Hosai Mojaddidi – Jinas Declaration of Faith (Shahadah)

Bismillah Al Rahman Luffy. We are so so blessed here at the MCC

today, we have sister Jenna and her husband, brother Trent.

Joining us today to make the testimony of faith Well, in

particular for Sister Jenna. And humbler brother Trent has already

taken his Shahada. But he is here, obviously, to support his wife,

the family is all here, it's a family affair. We're just

incredibly honored and blessed that you chose this community

center to have this momentous event here. hamdullah, we have

some community members here, I just wanted to begin this process

by going over some of the just general basics of what we actually

do when you enter Islam. The the process that we're about to do is

pretty simple. We, I will make the declaration of faith in Arabic and

and give you the meaning in English. And you will repeat the

Arabic with me. So I'll go slowly. So don't worry, I'll make sure

that every word is clearly pronounced for you. And you just

repeat and as soon as you repeat, and obviously that you you know,

testify to what you're saying, and you have that belief in your

heart. That's that's the process, it takes just a few minutes to

come into this beautiful tradition. So that's, that's, you

know how we do it. But prior to or before we actually begin, I just

wanted to ask you, if you would like to maybe share just a few

words about what brought you to this place. And and what why you

have decided to accept Islam. Okay.

So, my fiancee, Trent got introduced to it, about a month

and a half ago. And a month ago, he took his shahada, and it caused

a lot of conflict in our home. But through all that conflict, I saw a

real big change in his soul and in his heart. And

that, just that change, it really brought joy. And I've never felt

that sort of sense of peace and love. And so I

read the pamphlet, I prayed with him throughout the day. And in two

days, I just I couldn't deny the truth and the word of God. And

I didn't have any words to explain it, but more so of

a sense of peace and just love in my heart.

Thank you, thank you so much for sharing that. Can I ask what your

faith? Or did you have a faith prior? And what was that big? That

was the Latter Day Saints? Very good. So the Latter Day Saints.

Now did you in your reading of Islam? Obviously, you you've read

about what the core beliefs are? Yes, the oneness of God, the

prophecy of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, as well as the

prophecy of all the previous prophets, including Jesus Christ.

Yes. So you accept that Jesus Christ peace be upon him is a

prophet and has no divinity and is not the Son of God? Yes, * yes.

Very good. We just always like to make sure that those things are

clear, especially for our brothers or brothers and sisters from the

Christian faith who are entering Islam, just to make sure that all

of those points are clear, because that is the main core difference

between us and the previous Judeo Christian tradition. You know,

many of the beliefs are very similar as you will learn and

we're excited to offer you the material and the resources and the

access to to teachers Inshallah, as you continue your journey so

that you learn, continue to learn, but we'll go ahead, if you're

ready, Inshallah, yes, we are all excited, or it will go ahead and

begin the testimony of faith. So I'll, I'll go ahead and say to you

the ink the Arabic first we'll do the Arabic process and then I'll

repeat to the meeting so you know what you're saying. Okay, so the

very first thing we're going to say is a shadow, a shadow and La

Ilaha. an la ilaha. Il Allah, il Allah, what ash hadoo what ash

hadoo Anna? Anna Muhammadan Muhammadan rasul Allah Rasul

Allah. Very good. We'll do it one more time. Okay. I shall do a

shadow. And let ILA and La ilaha IL Allah, il Allah. What ash hadoo

what ash hadoo Anna, Anna, Mohammed. Mohammed Dang.

Rasul Allah, rasool Allah, very good Mashallah. What you just

testified to you said, I bear witness that there is no God, but

God or Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of

God hamdulillah Welcome to this beautiful tradition Welcome to

this community are so again very, very happy and honored that you

chose this community center to do this with Hamdulillah. You are now

and you were prior to even coming here because the faith was evident

mashallah, in your words and in your smile and in your eyes, that

you were already a Muslim, but now we've just solidified it. So

welcome. We're so so happy to have you. But hamdulillah Allahu Akbar

Alhamdulillah. Now it's time for hugs and a lot of love. Thank you,
