00:00:00 --> 00:00:03
			Bigger. Okay Al Hamdulillah
Bismillah R Rahman r Rahim Al

00:00:03 --> 00:00:06
			hamdu lillah wa salatu salam ala
shrivel. MBI you will mursaleen

00:00:06 --> 00:00:09
			say that I want to learn or have
you been on Muhammad sallallahu

00:00:09 --> 00:00:12
			alayhi wa Salam wa he also He also
emphasized him and get here and

00:00:12 --> 00:00:15
			thank you everybody for your
patience. I am sorry for being a

00:00:15 --> 00:00:19
			little late today. I actually was
recording another class that went

00:00:19 --> 00:00:25
			over a few minutes and so I
quickly messaged sister Homero she

00:00:25 --> 00:00:28
			messaged me actually, and I let
her know that I'll be a little

00:00:28 --> 00:00:30
			late. So I appreciate your
patience.

00:00:31 --> 00:00:36
			I want to get started with as we
have been doing a little bit of a

00:00:36 --> 00:00:41
			review. So let's talk about some
of the diseases that we covered

00:00:41 --> 00:00:45
			last week inshallah. Okay, so let
me actually open up the chat box,

00:00:45 --> 00:00:48
			make sure you guys are all
listening and paying attention

00:00:48 --> 00:00:53
			inshallah. Okay. Oh, you guys are
so sweet with your comments. Thank

00:00:53 --> 00:00:59
			you. So the first disease I'm
going to ask you about Okay. This

00:00:59 --> 00:01:00
			is when you

00:01:02 --> 00:01:08
			when you think things that aren't
necessarily true. And one of the

00:01:08 --> 00:01:12
			Hadith that were taught about this
is that the tongue will wake up

00:01:12 --> 00:01:18
			every morning and tell the body to
fear Allah. What disease of the

00:01:18 --> 00:01:22
			heart did we learn that talks
about negative thoughts and you

00:01:22 --> 00:01:28
			know, this ability of the tongue
to take you into that direction?

00:01:28 --> 00:01:34
			Okay, there we go. Mashallah. So
we got a Fanon and beloved Very

00:01:34 --> 00:01:37
			good. Both of you have Nana Beulah
message pretty much the same time

00:01:38 --> 00:01:41
			with the correct answer. So
negative thoughts, I kind of gave

00:01:41 --> 00:01:45
			it away in my, I subtly put that
in there to CBN to paying

00:01:45 --> 00:01:48
			attention. But you answered before
that anyway, so negative thoughts

00:01:48 --> 00:01:52
			is a disease of the heart and this
is called, so others are so

00:01:52 --> 00:01:56
			advanced, okay. So when you have
basically there's no evidence,

00:01:56 --> 00:01:59
			there's no proof whatsoever, you
just have a bad idea of someone,

00:01:59 --> 00:02:04
			right? So that is called to adven.
And okay, so great. I'm glad you

00:02:04 --> 00:02:06
			guys are on it. Now.

00:02:07 --> 00:02:12
			This disease of the heart, and has
to do with let's see, I'm going to

00:02:12 --> 00:02:16
			try to keep it a little not so
predictable, because I see some of

00:02:16 --> 00:02:20
			you think you're already putting
in answers before I ask. So that

00:02:20 --> 00:02:23
			tells me you think I'm too
predictable, which I probably have

00:02:23 --> 00:02:30
			been but Okay, so let me see here
for this Okay, let's see this. Now

00:02:30 --> 00:02:33
			I'm gonna get you this when we
talked about this hadith we

00:02:33 --> 00:02:38
			related a hadith or a saying I
should say a quote by Imam Ali, or

00:02:38 --> 00:02:42
			the law and and he said that
people are asleep. And when they

00:02:42 --> 00:02:48
			die, they wake up, which disease
of the heart related to that, to

00:02:48 --> 00:02:49
			that quote.

00:02:50 --> 00:02:55
			Awesome, mashallah, Zoya and
Danya. You guys got it right away.

00:02:55 --> 00:03:01
			Great job. false hopes total AMA,
okay. So thinking that you're

00:03:01 --> 00:03:06
			going to live forever, right?
That's the problem with it's a

00:03:06 --> 00:03:08
			disease of the heart. If you think
that you're going to live forever.

00:03:08 --> 00:03:11
			It makes you careless and
heedless, which we're going to

00:03:11 --> 00:03:15
			talk about today, in this world,
and it's kind of like you're

00:03:15 --> 00:03:20
			walking around asleep, you're not
really awake to the world, right?

00:03:20 --> 00:03:23
			You're, you're in a dreamlike
state because you're not paying

00:03:23 --> 00:03:27
			attention to what's really going
on in front of you. So very good.

00:03:27 --> 00:03:32
			Awesome, you guys. Okay, now this
disease of the heart

00:03:34 --> 00:03:40
			had to do with suspicion and not
being suspicious of people right.

00:03:40 --> 00:03:46
			having thoughts about people for
no reason, right, just thinking or

00:03:46 --> 00:03:47
			wanting to

00:03:49 --> 00:03:52
			look into prying right prying
behavior being suspicious. You're

00:03:52 --> 00:03:56
			trying to find out information
about people with really no

00:03:56 --> 00:04:01
			reason. So let's see who got this.
Very good. So right here,

00:04:01 --> 00:04:05
			excellent, negative thoughts. I
went back to the same one. I'm not

00:04:05 --> 00:04:07
			gonna be predictable you guys.

00:04:08 --> 00:04:13
			Okay, good job. You got it. So you
might get a question or multiple

00:04:13 --> 00:04:17
			questions on the same disease.
Okay. So this disease of the heart

00:04:17 --> 00:04:23
			has to do the prophesy centum
taught us that it's very much

00:04:23 --> 00:04:28
			related to Quebec. Okay. So this
disease is related to Quebec, and

00:04:28 --> 00:04:34
			which we'll talk about soon but it
robs us and taught us that no one

00:04:34 --> 00:04:37
			has the weight of a seed of of
this particular quality in their

00:04:37 --> 00:04:43
			heart will enter paradise. What is
it? Okay, very good. So, amen. And

00:04:43 --> 00:04:47
			if man you gave us the English
which is vanity, very good. And

00:04:47 --> 00:04:53
			beloved also gave us English but
Lala haidara She came with both

00:04:53 --> 00:04:58
			answers. So great job, vanity and
our job okay, so, anytime you're

00:04:58 --> 00:04:59
			vain, right being vain and

00:05:00 --> 00:05:04
			is being consumed with self
adoration. Adoration is like you

00:05:04 --> 00:05:07
			admire yourself, you adore
yourself, you love yourself.

00:05:07 --> 00:05:11
			That's vanity. And so it's really
about the individual and themself,

00:05:11 --> 00:05:15
			and you're not giving Allah
subhanaw taala. any credit for

00:05:15 --> 00:05:18
			anything, you're just Oh, I love
myself, I'm so smart, I'm so

00:05:18 --> 00:05:20
			talented. I'm such a good
basketball player, I'm such a good

00:05:20 --> 00:05:23
			tennis player, or I can play the
piano or I dress so nicely, I have

00:05:23 --> 00:05:28
			such nice hair. So you're just
constantly very focused on all of

00:05:28 --> 00:05:32
			your qualities, but you don't give
credit to Allah subhanaw taala. So

00:05:32 --> 00:05:37
			that is a joke. And then Kibet,
which is what the Arabic word for

00:05:37 --> 00:05:39
			one of the diseases of the heart,
which we're going to talk about

00:05:39 --> 00:05:46
			next week, is arrogance, right.
And arrogance is, is requires. So

00:05:46 --> 00:05:51
			it's different in that it requires
other people. So a vain person is

00:05:51 --> 00:05:55
			just very consumed with their own
feelings of importance. But an

00:05:55 --> 00:05:59
			arrogant person is not only vain,
but they also look down on other

00:05:59 --> 00:06:03
			people. So that's the way that you
tell the difference. That vanity

00:06:03 --> 00:06:08
			doesn't require people, arrogance
does, but they both can sometimes

00:06:08 --> 00:06:11
			affect each other or one can
certainly lead to the other. If

00:06:11 --> 00:06:15
			you are vain, and you keep you
know, increasing and argiope

00:06:15 --> 00:06:18
			you're likely going to develop
arrogance, right? Where you start

00:06:18 --> 00:06:22
			to look down on people and so
that's why we talked about that

00:06:22 --> 00:06:27
			hadith. Very good. Okay, and so
another question and this will be

00:06:27 --> 00:06:28
			the last one and then we'll
continue.

00:06:30 --> 00:06:31
			Let's see here.

00:06:33 --> 00:06:34
			This man

00:06:35 --> 00:06:39
			may give you a good one, one that
is not so predictable.

00:06:43 --> 00:06:45
			Okay, so the problem is I said,
and we talked about a hadith here,

00:06:46 --> 00:06:51
			where, where he taught us that He
who believes in Allah and the Last

00:06:51 --> 00:06:57
			Day must either speak good or
remain silent. Which disease of

00:06:57 --> 00:07:01
			the heart was that about? Which
disease of the heart did recover

00:07:01 --> 00:07:03
			when we talked about that?

00:07:06 --> 00:07:11
			Anybody know? Very good. Okay,
awesome. So I sound came with the

00:07:11 --> 00:07:16
			answers to avoid negative
thoughts. Yes, to have negative

00:07:16 --> 00:07:20
			thoughts. Remember, the danger of
it is that it often leads to false

00:07:20 --> 00:07:25
			speech or wrong speech. And so
that's why we related this hadith

00:07:25 --> 00:07:29
			is because usually, you can't keep
negative thoughts to yourself. So

00:07:29 --> 00:07:33
			it actually is dangerous in and of
itself as a disease but it also

00:07:33 --> 00:07:36
			leads to other diseases like
gossiping and backbiting and

00:07:36 --> 00:07:40
			speaking ill of people. So that's
why this hadith is remind it's a

00:07:40 --> 00:07:43
			reminder for us that whoever
believes in Allah in the last day

00:07:43 --> 00:07:48
			if you're a Muslim, but just speak
good, don't speak ill of people.

00:07:48 --> 00:07:53
			So it stops the negative thoughts
from from leading into even worse.

00:07:54 --> 00:07:58
			Okay, very good. All right. So
let's go ahead and pull up the

00:07:58 --> 00:08:03
			presentation. One second, I just
needed to do something. Alright.

00:08:03 --> 00:08:06
			So get your if you have notes, if
you're taking notes, I don't know

00:08:06 --> 00:08:09
			if you are but this is the time to
get it because we have a new

00:08:09 --> 00:08:12
			presentation. And let me get that
ready.

00:08:14 --> 00:08:20
			So we are on week 33, Thursday,
and here we go. screenshare boom,

00:08:21 --> 00:08:27
			share, and present. Okay, here we
go. Alright, so you guys ready?

00:08:29 --> 00:08:33
			So today, as we talked about last
on Tuesday, I told you guys we're

00:08:33 --> 00:08:36
			going to cover these diseases this
week. So we already covered the

00:08:36 --> 00:08:40
			first three false hope negative
thoughts and vanity. And now we

00:08:40 --> 00:08:45
			are going to cover the next three
fraud Lish anger vada

00:08:45 --> 00:08:49
			heedlessness? Lafleur. So we got
the GS today. Okay, today is the

00:08:49 --> 00:08:54
			day of the G diseases Okay, for
Arabic anyway or hi not G I should

00:08:54 --> 00:08:59
			say. So hiring diseases, okay. And
we'll talk about what each of

00:08:59 --> 00:09:03
			these are. Let's go ahead and get
started. So the first one, fraud

00:09:03 --> 00:09:10
			fish, this is a huge one, okay,
huge, because a lot of people when

00:09:10 --> 00:09:15
			they, you know, think about, you
know, making money or just getting

00:09:15 --> 00:09:19
			ahead in life, they shaytaan will
come into their hearts and tell

00:09:19 --> 00:09:24
			them, you know, to do things that
are not right, just because the

00:09:24 --> 00:09:29
			greed or the desire for that thing
just overtakes their heart. And

00:09:29 --> 00:09:33
			this is the problem with fraud is
that it leads people to do things

00:09:33 --> 00:09:37
			that are haram. For example, if
you're let's say you're selling

00:09:37 --> 00:09:42
			something, right. And some of you
may know, for example, there's a

00:09:42 --> 00:09:46
			website called Craigslist, okay,
and now we have a lot more

00:09:46 --> 00:09:49
			websites, but this is just a
popular website, okay, that a lot

00:09:49 --> 00:09:54
			of adults use to sell things that
they don't want. So they may sell

00:09:54 --> 00:09:58
			like junk, you know, but it's the
way that they take the picture or

00:09:58 --> 00:09:59
			describe that

00:10:00 --> 00:10:03
			thing, let's say it's a piece of
furniture, okay, let's say it's a

00:10:03 --> 00:10:09
			couch. And a person will take the
nicest picture filters, you know,

00:10:09 --> 00:10:13
			make it look super amazing. And
they'll take the front of that

00:10:13 --> 00:10:17
			couch and it looks like a decent
couch. And they set the price. And

00:10:17 --> 00:10:20
			now you have all these people
going, Oh, that sounds nice. Okay,

00:10:20 --> 00:10:25
			I'm interested. And, and someone
may even come and say, I'm going

00:10:25 --> 00:10:28
			to pick it up. And then that
person if they're if they have a

00:10:28 --> 00:10:30
			hunch, what they'll do is they'll
do a few things. Okay, first of

00:10:30 --> 00:10:35
			all, they're hiding the problems
in the couch, which may be the

00:10:35 --> 00:10:39
			back of the couch, maybe there's
marks that they've painted over

00:10:39 --> 00:10:42
			with with paint, or there's
gashes, you know, sometimes,

00:10:43 --> 00:10:46
			couches if they're leather or
fabric, they can have you can, you

00:10:46 --> 00:10:50
			know, things can happen and they
get cuts. So this person may have

00:10:50 --> 00:10:54
			completely hidden all of those
things. And what they'll do is if

00:10:54 --> 00:10:57
			they're really crafty, they'll
say, You know what, pickup time

00:10:57 --> 00:11:02
			you can only come at nighttime,
okay? Come at like, after the

00:11:02 --> 00:11:07
			sunset, and the, the buyer has no
idea why right? The buyers like,

00:11:07 --> 00:11:10
			Okay, if that's the only time that
works for you, that's fine. So

00:11:10 --> 00:11:13
			they go and they go, and at
nighttime, they're dragging this

00:11:13 --> 00:11:17
			big couch, from the garage or
wherever, onto the car. So they're

00:11:17 --> 00:11:21
			not even able to properly inspect
the couch, right? This happens a

00:11:21 --> 00:11:25
			lot. And then they they make the
money transfer, they give the

00:11:25 --> 00:11:28
			cash, and now they go home and
they go on their couch, and

00:11:28 --> 00:11:32
			they're thinking it's gonna look
just like that picture. Right? It

00:11:32 --> 00:11:36
			had it looked really nice and
comfortable. But they suddenly

00:11:36 --> 00:11:39
			sink in the couch, couch, and all
of a sudden, the cushions

00:11:39 --> 00:11:43
			collapse, right? The cushions go
down and there's all these you

00:11:43 --> 00:11:46
			know, maybe noises. And then they
were what what's up with this

00:11:46 --> 00:11:50
			couch, it's not even comfortable.
And then they go around the back

00:11:50 --> 00:11:52
			or they turn it flip it upside
down. And all of a sudden, there's

00:11:52 --> 00:11:56
			all these holes and problems and
maybe even, you know, cobwebs, God

00:11:56 --> 00:12:00
			knows it's might be just like I
said, a piece of junk that this

00:12:00 --> 00:12:05
			person took so much time to
present something that it wasn't.

00:12:05 --> 00:12:08
			So I just you know, that's a piece
of furniture. But people can do

00:12:08 --> 00:12:13
			this to a lot of things like a
car, or even a house. There's

00:12:13 --> 00:12:18
			people who scam right this word
scam you should know to be scammed

00:12:18 --> 00:12:23
			is to trick someone to have
someone sell you something that is

00:12:23 --> 00:12:28
			not real or not true or not as
good as they're making it seem. So

00:12:28 --> 00:12:31
			there's a lot of scammers that
will scam people out of big

00:12:31 --> 00:12:35
			purchase things right? cars,
homes, jewelry, so you'll go to

00:12:35 --> 00:12:38
			the jeweler and it'll this has
actually happened before which is

00:12:38 --> 00:12:43
			very, you have to be very careful
if you if you ever get jewelry or

00:12:43 --> 00:12:47
			like you know, especially
gemstones or certain stones, to be

00:12:47 --> 00:12:51
			careful who you take that jewelry
to to clean it. If it's a real

00:12:51 --> 00:12:55
			diamond, for example, there are
some jewelers who are known to do

00:12:55 --> 00:12:59
			this, they will take your ring and
go, Oh, I'll clean it, but my

00:12:59 --> 00:13:03
			tools are in the back, right. And
you're just standing around

00:13:03 --> 00:13:06
			waiting for them to bring you your
diamond all polished and nice and

00:13:06 --> 00:13:10
			shiny. But they're thieves, they
know exactly how to remove that

00:13:10 --> 00:13:13
			diamond really well. And then
they'll go in the back and they'll

00:13:13 --> 00:13:18
			replace it with like a totally
different false, you know, stone,

00:13:18 --> 00:13:22
			cubic zirconium, there's all these
different stones that can be

00:13:22 --> 00:13:27
			mistaken for a real diamond. And
if you don't have a jewelers eye

00:13:27 --> 00:13:31
			or a tool, I forgot what they're
called to to actually look at the

00:13:31 --> 00:13:36
			diamond, you would have no idea
that that was not your diamond

00:13:36 --> 00:13:39
			because it looks just the same.
And it fits perfectly into the

00:13:39 --> 00:13:43
			ring or the necklace or whatever
it was earrings. So there are

00:13:43 --> 00:13:46
			people who do things like that
they trick they scam, they steal,

00:13:47 --> 00:13:51
			and they justify it because
they're greedy, and they have

00:13:51 --> 00:13:55
			desires for material things that
take over them. So you have to be

00:13:55 --> 00:14:00
			very careful. And that's why, you
know, almost patent awards people

00:14:00 --> 00:14:04
			woe to those who give less than
what to do. So this is a perfect

00:14:04 --> 00:14:08
			example of someone who has a
leash. So if you go and, you know,

00:14:08 --> 00:14:12
			in many world markets, and even in
some markets here, like if you've

00:14:12 --> 00:14:17
			been to sprouts, right? They have
those scales that you can go and

00:14:17 --> 00:14:21
			weigh your, like if you want to
get certain treats or even beans

00:14:21 --> 00:14:28
			and rice, you can weigh the item,
right? And then you you you go and

00:14:28 --> 00:14:32
			purchase it well in other places,
they have scales and have similar

00:14:32 --> 00:14:36
			things, but they might not give
you the full weight of what you

00:14:36 --> 00:14:40
			paid for. Or they'll might take
some off or they might not give

00:14:40 --> 00:14:44
			you the best quality of what you
want. And they justify this

00:14:44 --> 00:14:48
			because it's like, oh, I don't
want my you know, food to go bad.

00:14:48 --> 00:14:51
			I have to sell it. So it's old.
Let's say it's like meat or it's

00:14:51 --> 00:14:55
			something that's been sitting out
for a couple of days. They will

00:14:55 --> 00:14:59
			mix stuff, good stuff, bad stuff
with the good stuff and you don't

00:14:59 --> 00:14:59
			know what to

00:15:00 --> 00:15:03
			You get home. And then you take
out let's say it's like a bag of

00:15:03 --> 00:15:07
			fruits, right? And you take it out
and you're like, What the Why are

00:15:07 --> 00:15:10
			all these rotten fruits in here?
How did this happen? Well, that

00:15:10 --> 00:15:14
			seller, they tricked you, right?
So this is a perfect example of a

00:15:14 --> 00:15:18
			wish, but almost found that as a
warning, never to do that there's

00:15:18 --> 00:15:22
			no justification to trick people.
It's haram, you cannot do that.

00:15:22 --> 00:15:27
			And so there's actually a very
famous Hadith where the prophets I

00:15:27 --> 00:15:32
			sent him was once passing by a
pile of food. And he put his hand

00:15:32 --> 00:15:36
			into it, and his fingers touch
something. So he was in a market,

00:15:36 --> 00:15:40
			you know, and he, he saw some
food, and he put his hands into

00:15:40 --> 00:15:46
			it. And he asked the person, he
said, What is this? And the man

00:15:46 --> 00:15:50
			said, it got rained on because he
the process of touched is the wet

00:15:50 --> 00:15:54
			part, right? And so when he
touched the web part, he was

00:15:54 --> 00:15:58
			wondering why the seller, you know
why it was there in the first

00:15:58 --> 00:16:00
			place? Well, it was this wet
thing. And the seller said that,

00:16:00 --> 00:16:02
			oh, well, rain got on it.

00:16:04 --> 00:16:09
			And he said, Why didn't you put
that wet part on top of the pile,

00:16:09 --> 00:16:14
			so that the people could see it?
Right, because if you see food

00:16:14 --> 00:16:18
			that is dried from the top, but
then the middle of it is spoiled

00:16:18 --> 00:16:21
			or wet, you probably would not
want to get the middle of it. But

00:16:21 --> 00:16:23
			if you're just scooping it up
quickly, and you're not paying

00:16:23 --> 00:16:28
			attention, it looks like all of it
is dry. Right? So he's telling the

00:16:28 --> 00:16:32
			man, why didn't you do that? And
then he tells them very clearly a

00:16:32 --> 00:16:37
			warning. He who deceives does not
belong to me. And then another

00:16:37 --> 00:16:42
			report is he who deceives is not
one of us, or he is not one of us

00:16:42 --> 00:16:45
			who deceives all of them are
saying the same thing, which is if

00:16:45 --> 00:16:50
			you trick people to deceive people
is to lie to trick people. You are

00:16:50 --> 00:16:54
			not counted as part of the OMA of
the province. I said I'm he's

00:16:54 --> 00:16:58
			telling you, you're not in my
alma, you're not part of me,

00:16:58 --> 00:17:02
			you're not part of my disbelief,
this faith of Islam. clear

00:17:02 --> 00:17:06
			warning, we as Muslims do not
trick people. It's haram. Okay,

00:17:06 --> 00:17:10
			such an important disease of the
heart. And we should ask Allah to

00:17:10 --> 00:17:15
			free us from it. Because shaitan
can make someone justify this,

00:17:15 --> 00:17:18
			especially if they're desperate
for money, you really need

00:17:18 --> 00:17:21
			something, you might think, oh,
man, it's okay. They don't need to

00:17:21 --> 00:17:25
			know that, you know, this phone,
let's say you you're trying to

00:17:25 --> 00:17:28
			sell your phone or your computer,
that it has all these problems,

00:17:28 --> 00:17:31
			and that there's a virus on it and
that, you know, it's missing a

00:17:31 --> 00:17:35
			button. I'm just going to sell it
anyway. You know, don't do that.

00:17:35 --> 00:17:38
			You can never do that. You have to
tell people, everything that's

00:17:38 --> 00:17:42
			wrong with the item upfront, and
if they still want to buy it

00:17:42 --> 00:17:46
			that's on them, but you trying to
deceive them into buying it is

00:17:46 --> 00:17:48
			totally forbidden. Okay.

00:17:49 --> 00:17:53
			All right. So the treatment for a
wish is to realize that the last

00:17:53 --> 00:17:57
			part is all knowing and all seeing
and every single thing that we do,

00:17:57 --> 00:18:01
			we're going to be held accountable
for and nothing that you get no

00:18:01 --> 00:18:06
			money, no food from fraud is worth
it, it actually is haram, it's

00:18:06 --> 00:18:11
			gonna cause you harm, okay?
Anything that you get, that's that

00:18:11 --> 00:18:14
			you get from a haram source or
because you did something haram,

00:18:14 --> 00:18:18
			there's no Baraka in it. And I can
actually cause problems for you,

00:18:18 --> 00:18:23
			you could, if you bought food,
with that money that you just

00:18:23 --> 00:18:27
			cheated someone out of, it can
make you sick, there's so many

00:18:27 --> 00:18:30
			problems that could come from that
money or whatever you got from

00:18:30 --> 00:18:34
			this transaction. So that's why
there's no barakah in it

00:18:34 --> 00:18:37
			whatsoever, and there's no point
to do it, you actually could

00:18:37 --> 00:18:41
			invite harm on yourself, even if
you think, Oh, I'm gonna make so

00:18:41 --> 00:18:45
			much money and I'll do good with
it part of it. No, the fact that

00:18:45 --> 00:18:48
			you got it too, by tricking
another person, all of it is

00:18:48 --> 00:18:53
			ruined, okay, so you don't want to
ever justify that kind of stuff.

00:18:54 --> 00:18:57
			And then also remember that the
words of the promise lies and, um,

00:18:57 --> 00:19:02
			that, you know, to, for him to say
that you're not from among us or

00:19:02 --> 00:19:06
			from me, is such a clear warning
all the biller that we would not

00:19:06 --> 00:19:10
			even be considered a Muslim, if we
do something like this. So you

00:19:10 --> 00:19:14
			want to say is it ever worth it?
You know, even if I'm going to

00:19:14 --> 00:19:17
			make some quick money, and I
really want to get something else,

00:19:18 --> 00:19:22
			or in or I think that, Oh, it's
okay, there. This person doesn't

00:19:22 --> 00:19:26
			need to know everything. These are
all the whisperings of shaytaan he

00:19:26 --> 00:19:30
			wants you to do something wrong.
And then he wants you to be, you

00:19:30 --> 00:19:33
			know, hurt by that thing. So, we
have to ask all those find that

00:19:33 --> 00:19:36
			for protection, but that's the
first disease. It's a finish.

00:19:36 --> 00:19:42
			Okay. All right. So the next
disease, this is a big one. Okay,

00:19:42 --> 00:19:48
			a lot of anger. We all know what
anger is. Even young children can

00:19:48 --> 00:19:53
			get angry, right? Anger is a human
emotion. And it's something that

00:19:53 --> 00:19:56
			can be easily triggered based on a
lot of things. Sometimes we get

00:19:57 --> 00:19:59
			hangry for example, if you're
fasting and the more

00:20:00 --> 00:20:04
			Ramadan, and you've ever just
gotten annoyed or short tempered,

00:20:05 --> 00:20:09
			because of for really no reason,
it's likely because you're hangry,

00:20:09 --> 00:20:13
			you're hungry, and you're angry at
the same time. So anger can come

00:20:13 --> 00:20:18
			from that, or it can come from
someone provoking you to provoke

00:20:18 --> 00:20:21
			someone has to, you know, push
their buttons to get them annoyed

00:20:21 --> 00:20:25
			to be a pest, and you're just
trying to make them angry, right?

00:20:25 --> 00:20:30
			So there's a lot of things that
can make us angry. But when we,

00:20:30 --> 00:20:34
			when anger is a problem, it's when
it's for other than the sake of

00:20:34 --> 00:20:37
			Allah subhanaw taala. Because
there's good anger, which is

00:20:37 --> 00:20:41
			necessary, right? There's anger
when someone is doing something

00:20:41 --> 00:20:47
			wrong. And it's a clear, you know,
wrong action and an injustice

00:20:47 --> 00:20:50
			towards a person or a group of
people. You we should that should

00:20:50 --> 00:20:54
			anger us for the sake of Allah, we
should not look at that as

00:20:54 --> 00:20:58
			something light. And then that
makes us call I mean, it makes us

00:20:58 --> 00:21:02
			act, right. So when you see
someone, let's say, being bullied

00:21:02 --> 00:21:06
			in front of you, and you know that
it's wrong, if your response is

00:21:06 --> 00:21:09
			anger for the sake of Allah, then
you go in there, and you try to

00:21:09 --> 00:21:13
			stop the injustice. Right? So
that's a form of healthy anger

00:21:13 --> 00:21:17
			anytime, or anger towards things
that are haram, right? Like, for

00:21:17 --> 00:21:22
			example, the existence of certain
things in the world should anger

00:21:22 --> 00:21:26
			us, like alcohol, alcohol, there's
no benefit to it whatsoever, it

00:21:26 --> 00:21:31
			destroys lives. So many people,
innocent people have died from

00:21:31 --> 00:21:36
			alcohol. So the fact that alcohol
exists, and that people drink it,

00:21:36 --> 00:21:40
			and that it's in restaurants, and
it's in stores, that should anger

00:21:40 --> 00:21:45
			us, when we walk down the aisle of
a grocery store, and we see

00:21:45 --> 00:21:49
			bottles and bottles of disgusting
alcohol, it should fill our hearts

00:21:49 --> 00:21:52
			with anger for the sake of Allah,
you know, not anger, where you're

00:21:52 --> 00:21:56
			just letting your emotions out.
But just like stuffing Allah, why

00:21:56 --> 00:22:01
			are people doing this, this is so
bad for you, and it ruins you

00:22:01 --> 00:22:07
			know, people's lives. So anger is
something again, that when it's

00:22:07 --> 00:22:11
			for the sake of Allah, it's
healthy. But if it's for other

00:22:11 --> 00:22:15
			things that are not tied to the
sake of Allah, and it gets out of

00:22:15 --> 00:22:22
			control, and you start to not just
the experience anger, but you

00:22:22 --> 00:22:28
			become anger, that that's all you
are, you lose your your, your

00:22:28 --> 00:22:33
			sense of calm, you don't know how
to you don't have a Deb, you start

00:22:33 --> 00:22:37
			to maybe say very hurtful things,
abusive things, or you start to

00:22:37 --> 00:22:41
			get physical, right? There's
people who, when they get really

00:22:41 --> 00:22:46
			angry, they lose so much control,
that they may physically react,

00:22:46 --> 00:22:50
			and that could be hitting
something or someone pushing

00:22:50 --> 00:22:54
			something, throwing something,
breaking something. So all of

00:22:54 --> 00:22:59
			those are examples of when anger
is out of control. And it can be

00:22:59 --> 00:23:03
			very dangerous, right? And so
Allah Subhan Allah and the Prophet

00:23:03 --> 00:23:07
			has said them throughout the
Quran, and the Hadith, we have

00:23:07 --> 00:23:12
			warnings about those who are quick
to anger and that lead, forget

00:23:12 --> 00:23:16
			themselves and that they
completely get overtaken by anger.

00:23:17 --> 00:23:21
			So ALLAH SubhanA, Allah describes,
he says, Those who spend in the

00:23:21 --> 00:23:27
			Cause of Allah, during ease and
hardship, and who restrain anger,

00:23:27 --> 00:23:31
			and who pardon people who forgive
people, and Allah loves the doers

00:23:31 --> 00:23:36
			of good. So he's describing for us
who the doers of good are, the

00:23:36 --> 00:23:41
			people who do good are the ones
who restrain their anger, who

00:23:41 --> 00:23:46
			forgive people and who spend, you
know, for the sake of Allah,

00:23:46 --> 00:23:49
			whether they have ease or
hardship. So these are all great

00:23:49 --> 00:23:54
			qualities that people should have,
especially restraining your anger.

00:23:54 --> 00:23:59
			Another two Hadith that are really
important to know, a man wants to

00:23:59 --> 00:24:04
			ask the prophets I sent him What
was the worst thing that one

00:24:04 --> 00:24:08
			incurs concerning God? What that
means is, you know, what is the

00:24:08 --> 00:24:12
			worst thing that could happen to
someone to make a lot upset,

00:24:12 --> 00:24:17
			right? And the end point or what
could What's the worst thing that

00:24:17 --> 00:24:20
			someone could receive from a lot?
And the prophesies of them said

00:24:20 --> 00:24:25
			his wrath? And his wrath? You
know, of course is is his

00:24:25 --> 00:24:29
			chastisement his punishment,
right? So the man asked, How can

00:24:29 --> 00:24:33
			we avoid it? I don't want ever to
see the Wrath of Allah, I don't

00:24:33 --> 00:24:37
			want to ever be punished by Allah.
And he said, Do not become angry.

00:24:38 --> 00:24:42
			So he's telling us that if you
don't want to see Allah's anger

00:24:42 --> 00:24:47
			and wrath, do not become angry, as
as you know, people where you're

00:24:47 --> 00:24:53
			just walking around, always mad,
and you're pushing people and

00:24:53 --> 00:24:56
			hurting people, and just being
cruel because that's what angry

00:24:56 --> 00:24:59
			people do. They start to just be
very careful.

00:25:00 --> 00:25:05
			us and just hurt people, right? So
he's telling us clearly don't

00:25:05 --> 00:25:09
			become angry. Then we have another
man he came and asked the prophets

00:25:09 --> 00:25:14
			I said, give me advice. And so
he's asking the prophet like he in

00:25:14 --> 00:25:17
			remember, the prophet isn't could
say anything, anything to this

00:25:17 --> 00:25:20
			man, the man just said, give me
advice. But the first thing the

00:25:20 --> 00:25:24
			process of them said is do not
become angry. So the man's like,

00:25:24 --> 00:25:29
			okay, and he, you know, he hears
it. And then he says,

00:25:31 --> 00:25:35
			Well, what's next, right? Because
he's kind of like, okay, I got

00:25:35 --> 00:25:39
			that don't be angry. So he asks
again, and the problem was some

00:25:39 --> 00:25:44
			replies, again, do not become
angry. And then he asked a third

00:25:44 --> 00:25:48
			time, and again, the proposition
says, Do not be become angry. So

00:25:48 --> 00:25:52
			this is huge, because the problem
is really trying to get a message

00:25:52 --> 00:25:57
			across that if you want good
advice, the best advice, this is

00:25:57 --> 00:26:03
			the advice to live by do not
become anger, such that all people

00:26:03 --> 00:26:08
			see is your rage, and you lose
control. Because that control that

00:26:08 --> 00:26:12
			you lose can lead to a lot of
harm. People have died because

00:26:12 --> 00:26:17
			someone's lost their control. You
know, this happens all the time in

00:26:17 --> 00:26:21
			this world, where someone lost
their control their anger, got the

00:26:21 --> 00:26:26
			best of them. And then they they
killed, right because of that. And

00:26:26 --> 00:26:30
			so there's so many stories
throughout, you know, the theater

00:26:30 --> 00:26:34
			of that happening as well. And
even the the story of the sons of

00:26:34 --> 00:26:37
			Adam, you know, happy little
cubby, if you study the story of

00:26:37 --> 00:26:41
			the sons of Adam, that, you know,
Kabil is the one who killed his

00:26:41 --> 00:26:48
			brother out of anger and jealousy.
So this is very powerful reminders

00:26:48 --> 00:26:52
			for us that human nature, if we
don't control these emotions, a

00:26:52 --> 00:26:57
			lot of damage can be done, right.
So you always want to think about

00:26:58 --> 00:27:02
			not losing yourself to anger.
There's nothing wrong with having

00:27:02 --> 00:27:06
			anger as an emotion because it's a
human emotion. But it should

00:27:06 --> 00:27:11
			always be for the sake of Allah in
sha Allah. Okay, so let's look

00:27:11 --> 00:27:14
			more at this because this is
certainly not over. One of the

00:27:15 --> 00:27:20
			scholars or scholars have said
that that anger is similar to a

00:27:20 --> 00:27:25
			hunting dog. Okay. So if you look
at this picture here, here's a man

00:27:25 --> 00:27:29
			and he has, I believe it's a hawk,
maybe it's a bird of prey. I don't

00:27:29 --> 00:27:32
			know exactly what maybe it's a I
don't know, my son's might know,

00:27:33 --> 00:27:37
			but it's a hawk or some bird. And
then you have these three dogs.

00:27:37 --> 00:27:44
			And if you see, what is the man
doing, he is holding them all by a

00:27:44 --> 00:27:51
			leash, he is restraining those
dogs, those dogs moved by his

00:27:51 --> 00:27:56
			command, when he tells them to go,
they go, when he releases the

00:27:56 --> 00:28:01
			leash. They, they they go, and
when he tells them to come back,

00:28:01 --> 00:28:05
			they come back, that's the
relationship that a man a hunter

00:28:05 --> 00:28:10
			has with his dogs, or his animals
that hunt or for him, they're

00:28:10 --> 00:28:14
			trained, they know exactly when to
act and when to stop back, right,

00:28:14 --> 00:28:20
			step back. So anger, the scholar
said, is like having a hunting

00:28:20 --> 00:28:25
			dog, right? Without training. And
if you have a dog that can hunt,

00:28:25 --> 00:28:29
			but there's no training, it's
never gonna go and get what you

00:28:29 --> 00:28:33
			needed to get. And it's not going
to point you in the right

00:28:33 --> 00:28:38
			direction. So it's of no benefit
to you, the dog that is trained

00:28:38 --> 00:28:43
			will benefit you when you hunt.
And you let's say, you know, your

00:28:43 --> 00:28:46
			there are people who hunt for
food, you know, they don't have

00:28:46 --> 00:28:51
			grocery stores like we do, they
actually have to go outside, and

00:28:51 --> 00:28:55
			you know, bow and arrow or gun or
whatever they're using, they hunt

00:28:55 --> 00:28:57
			for their food. And what they do
is

00:28:59 --> 00:29:03
			they rely on animals to go and
capture the food, right, these

00:29:03 --> 00:29:08
			sharp, they have sharp eyes,
right? These birds of prey, the

00:29:08 --> 00:29:13
			Falcon, the hawk, whatever it is,
it will be able to the eagle, it

00:29:13 --> 00:29:19
			will be able to, you know,
basically fly around the area of

00:29:19 --> 00:29:23
			where that animal was, was hunted.
So if a man you know uses his bow

00:29:23 --> 00:29:27
			and arrow or a gun, and he shoots
down an animal, from a far

00:29:27 --> 00:29:33
			distance, this hawk or this bird
will be able to let the dogs know

00:29:33 --> 00:29:38
			where to go. Right. So they all
work in this amazing, you know,

00:29:38 --> 00:29:42
			sort of synchronicity together.
But the dog is important because

00:29:42 --> 00:29:46
			he's the one or she's the one if
it's a female dog that is gonna go

00:29:46 --> 00:29:51
			and get the animal that you just
hunted, and then bring it back to

00:29:51 --> 00:29:56
			the hunter. But if that dog isn't
trained, it will have no idea what

00:29:56 --> 00:29:59
			to do. It's gonna go running
around all over the place.

00:30:00 --> 00:30:03
			And playing a game of fetch, and
you're standing there going,

00:30:03 --> 00:30:07
			that's my dinner, can you please
go get the animal I just hunted if

00:30:07 --> 00:30:10
			you're really, this is your
lifestyle, right? So you need a

00:30:10 --> 00:30:15
			trained animal. So anger in a
similar way, it's only useful if

00:30:15 --> 00:30:19
			you have control over it and
you've trained it, it's actually

00:30:19 --> 00:30:24
			harmful and doesn't benefit you,
if you don't train it. So it's so

00:30:24 --> 00:30:28
			important, what a great analogy
that our scholars gave us. So

00:30:28 --> 00:30:32
			Inshallah, think about this next
time you get angry, is your

00:30:33 --> 00:30:39
			hunting dog out of control? And is
it benefiting you at all, if it's,

00:30:39 --> 00:30:43
			if you can't call it back, because
if you can control your anger,

00:30:43 --> 00:30:47
			similarly, like blowing a whistle,
or maybe calling the name of your

00:30:47 --> 00:30:50
			animal, it will come back to you.
But if you have no control, and

00:30:50 --> 00:30:54
			that animal doesn't answer to your
call, then that's what anger can

00:30:54 --> 00:30:59
			become if it's not checked. Okay?
So really important disease of the

00:30:59 --> 00:31:04
			heart to understand. Now, there's
a few different cures, okay? Or

00:31:04 --> 00:31:11
			ways to, to treat this. So, first
and foremost, Imam Al Mohler. He

00:31:11 --> 00:31:15
			talks about this in the book, but
also other scholars have talked

00:31:15 --> 00:31:20
			about this is to remember that
extensive praise and goodness

00:31:20 --> 00:31:25
			associated. Oh, wait, did I cut
and paste the wrong thing? Hold

00:31:25 --> 00:31:27
			on. Oh, sorry.

00:31:29 --> 00:31:31
			Oh, yeah, I'm sorry. No, no, I
read it totally wrong. I

00:31:31 --> 00:31:36
			apologize. Okay. So the first cure
is to remember that there's a lot

00:31:36 --> 00:31:40
			of praise associated with being a
forbearing person. And having

00:31:40 --> 00:31:45
			humility, to be forbearing is to
be patient, that you're able to,

00:31:46 --> 00:31:49
			you know, not give into those
emotions and just have a really

00:31:49 --> 00:31:54
			stable presence. So we know that
there's so much praise for that.

00:31:54 --> 00:31:57
			So remember, it's really good to
have those qualities. And then

00:31:58 --> 00:32:01
			see the ultimate zoetrope, which
is another very famous scholar

00:32:01 --> 00:32:05
			said, that the main reason that
people get angry is because

00:32:05 --> 00:32:09
			they're filled with themselves,
their egos get in the way. So our

00:32:09 --> 00:32:15
			egos are knifes, when it is very,
you know, too strong, it gets in

00:32:15 --> 00:32:20
			our way, right? So we have to just
kind of let go not allow that

00:32:20 --> 00:32:24
			every word someone says to us, or
everything that they do that may

00:32:24 --> 00:32:28
			bother us, that it pushes our
buttons, and then it makes us

00:32:28 --> 00:32:33
			triggered, right? That we suddenly
feel all these, this anger towards

00:32:33 --> 00:32:38
			them. Because people are, that's
just life, you know, this world is

00:32:38 --> 00:32:41
			full of a lot of people, we have a
billion people and some people

00:32:41 --> 00:32:46
			you're gonna get along with, and
some people you're not going to

00:32:46 --> 00:32:49
			get along with, right? And so some
people are going to make you

00:32:49 --> 00:32:52
			happy, some people are going to
make you mad and angry, but you

00:32:52 --> 00:32:56
			have to be in control of your
emotions and not just, you know,

00:32:56 --> 00:33:00
			go this way or that way. You have
to say no, unless it's for the

00:33:00 --> 00:33:03
			sake of Allah, I'm not gonna just
let people constantly make me

00:33:03 --> 00:33:09
			angry, I need to use my own brain,
right. So very important. Now, the

00:33:09 --> 00:33:14
			next cue that email Mahmoud
recommends, is recognizing that

00:33:14 --> 00:33:18
			nothing takes place without
Allah's permission, there is no

00:33:18 --> 00:33:22
			power or might accept with Allah.
So remember that and to also

00:33:22 --> 00:33:24
			remember, right? So that
everything, what that means is

00:33:24 --> 00:33:28
			that everything that happens is
because Allah allowed it to

00:33:28 --> 00:33:32
			happen. And so if you're being
tested in a moment where someone

00:33:32 --> 00:33:36
			or something is upsetting you,
it's an opportunity for you to be

00:33:36 --> 00:33:41
			the best form of yourself, right?
And so look at it as a test from

00:33:41 --> 00:33:45
			Allah. And instead of focusing on
the individual, or the person

00:33:45 --> 00:33:48
			who's bothering you look at it
like Why did Allah put me in this

00:33:48 --> 00:33:52
			situation in the first place? What
am I supposed to learn from this

00:33:52 --> 00:33:57
			lesson, and then you act right?
And so and he also shared that,

00:33:57 --> 00:34:02
			remember that there, whatever we
do in this world, Allah will also

00:34:02 --> 00:34:07
			do that to us. So this is called
reciprocity. If we are people that

00:34:07 --> 00:34:14
			are walking around angry, and not
nice to people and you know, have

00:34:14 --> 00:34:19
			that Allah will show us the same,
He will show us his anger. So we

00:34:19 --> 00:34:22
			have to be very careful. We don't
ever ever, ever, ever want to see

00:34:22 --> 00:34:27
			the anger of Allah subhanaw taala.
So we should not be as the

00:34:27 --> 00:34:31
			professor warned us in the Hadith
before, we should not be people

00:34:31 --> 00:34:35
			who are angry and who are so that
we don't get Allah's wrath. Right.

00:34:35 --> 00:34:38
			So these are just some of the
things to think about. There's a

00:34:38 --> 00:34:42
			few other things that we can do.
So we're taught that lesson taught

00:34:42 --> 00:34:46
			us that when we are angry, of
course, there are certain things

00:34:46 --> 00:34:51
			that we can do in the moment,
right? And in the moment we should

00:34:51 --> 00:34:55
			learn how to respond. So the Bible
says and taught us that if we're,

00:34:56 --> 00:34:59
			you know, angry, and we're
standing up, we should sit down

00:34:59 --> 00:34:59
			okay.

00:35:00 --> 00:35:05
			So sit down immediately, because
just by changing your position can

00:35:05 --> 00:35:08
			sometimes change your mood, right,
you can be a little bit more

00:35:08 --> 00:35:13
			relaxed. Plus, if you think about
it, when someone is angry, and

00:35:13 --> 00:35:18
			they're standing up, it makes them
feel very powerful, because you're

00:35:18 --> 00:35:22
			big, you're puffing yourself up.
And sometimes you're, you know,

00:35:22 --> 00:35:24
			standing a little taller and
looking a little bit more

00:35:25 --> 00:35:30
			aggressive. You know, when you're,
when you're, say, talking to the

00:35:30 --> 00:35:34
			other person who's upsetting you,
you might even go closer to them

00:35:34 --> 00:35:38
			to look more scary and
intimidating. Or maybe even if you

00:35:38 --> 00:35:41
			lose your control completely,
you'll you'll want to push them or

00:35:41 --> 00:35:45
			do something harm to them, right.
All of that can come because just

00:35:45 --> 00:35:48
			because you're standing up and
you're feeling like that, right.

00:35:48 --> 00:35:52
			So when you change your position,
you sit down, it can calm your

00:35:52 --> 00:35:55
			state. Now, if you're sitting in,
you're angry, then you go into a

00:35:55 --> 00:35:57
			lying down position.

00:35:59 --> 00:36:03
			It's really awkward to be super
angry if you're lying down. Okay?

00:36:03 --> 00:36:09
			And I don't want you to, to do
that, like intentionally, but it

00:36:09 --> 00:36:13
			may be just for practice, just to
try to see how it feels when

00:36:13 --> 00:36:17
			you're lying down, to pretend even
to be upset with someone it feels

00:36:17 --> 00:36:22
			awkward, because lying down is
such a relaxed position. Right? So

00:36:23 --> 00:36:25
			that's what we should do and then
we should seek refuge in Allah

00:36:25 --> 00:36:30
			right, we say of the bIllahi min
ash shaytani R regime, we try to

00:36:30 --> 00:36:34
			stay quiet. And then we're told to
make we'll do we'll do is very

00:36:34 --> 00:36:39
			powerful, because it has a cooling
effect. Anger is it gets us hot,

00:36:39 --> 00:36:42
			right? It's our blood pressure
actually goes up, our temperature

00:36:42 --> 00:36:45
			goes up when we're angry, because
the heart is beating faster. So

00:36:45 --> 00:36:49
			there's a lot of physical things
that are happening. So once you go

00:36:49 --> 00:36:53
			and you make well do that cooling
effect of the water just calms you

00:36:53 --> 00:36:57
			down. And suddenly you're able to
maybe think better about what you

00:36:57 --> 00:37:01
			said and you know, you kind of
just have a better response or

00:37:01 --> 00:37:05
			maybe you're calmer so make will
do and then ultimately the best

00:37:05 --> 00:37:09
			thing to do is to pray you ask
Allah Subhana Allah for guidance

00:37:09 --> 00:37:13
			for control for forgiveness,
because if you've said things that

00:37:13 --> 00:37:17
			you didn't mean or regret, you
need to go and ask for forgiveness

00:37:17 --> 00:37:21
			from Allah first and then from the
person or the people. So all of

00:37:21 --> 00:37:26
			these are ways that we can be in
the habit of practicing our to get

00:37:27 --> 00:37:30
			down from that state of anger and
also breathing. I didn't write it

00:37:30 --> 00:37:37
			here. But breathing is very
important, right? When you're in a

00:37:37 --> 00:37:41
			state of heightened emotion, when
you're really really angry. Just

00:37:41 --> 00:37:44
			take a deep breath, hold it in,

00:37:45 --> 00:37:50
			let go that can immediately calm
you down, just forcing yourself to

00:37:50 --> 00:37:53
			change your position and
everything you're because

00:37:53 --> 00:37:57
			otherwise your words are just
going to keep coming. And like I

00:37:57 --> 00:38:00
			said the anger is mine. It's like
a flame it just grows more and

00:38:00 --> 00:38:03
			more. So this is a way of calming
all that down. Okay.

00:38:05 --> 00:38:06
			So here we say.

00:38:09 --> 00:38:09
			Okay,

00:38:10 --> 00:38:15
			now, this is a I know a little
interesting image I found but I

00:38:15 --> 00:38:22
			thought it worked perfectly with
this hadith. Once a man grew angry

00:38:22 --> 00:38:26
			and the Prophet SAW I sort of
noticed how when the face shows

00:38:26 --> 00:38:31
			extreme anger it resembles shaved
on right. So he said I have a word

00:38:32 --> 00:38:38
			if spoken will remove it from him.
It is I seek refuge and God from

00:38:38 --> 00:38:42
			Satan the accursed which is the
English for our the bIllahi min

00:38:42 --> 00:38:46
			ash shaytani R rajim. So, this
picture I thought was perfect

00:38:46 --> 00:38:51
			because he's a man, but look at
what's happening to him. His face

00:38:51 --> 00:38:55
			is turning red look at the veins
in his forehead. He has steam

00:38:55 --> 00:39:01
			coming out of his ears. His teeth
are looking sharp and quite scary.

00:39:01 --> 00:39:06
			He's even frothing at the mouth.
Right? Which is Yeah, someone said

00:39:06 --> 00:39:11
			it looks ridiculous. I agree. But
this is what some people look like

00:39:11 --> 00:39:17
			when they're really really angry.
And, you know, if you've ever, you

00:39:17 --> 00:39:21
			know, been in the state, one of
the ways to really rethink about

00:39:21 --> 00:39:25
			your, you know, your anger
response is if someone were to

00:39:25 --> 00:39:29
			videotape you, if you ever, you
know, are in a situation like

00:39:29 --> 00:39:33
			that, you know, it's maybe
something your mom or dad can do,

00:39:33 --> 00:39:37
			where they just videotape you for
a little bit and you can see

00:39:37 --> 00:39:41
			yourself later. And you might be
shocked. Like what that's how I

00:39:41 --> 00:39:44
			talk and that's how I look. Yeah,
because when you're so angry,

00:39:44 --> 00:39:48
			you're not aware of yourself and
that's the problem you lose all

00:39:48 --> 00:39:54
			control. So you can look really
weird or like this person and just

00:39:54 --> 00:39:58
			very very intense. But this
hadith, the prophesy ism is

00:39:58 --> 00:39:59
			telling us if we want

00:40:00 --> 00:40:05
			To remove the effect of anger,
remember, where does it come from?

00:40:05 --> 00:40:08
			It's bliss, right bliss is,

00:40:09 --> 00:40:13
			is the one who angers us. And
that's why we seek refuge in Allah

00:40:13 --> 00:40:18
			from him. So someone's asking,
smoke doesn't come out. Yeah, our

00:40:18 --> 00:40:22
			smoke doesn't come out. We don't
have that. But we do get hot and

00:40:22 --> 00:40:27
			sometimes, you know, sweaty. So
that's kind of what it's like, you

00:40:27 --> 00:40:30
			know, when you think of smoke from
a boiling pot of water, right?

00:40:31 --> 00:40:35
			It's heat. So think of it that way
that we have heat that's coming

00:40:35 --> 00:40:41
			out of us, right? So, but very
important Hadith to remember.

00:40:41 --> 00:40:45
			Okay, so how do we, so that those
are the treatments? Excuse me? So

00:40:45 --> 00:40:50
			now we're going to the last one,
which is a ruffler heedlessness?

00:40:50 --> 00:40:56
			Okay. hafla This is a very crucial
one to understand. Okay. A lot of

00:40:56 --> 00:40:59
			this some of the scholars say this
is actually one of the root

00:40:59 --> 00:41:05
			diseases to to all of the diseases
of the heart. So hafla is

00:41:05 --> 00:41:10
			purposely turning away from Allah
subhanaw taala and it's

00:41:10 --> 00:41:14
			forgetfulness but it's it's like
you know, but you're just not you

00:41:14 --> 00:41:18
			want to do what you want to do.
And there are people who remember

00:41:18 --> 00:41:22
			we have will we have free will we
have the choice, right to do right

00:41:22 --> 00:41:27
			or wrong? This is the test of the
human being. So if you know what

00:41:27 --> 00:41:31
			is halal and what's haram, and you
know, what's right and what's

00:41:31 --> 00:41:38
			wrong, but you don't follow or
obey Allah subhanaw taala and you

00:41:38 --> 00:41:42
			want to just do whatever you want
to do. This is a hustler, right?

00:41:42 --> 00:41:49
			It's completely giving into your
own desires, and turning away from

00:41:49 --> 00:41:54
			Allah and Allah's father many
warnings about, about this, he

00:41:54 --> 00:42:00
			says and be not of the huffy Loon,
right? The heedless ones. And then

00:42:00 --> 00:42:05
			he describes them they are those
upon whose hearts hearing and

00:42:05 --> 00:42:09
			sight Allah has said a seal and
they are heedless. So because they

00:42:09 --> 00:42:12
			turned away from Allah, Allah has
turned away from them, and we

00:42:12 --> 00:42:17
			never a May Allah protect us all,
from ever being amongst those who

00:42:17 --> 00:42:21
			Allah ever turns away from or who
we turn away from Him, right? So

00:42:23 --> 00:42:28
			here is another really, I think,
powerful image, because it teaches

00:42:28 --> 00:42:33
			us the difference between those
who remember their Lord, they're

00:42:33 --> 00:42:36
			not forgetting a lot, right?
They're remembering remembering a

00:42:36 --> 00:42:41
			lie. He says, why the prophesy
said, I'm said that the example of

00:42:41 --> 00:42:47
			the one who remembers his Lord, in
comparison to the one who does not

00:42:47 --> 00:42:52
			remember his lord is that of a
living creature compared to a dead

00:42:52 --> 00:42:56
			one. So when we look at this
image, we see very clearly, there

00:42:56 --> 00:43:02
			is a living, vibrant, beautiful,
life giving because trees give

00:43:02 --> 00:43:06
			life, right, they give life to all
the insects that are living on

00:43:06 --> 00:43:10
			them, they emit oxygen for us to
breathe, we give them our carbon

00:43:10 --> 00:43:14
			dioxide, they're benefiting
creatures are benefiting the

00:43:14 --> 00:43:19
			earth, their people find shade
under the tree, right? All these

00:43:19 --> 00:43:25
			animals, so much good comes from a
living tree, right? And that is

00:43:25 --> 00:43:29
			the believer, the believer that
remembers their Lord so much good

00:43:29 --> 00:43:33
			comes from them, they're
beneficial to the world. The one

00:43:33 --> 00:43:39
			who is not remembering Allah is
basically like a dead tree that

00:43:39 --> 00:43:44
			isn't a desert. And that really,
there's no benefit whatsoever from

00:43:44 --> 00:43:48
			all right, there's no benefit.
There's no shade, there's no

00:43:48 --> 00:43:53
			fruits, there's nothing, it's just
a dead structure that stands in

00:43:53 --> 00:43:59
			the middle of a have an arid, dry
landscape. And it actually may

00:43:59 --> 00:44:04
			even invite the attention of
vultures and snakes and other

00:44:04 --> 00:44:09
			creatures that really are harmful.
So all of this is to tell us that

00:44:09 --> 00:44:13
			a Hustla which is the when you
forget Allah, this is what it

00:44:13 --> 00:44:19
			does, it makes you like a person
that is just of no benefit. You

00:44:19 --> 00:44:24
			are actually even harmful in many
ways, right to people into the

00:44:24 --> 00:44:28
			creation of Allah. So you are you
have the choice, what is it going

00:44:28 --> 00:44:32
			to be? Where were the all of us
rather be if we could go into this

00:44:32 --> 00:44:36
			picture? On which side would we
rather be on? Right? That's, I

00:44:36 --> 00:44:41
			think, very clear. So this is I
thought it was a good visual for

00:44:41 --> 00:44:47
			us to to understand Hoffler. Now,
how do we treat it?

00:44:48 --> 00:44:52
			Almost by that it says warn them
that on the day of regret, which

00:44:52 --> 00:44:55
			is the Day of Judgment when the
matter will be concluded on that

00:44:55 --> 00:45:00
			day. Everything's done right.
While now they're in a state of

00:45:00 --> 00:45:03
			left, and they do not believe so
one of the treatments is to remind

00:45:03 --> 00:45:07
			people that on the Day of
Judgment, you know, that's it.

00:45:07 --> 00:45:11
			You're there's nothing you can do
at that point. So you know, you

00:45:11 --> 00:45:17
			need to wake up from your sleepy
state and start to make Toba go

00:45:17 --> 00:45:21
			back to our sponsor and ask for
his forgiveness. And you know,

00:45:21 --> 00:45:25
			start doing what you should be
doing and mourn people you know,

00:45:25 --> 00:45:28
			in this world before it's too late
in the next. And then

00:45:30 --> 00:45:35
			also remember that our prayers are
the laws are not answered, okay,

00:45:35 --> 00:45:39
			so, here are the prophesy. centum
said in a hadith call upon Allah

00:45:39 --> 00:45:44
			with certainty that He will answer
you know, that Allah will not

00:45:44 --> 00:45:48
			answer the supplication of a heart
that is negligent and distracted,

00:45:48 --> 00:45:54
			heedless. So the heart of a person
who has ruffler is in this state

00:45:54 --> 00:45:59
			where even there the eyes will not
be answered. And so very

00:45:59 --> 00:46:03
			important, you want to be free
from that. And so, again, there

00:46:03 --> 00:46:07
			are people who will say they're
Muslim, right, and I just want to

00:46:07 --> 00:46:10
			explain, there are people who will
say that they're Muslim, but then

00:46:10 --> 00:46:18
			they do not pray. They may drink
alcohol, they may gamble, they may

00:46:18 --> 00:46:26
			do things that are explicitly
haram, you know, non halal foods.

00:46:26 --> 00:46:31
			So these people they know right
from wrong. They still say they're

00:46:31 --> 00:46:35
			Muslim, but for some reason, they
do not

00:46:37 --> 00:46:40
			prevent or they don't do what
they're supposed to do, they fall

00:46:40 --> 00:46:45
			into sins, and they become
forgetful of their obligations to

00:46:45 --> 00:46:48
			Allah. So this is the group of
people we're talking about, right?

00:46:48 --> 00:46:52
			That they know right from wrong,
but they still choose to do wrong.

00:46:52 --> 00:46:56
			So we ask ALLAH SubhanA data from
protection from all of these

00:46:56 --> 00:47:00
			diseases that he protects us from
a hada from

00:47:02 --> 00:47:07
			fish from hijab and from from
heedless as Buffalo. Okay, so we

00:47:07 --> 00:47:11
			have a spot that I forgive us all.
But this is the class for today,

00:47:12 --> 00:47:16
			we have one last class on Tuesday,
where we're going to be going over

00:47:16 --> 00:47:20
			the rest of the diseases, and it's
going to be a lot. So we're gonna

00:47:20 --> 00:47:25
			have to move very quickly next
week to cover six diseases instead

00:47:25 --> 00:47:30
			of three, double the amount, but
some of them do kind of overlap.

00:47:30 --> 00:47:33
			So with things that we've talked
about before, so inshallah we

00:47:33 --> 00:47:38
			will, you know, just try to move
as quickly as we can. But are

00:47:38 --> 00:47:41
			there any questions? So I'm gonna
go ahead and stop the

00:47:41 --> 00:47:45
			presentation. And now we'll get to
your questions, inshallah.

00:47:47 --> 00:47:52
			Let's see any questions? What
about very good question. So I

00:47:52 --> 00:47:55
			love this question. Thank you.
Amen. For asking, even asked about

00:47:55 --> 00:47:59
			fixing broken, broken things and
selling them, there's nothing

00:47:59 --> 00:48:04
			wrong, we call this refurbished.
So if you have a refurbished item,

00:48:04 --> 00:48:07
			that means it was broken or
something wrong with it was old,

00:48:07 --> 00:48:11
			but you went and you tried to fix
it, enhance it, make it better

00:48:12 --> 00:48:17
			working again, as long as you are
clear with the seller that this is

00:48:17 --> 00:48:22
			not a new product, right? That it
is something that you yourself,

00:48:22 --> 00:48:25
			maybe or you had someone to repair
it, but that it's that it was

00:48:25 --> 00:48:29
			broken, and you've repaired it.
That's there's nothing wrong with

00:48:29 --> 00:48:32
			that. The point of a fish is that
you're trying to hide those

00:48:32 --> 00:48:36
			things. You're actually not being
clear with people. You're

00:48:36 --> 00:48:40
			purposefully hiding the flaws
because you're afraid that if they

00:48:40 --> 00:48:44
			know that it was broken, they
won't buy it. So you're just not

00:48:44 --> 00:48:47
			even going to tell them in the
first place. That's when it's

00:48:47 --> 00:48:49
			fraud and that's when it's haram

00:48:51 --> 00:48:55
			what was the treatment for fraud?
Did we did I not go over that? I

00:48:55 --> 00:48:59
			don't remember now if I did, I
missed that one. I hope not. Let

00:48:59 --> 00:49:03
			me see. I thought I went over it.
But I think we talked about Yeah,

00:49:03 --> 00:49:07
			knowing that a loss plant that a
cease all that you do, right? That

00:49:07 --> 00:49:12
			nothing escapes his knowledge and
that there's no benefit in ever

00:49:12 --> 00:49:18
			taking something that you know
consuming something that was

00:49:18 --> 00:49:23
			bought or or that you got from
fraud that it actually causes you

00:49:23 --> 00:49:28
			harm. Okay, so if you like I said,
let's say you made $10,000 selling

00:49:28 --> 00:49:33
			a car that had engine, you know,
damage that you didn't tell the

00:49:33 --> 00:49:38
			buyer, you know, maybe it was in a
car accident, or there's a you

00:49:38 --> 00:49:42
			know, category of cars that are
called salvaged. Okay, a salvage

00:49:42 --> 00:49:46
			vehicle is a vehicle that was in a
car accident or it was taken by

00:49:46 --> 00:49:48
			the government for some reason,
but it was a there's something

00:49:48 --> 00:49:52
			wrong with the car, that it's not
it's what we call a clean title.

00:49:52 --> 00:49:57
			It's not, you know, it has damage
or prior history of damage those

00:49:57 --> 00:50:00
			cars when you sell them if you're
this

00:50:00 --> 00:50:04
			seller you have to let the buyer
know. Oh, by the way, this car was

00:50:04 --> 00:50:09
			a salvaged car I you know, I
didn't get it from the from a car

00:50:09 --> 00:50:13
			dealership brand new. I didn't buy
it from one owner with no previous

00:50:13 --> 00:50:18
			damage. This is the history of the
car. And so you have to disclose

00:50:18 --> 00:50:22
			that information. Because if you
don't, and you sell a car, because

00:50:22 --> 00:50:28
			from the exterior, the car looks
nice. And the person is like, Oh,

00:50:28 --> 00:50:31
			wow, this looks like a great car
for this price. I'll get it. And

00:50:31 --> 00:50:34
			then they go home. And then a
month later, all of a sudden

00:50:34 --> 00:50:37
			they're having engine problems.
And now they have to spend 1000s

00:50:37 --> 00:50:42
			of more dollars to fix it. That is
totally haram and it's your fault,

00:50:42 --> 00:50:46
			because maybe had you told them
oh, by the way, this car had

00:50:46 --> 00:50:48
			damaged they would have said you
know what? I don't think I want to

00:50:48 --> 00:50:52
			buy it because I don't have the
money. In case it has more

00:50:52 --> 00:50:55
			problems down the line. I need a
good reliable car and then they go

00:50:55 --> 00:51:00
			buy another car. So you have to
just be honest, when Chela, okay.

00:51:04 --> 00:51:09
			So we have what have you judge
someone but you don't mean to but

00:51:09 --> 00:51:12
			you accidentally always do it. But
you don't mean to very good. I

00:51:12 --> 00:51:16
			love that you asked that question,
Captain. Because anytime you have

00:51:16 --> 00:51:22
			a disease in the heart that you
don't want to have, and you are

00:51:22 --> 00:51:25
			repulsed by it, and you hate that
you have it, this is a good sign.

00:51:25 --> 00:51:29
			And so Allah will not hold you
accountable for thoughts that

00:51:29 --> 00:51:33
			you're trying your hardest to push
away, and that you're not happy

00:51:33 --> 00:51:36
			about. So don't worry, that's not
that doesn't mean that you're a

00:51:36 --> 00:51:40
			judge of the person or you're a
bad person. It's when you like to

00:51:40 --> 00:51:44
			think about badly about people and
you like to make judgments and you

00:51:44 --> 00:51:48
			kind of just let your mind go off
and on and on. That's when it's a

00:51:48 --> 00:51:51
			disease of the heart. Okay, but if
you're really struggling and you

00:51:51 --> 00:51:55
			don't like it, but a thought keeps
entering your mind, just say all

00:51:55 --> 00:51:58
			the blemishes on him and move on.
Don't make it a big deal. Don't

00:51:58 --> 00:52:01
			sit there and beat yourself up
over it and go and say I'm a

00:52:01 --> 00:52:04
			horrible person. No, because if
you didn't have that thought,

00:52:04 --> 00:52:08
			intentionally then it was probably
just once was from che Don because

00:52:08 --> 00:52:11
			you know, he likes to whisper and
to make us think bad things. So

00:52:11 --> 00:52:13
			don't worry. Okay.

00:52:14 --> 00:52:20
			Oh, no Kenza, I'm so sorry to hear
that. I hope you and your father

00:52:20 --> 00:52:21
			and our safe.

00:52:22 --> 00:52:27
			Someone shared that they were in a
in an accident, and I pray that

00:52:27 --> 00:52:28
			you guys are all safe.

00:52:32 --> 00:52:33
			Let's see here.

00:52:34 --> 00:52:39
			If you're really poor than Are you
allowed to deceive? No, you cannot

00:52:39 --> 00:52:42
			deceive people, even if you're
really poor, there's no theft.

00:52:42 --> 00:52:47
			There's no begging people. There's
nothing fraud. None of it is

00:52:47 --> 00:52:51
			permissible, whether you're poor
or rich, it doesn't matter. It's

00:52:51 --> 00:52:55
			wrong. And Allah subhanaw taala is
the one who provides so if you're

00:52:55 --> 00:52:59
			in need, or supposed to turn to
Allah, if you're hungry and poor,

00:52:59 --> 00:53:02
			you turn to Allah and you ask him
to provide for you and he will,

00:53:03 --> 00:53:06
			the money will come the food will
come. There are people all over

00:53:06 --> 00:53:10
			the world who are homeless who are
poor, but they still eat every

00:53:10 --> 00:53:13
			day, or maybe every other day, but
they eat and they still have

00:53:13 --> 00:53:18
			something because Allah is the One
who provides for them. Inshallah,

00:53:18 --> 00:53:19
			okay.

00:53:22 --> 00:53:26
			Let's see. Oh, thank you, Lola.
Very sweet. I look forward to

00:53:26 --> 00:53:30
			seeing you on Tuesday. And you're
very welcome. She thanked me for

00:53:30 --> 00:53:33
			taking the time to do this. Thank
you for being here. Thank you for

00:53:33 --> 00:53:36
			taking the time to be a part of
this. You guys are so sweet.

00:53:41 --> 00:53:44
			Okay, very good. Bilal asked this
great question. Thank you. Bella,

00:53:44 --> 00:53:48
			you said earlier that a fish leads
to haram income. How can you

00:53:48 --> 00:53:52
			purify your haram income we talked
about this. When we talked about

00:53:53 --> 00:53:57
			miserliness and we talked about
the importance of getting the cat

00:53:57 --> 00:54:02
			and set up and realizing that none
of that diminishes your wealth. It

00:54:02 --> 00:54:05
			doesn't take away from your
wealth, and it actually purifies

00:54:05 --> 00:54:09
			your wealth. We also talked about
it what other disease remember we

00:54:09 --> 00:54:12
			did that washing now I'm
forgetting my stuff. But when we

00:54:12 --> 00:54:14
			did the washing of the clothing,

00:54:15 --> 00:54:19
			fear of poverty, we talked about
it when we talked about hopeful

00:54:19 --> 00:54:24
			factor we talked about how's the
cat and set up that purifies any

00:54:24 --> 00:54:29
			haram wealth that you have. Okay,
yes, if you give sadaqa it will

00:54:29 --> 00:54:35
			purify your wealth Inshallah, for
you know, we shouldn't knowingly

00:54:35 --> 00:54:40
			have haram income, but if you
don't know, if maybe some of your

00:54:40 --> 00:54:44
			income is haram, then that's the
way to purify it inshallah.

00:54:45 --> 00:54:50
			Okay, um, let's see, I'm just
wanting to make sure I get all the

00:54:50 --> 00:54:52
			questions, a lot of comments
coming here.

00:54:54 --> 00:54:57
			Someone asked What if a Muslim
killed 100 people is he still a

00:54:57 --> 00:55:00
			Muslim? Okay, well, there is a
very famous

00:55:00 --> 00:55:02
			Less Hadith that actually speaks
to that.

00:55:03 --> 00:55:08
			Where a man came, this was a long
time ago and he came to

00:55:09 --> 00:55:14
			a Christian, you know, and he
said, I have killed 99 people, I

00:55:14 --> 00:55:17
			think it was a Christian in my
world. I'm not sure actually don't

00:55:17 --> 00:55:21
			quote me on that. I think he was
just a religious leader of his

00:55:21 --> 00:55:26
			time and that time, but he said
that he, you know, had killed 99

00:55:26 --> 00:55:31
			people. And so then he asked him,
he said, I want to be better

00:55:31 --> 00:55:35
			person, but I want to get better.
I want to make Toba. I want to,

00:55:35 --> 00:55:39
			you know, be get close to God,
will your God forgive me? And that

00:55:39 --> 00:55:45
			man said, No, he was like, Nope,
you know, you're too. You've done

00:55:45 --> 00:55:49
			too much evil. There's no hope for
you. Sorry. So the man was so

00:55:49 --> 00:55:52
			overcome by his anger. And this is
a good story because it relates to

00:55:52 --> 00:55:55
			anger. He was so overcome by his
anger again, that he ended up

00:55:55 --> 00:56:01
			killing that man. So now he's
killed 100 People eex. Right. This

00:56:01 --> 00:56:05
			is a pretty awful person that
right and in terms of what he's

00:56:05 --> 00:56:09
			done, so he's killed 100 people,
but he makes he wants to make

00:56:09 --> 00:56:15
			Toba. He's not Muslim. He's never,
you know, had good guidance

00:56:15 --> 00:56:18
			before. And he wants to become a
better human being. So he goes,

00:56:18 --> 00:56:22
			and he finds a Muslim, you know,
and he asks him, he says, you

00:56:22 --> 00:56:27
			know, can I? Or I want to become a
better person, this is what I've

00:56:27 --> 00:56:32
			done. Can I will your God forgive
me? And that man tells him Yes,

00:56:32 --> 00:56:37
			but you have to leave this place
that you're in, because the place

00:56:37 --> 00:56:41
			that you're in is not good. It's
corrupt. And it's part of the

00:56:41 --> 00:56:45
			reason why you are you've done all
the bad things you've done. So go

00:56:45 --> 00:56:49
			to this other place, and he told
him where to go. And he said over

00:56:49 --> 00:56:53
			there are really good people, and
they will make you better. They're

00:56:53 --> 00:56:57
			believers, right? They're Muslims.
Muslim is a believer right? There,

00:56:57 --> 00:57:01
			there are people that will make
you better. So just go to those

00:57:01 --> 00:57:06
			people. So he was so happy,
because he never thought that he

00:57:06 --> 00:57:09
			could be forgiven for all of the
crimes he had done in here.

00:57:09 --> 00:57:12
			Someone gave him hope. So he was
so excited that he ended up you

00:57:12 --> 00:57:17
			know, going to that place and on
his way, something interesting

00:57:17 --> 00:57:23
			thing happened, he died, okay, so
he dies. Now, when someone dies,

00:57:23 --> 00:57:26
			there's two different angels that
come if they're a believer, and

00:57:26 --> 00:57:31
			they're Muslim, when the angel of
Rama comes, right, and that angel

00:57:31 --> 00:57:36
			comes to take the soul. And then
the if it's an unbeliever or a bad

00:57:36 --> 00:57:39
			soul, then the angel of torture
comes, you know, there's different

00:57:39 --> 00:57:42
			angels, and they each have their
own job. And so that person

00:57:42 --> 00:57:45
			because they're not destined for
you know, that they they were a

00:57:45 --> 00:57:49
			bad person, that angel takes them.
So when they both come, they're

00:57:49 --> 00:57:53
			like looking at each other like,
Huh, what are you doing here? What

00:57:53 --> 00:57:55
			are you doing here, because it's
usually one or the other, not

00:57:55 --> 00:57:59
			both. And of course, I'll just
find that as knowing he's

00:57:59 --> 00:58:03
			witnessing everything. And he's he
decides to send Jabril Ali salaam

00:58:04 --> 00:58:08
			to go and give them instructions
on what to do, because they don't

00:58:08 --> 00:58:11
			know what to do. So when the
realism comes, he They explained

00:58:11 --> 00:58:15
			to him what happened. And then he
says, he says the order the

00:58:15 --> 00:58:21
			command is that you have to
measure the distance from where

00:58:21 --> 00:58:25
			the man was, like, where the city
that he was leaving from, to where

00:58:25 --> 00:58:29
			he was going. And whichever place
he was closer to where he he's

00:58:29 --> 00:58:33
			passed away, he's died on the
road. Whatever place he was closer

00:58:33 --> 00:58:38
			to the angel will take him. So if
he's closer to the place, the bad

00:58:38 --> 00:58:42
			place, the angel of torture will
take him. And if he's closer to

00:58:42 --> 00:58:48
			the good place, the angel of mercy
will take him. So they measured

00:58:48 --> 00:58:55
			the distance and he was one hand
spanned. So a whole distance of

00:58:55 --> 00:58:58
			the hand closer to the place that
he left from.

00:58:59 --> 00:59:04
			So at that point, the angel of
torture was ready to go take his

00:59:04 --> 00:59:08
			soul, because that's what the
command was. And then it just your

00:59:08 --> 00:59:12
			video said, Wait. And he said,
I've been commanded to what do

00:59:12 --> 00:59:18
			what? to constrict the earth. So
that means he brought he squeezed

00:59:18 --> 00:59:23
			the lands together, so that he was
now closer to the place he was

00:59:23 --> 00:59:28
			going. And then at that point,
this is all from Allah, right?

00:59:28 --> 00:59:32
			Because Allah can forgive anyone
he wants to. And he saw the

00:59:32 --> 00:59:35
			sincerity in this man, that he
wanted to be better and he wanted

00:59:35 --> 00:59:38
			to be a Muslim. He wanted to be a
believer. And so even though he

00:59:38 --> 00:59:42
			was taken and his soul was taken
before he could do all of those

00:59:42 --> 00:59:47
			things, Allah still forgave him,
and he accepted him as a Muslim.

00:59:47 --> 00:59:51
			And the angel of mercy took him So
this story is related to us a lot

00:59:51 --> 00:59:55
			of lessons that we can take from
it right about anger and the

00:59:55 --> 01:00:00
			danger of it but also of the Mercy
of Allah subhanaw taala. So to end

01:00:00 --> 01:00:04
			answer that question for the
person who asked. Allah is the

01:00:04 --> 01:00:10
			only one who can judge us
according to what we've done. And

01:00:10 --> 01:00:14
			he's the only one who can forgive
or not forgive so it's entirely up

01:00:14 --> 01:00:18
			to him. But that hadith is
specifically about someone who

01:00:18 --> 01:00:21
			killed 100 people. So that's why I
thought it was important to share

01:00:21 --> 01:00:22
			it.

01:00:23 --> 01:00:27
			The thank you for asking. Alright,

01:00:27 --> 01:00:31
