Today my brothers and sisters
we learned named number 99 of the names of Allah subhana wa Tada.
And as I mentioned at the beginning of this series,
the Hadith mentions
as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salam says Men, small, delicate and Jana,
whoever learns these names of Allah, whatever understands and lives by the names of Allah subhanho wa taala, Adam, calls upon him at times of needs, submits to Allah Subhana Allah to Allah in the ways that we learned through His names as our Creator.
The Prophet saw a blog where it was sending them says Delta the agenda that person will enter into paradise.
In fact, the verb is in the past tense, affirming that that person has already entered into paradise.
Today we'll learn the name of Allah, a sacred, a sacred and I know that this name is a name that some of you might have before your own name.
Especially in our community, many people from the Pakistani or Indian subcontinent, you know will have this name before their name indicating that there is some link between them or their family and the family of the prophets of Allah where it was, that they are in some way shape or form, you know, descendants of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam.
But to learn about this name of Allah subhanho wa Taala let's try to understand what it means a seed is the Lord
the Lord
and we know that Allah subhana wa Tada as a prophet is our Lord as well. And he is also the master. Now this name of allah Sayed is one that is somewhat complex to understand, easy yet
difficult, difficult because we didn't take the time to really comprehend what Allah subhanaw taala is trying to tell us with regards to his name throughout all the examples he gives us in the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, but easy because if we simply think of it, Allah is our Lord. Yes. Allah subhanho wa Taala no doubt is our Creator and the one who is our master, and we submit to him and he's in control of everything.
But at times we try to find help and assistance throughout our lives for things and we turn to other than Allah subhanho wa taala. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he mentioned this name of Allah subhanho wa Taala in a hadith hadith is an authentic hadith found in Abu Dawood and
Abdullah inicia. Here he says, that I came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam with a delegation from Benoit.
I came with a group of delegation from Benoit Abba who tried to valor to meet the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and we said to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam for Pune and SAE Duna. They said, You are our salient.
You are our Savior, You are our Lord and the prophets of Allah and he was salam he responded to them and he said the Lord a Sayed is Allah.
The Lord a say it is Allah, the Most Blessed, the most exalted,
the most blessings, the most exalted.
Now we see here that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is freeing himself from being associated to Allah subhanho wa Taala as the one that helps people. That's really what we're coming right down to. When we think of this name as saith the Lord the master, think of it as you have this awesome sidekick at work. Okay, someone who's always with you, someone who you might consider your personal assistant, your helper, your secretary or I don't know someone who is always with you. And everything that you need, you usually consult with that person, you'll go through that person, and every time you're in a really difficult situation, you're stuck, that person is going to find a way
out. Your personal assistant is always going to be there to to have your back. When you make a mistake, they'll clean up to mistake when you're trying to figure out a difficult situation they'll figure it out for you and present it as though you did the work when in reality they were the one who did it.
A while some how do we tie that as a say it? He shows us that he's in control and in charge of everything and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam frees himself from being associated to Allah subhanho wa taala. And this is important. This is so important because we know that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is saying you do one or the other. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the helper or the master of the people of this world, right the Children of Adam Ali Hassan.
But the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam makes it clear, I am not your sacred.
Allah is a sacred he is the master Ye is the Lord showing us that this Deen that Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam came with this beautiful way of life. The Sunnah along with the Quran, the verses that were revealed in the Quran, they are not from Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
he is teaching us so the longer I think he was salam link everything to Allah, He is your master, He is your Lord. He is your helper, he is your Sustainer he is your provider, he is the one who's going to grant you Shiva and so on and so on and so on.
So that aspect of understanding Allah subhanaw taala through this name is so important. Because at times in this dunya my brothers and sisters we look for help from other human beings. Now Allah subhana which Allah has put people and things in place to help and assist us when we're going through hardships, but the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam also told us In another Hadith, that we should first turn to Allah.
He does stir enter fester and Billa he does LTFS le Allah, when you're going to ask when you need help you need assistance term to Allah.
Then you will find that Allah subhanaw taala will make things of this dunya come into place to assist you. So it came from Allah and you turn to Allah and what Allah gives us is obviously going to be from this world whether it comes in the form of money or it comes in the form of materialism or it comes in the form of human help, whatever it is, it will come but it comes from Allah subhanho wa Taala and that's an important points to remember when it comes to thinking of ALLAH SubhanA wa
We try to associate. Now I mentioned at the beginning of my football that some of you might have this name as like a prefix, right, your parents will name you see and so on. So say it sounds or or you're from the same family. And I always found this really interesting that the majority of the family or the majority of the so called descendants of the Prophet SAW longer and even some of our Pakistan.
I'm not saying it as a joke. I'm saying it seriously that I always found it very interesting. But I know as well that culture, certain cultures allow us to hold on to certain things more. And there's nothing wrong with holding on to knowing that we have a connection to the prophets of Allah or any us Allah. But going back to the Hadith that we're learning today, where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says that Allah, ye is your Savior, He is your Lord, He is your master. There are times in this dunya where some people around us will say, go to that family, they are Sayid's. Go to this person he or she is a Sayid is in there from the family of the Prophet or the descendants of
the prophets of Allah as of now, like I said, whether there's truth to that, or not only Allah Subhana Allah knows, like, I'm not going and checking people's lineage. And I also like I said, I'm not making fun of anyone or any culture. But what I am saying is that we should be able to distinct or differentiate ALLAH SubhanA wa to Allah and distinguish the fact that he is our board. That it doesn't matter if someone is from the descendants of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam Alhamdulillah good. But we find people who have this name say yet who are doing sins committing sins doing haram. So it doesn't really matter. At the end of the day, what matters is that we all turn to
Allah and submit to Allah and we don't worship the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, nor do we worship anything else or anyone else. And we'll take examples of this in the second half of this clip while you're probably still filling buffer, so fill in a one off
how do they learn Lillahi Rabbil Alameen wa ala octava to live on 13 All the sudden EVO Selim or Elena V Hill Karim. And from solid to automata Salim a mother and my brothers and sisters. Sometimes ALLAH SubhanA, Allah to Adam brings examples right in front of you.
And it's important for us to try and recognize what lesson we're trying to find some lessons in the things that happened right around us. An example to explain how Allah subhanaw taala is the Lord and Master is the recent death that we had of our brother got off it or hang up a lot who just passed away
the son that brother Naveed most of you know, we attended his Jenessa yesterday, he passed away on Wednesday
in the morning sometime in his sleep, and I won't go through the whole story. But one thing that's really interesting is that he was 19 years old.
And he passed away in his sleep.
Now, anyone who hears this usually says What was the reason?
I was the reason why a 19 year old is not meant to pass away. Right? People think to themselves, I'm 40 I'm 50 I'm 60 How did this not? Surely he must have been Ill surely he must have had this issue that issue maybe it was this? Maybe it was that? And I'll very openly say this that I'm sure there's many people because I know they've reached out to me who said you must have been like what suicide is no wasn't.
People assume things and as believers we are not meant to assume negative of anyone or anything.
So having said that, going back to him being 19 years old, passing away in his sleep. I want us to link this to Allah being a salient how
we ask ourselves what is the reason there doesn't need to be a reason. There doesn't need to be a reason why a person passes away whether they're two years old, five years old, a month or even a day old. There doesn't need to be reason as human beings naturally we accept it when we hear an 85 or an 88 year old grandfather grandmother passed away we say in that Allah, you know, they were old, they live their life, it was a natural cause of death. Why is it that a 19 year old can't have a natural cause of death. And when I say natural cause of death, that Allah subhanaw taala decreed this person will only live to this age on this day. At this time the angel will be sent
it and the salt will be taken and that's it. In that Eli you are in a in a urology room. And that phrase that we say in that Allah right there stop.
Verily to Allah we belong.
It's It's a phrase or even a few words that we as believers still have not fully grasped.
We belong to Allah. And I was sharing this with Brother Naveen yesterday at the janazah.
Because parents always will feel they may not say it, but they feel how am I burying my own child.
The natural course of life is that we get older we pass away then people were younger, they live in, they get older and then they're gonna pass away. But the reality is in that Allah, no child belongs to their parents.
None of us and we are all children, of our parents, none of us belong to our parents. We belong to Allah. And the fact very good, the fact that we belong to Allah
means ALLAH has every right to take us back because he was the one who brought us here in the first place.
We belong to Allah. I am born to my parents, they receive a child as an Amana, you as parents, we as parents, I'm a parent as well, we are, we have our children. They're entrusted to us, we have a responsibility to look after them. Once Allah takes our children back. That's it. The responsibility is over.
But there are other responsibilities that we still have in life. And that's our focus that we continuously worship Allah subhanho wa Taala so my brothers and sisters,
link it, we belong to Allah. And Allah is a saith the Lord the master, he doesn't need a reason to take us back. He doesn't need a reason for for for anything that he has legislated upon us. Salah we asked herself children asked this question why do I have to pray five times a day mama Baba going on? And I never thought of that. Let me take you to shake. Right? Mama Baba, why do we have to pray during Ramadan? Or why do you have to fast during Ramadan? You know what I never really thought of why we need to do we just do it. Let me take you to the chef.
And that's the reality of it. Is that first of all, we don't spend enough time learning about Allah subhanho wa taala. And this is the full reason why in fact, the brother sitting right here against the wall is a brother who spoke to me a few years ago and said we need to teach the community more about Allah subhanaw taala.
These two brothers were sitting with me one day and they said, You know what? It's enough about fluff. It's enough about like, Okay, we come we learn, we leave. No, let's learn about Allah so that we empower the community to learn about our Creator so that when we all are faced with some challenge in life, we will be able to navigate through it, we won't fall back on someone else's shoulders. And that's exactly.
My brothers and sisters. Allah subhanaw taala blessed us with the ability with the ability to spend the last two years
How about the last two years learning about his names?
Two years of doing Joma footbaths on one topic and names of Allah.
Allah, ask yourself now, how many do you remember? Ask yourself, How has my door changed? Ask yourself, Do I even call out to Allah using certain names specific names at times when I'm going through hardships and challenges? Because now you know what those names mean? You know a lot more about your Creator. Remember, there were times where it came in. They said you've probably never even heard of this name of Allah before.
And I remember after Juma people coming to me and they're like, this can't be a name of Allah. I never heard it before. This is a quote just because you never heard it doesn't mean it's not a name of ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada. What it means is that we haven't learned enough. I don't know what topic we're going to continue on with now. I'm closing the chapter. And ask Allah Subhana Allah to bless us with more time and more opportunities to learn more about him. This was a beautiful journey, a beautiful time that Allah subhanaw taala Allah Rouhani has blessed us with that associate has commanded us with that our Rob has created us with and put us in a position to submit to Him. This
is our time my brothers and sisters to learn about Allah subhanho wa Taala because our time is limited, none of us knows when we're going to return. None of us knows when our Janaza will
We pray it. But when it's prayed, the people who remain behind will be the people who are still able to do something about it. And the fact that we're still sitting here right now means we are still able to do something about it. It's never too late to change. It's never too late to repent. It's never too late to ask for forgiveness. It's never too late to do a good deed. You never know the $1 The 50 cent 25 cent coin that you have in your pocket that you put in the box, for example, or you give to someone or you see someone who's hungry someone needs a child comes in says, oh, you know that food looks so good. And you buy it and you gift it to them. That one good deed could be the
deed that takes you to paradise. Because you did it sincerely for Allah because you learned about him and you submit to him
last Sunday I never had any more home and cumbersome way today but I can only
imagine while back I have Muhammad Muhammad Ali Muhammad come about I know Brian Eno and Ali Brahim in the emerging a lot more than our our Athena want multiple bobina Ananda now Saudi Hi yah
yah I love this make it easy for us to continue to learn about you know, I love this make it easy for us to submit to you. Yeah, I love these make it easy for us to submit to you in the ways that you love and not in ways that you are displeased with. Now a lot of these make it easy for us to understand that you are a sacred and that you chose the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to be from your prophets and messengers will convey this message to us. It Allah make it easy for us to submit to you and to follow that so none of Mohamed salah I think you will stand up for the message that he came with as a truth and the message that he came with is the truth and the message that you
came with will always be the truth. Yeah, I love this have mercy upon the family members of brother Naveed himself and his family. They're going through a difficult time about these make it easy for them and make us as a community be there for them and everyone else in the community was going through some sort of hardship and challenge. A lot of the hardships and the challenges, the stress and the pain, the depression, the anxiety, it doesn't just go away in a day or two and you know that You created us Yeah. Anyone from amongst us was going through some sort of hardship. make today a day that they feel ease make today a day that they feel happy, make today a day that they start to
get better and today a day that they elevate themselves in Rankin status before your eyes. Allah please have mercy on one of the brothers as well Mohammed II was in the hospital who was walking just yesterday but today is laying in a hospital bed yet Allah please have mercy on every single one of us in this community and make us from amongst those who submit to you in the ways that you love Amenia Ramadan I mean in the lion will be likely well yes anyway either way inherited fracture you might want to kill you and Billy you're overcoming that and they'll come to the Quran with quite a while on whether all your surgical or con political over here or longer animal that just don't Okay.
