when I was asked, Can we celebrate Christmas I said obviously not a Muslim cannot celebrate Christmas because it's a belief that Jesus Christ was born as the Son of God as the Savior to die on the cross. In order for God to forgive our sins which were born with, they say this is the Christian tradition of what Adam did Adam and Eve did in Paradise and that he came for our salvation and died on a cross as a son of God. So obviously most

So these converts were in a predicament they've got family who was still non Muslim. And they have a problem every time Christmas comes along. They invite them out of goodwill, to share with them dinner to share with them occasions in Christmas. And everybody is on the understanding that nobody's believing in Christmas. I mean, the Muslims that they say there's a sister or brothers converted to Islam, they have made it very clear to their parents and their family that I'm believing it but what they do what they do it just with the intention of gathering the family.
So they asked me can we can we do that? And I said, Well, if it's a dinner or niche initially I said if it is a dinner for example, Christmas dinner, then there's nothing wrong to attended so long as your intention is just really connecting ties.

I found out that there is a difference of opinion among modern days mushiya scholars but not in the olden day, all the four schools of thought agree that it is actually impermissible even to share Christmas dinner with them.

So obviously, if you share in any of the religious, religious practices that are connected to that belief, and Muslim distributed, whether it be Christian Jews, Buddhism, or Hinduism, whatever it is, anything
that celebrates an occasion of disbelief that is connected to the belief that disbelief, and Muslim cannot take part in.
Now, the Christmas dinner,
people today do it. Next day, third days, second day, fifth day, some of them and a lot of it is considered to be more like a bit of an innovation that Christians have made, they no longer adhere to the actual particular practices. The majority of the world have made Christmas more secular these days. But nevertheless, it's still a Christian belief that people practice today about Jesus Christ being the son of God and dying on the cross to atone for our sins.
So now I say it is safer that it is impermissible to take part in some of them do the Christmas dinner the next day with the intention the families do it with the intention purely really, to attach it to that belief of Christmas.

And try and find a way inshallah in that which is best to keep your family ties if it if it can't be through religious beliefs with them, then at least find a way to connect with them in kindness and let them understand and possibly they will open their ears and maybe we'll open up a dialogue about the the beliefs, and maybe they'll follow you. Maybe they'll be convinced. However, my last pantalla sisters, I mean, all of us go through this me as a Muslim born Muslim, do you think I don't go through that with my Muslim relatives overseas or here, they have some bizarre beliefs as well within Islam, we've had to face a lot of that. Allah says this in the Quran. But this is an aspect of belief in how Muslims are ordered to do things. So there's the majority of the scholars, some modern chefs, as I said, would say there's nothing wrong with it. However, I feel safer to stick by the safe side for everybody. Truly, He is merciful. He even said, within our ability, as much as we can, and Allah says in the Quran for takala ms. portato. Fear Allah, meaning obey God, stay away from the things is forbidden, must bottom as much as you can. Allah does not burden a soul more than what it can be. Try your best and if you falter, any, Allah forgives, so long as you don't
