Altaf Husain – VIcePresident of Yaqeen Institute

			Assalamu alaikumratullah.
		

			This is Haltaf Hussein.
		

			I currently serve as the vice president of
		

			the Yakin Institute
		

			for Islamic Research and, really it's just an
		

			amazing,
		

			dream come true for all of us.
		

			I hope as you listen and you get
		

			to know,
		

			the message of Yaqeen that inshallah
		

			you aspire to join us and,
		

			share the message and share the products of
		

			Yaqeen
		

			with, all of your family and friends.
		

			You know, sometimes when we think about all
		

			the major challenges facing Muslims,
		

			one of the things we take for granted
		

			is the certainty of faith
		

			that somehow all of our children will just
		

			sort of internalize the teachings of Islam,
		

			and despite all of the
		

			attacks in the external environment,
		

			somehow they'll just sustain that.
		

			One of the amazing ironies is that we
		

			push our children in elementary, middle school, high
		

			school, college,
		

			and by the time they're done with all
		

			of that education, they must have read thousands
		

			of pages,
		

			thousands of pages of books and journal articles
		

			and other materials to to understand systematically
		

			the the the notion
		

			of, what is Islam and what are the
		

			key teachings of Islam.
		

			And one of the things I find ironic
		

			is that we don't push them
		

			similarly nor do we provide resources to them
		

			so that they could have that certainty of
		

			faith.
		

			And so Yatin
		

			is dedicated and and we are focused on
		

			producing
		

			some of the state of the art,
		

			studies, if you will, on on the major
		

			topics, whether they're trending or they're not trending,
		

			but topics that are of relevance to our
		

			children and our even contemporary
		

			society, even parents, families,
		

			but more so so that the focus is
		

			on
		

			the finding a message, a source that they
		

			can say, you know, I'm I have a
		

			question about such and such. I went to
		

			the Yaqeen website. I went to such and
		

			such study. Or I was writing a paper
		

			in my class and I needed a resource
		

			that I could cite a paper from Yaqeen
		

			and so on and
		

			so forth. So we hope really that you
		

			will, take advantage of all of the resources
		

			and once again we invite you to, join
		

			us and to support us at the Yaqeen
