Wa duʿā in la yusmaʿ.
Rabbana la tuziqulūbana ba'da izh hadaytana.
Wahab lana min ladunka rahma.
Innaka anta al-wahab.
Rabbi shrahli sadri wa yassalli amri.
Wahli al-raqlatan min lisani yafqahu qawli.
Al-ḥamdu liLlāhi wa-raḥmatu liLlāhi.
Allah brought us back again.
This is a ni'mah we always have to
be grateful to.
I keep reminding you, right?
So last week actually was up till about
12 o'clock.
I think I can make it.
But then, subhanAllah.
Next week, next Tuesday, there's a very important
program in Garden Grove.
There's two people coming from Gaza to do
that.
One of them is Mu'taza.
What is his first name?
Aziza, but what's his first name?
Mu'taza, okay.
Mu'taza Aziza was a very famous...
He's a journalist, and he used to document
Gaza before the war, but subhanAllah, during the
war.
So he's actually coming with the honorable.
But the other one who I really want
you to meet, of course, Mu'taza, because everybody
knows him online, but it's actually the physician
who is from Gaza, was evacuated to Egypt.
His family is still in Egypt.
I met him actually a couple of weeks
ago.
So I was still debating, but I think
Gaza deserves that we can postpone one night.
So next week will not be.
I would highly recommend you go and register
because I'm assuming it's going to be a
very busy program, and we all have to
go and show at least our support.
I mean, the least we can do.
And also when they see that people are
interested, it's very different when you see something
than when you hear about it.
So next week, inshallah, will not, and the
week after, if Allah give us life, we'll
go ahead.
We're going to, not today, we'll finish it.
We'll finish Surah Al-Kahf.
It was supposed to be next week, but
we'll do it the week after.
Inshallah, then afterward, I'm still debating which one
I want to do.
And I'm not going to ask you because
I'm going to get 50 opinion.
And then if I choose one, the 49
will be upset.
So I'm going to do istikhara.
I'm going to leave Allah, which is the
best one, to choose for us, inshallah.
So where are we in Surah Al-Kahf?
If you just, again, just a recap, that
it is a surah that was revealed in
Mecca.
It basically has four stories or five.
It depends if you also include the story
of Sayyidina Adam.
And a couple of the stories was as
a result of a question of Rasulallah, peace
be upon him, was asked.
It's actually the people of Quraysh in Mecca.
They asked actually the people of the book.
And they said, you know, this man is
coming and claiming all these things.
You are people of the book.
How do you know?
Is there a way we can know if
he is telling the truth?
So they advised them, the people of the
book, and they said, go and ask about
three things.
And if he knows the answer, he is
absolutely a prophet.
And then they gave him just a clue.
You know, when you want to see if
somebody knows, you don't give them all the
information.
So he said, number one, ask him about
that man who went throughout the earth.
That's it.
Second, ask him about those young people.
And the third thing is clear question.
And they said, ask him about the soul,
the ruh.
So they asked him, and Rasulallah, peace be
upon him, didn't answer because he doesn't have
information.
Number one question.
Number one point for everybody.
Please, I beg you, don't answer any question.
I think you've heard this from me almost
every week.
Because last night was the same thing happened.
Somebody told someone that if you do not
do dua in Arabic, the dua is not
going to be granted.
Where did this come from?
And I looked and I said, are you
telling me 90% of this earth, when
they ask Allah, it is not granted because
they don't know Arabic?
90%, a little bit less.
Enough Indonesia and Malaysia, they don't know Arabic.
And these are the biggest two Muslim countries.
Where did this come from?
And the man really believed it.
So two things for everybody.
Don't ask people who are like you.
Because many people are uncomfortable saying, I don't
know.
Look what the Rasulallah, peace be upon him,
says.
But many of us are uncomfortable because we
think it's weakness, what people will say about
you.
Or they ask me.
Or just say, you know what, let me
check.
There's nothing wrong with that.
You know what, nobody asked me before this.
I'm going to go and check.
Go and ask someone who knows.
And then give them the answer.
But you answer this way, and you're telling
them, Allah is, you're actually, of course, if
this person knew deeper, will never say this.
Because you are negating a verse in the
Quran.
Allah said, call me, I will answer you.
He didn't say call me in Arabic.
He said, call me, anything, any language.
He knows everything.
He knows the hidden and the hidden before
it becomes hidden.
And he tell me, I have to say
in Arabic.
So one of the first thing we learned
is when Rasulallah, peace be upon him, was
asked a question, he didn't know the answer.
He didn't answer.
And then he waited.
How long?
Already forgot.
Alhamdulillah.
I'm not going to answer.
How long?
15 days.
OK.
Are we guessing, or we know the answer?
I'll leave it.
You go back to your notes, whoever is
writing a note.
Or go back to the recordings.
So he come back, and Allah gave him
three answers.
True is clear answer.
And the third, nobody will know, including you.
So we'll start with the one who said,
the answer is not in Surah Al-Kahf.
The answer is actually in Surah Al-Isra.
السَّوْلِ تَلْهَمْ قُل, meaning tell them, not you
are saying.
I'm telling you to say, the soul is
from a matter of Allah, meaning unknown.
وَمَا أُوتِيتُمْ مِنَ الْعِلْمِ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا And whatever
you know is a little bit.
But the other two, he gave him the
whole detail.
One of them is which we covered, which
is the story of the young people of
the cave.
And now we're coming to the last one,
which is the story of Dhul-Qarnayn.
وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَن ذِي الْقَرْنَيْنِ Anytime you read this,
that's a general information for everybody.
There is in the Quran more than one
verse where it says وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ One of
the most famous one that every woman should
know by heart.
Start by وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ About what?
Yes, they ask you about?
Menstruation.
And who asked?
صَحَابَة The men.
وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَن ذِي الْقَرْنَيْنِ That's because the answer
you know.
قُلْ هُوَ أَذَنْ فَعَدَّسْ لِلُّنِّسَاءَ فِي الْمَحِيمِ So
when you see وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ That means he was
asked.
عليه الصلاة والسلام And normally the answer is
قُلْ Tell them, meaning He didn't answer by
himself.
Allah gave him the answer.
So here وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَن ذِي الْقَرْنَيْنِ They ask
you about the man with two horns.
طيب And وَيَسْأَلُونَكَ عَن ذِي الْقَرْنَيْنِ قُلْ سَأَتْلُوا
عَلَيْكُم مِّنْهُ ذِكَّرًا Now I am going to
tell you a story basically.
Here ذِكْرَ هُنَهُوَ الْقُرْآنِ I'm going to tell
you what the Quran say about it.
But I'm going to get you details.
Who is Dhul Qarnayn?
That's the first question.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ You all read Surah Al-Kahf,
right?
Yes, yes you do.
I know every Friday.
And who is Dhul Qarnayn?
Read number one.
Real or not real?
How many say real?
The answers all come from here.
This side is absolutely very shy and mashallah.
So is he real or not real?
How many say real?
And how many say not real?
And how many say I'm clueless?
Everybody else.
So about 30% are right.
Definitely he's real.
Because there was a question that he is
this story is all to understand something, to
deliver a message.
No, this is a real story.
Because Rasul a.s. said سَأَقْلُوا عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْهُ
ذِكْرَهُ I am going to tell you detail
about his story.
So who is he?
And you know I was covering this.
Two weeks.
Allah gave you one extra week last week.
Right?
So who is he?
Real person?
Yes.
And why the name Dhul Qarnayn?
Two horns.
So did he really have two horns?
Don't be so sure.
Right?
Don't be so sure.
Because that's one of the answers.
It's not he has two horns.
Actually have a crown that has two horns.
It's all nothing is 100%.
Because you don't have the answer.
It's just people scholars, they are interpreting this.
So either it's real, he has a crown
and the crown has two horns.
Or it's actually his hair has two braids.
Or nothing to do with his the way
he looks.
It's actually he is a person who traveled
through the earth from one corner to the
other.
So from one Qarn to the other.
Okay?
And why Allah is telling me this story
first?
That's the number one.
Before I even get to the details.
You all know the story, right?
So he's a man of power, right?
And then he traveled throughout the earth three
places, right?
And in every place, there was something he
did.
Okay.
Why Allah is telling me this?
What is the test here?
What is the temptation that I face every
week that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala wants
to remind me every week?
Power.
Power.
And power doesn't mean I have to be
a king or a queen or power anytime
I have a power over someone.
Literally.
Teenager power over her younger sibling.
That's power.
True or false?
You can manipulate, you can hurt, you can
benefit of course with the permission of Allah,
but you can.
You are a head of a department, you
have employees, you are, you have a power.
And then it can get bigger and bigger
and bigger.
Why it's a temptation?
Because you can misuse it.
And in which way you misuse it?
By disobeying Allah by it.
Disobeying Allah by it.
And the answer to this story is at
the end actually.
Without a lot of details.
So basically, he was a man who man
of power.
And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala facilitated the
earth for him to do what he needs
to do.
...
...
...
...
We gave him power in this earth and
facilitated the earth.
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
...
Next thing, you see on your WhatsApp an
announcement about the Umrah trip, do you think
this happened just because?
No, that's the mean, that's what Allah is
saying here, there's means.
But many of us don't look at these
means because sometimes we miss these means.
So Allah said, وَمَكَّنَّ لَهُ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَآتَيْنَاهُ
وَأَتَيْنَاهُ وَأَتَيْنَاهُ وَأَتَيْنَاهُ وَأَتَيْنَاهُ وَأَتَيْنَاهُ
وَأَتَيْنَاهُ وَأَتَيْنَاهُ وَأَتَيْنَاهُ to hear every, almost every
verse is Allah gave him, Allah made it
happen.
وَأَتَيْنَاهُ مِن كُلِّ شَيْءٍ سَبَبًا فَأَتْبَعَ سَبَبًا We
gave him for everything he wants to do
or he is able to do, this number
two I want you to pay attention, able
to do, we made it happen.
We gave him the means, I'm not smart
and I passed the exam, Allah made me
know the answer.
Did you see the difference?
Do you know what I'm talking about?
And this is very opposite where we are
living these days and how people think, I
didn't do it, Allah made it easy.
I didn't because I'm a very good chef,
then the recipe came excellent, or there's a
lot of other people who are also excellent
chef, or me the same person does this
recipe this time is great and next time
it's not, the means, فَأَتْبَعَ سَبَبًا That's to
you and me, take the means when Allah
send it.
When Allah facilitates things for you, don't say
I'm not ready yet, I'm gonna do it
when, the time is not mine, the time
is his.
If he send it in your way, and
I'm talking about acts of obedience to Allah,
or acts that will help other people, don't
say I don't have time, I'm too busy,
you missed it.
He throw it in your lap as we
say, and it's your choice, take it or
leave it.
And many of us don't see it in
this way, we miss it.
So he, ذِلْ قَرْنَيْنَ رَجُلٌ صَالِحٌ They say
he's a very righteous man, every message from
Allah he took it, فَأَتْبَعَ سَبَبًا Allah made
it.
Don't tell me how because we don't know,
I looked at many tafasir, nobody explained how
this man moved from one end of the
earth to the other end of the earth.
The only thing they know is the direction
he went.
But nobody, how did he do it?
How long it took him?
Can you imagine these days?
So the first thing he went, حَتَّى إِذَا
بَلَغَ مَغْرِبَ الشَّمْسِ Our side, western side of
the world, right?
So start with the sunset, وَجَدَهَا تَغْرُبُ فِي
عَيْنٍ حَمِئًا He found it, he reached to
the end and I was thinking subhanAllah, many
of you I'm sure almost everybody in this
room, you've seen sunset on the ocean, right?
Anyone in this room have not seen it
yet?
Because if not, you better go.
It's one of the most amazing, beautiful scene.
The question I always ask, and I know
the answer but it just comes, where are
you going?
Where do you see it going, the sun?
Where?
In the ocean, right?
Disappear, disappear, disappear.
Color change, change, change, change.
And at the last, probably two minutes, it
starts disappearing very quickly.
It comes right, goes, goes, goes, goes.
Did it go in the ocean?
Where did it go?
What?
What?
Where did it go?
What?
Went nowhere.
The sun is way much more bigger than
the earth.
It cannot get in.
If it wants to get in, it will
get stuck.
You know this, right?
The sun is way bigger.
So where does it go?
Now you have to remember your physics, right?
The earth turned.
The earth turned.
And I don't see it, but it's there.
Someone else, somewhere else, somebody else is seeing
it.
So here we go.
Look at the description of the Quran.
As if it entered, is like a black
mud.
So he saw it going into a black
mud.
It was not going into a black mud.
It was going actually in the ocean.
That's not the question.
The reason Allah said this, because he wanted
to tell me and you that he was
in one side of the world.
And it's so much us, because we live
in the western side of the world, right?
And who were these people?
No name, no description, because that's not the
issue.
Whenever Allah don't mention names or detail about
something, that means the essence is not in
that detail.
It's much more important.
We said, who are we?
Allah.
We told him.
What?
You have two choices.
I'm translating because I want you to think.
You read it every week.
We told him, you have two choices.
Either you will punish or you're going to
treat them well.
What is that?
It's an amazing meaning.
Those people were not believers, right?
And Allah told him two choices.
Either give up on them and punish them
or be patient with them and ask them
and guide them.
He was a scholar to Allah.
What did he respond?
One of you read it, because then you
will know you have to read this before
you come.
Or at least have your Quran with you.
He responded.
Allah gave him the choice.
If it says me, I was like, you
know what?
I'm not going to waste my time.
Allah knows how many people before me asked
them.
They didn't go.
Allah told me punish them.
Let's go.
He said, Those of you who are wrongdoers,
meaning you didn't listen.
I spent time.
I called you.
I explained.
You didn't listen.
We will punish them.
And then he will go back.
Then he will go back to his Lord.
Meaning they were kafir.
So what am I learning?
When I travel, what is the purpose?
And what am I doing in my travel?
I wanted to travel to go and see
my son or daughter in the East Coast.
Halal.
Absolutely.
What am I doing in this travel?
Seeing my son or enjoying cooking.
Okay, that's all fine.
Or going outside, seeing, spending quality time.
There's nothing wrong with that.
But that's it.
A hundred people will go and do the
same thing.
But there was only one or two.
They do all of the above.
But then add to it.
What mission?
What heart you changed in this travel?
In this four or five hours you are
in the plane.
In this airport you are walking.
Did you try to look sababa?
Ameen.
How many of you, when you travel, and
you stop at the airport in one of
these places, buying a drink or food or
something you need?
How many of us?
A very good possibility.
That's sababa.
Did you use that sababa to say something?
Not to say.
You're not going to be da'ia everywhere.
Da'ia with your body, with your body
language, with the way you handle yourself, the
way you carry yourself.
That's sababa.
And Allah, you told him, you know what?
You want to punish them?
Go ahead.
He said, no, no, no.
I'm going to try.
I tried.
They didn't listen.
That's their choice.
And Allah will take care of them.
Then Allah says, Now there is a linguistic
miracle here.
Followed the meme.
For those of you who know Arabic, I'll
say it first and then I'll translate.
Allah said it in every movement he moved.
The first one, Allah used The rest he
used Let me explain to those who don't
know Arabic.
Just the two simple letters, right?
But the richness of the Arabic language.
Meaning something is going to follow something.
That's how they say it.
If I use fa, that means this thing
happened immediately.
And if I say thumma, that means this
happened after a period of time.
Meaning if I'm here and I say, Sara
entered fa Fatima, meaning they were one after
the other.
No time between them.
Versus if I said Sara came in thumma
Fatima, there was a lag time.
Why I'm saying this detail?
In the beginning where he didn't move yet,
but Allah told him move right away.
The second one, he had to move from
the east, from the west to the east.
He need time.
Did you pay attention to this?
Subhanallah.
Every word in the Quran, every letter.
Because he moved.
Once he finished with these people, Allah said,
He moved all the way to the east.
How did he go to the east?
They said he went south.
Look at that.
Remember, hopefully you remember the geography.
So from, let's say from the US, he
went south, South America.
And then he went through Africa till he
reached east.
East meaning Asia, right?
But South Asia.
There he saw the sun.
He saw the sunrise.
Okay?
And what did he see in the sunrise?
Matli'a is when sun rise.
He saw that the sun has risen.
Whoever was living there, what dark color, they
don't have anything to wear and they don't
have places to live.
Those people, they have nothing to cover themselves
from the sun.
So scholar says, neither clothes nor even shade.
But didn't say anything else.
Nothing.
What happened there?
Didn't.
Why?
I don't know.
I don't know.
Now coming to what we're all, now there
is way more detail.
That's how scholars knew his direction.
So amazing.
Because they said, the two mountains are actually
in Armenia.
So he had to move now.
Which direction?
Alhamdulillah, because I was about to cry.
Okay?
He went North.
Are you all with me?
Literally, think he was in the States.
Went South to the East.
Similar.
Then he went to a place, Armenia.
He had to have gone North.
Why do now we need to know that?
Because as Muslims, we need to know that.
Because that place is one of the signs
of the Day of Judgment.
What is going to happen there?
Okay, what happened?
It's two big mountains.
Behind them, these two big huge mountains.
You can't understand what they are saying.
And they don't understand what he and his
people were saying.
It took them a time.
Many people, they say it's those people, the
Mongol or Tatar, or the place of China.
They speak different language.
But that's not the issue.
What did they say?
They said, Now coming.
These two who?
People.
Two groups.
They are spreading mischief on this earth.
They come, they attack us, they kill us,
they steal.
We're going to give you money.
Do you know what's al-kharaj?
It's usually used for?
Zakah.
This is one of the words that's used
in zakah.
Meaning, we're going to give you part of,
we will get you out of our money,
give it to you, just save us from
them.
And they gave him the idea.
They were thinking, when you want someone to
help you, bring a solution.
Don't let them decide.
And I don't know what to do.
Can you do this?
This is what they told him.
We will give you money.
We're not expecting you to do things for
free.
Literally, this is in the Quran.
Put something big, huge between us, so we
are safe.
What did he say?
Now you know.
From here, the message is coming.
What is the first thing he said?
This is a man, who has all the
power of the world.
He moved from the west, to the east,
south, north.
Allah told him, you do what you want,
but this people.
What is the first thing he said?
Whatever Allah will make me do is good.
He didn't say, sure, no problem.
Ah, you're not paying me enough.
What is this?
Right?
Don't you know who I am?
Don't we do that?
Don't we say that?
Indirectly.
Don't you know who I am?
You asked me to do this.
You didn't find someone other than me?
You belittle.
Or, of course I can do it.
Either I am going to belittle it, or
I am going to act as arrogant.
He didn't.
Immediately, the sign that anyone is not arrogant,
regardless what people say about him or her,
is when everything they do, or they achieve,
they're connected with Allah.
Then you know these people are not arrogant.
It's not, I did.
I'm smart.
It's my planning.
Whatever Allah will make me do is good.
He didn't say, sure, I'll do it.
Oh, I can't.
What is this?
Then he asked them to help.
Why?
Get the people involved in solving the problem.
Get them involved in solving the problem.
When your child comes to you and says,
what should I do?
Don't say, okay, I'm going to do it.
Let's see.
What do you think we should do?
All right, let's get this.
And those of you who have memorized Surah
Al-Kahf is one of the places where
people mix it up.
Which one?
When you know the meaning.
They thought the best way is put a
dam.
Dam, and what dam?
He came and he said, no, help me,
but help me with quwa, meaning be serious
and give me everything you can give me.
I am going to cover completely.
This is space.
Completely.
There will be no more space between these
two mountains.
Think of this whenever you see two mountains.
Whom or what they wanted.
These two big, huge mountains.
Just put a dam.
How big is the dam?
It's not going to be as high as
the whole mountain.
He said, no, no, no.
You help me.
I will cover completely all the space between
these two mountains.
Okay.
Now he tell, what do I need?
Give me big chunks.
Of?
Iron.
It's an amazing Arabic words Allah is using
here.
So beautiful.
It rhymes.
It has this effect on the, may Allah
teach you all.
Sadafain is the two mountains.
Another name.
He brought these big iron blocks and he
filled completely the space.
But there was still minor openings between.
You know when you try to put sometimes
completely closed, sometimes there's a little bit of
gap here, little bit of gap here.
Are you with me?
This can be moved.
Filled it out completely with this big iron.
He made the iron very hot.
You know this blow meaning start a fire.
But when you blow the fire becomes bigger.
What happened?
The iron become very hot.
No, the iron become very hot.
You can't melt it.
This is huge chunks.
He brought copper.
Now you put copper on a hot iron.
What is going to happen?
Stuck to it.
And then becomes very solid.
And then Allah said another linguistic miracle.
It was so tall.
They could not climb it.
Now there is a big huge barrier between
them and Me'juj and Me'juj will
never be able to go up.
There is no way they can make holes,
dig in it.
It's too thick.
It's too solid.
What did he say?
Now look at you and me.
You build this amazing mansion.
You have achieved whatever in your life.
You have this deadline of a project.
And the project you presented and everyone was
awed.
What do you feel?
What are you going to feel?
Come on.
Happy or proud?
Or you're going to go out and talk
about it to everybody?
Or you're going to take all these pictures
or videos and you're going to post on
every social media Allah created.
Right?
And today is the day I celebrate whatever.
This is the mercy from my Lord.
I didn't do a thing.
He didn't say me.
Look.
When the promise of Allah will come.
What is the promise of Allah?
The Day of Judgment.
It's one of the signs of Day of
Judgment.
What happened?
There will be a lot of openings.
A lot of openings.
And the will come.
It's not coming to me.
It's for the I'm sorry.
He didn't say when this is another verse
for the Anbiya.
He didn't say when the dam is open.
He said when is open.
And they're going to be coming.
This is a sign of the Day of
Judgment.
Are we ready?
What is he telling me?
There's many things we take from this story.
Number one.
Any power.
Any knowledge.
Any weakness.
Any lack of knowledge.
It's all from Allah.
And when Allah give it to me use
it in the way to please Him.
Because otherwise it's going to be against me.
And this knowledge this power the power could
be beauty the power could be money the
power could be children the power could be
status the power could be all of the
above.
Whatever Allah gives you use it for your
benefit in Akhirah.
Use it for His sake.
Use it for His sake.
And I'm going to beg everyone whatever you
post on social media ask yourself is this
going to be in my right hand side
or in my left hand side?
On the Day of Judgment when my book
will be open where will I see this
post?
Which angel wrote it?
When I'm going to post a picture that
I am going for vacation.
Which angel will write it?
There is no answer it depends.
Why you are doing it?
What's your intention?
What kind of a picture?
What's the message?
Who are you trying to show off?
Or no?
Are you really trying to share your happiness?
Why I'm posting it all over the world?
Show off is one of the major sins.
And we talked about it when we talked
about Iblis the middle story.
Try to avoid stay away from showing off
especially if you are a person or I
am a person I like it.
I love it when people praise me.
When you love it when people praise you
that's the last thing you want to do.
You are going to do something to show
off.
Because this is his response.
Your response my response should be When people
look and say wow mashallah whatever is this
mashallah and if they said mashallah then immediately
your response should be Wallahi I have nothing
to do with it.
It's all from Allah.
I don't deserve it.
So many other people deserve it way more
than me.
Do we do that?
Most of us don't do it not because
we want to show off.
We just don't think of it.
And that's why the Quran is a reminder.
Because this story is not a story about
the day of judgment and you need to
be ready because once you start saying Yajud
and Majud it's getting very close.
But it is the whole story as it
goes this is my and your story on
my daily life.
When I go for an interview and Allah
gets me the card Makanna lahu fil ardi
wa ataynahu min kulli shay'in sababa He
made it easy for you.
He gave you all the means He gave
us all the means to have this.
We take it for granted.
No.
Easily this can change.
These are all the means so when the
means comes in I need to take it
I need to use it for the sake
of Allah Two.
Three is the most important thing.
When the means brings fruits and bi-idhnillah
it will it should never be I did
it I brag about it and then I
take revenge from those who didn't help me
or make fun of me or whatever it
is.
And the best example we've ever seen in
our life and I don't think we will
ever see an example like that is what?
Is when the Rasul alayhi salatu wasalam entered
Mecca they threw him out they made fun
of him they threw garbage on him alayhi
salatu wasalam right?
They wanted to kill him they were the
reason that his beloved wife died because of
the hunger and then when he entered and
he is completely victorious how did he enter
Mecca?
On the camel they said that his head
is very close to the neck of the
camel which victorious leader will do this?
And 120,000 people even more are all
with him and what do you think I'm
going to do to you?
And he asked them what do you think
I'm going to do to you?
What I'm going to do to you?
Now he became the honorable man the son
of the honorable the honorable now you are
honorable and you are the grandson of an
honorable reminding him of his grandfather and he
said you go you're free I will never
forgive her I will never forgive him you
don't know what they did to me when
this statement come to your mind and it
does come because that's what shaitan does and
we are human we get hurt we get
disappointed we get stabbed in the back that's
I hate to say but that's natural it's
becoming the norm to keep you saying and
using this mean in the way to please
Allah is to remember when he entered Makkah
let alone Sayyidina Yusuf let alone Sayyidina Yusuf
whenever Allah give me power over anyone over
anybody the last thing he want to see
is that I am arrogant there is a
beautiful hadith about the end of the time
and I want to end with it and
I wrote it so I do not forget
about it is what is going to happen
and it's actually Sayyidina Zaynab asked him yeah
Imam Al-Bukhari he narrated this hadith Zaynab
bint Jahsh the wife of Rasul alayhis salatu
was salam he said Rasul alayhis salatu was
salam one day woke up out of his
sleep suddenly the Prophet woke up out of
his and his face was red and this
is usually a sign that he is either
upset or he is worried this is how
the only two ways he showed his emotions
when he was worried or upset they see
it on his face and he said there
is no god but Allah he was saying
there is no god but Allah no deity
worth of worship but Allah woe to the
Arabs woe to the Arabs from an evil
that is getting very close what is the
relationship with Al-Kahf from the from
this big huge barrier of Ya'juj and
Ma'juj a small opening and he did
this with his hand what a small opening
opened meaning day of judgement getting very close
and then she asked him are we gonna
be destroyed and among us are righteous people
that is the time of Rasul what about
now very reasonable question she said are we
gonna perish and among us the righteous people
he said yes the righteous people will also
perish when there is meaning when disobedience when
immorality becomes the norm how realistic how realistic
is this now and another very long Hadith
and this was in Ibn Majah so I'm
just gonna give you the gist of it
is once Dhul Qarnayn build this huge barrier
from that time they are Juj and Ma
'juj every single day come and work on
it and then at the end of the
day they say we made some progress let's
take a break and come tomorrow and Allah
seal it again and they come next day
and they start from the beginning till when
it is close to the day of judgement
that seal that day that little bit of
the opening they did they come next morning
and seal the same and they start seeing
the sun coming little bit through it and
then they will start working on it till
they make a bigger hole and they all
start coming and this is one of the
signs of the day of judgement and he
said this alayhi salatu was salam that time
it's 1400 more than 1450 now close to
1450 right so here you go this story
has so many meanings I just try to
give you overall whatever Allah gives you use
it for his obedience use it to help
people use it to be a mean of
a goodness to this earth to yourself to
the people number two don't brag about it
don't be arrogant about it on the contrary
rahmatun mir rabbi it's as a result of
the mercy of my lord always and then
whenever Allah is warning us we really need
to take heed and he left it at
the end and I always ask why did
he put and I'm not asking I'm not
questioning Allah but I what is the wisdom
you are teaching me that you put the
story of at the end right why did
he put it at the beginning Allah is
capable but he took me through young age
and I'm tested with my deen then I
start to have dunya and I start to
have money right I start to have money
that's test and then it takes time to
learn and it takes time to get to
your peak are you with me like usually
in the forties what you have achieved what
you want to achieve right whether in your
education or within your family and
we could be inshallah believing before a dajjal
comes in and all the major signs of
the day of judgement will happen so I
will leave you with this because we really
need to think every time every Friday you
read write some notes for yourself spend a
little bit more time literally every Friday you
do two verses just know the meanings now
you have an idea at least you have
an idea alhamdulillah but then just every Friday
two verses within a year you finished it
and in your Quran in your notebook wherever
you write wherever you write just write because
this is one of the surahs that Allah
said every week every week and there is
very few surahs in the Quran where we
have a time about it right and this
is one of them every week and we
have one which is every day and that
is other than al-fatihah of course al
-mulk before you go to bed right why?
there has to be reasons when Allah chose
from the 114 chapters in the Quran He
chose that and then I look and I
see the details of it and then inshallah
not next week as I said for those
of you who came late next week there
is a very important program in Garden Grove
it's a Tuesday it's Tuesday 7.30 is
it?
ok alhamdulillah so next week we will have
it it's the week after perfect so we
can finish surah al-kahf alhamdulillah may Allah
reward you so next week we will meet
inshallah we will finish surah al-kahf now
the stories are done now the summary yeah
take home message we say and it's gonna
be bi-idhnillah next week we're gonna again
review everything and then we will finish it
bi-idhnillah jazakum Allah khairan two
