Hamzah Wald Maqbul – Friday Khutbah on Eid If They Only Knew ICC07312020

All praises to Allah, and may his peace

and blessings be upon his servant and messenger,

Sayna Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam.

May the peace and blessings of Allah subhanahu

wa ta'ala be upon him and upon his

noble companions and upon his pure wives and

upon his Mubadah and blessed family and progeny

and upon all of those who follow all

of their way until the day of judgment.

Brothers and sisters,

there is no need for a long

wav and exhortation on this day. Allah, subhanahu

wa ta'ala, has blessed us with the company

of one another

That we came not once

to the masjid for khutba and for salat

but twice.

This is indeed a blessed day. It is

the coincidence

of 2 of the eeds of the Muslims,

the greatest eed, the eed and

the, 3rd eed of this ummah which is.

Jumu'a. It is a great day and it

is a blessed day.

If

you were to ask

why is your god so demanding that even

on your holidays you have to come to

the masjid

a 6th

time?

What we would respond

to such a person

with is if you knew what Allah was

going to give us, you would want to

come the 6th time too.

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala vouchsafe it for all

of us.

Go take your kids even if it's a

matter of buying

a popsicle for 69¢

for them. Whoever,

can't afford something more expensive,

afford something

small and something,

affordable for yourself, but make it a happy

day for them. Just like Allah orders us

to do things that are hard from time

to time. This is the time that he

orders us to do something that's easy, something

that's fun, something in which is great joy

and happiness.

And who is more worthy of punishment, the

person who doesn't want to do the thing

that's hard, or the person who obstinately refuses

to do that thing which is easy.

Brothers and sisters, go. May Allah reward

you and put barakah in the rest of

your day. Those who have not yet done

their

dispatch it online to one of the countries,

that need it,

desperately.

You have still time

because the is valid until sunset on the,

the the the 12th of the 10th, 11th,

12th. So for 3 days until on the

3rd day that is still valid, send the

money and dispatch it. It's not really a

huge amount of money. Brothers and sisters, one

more I wanted to mention,

which is what?

Which is that in these days, the ayamatashriq,

after every further prayer,

it is a rigorously

emphasized sunnah of the messenger of Allah salallahu

alaihi wa sallam to make the takbir, the

magnification of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala after every

prayer.

So remember and do not forget.

In a time of pandemic,

in a time of suffering,

in a time of fear, in a time

of disease and loss, deprivation.

People are deprived of their health and of

their lives. People are deprived of the risk.

People are deprived of their comfort. People have

anxiety about the future. And this, the ummah

of the Prophet

from the time of Rasulullah salallahu alaihi wa

sallam and his companions, all the way until

this day. The people who carried the zam

of the Prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam, the

worry and the concern of the Prophet salallahu

alaihi wa sallam inside their hearts. Their worry

and concern was what? That I should do

something and my rabbi should be happy with

me when I meet him on that day.

And inside of this dunya, inside of this

life, inside of this world, I should establish

me

establishment of salat, the ikamah of the dhikr

of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.

That we should establish our faces in every

place of prayer.

This is a great success, this is a

great tawfiq Allah has given us on this

day. Everybody,

thank Allah ta'ala for it, make shukr to

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala for it. May Allah

ta'ala make this blessing.

May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala make this blessing

last forever. May it be standing until the

day of judgment and may never break again

from us ever again. Not on a not

on a not on any day as long

as the, the earth still turns and as

long as the sun is rising from the

east. Allah ta'ala give all of us so

so much tafik, and I again congratulate all

of you, in making your faces shown on

this day. May Allah ta'ala make it a

reason for the forgiveness of all of your

sins. May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala make it

a reason for your eternal happiness, for your

sa'adah abadiya.

May Allah ta'ala make it something that you're

proud of forever and ever. And those who

are not able to join with you, Allah,

forgive them and give them all of these

things as well. But may Allah make it

a reason for them to look at you

and wish that they had the blessing that

you have. Truly, it's a great blessing. Allah

gives people money. Allah give people youth, strength,

good looks. Allah gives people jobs and degrees.

Whether he loves them or not, he gives

to everybody and we have no idea why.

But he doesn't give people this except for

it's a sign that he loves them. Allah

subhanahu wa ta'ala make us from amongst those

that that he loves.
