Allah chose
us to carry this amana, and Allah
empowered us over all of the rest of
his creation.
This is a great honor. These are things
we never think about.
Allah empowered us over all of the rest

This is why
religion was
traditionally inseparable from the state.
This is why people used to make sacrifices.
This is why people used to send prayers.
This is why people used to understand
that there is a system

we derive our legitimacy.
Otherwise,
there are animals that are bigger than us.
There are animals that are faster and more
powerful than us. There are animals that even
have the,
ability to
grasp and understand,
things with their brains that that that that
we do or perhaps the distance is not
all that far.
But the
quickening and the enlivening of the heart and
of the mind, it comes from that higher
realm.
That using the same tools that all of
the other animals have, Allah
gave us this ability not only to rise
above the rank of the other animals, but
to rise
even to the rank and above the rank
of the angels and of the other spirits
and of the other creations that Allah has
made. The number of which are,
uncountable and unknowable by Allah
Indeed, he is We
praise him.
The
praise to Allah, the lord of the worlds.
And
what we understand from it is very little
and what we've seen from it is very
little. And Allah empowered us over all of
them. Why?
Because we derive,
this favor and this blessing
from our arrangement,
in this world
according to the system and according to the
nivam and according to the order of that
higher world. And it is what gives us
a leg up over the whales and it's
what gives us a leg up over the
chimpanzees and the gorillas.
It's what gives us a leg up over
the gins. It's what gives us even a
leg up over the angels. That the angels
should marvel,
at the rank of insan.
That Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala should command the
angels
that they they they lined the path,
with their wings spread out and lowered
out of their pleasure and plea pleased
state and out of their marvel for the
student of knowledge. And that's the student of
knowledge. So think of what the of an
of a person who carries the secret inside
of their heart is. And
if that's the, the the the rank of
the person who carries the the secret inside
of his heart, then imagine what the rank
is.
Uh-uh
of the one who that they that they
inherited their ilm from
So brothers and sisters,
amidst all of the, you know,
mortgages, halal, and otherwise.
And
amidst all of the the the degrees from
the different schools.
And amidst all of the $30,000 and $100,000
wedding parties.
And amidst,

but also by the ancient Hakama,

physicians
that
the reason the body takes fever is not
necessarily because of something that the
the sickness is doing.
Rather, the body itself will
readjust its thermostat and make things a little
bit hotter,
so that it it at that higher temperature,
not only functions more efficiency
efficiently, but it also
makes it difficult for that,
contagion and that sickness to live inside of
the body.
The the contagion and the sickness will die
at a faster rate when
the, when the when the fever is
taken grip of, of the the the the
the body of the sick person or the
ill person.
And so,
the fever, even though it is a cause
of pain and discomfort for the,
for the the one who is sick, It
itself is a blessing. Why? Because it causes
the body to purge the contagion at a
higher rate, and it causes the body to
be able to fix what's broken. And ultimately,
even though a fever may be a sign
of illness, it may be related to illness,
it is from the vigor of the body,
because once the vigor is gone, the body
doesn't burn. Rather, it goes cold,
and that's the ultimate, that's the ultimate end
for the that body in this phase of
existence.
And so we see signs from Allah
in this as well for us
as believers, as individuals in our iman,
and as a ummah, and as a community,
who is mandated by Allah
to be his khalifa in this world and
to be the steward over his creation
and to be,
smarter
and harder working
and faster and more just and more beautiful,
inwardly and outwardly than all of his creation.
That Allah
says, that
this, establishment of the dhikr of Allah is
from the zina. It is from the beauty
of,
of of of insan and the beauty of
creation itself.

not object,
to some degree of beautification,
of the Masajid,
and that the Masajid were those buildings that
there was no building that was like it,
amongst the buildings of the high of the

tied and appended to their names. They're busy
chasing the dunya.
They no longer care about what's written in
the books of. They no longer care about
the surahs of the Quran, long and short.
They no longer care about,
you know, about what's happening in the house
of Allah.
They no longer care about each other either.
So the so that the the Arabs only
care for the Arabs, and the Turks only
care for the Turks, and the Indians only
care for the Indians. And even amongst them,
the Pakistanis are
pleased with their Pakistan, and the the the
Hindustanis are pleased with their Hindustan, and the
Bangladeshis are pleased with their Bangladesh. And they
don't even care for the Bangla speaking people
who are on the other side of an
imaginary line.

people within Pakistan,
the don't care about the Punjabis, and the
Punjabis don't care about the Sindhis. Everybody is
every man for himself.
This sickness has multiplied
inside of the body of the Ummah, and
the way that the body is going to
purge this sickness is what? Through fever.
The body is going to have to heat

The body is going to have to take
vigor in a way that may be discomforting,
but will be the only way that it
will purge itself from, this illness,
which means that people need to make.
They need to return to Allah

of those people who needs to
take his
seriously again like he used to take, who
needs to take the recitation of the Quran
again seriously
as he used to take, who needs to
eat less and sleep less, and who needs
to work harder
and not rest on
the dunya that he's been bestowed or the
or the respect that he's been bestowed, by
people,
which is all a a mirage.
All a mirage. It can
just like a mirage looks like water, but
you can't drink from it. There's no is
that and there's no respect except for from
Allah
Everything else is sarab. It's just a mirage.

of justification for them in the Sharia

recognizing that they are a barrier between us
and Allah
or their distraction between us and Allah
it's going to have to be purged.

you know, again, regardless of what your opinion
is with regards to, you know, controversies,
about whether the should be held or not
or the massages should be opened or closed.
The fact of the matter is that so
many of the massages are closed.
And, you know, these these,
tribulations,
they are a blessing for us and they
are cursed for for for for those who
don't believe.
And,
if you
feel afraid now
that, you Allah, we had this blessing, we
took it for granted, and it's gone now.
And if you don't want to do something,
if you don't wanna fast,
if you don't want to,
read a Jisul of Quran, if you don't
wanna sit in a room and take the
divine name, and you don't wanna sit in
a room and say separately
or in a group
out loud or quietly
with your tongue or in your heart.
If you don't want to raise your hands
and make dua,
if you don't want to make amends with
people
that you've wronged,
if you don't want to make amends with
your family,
are you at at the brink
of causing mischief in the earth and cutting
the
relationship that you have with your, with your
kin?
If we don't wanna do these things, then
do you think that this is gonna come
back automatically?
If everybody is happy to sit at home
and watch Netflix,
and, you know, the more miserly amongst us
or cheap amongst us watch YouTube.
And we're happy to do those things, and
we don't want to put in a little
bit of extra effort,
in order to in order to ask Allah
Ta'ala for this nema and show him how
much it means to us, this blessing.
Then do we think it's going to come
back automatically?
Nothing happens automatically.
Nothing happens automatically. Allah made this material
dunya, a world of causes and effects so
that we could take heed and take a
lesson from it that in the higher realm,
there's a higher order. And just like there's
a system here, there's a system over there,
and that system is even stricter than the
one that's,
functioning,
here on the floor.
Do we think that those things are going
to come back,
automatically? Absolutely not.
We are going to miss salat after salat,
and we are going to miss Jummah after
Jummah. And those, faces that used to be
established in the will pass, And those people
who used to make vicker in the dark
while we were asleep will leave, and those,
tongues that used to read the Quran will
pass on to Allah
1 by 1.
I used to be afraid before what will
happen if Allah give me life longer than,
if Allah give me life longer
than, our
and our elders,
and we're seeing them pass 1 by 1.
I used to be afraid. I thought that
these people are the ones I used to
think that the,

probably, you know, some percentage true and some

And then I saw them and I said,
this is actually these people actually exist.
What does it mean if everything is
in the state that it's in and these
people are still amongst us once they leave?
What will happen?

we've lived to see these days that we
see what that is. And, you know, the
issue is this is the point is not
necessarily to be,
someone who's forecasting doom and gloom.
Rather, Allah
who was there,
to protect our forefathers, he's there right now
to protect us as well.
And through his omnipotence and his,
his ability to do all things,
he was able to protect them and give
them honor, and he's also able to protect
us and give us honor. And he was
able to send down,
those people
who
would generate,
the amount of and and
the of Allah's rahma and the of the
Anwar that come with that rahma,
upon this
that held at bay,
its enemies and those things that would destroy
it.
And, he's able to make those people
now. And even more marvelous than that, even
more marvelous and even a greater show of
his power is that he's able to make
people
like you and me into them. But there
has to be somebody who asks. There has
to be somebody who wants it.
There has to be somebody who tries. If
you ask, it doesn't mean that you'll get
it. But if you never ask, then how
will you
how will you receive it? May Allah
make all of you all of you from
his
and say, I mean, if you're the son,
if you're the son of a a man,
if you're the son of a a believer,
then say, I mean, and don't be afraid
of what will happen to your life afterward
even though a coward would be afraid and
should be afraid.
Allah
has the ability of
making those and making those
situations
come to pass that will rectify the state,
that will bring back the
and bring back the and
more than that, bring back the state inside
of the hearts,
the that people should be
constantly,
in his remembrance, and they should once again
live for his sake and die for his
sake. That they're coming together should be his
sake for his sake and their separation should
be for his sake rather than treating Islam
like a culture,
rather than treating Islam,
like an afterthought,
rather than treating Islam like a set of
dietary restrictions or treating Islam like a set
of rituals, like, church going people do for
their Sundays,
rather than treating Islam
like a race
or set of political objectives,
that that the remembrance of Allah should enter
their heart and it should then,
change them and change those around them for
the better.
So,
it's a big it's a big task.
And
instead of fooling ourselves
into thinking that,
you know, that that these things are going
to just happen easily because they're not
just like if I told you, okay. Go
earn a $1,000,000,000
and then day after tomorrow, fix the world's
problems. It's not it's not easy. You know?
Somebody who's selling you something like that, that
person is joking with you.
That person is a joker, and the joke
is not funny anymore.
Rather,
it's difficult. It requires work.
If you cannot solve all the problems of
the world, solve just one problem.
This darkness that has cast a shadow and
a cloud over,
every one of our houses.
Break it.
Sit together with your wife, with your
children, with your brothers and sisters,
with your cousins.
If out of 50 of you, only 3
of you will will will heed the call,
then let those 3 sit together. And if
nobody else will, then sit alone.
Sit and say your prayers and sincerity toward
him.
Make dua
that
There is no god except for you. Exalted
are you above blemish.
Indeed, I was from the wrongdoers.
And ask Allah to Allah for Tova.

Oh, the one who is ever living
and all the one through whom all creation
subsists.
I cry out
for your mercy.
Here is the, the cry that a person
makes when they're in mortal danger.
The cry that a person makes, that anyone
who hears that shriek will know that this
is business. This is not a joke. That
this is very serious.
That that, this patient, if the doctor doesn't
get to him right away,
his nafs is going to leave his body,
that we cry out such for your mercy.
And we ask that you rectify for us
our, affairs,
all of them, and that you don't, leave
us to the devices of our own
egos even for the blink of an eye.
And this is one of the things that
we mentioned in the masjid the other day.
That this is part of our as well
that,
said, Imam
mentions in clarification
that, woman,
yes,
That the that nobody is free of need
for Allah even for the twinkling of an
eye.
And the person who wrongly
wrongly believes that they are free from Allah
even from need total and complete need from
Allah even for the twinkling of an eye,
That person has disbelieved in Allah and that
person has,
become one of the people of perdition and
and eternal loss.
So we said that don't don't leave us
to our own devices. Don't leave us to
our own selves even for the twinkling of
an eye.

We rectify all of our affair for us,
and don't leave us to our own devices
even for the twinkling of an eye. That
we ask Allah by the barakah of,
that I seek refuge in Allah to Allah.

in the heavens nor the earth has any

who sent down this

is the one who, guards,

nor any force through which a person can
establish the obedience of Allah to Allah or

I place my trust,
and he is the lord of the magnificent

who seeks his aid.

of those who give sadaqah of the charity

of those who give and the zakat of

ilma, the ulema, the knowledge of the people
of knowledge and the salah of the
and the willai of the oliya,
the righteousness of the, righteous, and the sainthood
of the saints, and the elect of Allah
ta'ala's creation.
And by the barakah
of.
There is no god except for Allah and
that Muhammad is his messenger.
And may the peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him. And by the barakah of
the divine names,
and by the divine name, by the barakah
of Allah, Tah's beautiful names, and by the
barakah of Allah Allah,
which we take on our tongues,
lightly. But indeed, it's
a heavy word, a word,
which
literally,
grips
and, holds together, the entire creation.
And even then,
that's the lesser part of its its greatness.
And by the of all those things that
we mentioned and that we didn't mention, by
the of the greatest of Allah's gift,
to his creation and the greatest of his
creation,
and his Mubarik companions and his Mubarik wives
and his Mubarik family and progeny.
And
by the barakah of those things we know
and those things that we don't know. That
every time you sit and you turn toward
Allah
not merely just by facing your body toward
the qiblah,
But turning your heart,
toward his that.
He is with you wherever you are.
And he is closer to you, than your
own carotid artery, that you turn your heart
toward him. That in this darkness and blackness,
which
has enveloped the creation and which has enveloped
even the ummah of the prophet
that the hearts are sick and they're dying.
That you generate the heat and the vigor
of that fever, and that even in the
the the black hand of,
the dark hand of, which is smothering and
suffocating
even the hearts of the believers at this
moment.
That you you you
look inside of your heart and in your
meditation,
even if the room is completely pitch dark
with the lights out,
that you feel,
you feel that a chasm of light has
opened up,
over your house. And for those 5 minutes,
for those 2 minutes, for those 30 seconds
in which you turn with sincerity and toward
Allah
that a chasm of light has opened up
and that noor is coming down, upon you
and upon the people of your house and
that protection of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is
coming down upon you and upon the people
of your house and that you have, the
upper hand.
Because you have in that moment Allah with
you.
That you have the upper hand and you
see a pathway toward
every problem being solved, and you see a
pathway toward every harm being lifted, and you
see a pathway toward every difficulty being made
into ease.
We take a very beautiful lesson from
one
of Allah to Allah's prophets, a person who
wasn't even from Banu, Israel.
But he was a of Allah to Allah.
He loved Allah so much, and Allah gave
him from every,
jinns of Niama. Allah gave him from every,
type of of of,
every genus of blessing.
And
Shaitan made the complaint that this man only
loves you because of all the good things
you give him. You take them away. And,
look what a,
you know, like, look what will happen to
him. He'll become worse than anybody else.
And it's very interesting. Shaitan said this. And
one of Shaitan's,
Sigmund Freud, he also said something similar to
this as well.
He said that if you take a human
being and strip them from all of the
those things, you know, the fulfillment of all
their needs that are being fulfilled, if you
make them naked and hungry and scared and
all of these things, you'll see that everybody
degrades to the same animalistic,
same animalistic
baseline.
They all act the same like the same
animal. The differences amongst them are going to
be
eradicated and obliterated. And,
look at the the the beautiful example of
saying that Ayub
That Allah took all of this from him,
and he still didn't you know, he still,
despite his sickness and,
the difficulty that he was going through, despite
the fact that parasites were eating his body,
every good that he had left him.
And parasites were eating his body. He still
had so much sugar to Allah

he didn't have the heart in him even
to kill the parasites or take the parasites
out of his body that were eating him

everything he lost and even more than that.
And that in that moment, when you take
the divine name, that that help is coming
down on you, that all of these things
are possible.
All of these things are possible.
And if a person doesn't feel that all
of these things are possible in that moment,
then this person,
then this person
needs to
sit with somebody from the and tell Iman
enters their heart
so that this zikr and this remembrance of
Allah can have its correct and proper effect.

Right now we're having panic attacks because,
you know, Costco doesn't have enough sanitizer or
whatever.
Allah,
Allah,
give us from the phase,
of, of his
and from the phase of may
protect us from tribulation any further.
And if we are to get it, that
he give us from the phase of, the
Sabireen,
the people of patients, and that he make
us better for it. And may he, just
like he gave us the contagion, also give
the fever into this ummah, that we now
start to speak up all of the haram
that we see in our masajid, the haram
haram that we see, the haram food and
drink, the haram music, and the haram
mixing, and the haram
states in the haram words,
the acceptance of those things that are odious
to the lord, the that we see of
treating people unfairly and improperly,
the,
our turning of the back,
backs of people to the the the the
which
is the of the
that this that he also give us the
fever inside of our bodies as individuals and
as an ummah
so that we can purge all of these
things from from our body and that we
can come back to the health that we
had from before. Allah,
accept, our duas,
in the Mubarak moment of, of concentration
and turning toward him, and make all good
things possible for for us, because of that,
and shut the door to all evil for
us in this world and the hereafter.
