Sayed Muhammad sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam.
By Allah
and by his grace,
we have entered into his Mubarak house once
more
on the Mubarak hour of Jum'ah
on this 27th day of Shawwal.
Inshallah, starting
from
next Jum'ah, our Jum'ah will not only be
here inside the house of Allah Ta'ala, but
the holy and sacred month of
will have begun.
These are Mubarak days in which the reward
for good deeds is multiplied.
And it is something that should be lost
on nobody.
That the masjid,
that the jama'ah,
that the congregation,
that having and sharing this Mubarak hour together,
in this Mubarak house, on this Mubarak day
is a blessing that all of us
cannot take for granted
and have to show thanks to Allah ta'ala
for.
What does that mean?
The shukr of the nama, the shukr of
of any blessing
is executed by what?
By using that niyama and by using that
blessing in a way that Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala is
pleased with or at least in a way
that doesn't disobey Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
So if you're one of the ones who
was invited into this house of Allah ta'ala,
then go and tell
those who are unable to be here
that coronavirus
did not end Islam.
Lock down orders from governor Mike DeWine or
from the president Donald Trump or from the
WHO,
It didn't cancel
Islam. These are
the different circumstances Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala sends
down on His slave
to see who will do what when they
are put in what situation.
And I myself, I myself, I'm not speaking
on your behalf. I'm speaking on my own
behalf.
Staying at home, not going to the masjid
it's hard to get up and come back.
It's hard to take time off from your
work again.
It's hard to remotivate yourself to do these
things.
But not only am I grabbing the stick,
you know, I actually forgot the footba stick
is here, It's a sunnah to have a
stick in your hand. I'm not just waving
the stick over your head and saying, Okay.
Now Masjid is open, come or
I you know, I'm gonna beat you and
Allah ta'ala and His angels will beat you.
No.
What am I saying?
The Nabi salallahu alaihi wa sallam gave us
the institution of this masjid, and the institution
of this jum'ah and its Mubarak hour
as a great blessing.
That the sins that a person does from
1 Jum'ah to another because they show their
face in this Mubarak house, in this Mubarak
hour, Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala forgives
them. Because they show their their their face
in this Mubarik house, in this Mubarik hour,
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala writes in the place
of sins, good deeds.
Because of showing your face in this Mubarik
place, in this Mubarik hour, at least metaphorically,
we all have masks on.
At least metaphorically, you show your face in
this place.
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala writes for you an
increase in your risk
in this world and in the hereafter.
Because you show your face in this Mubarak
house and the Mubarak hour,
The angels, and the spirits, and yes, even
the hurayim
in jannah,
it makes them happy and they wait for
you. They say, This is
our hadeb, this is the one that we
love. We're waiting for him to come to
us forever and forever. In the nirmah and
the blessing of Allah
Who wouldn't wanna do
that? Who wouldn't be disappointed with losing such
a Mubarik appointment?
And more than the and the angels and
any of the the creation of Allah
The
appointment in this Mubarak hour is the meeting
of what? The meeting of the Lord, of
the
That when you say,
The one who prays is there
to speak intimately.
Like you're someone you love, you come close
to them and speak to them in their
ear. That this is the way this is
the time the prayer Allah legislated for you
to speak to your Lord.
For you to speak to your
So let a person prepare for it, let
them be thankful and remind others because it
will take a while to get people to
be cognizant of this obligation that it's there
again.
Even if we have to fill the parking
lot.
Even if we have to fill the parking
lot with people who are praying.
All of those people who came to this
masjid before the coronavirus, inshallah, they'll come again.
We will bring them and whoever you tell
to come and whoever you encourage to come,
you receive their reward. Even if you have
to fill the parking lot and have 23
ju'as,
they'll come. In fact, those who didn't come
from before, insha Allah, they'll come again.
And the more people who come to this
ju'a, not only the more reward you get
for bringing somebody, in
the dua, in the hutba, and after the
fatiha,
in the salat,
the more reward it is for everybody. Don't
you know New York City is such
a densely populated area?
Because of that, the prices of the of
the property skyrocket. Right? Just like that, your
salah.
The more of your brothers and sisters you
bring in, the more the value of your
salah will increase with the Lord.
But all of it begins with what?
Because people talk about, oh, you're so lip
service. This is talk, talk, talk. Talk is
important. It's not everything. You have to act
as well. But talk is important. Why? Because
talk is like a window of looking into
the heart.
We have to speak with one another and
we have to
look inside of our heart and say that
this jum'ah is not a chore that Allah
gave us. Rather it's a great gift, it's
a great blessing.
And this is no less of a victory
for us,
than the victory of those who were denied
the access to the house of Allah ta'ala
from different circumstances
before. Imagine the happiness
of of salahuddin Ayubi and his armies when
they rested the masterul Aqsa from the Crusaders
after 90 some odd years of occupation. The
first that they had. Imagine the happiness they
had. Why? Because it was a nirma. It
was a blessing taken away from them. I'm
not comparing ourselves to them, but it was
a blessing taken away from them. They didn't
fight because, you know, we're Palestinians and they're
Europeans. No.
What? This is the house of Allah.
And the Mubarak name of Allah Ta'ala, the
Mubarak zikr of Allah Ta'ala Salat was barred
from it.
And now this is an honor Allah gave
us that we get to re establish it.
That's why it was a happy day. And
even though fine, we don't compare our achievements
with them.
But we say this is also a happy
day for that reason. That
Masjid Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has once again
given us tawfiq, that tawfiq that we used
to take for granted. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
accepted from all of us. Allah
again in safety and happiness,
fill this masjid in safety inshallah. We don't
have to crowd everything out. If we have
the space, inshallah, we'll fill the entire city
apartment with people calling the name of Allah
Ta'ala.
But Allah Ta'ala give it to us again.
