So, let's suffices Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa Salatu was Salam ala Rasulillah. Warburg. Let me just set my timer for myself, since I ended up emceeing and doing administration as well.
We are here to discuss the issue of what is happening to the Palestinian people in Gaza right now. The situation is dire, the situation is very bad. And to make matters worse, we live in America. And what's happening in America is what we're seeing constantly every single day is we're seeing schools, universities, workplaces, billboards, signs, YouTube advertisements, that are basically saying one thing and one thing only Israel has the right to defend itself, support Israel, go and get raise funds so that we can give it to the military so that they can go and they can go and bomb and attack the people of Gaza. This is the sad reality. Oh, yeah, sorry. I think this is the sad
reality
of what we're witnessing.
I don't see the second one. Just one. Okay. So this is the sad reality of what is happening today.
But what's really important is to understand that there are three aspects of why the situation is so important and why it's so dear to the hearts of Muslims everywhere.
Reason, number one, this is a matter of justice and injustice. This is a matter of oppression. When a group of people are being oppressed When innocent people are being killed. And people are not even understanding who's being killed. Why are they being killed and there is no value for even their lives for their blood, no one seems to care. Many people don't seem to care, they can't even make one statement. Even the president cannot make one statement in support of the innocent people that are losing their lives and are about to be killed. We have an issue of unjust oppression. And injustice should concern each and every single Muslim and each every single person in the world. The
second reason why it matters is because
the majority of these people, almost all of them that are being killed are our Muslim brothers and sisters. And of course, every one's life Muslim or non Muslim is equal in terms of the prohibition of killing them, there is no doubt about that. The lives in the sight of Allah subhanaw taala is equal.
But there's an extra concern and care that a Muslim has for another Muslim, there's an extra responsibility that a Muslim has for another Muslim. And the third reason why this is so important, is because where this is happening right outside of Jerusalem, which is the third holiest place for Muslims in the world. First is Maccha. The second is Medina and the third is Jerusalem because Masjid Al Aqsa that's there. And this is all connected with what is happening in Gaza. What is happening to the Palestinian people, and what is hap
pending over there. So we're going to have three components to this program. The first component is the history, the intellectual and historical understanding of what is going on, because a lot of people don't understand what really has happened throughout history. And it's very hard for them to contextualise and say, yes, people are being killed. But what exactly is going on? Why is that, you know, if some rockets are fired, but then there's people dying on both sides is this, this is really bad. But when you zoom the camera out, and you look at the whole story of what, who's, who has the, who has the military mind? Who has the land? Who has the power? What is the hustle? Why are the
people there? Why don't they have the ability to fight back? Why does one side have airplanes and tanks, and the other side doesn't have any of that stuff? What is going on? It is very important to understand that history. So the first segment is going to be the history of Palestine. So that at least a summarized version, because Jehovah told me not to go all super academic on everybody. It's what I love to do myself, but I'm going to try and keep it fairly simple. And then the second part is going to be spiritual. We're going to talk about how should we as Muslims process this? How are we supposed to understand this? Not only what can we do? What are we supposed to think? What are we
supposed to feel? Do we just feel sadness? Do we feel rage? To feel anger? What do we do with that? How do we get closer to Allah subhanaw taala? What are the lessons that we are supposed to learn? And then the third segment is going to be the political activist segment. And that is going to be brother whose son who is on his way right now from another event. And he's going to talk about what can we actually do? What can we you and I actually do on the ground today in our own circle of influence, to actually help the situation help the Palestinian people help the cause help establish and promote justice. So let's start with segment number one. I've already taken five minutes. So
history of Palestine, Palestine, let's go back, we're in the year, what's the year this year?
2023. Thank you. So if we go back over 100 years, what we're going to see is that Palestinians have been living in this region, or we call Palestine in Israel in this region for centuries prior to that. And in this region, what has happened was if you go back, these Palestinians are known as people who speak Arabic. They are people who have developed their own dialect of Arabic, they have their own independent culture. And people would call them Arabs, just because they were speaking Arabic, but they had a very distinct
ethnicity, a very distinct personality. And they had been living in this land for centuries, going back to over 100 years, to the late 1800s, the Ottoman Empire, if you know a little bit about history, the Ottoman Empire controlled this region known as Palestine. And in 1897, this is when things began to change. There was a man by the name of Theodore Hertzel, he started a movement called the Zionist movement. And the Zionist movement in 1897, was an idea that says we need to make a Jewish state. We need to make a place where Jews from around the world can come and they can live there. And one of the reasons why he wanted to do this is because Jews were being oppressed in
Europe, Jews were being oppressed in Russia. Not at all, not really in the Ottoman Empire, not in the Muslim lands. These are in the Christian lands in the western lands. Jews, there was a high level of what we what they call today, anti semitism, which technically you know, Arabs are Semites. So anti everything, basically anti Judaism, anti Jewishness, so they were attacking them, they were harassing them, and they said, we need to establish our own homeland. So the first idea was, let's pick Uganda, as a country for all Jews can move there and establish their Jewish state. And then they said that's not going to work. So they said, let's look into Argentina. After Argentina, they
said, You know what, let's go with the third option. And the third option was, let's pick Palestine as the place where we're going to establish our Jewish state, and we want our own land, our own state, our own people, because they're being harassed and there's suffering in different parts of the world, primarily in Europe and in Russia, by the Christians
simultaneously, around the same time, there is a move
movement by the Arabs, different Arabs in different countries that they were thinking, You know what? This Ottoman Empire, we're not sure if we want to stay with these guys anymore, we would like to go ahead and split from the Ottoman Empire. And we would like to go and take over this land and claim Palestine for ourselves and make a greater Arab state. At the same time, you have a third party that is interested in Palestine. And that is the British and the British Empire was a very powerful empire that controlled, you know, taken over and colonize many different countries in the world. So what happens? we fast forward a little bit 1916? Okay, this is after World War One,
the Arabs and the British decided we're going to team up. And we're going to take Palestine from the Ottoman Empire for ourselves. And what's going to happen is the British, why are they interested in Palestine, because if you look on a map, unfortunately, I lost my laptop, I forgot it somewhere. So I don't have the slide with me anymore. But if you look on a map, if you know a little bit about geography, you have the United Kingdom or you have Britain over here. And then you have Palestine over here. And then you have India over here, which Britain was controlling. So they wanted to have a trade route that is going through to make it all the way through India. So it's very important for
them economically and politically, to occupy this region and to dominate it. So they said, you know, what, what's the best thing that we can do instead of just controlling in ourselves, let's make a deal will support if the Arabs
revolt against the Ottoman Empire, we will say we're supporting you will revolt together, we'll get to Palestine out of the Ottoman Empires hands and we will give you Palestine and you give a special economic privileges of passage and you know, all sorts of things for our own political benefit, and they made an agreement in 1961 year later 1917 The British the Arabs fought against the Ottoman Empire 1917 One year later, the air the British decide to betray the Arabs, after they actually supported them. And they issued a declaration called the Balfour Declaration. And the Balfour Declaration basically said, we are giving the Zionist movement, a Jewish homeland in Palestine.
Sorry, Arabs, we really thank you for what you did. But we're gonna go ahead and we're gonna give this land to the Jews instead. And what's interesting is,
if they gave it to the Arabs, the Palestinian people live there, the Zionist movement, the Jews don't actually live there yet. So he said, We're gonna give this for a future Jewish state of Jews who don't even live in the land right now. But we're gonna go ahead and let you have it anyways, there's going to be Palestinians can remain there, but they're going to be non Jewish communities and they don't get political rights. They'll have some other things they can do, but they will not have any political participation. In 1922, the British Empire occupies Palestine after the World War is concluded. And now the British are in control of Palestine. So just look at some of the numbers
here 1922, when the British occupied Palestine, there are 83,000 Jews
in 1931, about 10 years later, there's 174,000 Jews, so they start moving in, but how many Muslim and Christian Palestinians are there? 851,000. So the overwhelming majority of this entire region? Are Palestinians, Arabs out there Muslims, as well as Christians amongst them as well. So then, what are you supposed to do? What is the mandate? The mandate is, will the Palestinians, they just need to move away? They need to make way for the Jews who are moving towards this land. So what happens is there's the Nazi movement that begins in Germany, and almost everybody knows about Hitler and the Nazi movement. It's part of standard curriculum, and what are they doing? They're persecuting,
persecuting the Jews and the Holocaust is taking place. And the oppressed Jews start to move on mass from Europe, into this land of Palestine. And then the Jewish settlers start taking over Palestinian land where Palestinians are actually living there. So from 1936 to 1939. The Arabs decided this is not fair. This is our land. We've lived here for centuries. These are our for our homes, our villages, all of these things. So they said, You know what, we're not going to take this we need to revolt. So they started by protesting, and they started by saying we're not going to pay taxes to the British anymore because the British are still controlling this area, but they're
are giving all the rights for the Zionist movement to move in and make their own Jewish land.
The British crushed this revolt by sending 30,000 British soldiers to go and attack and destroy so they started air bombing villages, I want you to understand what's happening right now is not new. The British in 1939 are taking the aeroplanes and they're bombing Palestinian villages. They're demolishing Palestinian homes. And they say you guys need to be quiet. And you need to live under our * and under our rule, the British and just think about 30,000 troops at that time. By the way, this is more than all the soldiers the British had in the entire region of India, and India's huge, more troops over there to crush this rebellion. Then they had then they had even in
India. So the British are doing this.
And then the British realize, they said, We can't constantly do this. If you look at the British Empire, this tiny little country, and they've colonized all these other countries. So you know, they're clever people, not always for good motives, but they have organization and all that. So what did they do? They said, Let's train these Zionist militias, so that they can go and fight on our behalf and for their own behalf. And they can start keeping these Palestinians from rebelling against British rule. This is what happens until 1939 1947 comes Britain, we got World War Two breaking out, Britain now is struggling to keep control of Palestine, they're struggling to keep
control of all of the territories because colonialism is coming to an end. In 1947, the Jews are 33%, of the population of Palestine, because they've been moving, and they've been moving. And they've been getting out from Germany in the beginning, not from all these other places. So they've been moving in the area, now they're up to 33% of the population. And they own 6% of the land of Palestine.
The British say, we can't deal with this anymore. We're just gonna go ahead and there's a problem going on here, we're gonna go ahead and just hand this over to this new body that just was created after World War Two, called the United Nations. And so the United Nations, you guys figure out what to do with the situation. We don't want to deal with it anymore. So they give it to them. And so you solve this problem. The United Nations makes a decision. And they say our solution is we're going to partition this land of Palestine into two places. Two states, there's going to be one state is a Jewish state. One state is an Arab state for Palestinians, and Jerusalem. Because it's such a
special land that Muslims consider to be holy Christians considered to be holy. Jews considered to be holy, say, we're going to make this country this region of Jerusalem, it will be controlled by the United Nations. Now, here's the problem. The problem with this idea is they make a decision of what's going to happen. Palestinians Still, despite all of the immigration, people coming in the Jews moving into this land, they are double the population of the Jews. But the United Nations says the Jews will get half of the land, not only will they get half of the land, they get some of the best land, meaning the most fertile land where all the crops grow and everything like that, and all
land is not the same. Right, and you go buy some land in Palmdale. It's very different than buying land in Irvine. You can see the difference. So you can't say like, oh, half the land half. It's not just half. It's like, you're getting this stuff. You're getting Palmdale, and we're getting Irvine. Very, very different. So and the Palestinian said, This is not fair. This is unjust. We've been living on this land, and you're just gonna just basically hand everything over. And we're losing everything. One year later 1948, the Zionist militias that had been trained and armed by the British, they're well trained by now. And they started a program called Plan D plan Dalit. And you
can go and read about this in history. And what their plan was, they said, We're going to go and we're going to destroy the Palestinian villages that are outside of the Jewish state borders that the United Nations handed to them. So we're gonna go outside in the Palestinian, the Arab state that they gave, and we're gonna go and start destroying those villages one by one. And they started with one of the worst massacres that happened was Darius in the area scene. They went in there, and they massacred every single person. And they took pictures. And what they did was they lined up the women, the children, they stripped them naked, and they massacred and then they photographed them.
And then they killed them.
And why did they
do that, why would you photograph something like this what what in the world is going on? They took these pictures. And they went around to the other villages and said, If you don't want the same thing to happen that happened in this village, all of you get out, you get out or this is going to happen to you. Now, today, we know a lot about American history because documents get declassified after 20 years, 40 years, 50 years.
The documentation from this massacre is still unclassified. It's not being revealed by Israeli army or Israeli military Israeli intelligence. So the United Nations report this is these are the things that were happening. So they said, either get out or the same thing is going to happen to you. This started what's called the Nakba, the Nakba, is known as the catastrophe, it's a calamity where what happens is, you have hundreds of villages that are being destroyed by these paramilitary forces, you have 200,000 Palestinians that are forced to flee their homes, forced to flee their villages. And they started going into all the neighboring countries into Egypt, and into Jordan, and Syria, and
all of these different places.
1948. One more year afterwards, the British decide, you know, what, we are officially leaving Palestine, we don't want to be the Palestine anymore.
And as soon as they did that, the State of Israel was declared by the Zionist movement. And they said, we are now a state. And we're declaring ourselves as being a state of Israel, they were recognized by the British, they're recognized by the United States. And what ends up happening is that the neighboring Arab countries, they declared war. And they said, You know what, this is unjust, we have all these Palestinians that are coming in there, were going to fight. Long story short, they lost the war. And when they lost the war, more Palestinians were forced to leave all of their lands that they've been living on for centuries. When a war ends. Normally, when the war is
over, you're allowed to come back to your home, the Palestinians are not allowed to come back to their home. And what they did was the villages that they destroyed, they took the names of those villages, and they changed the names from Arab names to Hebrew names. Then they took plant, they took trees, and they started planting trees, so that this entire region becomes a forest. So nobody even remembers that there used to be a village in this area, to hide up and cover up so that nobody ever thinks of ever trying to come back to this entire area. So this is what was happening. And this is what's known as a nutbar of the catastrophe. You have 15,000 Palestinians were killed, 6000
Israelis were killed.
And 750,000 Palestinians were expelled from their lands, over 500 villages were destroyed. The United Nations plan gave Israel 56% of the land.
But Israel captured more land and actually ended up getting 78%. By the end of this time. What remains for the Palestinians is the West Bank. And Gaza, the Gaza Strip. And that is exactly the history we're talking about. Right now. We have 6 million Palestinians that are displaced. They are living in basically open air prison type of concentration camps, Gaza, and the West Bank is in that region. So this is why this is a little bit of history. That this is why when Israelis are celebrating Independence Day, and saying this was the day in which Israel began, what are Palestinians doing? They're mourning the Nakba, the great catastrophe where their villages were
bombed, they were forced out of their land. And they say this is the start of what happened in 1947 1948. This history needs to be kept in mind whenever we're reading anything about the news that is taking place. So for those of you who know a little bit so for those who didn't know anything, now, at least you know what Palestine is, you know who Palestinians are, you know a little bit about the Balfour Declaration, you know about the Zionist these are some terms you should know, you know about the Zionist movement, you know about why Palestinians are living in Gaza and the West Bank, and this should help you contextualize things now. We're going to move Inshallah, to Scheffer. haIf
it will take questions at the end to take questions. So we'll move on to shaker Haifa and then we'll have brother who has some here given the political aspect of what we should be doing inshallah Shanghai.

I'm going to start by asking question, my talk will be completely different than what you heard. And I'm going to need your hearts before your brain. And I'm not trying to move or make emotions here. I need all of us to ask ourself two, three questions. And this myself number one, everybody.
Why is Allah allowing this to happen?
What does he want from me?
And what should I do? I'm not talking about politics. I'm not talking about tomorrow's March hamdulillah brother Hassan will cover it way better than I am. I'm talking about us individual Muslim, wherever you live, and definitely we live in a place half of the world wants to live in it. In case you don't know.
Do Are we all and I have no doubt everybody will say yes, we believe ALLAH is Al Hakim, Allah is wise.
Do we believe ALLAH is Allah alim. Allah knows.
And Allah has Semia he hears and Allahu Bussiere he sees. So what I and you are seeing on the internet on the TV doesn't matter what channel it doesn't matter what is happening there. He's seeing it.
I want you all to remember this. And he's a rock man or hang
all merciful, owner of mercy. So why is he allowing it?
The first answer is, I don't know.
La Veta O Allah, Allah, Allah. I do not say things about Allah. And this will take us back to history. That's when you need your Sera.
Why did Allah subhanaw taala allowed the Muslims to lose in our herd?
Why did Allah subhanho wa Taala gave them was made the Muslims suffer for 13 years. And this is his rasool Allah, His salatu salam, the most beloved human being Allah created to Allah. Why Fatima? QCCA was way later on?
Why did they sign the Treaty of Alaska of the
who they be?
The answer is, we don't know. Up till today.
So that's number one. Number two
is what the Palestinians, and especially the people in Gaza, when they are going through and you all know, and I don't have to explain the the Roswaal is the last word Sam went through it.
Yes or no?
Did he on the night of budder. You need to remember history. Because what we all need to know is I need to stay strong. As a Muslim, I'm not talking about politics. I'm talking about the individual. Because what is happening to us, some of us and I heard that this morning from someone I know we are starting to lose hope. And we should never do that. I don't know if I will see Palestine back when I am alive. But I know it will be. And this is what we all need to know. When by the hikma of Allah subhanaw taala by the timing of Allah. So on budder the night of budder look at the numbers. It's 300 Plus, they say 12 1314 Muslims, it's
more than 1000. Now look at the percentage three times what did they have few horses and 70 camels 700 camels they had and 1000s of horses the night of it. And you have a rasool Allah salatu salam, and he made his dua to Allah. And this is something we all have to do.
And he said Allahumma and his Whadda
ya allah fulfill your promise. And then he turned to him and says your Allah, if you're not gonna give victory to this group, who will worship you on this land on this earth.
And you know the history go forward, fast forward a few years later, and you have Zab that trench, same story. Now even worse, this is even way more relevant for today. Because it was not only a Quraysh it was everybody around them. They did the famous trench and now everybody is coming to them and they are
it's
siege behind them is Medina.
In Medina, the Jews in Medina they absolutely negated the agreement with the Roswaal he sought to Sudan and now they are all in one place. That's what the Rosa is now.
What did they do?
And Allah didn't give them victory day one or day two, how long they stayed in the trench.
One month they came to him Allah He saw it was cell so the auto Salah were hungry. It's exactly what you are seeing. He said we are hungry, and they showed him their belly and they were literally tying around their belly rocks. What did he do? Alayhi Salatu Sera. He lifts up his shirt. And he had two stones, two rocks
because then when a lot planted and wanted it and how did they win?
How did they win? There was no war in this one. Allah send the wind
now you're gonna tell me and I can see what I am not also Arisa to sit down and I am not the Sahaba right.
But we can be
if you want to be the real one word Allahu La Nina Amman minquan wa mural Solly Hertie Lee Esterly fun the whole Phil autumn can Mustapha Lavina and probably him. What are you McKinnon Well, you have a Dylan No hombre the whole thing him and well you McKinnon Nila whom? Dino hula de todo la Whom were you with? Dn no human body Hafi him Amna. Yeah, buena Nila should only be Shia. Listen to this verse. This is from the Quran you all read. Allah gave promise to the believers. He didn't give it to the Muslims. He gave it to the believers mink on the special believer from you, and they do good deeds is not words.
Three things
you will have the victory on this earth. That's not my words. That's when will the Quran go and read it one. And then he will make Islam uma Kenan Allah hum Dena Hama, he's gonna make Islam strong. He didn't say one. He didn't give us time. And then he will replace their fear with safety and peace.
Now the question, what do I need to do?
Now is going to be little bit painful to everybody because we're going to talk about reality.
Allah said the following.

No. And I don't want to take too much of the time. But I'm going to end up with a hadith of Rasul Allah salatu salam, some of you may know it, and he predicted this.
This is actually one of his miracles. Ali Salatu was Salam he predicted the future. And this is Hadith actually, in Abu Dawood, narrated by Taliban and the meaning of an Al Satan arabinose translate

He said Asaba como Luan, you became weak. One is when the person human being gets older age, everything is weak. And then he explained it is not about age.

Salam aleikum Rocktober caltric Smilla hamdu Lillahi wa Salatu was Salam ala Rasulillah who Allah alayhi wa Sahbihi women wala
What a pleasure seeing mashallah, all the people who love Allah subhanaw taala and His messenger and loves the people of Allah subhanaw taala and love the people of the land of Salah and Mirage, the land of the prophets, the land of measured Lhasa just came and I apologize for being a little bit late, there was another event happening at the same time the Islamic side of Orange County and mashallah the measured had similar crowds mashallah and I know there was another one happening in Yorba Linda and another one happening in
Corona mashallah Anna my city and another one in Fontana Mashallah.
And this shows Al Hamdulillah there's a blessing from Allah subhanaw taala that Allah plays the hearts of the Ummah
and with Palestine with our philosophy with the people of Palestine, may Allah keep them steadfast
what I wanted to add what we heard, mashallah actually give us the foundation that will allow us to be steadfast because we're part of this battle, everybody is on the phone, everybody is powered on, in this endless battle of Hulk Vs. Battle versus falsehood. They battle for liberation, the battle for human dignity, the battle against bigotry and apartheid. And everybody has a rule, and we can continue to roll unless we know the history because otherwise they miss inform us. They keep us confused. And we can't sustain a battle without having a right connection and right purpose. Allah subhanaw taala. So hamdulillah I'm so happy that I get to say a few words, after that foundation.
I mentioned today in the Hotbox. Really in Yorba Linda, I said, if anybody watches the news and doesn't know about the history of Palestine, if you're an average Joe, as they say, in America and your will, just the last six days, what you've been hearing, especially starting Saturday, you will think that region Palestine, Gaza, Israel, is like some resort Hawaii resort. You know, everybody lives in peace and harmony, and Israel is doing charitable work for the Palestinians, feeding them building parks, maybe amusement parks, and then suddenly out of nowhere, this lacking of gratitude Palestinians unprovoked because that's the major that's the buzzword unprovoked, decided to go and
attack Israel. And then every hypocritical politician starting from our shameful spineless President, to the members of Congress, to the assembly members to our orange county supervisors, like parrots parroted designers narrative. We stand with Israel, poor Israel, and unprovoked attack by these Palestinians. And let's make it clear, no Muslim, non Muslim, rejoice the death of an innocent person. Nobody celebrates the death. If there were children or women or innocent people who have nothing to do with anything, we will never rejoice. We're not like them. We don't do that. I don't know the details of what happened. But that's clear. But the reality is when every one of
these elected officials comments, and talks about unprovoked and HIPAA and Israeli, innocent people dying, while forgetting that actually the truth is what has been happening in Palestine was not something that started on Sunday, October 7. It is something that has been going on
On that started 75 years shift Mustafa was talking about 7475 years, the Palestinian people had to endure
death, murder, apartheid, occupation dispossession, that loss of their land, the loss of their cities, the loss of the dignity, the human humiliation at the checkpoint. Humiliating the husband in front of the his wife and his wife, his children, humiliating the wife in front of her husband humiliating the children, killing men woman taking hostages, you know, they're talking about hostages. 1000s of Palestinians are held in Israeli detention centers, torture centers with no charges. The school administrative detention meaning they can hold you and renew it six months to six months keep renewing it could go on for years without ever charging you This is hostage that
suddenly they're complaining about Palestine? I asked one of one friend of mine, at least maybe used to be a friend said it's your own wife or your own son was taken away from you from the from your home in the middle of the night. And six months after six months, kept in prison and under torture. And you don't There is no way for you to get them out. What would you do? Said I will go crazy. I will go and kidnap somebody to replace them. It's not something I condone. But when you're in that position, when you place Palestinians in the largest open prison in the world open air prison. It's actually a concentration camp now. extermination camp, the most densely populated place on earth 2.3
million people in that place. And you impose a siege for the last 17 years. Take away their humanity, food, drink, air, access to sea travel transport, you can do any of that. And when I mentioned that I always make I know some people not like what I say, but I'm gonna say it because that has two countries that surrounded Israel runs on the north. And who's in the war in the south Egypt. And Egypt has been more guilty with the siege than Israel, by the way, as as criminal as this apartheid regime is the truth is the Knesset of Israel one time had to vote asking Egypt to ease the siege said, You know what? We want to choke the pasties. We don't want to starve them. Please allow
some trucks to go. And that is the sad thing. The problem is the Palestinians are not only dealing with the apartheid regime, but a lot of the agents of the apartheid regime. This meeting cannot be held in any Arab country, maybe except one or two.
You know, in most of the Arab countries posting in support of Palestine will get you in trouble. And some countries will get to the portal. If you're not Emirati, oh, I don't wanna mention the name of the country.
The Imam of the Haram The Imam of the Haram and maca gave the football club but the drama today what Allah I felt bad for him. I was listening. He was making dua he didn't know what to say. He's like, almost like navigating through a landmine field. May Allah help our brothers and Palestine as if they had an earthquake. He couldn't even mention the word Zionist or Israel one time. May Allah protect our brothers, as if some flood or some earthquake had hit them. Poor guy, I don't blame him because he knows if he mentions the word, what will happen to him. So we need to know what's going on. So we are as Muslims knowing that we have an Amana to deal with. Why is that? We live in a place
that has the most chance to help our brothers and sisters. The one who can help the brothers sisters in Palestine are the people of Palestine and they've been doing a good job. You know, then in the Arab world, there's a saying that says, When I grew up, I used to think the Arab world is free and Palestine or hustlers under occupation. When I grew up, I realized the entire Arab world is occupied and only three because truly the only one was freedom is not just about land, it's about your dignity. It's about freedom about when you have so you know the difference between us as an as an Ursa is one dot, the land of ESA is as Wallahi the one that brings us honor, every time we feel down
as an ummah, one people that gives us that hope, and bring us up alive as people who may Allah bless them. Allah chose them for something others couldn't have handled it. Allah chose them for that hamdulillah to Allah we know that we learned from them. So we are have an honor to help them. We have the honor a privilege from Allah subhanaw taala to be in a place today in America, where we can make a difference. How's that? We need to address the myth of the lies. Do you know how much and who funds much of Islamophobia in this country?
85% of the funding of Islamophobia comes from Zionist organizations. The Robert Spencer the Pamela Geller, the Daniel Pipes, and the list goes on the Dershowitz and the Horowitz. And you name them. 85% and Dr. Hadden bizarre things probably even closer to 90%. Why is that? Because they want to demonize the Palestinians by making sure that the people who might speak up about
Have the person cause and their plight in America and make a difference are busy, distracted? We're defending ourselves oh, we're not terrorists we're not the reason they defame our profit is from the Quran Islam is so keep us busy. So we wouldn't be able to tell the truth about the crimes, the war crimes they're committing as we speak in front of everybody in the world. But our elected officials are shamefully immoral and lacking supine, couldn't even mention the Palestinian lives that are being killed. Some of them are cheering for Israel to go and commit a genocide as we speak now. Israel is asking 1.2 million people to evacuate that house. It's almost like it's like asking the
fish in a tank move away. Move away. We're gonna be shooting here. Why would they move? You don't even know. Today Israel is
Israel announced cutting off of water, fuel, gas medicine.
Everything.
Hospitals gonna run without our fuel today. Babies basically children, babies and incubators will not will not have
oxygen because of an Israel said, Well, that's not our problem. We blame Hamas for that. No. Nobody, Nobody forced you to kill children. 500 children have been killed in the last six days. And our wimpy, immoral elected officials couldn't even say a word. They've been quiet. If you want to talk about a human life, we were good. We're good with that. It's noble. But when you're silent for years and decades, as Israel is killing, murdering, humiliating, harassing, abusing, occupying the power scenes for the last seven years and you couldn't even say a word. Now you remember your humanity. I'm sorry, you luck? You lack credibility. You're hypocrites. And your hypocrisy stinks. And that is
important for us to expose now. hamdulillah why? Why do these things happen? As Sheikh if I said, Allah knows best. But we can guess the best thing is it expose the hypocrisy of Muslim leaders or so called Muslim middle fellow leaders in America, political leaders in America Hamdulillah. It exposes it, it allows us to know who are the ones in our backstabbing us when we didn't know.
There are many other benefits that Allah puts us in these things. It's a test for us. It's a test who response right? Has it been NASA UTRA call your call Rahman Rahim. Allah says I'm gonna test you. We are as they are being tested hamdulillah for everything there that one's in sha Allah, may Allah accept the my Shahada as martyrs, but we're alive, we're going to be asked about what did you do to help and uplift our brothers and sisters and be their voice? So very quickly, I will give you a few things that we can all do very simply, one, be informed, attend these teachings read there is no shortage of materials from trusted sources that will give you the history, the importance of
Palestine and philosophy. For us as Muslims, there is an Islamic aspect, how many Sahabas were there, they saw Raj before that and so on and so forth, but also about the history of the modern the history of Zionism. What it stands for, it is one of the wars, modern day ideology that we're dealing with today. Imagine this supremacist ideology that allows itself to dehumanize people to commit a genocide against them slow one going on. So no good to know. So we can be ready to involve Next, be engaged. What we learned today is as many activism was done, hamdulillah we've gone through, we need to rush the vote and we vote that's good. But that's not where the difference make
is made. The difference is made when we engage. How many of us how many of us here have engaged in supporting candidates, city council members, state assembly members, members of Congress, how many of you know a member of Congress, where if they're going to write a statement, they're going to call you? How many of you know school board members,
teachers, principals, et cetera? hamdulillah enough of us but not enough to make that difference? What we've learned is, designers have that connection. And they were forcing they were sending every they had a template, I will show you the templates coming from the various Jewish Federation from ADL. It's a template of what they asked him to say, this led to the letter and say, you should use this word. Don't use this word. Don't try to talk about the conflict. Don't talk about Israel, use the word of terrorism. Use the word of this use the word. They tell them exactly. They write the statement, and they push it for them and they pressure them to do those who have Muslim friends.
were smart enough to say wait a minute, that doesn't sound right. So they call their Muslim friends and hamdulillah the statements get a little bit balanced, but the majority didn't have didn't have one who's close enough. And some will have a spine didn't even if they had they're not willing to what they realize is the Muslim community is not that engaged. We're going to change that in sha Allah so we prevent the next
tragedy from happening. Be engaged run for
Office volunteer donate, find out who are the city council members because they are going to become assembly members and they're going to become state sub state senators and members of Congress. And this is I know it sounds like vague but this is how we were going to do it be on the list of care the email list on a MP American Mr. Palestine. Get active with one of the political parties. You like the Republicans, good for you. Be active with them. Democrats, good for you be active with them. Let them see your face. Let them hear your noise. And it's important for us next, inform others. How many of you are on social media? Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Tik Tok? Hopefully not.
Not a lot of you are on Tik Tok. I'm not on Tik Tok. So, not a good thing, right? But anyway, you're there. Let's make best use of it. Don't use it for anything that disputes Allah Santana use it for because what what the Israelis do is they hire people they actually hire people whose job is only first to cause fitna among Muslims, by the way they they do that they speak. They bring people different languages and on social media, they're fighting Yemenis versus Saudis and Sudan is Sudan is versus Egyptians and, and Pakistan is versus Indian Muslims. And they do that it's good to keep us all busy and Oh, hamdulillah mashallah, we're so easy. We fall for everything. We're naive. But
in sha Allah be smarter. They paid people to spread misinformation out there, about it is all about I mean, they're actually filling the space. They're choking the space with everything is about, you know, all the lies, decapitated babies, * of women. I mean, even our own president, our own president was repeating some such slides to this to the fact to the point that the spokesperson of the White House had to deny what the President's saying basically, informally, that means he's saying he's a liar. Like the guy said, Well, it's not very accurate. We don't know what he's saying, I don't know what it's getting that information is getting from Nataniel, the bigger liar than him.
So what is important as we spread the truth, make sure you verify the information, get on the list of the very, you know, the activist, the human rights organization, Jewish Voice for Peace, a MP care and spread that information because we have enough we have 5 million Muslims. In California we have 1 million Muslims. If most of us are active, we make we normalize solidarity with and for Palestine. Be loud. Be proud, as Shaka Haifa was saying, Be proud Muslim, show your fear, but also be wise. Like don't worry your coffee and walk in the middle of the dark alley at midnight by yourself. Right? Be smart, right? There are people who are crazy and they're fed a lot of
information. So in sha Allah, be aware, share good information, participate in key trends. Share with your friends and your classmates, especially us is where the activism is happening and Hamdulillah. The results are being seen on campuses across the country. It's shaking the ground under the Zionist and last but not least, use this opportunity to expose the Islamophobia because there are Islamophobes among elected officials who are using and exploiting what's happening there to push their anti Muslim agenda. You don't have to have three Orange County Board of Supervisors who made a statement that is one of the worst I've seen in recent times. When we thought we defeated
Islamophobia, get on the kill list, got the action alert, respond if you live in Orange County, and I think most of you do, let them know that we paid attention to what they said blaming Islam for the violence, barbarism, terrorism, as if Israel hasn't done anything as if Israel hasn't caused the whole thing, the root cause of this issue, and that is your bottom line when you talk to anybody, you root cause and I'll finish in 32nd When people talk about oh, do you condemn PLO? Do you condemn Hamas? Do you condemn say, Listen, everything you don't like, is a reaction to your ugly action. You don't like that ugly reaction and your uglier action? What is that ugly action, occupation and
apartheid? Were today if Hamas and PLO disappears, you know what? The occupation is not going to disappear? The abuse of Palestinians is not going to disappear. But I'll tell you something. If the occupation disappears, there wouldn't be a need. Not for PLO not for Fattah, not for Hamas, not for anything else. Palestinians will get to live their life like anybody, any other nation on Earth, take care of their families, their lives, their homes and everything else. Let's be proud. Let us not be intimidated by them. They're pushing they're saying on your on their social media. They're saying this is the time to intimidate Muslims. That's exactly what they're saying. This is the time
to push them back. We're going to tell them we're not afraid. We're on the side of Allah subhanaw taala in sha Allah, and therefore Allah and sha Allah will be on our side, we are on the side of truth. We're standing for something that is just that is honorable. So when that when we look at the history and say how did Muslims allow for the Nakba, to happen in 1948, we're going to say Muslims, prevented inshallah the second Nakba and Muslims actually stood and did not let down Palestine and the land of Throne Mirage and the
On the land of locks on May Allah give steadfast install brother and sister there, give them victory and defeat their oppressors and their occupiers result one lucky.
Hamdulillah. So a reminder as well, in addition to my brother who some said, one of the things we can do is also donate for the cause. So we have a QR code outside, if you scan that QR code, this is one of the ways to donate and icoi has vetted the organization that's going to be getting the aid to them. Inshallah, we're just about at the end of our program, I want to open it up just for a few questions.
The way we're going to do it, is the questions should be please be questions and not comments. And they should be about 10 seconds long maximum. Okay, we're ready.
Jabber Go ahead. 1010 seconds.
Okay, so good question actually Jabra? What's the origin of Hamas? And how did that come about? Unfortunately, we will not have time to get into the history of that. So it's gonna be way too long. And we're almost done. Any other questions that are quick? Yes.
The March as the march tomorrow is going to be in Wilshire in Los Angeles. It's going to be at 1230. And it's at the federal building.
Israeli embassy. It's at the Israeli embassy, Israeli consulate at 1230. Near wilsher in Los Angeles inshallah. Okay.
And there's another one in Barranca. And what's the cross street, Culver Culver in Barranca over here in Irvine as well? And Sharla? One question from the sisters. Go ahead.
Hello, I'm a senior in high school. And I'm wondering if someone asks you about Hamas? How should you answer? Okay, question for Husum. As I mentioned to you don't get dragged into the destruction? You're, you're in America? I don't know. Tell them I can't I mean, this was truth. We're in America, we can't tell who is who in the details. Our concern is, and that is very important, actually, for the youth. Our concern is the big picture. We want persons to be free, who they elect eventually to be the leaders. That's their choice. I'm not here, I'm not going to play America and impose on people what who the leaders are they choose? I'm concerned about ending the oppression of the
Palestinians. Name calling or saying this good. This bad is no good for me. I don't know. All I know, for a fact is that for a fact, Israel is behind is the root cause of this problem because of its occupation, because of everything we talked about. So shift away from that. And as a Muslim, you can say, as a Muslim, if you asked me specifically, is killing of innocent people allowed say No, I will not condone that. That's, and that's not a PR thing. That's truth. We don't do that. Now. The politics of propaganda is difficult, because honestly, I mean, we weren't we attacked, or we invaded Iraq, if you remember the first time, you know, based on false information, whether it's the nuclear
things or the incubators of Saddam Hussein's Iran, Kuwait, and so on. So for us, I don't want to be pulled into warfare propaganda. We focus on what we know, killing innocent people is wrong. That is what the Israelis do. And we don't want Palestinians to learn from the Israelis. hamdulillah Palestinians have been role models, and they have good teachers to follow Israel as the one shifted back on them. And very quickly, for those who are high schoolers and college, you have freedoms of speech at high schools and colleges, you don't have freedom of speech at the workplace. workplace is a is a private sector, you don't have that protected. So be careful how you engage with your boss, I
would say if you have a specific question, call the care lawyers and they'll give you an advice, because it depends on who is your boss, how many Muslims is there a global company or not, and so on and so forth. This is extremely important because we don't want people to lose their jobs. But on campuses, you are protected. But of course, again, use your wisdom. Don't say things you will regret. Don't say things that displease Allah subhanaw, taala, and more. Most importantly, I want to make sure everybody gets that because we are measured with our history. We know that the government agencies, whether it's in Israel, or here are very well known about sending agent provocateurs of
all the massage around America, this measure knows that very well. They send people to a massage, and they will look at people who are among mentally or spiritually or emotionally vulnerable, and try to incite them to do something wrong. They might say, Hey, let's go blow up this. Let's go and harass this. Let's vandalize the
As they they want for us to do that. Why? So they can say you see, Muslims are in a campaign of terror and all of that. So if you hear anything that is questionable, bring it back to the era to the administration of the masjid because we don't want to make sure yet Charla we don't have any information but it has happened before I want to make sure it doesn't happen again. You will have a million and a half legal means to advocate for Palestine we don't need anything that is illegal.
Shala that concludes our program two announcements and we'll conclude with the DUA inshallah. The first announcement is there's also a global village festival in Irvine, and there's going to be a booth on Palestine over there recommended to come and check that out as well to support global village festival somewhere in Irvine in sha Allah. Second announcement is that I was just told that the donations for HERSA are actually 100% of the donations will go directly with no overhead costs. So inshallah that means that even if you're going to be sending your Zika you can even give you a Zika out early for this cause as well Inshallah, let's conclude with Dr. Lahoma. Anta Salam wa Minca
Salam Devadatta Robina yours al Jalil, Willie Crum, O Allah, you are alcovy O Allah, you are Aziz, Oh Allah, you are the powerful Oh Allah you are the mighty, oh Allah you are in control of everything. or Allah you have the power and nobody else has power over you. Oh Allah grant victory to the oppressed, or Allah grant freedom and liberation to the people of Palestine. Oh Allah, help the plots of the oppressors turned back against them. Well, Allah help open the hearts and the minds of people to understand what is truly going on. All I open the hearts and the minds of people to understand what the true message of Islam is. All the help remove the propaganda and remove the
false narratives and the false fake news that is being spread around about this issue and about all other issues. Oh Allah help keep the people of Palestine, keep them strong. All that help keep us strong. Allah help us to not despair. Allah help us to not be among the people who fall into frustration, and then do not change ourselves for the better, or to help us to learn the lessons that we're supposed to learn from this, this situation and this test that you are putting us through all that help this test to be a means for us to get closer to you. All that helped this test to be a means for us to improve and increase in our prayers, or to help this test to be a means for us to
come more to the masjid while they helped us be a means to get out of the Haram that we are doing and make our lives into halal. Oh Allah help us and guide us at all times. While they help us to see the truth is truth and let us follow it. Well to help us to see the false is false and keep us away from it. I mean, was Subhana rahbek Robert, Isaiah DMARC Fong was salam ala l Mursaleen. Alhamdulillah. Europa, la la me. Yes. last recommendation from herself.
Because the brother asked me how can we get active, please get on the care go on online or go on Facebook, probably the easiest or Instagram, look for care la or care GLA? So you can get on the email lists, who can send you the action alerts the updates. The second thing is, in addition, as important as the 30 seconds, as important as it is to send relief, help. That's something every Muslim around the world can do. There's one thing nobody else can do, but American Muslims, and that is advocacy support organization and I don't want you to say oh, he's talking about just here. hamdulillah Cara is one of them. But we need to support a MP American Muslims for Palestine is
specialized on advocating for Palestine as you give for relief that is humanitarian ly needed, but also let's make sure that they have the tools to train the youth speak up and organize and produce material inshallah go online. It's a trusted organization. I have nothing to do with it other than I love what they're doing. hamdullah May Allah accept inshallah BarakAllahu
