you straight to suffer. So don't worry, you're gonna learn to suffer. And you the Prophet Selim when he would begin, he would recite the A in the Quran in the software with other words, I'm in sha Allah, the Mahajan, beta Katama for legend for for Bhima. Woman totowa how you run in Allah Shirky.
And he would see this when he would begin. So just at the beginning, he didn't say this every single time just when he would begin. So the first time you would recite this, then he would make
then he would make a DUA, and this is a dua or a vicar that he would make three times Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Allah. Allah would actually Cara. Yeah, holy moly Kula will handle who Allah Felicia and for the La ilaha IL Allah Hua and just a Wagga Manasa Abdel has, has. So you break this down, right? Keep keep these covering them with you. You can read them there's no problem in sha Allah. The Prophet would recite this one time, then he would make long dua, then you would recite it a second time, then he would make long dua, then he would recite it a third time. Then he would begin from a sofa walk towards a Manuel.
And when he arrives in Mahwah, he stands towards the camera again in the direction of the Kaaba, and again three times he would recite this dua, and then he would make long dua, then he will recite it again, when he would make long do art and then recite it again. So three times and each time he would recite it, he would make long dua between each pause between them. Between the site, there is an area of green lights. And this is when our mother had her eye Hassan had left a smile, and she's running between these two mountains, there was a dip in the valley. During that dip in the valley, she could not see her baby, and she's running. Right. So she would run faster during the dip in the
valley, so that she can get to the other side and see us Marian right because she didn't like the fact that obviously any parent and you mother would be upset I can't see my baby right. So in that area, she would run faster in order to get to the other side and see her son her child. And so for men it is sunnah to run beneath the Valley and that is the area of the green lights during the sight of the software monitor I say run I don't mean sprinting we're not you know in the Olympics but running faster trying to go faster as parallel you know, walking the Saudi business model makes you tired and it makes you appreciate Pamela
or other hedge on what she was going through in that moment because it's difficult for men today to walk this imagine her running it with her child looking for waters how to love
so this is the sun so after you've done the Saudi pull off your than the Saudi now all I have to do is cut your hair for men. Now I wrote here it's preferred to shave your head, but I say this for people who are doing hombre for people who are doing hedge No, don't shave your head now. Right You're doing your your I'm gonna for hedge don't shave your head, shorten it why? Shave your head after head
Ah, because there's more reward in that. Okay, so shorten your hair and it needs to be returned from all around take a little bit from all around, go to a barber just tell him I want trim all around he'll be able to do it for you. And same thing for the women. What the women can do is gather your hair together. Just gather the hair like on one ponytail on one side and snip like a fingertip length off less than an inch on each side that we've taken from all around your head a little bit of hair inshallah.
Yes, the running is every round between for the say, between sophomore
another mistake sometimes people make for Saturday between Safa Marwah,
we just mentioned that is sometimes they think one unit is suffered to Madhwa and back. No, that's not correct. They end up doing 14 units now. Suffer tomorrow is one unit, Marwat will suffer is one unit. Right? So then you've done one, you've done two events like that, okay. And in that way, it's easier to not make a mistake, by the way. Because if you go suffer to Marwa, that's always going to be an odd number. And Marwah to suffer is always going to be an even number. So if you ever feel like you're confused Hey, did I do four did I do five look at which direction you're going at. Understand suffer twin model will always be an odd number. If you're like I'm doing that I do three
or four you'll always know because one directions it was odd and the other direction is always even. So it helps you understand how many that I do versus pull off it's very easy to lose water this one of how many done here
okay, this is a camera guy that just put it in here because it's pretty simple. It puts all the information that you need for a camera
I will make this PDF this PDF inshallah available for anybody who wants it. And you can find this if you Google online as well. So this is right off the balloon for our for our hombre, all the different steps that we already talked about. Let's move forward in sha Allah for Hajj, I want to cover all the rituals inshallah in the time that we have. So we've already covered a few of these you know, you have made the number one you made the intention for hedge, you enter into your from you go in, do your thought off, you do your salary between several models. Number four, number five, you cut your hair now you exit to relax, you pray. Now number eight, you're going back to minute,
you're going to minute sorry, first time to minute.
Yeah, inshallah we'll put the recording online as well inshallah for everyone.
I number eight, you're going to Mina number nine, you're going to out of that. Number 10. You're sleeping and was terrified. But trust me, there's no beds and was steady was deadly for I don't know why they have a bed over here. We'll talk about this in more detail. And then you go for years, how often you father, and you cut your hair, and you sacrifice and you throw the jump rocks. And the next few days, you're just throwing them around and staying in minute. And then your final colophon without. So these are all the steps put together, we're gonna go through them in more detail so that you understand very well what you're doing. And I really, really encourage everyone, please, because
you're not going to have guides. I know they're saying there's going to be guides who are there. I don't I don't trust that there's going to be any guides who are there. Please try to study this as much as possible. Please try to be intimately aware of this shot law study on the plane. Because in my previous history, we would do these seminars, in like in Toronto, we do the seminars and we would go for Hajj. And everything we talked about in the seminar people forgot, right because it's a lot of information I get that it is a lot of information. But please, you have to dedicate yourself don't rely on you're going to have support when you're there in sha Allah.
I want you to understand this. This is just the map
just for you to have the bearings of the major locations are going to be at the Grand Mosque. That's the hum and stuff on Marwa. It's up here at the top of the map, the GEMA rot bridge, and Mina so Jamaat is like the end of Mila towards Mecca. Right? So you have Mecca Minar and right at the border of Minot technically or the Jamaat and then past Mina is was Daddy fat and his autofab Okay, this is important for you to know because the day of autofab You go to Mr. Was alpha, then you're gonna go to the jungle rocks, I mean, you're gonna go back towards Mina. Then you're gonna go for the love of the Father and that's the Mecca and it's all in one straight line. Okay, this is just to give you
your bearings. So we go on the overview of hedge, you've done your camera, okay. You've exited your home. Now maybe you did your camera. You exited your home for a number of days. Now when it's the days of Hajji where you're from wherever you are. So if you're in your hotel and Mecca you where you're from, if you are in Medina, you're getting ready to go for Hajj you were your home, wherever you are, you did your camera for your hedge. You exited your home because you're doing tomato. Now it's time it's the day of Hajj where your home wherever you may be, wherever you are put on your home. Okay, eight of the hedger that's the only time we are and y'all mutter we are literally means
the day of you know, quenching the thirst, the day of relaxing the day of you know, and this is the day
If you go to midnight you relax, you don't do anything. You're just going to Mina and this is a sunnah of our Prophet sallallahu Sallam on the eighth of the Rohingya. He goes to Mina. Now, in the past, everybody had to go to Mina on the day of the eighth on the eighth of the future. Everybody had to do it didn't matter who you were, you had to get in your bus. You had to go to a minute. Okay. It seems they're changing the rules because I saw when you guys
are applying for hedge, they asked you did you want to start your hedge in minute or did you want to start it in Arafa? So it seems like some people they will take them directly to autofill on the ninth and they will not go to Mina on the eighth. Okay. What do we say you've missed out on a sunnah? It is a sunnah to do Yama total, we had to go to Mina on Yama. Totally. This is a sunnah. You missed out on the Sunnah, but nothing, no kuffaar There's nothing like that. In sha Allah, it's fine to start on the night. But for most people, they go to Mina on the eighth of the Hedgehog, they settle in their tents. And they spend the day there the Prophet sallallahu Sallam prayed through her
there, and awesome, and Muslim and Russia. And then they slept and then the morning budget, all in minutes. So from the eighth of the ledger, he does this. And then in the night of the ledger, he prayed, he prayed Fudger in Mina, and then he made his way to autofab. And so we should aim to go to out of, of course, not in our hands, but we should aim to go to Ottawa, before the Zohar of of
the ninth of the lecture, before the vote of the ninth of the head, we should aim to go to alpha so that we spend the day of alpha there so and auto alpha is the day of hunt, this is the day, this is the day you need to be there. This is the day of reward. This is the day of driving except it is the day you got to be there and take advantage of the stage. I'm going to talk about it a little bit more in a minute. So the ninth of the Hedgehog, that's the day of patch, the 10th of the hedgehog. This is the omen that had the state day of sacrifice. This is the day of read. Everyone around the world is doing aids. You guys are doing work, okay. I still think of it like this. We're doing work.
Everyone else is partying doing their athletes. This is the day of work because you have a lot of things to do on your plate, we're going to talk about that inshallah. Then the 11th 12th and 13th is optional of the hija is aim to sleep. This is the days of relaxing a minute, all you have to do is throw the Gemini. Okay, this is a quick overview of the days of Hajj.
Okay, a little bit more detail. Again, eight of the hedger relaxing in Mina, and you've entered your home, you go to midnight, you're just relaxing. They're spending that day
praying.
Also the melody of Asia and fetcher all on eighth of the hedge in Milan, and the ninth of the hedgehog. You're heading to Ottawa and your intent to suspend though her to Melbourne in Ottawa. And this is the day of
making dua. And I want to say something to everyone here that I think is important, right now you're all thinking, I'm gonna go there, I'm going to be so spiritual, I'm going to do all this dua, etc, etc. The thing about Hajj is you have to get yourself into spirituality, because everything around you is taking you out of spirituality. Why? Number one, you are going to be very tired. Number two, there's going to be people around you annoying you. Number three, there's going to be people around you, distracting you, right? Gossiping, yes, people gossip during Hajin talking about this and talking about things that don't matter and laughing and joking and doing all that kind of stuff
there. And on top of that, it's hard to you're going in the summer I did the summer twice, it's very hot, and you're sweating, and there's noise and you know, all these things are pulling you out of spirituality. So the real hedge is being able to force yourself to be spiritual, despite everything pulling you away. This date of alpha is valuable. This is the day of all of the prophets of Allah who sent him by the way in Arafa. He prayed vote in us, shortened and combined. In Mina, he shorten the prayers, they'll have to hustle. And he said he shorten the prayers. But he didn't combine them. He prayed them all at their separate times. When he arrived at Arafa he shortened and combined why
the Prophet sallallahu has had to do this. The Scholars say the prophet is showing us that this day of Arafa is so important. Don't be distracted by anything. Even your sunnah shorten and combine it, get it out of the way. Because this is a day of making dua to Allah subhanaw taala have a list of dua prepared before you leave. You know all the things you want to pray for. Have it on the list. Sit down on that day and make to make to our praise Allah, glorify Allah subhanaw taala make dua since so the words upon our prophets of Allah wherever you send them, do all of this and don't let yourself be distracted. The time there is short. It feels like a long time when you get there.
You're tired I got I got all day to pray. You don't. Right now today when I sit down I think about the days I was there. I wish I was there again. I
Wish I spent more time I wish I was more efficient. I wish I made more dua. Right? This is the time. This is the time where Allah accepts your door more than any other time. In the life of a Muslim, the best dua is the dua of Hajj, and the best dua is the dua of autofab. Right? This is the pinnacle of dua. So please spend the whole day making dua to Allah subhanaw taala. Don't let yourself get distracted. The prophets of Allah Islam said she is not more angry, or more enraged on any day than the day of autofac because he sees the blessings of Allah and the forgiveness of Allah, the Mercy of Allah. And so she thought it will try to distract you, he was trying to find a way to distract him,
because he knows the importance of that day. So just like data to other is the most important night in the calendar for a Muslim out of the is the most important day. And many scholars believe Autofit is more important for the hygiene out of is more important than that it's far more important than needed. In fact, so take advantage of the state, don't let it pass you inshallah spend time in seclusion, you find that people are distracting you go away from them, find a place find shade, find another tent, find a corner that you can spend time in, and you can avoid inshallah everyone.
Okay, so that is the ninth. When you're done, by the way, especially the time before most of the half an hour before membership, spend that time making intends to as a Prophet salallahu Salam did. Okay, so now we finished in RFM. The next is they're going to take you to almost any file. So you're going to get them buses that are going to take you to the study, technically, you can walk from AutoZone, if I don't recommend it, it's a bit of a hike. Unless you're all young men who are in good shape, I don't recommend it, wait for the buses. The problem is the buses sometimes take long, there's a lot of traffic, a lot of buses. In the past, there's been times where he stabbed in the
bus for four hours, five hours, not even moving from our feet to get to Standefer. Eventually, they will get you there and was ready for and was ready for is just open. And it's just open. You get out of the bus, you find a place to sleep on the ground, in the open skies, there's no beds, there's no roof, nothing like that. You're just going to sleep outside, if you bring them with yourself a sleeping bag, then you could just put that down on the ground and sleep on top of it. It's hot right now. So you don't even need a blanket or anything like that. You can just sleep right there. There are some washrooms. They're not the greatest. But they're there. You know, that's happening.
Listening to the huntsman that's happening in Michigan, them you don't how important is that?
It's not that important, every 10 to usually, or most of the times we'll do it, we'll have someone to do a theme. So probably in your own tent, or in the tent next to you, there might be a whole team doing a hotspot on the Day of Arafah, you can attend that one, if you really want to, you can walk over to them, you know, I don't fully recommend this for a couple of reasons. Number one, there's a portion of Masjid Namira, that is outside of Arafa. We don't want to spend our time outside of autofair On the day of waterfall, we want to stay inside of it. So if you do go please pay attention to the signs, make sure you're inside nebula and not outside inside autofair Not outside of RFIs
number one. Number two, it takes a lot of time and effort to walk to it and then walk back to your tent, you might get lost. And that's the reasons I don't typically recommend it.
You know, rather than waste our energy and waste our time, let's spend all of our time making dua without going to Namira if we don't have to. So if you're if someone in your temps is able to give the hutzpah that's a preferable option, in my opinion.
Okay, the 10th of Dhul Hijjah
do I need to pray or eat solid? No you do not. There is no eat solid food hygiene if you're there. Now this happened to me once I was doing pull off and the father so I was I left him was that Eva, and I got to the Haram somehow
the roads hadn't been closed and I was able to get to the Haram before everyone else. So I got there as they were praying. I need sunnah. So I prayed with them. Just the intention of a sunnah. But there's no eight slot required for the MC eight slot as for those we're not doing much.
Okay, but if you're in that scenario, you happen to be in the huddle and they're praying it it's yeah, it's no problem pretty good faith to rock as we just the intention of this on inshallah.
So you spend the night in mystery felt, like I said, was that he has just opened land, so you're gonna find a space was that he has also the place where people most get lost. Because you'll look around and all of a sudden, all around, you're just people sleeping. Like just as far as you can see, there's just people sleeping, and they all look the same they're all wearing from, so it's very easy to lose your bearings. So if you're getting up, you're going to the washroom or something, please pay very close attention where you are, in order that different demarcations around you this hill, this, you know, post whatever it is, try to figure out something that can tell you where you
were so that you can get back to your spot, because it's very easy was that if it's kind of lose track of where you are.
Also, sometimes, like one time we fell asleep. There's no one around us. We fell asleep you wake up a few hours later. And just like an army of people around you sleep
around you. So it can be a bit disconcerting in that way. Okay, so now you spent the night and was Delita. And the Prophet would prefer budget animals differ. Now it's time to move from Costa Rica, because it's now the 10th of Dhul Hijjah. This is the day of the 10th of the future. And this is the day of action, you got a lot of stuff to do. What do we have to do we have to throw the drum rot on the 10th of the hedger. We're only throwing the Jamaat al Cobra. So there are three gem rot. Right there is a Silverado the small one, and was for the middle one. And then Cobra, the grand one, the big one.
On the 10th of Dhul, Hijjah, we only throw seven at El Cobra, the big one. Okay, that's all the we have to do on the 10. We also have to sacrifice an animal now, nobody sacrifices an animal, you just buy the voucher, right? All of us buy the voucher, I think probably part of your package. I don't know if it's part of your package. Actually, now that I think about it, you guys probably want to make sure that if it's part of your package or not, if it's not, you need to go by a vulture when you're there in Mecca, okay? To make sure that there is a sacrifice being done on your behalf. So the sacrifice of the animal, we assume the sacrifice has been done. Okay, they're going to start
sacrificing in huge factories, tons of animals, you just assume that yours hasn't been done? You're never going to know when particularly specifically your animal has been slaughtered? You're never going to know that. You just assume that it's been done. Where can we buy by the voters in question, I believe you can buy it at a at a bank there. So if you've got any bank like Bank coverage, or something like that, ask them Can we buy vouchers for for sacrificing they should allow you to do so it might be expensive, about $400 or $500 or something like that. Typically, we do like in the past, we would include that as part of your package. I don't know today if it's included with the Saudi
package or not. So we have these four things right there one of the jemalloc sacrificing the animal shaving or cutting your hair. And too often if our if you do too out of the form, it takes you out of minor from what is minor and what I mean? It means you can wear clothes, instead of the prom, you can wear perfume.
Okay, the sacrifice is included. Okay, does that clock here, so I wasn't sure about that. If the sacrifice included no problem, then you assume you're done on the tent of the kitchen. So if we assume the sacrifice has been done, we've done one out of the four, what's left for us through the gym mirage or shaving, cutting your hair off before you can technically shave and cut your hair, I assume your sacrifice has been done. Now you can come out of your front. Right? What's left is the major from what is the major from intimacy with your wife, you need to complete the four out of the four for you to be out of major harm and for you to be allowed to be intimate with your wife once
again, understood, but two out of the four you can get out of your clothing, you can take off the prom wear regular clothing. Okay. Now, there are differences of opinion on this question. Some scholars will say three some scholars. So I'm telling you my opinion, just the opinion of most colors. Two out of the 14 code of minor Iran, if you want to know as, frankly, as a matter of logistics when I throw the gym a lot, there are lots of barbers in that area anyways, so I would throw the gym right and then go get my hair cut, and then take a shower and wear clothes, because logistically that makes the most sense. And in that way, you've done three out of the four. Okay.
Now, some of you might have, I'm trying to give you some logistical information here. Some of you might have your hotel room available in Mecca
during the days of hedge.
Now, in the past, some people would have this some people wouldn't. I don't know what the situation is. If I if I if I had my hotel in Mecca available, here's what I would do, I would walk from was deliver to the gym or not through the gym rot.
Cut my hair, I actually you know, I would just for simplicity's sake, I would just make this easy for everyone walk to the gym rot throw the gym rot. And by the way I prefer walking from was deliver to the gym or to Mina, rather than taking the bus because that day the bus is crazy. And people are going crazy punching pushing each other to get on the buses. And it's actually faster to walk. If you're in shape. If you're younger, if you can walk an hour, if you can do an hour walk no problem than just walk it walk from was delivered to the gym, it's gonna take you an hour an hour and a half. Right? So it depends when we say the distance.
So minutes are autofill you don't need to do they're going to drive you there and it's not going to be a problem Autofit to mostly fat, it's I just don't recommend that you can get lost. That's my only recommendation so I recommend you take the bus was Daddy for two minute probably 3040 minutes, minutes to the gym Alright, so Gemert is technically in minutes just at the very end of minutes. So it kind of depends.
When you when you say was that if a two minute kind of depends. So we go from was it fair to the end of minute which is the Jamaat is
probably an hour and a half an hour, an hour and a half, something like that minute to the Haram is probably another hour and a half, two hours walking.
But on that day, on the 10th of the vigil, walking is the most efficient way to get around. Because the roads are crazy, and the buses are crazy. So but here's what I would do, I'm just telling you what I would do, I would was defer. I would walk to my tent in Milan, walk through the jungle ROTC minute, throw the gym rot, cut my hair, go back to my tent, have with yourself in your tent, like a small luggage, like a handbag, have some clothes in it, have some stuff like that shower, in Minar, where my regular clothes, relax a little bit, take some time relax in my tent, wait for the crowd to die out a little bit towards the evening, because there's no rule that I have to do throw off the
fall on the tents. Right? There's no rule that says I have to do that. And I can wait towards the leader and after melted people, the crowd is starting to die out a little bit. Then I'll go towards Maccha I'll do my pull off of the Father and I'll do my say
given that relatively small number of people attending this year is likely going to be like last year transportations offered on the weekends. It could be in if you find the buses are running smoothly and things like that, no problem, take the buses, if you find that things are going smoothly, go ahead and do that. Just you know based on past experience and things not being organized, you're just kind of prefer to walk to be honest with you wasn't too bad.
So that's what I would do. I wait till the crowd dies out a little bit. And then I would walk towards the mecca of red towards Mecca. Do my telephony Father, do the Saturday for my hedge. So too often sorry, for the hedging. That's it, you're done. You've done everything, what's left, go back two minutes, spend the night Minar. And the next few days, the 10th and the 11th. And the 13th is optional, you are throwing
the Mirage Murata, all three of them so far, the small one, the middle one and the big one on the 11th and the 12. And the optional 13. So, in past experience, 90% of the people leave and do not do the 13% of the people will
stay into the crowd.
And so by the way, you need to gather your pebbles. People like to gather the pebbles in most delissa people act like it is
people act like it's sitting there to do it and was that if it's not sooner to do with a mystery fan. It's not similar. But there's a lot of pebbles there. So maybe you want to pick them up there. But you can pick them up wherever you want. You can pick them up in Toronto and take them with you. It's not it's not a problem. How many stones do we need to throw? Good question. So on the first day, you need to throw seven, and then the 11th and the 12th and 13th, you're throwing 21 each. So that brings you to 70. But if you're not doing the 13th, then minus 21.
So you would,
you would minus the 21 for the 13th. If you're not going to do the 13th and collect some extra stones in case you drop some or something like that.
Then finally it's off to a DA the farewell pull off.
And this is when you are leaving Mecca. So it depends on the day you're leaving Mecca whatever day that might be. If you're leaving on the 12, then you need to do to offload on the 12th. If you're leaving on the 15th, you need to do too often without on the 15th. If you're leaving on the 20 if you need to do often without on the 20 it doesn't have to be the very last thing you do, but towards as you're preparing to leave Mecca. So as part of your preparations of leaving Mecca that day, the evening before do your thorough falooda your farewell to love. And that's it. You've done all of your hedge.
I mean, answer some of the questions in sha Allah.
For walking directions are the directions straightforward can want to get lost walking from minute to Mecca, it's pretty much a straight line. And there will be lots and lots of people walking in the street direction. And eventually you'll see the home in front of you. You'll see you know the pillars of the masjid in front of you. I also highly, highly recommend
highly recommend Google Maps, right? Because one, you can use it for walking direction. But to it's very easy to lose your tent in minute. You're like how do I get back to my tenten minute. So the first thing you do when you get to your 20 Minute absolute first thing you do take out your cell phone, go to Google Google Maps and drop the pin so that you know exactly where your attention minute is. And that way you can always walk towards it. I found that to be very, you know, a very strong you know, useful thing for me to do. Drop my pin in Mina and my tents and Mina. That way if I need to walk back to it, it's very easy to walk back to it.
Brothers awesome day
the 11th to 13th between Mina and the Hudson if you have a hotel, is there usually transportation available to change into shower
So I don't think there'll be transportation available. But you can take a taxi or an Uber, you can actually download Uber and use that. And it's a lot better than the taxi because it tells you how much it gives you the price in advance so that you don't have to haggle with anybody, I recommend Uber, there's another app called Kareem as well, which is basically Uber as well you can use that as well.
Between minutes so you can use that to get around on the 10th is just usually crazy. Now like the brother said, there's less people there's only 60% of the regular crowd this year. So
you know, maybe there's not going to be that much traffic maybe you can get around even on the 10th Allah Allah Allah, but 11th to 13th Shouldn't be a problem. You can take a taxi, you can tell I'm taking you to the gym or not, you will take you right to the gym, right you can walk from there to your attention minute.
And you can tell him from the gym right to take me to the Harlem and they can drop you off pretty close by
Yeah, so if you're leaving on the 14th at 3am Exactly, you can make your throw off on the evening of the 13th single problem. Some people you know, take things very strict where they're like I'm leaving at 3am I'm going to try to do my pull off at like 2am and then they cut it short and they miss their bus or something like that. You don't want to do that it's not it's not like that strict that we have to be that you know specific just as part of your preparations of leaving you know, if you're leaving somewhere as part of your preparations you're going to pack your clothes you're going to do this you're going to do that you're doing that like the night before the day before as part of
your preparations. You can go and try and do your falafel with inshallah I just forgot to write it there is certainly part of Hajj as well. Right so you did five and certainly for your ombre. When you do to throw off the Father You also do say as well, because there's a say for Hajj just like there's a Saturday for
for Umrah.
The fact that this is the final
slide that I have and I'm happy to answer people's questions. Inshallah. I just want to remind people because this is really important, that a lot of hedge there's so many instances of hedging, which they do is more accepted. In general, through your lifetime as a Muslim. The time in which your die is most accepted is during Hajj. And in Hajj. There's so many instances of dua being accepted. So during your thought, when you're going around the Kaaba, what are you doing? You're remembering Allah, and you're making dua, right? You're remembering Allah and everything so during pull off your DUA, it's more accepted. After you finish your throw off between the left and Saturday
What are you doing your your drink senza and you make dua prophesize and I'm gonna make dua that was more accepted. During Saturday you stand on the mountain of a sufferer you make the proper Maglock for a long time, then he would go to a medulla me to for a long time, back and forth, right for each of the seven. Walking between it, he would make dua to Allah subhanaw taala This is a time where your do is most accepted. And then on the plains of autofac is the important time the most important time of making dua, is during the day of autofair on the plains of autofair. Stand there make time don't waste your time on that day ask Allah subhanaw taala how you to do and to the prophets of
Allah Islam said the best to the dua of the Day of Arafah make dua on that day ask Allah subhanaw taala you know take with you draw books take with you everything you need to make dua Inshallah, no problem if you're carrying during the Saturday carrying during the pull off pages, papers of making no problem, but just make two out from the depth of your heart and finally the gym or off the profit slice and then when you throw the gym rat Allah awkward fill the gym rod seven times. Before he would move on to the next one, he would stand off to the side face Mecca and make dua for a long time. So, on the 10th of the ledger, you're only throwing the Jamaat once you throw the seventh Gen
Cobra, you stand off to the side towards Mecca, you need to add to Allah subhanaw taala. On the other days, the 11th and the 12th and the 13th. If you're staying for the 13th, you throw at a surah throw at the small one, seven times, Allahu Akbar and you throw them and then you go off to the side, stand towards Mecca, make dua for a long time. Then go to the middle one through seven times Allahu Akbar, stand off to the side, turn towards the camera, make dua to Allah sometimes so each time you will do the same.
Ask Allah subhanaw taala. to artificially stand standing while make two out can we sit? No, you can sit, you can sit in sha Allah. If you want to stand you can stand if you want to sit you can sit. It's a long day, you're there all day making dua to Allah subhanaw taala. So, whatever is helping you do that, if you're lying down if you're standing up, but just make dua to Allah subhanaw taala to spend that time praying to Allah azza wa jal, these moments of Hajj, you're not going to get them back. Right? All the hardship all the difficulty of hedges for these moments of making dua to Allah subhanaw taala. So don't lose sight of that.
Do we have to raise our hands during the lockout of the prophets voice and I would raise hands. Yes. Now I don't say you have to. But from the Edit of
raising your hands is from the adult rights from the advocate of raising
Your hands ask Allah subhanaw taala this, this is from the etiquette of making dua.
The other thing is to remember, you know, Hajj is taking you through the rituals of
the Hereafter
you are standing in.
You know, the carrabelle reminds us of a debate in Malmo, which is the house of Allah and the heavens. Standing in autofill reminds me of the Day of Judgment. Lying in was deadly for amongst all the rubble of the pebbles reminds you of being in the grave
coming out of your home had Allah reminds you of like resurrection you're being renewed and Allah you're being renewed because your sins are being removed, and inshallah you're getting a new start in your life
after for well off, do I have time can I go to the Haram Sharif again or not? Your farewell to love should be the last thing you do.
If for some reason, let's say you did your farewell to off you're expecting to leave. He does your farewell throw off and then you come and then they tell you the bus is delayed. The bus is not going to show up for a few hours. Can you go back so you can go back? No problem. You don't have to redo your farewell toss but if you are in control, you know what time you're leaving. You should arrange it so that the last thing you do in Sharla is your farewell floss
I know you can make dua after all of the jemalloc chulmleigh
After all of it you can we talk even the Cobra
so after each time he would throw some solo and he said that he would stand off to the side towards Mecca and he would make dua to Allah come down. I just want to it's one of the moments where the die is more accepted inshallah.
Any other questions anybody has? I don't know if I'm forgetting anything I wanted to add.
I think that's
all that I could think of
as a traveler we short in our prayers but when we pray in Japan, how do we go ahead you just pray pray them out with everyone else. So if everyone's praying for a cause you pray the floor accounts.
If you are
if you're praying by yourself for some reason, then you can pray you can shorten your prayer. But when you're praying with the Imam, you follow whatever the Imam is doing. And of course we want to pray as many of our prayers in the Haram while we're there to get most of the reward. So we pray just with the event, inshallah. How can we receive the recording to LA I will upload it to my YouTube page.
Which if you search Ibrahim Hindi on YouTube, inshallah you find my page. And I'll upload it there. And hopefully we'll put the link to the same same places where we advertise this in sha Allah so that you can see the link for it. So just the 13th Day and night is optional. That's correct. So the 12th night is the last night yet so you spend the 12th mate and then the 13th
You can leave on the 13th
That's correct. You don't have to spend the 13th night there. If you wanted to. You wanted to but if you don't, you can leave. Most people in my past experience like 90% of people would leave if you stay, you feel like a king because you get the whole tent for yourself because everybody's gone.
But if you wanted to say unless comes out as this woman to Angela, feel me for that if Maddie want to marry, whoever stays whoever Hastings after two days, there is no there is no sin upon him. And whoever stays there is no sin upon him. Leave and it's tough however fears Allah so if you want to stay you can stay in sha Allah. Regarding the validity of the Haram this peeling the skin off such as your fingertips or scab invalidate anything. So peeling off your fingernails on purpose, this would break this would be a penalize go against the validity of your prom, you'd have to pay for it if you did it on purpose. As far as your skin I don't believe so.
I don't recall really anything about peeling off the skin. But generally speaking, you know we shouldn't do that in sha Allah.
Can I perform Umrah more than once? This is a typical question. I highly discourage it. I highly discourage it you can do call off as many times as you want. So when you go do your first camera, finish your camera and then do throw off youth life as many times as you want to subnet to do if off the public internet will do throw off every time he entered. Measure that how long you would do to off. So do many pull offs. As for the practice of doing extra cameras. I don't like it. Some scholars have allowed it. Some scholars do not allow it. I personally don't like it. The Prophet never did it. The Prophet would only do one on one on each journey. And I feel it cheapens the
camera a little bit when you you know people keep leaving coming back and coming back in the one day he does two or three cameras
I don't like that personally, I'm just telling you I don't personally like it. If you wanted to you could. You can do it if you want to follow that opinion. You can take a taxi, go to Masjid alopecia, re enter your home and do another hombre. I personally discourage it. Many of the scholars also did not allow it
after the 10th we will wear normal clothing after you have completed
two out of the four things on the 10th so you can't just arrive at the 10th and leave and enter your normal clothing you have to do two out of the four that we mentioned. So we mentioned
getting back to it from the gym right sacrificing the animal shaving cutting your hair and toffee Farber when we do fall to the floor on the 10th we can now exit and do normal wear normal clothing and trauma
for the RAM for hedge we don't go to the moon quiet. No, we don't. We have to enter our haram when we are doing the omelet in Kaduna when we're doing the ombre of entering into our hatch when we because we do have to tomato right when the day of Hajj begins from where we are we where our Iran so if you are let's say you are going to NACA
let's say you're going some of you I think are going to Medina first then you're going to Mecca so let's say in Medina you where you're from. You go to Mecca, you do your Umrah. You exit your home, the day of Hajj you wear your home from wherever you are in your hotel room, you were you're on the eighth Sorry, I'm on the 10th on the eighth and you begin your hedge you don't have to go to the new clients. Okay, you don't have to go to the new clients on that day.
velocette For those whose packages don't include Medina, we want to visit Medina what is your advice? I don't know what to say.
If your visa allows you to stay you can always book hotels yourself.
If it's possible, I don't know about your flights or anything like that.
Otherwise, I don't know what to say to you. If you have time after hedge, maybe you can take a day trip you can try to book a train ticket and go to Medina and come back
but that might be very difficult might be very taxing.
In which case maybe leave it for another visit. I know it's not ideal
yes stretch to let you put your home in your hotel but provided you've already done your homework and you entered your home for aamra atomia cots when you did your homework.
So your aamra you have to enter your home at the new codes then you exit your home and when it's the day of Hajj, the eighth of the hedgerow and you're entering into your
from you do it from your hotel in Mexico wherever you may be inshallah.
Any other questions, Inshallah, what is your pro tip top three things we must pack for these of Hajj?
Goodbye question.
So, for sure a pair of
slippers or sandals that that you really
that are comfortable, are very comfortable, and they're comfortable. If you've been wearing them for a while you've broken them in, you've gotten to use use them, so they're comfortable for you. Those ones you have to take with you. If you take a brand new one, your feet might not be used to it and it might be hurting you the whole trip. So get some end
that you're used to and take them with you Inshallah, if you're not used anything by one right now, so you can get used to it in the time that you have left vaseline or anti shaving cream for the brothers. Because the most irritating part of the Haram is there's a lot of shaving that will happen between your thighs. That can be very, very uncomfortable. So if you can put Vaseline there, you can put anti shaving cream between your thighs, and you probably want to reapply it at some point as well. That's something that's going to help you. My other pro tip I will give you is especially because it's the summer and because you will be sweating a lot. Take an extra prom, take a brand new
one, because maybe on the ninth of the hija or something you're going to be sweating a lot and your farm is going to be really stinky, and you're going to feel really terrible. So you can go take a shower and put on a neutron and you'll feel a little bit better. So that's my other tip of what you can do.
Can you wash it wrong? Can you work somewhere else in the meantime should it be spirit
I will take a spare one of them they're not that expensive. Is a little bit expensive but you can go when you go there you don't have to pack it with you here you can go there to been dealt with or any you know a lot of places shopping malls you can buy another from there so you can have a spare one with you. And you can pack it and take it with you when you go to the tents inshallah. That's just something that I found to be useful.
Can we wear running shoes while too often say so of course for the brothers, we have to wear sandals. For the sisters they don't have this rule for.
They don't have this rule for their prom. So yes, you can wear running shoes. Now sometimes they might tell you at the door, you have to take it off. And in which case you can take it off, hold it with you and then put it on again. The only issue of course of wearing shoes is make sure your shoes are clean because they're in the masjid. And make sure there's no no Jess has nothing like that in your shoes. That's what's important. So if you have like new shoes or something like that, and you want to wear them inside, you can probably wear them inside. Nobody's gonna say anything to you.
Any advice for shaving on the 10th of that? hija How long is the wait, I've never found a wait. Personally, I always find a barber. Usually I'll go to in Mecca. In like if you go to the clock tower in the basement of the clock tower, there's a lot of barbers
the wait maybe 10 minutes, 20 minutes, something like that at the worst. But usually you'll find someone and they'll shave your hair pretty quick. So I've never found it to be that big of a deal. If you've if you feel like it's going to be a big deal. You can always bring your own clippers and have someone clip it for you. But one thing I will say you want the maximum reward, the maximum reward comes with shaving. So you don't want to use clippers, you want to use the steel, right? What is it called? Like the shaving knife and make sure they open a new one. Sometimes they want to be cheap and use an old one no open a new one in front of me bring me a new one. Open it in front of
me. Right make sure that they do that so that it's clean and then they can shave your head inshallah and you want to do this
but you can do it anywhere you can do it at the gym, or often you can do it in Mecca, and inshallah won't be too much of a way I never found it to be too much of a wait.
If one is to actually run from Medina
do you make intention for Hajj and Umrah at the same time for them at the enemy of God? Yes, you can. You can do had no
intention at the same time. How you can do so it's not a problem. I don't recommend people do interferon because it's very difficult, especially if there's a gap in time between Umrah and Hajj it will be very physically taxing on you. I don't recommend it. And it's not the sooner the sooner it's legitimate.
Must we do the sacrifice someone else could do for it? No. So the brother mentioned it's part of your package. Part of the package that you've paid for it is the sacrifice has been done for you. So you assume the sacrifice is being done for you on the 10th you assume it's already been done. You've paid for it and until it's been done
you have the razor that's the word I was looking for the razor. What about cutting hair for the women? Is there a place no there's no place for the women it's easy though.
Just Just make sure you have clippers with you have like scissors with you and have someone just gather your hair on one side of your head. So if you gather your hair on one side, and all they need to cut is like a fingertip or less than a fingertip even right it's just one side gather you're on one side cut like less than an inch and same thing on the other side less than an inch that will you've taken a little bit of hair from everywhere and that's sufficient inshallah for the woman there's no I don't know of any places but inshallah should be easy. You can do it yourself or you can have you know your husband or your friend of yours do it for you inshallah
I'm living in the next moment I think the program's following Quran okay said inshallah if you want to do that there's no problem giving Allah but yeah, you can make the intention and then for both Mithila
sacrifice both on sacrifice for each person inshallah and it should be a part of each person's
but I can't do it since I'm in a home
No sister you are going to do it because you're exiting a home understand you're doing it because you are exiting the home so that's why you can cut your hair so even if you do it yourself it's not a problem because you are exiting the farm if you did it during before you did your throwing of the jungle rocks before you did everything you cut your hair for no reason while you're not intending to exit the Haram then you've done a mistake but if you are exiting the Iran you can cut your hair it's not a problem
we are
second mafia
Okay, shall I think if if that's all the questions, we can stop here, but inshallah if you want to send me questions other days inshallah I'll do my best to serve everyone. I always enjoyed going in serving the judge. So even if I can't go there this year, I'm still going to Allah happy to serve everyone as best as they can be.
So cutting my hair is the last thing before exiting the front. It can be it can be the last thing before
