Today on this blessed Friday, a Friday that is cold, a Friday that is white, a Friday that is beautiful. A Friday when the angels are descending
around us of course surrounding us when we seek the the knowledge of the Quran and learn together a day when the Peace and blessings of Allah subhanho wa Taala is being showered down upon every single one of us on this blessed, beautiful Friday, a day when we increase our salah and sell them upon the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. We noticed that with the beautiful white snow that we have here at least in the GTA, Allah subhanho wa Taala surrounding us with even more angels for the rain that comes down even if it's frozen in the droplets that turns from water to ice or water to snow is being sent down by two angels and Allah subhanho wa Taala has given them that command to carry out
and so my brothers and sisters
when we see that the blessings of Allah subhanho wa Taala are around us everywhere. We should rush towards asking Allah subhanho wa Taala for more, especially on a Friday, on the Fridays the Sahaba of the Allahu Allah home would leave whatever they're doing and they would rush to worshiping Allah subhanho wa Taala and we know this very well we talked about it when we discussed Juma. Yeah, you holiday in German either new de la sala teeny yo Mila Juma first Sal Isla zicatela. So rush off towards the remembrance of Allah subhana wa Tada. And that's important for us to do. Last week we spoke about are in fact the week before and last week, a semi Albacete a semi Albacete, the all
hearing the all seeing and so today we will look at the next two names of a law that will take which are corrib and l mu g, l corrib. And l mu g, these two names of Allah subhanho wa Taala you'll find them in the Quran.
Allah Mooji for example, comes in the Quran only once Okay, it is only mentioned in the Quran once and you'll find this in Surah houde verse number 61 in Nairobi kariba Mooji k in Nairobi, Karima mujeeb. So we don't only see the name of a lot mujeeb Here we also see a corrib now what is an emoji? What does it mean? an emoji is the the one who answers the answer, right? For example, someone calls you on your phone and you answer the phone, you are answering you are responding. So I'll Mujib is the one who answers you say ajeeb anulus Isla de Italia. When you receive an exam in Arabic, they'll tell you to ajeeb to answer the questions that you'll find in front of you and so
on. Mooji is the one who answers the call of the one who is calling out to them okay, out of Korea but is also found in the Quran but it is found three times in the Quran. And an example we just took what either said Allah kariba do anything in the corrib Allah Subhana Allah says in Surah Al Baqarah ye there's a birdie when one of my servants calls out to me one of my worshippers calls out to me for in near Caribe, then I am truly near that servant of mine. Now when we talk about the nearness of Allah subhanho wa Taala in this name, Allah corrib we see that Al Karim means the one who is near the ever near. Okay, so if Allah Subhana Allah to Allah is the one that
who answers and the one who is near and the one who is all hearing and all skiing? Then anytime we raise our hands and ask Allah subhana wa Jalla endora?
Would he reject it?
If he claims that he is the one who answers the call of the servant?
Would he answer it
in a way that is rejecting the call. And I want to take you back to that example of the exam. When you have an exam question that comes to you, and you now need to answer these questions. You may answer it in a way that is successful, or you may answer it in a way that you lose marks and you may fail, but the Mujib The one who hears and listens, and the one who answers our do our or our request will never fail and can never fail. And so mujeeb when Allah listens to the due to the call of the one who is requesting from him, he fulfills it. So we learned two weeks ago that Allah subhana wa Jalla is a semir and Obasi and we also saw in the examples that we took a beautiful story of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam going on this journey with the companions with the Sahaba of the Allah at home. And as they're traveling along,
they start to climb this hill. And it's from the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu Adda usnm to say Allahu Akbar, when we are going up when we are escalating, right? When we're going up higher, we're walking up or we're going upstairs or we're taking an elevator or you're in an airplane going up, save quietly to yourself, right, don't yell it out loud. And so so Pamela it's from the sun not to say Allahu Akbar, to praise Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah and glorify Him because even though we're going higher, Allah subhana wa Jalla is the Most High. And so the Sahaba of the Aloha and home they started to say la ilaha illa Ma, really loud the Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar as they're walking up
this hill with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And when the prophets on the lower end of us lm saw that the Sahaba of the Allahu anhu were doing this, he got a little bit upset with them, and he admonished them. And he told them to take it easy. We learned this lesson already two weeks ago, he told us a habit of the long run home, take it easy for a law is not deaf. He can hear you. You don't need to raise your voice and yell and scream really loud. And you'll notice some Hannah law even though we can't see Allah subhanho wa Taala he is aware of everything around us. So when we say
you may not have heard me, but Allah heard me and when we say
you didn't hear me, but Allah heard me. And when I ask Allah subhanho wa Taala out loud you have a lot of please bless everyone that is watching this and listening to it right now. I mean,
you take part in that and you say, I mean and you enjoy it. But we also notice that if I was to say
that Allah subhanho wa Taala heard me and I called out to Allah in a duel, without even opening my mouth without even moving my lips. You didn't even know what I was saying. You have no idea at this point in time that I asked a lot to shower his blessings and mercy down upon every single one of you. But Allah azza wa jal, Allah Mooji corrib a semir. He heard,
he knows, he knew, and he answers the door of the one who calls out to him. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam tells the Sahaba of the Allahu anhu Allah is not deaf or absent. Right? Just because you can't see a lot doesn't mean that he's not there. For he is with you in his knowledge, right? He is a corrib he is hearing a semir and he is near okati bright so Allah Subhana which Allah is Allium a Samir al Karim, Allah subhanho wa Taala knows what we're going through. Another example from the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
He says, when one of you make supplication, he must not say now pay attention. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is telling us what not to say in our door. So
Don't say this okay. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, when one of you make supplication do or he must not say, Oh Allah, forgive me if you wish.
Show Schauer mercy upon me, if you will.
Prevent provide for me, if you wish.
Rather, make your request definite
for he a law for he does what He wills and there is no one to impose compulsion upon him.
Did you understand that? Sometimes when we make dua to Allah we say yeah, a lot.
Bless me, if you wish. Yeah, Allah forgive me if you want to. Yeah, Allah. Allow me to, you know, make more money if you want me to, rather the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says, Be definite Be specific. Yeah, Allah blessed me.
Yeah, Allah shower your mercy upon me. Yeah, Allah, forgive me for the sins that I've committed in my life. Yeah, Allah, Grant me health and strength, or law, forgive those who are going through hardship and grant them ease and strengthen them and grant cure to all those that are sick. Be specific in your door and ask Allah because Allah doesn't need us to say to him, if you want to, Allah already tells us that he answers our door. He already tells us that he answers our door Hmm. And so we don't need to go and tell him well if you want to, don't ask him or tell him or give him that command, if you want to a low once us to ask him directly, just ask and he will provide. We
also see that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says your Lord is bountiful and generous and is ashamed to turn away the hands of a servant?
Empty when he raises them to him. So when you raise your hands into how the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam says that a law is ashamed to turn you away with your hands empty. What does that mean? You know, and you go like this, you're you're asking from Allah, we only beg from Allah subhanho wa Taala. Right? We only beg from Allah and we are begging and crying and seeking out the help of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And Allah subhana wa Taala doesn't let the hands of the servant who's asking from him
remain empty. When they conclude and when they finish asking Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah. So when you raise your hands and ask a lot into our
trust that Allah subhanho wa Taala l Mooji. But the one who answers the call, will answer it. Why because he is a corrib as well. He is near to us. And dear to us. A loss of Hannah with Anna is so near he's closer to us than our juggler vein, as in a one knows us better than we know ourselves. And he is near to us in his knowledge. None of us should ever feel like we are alone. None of us should ever feel like we are too far from Allah, that he can't hear us and He will not answer our call or our to our heart. In fact, you know, when I go into the prison, and I speak to the inmates and I meet the the inmates that are there in prison, behind those walls, those solid walls that
can't be broken, right, of course, everything in this vignette can be broken. But behind these massive solid brick cement walls with barbed wire and cameras and security and guards and you know, ammunition and all of that,
with all of that in place.
an inmate sitting in the silence of their cell behind those doors, behind the walls, behind the cement behind the rocks in the stone behind the barbed wire behind the cameras behind the guards behind everything raises their hands to a law
seeking the forgiveness of their Lord. And an mujeeb is a semir for he hears the call of the one who is asking and not only does he hear it, and mujeeb answers the call.
So Allah subhanho wa Taala answers the call of the ones
who are calling out to him.
He will never let your hands go empty after you raise them and ask him from his bounties. But my brothers and
Sisters,
Allah subhanho wa Taala when he fulfills the request,
sometimes he gives us what we asked for in this dunya, here and now. And sometimes he delays it for a later time.
And sometimes He will bless us with something even better in the hereafter. You see, not everyone who's going through something, will immediately receive what they asked for, but they will definitely have been answered. So even though Allah is the one who listens and hears a seminar, and he is Albus Lear, and he is corrib. And he is an emoji, he answers the DA, but he doesn't have to answer it for you, and give it to you right now. He answers it, and sometimes will give it to us later. So he has declared that he will give to us when we ask, but when he will give to us, we leave that up to a law. A simple example, someone who's in prison who committed a crime, who is going to
be there for some time, calls out to Alon asks a law to release them today.
Well, Allah Subhana, Allah has the power and ability to make things happen, that that person ends up becoming released. But at the same time,
Allah has the power and ability to delay it to a point in time, because maybe someone is deserving of something.
We leave that up to a law. And the same goes for someone who's sick. As in when we are sick, we call out to a law and our door is accepted, our door is heard, right? When someone is sick, their door is accepted. When someone's going through hardship and difficulty, they call out to a lot a lot doesn't reject that call. But at the same time, he may grant health there and then, and he has the ability like this to change things around. And I've mentioned this to you before, when we go into the hospital, you'll see sometimes people are in a very critical condition, and they come out of it. And sometimes people are in such a comfortable condition. They're being told they're going home today,
or they're going home tomorrow, and everything changes as well.
So my brothers and sisters call out to Le mujeeb. For he will not reject you, and He will most definitely answer. And he is near he is corrib. When we think that we know stuff, there are things that we don't even know.
For example, you went to sleep last night, knowing that it may snow overnight, but you didn't know if it was going to you woke up and corrib sent the snow closer to us.
But what if you didn't?
That's his ability, his plan, his decision. We don't make that decision. Allah make the decision of what is going to be and what is not going to be. Lastly, my brothers and sisters, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam also said and this is something that we can all do, and we should all do.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that Allah subhanho wa Taala comes down to the lowest level of the skies as into the sky of this dunya right sama dunya. So Allah subhanho wa Taala comes down to the lowest level of the skies. How, where, when, what we leave that up to a lot, there's no need for us to explain it. The profits on a longer How do you ascend them says that a lot comes down to this to the lowest level this summer dunya. And
he looks for, and this is in the third part of the night isn't the last third of the night. And he calls out seeking who from amongst his worshipers is there. And so he asks, whoever is supplicating to me, whoever is making dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala right, I will answer them, He will answer the door out and whoever asks from me, then I will give to them
and whoever seeks my forgiveness, then I forgive them.
question we need to ask ourselves brothers and sisters, are we there in that last third of the night? are we seeking the forgiveness of Allah subhanho wa Taala are we seeking our due out to be answered by Allah subhanho wa Taala every single one of us
says we want this pandemic to go away. How many of us woke up in the middle of the night? Making dua to Allah Yeah, I'll make this pandemic go away. Yeah Allah cure those who have COVID-19 yeah Allah please assist those that are having difficulty with breathing. Yeah Allah cure those that are going through difficulties in whatever place on earth they are all love, please remove the oppression upon those who are living in various different countries on Earth, or suffering and struggling through whatever hardships there they have. How many of us are waking up and asking a lot in the middle of the night raising our hands, knowing and trusting that Allah Subhana Allah, Allah corrib has come
even closer
and is asking, who is asking from me? Who wants my forgiveness? Who needs their requests fulfilled?
And Mooji will answer it. But then we also see that when we raise our hands the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam says that I will not let these ends go away empty after asking from Allah Mooji.
So we need to ask ourselves and sisters
who amongst us is actually doing that?
Have I personally been from those who are being described in this lecture today? Am I fulfilling the request of a loss of Hannah boy to Allah? What color of blue come to the Rooney stage even a comb? And your Lord says, Allah says the US or the Rooney, Allah is telling us to call upon him and to ask him
Are we doing it?
You see, we can go and turn to a law whenever we want. But a lot actually tells us to do it.
And that's where sometimes we fall short. My brothers and sisters before I conclude,
and before I seek your assistance with donations for the mustard, remember the brothers and sisters that are in the hospital, in whatever area, whichever, whichever city you're living in, right, whatever region of the world you reside in currently, whether you have COVID-19 in your country currently or you don't want because Mashallah Tabata Kala.
There are people who need our help. And,
for example, here in our hospital, there are Muslim brothers and sisters that are there are non Muslims as well. But we have Muslim brothers and sisters from our community. One of the brothers who, you know, I've been seeing quite often in the last few weeks whose family had requested brother may Raj Han, Okay, brother marriage con, please make dua out for him. We ask Allah subhana wa tada to cure him. He was, you know, up on his feet The last time I saw him just a few days ago, and now he's in the ICU on a ventilator. May Allah subhanho wa Taala cure him. And it's not even COVID related. So there are people who are going through things other than COVID. Please remember them in
your job. There are brothers and sisters everywhere that are suffering and struggling, make do a * for them. And we will make do out in sha Allah who to Allah. But before that, I need all of you to fulfill the sadaqa of the Friday. Right, the sadaqa of the Friday is going to your local mustard website and donating to your mustard, for example right here in Milton.
And I'll put it up in front of you on Facebook and YouTube. You can simply go to www dot qcnet milton.com and donate to the masjid it's up in front of you those who are on Instagram. I know you know the website, just type it in there anyone who's abroad and wants to send an E transfer to our Masjid here in Milton, Joseph Aidan, we will gladly accept that donation as well. You could do an E transfer to iccm
dot [email protected]. And so my brothers and sisters,
we've been away from the mustard for a long time. I mean, I'm here in my office, and I'm actually going to go and step into the mustard prayer area afterwards. But we've we've been disconnected in our hearts desire to come back to the mustard. But just because we can't enter the mustard doesn't mean that Allah has abandoned us for a lot is a colleague. He is near no matter where we are, no matter what we're going through. A lot of corrib is there ready to answer our call, so you don't have to be in the masjid
For you to raise your hands and make dua.
Allah is able to hear us wherever we are. A lot is able to fulfill the rewards that we get by giving that subaqua. Even if we're doing it from the comfort of our homes, you might be sitting there with a coffee or eating your lunch with your phone in your hand or on the big screen. And you simply pick up a device and you go and you donate for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala to maintain the message, the message. So just come a local Hayden for your donations. And please do make it a point today, to give something in donation, give us a DACA. And if you don't have the wealth, if you're going through a difficult time, and I know very well there are many families that are going through
a very difficult financial crisis right now, because of the pandemic because of the jobs that were lost. I noticed just this morning on the news, I saw that there were over 200,000 jobs across Canada that were lost just in the month of January. So everyone is feeling a bit of a pinch.
And it might be more than that. So please, my brothers and sisters, raise your hands into asking Allah subhana wa attallah to accept your son of God and to give whenever you can, whenever you hear whenever you see that there's a need, you share and you assist
Allahumma salli wa sallim wa barik ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi me he was sending him a llama is Islam a Muslim in a lot of mcfeely. And here we are asking and begging from you, Oh Allah, please forgive every single one of us of all of our sins. Forgive us for what
we've done in the past that we are aware of, forgive us for what we've done in the past that we were unaware of, forgive us for what we've done in the past that we have forgotten or we still continue to remember. Yeah, a lot. Please forgive us for those sins that we've committed. Yeah, Allah please cure all those that are in the hospital, brother Maharaj and sister Montez and all the other brothers and sisters here in Milton, and in the hospitals around the world. All of our brothers and sisters who are watching right now some of them have children in the hospital. Our little little girl sisters Elena is in the hospital in Toronto and has been in the ICU
for a number of days now. Yeah, Allah cure her from her illness. Allow that leukemia to go away? Yeah, Allah please make it easy for her to come back to her family. Yeah, Allah make it easy for her to open her eyes to see her parents to spend time with her parents and her siblings a lot please make it easy for her to feel some some days and some months and some years of ease and happiness. Yeah, Allah we know we know that pain is a means of forgiveness. But yeah, Allah sometimes it is so difficult upon us that we feel it when it's going through the veins of someone else. So yeah, last save us and protect us all from any kind of calamity or any kind of illness that is too difficult
for us to there. Yeah, although we know law you can learn from law who Neff son in law was we know very well that you will not you will not put a test upon us except that we are able to succeed throughout that test. But yeah, Allah sometimes our email is weak, and we become weak and we can't bear it. strengthen our email. Make it easy for us to always turn to you. Make it easy for us to never ever turn away from you. Yeah, Allah
be there for us always. And allow us to be there always submitting to you. We know that you are always there for us. But we sometimes are forgetful. Yeah Allah allow us to never return from you.
We asked you and we beg you Yeah, a lot to preserve and to maintain our massage it for many of the massage that are feeling the financial crunch once again. Yeah, Allah allow us to come together throughout
The month of Ramadan, that is only two months away from us, allow us to congregate allow us to stand together and jamara allow us to hear the beautiful recitation of the Quran.
