we are slowly approaching the end of the month panela This is the 19th night of Ramadan that is coming up and we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to allow us to to maximize from this month

Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us in these first seven verses of surah Yaseen, how the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sent as a messenger to warn those who were doing wrong. And this we know is is the method of Allah subhanho wa Taala, to send a messenger or a prophet to the people of this earth, who will guide them towards what is best. And so handle that today, it had, you know, quite a few interesting conversations with various different people. With regards to some of the simple, you know, aspects of our belief in the deen and how to handle you know, as Muslim, sometimes we give the wrong impression, or even as parents sometimes we don't really know how to
address some of the topics that our youth are going through. And I think this is something that's, that's growing every day, because I'm doing this online. So a lot more people are reaching out as well, youth in particular asking simple, basic questions, like really, really basic questions with regards to Islam. And, you know, I wonder how is it that we can't answer these questions, and we can, but sometimes we don't know how to answer it so that the person listening will be content or satisfied. We're not trying to please anyone, but we're trying to give them a message, the message that the Prophet sallallahu wasallam gave to us, which is the Quran and transmit it to those so that
when they hear it, they understand it and they believe in it. And Subhanallah it's really a challenging time that we live in how we see Allah subhanho wa Taala sent prophets and messengers to clarify things to the people, and we need to continue to educate ourselves, all of us. It should not be something that we leave only to you know, the more of the scholars that are out there. We need to constantly be people that can answer the simplest questions of our Deen. Like answer them without saying, Oh, it's a command of a lot. Why do you pray because Allah commands us to pray, why do you give us a cow because Allah commands us. We fast because Allah commands us too fast. We, you know,
go for Hajj because Allah commands us to go for Hajj. Okay, he commands you to go for Hajj. But why does he command you to go for edge? Why does he command you to pray? Why does he do all of these things? Why do you have to do that? The simple questions of how sometimes we just can't answer them, right? We don't know how to answer it. Well, I don't know why I have to go for hydrogen.
Honestly, I don't know, right? I don't know why I need to pray five times a day. That's what youth are saying these days. And they're saying they don't know because when they ask their parents they don't know either, like they don't know how to easily explain it to the youth. And so I encourage all of us to, to learn Subhanallah a little bit more every single day or every single week or every single month, just set aside a day or a few hours on a regular basis, whether it's monthly, weekly or daily, to learn something that is simple and easy for you to retain and recall. So Allah subhanaw taala shows us that he sent messengers to warn the people that were doing wrong in verses number 13

Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us he sent messengers to them, and then he sends a third messenger and what do they say? They say You're nothing but a simple human being. You're just human beings just like us. You can't be someone who sent by a law sent by God, you're just a human being. Now we see how Allah subhanho wa Taala sent the prophets and messengers as human beings. Why did he do that? And we know very clearly, we would make excuses for our own selves, we would say, You know what? There's no way if let's just use the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam as an example, if he was a superhuman, or an angel or something, you know better or something above the creation of
ourselves as human beings, we would make excuses for ourselves and say, you know what he stood up in the middle of the night, he prayed to them, he gave that guy he went for Hajj. He did all of these things. But, you know, we're human beings. We can't do what he did. And he was, you know, like this and like that, if I'm saying if he was something you know, more than a human being, and this is why Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us in the Quran in various different places that he was a human being. He was a human being just like you and I, yes, he was the Prophet of Allah subhanho wa Taala. Yes, he was a messenger of Allah subhanho wa Taala. But he was someone that was a human being just like
you and I, he ate, we eat. He did business. We do business. We earn he earned. We had family, we have families, he had families had Allah. And so it goes to show us how Allah subhanho wa Taala sent messengers to the people of the past and they still didn't believe they still wouldn't listen. And they would say you're you're just a human being just like me, like what makes you different than I am. I'm just like you. But the difference is they were chosen by Allah subhanho wa Taala. And they were sent with a message and they received revelation. And so yes, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the messengers that came in the past and prophets. They were human beings, but they were
sent with something divine. We say about the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam what Allah says 1 million, or Nina
inwa in you. He didn't use to speak from his own whims and desires. What am I empty Parnell. However, whatever he would say, was not from himself or from his own thoughts and his own logic in Who are you? And so yes, the prophets and messengers were human beings However, they were sent with something that was guided by Allah subhana wa Tada. They were guided by a loss of power.
Added to do what they did. Now in this story in verses number 20 to 25, Allah subhana wa tada shows us and sort of seen
how a man comes running, telling the people, the people of the city to believe the messengers, those messages that came to you, they're telling the truth, and they don't want anything from you in return. They don't want anything in return. Why aren't you listening to them? These are people that came with the truth and they're telling you the truth, and they don't expect anything. It's not like they're coming in, they're selling you a subscription, or they're selling you something. And if you don't, you know, subscribe, or you don't pay them or you don't give them what they want. They're not going to help you with the knowledge that they have. No, they're not asking for anything. And Allah
subhanho wa Taala shows us that here. What

You don't say, you know what, give me $5. And I'll teach you the reality of what is actually mentioned on CNN and BBC and Fox and all that. No, you tell them listen, what you see there, okay, that's something that they're talking about. That's something that happened, but let me tell you the reality of it.
Because they've never been in a Masjid like you have. They've never opened the Quran and recited it like you have, they never sat and learn look like you have they never learned the son of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, they don't know the intricate details of this Deen. Whereas you do. And so you sit down and you speak to people and you don't say, you know what, give me your credit card. First, let me swipe it. No, of course your time is your time. You can you can charge for your time if you want, but you're not going to say I will give you a verse of the Quran, but you have to give me $1 and for every verse that I teach you, you give me $1 this is what Allah subhana wa Taala
prohibits through the son of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam. Someone says, You know, I will teach you 10 verses a day you give me this amount, and you're not paying for that person's time you're paying for versus if they only teach you nine, okay, I'll give you a discount today because you know what, I actually only taught you nine instead of 10. No, you're paying for their time you're paying for their energy you're paying for, for them actually coming and teaching you for rendering you a service, but you're not paying for the course. And you're not paying for the verses of the loss of hanaway to enter that are revealed. And nor did these these messengers and prophets of Allah subhana
wa Tada. Nor did they charge the people for delivering the message. They did it because they were genuinely concerned, just like you and I were genuinely concerned about our family members and relatives and co workers and colleagues and fellow students etc. We're genuinely concerned for them, not because we want to see them coming to the masjid with us, but we want to see them entering genda with us. And in order to enter agenda, they're gonna end up having to come to the masjid anyways. Right? And so it's important for us to, you know, trying to instill those values within us that we are ready to give people the message of Islam without expecting a single thing in return. nothing,
absolutely nothing in return, not even respect. I don't expect respect back from you. I'm going to teach you something of Islam. And I don't expect you to respect me in return. I don't expect you to think I'm some sort of holy person or religious person who you now need to treat differently. No, I will teach you something that was taught to us by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam that came to him from Allah subhanho wa Taala and I don't expect anything in return, no special treatment whatsoever.
And then Allah subhana wa Taala shows us in verses number 3232

So Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us that they marked every messenger that was sent to them and in verse number 33, Allah subhanho wa Taala says, I don't know whom one may

and assign for them is the dead Earth. This is a powerful lesson for us to learn. We don't really think of it but the earth itself the ground the soil, how many of you have bought soil from a store before you know you go to like Home Depot and buy a bag of soil Bank of Earth, right? Most of us have done that. For those that haven't we've dug a hole before in our lives. We know that the Earth itself it's dead. It's dead. It's like there's nothing you can keep it in the bag. You don't have to put it in the fridge. Right like you you buy food you need to put in the fridge or you know you buy bread you need to keep it wrapped up and and sealed. Otherwise, you know, you'll notice it's gonna
go really hard and stale. It's dead you could put it out in the dry you could put it outside in the backyard you could keep it in the bag you could keep it in your cart that nothing's really gonna happen to it right unless you keeping it in a bag and there's moisture and then that's mold that's gonna form inside but the earth itself it's dead there's there's nothing to it. You go outside right now you take some some sand some soil, pick it up. It's nothing right? But what does Allah subhanho wa Taala show us here. He says, We have brought it to life and brought forth from it grain and from it they eat. from the ground he brought life from the earth from the soil from from from the clay of
the earth. There's nothing coming from it. It's dead. Yes, there's insects in it, but somehow there's nothing in it. But Allah subhanho wa Taala took that and he created to Adam and his senate brought life out of it. Then we also see that we will come back from this earth when we are placed into the earth we know that our body decomposes, completely decomposes. The only part that's left is said to be Which part?
Right? No, not the skin.
Not even the skeleton after many years that decomposes as well.
The tip of the spine, the tailbone right the tailbone the last piece of Hannah law. And what does Allah subhanaw taala show us on the Day of Resurrection, we will be resurrected from the ground. How will we How will we be resurrected? Just a skeleton? No. Our full body with flesh everything just like it was Allah subhanaw taala will resurrect us bring us back to life from what from nothing. But Allah subhana wa tada mentions green as well. And he goes on into verse number 34 and 35 as well to indicate that to us. So Pamela, we placed there in gardens of palm trees and he mentions the green, you put that little seeds, you take a grain of wheat and you put it in the ground and what happens
is little grain insignificant. Sometimes you're eating your piece of bread and you chew on it. There's a little grain of wheat in there, big deal. You put it in the ground and what comes from it. Wheat grows out of the ground. It's something that's dead. It's like you put you know, when you think of it, something that's dead is someone that's dead is placed in a coffin. So it's like you put a seed in a coffin and you close the coffin. What's gonna happen, nothing's gonna happen. It's dead. There's nothing in it. That material is there.
It's made out of wood, whatever you want to call it, whatever type of coffin it is, nothing's going to come from it. But Allah subhanho wa Taala makes that seed grow out of the ground. So Pamela?
Well, I it's an idea. It's a sign of a loss of bandwidth and his greatness, his power, how he's capable of doing something, he brings life out of something that's dead. And it's assigned for us from Allah subhanho wa Taala of how he's capable of doing things when we don't even think of the intricacies of his creation.

But every single day Subhanallah he gives me some fruit salad right that his mom or his brother may get home hamdulillah and it's so refreshing. And I was thinking today I'm going to miss that fruit salad every single day that he's gone now. I'm not going
to have this you know he just comes in puts it in my place is fruit salad but it's so refreshing just a little bit but if thought time you taste those flavors, some common law and the colors as well. It's just something that makes you feel so good. wa Taala has given us, we move on to verses number 48 to 50.

I'm going to ask all of you. Why is it that Allah subhanho wa Taala kept the end of time a secret? Why did he keep the end of time his secret? Why didn't he revealed to us what year what month, what day, the end of time will be
what do you mean by it gives us a chance to repent?
So we would we would always be righteous until that day
where you're saying at that point in time just before we would repent.
Exactly, exactly. That's exactly it. Allah subhanho wa Taala keeps that last time that
last moment, a secret. And don't think that it's just the end of time, the end of time for us could end anytime. Any one of us Allah subhanho wa Taala could take our life. And we know that that's a reality. That's the only thing that is guaranteed to us that we will die, you will die. We have no choice. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us that that time is not given to us. Because if we knew if you knew that tomorrow was your last day, what do you think you'd be doing today, you'd be giving away all of your wealth, you'd be doing as much sadaqa you'd spend the whole night away, you wouldn't sleep. We wouldn't go to sleep tonight at all. If we knew that tomorrow's our last day, we
would see our family would make phone calls or send emails, we take pictures, we'd post things up, we would do as much as we could possibly do. We would meet all the people that we can we'd ask people to make forgiveness, we would prepare our own janazah even we would you know buy the coffin and make sure everything is ready. We would do everything we would repent before our time is over. And the loss of hanaway to Allah wants us to repent constantly and regularly and ask for forgiveness all the time. You know, we were coming in the car and it just reminds me of what my wife mentioned in the car. She's like, Subhanallah, you know, the first 10 days everyone's passionate, emotional.
their emotions are rushing, and they're ready to do what needs to be done during Ramadan. You're happy. It's Ramadan, you just give it all you got the middle 10 days we all feel drained.
And then the last 10 days, she was like, you know, it's interesting. Why does Allah put the put Laila to Qatar in the last 10 days, when we don't have enough energy to go on? Like we're running low on energy? Why does he put it in the last 10 days? Imagine if it was in the first 10 days. And I was like, You know what, if it was in the first 10 days, everyone would would get it. But because it's in the last 10 days, Allah sifted out the first sentence, you know, the people have the first 10 days, then he sifted out the people of the second 10 days, right, the first 20 days in total, and the people in the last 10 days, those that are actually going to go the distance to push a little
bit harder and seek it even though they're tired and drained and have no more energy, they'll get it.
And for those that feel tired, that feel exhausted, that are like oh, you know, these middle 10 days of handle and now I'm starting to feel at home and I have no more energy in the last 10 nights to like, you know what, I don't need to give it all I got, I just need to give it a little bit more. I just need to put in a little bit of extra energy. Maybe it's just an extra, you know, to America, maybe it's just an extra dollar. An extra dollar imagine you give $1 every single night Don't wait until the 27th night to give $10 give $1 every single night during the last 10 nights of Ramadan. Because if you catch that night of Laila to recover, it's going to be multiplied by how much?
How much, Laila to recovery. hadal Min, Alfie Shahar 1000 months. So it's as though you were doing this other car or doing that action doing that armel asking for that forgiveness, whatever it is that you are doing for 1000 months consecutively. So Panama. Imagine that. So don't just seek out one night and this is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was made to know and forget when the last time when laylat or other would be. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us through the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam the Sahaba of the Aloha and they would strive during the last 10 nights, the odd nights as well as the even nights. Why do we say the odd as well
as the even?
Why not just the odd nights? Because we know we're told to seek out the lateral corridor in the odd nights of the month. Why do we still do that during the evening nights? Who can tell us?
No one so we only come to the mustard on the evening nights and then the last 10 nights of Ramadan. That's it. Just don't come for a thought and don't come to the mustard. Just forget it. Why? Why do we do that? Let's see if people are nine No, no, they haven't responded yet. Why? Think?

Allah knows and ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to give me a long, long life upon a man right. So I can see my children grow and their children. I mean, a loss of Hannah, who were to Hannah wants us to seek out the odd knights and the even Knights because there's no guarantee when we began this month. We were actually started on the right night. Right? How do we know the first night of Ramadan? For sure was the actual first night of Ramadan? We don't know. We see sometimes at the end of the month, 30 days passes and we don't see the moon and
it's crystal clear. Where was the moon? Maybe we started on the wrong day. Oh, so then does that mean at the end of the month, we find out
All those odd nights that we were here and all the even nights we were chilling, all the even nights were actually the odd nights. That means all the odd nights the true odd nights, we were chilling. And we were playing video games and eating pizza and just chilling out and doing whatever we want to do. So So Pamela, this is why Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was made to forget. And he worked extremely hard in the last 10 nights, especially on the odd nights, but throughout the entire last 10 nights of Ramadan, and this habit of the Allahu anhu did as well. And so we need to make that part of our life the last 10 nights, we just give it all we
got. And don't push so hard that when I say give it all you got, don't push so hard that you have no more energy after the 23rd night to go for the rest of the month, you start to get sick, you start No, give it all you got as in give your body it's do right as well rest, when it's time to rest, rest. If you see that, listen, not all of us can spend the entire night awake, we work during the day, you can't spend the whole night awake, how you going to go to work. And Allah subhanaw taala does not want us to be people that are unproductive throughout the day, we need to be productive as well. Part of earning is very bad, our our our earnings that we go to work and give to our family
that's very valid as well. We're giving to our family, we're giving them this this wealth we're providing for them, we're fulfilling the rights that our family has upon us, that's a duty that we must do as men more particularly. And so if you can't stay awake all night, or you can't give more than the time you're already dedicating then don't. But make sure that what you were doing in the first 10 nights when you had all that energy the first night, the second night, the third night, try to relive those first few nights in the last 10 nights. Try to you know, if you were praying 20 and now it's dwindled to 18 to 16 to maybe 12. Maybe you're taking off after eight, then stay until 20
or try and do 12 try and do a little bit more, just a little bit, just one little thing extra during those last 10 nights. Remember at the beginning of Ramadan, I always told us, you have to make sure that what you do during Ramadan is something that you can try to maintain throughout the rest of the month. Now we're not all going to pray 20 for the whole year. But the point of taraweeh is to train ourselves to try and pray at least to Dhaka, every single night after Ramadan is done. That's it just to just to or just four or just eight, but try to do it. If we can do it every night, then every second night or every third night or once a week. try and do that. And so we ask Allah
subhanho wa Taala to make that easy for us. And so Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us that he did not indicate the end of time or the time when a punishment would come or anything of that sort. Because it can it allows us to continuously remain obedient to Allah subhanho wa Taala and not to go and commit sins all day and all night and wait until Oh, you know what, tomorrow is the day. Now I'm going to ask for forgiveness and Allah is going to forgive me if everything right in verses 55 to 58. Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us here

It's just, it's there, it doesn't go away. Even if they sleep eight hours every single night. It's there because they worked really really hard somehow. It's there. It's naturally there. You could see signs of exertion on them. And when you ask them, why don't you rest? Why don't

You might spend 60 years eating that bird because you enjoy the flavor so much and as you eat, it's not diminishing, it's, it's still there and you never need to go use the bathroom. Every single thing that you eat, you know, you're just eating, you're eating for the flavor. You know how we eat for flavor and this done yet? Like yesterday was saying I'm craving a burger. Alhamdulillah we had burgers. Then at night again,
another friend of mine bought me another burger. And I had so much Bergerac, at home like I don't feel like eating so I'm just full of burgers. Now. We eat for flavor, in in, in general we will eat for flavor. Here we eat to survive. We eat to get us through, we eat because we need it to stay nourished etc. But this life is temporary. And in in the hereafter we will eat forever We will enjoy ourselves forever. We'll have whatever we want and will feed whoever we want. So hon Allah we don't focus on that. We focus on what's here right now. And this is why Allah subhanho wa Taala is reminding us of the joys and the relaxation that we will get in gender versus 63 to 65 the
disbelievers will be dwelling in jahannam and their limbs will testify. their limbs will testify against them and then they will be placed in john them. And in verse number 69, which is the last verse that we will take from Surah Yaseen.

In verses number 20 to 30, the angels will gather those who are destined for jahannam. And Allah subhanaw taala stops them whoa, wait a second, you need to be questioned for what you did. First, you need to not only just be thrown into Jana, you need to feel
what I did was wrong. The message was given to me and I disobeyed, you need to feel that you need to be questioned about it. Why? Because when someone does something wrong, a child does something wrong, and you punish them.
Okay, they go stand in the corner. Hello. So you tell them, okay, you can leave a corner now. They just leave. But when the child is punished, stands in the corner. And then you tell them come I need to speak to you. Why did you do that?
Because they feel it, they start to feel it. And sometimes you'll notice the child gets emotional, starts to cry. I'm sorry, I didn't I didn't want to do that. I don't know why I did that. They get upset. I don't know why I did that. Why did you throw this thing? I don't know why I threw it. They get upset with themselves, they start to feel for what they did. And they recognize they realize, Oh, I did something wrong. And this is what I did. And so Allah subhana wa tada will question them as well before placing them into agenda in verses 50 to 61 friends.
And this is one of the biggest problems in our society. So how to love friends, our children's panel are being pulled away from the dean because of the friends that they have, and the things that their friends tell them. And it's it's impacting our youth more than it's impacting our adults, because we know as adults we become, we become settled in our ways and our belief etc. Alhamdulillah. And we continue on doing what we're doing. But our youth are very easily swayed and youth, it's natural, they're looking for entertainment, they're looking for something, and they are easily pulled into what their friends tell them. And here Allah subhanho wa Taala gives us an example of two friends.
One of them that's going to john, sorry, one of them that's placed in john them, and the other one is asking a lot about his friend, and a lot tells him Look, look at where your friend is and sees and says panela you know, it's really interesting when they see their friend, in janam they realize you almost dragged me in, you almost pulled me down that road, you almost brought me to where you are now. But um hamdulillah you are up there. And so friends, it's important for us to highlight to our youth to our children, the importance of friends. And as parents, we need to make sure that our children have good friends, righteous friends, Muslim friends, they can have some non Muslim friends
because they go to school. That's that's normal, the society that we live in, you can't control that 100% However, they need to have a group of friends that are their close friends, who they seek advice from, who they chill with, who they feel the most comfortable with. And those friends are good friends, good righteous Muslim friends have good Muslim families as well. Then encourage them to always do what's right and don't do what's wrong. Don't cheat, don't steal, don't use what's what's hot and what's not permitted, etc. And then we see in verses number 62 to 70. Allah subhanho wa Taala asked the question is paradise better? Or the tree of Zakouma? What is better?

Of course paradises better, right? Are you paying attention? Do you understand? The people will go to it and they will eat the fruits, the fruit that look like the head of shavon and it stinks and it's extremely bad tasting but they will eat it so much that they will fill
their bellies with it. You know, you might go out there and you see something on your plate. You're like given us a moment
Alhamdulillah eat a samosa because it tastes good. I'm given this nice piece of baklava for, you know, humbler brothers who are Arab. They love the flower we're always talking about the Pakistani of the Indian sweets and stuff. They love the flower. Mashallah. So or robust boosah or something like that right? Have the lads there you eat it. It's nice. And then you see something there. You're like, I don't know what this thing is.
It doesn't look good. So you don't feel like eating it. It doesn't smell good. You pick it up.
Where did this come from? Right. Doesn't smell good either. But they will eat it. And you taste it. You're like, oh, it doesn't taste good. And so you might say, you know, it's on my plate. I don't want it to go to waste. It doesn't look good. It doesn't smell good, but I'm gonna eat it anyways, because it's in the mustard. The brothers gave it to us. Alhamdulillah right. So you take it and you eat it like oh, this is spoiled. Now you have a reason not to eat it. But these people somehow they'll go to the tree of the comb, and they'll take it and they'll eat it. It doesn't look good. It doesn't smell good. It doesn't taste good but they'll eat so much of it to fill their stomachs.
They'll just eat it and eat it and eat it and eat it and eat it
because they're suffering and they're being punished and this is all they have to eat. It's like luxury to them but they don't like it but they have no choice they eat it.
And then the last panel attalla shows us as well that they will drink from honey honey misled to be boiling water and in another narration I remember our chef was telling us it's boiling pus you know pus coming out of your body boiling pus and handler they will drink it they'll have nothing else to drink and they will drink it and fill themselves with it Subhana Allah
and then they will return to the flaming fire. Then the surah goes on. So it talks about new Allah has sent me Ibrahim alayhis salaam is Marian Moosa Harun Luthor alayhi wa sallam in verses 139 to 148. So we skip all these verses because Allah subhana wa tada is talking about stories which we went over and we don't want to go over them and spend too much time that we don't have to begin with verses 139 to 148. Prophet Yunus Allah has sent out we didn't talk about prophet Yunus. Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us here in these verses, he was sent to people who numbered over 100,000 they numbered over 100,000 that's the amount of people that he was calling towards Allah subhana wa
tada and to stop sinning, they were sinners. And he was telling them stop these things. Stop what you're doing. Stop it, don't do this. And he got a little bit anxious. He left before the command of Allah subhanho wa Taala. He left before a lot told him to leave.
And prophet Yunus Allah has sent him we know very well that he leaves and when he left, before he left the sky started to change colors. Right are when he leaves the sky starts to change colors. And they thought you know what, oh, this must be the punishment that Eunice Allah has sent him is talking about this must be the punishment because the sky is changing color and he's no longer with us. But it was just a storm.
It was just a storm because Eunice Ana has sent him he goes and he gets on a boat. And when they're on this ship, the storm hits them. He was a storm from Allah subhanho wa Taala. But they thought because Yunus left and the sky is changing color. This must be the punishment. And so they turned to a lawn they repent all of them, all of them over 100,000 they all repent to Allah subhanho wa Taala they all ask for forgiveness, they turn to Allah over 100,000 people Subhana Allah and Allah tells us that in the Quran right here, right in the verses that we're covering. And so Allah subhana wa Taala shows us Eunice Allah, his enemies in the ship, and then they draw lots they have to pick and
choose whoever gets one of these sticks, for example, that has, you know, a sign or a mark on it. You are someone that has to jump overboard, because the storm was so strong that the ship was not capable of battling the waves. So they started to dump all the extra weight and there was nothing left there were only human beings left on the ship. And they started to say we need to start getting rid of human beings as well in order to save the rest of us. And so they started to draw lots and they chose and the first time was Yunus and the captain didn't want to let us go because he was a righteous pious person. No we're gonna choose again so they choose again second time Yunus
No, we're gonna do this again. Something's wrong. Third time they draw lots Eunice again, chooses that one, you know, the choice comes out Allah subhana wa tada is choosing Eunice Allah has sent him to jump Eunice na Salaam recognizes this is from Allah. He goes and he just jumps over without asking anyone he just leaves jumps over. He swallowed by a whale and Allah subhana wa tada shows us he's in the depths of the sea. In the middle of the night, in the belly of a whale three layers of darkness. Eunice Allah has set up
and then Allah subhana wa Tada, you know, shows us that he repents. He asks for forgiveness. The whale spits him out. He's thrown ashore. He's a short and the acids of the stomach of the whale because we know our stomach has acid in it. And that's why I'm gaining weight.
This month because I take acid reflux pills, and it's stopping the decomposing the the food from decomposing inside of me, and I'm gaining weight right. And so so Pamela Yunus and his enemies in the well the whale's belly, and the acids of the stomach because a whale doesn't chew its food, it swallows it whole. The acids decompose the food that's in there, and Eunice's in there. So he's considered food. So the acid start to affect his body. And when he's thrown on the shore, the sun starts to rise and the sun is shining on him. You know, when you get sunburn, how bad it feels. Imagine your skin is burnt from the acids of the stomach. And it grows and it shades Eunice Allah has sent them and what does Allah subhanho wa Taala show us afterwards, Eunice la Salam returns to his people and he finds them all believers who repented hamdulillah over 100,000 of them. We move on in verses 149 to 160 Allah subhanho wa Taala clarifies that the angels are not his daughters. A lot of people including you know some of the Christians today they will say
that the angels are the children of God. They are not his children. They are not his sons, nor are they his daughters. They are not the children of Allah subhanho wa Taala they are a creation of Allah, just like we are a creation of Allah, just like the insects and the animals and the plants and everything around us is a creation of Allah subhanho wa Taala so the angels are not the children of Allah and he reiterates that and highlights it there in the next water sort of sword
Okay, Mashallah. We have two suitors to go through. We'll do it. Don't worry, we'll do it. I'm determined. In the next one, which is the 38th surah of the Quran. Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us in verses number 21 to 25 Deadwood Allah has sent him and the two men there was a time when two men jumped over the walls that were protecting the home of Deadwood. Allah has set up and dealt with that in his salon. He had quite a few wives and his wives. He was over protective. He was he was very protective of his of his wives. And when he saw these two men inside of his home, what are you doing here? They jumped over into his home. And they tell him two of them complaining. One of them
says, You know what? He came and he took
you know, they they have sheep amongst themselves. And he's like, we have 100 sheep and he has 99 and I have 100 and he took he wants to now take the last cheap and so dellwood Ali Salaam he's listening to this man. And he says you know what? This is wrong. Like why you have 100 sheep together? And this man has 99 of the sheep and he's asking for the last sheep from that other men like that's not fair that's not right. So immediately dealt with it his son I'm without listening to the other person who has the 99 sheep. He only listens to the person that has one sheep. He makes a decision and Allah subhana wa tada reveals these verses right? Don't just use your own

He says, the one who has 99 is wrong. And Allah subhanho wa Taala. Immediately, those two men, they disappear. And he knows this was a test from Allah. He tells him Don't make decisions based on your own desires. Don't just, you know your own thoughts. Use justice. You didn't ask the other person. Why don't you ask the other person? Even though he has only one sheet left? You're supposed to ask him. Why I heard your story. Now I need to hear your story. Right? Oh, sorry. Hear the person who has the 99 Why didn't he
listened to both of them. And immediately he knows that this was a test from Allah Subhana Allah to Hannah. And he bows down he goes down in prostration. He makes the jute he makes such that to a loss of Hannah Montana. And he immediately asks for forgiveness. And this is why you see in verse number 3430

in verse number
24, we ask Allah subhana wa sorry he asked Allah subhana wa tada for forgiveness. And you see the line there that's indicating to us again like we covered the other day as such. And when we recite this verse, we make a sajida to Allah subhanho wa Taala we make such that it's a subset to our but the such that the Buddha Allah His Sunnah made was such that seeking forgiveness, it's which indicates to us as well the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us the closest we will be to Allah subhanho wa Taala is when we are in such de and so when you want to seek forgiveness and you're asking Allah subhanaw taala in your heart, makes sense that you don't have to Allahu Akbar to
start your Salah. No, just makes such de and Mick Doohan whatever language you want, just turn to Allah immediately right now you could do it and make such a loss of halloweentown and ask for forgiveness in whatever language you want. And so this is what the Buddha has sent him did in verse number 26 powerful advice that Allah subhanho wa Taala gives to leaders and this is you know, the advice he gives to the Buddha his center don't just you know, use your own thoughts and so on.

So we'll take two for the story of you. Allah subhanho wa Taala shows us in verse number 41 to 44 a Yoruba Allah
has set up and he's extremely patient, extremely patient, Allah Subhana Allah gave him children, he gave him property, he gave him wealth, he gave him a family, you know, a nice big family and hamdulillah Allah subhanho wa Taala gave him everything he had ease of life. And then he was tested with patience. He lost his his family, he lost his children, he lost his his his wealth, he lost his property. He lost everything, including his health was now affected. And the last thing he had left was his wife. And his wife left him and he before his wife left his wife, you know, came to him and said, You know what, look what I was doing to all our friends, our family, everything is gone. No
one wants to be around us look at you look at your state your condition. And he says should I be someone who's going to complain to a loss of hanaway to Hannah? Should I complain to Allah, I had decades of beautiful life and enjoyment and pleasure and luxuries. And now not even one decades of suffering and pain. And you're you're you're already losing hope in Allah subhana wa Tada. And he you know, she decides to leave and he says, I will last you If Allah gives me help, I will take he says I will last you 100 lashes, if I'm able to do so, and she leaves. And when Allah subhanaw taala give her gives her gives him health. She returns to see that he has health. She felt bad she
returned to him. She felt like I abandoned him. She returns to you but I know his system. And he made an oath to Allah subhanho wa Taala he swore that he would lash her 100 lashes and look at how Allah Subhana Allah is merciful, tells him to take grass,
grass, it's like this right? Take grass and just fulfill the oath and it doesn't hurt her. What does it do? It tickles her. It's like romantic, Mashallah. It's really nice about Allah. And just do that just fulfill the oath with something that you can do it a million times, and it will not hurt her. It won't hurt her. It's like this. And I know that people who are watching they can't see some kind of love. It's like this like grass, you take it, it doesn't hurt. It doesn't hurt some kind of Allah. So Allah subhanho wa Taala makes him fulfill his oath. And that is, you know, a lesson that we learn from you but Allah has sent him to be patient and to fulfill the oath that we take with
Allah subhanho wa Taala. Or if we don't, then we have to seek forgiveness from Allah in the ways that we will discuss as we move on. We ask Allah subhana wa tada to grant us forgiveness. During this month of Ramadan. We ask Allah subhana wa attallah to make it easy for us to learn the verses of Quran ask Allah subhana wa Taala to help all those that are suffering in different parts of the world. We ask Allah subhana wa tada to safeguard our children, grant them righteous good children and to protect them in this dunya as well as in the hereafter. And we ask Allah subhana wa attallah to keep our children upon amen and Islam I mean out of the land I mean are some of those cinnamyl
