So you keep looking for that perfect version of it.
And that perfect version of it, or that perfection, is Allah azza wa jal.
So naturally, we're looking for beauty, wherever we live.
Doesn't matter who we are. But we're always seeking beauty, you seek beauty in your mate, you seek beauty in the things that you own, you seek beauty, and you want it to be reflected in your own image. But you're always looking for beautiful things. So when you buy, you buy the most beautiful thing you can afford houses, clothes, right? You buy them because you need beauty, you have a fitrah looking for it that needs it. And it needs to be around you that what do you notice about beauty
that you seek,
is that it doesn't last, right? The new thing that you buy becomes old.
The beautiful thing that is around you, even a human being right, they age, they lose their beauty. You look at your own image, and you are losing your own beauty. So whatever beauty you seek, right, it's not eternal. It's not perfect. It's not complete, and it doesn't last. You're looking for kindness, and mercy. You seek it among your parents, you seek it with your friends, with your family, whatever. But you will find that that mercy is not always complete. Not mercy is not always comprehensive is not willing to accept you all the time. It can forgive you at times, but not others. So you're always looking. And you can imagine that complete sense of mercy, that complete
sense of forgiveness, where someone can tell you, I forgive you, as if that thing never happened. So in your mind, you have an idea of that perfection, right? And all of these concepts and their earthly manifestations, you have an idea of that perfection. But that perfection fails you
on earth. So you seek the next beautiful thing. And the next beautiful thing, and the next beautiful thing, and it fills you with this satisfaction because none of them can fill the gap that you have. And there's always a gap. And there's always dissatisfaction and there is always anxiety. Where is that thing that's gonna make me fall and hold the thing that will complete this nice satisfy me, so I don't have to seek anymore. I don't have to worry anymore. I don't have to lose this thing. And begin my search a new because now the beauty that I had is gone. The love that I have is gone. The mercy that I have is gone. The kindness the character that I'm looking for that is perfect is
imperfect, and no one is perfect anymore. Where is this perfection? So
Every beauty leads you to another to another and every proof every generosity every kindness, and every love leads you and pushes you towards Allah azza wa jal until you realize I've reached the end. That's perfection. So the love of Allah azza wa jal is that complete perfect love, and every love in the dunya points back to him subhanho wa Taala points back to him in a sense of he is the one who began it and He is the One who created it and he is the one who put it and he is the one who spread it.

And that tells you that that relationship is unique. And that relationship is waiting for those who will embrace it.
We can say that
everything that we love
is a pursuit of meaning. And it's a pursuit of Allah's love. And when you love Allah, and Allah loves you, then you have meaning in the dunya you know where you're going, you know your place. You know what's right, you know what's wrong, when you lose something, you have an understanding of why that loss is there and it's originated or happened from someone who loved you.
For reasons of love,
so they are comprehensive. So the love of Allah azza wa jal gives you meaning in the dunya gives your life a purpose, and it gives you a life and end meaning when I die. There is something that comes after and that thing that comes after is based on loving Allah subhanho wa taala.

Mystery one almost are Hahnemann, the one who's comforted,
or one who's giving comfort with their death.
Look at the look at the opposites. One who's receiving comfort, meaning the believer when they die, and that's the explanation of the Prophet alayhi salatu salam, the believer when they die, they're comforted. And they are relieved of the burdens of the dunya and it's discomforts. So the believer when they died, they move into the comfort and the mercy of Allah as Odin and they leave the burden of the dunya behind. That's one category. The opposite is the disbeliever when he he is
says P they give comfort with their death color yesterday. I mean will Eva do a shadow with the work? He says they give relief to people and to trees to plant life and to animals. Their death is relief.
They the animals feel it.
And the plants feel it.
And the earth fields it and the sky feels it.
So when you love Allah subhanho wa Taala everything around you is in harmony with you.
The animals, the plants, the air, right?
The soil, everything is in harmony with you and you are in harmony with them. But if you're opposing Allah azza wa jal.
You're in conflict with everything around you, and you will eventually destroy everything around you. So that devastation that you see globally, that's an outcome of a conflict with Allah azza wa jal.
When you go against your nature and against Allah azza wa jal, everything on the face of this earth opposes you, and you oppose them, and you will destroy it and it will destroy you.
And not until you go back to what pleases Allah as Odin and his love that you again will circle in harmony, as Allah zodion wants everything else to flow in harmony with his commands. subhanho wa taala.
Now
we talked about seeking people's love, or seeking love in general.
And it's important here to know that if Allah azza wa jal is the source of our love. Seek the love that you want from him, not from the people around you. Don't make people's love primary, and Allah secondary, don't change, okay, the origin into the consequence and the consequence into the origin. What do we mean by this, that most of the time when we do things, we're seeking the approval of people around us, we're seeking their love, we're seeking their affection. If they're happy with us, then we're happy if they're not happy with us, then we're not happy. Allah has lived in a secondary or very absent, whenever we want to consider what we want to do. If you try to please the secondary on Earth, and absurd, the primary was in the heavens, above his throne, subhanho wa taala, then you're going to lose all love, all of it, because the origin will be gone.
But if you please Him subhanho wa taala, even at the expense of people who are around you,
then you will get all of it sooner or later.
So the love that you seek is not among people, the love that you seek is above there.
And then from there, descends here.
So the Hadith of the Prophet Alayhi Salatu was Salam. He said, Malik, tema, sabe, the law he bissa healthiness are all the Allahu Anhu out of the unevenness. He says if you're seeking Allah's pleasure, despite people's anger, and sometimes at the expense of people's anger, Allah will be pleased with you, and He will make people pleased with you.
Women will Tama Sarita nasty, be so hot in LA and if you seek ALLAH, the pleasure of people, though you are making Allah upset, Allah will be angry with you and he will make people angry with you.
So see here,
when we are confronted with a choice, should I do this or that and this Allah loves, but I have someone that I love who's telling me otherwise? What do I choose? Do I dare make him upset or make Allah upset?
That rational and the emotional and the sensible choice would be if I make a human being upset, and Allah still loves me, this person will still love me again. Allah could change their hearts. But if I please the person out of love and I upset Allah azza wa jal, I've lost.
All love and that person eventually will also come back to hate me.
So don't please people in the name of love, because you're gonna lose it.
And trust Allah has zoton Who gives love continuously? I mean, think about it. Every heart
is in the hands of Allah azza wa jal. It's love and it's hate it's affection is in the hands of Allah azza wa jal, it fluctuates constantly and Allah is the one who moves it not you. So you say, haram and he wants me to do haram and Allah does not want that please Allah zodion and trust Him, will I lose his love?
No, they will be upset. But Allah azza wa jal will bring them around. Allah will change their heart, and they will be stronger because of it. And that person will be better because of it. But they will say no, I'll do the Haram because I'm afraid that I will lose.
You forgot that. That love is supplied by him. Subhana wa Tada and you just cut off the supply.
Your mother, your father, your spouse, your child, your friend, co workers, whoever your neighbor, they love you. The supply is here with Allah azza wa jal, you upset him you cut off the supply, and then you think that the love is going to continue.

So No sensible person will do this. And a person of iman will do this except that we are weak and we forget. And this is not an invitation for you to be the rudest person to everybody around you, you still need to take care of people's feelings, you still need to represent Islam in the best, most acceptable way and appealing of ways. Don't be rude to your parents or to your spouse or to your children in the name of loving Allah. No, I love Allah and I don't care about you. You don't want to do this because then they will hate Allah because of how rude you are to them.
So you always want to say what to them. I love Allah zodion. And I want to love to love you.
And I don't want to lose the love that we have between us. That's why I'm doing what I'm doing. So don't express your rejection or disapproval of what they want from you in harsh tones and terms. But also be loving and how you express it because you want them to feel the love of Allah, that I'm not doing it for your own sake. So if ya know, consider and we should consider the love of Allah zodion to the kind of our ultimate goal in life. And whoever is displeasing to Him, you either turn them into someone who's pleasing or you distance yourself from, because they are obstacles on the way to Allah azza wa jal and the love of Allah as we said, defines everything. If you have it, then you have everything. If you don't have it, then ask yourself what is it that you have?
I have a have a human being who loves me. Okay, great. hamdulillah that's an MO from Allah azza wa jal, but then he dies. What do I have? Or I die? What do I have in the grave alone? What do you have?
You are alone.
Nothing survives,
except Iman. And that Iman is based on loving Allah has soldier. So nothing stays. Except that. So if you have a man and you have that love, everything else can feed it. And everything else complements it, and it makes sense. Take the central piece out. Nothing can take its place. You're eating for what you're drinking for what and you're living for what because you're gonna die.
Nothing makes sense unless Allah azza wa jal is there.

and more and more without any
end in sight. So how you inculcate gratitude is to understand or to teach all of us and also including the children that
love of the dunya right is
love of the dunya How would you how would you describe that to them? It's a bit challenging, but let's let's let's to say let's talk about adults, that the more that you love the dunya the less
that you will love Allah azza wa jal, the less more that you focus on it on new things, and need for the dunya never ends, you'll never be satisfied with whatever you have whatever you get becomes old and obsolete becomes
old news and he wants something new to replace it. So there's always more and more and more and this avarice, this greed will consume you and it will kill you. So we need always to restrain it and restrain that by by restraining our eyes and our ears, our senses, and focusing on what benefits us so for always looking at new things, at Brands, at expensive things, that's the thing we're always thinking about. And that's the our only desire, if you restrain your sight, you're not going to be thinking about these things. So you need to divert. So for a for adults, you need to divert your attention from this to something else. And you need to replace your sight, or what you see was
something more useful, something more substantial. So at the level of the superficial, you're always one more. But let's take a look at substance, whether thinking about benefiting other people helping other people donating rather than just buying
this visiting quote unquote,
less fortunate and helping them and seeing how less they have, so that we would be grateful for what we have.
These types of comparisons are useful, but comparisons with the rich are not so diverting attention restricting time on social media, knowing what to see, I'm interpreting what you see right that all this glamour is distracting all this glamour is a test all this glamour is name bounties that will be asked about so Allah will ask you about this new thing How did you use it? And if you're going to buy something new Allah we ask you why did you waste your money on buying something that you did not need, though you could have spent it somewhere else, teach them the value of sadaqa meaning give sadaqa where is your sadaqa going is going to such an such an such famine or earthquake or show them
where appropriate some of these images the need that people are experiencing so that they will feel we have a lot but also there's a lot that we can do. So they're not trapped by their own greed or by their own you know, desire. And meno asked them to do more of Islam. So more of the Quran and it's understanding more of the hadith is understanding because it will precipitate proper comprehension of the world and proper appreciation of what is right and what is wrong in it. So more Hadith and more Quran and more lectures, then in sha Allah this with time will help but restricting access to what is distracting is essential because otherwise you will always want more and more of it. And they break their leg. They go to the hospital, and in the hospital of they get examined, and they discovered that sickness and they receive treatment for it.
Tripping and falling and breaking their leg, would that then be considered in light of that sequence? That scenario? Would that be considered bad or good for them?
But do you think it would be considered good right? Because it led to something that they needed that they could not have discovered unless Allah so did I put that calamity in their life? So Allah azza wa jal, right? For a lot of us if Allah azza wa jal were not to send you trouble. You wouldn't know him. You wouldn't call on him. You wouldn't pray. You wouldn't fast you wouldn't give sadaqa most of us some are fortunate that they don't need these messages and reminders. Most of us are not like that. So if Allah as though did not trouble you, somehow, you would annoy him. And Allah azza wa jal wants you to wants to pull you to him. And sometimes the awakening is rude is hard.
But that's the only way where you would wake up. And I've liken that to having an alarm.
Some people are sensitive enough, the alarm could rest what sound once you're
another person needs to three, and another person needs to be hit on the head to wake up. Right?
That's it. So it's not that Allah has certain needs this, but Allah has certain wants to purify you. Allah azza wa jal wants to take you to Jannah Allah wants to cleanse you, Allah wants to wake you up. Allah does not need anybody suffering. So Allah azza wa jal just simply if we see somebody who is suffering, what lost this, this, this this, understand Allah has that it has a lot of good in store for them. And they need to go through this to understand who He is and understand Allah's mercy and Rama because otherwise would be completely lost. So sometimes you say, and I know it's hard, but sometimes you say that hamdulillah for the trouble that some of us face because otherwise

The etiquettes of phrasing fellow Muslims
now, so it's asking what is the etiquette of praising other Muslims because you may see a person who's pious and you just immediately assume Allah must love them. So, can you make a praise or announcement like this, Allah loves so and so, or what are the etiquettes of raising a Muslim? You have to be careful when praising a Muslim especially to their face, because that could cause conceit and arrogance. Oh, I am that righteous I am that good. I am that pious. So they will take it in and it will ruin them. So if you can write you would avoid it. Unless there is a benefit in it. I think that makes sense. So on a practical pragmatic side, you want to make your products good and you want to promote them right? In the best of ways that are appealing to people. And in that if you're doing honestly Allah azza wa jal loves that. But if you can incorporate like if you promote your product on the business side with honesty and with justice, then Allah as the dual love that but if you can all
So incorporate an intention while you're doing this also for the sake of Allah, whether you know, a portion is going for sadaqa or you have somehow you could tie what you're doing to something pleasing to Allah xojo Then yes, then you have pleased Allah more, then when we understand the consequence of that is that you are be more beloved to Allah and Allah because of that will make people love you. So that also will spread your business and if you're doing it for Allah sake, then there is righteousness in that right? But make your your intention sincere.
What are the bare minimum a person needs to do to know that he or she is right in the right in the right direction that Allah loves them. And that you know, the birds and the fish are making dua for them, what is the bare minimum, the bare minimum are the obligations and the prohibitions? That is the minimum. So if Allah commands you to do something, you do it. And if he forbids you to do something, you don't do it.
And if you do that you're doing the bare minimum that Allah will by which Allah will love you. And by which Allah azza wa jal will have others love you and make dua for you. So that's the bare minimum, but you can graduate, you can elevate be elevated and by lbu, elevated is doing the recommended more of what Allah has obligated. So for just asking about the bare minimum, if you find an obligation, do it without hesitation and know what these obligations are. And if you find prohibitions, avoid them, without hesitation, and know what these prohibitions are in detail. And if you make a mistake, ask Allah immediately for forgiveness and compensate for the mistake that you
have done with is too far with Toba and with sidecar and with salah. Right? It's like pay the price for the best thing that you have done, so that you're not going to be asked about it. When you meet Allah azza wa jal, you're very paid something for it. So do this and you miss an obligation. Do that obligation, as soon as you know that you have missed it and also add additional things to compensate for it.
That's the bare minimum insha Allah and again, this thing will come be in the last.

they choose the prettiest of people, and the most implausible circumstances. And then the most romantic of love stories. And none of these things in that configuration could ever happen in life, you'll never meet a person who just looks at you and immediately falls in love with you and can't stop thinking about you. And then you think my spouse has to be like this, and no one ever in their life, not even the actor, or the writer had ever lived. This is just fantasy. They've never lived this. They're just writing about something that never existed. But they want people to feel that that is normal. So their relationship like basically, if you ever in doubt, look at the person who's
acting and the person who wrote it and the person who directed and look how many people they married and divorced.
And what type of relationships they have. They tell you that they're miserable.
And you believe them. Right? And you make your life miserable because you believe them. So you have to understand that you're being duped into believing all of this. And they were you know you rejecting Allah's NEMA, which is you have a spouse and you have a child, you have a family but you're rejecting Allah's NEMA people get divorced because of this. People get divorced because of the romance they expect to see in their life based on what they see on TV. So it's completely unfounded. So understand that it's just complete fiction for money and they got their your their money from you. So you don't need anything else because you bought the ticket. Or you subscribed you
watched that's what they want from you, and they'll keep supplying that so understand you're being duped and fooled and that you don't want to be a fool. So don't be a fool, right?
