Africa Muslim law fair Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

00:01:03 --> 00:01:25
			So nomadic Muhammad Allah Baraka smilla rahmanir rahim al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen will have
people to live with terpene one or gwanda illa Allah lolly min while Chateau La ilaha illAllah hula,
hula Valley Nevada Reno a shadow under Mohammed Abu or Soto Mustafa al Ameen. sallallahu alayhi wa
early he was a heavy edge marine and mother

00:01:26 --> 00:02:05
			so inshallah Allah for today and tomorrow in these morning sessions we're going to be covering the
life of one of the greatest prophets of Allah subhanaw taala, a name of the Prophet and a story that
many of us are familiar with, at least to some extent and in some regards. And the idea behind these
students inshallah, to Allah is to fill in the blanks to if you'd like weave and thread the story of
this prophet of a lot together from the various passages that Allah subhanaw taala mentioned through
our token and then some of the Hadith that our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam bolts on aerated
towards concerning this prophet of Allah subhanho wa tada and that's because this prophet, inshallah

00:02:05 --> 00:02:46
			tada we're going to be discussing or studying over these next couple of days and analyzing his life
and extracting lessons that we can learn and benefit from, from his example. And from the role model
that he is his Salatu was Salam is the Prophet that is especially relevant to these few days and
weeks that We're now entering into, where very soon inshallah within a week or so going to be
entering into the month of the ledger, as we know, and the month of the ledger, therefore is the
month of Hajj, and the month of the read of Aadhaar, the great or the Big Read. And usually, you
know in non COVID years May Allah subhanaw taala make our affairs easy in a average normal year.

00:02:46 --> 00:03:26
			This is around the time now where millions of people from across the world would have been reading
themselves or already would have started to travel to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj, people from across
the world would have come to answer the call of this prophet of Allah subhanaw taala the call that
he made, that Alonzo will then record for us in the Quran. The stories of all the rites of Hajj and
many of the different aspects of Hajj resonate and come from the different parts of the life of this
Prophet and his family, and he was sent home. And so this is a prophet of Allah subhanaw taala that
it is worth our while worth our time and effort to spend studying and learning about and all of the

00:03:26 --> 00:04:04
			prophets of Allah subhanaw taala are important, all of them their stories are amazing. And what is
amazing about the stories of the different prophets in the Quran, is that Allah subhanaw taala when
he mentions the stories of the Prophet, we have examples, or we have lessons that we can learn
regarding different aspects of their lives and different things that we may go through as well that
we can take from them and benefit from them. So for example, there are certain prophets of Allah
subhanaw taala the story that Alonzo Joel mentioned regarding them in the Quran. resonator only
speaks about the only focuses on their struggles with their nations. So for example, you have the

00:04:04 --> 00:04:41
			stories of the likes of who the artist cinnamon, Sally had, he said I'm unsure him. And he said I'm
throughout the Quran. These prophets usually when they're mentioned almost exclusively, it is only
within that framework, how they dealt with their people, how their people rejected and oppress them,
how they fought with them, and so on that struggle between Eman And between disbelief between Joe
Heath and shark, as it affects a whole nation, a whole people, a whole group, a whole society and
community. But then there are stories of other prophets or the human ceram in which we hear their
personal struggle in life. So the story is not really so much about the nation about the people

00:04:41 --> 00:04:59
			about No, it's more about them and the problems that they went through and the difficulties that
they had to endure. So for example, the story of Jacobian use of rd human serum is a very personal
struggle and story of for example, the story of a YouTuber it is cinnamon his illness is a very
personal struggle and story and therefore you

00:05:00 --> 00:05:33
			Throughout the Quran, different mention of prophets, each one of them focusing on a slightly
different thing, so that we can all benefit from it, for example, because some of us don't really
have a problem, we don't really have an issue when it comes to maybe us dealing with the wider
community is not really an issue for us. But allow us permission before other people is still a
problem. Some people, maybe then you Muslims, they just accept a stamp. Some people live in certain
parts of the world, or certain countries or certain places where this is still a real problem for
them still a struggle. And so Allah subhanaw taala gives them lessons. But for other people, their

00:05:33 --> 00:05:56
			struggle is with their families, their struggle is of a personal nature. The struggle is with their
health, their struggle is in different ways. And even therefore, within the family context. We have
the stories of prophets who have disagreements with their children, profit through their wives,
reject them, their spouses, prophets, who their parents reject them. And so we have all of those
examples throughout the Quran.

00:05:57 --> 00:06:35
			So the Prophet that we have, if you haven't guessed by now, and I think it's very obvious is the
Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam. And the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam is the second most
mentioned prophet of Allah in the Quran, the second most mentioned, Prophet of Allah subhanaw taala
in the Quran. The first most mentioned prophet of Allah in the Quran is the Prophet Mousavi Salaam,
and the Prophet Mousavi Salaam and his story is a very important story and one that resonates very
strongly with this oma and that is why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam mentions the Prophet
Mousavi Solomon Bani Israel in his nation, the children of Israel in many different contexts

00:06:35 --> 00:07:10
			throughout the Sunnah. And that's because we meaning the nation of the Prophet, salallahu, alayhi wa
sallam, we have many similarities, we resemble them in many different ways, many of the, of the
challenges that we're going through that we do go through all the similar challenges that they went
through, and many of the mistakes that we make or the traps that we fall into, or traps that they
already fall into, and that they also went through and many of the ways that we are meant to
overcome this we can also take from the life and the story of the Prophet Musa an instrument that is
what his story is mentioned throughout the Quran in many different ways. And that is also a story

00:07:10 --> 00:07:24
			worthy of a studying and and benefiting from, but the second most often mentioned prophet of Allah
azza wa jal in the Quran is this prophet, the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam he's mentioned around 60
or more times in the Quran.

00:07:25 --> 00:08:03
			And the Prophet Ibrahim, how do you set him is a prophet who predates obviously many of the other
prophets of Allah subhanho wa Taala. He's from the earlier prophets of Allah azza wa jal, the
Prophet Ibrahim Ali Salaam, His story is mentioned throughout the Quran, and a number of different
contexts. As we just said, there's context when it comes to you and your people, or the Prophet and
his people, the Prophet and his family, maybe the prophet and some personal difficulties that
they're going through. Ibrahim alayhis salam, and his story is one that has a bit of everything, has
some of his struggles with his people and with his nation has some of the struggles with himself and

00:08:03 --> 00:08:40
			his family, some of the challenges and hardships that he has to go through some of the other
struggles that Allah subhanaw taala mentions in the Quran concerning Ibrahim al Islam, some of the
trials and the tests that he went through have a very personal nature. And so we take from the story
we brought him and he sent him many of those different facets and that is why loss of habitat as we
will come to see in the first chapter that speaks about some of his virtues. Allah subhanaw taala
speaks about him in a great way a lot of social praises him and Allah subhanaw taala. Showers upon
him accolades and names and titles, or the Salatu was Salam because of his station. It was the

00:08:40 --> 00:09:14
			position of a number of the scholars, for example, that the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam is the
greatest of all lost profits after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. Because we know that
Allah subhanaw taala, made five of the messengers gave them a higher status than the other prophets
and messengers of Allah. And when we speak about the status and virtues of prophets, it's not done
in an arrogant and boastful way. Right? So we don't say, for example, that this prophet spirit in
that Prophet, so that was some type of competition, no, these are virtues that Allah subhanaw taala
gave to certain prophets over others, even though we believe in them all, and accept them all, and

00:09:14 --> 00:09:47
			love them all and acknowledge that each one of them is someone that was chosen by Allah subhanaw
taala for profit one and four messenger ship and that is the meaning of those Hadith where the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to say, for example, no one should say that I am better
than the Prophet Yunus or a salam, even though we know it is part of our RP that our belief, our
theology, that there is no profit better or no person better than the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam. So why then is the prophet and so I'm saying, Don't say that I'm better than the Prophet
Yunus. Because sometimes he leads to arrogance and boasting and pride. And that is something which

00:09:47 --> 00:09:59
			we take away from that. I mean, some of that will come also with the Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salam.
So the Prophet, the prophets of Allah subhanaw taala have certain virtues five of them five

00:10:00 --> 00:10:39
			Have them are known as the owner as the profits of high resolve the profits of high determination,
the profit to Allah subhanaw taala mentions their stories in the Quran and they are given this
accolade in the Quran of being all azim fosse biru. Allah says commanding the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam, and by extension, therefore us, come on sobre la as meme in a rustle, just as the
prophets of high resolve and determination will also patient, those prophets of high resolve of five
our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, the Prophet Ibrahim, the Prophet Musa, the Prophet and the
Prophet, Allah He was salat wa salam, and then the scholars differ, after all agreeing that our

00:10:39 --> 00:11:14
			Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is the greatest of those five who comes on number two and number
three and number four, number five, how do we understand that there was a difference of opinion
because there is no authentic narration there is no verse of the Quran that gives that type of
ranking if you like to those prophets of Allah subhana wa Tada. However, some of the scholars were
of the opinion and a sizable number of scholars are of the opinion that it is the Prophet Ibrahim
alayhis salam, and one of the reasons behind that reasoning. And this is one of the things that we
will learn inshallah, as we go on throughout these two days, is that Allah subhanho wa Taala in the

00:11:14 --> 00:11:52
			Quran, doesn't command us as a nation and as a people to follow the example of anyone after our
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam other than the Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salatu salam. So we know
for example, that we have to obey our profits on a lower and he will send him we have to follow him
as a role model what Allah says up to Allah, how are you Oh Rasul, obey Allah and His messenger.
Allah says, Allah can Allah comfy rasulillah he will sweat on Asana. There is for you in the
Messenger of Allah a great example, meaning the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. those verses
are many and replete throughout the Quran. But after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, Allah

00:11:52 --> 00:12:34
			subhanaw taala doesn't really give that command to us to follow, for example, the way of know or the
way of hood or the way of salt, except for the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam. That command is given
in two contexts in the Quran, to follow the Prophet Ibrahim al Islam as we will see, the first of
them is that the Prophet Ibrahim al Islam is also a good example to follow, but cannot come close.
But on Hassan Ibrahim, I will live in America. There is for you a good example, in the Prophet
Ibrahim Alayhi Salam and with those who are with him. So large social makes him an example and a
role model for us. And the second context is a command from Allah subhanaw taala when he says some

00:12:35 --> 00:12:46
			erotica, and tabular militare Ibrahim hanifa. And then we have revealed to you and commanded you
should also follow the religion in the way of Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam.

00:12:47 --> 00:13:21
			So the story of Ibrahim alayhis salaam is one that is extremely important. We're going to start from
the beginning. Now obviously in the Quran, Allah subhanaw taala. When he mentions the stories of the
prophets, he doesn't mention them in a biographical way. We're not given the history of this
personality we're not told about his birth and his family, and where he lived and what society was
like at that time. No Did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam ever do this for any of the any of
the prophets of Allah subhana wa, Tada. were given snippets of information. And then the rest is
taken either from Israelite traditions, right? Or is taken from historical accounts that the Arabs

00:13:21 --> 00:13:56
			had stories, maybe alterations that they had. And those are the ones that you will find in the books
of Islamic history. The books of Imam of poverty, and even a circle and even Katherine will be dire
when you hire much of the background information. We don't know whether it's authentic or not. But
we also it is allowed and permissible for us generated because it doesn't have anything to do with
halal or haram doesn't make a difference to our religion. Why though it is important to understand,
does Allah subhanaw taala not focus on those issues? Why does he want to tell us the background of
Abraham? Are you Sam? Wouldn't it be nice to know when he lived which era which country, which city,

00:13:56 --> 00:14:35
			what people were like at the time what was going on in the world? It would be nice to have that
information. But Allah subhanaw taala never does it in the Quran. Nor does the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam ever focus on it. And one of the main reasons and Allah knows best is because
without that information, we focus on what is more important. And what is important is what Allah
does mention, and what the prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam mentioned. That is what is important
for us in order to be able to extract lessons. Why? Because as humans, we're often distracted. with
humans, we're often unable to see what is important if we're given a whole load of information. If

00:14:35 --> 00:14:54
			we're given pages and pages of biography, which last lessons do you do you extract Allah subhanaw
taala has made it easy for you. You don't need to worry about anything else. Everything that Omar
mentioned is a lesson and that is the general teaching methodology of the Quran and the Sunnah. So
anything that is not important anything that is considered,

00:14:55 --> 00:14:59
			for example, extra information, anything that's considered not necessary detail

00:15:00 --> 00:15:37
			isn't mentioned in the Quran. By reverse we also then take take a principle from the Quran and the
study of the Quran and the stories of the prophets of Allah because much of the story of this course
and Ibrahim alayhis salaam will be focused on the passages of the Quran. So it's important to
understand these principles. So the first principle is that what Allah has mentioned is an important
the details that are missed out or missed out because they are not important. There is no major
lesson for us to learn from them by reverse. The second principle is that therefore the details that
are mentioned in the Quran, they are important, right? How does that work? For example, let's give

00:15:37 --> 00:16:15
			the quick example of the story of the people of the cave SoTL gaff in the story of the people of the
cave, again, as is usual in the Quran, Allah subhanaw taala doesn't give us any background detail.
We don't know when those young men lived. We don't know which country they came from. We don't know
their ages, we don't really know much concerning their lives and their stories except what Allah
subhanaw taala mentioned. So detail mentioned why the principle is because it's not important. But
then Allah subhanaw taala will go on in the same passage of the story of the people of the cave, to
mention the manner in which they slept in great detail. Allah describes it was in so much detail,

00:16:15 --> 00:16:54
			how they stepped how the eyes would open and close how they would turn from side to side, how the
sun would come and strike the monster sleeping in the cave. Why go through so much detail about the
manner of their sleep, and not tell us anything else concerning their background. Because therefore,
the second principle says that the detail that is mentioned is extremely important. There are
lessons to take from it. In the case of the people of the cave, it is to show a law's blessing and
miracle upon them, that when you turn to Allah believe in Allah trust in Allah subhana wa tada Allah
azza wa jal will will protect you to such detail and with such care and with such benevolence and

00:16:54 --> 00:17:31
			that is the lesson that you will extract. So, when detail is mentioned is because there is a reason
when detail is excluded or not mentioned it is because there is a reason analyze the origin knows
best. So let us start from as far back as we can with the story of Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam.
It is said in the books of Islamic history. And again, as we said, a lot of this is taken from
Israelite traditions, Israelite traditions means that it's most likely taken from Judeo Christian
sources that the Arabs had access to when the Arabs went especially, and they conquered the Roman
Byzantine lands, they were able to access the manuscripts and the books and, and the learning that

00:17:31 --> 00:18:07
			they had, and the stories that they had concerning these prophets, and the scholars from amongst the
companions, and those who came after them, took from them and they read from them and they rated
them. And that's because the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that it is permissible to do so, so
long as anything that said, doesn't contradict our religion, so long as it doesn't go against any of
the principles of the Quran, or the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. However, at
the same time, we don't necessarily believe in everything, meaning that we can attest to the
veracity and the truthfulness of what is mentioned. Allah knows best, but we simply narrated. So

00:18:07 --> 00:18:40
			it's not something that you believe in, and therefore it's something which is allowed, because it's
not part of our theology. It's not part of our creed, and our belief in allowed even our belief in
these prophets isn't changed by the stories, and if it was changed, then it wouldn't be allowed. For
example, some of those sources will attribute to some of the prophets of Allah certain sins that
they committed. And that goes against our principle in Islam. No prophet of Allah commits a major
sin or commits an act of Sheriff that goes against the principle of a law therefore we don't take
those narrations we know that they're incorrect. We know that they must be fallacies. Why? Because

00:18:40 --> 00:19:07
			they go against what Allah and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us, but everything else
is just information and information for the sake of information can be narrated, but it's not
something necessarily that you should believe will put a great deal of faith in Allah knows best.
Anyway, it has said in the books of Islamic history when Kathy you mentioned this before the likes
of even asac and poverty and others, that there were 10 generations between the Prophet Ibrahim
Salaam and the Prophet Muhammad.

00:19:08 --> 00:19:46
			And we know that between the Prophet no Halle Salaam and the Prophet Adam marries them, so we're
working in reverse order from the Prophet Ibrahim to the Prophet. No, he said there were 10
generations and from the Prophet he knew how he said him to the Prophet Adam, and he sent him what
10 generations also now the 10 generations between Adam and no Holly Hema Salaam is authentically
narrated. It is in the narration of Abdullah Arbus or the Allah one human zaharie that there were 10
narration 10 generations that existed upon tawheed from the time of Adam and he sent him to the time
of no hurry, Sarah, and 10 generations people only worship Allah. There was no shock. There was no

00:19:46 --> 00:20:00
			disbelief. There was no worshipping of false gods or idols or dieties. It was simply worshipping
Allah azza wa jal along and shark first appeared and manifested just before the appearance of know
how he said I'm 10 generations

00:20:00 --> 00:20:39
			between them. And then and this is the part that we don't know because it's not our authentic
narration. But Muslim historians say that there were another 10 generations between our new Halley's
Santa and between the Prophet Ibrahim How do you serve them? The question here therefore has been
confused him Allah and others mentioned is what is the meaning of the name generation or the word
generation What does it mean? generation or rune in Arabic Quran? What is the Quran? So some
scholars will say and one of the translations that is given there are two viewpoints The first is
that the word current refers to a century 100 years a century. So when we say that there were 10

00:20:39 --> 00:20:54
			generations or 10 centuries turned around between Adam and no Halima ceram. The meaning of the word
on here refers to century meaning there was a millennia 1000 years between those two prophets of
Allah the second meaning

00:20:55 --> 00:21:35
			is that the word or means generation there were 10 generations between them. Now our generation
depends upon the longevity and the lifespan or the average lifespan of the people of that time right
so for example it is said now for example in the average 100 year cycle that there are three
generations what your one Father yourself and your children are all of you within 100 years cycle
live right so it's very common for example for many young children to still have their grandparents
alive still relatively very common in many in children have their grandparents or some of them still
alive. That's like three generations therefore in a century right that's the common thing now

00:21:36 --> 00:22:18
			however in the time of Ibrahim adding cinnamon before him in the time of no hurry he said I'm and
before me in the time of Adam out he said I'm It seems that Allah subhanaw taala knows best that the
generations of people were much longer lifespan generally was much longer than you know this because
of the story of no hurry. He said I'm a las panatela says, For lobby with a fee him alpha certain in
law comes in our armor, no hurry, he said I'm staying upon his people calling them to Allah stayed
with them calling to Allah for 1000 minus 50 years, meaningful, 950 years. Therefore the generation
of no Halle ceramah their lifespan, and is calling more or less the same people why is not being

00:22:18 --> 00:22:54
			sent to different generations one after the after, after the other it is the same people that have
mocking him and making fun of him, and so on and so forth. And Allah knows best. It is therefore a
generation that is much much longer, in which case, if we take that type of life span of 1000 years,
and that's 950 years of just him giving Dawa of being a prophet of Allah, minus the time that he
lived before that because the prophets of Allah receive revelation, once once they reach generally
speaking maturity. They're not given Prophethood as young children except for the odd occasion or
with some exceptions that they're given, but generally, they've spent time before Prophethood as

00:22:54 --> 00:23:31
			well, growing up and living with their people and so on like our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam, and so therefore the generation of the people or the lifespan of a single generation of
people becomes much longer even Kafeel, Rahim Allah tada says that if we take that second meaning,
which also as you can see, because there is based upon Quran also is also a very strong opinion. We
therefore what we have is that the generations that are 10 are extremely long, we're not just
talking 1000 years now, we're talking possibly generation 1000 years, in which case the generations
between them are 1000s of years and Allah knows best we don't know either way. The point of this

00:23:31 --> 00:24:12
			being that they brought him out he Salam comes after the time of No, and he said I'm even more
hemella law tada says that the from the prophets three are considered to be father's three are
considered to be fathers of humankind. The first of them is Adam Harrison, as we know he is the
father of all of mankind. He is a born bishop. And that is why when the profit of the problem and
the people on your piano on the day of judgment will go to the different prophets of Allah,
beseeching them, to intercede on their behalf, to come and to intercede before agarose gel to begin
the counting of Yama, Yama, they will come to Adam How do you send them first and from the way that

00:24:12 --> 00:24:51
			they will praise Him because with each of those prophets that they come to the praise them, right,
and they speak god of them. And that is from the etiquette so when you go to someone to ask them of
some favor, you speak and you praise them in a way that is truthful, in a way that is truthful and
in a way that they deserve. One of the things that they will say to add the MADI ceramiche, enter
Abul Bashar, you are the father of all of mankind. And so he is the first of the prophets of alario
salatu salam in the first tomb. So he's the first father. The second father is the Prophet no hurry,
he says because everyone that comes after the Prophet no hurry ceram is from his children. And that

00:24:51 --> 00:25:00
			is what isodiol says in the Quran. In the story of the Prophet knew how he said I'm gonna do Rita
who, who will back in and we made the children

00:25:00 --> 00:25:43
			And the descendants of No, the ones who lived, meaning that they were the ones who, who, who lasted.
And so everyone that comes after no Holly ceram is from the children of no hurry sir um, and that is
why he is considered to be the second father. So both of them are fathers in a true literal
biological sense. The third father is the Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salam, and he is considered a
father, not in the biological physical sense, because there are children and and ancestries that go
back to other than the other than Ibrahim alayhis salam, but he is considered to be the third father
in the spiritual, religious sense how, because every prophet that comes after him, is from his

00:25:43 --> 00:26:07
			children, every prophet of Allah that comes after Ibrahim Alayhi Salam comes from his descendants,
either through the line of Izmir, either Eastern which is our Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam,
or through the line of his heart, or he's an amateur sandwiches, the remainder of the profits, the
profits have been thrown in and so on. They come from that line of his heart out, he said, um, but
all of them essentially come from the profit of Ibrahim Hari, from the descendants of Ibrahim.

00:26:08 --> 00:26:47
			And even though for example, you know, the Arabs generally will say that they come back from
Ibrahima Islam because the Arabs and especially those that have, you know, the tribes that go back
to the tribes, the olden tribes of the Arabs, for us, for example, as Pakistanis, Indian Somalis,
and whatever else we may be in our ethnicities, he is still a father for us. And that is why in the
dua that we make in the morning when we from the account of the morning, we say where Allah miletti
abena Ibrahim hanifa. And we are upon the religion and the way, our Father Ibrahim, now when the
Prophet Solomon says this, he is a literal father. When I and you say this, we mean our spiritual

00:26:47 --> 00:27:13
			father, or, for example, our religious father in the sense that every prophet that comes after
Ibrahim or his sermons from his children, from his descendants, and the prophets of Allah, are
considered to be fathers of their people. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is considered to
be a father like figure. It's not a biological father, not real father, but a father like figure
because Allah says concerning the poor, or the wives of the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam was
wired to whom?

00:27:14 --> 00:27:51
			his wives or their mothers. And so therefore, just as they are like our mother, like figures, his
wives than the profits on a long run, he will send them and the prophets of Allah, our Father, like
figures to their respective nations. So we have a very long time between our prophets of Allah what
he was telling me between his father Ibrahim alayhis, salam, but the the Arabs were some well the
people, the people of Quraysh, the Arabs of Jai Healy of the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam, the general Arabs, they lived in the Arabian Peninsula, continue to have the strong
attachment to Ibrahim alayhis salam to the extent where the when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi

00:27:51 --> 00:28:24
			wasallam, conquered the city of Mecca. And he went into the Kaaba, and he destroyed the idols from
the images that he saw was the images that the koresh had made of the profits of the Prophet
Ibrahim, and the Prophet is married. They had made images of them because they continued throughout
the centuries and the generations to have very strong attachment to these prophets of Allah. Allah
him Salatu was Salam and clearly they were free of the ship that they committed during the time and
this is something inshallah, that we will touch upon. Every time, Rahim Allah Allah says that the
name Ibrahim

00:28:26 --> 00:29:05
			comes from the old Surya near the Arabic the language, which is Syriac. It's an Aramaic type of
language that they used to speak. Ibrahim Alayhi Salam didn't speak Arabic, Arabic wasn't his
language. Arabic becomes the language of his marry that we will come on to inshallah most likely
tomorrow when we speak about the story of his marinara. He said Arabic becomes the language of his
married Salaam because the tribe of Judah home that comes and settles in Makkah along with this
Mario and his mother had him Sam, and they speak Arabic And so he learns from them and he marries
from them. And so that becomes his language and his and moreover, so the Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi

00:29:05 --> 00:29:20
			Salam who is before is married his father doesn't speak Arabic. So his name is not an Arabic name.
Its origin is not Arabic even though obviously used in Arabic and has become like part of the Quran
and so on. But its origin is not Arabic. It

00:29:21 --> 00:29:28
			says that its origin is Surya Nia and our make type of language. And it means in that language,
urban Rahim

00:29:29 --> 00:29:59
			Ibrahim means Rahim means father or him means merciful, a merciful Father, and from the
characteristics that we know of Ibrahim Ali Salaam throughout the Quran. And the Sunnah, is that
Ibrahim Alayhi Salam was extremely kind and gentle and loving, and caring, and merciful. And that is
why when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was comparing Abu Bakr radi Allahu Allahu Allah and
to some of the prophets of the past, he compared Abu Bakr radi Allahu anhu also was known

00:30:00 --> 00:30:24
			For his gentleness and his kindness and His love and His caring for people and so on, he compared
him and likened him to the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam, and aroma rhodiola one was known for his
for his energy He is known for his harshness is known for his bravery is known for his courage of a
physical sense. He is compared to the likes of Mousavi serum. So he brought him out Islam is known
for this. And so,

00:30:25 --> 00:30:28
			Tara says, that is the original meaning of the name Ibrahim

00:30:30 --> 00:30:54
			aboon Rahim. He's a person who is a loving father and a caring person and he becomes a real as we
know, a loving father and a caring person. And from his lovingness for his children, is some of the
doors that we will make an and we will give examples of this. So the Prophet Ibrahim and he said I'm
according to most Muslim historians was born in the city of Babylon, Babylon.

00:30:55 --> 00:31:27
			And the city of Babylon in those times was part of the greater region of what we call Mesopotamia,
which today in modern times would be Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, that region was a whole one areas
like one Kingdom or two kingdoms in that massive area, and it was called Mesopotamia. And it lasted
for hundreds if not 1000s of years. And Ibrahim al Islam was born in the area in a place called
Babel Babel today, or Babylon today what was known as old Babylon is today in modern day Iraq.

00:31:29 --> 00:32:06
			Ibrahim al Islam It is said was born. And again, none of this we have as an authentic Hadith of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. But it is what is mentioned in the books of history, Ibraheem
alehissalaam was born in this area. At a time when Babylon was one of the centers of the world. Why
Babylon? At one time, even modern day historians consider Babylon are one time to have been the
biggest city upon Earth. So at one time, Babylon was considered to be the major city on the face of
the planet. So Ibrahim Ali son was born in that area, but it is said and there are different
narrations and stories as to how this happened. It is said that after a while his father migrated.

00:32:07 --> 00:32:41
			And he left and he went to a place called heroin. And heroin would be in modern day Turkey towards
the Iraqi border and so on modern day on modern day Turkey, sorry, that's where they migrated to and
that is where they settled. And he said that that is where with those people that he brought him
out, he said, I'm calling them to Allah subhanaw taala those are the people that he called to Allah
subhanaw taala those are the people that he called, you know, when he has that, as we will see in
the different chapters that we have in the course booklet, the the different debates that he has
with his father and his people. Those are the second group of people that he hosts on that is her on

00:32:42 --> 00:33:02
			the king of Babylon, Babylonian here, and he is like he is the king of the whole area. He's still
the king, but the left for one reason or another, they left Babylon, there was some dispute or
something happened, and they migrated to a another place. All of this isn't mentioned, as we said
authentically, but it is something which is mentioned in the books of history and Allah subhanaw
taala knows best.

00:33:03 --> 00:33:15
			On page number four of the course booklet we want to begin with after giving that brief background
introduction. And I think it's just interesting to know the stuff because maybe many of us haven't
really come across this or heard of this before.

00:33:16 --> 00:33:53
			What we have in chapter one is what we want to begin with, which is some of the virtues of Ibrahim
alayhi salatu salam as they are mentioned in the Book of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And the way that
the course booklets been done, is that it is in each chapter verses according to the order that they
appear in the Quran. So Surah Baqarah verses and there are the memorandum. And according to the
order that they appear in the Quran, that doesn't necessarily mean that they're the order in which
they took place in the life of Ibrahim or de Sena because, as we know, the Quran doesn't do things
in chronological order. The verses of the Quran are not chronological, they're done in order of, of

00:33:53 --> 00:34:30
			what is important to the context of what is being discussed by Allah subhanaw taala and that is why
the stories of all of the prophets of Allah more or less, with the exception of one or two, they are
dispersed throughout the Quran, and they are scattered throughout the different sources and agenda
of the Quran. Because each part that is mentioned in one place, serves a greater purpose in a giving
us a message and a principle. But some of the virtues that Allah subhanaw taala mentions in the
Quran for example, the first one in Surah Al Baqarah altavilla initiate on a regime Allah subhanaw
taala says what you Vitara Ibrahim or abou be Kelly Martin for uttama hoon. Paula in Jerry lucchini

00:34:30 --> 00:34:32
			Nashi mama called a woman

00:34:35 --> 00:35:00
			calling in and remember when Ibrahim was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them, and
Allah said to him, indeed I will make you a leader for the people. And Ibrahim already said I'm
saying and of my descendants and Allah said my covenant does not include the wrongdoers and the
oppressors. Ibrahim Ali Salam Allah subhanaw taala one that one of the greatest virtues that he is
given and one of the greatest lessons that we

00:35:00 --> 00:35:42
			should learn from the life of Ibrahim or you, Sam, is that he is someone who is extremely devote and
obedient to Allah subhanaw taala devotion to a large soldier in the life of Ibrahim trumps
everything else. It is over and above everything else. Ibrahim alayhi salam, there is no one that is
more important to him in his life than Allah subhanho wa Taala not his wife, not his children, not
no one, even though those people and those other things are extremely beloved to Ibrahim early Islam
because his nature is one of being loving and caring and kind and compassionate. Not his father, not
his spouse's, not his children. No, none of these people are close to Ibraheem alehissalaam if that

00:35:42 --> 00:36:22
			means that he has to compromise his connection and his relationship with Allah subhana wa Tada. And
that is why xuejun praises him in this verse and what an amazing presidents that Ibrahim Alayhi
Salaam Allah Tried him with different commands for uttama Hoon, and he completed them all. But
greater accolade what greater virtue or greater praise Can you give to someone except that they
passed every test that Allah put before them? Basically that means that a large vigil gave him
success, that almost pantalla gave him the ability to pass through this world with all of its tests.
And Allah subhanaw taala says this concerning him, and the scholars of Tafseer differ in a number of

00:36:22 --> 00:36:57
			different views as to what is the meaning of the word be kalimat when Allah says that, we tried him
with commands, what are these commands, some of them said that it was the commands of the rights of
hatch. So the things that you have to do a building the caravan of sacrificing the sun and stoning,
all of those things that we will take we take from his story and inshallah we will discuss later on,
that is what he was tried with. And others amongst him said know what he was trying when was all
over last commands and was provisions everything was concluded in this word, because the matter last
commands means everything and the word Kalima in Arabic means words, why that's what it means. The

00:36:57 --> 00:37:33
			translation is commands because that is the Tafseer that the translator has chosen. But other
scholars said no, what it's referring to are the issues of the faith Allah. Ibrahim Alayhi. Salam
was commanded that he should, for example, shave off his underarm hair and pubic hair and trim his
moustache and all of those things that we know are part of personal hygiene and things like for
example, making this thing jar and all of that stuff or chemical Mala. All of this is what Ibrahim
Allison was tested with, for example, circumcision. Why, and the Prophet Allah sallallahu Sallam in
the authentic narration that Ibrahim Alayhi Salam was circumcised at the age of 8080. And he was

00:37:33 --> 00:37:49
			circumcised because that was one of the commands that Allah subhanaw taala gave to him. And for him,
it became a practice for, as we know, all male children. And so therefore, it's something that
Ibrahim Harrison was tested with, despite his advanced age, the point of this being as even,

00:37:50 --> 00:38:30
			even caffeine and others mentioned as being the strongest opinion is that refers to all of our loss
commands refers to everything. Those opinions that we just mentioned, such as the hedge whites are
such as the issues of personal hygiene and the fitter and so on. And it includes more than that,
everything else that Allah doesn't mention to us, that Ibrahim Alayhi Salam went through and Allah
subhanaw taala rather than giving us every single command, gives us this amazing comprehensive term,
Allah subhana wa tada made him or tested him and he passed those tests. So in Lhasa to him as a way
of reward as a way of praise as a way of showing his station in the sight of Allah subhanaw taala in

00:38:30 --> 00:39:11
			the Jerry locale in nursing him ama, I will make you a leader for all of humankind. And this is
where Ibrahim comes from. The Merciful loving Father, Ibrahim al Islam has given this amazing
accolade. What's the next thing that he asks for all a woman the reality, I will learn one about my
descendants. And I mentioned this before that in the Quran, often when the prophets of Allah are
speaking about their children, and their and their offspring, they use the word Maria. And often one
of the mistakes that we have or that we make as parents especially, is that we're very short sighted
that we only think of our children in terms of those that we can see physically before us. So if I'm

00:39:11 --> 00:39:47
			children, I'll make time for my children if I want to, I will make time for my children and
grandchildren. But it's only what I can physically see. Or even if it's not something which I can
physically see, I don't normally go beyond the first generation, my own children, our last one, they
give me pious children, or log him. And we generally even if not by words, by intention, we limit
the meaning of this word, but the prophets of Allah in the Quran. When they speak about their
children, they use the word the rear, and the rear refers to everything which is a descendant,
everyone that descends from you all of your offspring for as many generations as they come. All a

00:39:47 --> 00:39:58
			woman guru, yet he so when he's making dua, and Allah says you're an Imam. The next thing he thinks
is that I don't just want success for myself. I don't just want a large reward for myself, but Allah
woman

00:39:59 --> 00:39:59
			and what

00:40:00 --> 00:40:36
			All of my children of Allah, give it to all of my descendants, all of my descendants give it to them
as well. And Allah subhanaw taala replies as we know when he says, Lion Valley mean that the
represses, don't take from this covenant, meaning what according to a number of the scholars of
tafsir that yes, they will be from amongst your children, righteous people, that will become even
hams and leaders and those are all of the prophets of Allah that will come from his children and
from his descendant as we know, and from them, and the greatest of them being our profits on Allah,
Allah, He will sell them. But at the same time, there will be plenty of people who don't take from

00:40:36 --> 00:41:11
			the covenant, because they are oppressors and wrongdoers. And so if the lack of Ibrahim ceram can
have children and descendants, some of them have believes in some of the Spirit evils, some open to
hidden some upon shift, even though our law said he's passed every test, and he's an Imam. And he's
given him all of the other virtues that we know that the Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi Salam has still from
amongst his children will be those who will turn away from a lost path, then what about me and you?
Right, and to some extent, that should give us some solace. And to some extent, you should give us
some understanding of how me and you don't control everything. And there is Allah subhanaw taala

00:41:11 --> 00:41:14
			that decrees as he pleases, subhanho wa Taala.

00:41:15 --> 00:41:52
			So the Prophet Ibrahim Allah Islam has, as we know from his children, people who are who are not
worthy of being from the Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi Salam because of the shift and the disbelief and the
turning away from the path of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And that's why one of the amazing things if
we think about it, is in the time of Ibrahim alayhis salam o in the time of the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam. One of the things that I often find interesting is to analyze the Quraysh, in the
time of jahai, Leah or even in the early parts of Islam, the Quraysh are the people who are
descendants of the Prophet Ibrahim, and the Prophet inspiring them, their actual lineage can be

00:41:52 --> 00:42:29
			traced back to those prophets, like some people claim that they formed the life the hustle of the
process of them today, and they don't really know and we don't really know they don't really have a,
an established lineage or family tree, these people who is known and established that they go back
all the way to is Marian and Ibrahim already Muslim. So they come from an amazing lineage and
family, the Quraysh. Not only that, but they live by the Kaaba, what how many of us would give
everything that we heard or give, you know, like we say the phrase, give our right arm to go and be
able to be people who live next to the harem. Next to the karma, people who live in Makkah, these

00:42:29 --> 00:43:04
			are people who are born there, and they live there. Not only that, but a lot that made them
custodians of the karma. They don't just live in the area, they actually responsible for it. And
because of them, Allah Subhana, Allah has given them leadership and position and status over all of
the Arab tribes in the peninsula, because simply by virtue of them living by the Kaaba, and they
have things like Zamzam, and they are the people responsible for looking after the pilgrims and the
Hajaj. And all of those things that we know concerning the accolades, the Kaaba, they can go inside
and whenever they want, and all of that stuff that they have. But despite that, despite everything

00:43:04 --> 00:43:42
			that they have, there are people who used to have 360 odd idols in around the karma, that people
used to make idols with their own hands and worship them. And then in times of drought and famine,
they would eat those same idols, because they're made of dates, and barley and wheat. These are
people who, despite that, that Providence if you like, despite having that amazing lineage that they
come from, and all of those different things that Allah gave to them from blessings are people who
sometimes will make the offer on the carbon naked, or allow it to happen anyway. And so these are
people who have strayed so far from the path of monotheism of Ibrahim alayhis. Salam, how does that

00:43:42 --> 00:44:18
			happen? And this is one of the amazing lessons that we learn, I think, from the story. And that is
that the way that that happens is through ignorance is through a lack of knowledge is when people
feel a sense of entitlement. And they don't bother to learn or they can't be bothered to study and
they call that the overtime lose it, you may not lose it, and I may not lose it by lost permission,
maybe not even our children, or our grandchildren, but with the generation. And as time passes, it
becomes diluted and weaker. We take it for granted, and more for granted. And then sooner or later,
2345 generations, people no longer understand it's important. People don't really know what's going

00:44:18 --> 00:44:55
			on anymore. And that is when Shakedown comes and he snatches and in grams and implants and he does
what he does, and he leads people away from Allah subhanho wa Taala. These are the people who always
despite them coming from his marinara he sent him over generations will tend to idol worship, and
will turn to all sorts of manners of haram and evil that they did and allowed within their society,
like the burial, burying children and all of that stuff that we know that the day before Islam and
for the profits on allow it or sell them, even though despite all of that, why it shows therefore,
the importance of not having that sense of entitlement. Yes, you're born as a Muslim. Yes, Allah

00:44:55 --> 00:45:00
			blessed you being by being born as a Muslim Oh by showing you the path of Islam, but that is

00:45:00 --> 00:45:12
			I mean you take it for granted doesn't mean just because your name's Mohammed or Ibrahim or
Abdullah, whatever it may be. That it's something which you can take for granted. But it's something
which you always ask Allah subhanaw taala to allow you to continue to have.

00:45:14 --> 00:45:52
			And the second verse, Allah subhanaw taala is on the next page alaris origin gives us another verse
this time in Surah Al Iran and this is a more general verse that speaks about the the virtues of
this profit or loss. panatela says in the last offer, Adam our new hammer Allah Ibrahima will Allah
imraan Allah Allah mean, Indeed Allah has chosen and the word estafa means to choose. But it also
means to select to, to show special Providence choose a special, if you like blessing to, he has
chosen the Adam and no, and the family of Ibrahim in the family room run over all others. Now these

00:45:53 --> 00:46:27
			four or three of these for our profits, but all of them are from the family of prophets. So three of
the four actual prophets of Allah, for all of them speak about the prophets of Allah subhanaw taala,
or the Mary cinema, as we said, every one that comes from Adam is from his children. No Holly Islam,
as we said, as the second father, everyone that comes after know his from his children. And then we
have the family of Ibrahim, because there's not just one now, it's not just Ibrahim alayhis salam
himself, but it is his family and his family includes himself, includes his sons, and includes his
grandsons includes his great grandsons. Why? Because we have Ibrahim and then you have his half and

00:46:27 --> 00:46:48
			then we have our own. And then you have Yusuf Ali, who salatu salam, those are profits from one line
after another one generation after another. But even after them, all of those other profits are will
come from the descendants, as we said, of Abraham Ali is Salatu was Salam and the family of Emraan.
And Imran is the mother of Miriam, who is the mother of sorry, Ron is the father of Miriam, who is
the mother of three sorry.

00:46:50 --> 00:47:28
			Ron is also from therefore the descendants of his heart. And from Rahim, Allah Himself. So these are
the people that Allah subhanaw taala chose in terms of their virtues. And the family of Ibrahim,
therefore, is one that has an amazing position in this religion, because every prophet that we
benefit from more or less every profit that we learn from every prophet who story resonates with us
from Ibrahim and those that come after him. All of them come from the family, we brought him out, he
said, Man, this verse Therefore shows us the meaning of the first one, but he makes to alpha woman.
It shows you an important lesson that if you're sincere in your dua to Allah, and you ask Allah for

00:47:28 --> 00:48:06
			something, especially guidance, and for the benefits of the next life, and Allah knows your
sincerity, Allah subhanaw taala grants it to you in a way that you can't expect. Ibrahim Alayhi
Salam says Allah make my children watch us. And Allah subhanaw taala doesn't just fulfill his dwara
but he fulfills it in the greatest of ways. And that is from the blessings that is from the mercy
that Allah subhanaw taala gives to us that when you make to our to Allah, and you ask Allah for
something with sincerity and with the man and worshiping Allah sincerely, what Allah gives you is
not just what you asked for, but the best version of what you asked for. You asked for God children,

00:48:06 --> 00:48:39
			watch his children. But if you're sincere, Allah subhanaw taala won't just make them good,
righteous, obedient children, he will make him the best versions and examples of that. Right? If you
ask Allah subhanaw taala for good health or you ask Allah for knowledge or you ask Allah for
whatever it is that you do so in a way that is God and Allah sees that there is good enough for you.
Allah subhanaw taala gives it to you in a way that is best and that is because even though Allah
subhanaw taala may give it to you and he may have tests and trials look at the brain and he said I'm
when it makes us to I doesn't mean that the rest of his life is is free of trial. He has trials and

00:48:39 --> 00:49:07
			he has tests and he has to go through what he has to go through the sentence Merida Islam and all of
those stories that inshallah we will have mentioned throughout the next day or so and tomorrow.
Allah subhanaw taala doesn't mean doesn't mean that you don't have tests, but Allah subhanaw taala
grants you what you ask for in the best possible way that you can expect and that is from the mercy
of Allah subhana wa tada and so Allah azza wa jal praises the family of Ibrahim and his descendants
and from them is the family of Emraan in verse number three,

00:49:09 --> 00:49:17
			or the third example that we have of this is the verse in Surah Nisa we shall las panatela says
woman asks and Will dean amendment as

00:49:19 --> 00:49:28
			well who am I seen whatever I mean letter Ibrahim and Eva. What are the Allahu Ibrahima calida This
is the verse in Surah Nisa,

00:49:30 --> 00:49:59
			Allah subhanaw taala. In this verse, He praises Ibrahim alayhis salam and he says that there can be
no one better than the one who submits themself to Allah. Complete submission to Allah which is
basically where the word Muslim comes from white Muslim. Some people say that it's rude word comes
from the word peace, Sam, and that's possible as well, but also there is another root word and the
two of them are linked also because they have a joint meaning because from the meaning of
submission, resulting

00:50:00 --> 00:50:38
			gives you peace and from the ways of attaining peace in the peace is by submitting by submission. So
last Panthera says that it is from the method of Ibrahim or in some form his methodology from his
characteristics and traits and therefore for us to follow him on that he that you should submit to
Allah complete submission to Allah means that everything that you do you do in the hope of attaining
attaining and achieving or loss pleasure, whatever you do, you ask yourself, Is this something which
pleases Allah or not? If yes, then you do it? If no, then you stay away. And that is literally in
everything that you do, not just in the word rebirth. Why? Because that's something that you have to

00:50:38 --> 00:51:14
			do anyway, the obligatory stuff, stuff that you have to do anyway, this is stuff that's extra, even
in the stuff that's not obligatory, that's recommended. There may even be just general permissible
stuff. If by doing this, is it going to bring me closer to Allah? Or is there something better that
I can do in its place? Yes, it's allowed on is permissible, but maybe there's something else that I
can do which is even more pleasing to Allah. That is the level of submission that Ibrahim alayhis
salaam has, and that's why when Allah says in Surah Baqarah is para la hora boo Aslam. When Allah
commanded Ibrahim and said submit, Karla Islam to your blind me, he said, I have submitted to the

00:51:14 --> 00:51:48
			Lord of the worlds where who were emotional losses in this verse, and he does it to the best of his
ability. He is someone who does it with excellence is not just someone who does something or law
commands him to pray, he prays, but he doesn't really pay properly, or she doesn't really pray
properly. Or when he's told to fast they do, but they don't really do it properly. Mohsin Hassan
means that you do it to a level of excellence, a level of goodness, a level of trying to do it to
the best of your ability, whatever I mean, let's say Ibrahim hanifa, and they follow the original
Ibrahim or Islam. There is a position of a number of the scholars of FCM, as was mentioned, in the

00:51:48 --> 00:52:23
			various books of the series is considered to be one of the statements of a boss For example,
rhodiola and Houma. And that's a petard and a sodium stroke and others, that the reason or the the
cause of revelation for this verse is that there was a dispute that took place between the Muslims
and between the non Muslims. The most the non Muslim said that we held from the Prophet Musa alayhis
salam. And Allah gave him the Torah and Allah spoke to him directly. And so they mentioned some of
his virtues and so we are the better people. And then the Muslim said, No, we have the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, therefore we are the better people. He is the last messenger of Allah.

00:52:23 --> 00:53:03
			And so they were disputing, disputing how also they were disputing. It's also in the way of saying
that one profit is better than the other. So Allah subhanaw taala revealed this verse according to
that narration. And he said, and who can be better than the one who submits to Allah does God and
follows the example of the Prophet Ibrahim and he said, um, and then Allah subhanaw taala says, what
are the Allahu Ibrahima cadila meaning that it's not about simply claiming, sort of by just simply
saying, I belong to this prophet? I am a Muslim My name is, this is what we often do. It is about
proving that you are a Muslim, showing that you are a Muslim, not just simply by claiming it or by

00:53:03 --> 00:53:27
			virtue of name or birth, but by showing through your actions and your deeds, that you are a person
of Islam. And then Alonzo tell mentions one of the greatest virtues of Ibrahim al Islam that is
given to him. And that is what Taka Allahu Ibrahima Hadid and Allah, MIDI Brahim, his intimate close
friend, and we will speak about social automata in a short while in more detail, but I think we will
stop there for the first break

00:53:31 --> 00:54:11
			down from luminol salatu salam ala rasulillah who are early or zombie as Marina My bad. So
continuing on from where we left off on page number seven and eight, we move on to a number of
Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam also mentioned some of the virtues we brought him
on he said I'm the first of them is the narration that is collected in Sahih Muslim where a man
wants came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and he called out to him and he said you are
Pharaoh Berea. Oh best of creation, referring to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the
prophets on the lower end he was Salim replied and he said that Ibrahim, that is or that was Ibrahim

00:54:11 --> 00:54:16
			and he said I mean in the best equation was the Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam.

00:54:17 --> 00:54:59
			And from these verses and Hadith one of the benefits that we can take from them is some of the
titles that are given to this Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salaatu wa Salaam so from the titles that we
know that belong to primarily Islam is the reason why he is hurried the close friend of Allah
subhanaw taala and from those titles, as we will come on to see inshallah Allah surely is what Allah
has which are described him in the Quran has been acidic in the whole cannot see the economy you're
extremely truthful when someone who is constantly and always truthful, and from those titles that we
have is this title here and that is that he is the best of creation or one of the best of creation.

00:55:08 --> 00:55:41
			The meaning of this particular Hadith, Ibrahim Alayhi Salam is he will barrier. We know that the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, as we mentioned before is the best of creation. But you have a
number of these ahaadeeth write a number of these are how these in which the raffle Selim is saying,
Don't say that about me. In fact, even when the professor who said Robert himself, he said, Anna,
say you do what are the other one. I am the leader of all of Adams children, meaning I am the best
of them and the reader. And I don't say this by boasting, meaning that I don't say this in a
boastful way. It is the position that Allah subhanaw taala has given to me, but the Prophet

00:55:41 --> 00:56:17
			sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Don't say that I'm better than us. Right? Don't say that. Some
prophets are better than other prophets. I'm not the best equation that is Abraham. And he said, I'm
Alabama No. Others mentioned that the reason for this is because the province Adam is showing his
humility, his humbleness, sallAllahu, Alayhi, wasallam, especially if the one who's questioning him,
or asking him or saying this to him, and someone who's saying it in a way that is siding, you know,
like it's either showing off or he's saying with with, with that type of feeling of his Baron, and
I'm making competition between the profits and having this competitive streak in nature, the profits

00:56:17 --> 00:56:51
			of Malawi will serve them, we'll put that to rest. Right. And that is a very important principle
that even though someone want more, they might be saying is correct. What they're saying is actually
correct. If it's going to lead to misunderstanding, or the intention behind it, or the manner in
which you said is incorrect, you can still correct it. So the wording is fine. The what he said
isn't incorrect. In fact, we know that it is something which is established from our religion, but
perhaps it was the manner in which it was said, Why perhaps it's the intention or the
misunderstanding, maybe there's people around, they misunderstand what is being said. And so the

00:56:51 --> 00:57:27
			Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would establish these principles as he wants from Allah where it
was set up with other things as well. So that is the first Hadith and so from the accolades from the
virtues given to Ibrahim Alayhi Salam is that he is from the best of creation. In the second
narration, this time in the hadith of Al Bari and Muslim, the Prophet told us that he was selling
our lumen yuxiang lp Amati Brahim, the first person to be clothed on the day of judgment will be the
Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salaam and this is referring to yamapi Yama, because we know on the Day of
Judgment, when people will be resurrected from the graves. Everyone will be resurrected, naked,

00:57:28 --> 00:58:03
			bare footed and circumcised. That is what the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the authentic
hadith to the extent that I shall have the Allah one has said, O Messenger of Allah, how can the men
and women be standing together naked, meaning that in the dunya, if this was to happen, it would be
a place of fitna and a place which wouldn't be very good. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in
reply. I'm aware of a moment either. The situation on the Day of Judgment is more grave than that.
That's the last thing on anyone's mind. The terror and the fear that people will have will be so
great on that day, as we know your major and we will done a Sheba law says that the youngest of

00:58:03 --> 00:58:39
			children, their hair will go white, the woman who is pregnant will miscarry and the people will look
like they're in a state of drunkenness, even though they're not drunk. Why? Because of the terror of
that day in the other biLlahi shadid. For indeed, the punishment of Allah is grave on that day. And
so the terror that people will feel people will be naked. And so the first one to be clothed is the
Prophet Ibrahim and he said, Now this is possible as even 100 Allah tala mentioned is possible that
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam which excluded from that, and what it means is that the
first person to be clothed, meaning from you, everyone else, not including himself, is the Prophet

00:58:39 --> 00:59:08
			Ibrahim alayhis salam. And it's possible that it includes the prophet of Sodom himself as well,
because sometimes Allah azza wa jal may choose to give to certain people, virtues that he doesn't
give to other people, despite those other people having a higher station. That's normal, right? So
for example, we know that from the prophets companions on allawah, he was selling rhodiola one whom
Abu Bakr radi Allahu Allah is the greatest of those companions. But despite that there are other
companions who have certain virtues that aboubaker doesn't have rhodiola one, then the Prophet says
on

00:59:09 --> 00:59:46
			rhodiola one, that if anyone wants to be a prophet after me, it would have been normal. That's an
amazing virtue to have for our moral rhodiola. One, the prophet seldom said about us, ma'am, or the
Allah one, that why should I be shy of a man that even the angels are shy from? Right, that's an
amazing virtue to have. But despite those virtues that are specific to those individuals, and given
to them, perhaps even at the exclusion of others, the general virtue, the general status, the
general position of other companions may still be higher. And that is a principle that we should
understand as well because otherwise it can be confusing. Why especially if we don't have these

00:59:46 --> 00:59:59
			principles, it's confusing sometimes open we know because better so how come our models like this
and how come Ibrahim and Islam has this but the problem doesn't have that and, and that is something
which only takes place if you don't understand these principles, even 100 Rahim Allah, Allah
mentions

01:00:00 --> 01:00:02
			One of the reasons perhaps that Ibrahim

01:00:03 --> 01:00:38
			is the first to be closed on the Day of Judgment is because it is said I mean he was thrown into the
fire Ibrahim al Islam and the story we will come on to shortly in the next chapter chapter two, when
his people throw him into the fire, and he said that he was thrown in naked, and because he was
thrown in naked Allah subhanaw taala as a means of honoring him for the sacrifice that he made for
the sake of Allah azza wa jal, Allah will make him from amongst the first people to be called, or
the first person to be called on Yom Okayama. And Allah knows best but the point is here that is
also from his virtues. The third generation that we have is the notion that is a Muslim, and that

01:00:38 --> 01:01:07
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said in the last talk, and then he didn't come after father,
Ibrahima kalila. Allah has made me a khaleel, just as he made Ibrahim Ali Salah. So from the virtues
as we already know from the verse in Surah, Nisa of the Prophet Ibrahim and Islam, he is that he is
the holiday villa. But also we take from this hadith that our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is
also a colleague of Allah subhanho, wa Tada. Now, there are two terms that it's important to
remember as a mentee near

01:01:09 --> 01:01:49
			Allah saying, the first is marhaba love. And the second is Hola, which is an extremely close type of
love, right? A friend or someone that you have, that you consider to be a friend you love. And that
person is a friend, and you have a good time with them. And maybe they help you and whatever is
there, that's a friendship. If you have a family, that is the person that will literally sacrifice
for you, and you will sacrifice for them. Why the difference between the two is that hola is of a
higher level of love, and friendship. This is the person that you depend upon. This is the person
that you will tell everything to this is the person that when you have worries and problems, this is

01:01:49 --> 01:02:23
			who you go to. And many people perhaps maybe even many of us don't really have a holiday. We have
many friends and we have people around us that we love and and are good for us and we help them and
they help us and so on. But a holiday is the first person that you rely on the first person that you
call the person that you intimately trust. And that is why the Prophet told us on illawarra he was
telling me towards the end of his life, that if I was to take a colleague, it would have been Abu
Bakar the Allah one, but I am Allah Helene, and we have brotherhood between us. So the problem
didn't take him as a colleague. But if you will go into basically saying if I had to choose someone,

01:02:23 --> 01:02:55
			it would have been abubaker why Abu Bakar only Allah one because he sacrificed his wealth and his
family and even his life. He was willing to give up all for the person with the prophecies or need
something. Abu Bakr was the first one they are the Allah. Abubakar is the one, they're at the head
of the queue. And he does it in the best of ways, and he's not shy and is not stingy and is now
holding back everything and anything that the Prophet salallahu alayhi wasallam wants Abu Bakar is
ready to give. And he instills that within his family to the extent that therefore his family know
that this is what it means, right? This is the relationship that they have, they're willing to do

01:02:56 --> 01:03:32
			something similar or to play their part in that role as well. That is hollein. That is hula. And so
hula is of a higher level, someone that you're willing to sacrifice anything for. And that is what
Ibrahim alayhis salam is willing to do for a larger origin, sacrifice anything, whatever Allah asks
will be given no hesitation either. And that is what Abubakar, Allah one does as well, no
hesitation. That's a key key component because, you know your friend is someone who has some people
sometimes they'll be saying, sorry, I can't do it right for a valid reason. Not that they're being
nasty or bad or whatever. No, I'm busy or I have other things. Oh, that's so that's a that's a

01:03:32 --> 01:04:11
			friend. But a Helene is someone who doesn't hesitate, someone who will sacrifice and change and, and
and work around you because they know that your time of need. When you need something, then that is
something which is important for that time in that place. So Allah azza wa jal made the prophets on
holiday, and he made the Prophet Ibrahim Aris Rama Helene, and here's an important point that even
Timmy Allah mentions that often when we're speaking about the prophets of Allah and we say that
Ibrahim Alayhi Salam is the folly of Allah. Then often we say that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam people call him Habib, Allah. And habibollah means the Beloved of Allah, even though the

01:04:11 --> 01:04:48
			level of hola is higher than the level of muhabba, as we just mentioned, and so yes, the person was
beloved to Allah. But to say that as an accolade for the process and more as a virtue of him or a
title for him, as opposed to the holy love Allah which is given to Ibrahim alayhis salam, and it's
actually incorrect. Both of them are of Allah because had Habib of Allah being of a higher place.
The Prophet Sunnah would have mentioned that in this Hadith, Allah made means Habib just as he made
Abraham's Khalid, but he didn't say that he said Allah made me is Helene. Just as he made Ibrahim
Alayhi Salam is hurried, which shows you that that is our higher level. So both of them are from the

01:04:48 --> 01:04:59
			holiness of Allah subhanho wa Taala from the intimate and close, beloved to Allah subhanho wa Tada.
Just as a quick side point for those of you that are watching on the I think the Facebook Live

01:05:00 --> 01:05:22
			If you have any questions, you can send them in we shall learn and Brother Mohammed will will write
them down for me so that maybe in the next session we'll before we conclude for today, if you have
any questions that are related to the topic, obviously, and that are pertinent to our discussion,
then that's something which you can do inshallah, but that's only on the Facebook livestream. So if
you're watching on Facebook, or even if you're watching on YouTube, you can switch over and post on
the Facebook.

01:05:23 --> 01:05:25
			The false narration that we have

01:05:26 --> 01:05:49
			is the Hadith in a telemovie, which the Prophet said some along while he was sending that he saw the
Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam on the night journey, right. And there are a number of incidents that
took place in the nitrogen between the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And between the Prophet
Ibrahim or his son, but this is one of them, we don't have time. Obviously to go through all of
these narrations, there are too many, and it will take too much time. The Prophet Ibrahim alayhi
salatu salam is

01:05:50 --> 01:06:07
			met by the prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam on the seventh heaven. And then there's a number of
incidents that take place from those incidents is that the Prophet Ibrahim already said, he said
this to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said to him, oh Mohammed, convey my salaams to
your nation.

01:06:08 --> 01:06:29
			And tell them inform them that Jana is a ground ripe for growing the fertile field and its water is
good. It means that a sweet good water good for growing and that it is something which is a field
that it seeds. Allah Subhana Allah Alhamdulillah La ilaha illa Allah and Allah Akbar.

01:06:30 --> 01:07:09
			So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was telling us, the Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi Salam told him
to tell us that Jana is a place which is ripe for you growing your good deeds. And it is like an
amazing massive field of farm massive passions of Nanda forest, and it is empty. But for every time
you mentioned on last name, you make Vicar of Allah subhanaw taala one of those seeds will be
planted for you. And that is from the reward that you will get from the vicar of a large ocean. So
this hadith is not only an amazing hiraeth in terms of the rewards of making the carnival law of
constantly having your tongue moist with a loss remembrance. But it is also a hadith that speaks

01:07:09 --> 01:07:42
			about the importance of Ibrahim had his sermon, His love and His care for this oma right and we see
there are a number of times the Night Journey. Musashi Salam has a careful this oma right, and that
is a common misconception, by the way, that just because someone has a strong or harsh personality
was known for the bravery and the courage that it means that they're not loving and caring. And
sometimes we have especially in perhaps in our younger brothers, we have this, this concept that if
you're going to be mature and strong, it means that you can't show any affection. You can't show any
care when you love. Whereas the Prophet Mousavi son who's known for some of those qualities, and

01:07:42 --> 01:08:18
			some of those characteristics and traits. He's also extremely loving and caring for his own man and
for our own man, because he's the one who tells the Prophet Solomon the prayers of 50 times a day
and like to keep going back to Allah and asking for a concession. And likewise, the Prophet Ibrahim
already said, He cares for this oma, he cares for us and that is from the traits of someone who
calls to Allah, and wants God for people that they love for them to come closer to Allah subhanaw
taala. So he's telling the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam this hadith to convey to us he serves
and to give us this amazing reward of making Vicar of Allah subhana wa Tada. Those are the four

01:08:18 --> 01:08:52
			Hadith that I wanted to mention to you and there are many others. And from the descriptions that we
have of the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salaam for example is the one that is collected in a double mo
for them a memorable Hari Rahim Allah, in which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam described
Ibrahim Alayhi Salam as being extremely kind and generous. And that's one of the characteristics or
traits that we know about the life of Ibrahim alayhis salam, when the angels come to him in his
house, and he gives and sacrifices the whole animal for them. And there's only three or four of
them, but he sacrifices the whole animal in terms of hospitality and kindness and generosity. Allah,

01:08:52 --> 01:09:16
			Allah His Prophet, sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, verily the generous son of the generous son of
the generous son of the generous, his use of the son of Your Beloved Son of his heart, the son of
Ibrahim Salatu, was Salam. And he described each one of them as being extremely kind and generous in
their own way. And all of them come from the line of Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam. So those are
the Hadith that I wanted to mention to you.

01:09:18 --> 01:09:54
			Without turn on to chapter number two. And this is the first major part of the life of Ibrahim
alayhi salam, and it is his struggle with his people and his struggle, especially with his father.
And we have a number of passages that we're going to read from the Quran, with the help of Brother
Mohammed in his translation, and these are passages that are taken from different parts of the book
of Allah paradata sortland arm, for example, so mbrs or amarrian. And we're going to not be able to
do a deep and comprehensive tafsir of every single verse and every single part of this of these
passages, but we're going to extract lessons and we're going to try to weave these together to see

01:09:55 --> 01:09:59
			how, when Allah azza wa jal mentions this particular aspect of his life throughout the Quran.

01:10:00 --> 01:10:54
			He's different things to place when it came to the Prophet Ibrahim he slammed his call to his people
and to his father. So last panatela begins with this passage or we begin with the passage of Allah

01:21:10 --> 01:21:11

01:21:14 --> 01:21:21

01:22:05 --> 01:22:13
			eborn on him Allah said oh fire be coolness and safety upon Ibrahim well Rado, me he Caden

01:22:15 --> 01:22:35
			saturnine and they intended for him harm but we made them the greatest losers on a Jaina 101 11
winner Timo canovee journey learn I mean, and we delivered him and lot to the land which we had
blessed for the worlds where we're Herman Miller, who is

01:22:38 --> 01:23:20
			gonna work on john now finally rain and we gave him Isaac and Jacob In addition, and all of them we
made righteous. So these are the three passages that we have that speak about this major part of the
life of Ibrahim Islam and as you can see Allah subhanaw taala in some detail repeats, therefore
elements of the stage of the life of Ibrahim alayhis salam in the Quran. So until then, I am sure
ammonium in in Surah ambia and that is because Ibrahim alayhi salatu was salam, a major part of his
life and one of the main lessons that we learn of his sacrifice and his submission to Allah his
devotion to a las panatela takes place in this incident between himself and between his people and

01:23:20 --> 01:23:27
			especially his father. And so Allah subhanaw taala tells us this and the Prophet told us on a lower
He will send him the Hadith that is,

01:23:28 --> 01:24:04
			in his edible Moo frog, that Ibrahim already said I'm every prophet that came of Allah subhanaw
taala at one time or another was a shepherd and installation he said Ibrahim already Salaam was
centered he was a shepherd and lusardi Islam was centered he was a shepherd. And I as a child was
also a shepherd, some illawarra he was Salim Ibrahim army Islam grows up with his people. And the
prophets of Allah Generally, the prophets of Allah subhanaw taala even before prophet Toad is
conferred upon them before revelation is given to them. They don't partake in ship. They don't
commit ship with Allah subhana wa Tada. So even though they may not know Allah message yet, and a

01:24:04 --> 01:24:40
			large portion hasn't given them the Prophet hood, and conferred it upon them. They naturally dislike
shark and they don't partake in the rituals of their people and the and the and the devotional
practices and the acts of worship that their people engage in. They stay away from them, and from
them are no exception to this is Ibrahim Alayhi. Salatu was Salam on loss of habitat in Surah. To
learn in this verse in verse number 74, he tells us the name of the father of Ibrahim, and he calls
him Amazon with Paula Ibrahim Ali OBE as Zara. And remember when Ibrahim Ali Salim said to his
father as

01:24:41 --> 01:24:59
			amongst the scholars of Tafseer, there is some debate as to whether as was the actual name of his
father, the father we brought him or whether it was the name of someone else like his uncle or
someone else, and that was actually being referred to. And Alonzo Joel calls him father because your
uncle is like your father.

01:25:00 --> 01:25:37
			Why the Prophet told us and Allah while he was saying that your paternal uncle, meaning your
father's brothers are like fathers to you. The position of those scholars is therefore that Azhar is
not his father and resort the father of Ibrahim al Islam that is being referred to here. And this is
a position that some you know scholars in some groups have and it is the position that they don't
like this issue that a prophet of Allah His closest family members, should be non Muslims or
disbelievers. Why so there's many Muslims are uncomfortable with the idea that for example, Abu
Talib died on on Muslims, uncle of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam they find it very

01:25:37 --> 01:26:10
			difficult, right. And some of them will even claim that he died as a Muslim even though the
narrations in authentic so not all disagree with that position. Why they, for example, will not be
happy with the idea that the parents of the prophets are allowed to sell them didn't die as Muslims
why they died before the message of Islam but they died upon the shock of the people. Right? Even
though there are heard either attest to that, from their authentic from the prophets of Allah
Himself. That he said that concerning his own parents, some people are uncomfortable with this idea
how can you have someone so amazing, like the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam coming from

01:26:10 --> 01:26:48
			parents on on Muslims parents who died upon ship. But actually the lesson in that is greater,
because alarms are really showing that Allah subhanaw taala gives guidance to whomsoever He wishes,
and that even someone in the depths of shirk and kufr, Allah subhanaw taala can still lead them to
guidance when we have done in the example of Asya the wife of Pharaoh, Pharaoh in his household is
one full of shock and he confirms himself to have divinity and be a God and be the Lord of mankind
and so on. And despite all of that shell can evil and oppression. His own wife believes in the
message of Mousavi Salaam and she becomes a believer on Allah subhana wa Tada. So the position as an

01:26:48 --> 01:26:55
			imam of poverty and even Kofi Rahim Allah and many of the other scholars amongst the Tafseer. They
said that the position is

01:26:56 --> 01:27:36
			the position is that they that the Prophet Ibrahim al Islam, his father's name was awesome. And so
when Allah says as a hit, and it's actually his father, even though in the books of the lineage and
genealogy, it is said that his name the name of Abraham's father is known as dad otter with the
heart over the heart both of them are mentioned and it is said therefore the answer was his nickname
or his title, but it's referring to the same person as so language and citizen remember when Ibrahim
al Islam said to his father, so how can you take these idols and worship them before besides Allah
subhanaw taala in the Arakawa coma Canfield, the Aladdin movie and I think you and all of your

01:27:36 --> 01:27:45
			people are in misguidance. And then Allah subhanaw taala says will Cavalli cannoli Ibrahima
mallacoota sumati will and therefore we show it to Ibrahim

01:27:46 --> 01:28:26
			we, the realm of the heavens and the earth that he will be amongst those certain in faith. And then
Allah subhana wa Tada. Now goes on to mention this incident from the life of Ibrahim alayhi salam,
when he's looking at the stars, and he's looking at the moon, and he's looking at the sun. And for
each one of them is saying it is possible that this is a lord, this is a god. Why because the people
of that time used to worship the heavenly bodies, or one of the parts of their faith and their and
their theology and their creed was worshipping the heavens and the stars and the moon in the sun.
Okay. And so we have you know, we have different prophets that people somehow engage in idol

01:28:26 --> 01:28:47
			worship, some of them engaged in worshiping heavenly bodies, some of them in worshipping of saints
and, and so on and so forth. And some of them do more than one and from them is the people of
Ibrahim already said I'm the worship idols but they also worship the heavenly bodies. So when they
brought him around, he Sam is looking at them. He said, it was possible that this is a God that is a
God that has a God, but each one of them

01:28:48 --> 01:29:29
			after some time will disappear. Right The stars only remain during the night. The moon only remains
during the night the sun only remains during the day. After that they are veiled and there is no way
for the sun to turn up during the night or the moon to appear during the day, right in the middle of
the day, or the stars to appear in the middle of the day. And so each one has its set. As we know
obey Turner has a set place and time in terms of appearance. So every time they disappear from view,
Ibrahim Aris and I'm says it's not possible that this can be called Why? Because a god is something
that or someone that is all powerful, has control over everything in the universe is always present.

01:29:29 --> 01:29:59
			And that is why believe in Allah subhanaw taala that he is ever living. There is power and sustains
everything that is power of everything. That is all hearing that is all knowing that is all seeing
that Allah subhanaw taala has no need of anything or anyone and everything else has need of him
subhana wa Taala and this is what he brought him and he said I'm missing now the scholars have to
see if they differ as to whether this is actually Ibrahim or Islam going through this phase of a
determining a loss if you like presence and a loss

01:30:00 --> 01:30:34
			right to be worshipped alone is this something where which is actually going through as a process of
elimination in order to turn to Allah's worship? Or is it as a miracle, he might have been confused.
And others say that he's actually doing this as a way of debating his people. He doesn't believe in
this. He doesn't actually say seriously, that the stars are my God, that the sun is the God that the
moon is the god, he's not doing this as a process of elimination for his own personal benefit in
order to arrive to the end result that a large soldier alone is worthy of worship. Rather, he's
doing this as a way of debating his people to show them the error and the fallacy of his ways. And

01:30:34 --> 01:31:07
			that seems to be an Allah knows best in a stronger position that is doing this as mo Navara is doing
this as a way of debating his people. Okay, you claim because the rest of the verses will continue
in that way, as we go on to salt and beer. He does the same thing with the idols as well, okay, you
claim, for example, that this is the one that you worship, then tell us, why does he eat? Why can I
drink? Why can't you defend itself on a benefit? What kind of harm? It's all done to make them
think, right? And that is one of the greatest ways of giving Dawa, and calling people or showing
people the error of their ways you make them think, use their own logic and turn it against them?

01:31:07 --> 01:31:48
			Okay, you say that, then, if that is the case, let's follow it through to its logical conclusion.
And once we do that, you realize that actually doesn't make sense why, and we will see that in the
passagen sort of Columbia. So it's done, not as a way of Ibrahim or Islam being in doubt of a loss
existence, of not knowing about Allah. Why rather, it's done as a way of him debating his people,
and showing them the error and the fallacy of their ways. until Allah subhanaw taala says then that
he says to them at the end of this once they realize that the sun the moon, the stars none of these
can be true gods in the world just to watch he had the forethought and he had what he will auto

01:31:48 --> 01:32:01
			hanifa from the names and from the disruptions that Alonzo will gives to the Prophet Ibrahim already
Salaam in the Quran is that he is Hanif and honey if the actual word Hanif mean someone who turns
away

01:32:02 --> 01:32:38
			turns away and that's why they used to call the you know the in the time of jaggery and the time of
the prophet or settlement before his prophet or the messenger ship those few Arabs amongst them like
what aka A B nofal, the cousin or the God Allah one ha, like Zed, the father of sorry, the mu mu
zero, the Allah and humans, even Amar and others who only worship according to the traditions that
they had we brought him they didn't worship in the idols. They didn't partake in any of those
practices of Quraysh. They used to call them Hanif ease by people who turned away. The Hanif is
someone who turns away from everything towards Allah. Hanif is someone turns away from every other

01:32:38 --> 01:32:59
			path until the turning only towards Allah subhanaw taala and that's what what as usual calls him
hanifa because the Jews claim Ibrahim it stems from them the questions claim that is from them and
obviously we as Muslims claim the same thing and Allah subhanaw taala says he is hanifa Muslim or
Hanif that is Muslim in Newtons only towards Allah subhana wa Tada.

01:33:00 --> 01:33:27
			So, his people then debated with him and argued with him, right. And the end result of that is as we
will see in the passage that we will come on to install to MBR is that they decided that this there
is no recourse in this that they need to that they need to punish him or that they need to get rid
of Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam will hire Jehovah to her junie filler he will put the hand on a
harmful matter Sri

01:33:28 --> 01:33:31
			Ravi Shia was in Arabi coalition in

01:33:32 --> 01:34:11
			the Quran, working for her former Ashraf to him while at her phone and Akuma shock tamila e mail m
units will be or they consult on it's a very beautiful lesson here in terms of our faith in terms of
our belief in Allah in terms of our trusting in Allah subhanaw taala Ibrahim Ali Salaam, his people
argued with him. And he said to you argue with me concerning Allah, when he is the one who guided
me, and I fear not what you associate with him. Unless my lord should will something meaning there
is no harm that can come to me from your gods, your practices your religion, unless Allah had
already willed it for me, meaning it is from a lost control not from your idols and your false gods.

01:34:11 --> 01:34:49
			My Lord encompasses all things in knowledge when you're not done remember, and how should I feel
what you associate while you don't fear? What How should I feel your Gods if you like, while you
don't fear Allah subhanaw taala who alone has the right to be worshipped or how should I feel what
you're doing and your practices and and wherever else when it is Allah subhana wa tada alone, that
is where the worship and you don't care. And this is a common thing about the people have shipped
that Allah Subhana Allah mentions in the Quran even about the Quraysh that they would For example,
when it came to the you know, giving to the given the sacrifices and giving the childhood and giving

01:34:49 --> 01:34:57
			the offerings of food that they would do, they would give some to Allah and they would give some to
their idols. What they gave to Allah they could take from

01:34:58 --> 01:34:59
			and what they gave to the idols.

01:35:00 --> 01:35:37
			Couldn't be touched. So it's as if they're saying that even though they you know, like,
theoretically they claim that a lot is the is the number one God if you like in the theology that is
the most powerful one, and that he is above these other idols. But despite that Allah's rights are
the ones that are always diminished. Whereas the gods who are meant to be secondary Gods sub gods,
or the gods that they will never touch or harm, because they fear of those Gods was greater than the
fear of Allah subhanaw taala and this is what shape does, it plays with your mind and interests,
your logic, until the fact that you treat Allah because there is from the crops of shavon shavon

01:35:37 --> 01:35:53
			makes it in such a way that you disregard that you just respect the you that you will react to Billa
you turn away from a loss path, but when it comes to the false gods, you honor them even more and
above them, Allah subhanaw taala even for those people that claim that they believe in Allah azza wa
jal as the Quraysh dead.

01:35:55 --> 01:36:26
			This is what should have does. And so Brahim was saying to them, how can I fear your gods? How can I
fear your Gods when you don't fear Allah subhanaw taala and he has more right? And he's more
deserving to be feared. And that's what as often says, In the Quran, Allah haka Padre, they didn't
give to Allah His Jew, right? of fear, of veneration of fear of worship of love, and all of those
things that belong to Allah subhana wa Tada. And then Allah describes these people and he says,
under the inner arm and what will be so a man whom will Dolman Allah, Allah whom

01:36:27 --> 01:37:06
			they who believe and do not mix, they believe within justice, those who have security and they are
the rightly guided in the Hadith in Al Bukhari. Sahih al Bukhari Abdullah, even Mr. Ravi, Allah who
answered that when this verse was revealed, the companions felt a burden, a heaviness, because they
said, O Messenger of Allah, which one of us doesn't makes that guidance or their belief within
justice with oppression? Is that a person who is a Muslim that does not commit oppression and
injustice, we all we all do. Right? We oppress people we do. We make mistakes we send we wrong
people that's part of human nature. So messenger of Allah if guidance means that you can't do the to

01:37:06 --> 01:37:41
			you can't be a believer and doing justice, that none of us will be safe on this to the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, No the injustice that is being referred to here and therefore, the
better translation of this verse is the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam what Allah said in the
story of local man, when he said to his son, you're born a yeller to Shrek Billa in nishioka,
lowville manavi Oh my son, don't make shark with Allah for shark is the greatest of oppression. That
is the oppression that has been mentioned that you can't mix your belief with Sure. You can't
believe in Allah and at the same time to to other than Allah sacrifice to other than Allah hope from

01:37:41 --> 01:38:17
			other than Allah in the divine way and so on and so forth. All of that the two cannot merge and mix.
The two cannot coexist. You can't believe in Allah alone, worship and devote some of your worship to
things besides Allah subhana wa Tada, which is unfortunately something which as we know, many
Muslims fall into, right. And it shows you that those same issues of these people heard of old are
the same things that many Muslims fall into today, and that is the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam his prophecy coming true and he said, that we are understanding among Kanaka Blackcomb you
will follow in the footsteps of those who came before you. Just as they made mistakes, and they did

01:38:17 --> 01:38:50
			some of these things and they thought that it was okay. Then there will be from amongst the Muslims,
those who do the same thing and again, the end, or the the main cause of all of this is a lack of
knowledge and a lack of lack of studying your religion or knowing the rights of Allah subhanho wa
Taala. So the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said that the meaning and therefore the better
translation of this verse, those who believe and do not mix their belief with shark, right, those
are the ones who can never be truly guided. No, sorry, those are the ones who will have security,
and they are the rightly guided those who don't mix the two. And that is the meaning of injustice

01:38:50 --> 01:39:27
			here as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam explained in the passages in in Surah margam. We
have another element of the call of Ibrahim, he said I'm to his family, but especially to his
father. And this is his internal calling. So we know that Ibrahim Allah Islam calls all of his
people. And that's what we haven't sought to an arm. And that's again what we will have in total
MBR. But in Surah mme, it is a personal call to his father, just as the prophets are allowed he will
sit him did the same. He made the general call why he is calling his whole people all of Quraysh is
calling them to Islam. But then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam would go and call certain

01:39:27 --> 01:40:00
			individuals personally like his uncle Abu Talib, that's a personal call is sitting with him and he's
saying Oh, my uncle, believe in Allah, especially on his deathbed as the narration mentions when he
came to me he said to him, believe in Allah, except this time and I will do the restaurant I will
ask Allah to forgive you and so on. Just say that Allah and he refused to do so until he died. So
the point here being that Ibrahim, Islam is doing the same. Allah subhanaw taala mentions this
passage in Surah Surah to Merriam because it is an amazing passage. It tells us about the character
of evil

01:40:00 --> 01:40:38
			him out Islam he tells us about the etiquettes of giving Dawa and calling people to Allah,
especially if those people are older than you. If they're related to you, if they're people who are
closer to you, right? It shows us also his sacrifice and what he is willing to suffer in return.
Allah subhanaw taala starts by saying with chlorophyl keytab Ibrahim in the hochanda said the
economy here, and mentioned in the book, The story of Ibrahim alayhis salam, indeed he was a
truthful Prophet, a man of truth and a prophet. The words as we know, is of the highest level in our
religion after the prophets of Allah. Allah azza wa jal says For who like Mr. Levine and I'm Allahu

01:40:38 --> 01:41:17
			Allah, him, meaning the beginner or see the painter or Shahada, he was solid in Allah gives the
levels of people and he says you have the prophets, then the truthful then the martyrs and then the
righteous, so they are above the level of the righteous of the martyrs. The righteous like Abu
Bakar, or the loved one as the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam gave him that position, Alonzo
JAL gives to the Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi. Salam, a similar position in the who can have said Deacon
nebia he was a man of truth. The teacher of our teachers jack Mohammed Al Amina shocked at
rahimullah talionis tafsir. He says that Allah azza wa jal gives him gives to the Prophet Ibrahim or

01:41:17 --> 01:41:49
			Islam, this virtue and this title, because on the Day of Judgment, and the same Hadith that we
mentioned at the beginning of intercession, when the people will go to the different prophets,
asking them to intercede and each prophet will refuse, because they were mentioned, most of them
were mentioned something that they did that they considered to be unbecoming, that they shouldn't
have done until it ends with obviously our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and he accepts the
intercession and he goes into seeds before Allah subhanaw taala. So for example, when they come to
Adam and he sent him He says, I can't intercede because they ate from the tree with that Allah

01:41:49 --> 01:42:11
			forbade me to eat from to eat from, even though Allah has forgiven him for that same Allah mentions
in the Quran. But despite that, he didn't consider it to be becoming. And so therefore, because of
that, he doesn't want to take that position of intercession. When Ibrahim already cinemas turn comes
in the Hadeeth. And he says, No, it's not for me. He mentions the different times that he spoke
mistruths

01:42:12 --> 01:42:13
			and Sheikh Mohammed

01:42:15 --> 01:42:49
			says in his tafsir, that he shows to you in this verse because Allah says he said, the common of
truth, that those lies that he calls lies, or he calls Miss truths in the Hadith, that Ibrahim or
Islam itself says this is what I did on our actual lives. Because they were done number one for the
sake of Allah subhana wa Tada. And they will not lies, outright lies, but people may misunderstand
them. He said something that could have been understood in more than one way, he meant one thing,
someone else meant something else, right. And this will come in the long passage also, that we will
mentioned in the in the story of the birth of his married early Islam was one of those examples, but

01:42:49 --> 01:42:59
			one of those examples will come, inshallah to MBR. And that is the example of when he destroys the
idols except for the big one, and he leaves the axe upon its neck. And when it's

01:43:02 --> 01:43:35
			when these people come and they say, who destroyed our idols? He says, Why don't you ask the big
one? He's the one with the xy, the evidence points to him. And he's not saying that he did it. But
he's asking them a question to make them think foreigner who had come home, this is the one that did
it. Right? They know his is obviously not the one he knows the same as well. And so he did it, he
did it for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala zildjian shows that this is something which is
permissible. And that's why even in our religion, and this isn't the place to go into this. But
there are times when it is allowed for you to even back by to speak evil about someone else, why

01:43:35 --> 01:44:16
			there are certain times when that is allowed. And there are certain times when there is allowed for
you tonight, and those are mentioned in the books of Adam and Eve tickets, but this isn't the time
to go through that now. Allah subhanaw taala mentions in this passage of sort of Miriam, the
beautiful way in which the Prophet Ibrahim or Islam speaks to his father and calls to him. And he
says if collinear be here about him four times in this passage, the Prophet Ibrahim or Islam or
refer to his father as Yeah, but he and others he means Oh my dear father. So when he calls to his
father, he respects him, he honors him. He calls him in the most beautiful and loving of waves.

01:44:17 --> 01:44:51
			Yeah, Betty, Oh my dear father, and then he starts to mention to him for different ways, for
different reasons for different things that would help him or hopefully trigger within him. This
realization that he shouldn't be worshipping these, these idols and these gods besides Allah subhana
wa Tada. The first is Lima, taboo, man is now what are you pursue? What are you going to share? Why
are you worshiping that which doesn't hear that which doesn't see that which cannot benefit you in
any way. Number two, in the UK are the journeymen entering me man.

01:44:53 --> 01:44:59
			I have been given knowledge that hasn't come to you. So follow me and I will take you to the
straight path. The first one is to show it to him.

01:45:00 --> 01:45:36
			What you're doing is wrong. These idols don't deserve your worship because they have no power and no
ability themselves. The second one is to dispel another claim which is something very common amongst
the people of shape or even amongst Muslims in their own way with regards to some innovations or
practices and that is a you're younger than me. How can you know better than me I'm old I'm your
father or I'm your uncle or I'm your elder whatever I am and I've been doing this for the last
30 4050 6070 100 years How can you come to me today 25 years old or 10 years old wherever you are,
and tell me how to worship God right? So I call in some people today even amongst Muslims have for

01:45:36 --> 01:46:11
			their whole lifetime practice certain innovations in this religion and and certain things which are
incorrect and wrong. And all of a sudden someone tells them that actually what you've been doing for
the last 3040 years, goes against Islam goes against upon and and the teachings of the Sunnah of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to accept that takes a level of courage, with a level of
humiliation, a level of humbleness, to say, Actually, I did make a mistake, not just a small
mistake, a mistake that I've been doing for decades, for half of my life. Right? And Allah subhanaw
taala would forgive you for that. If you turn back to a large vigil, that is the simplicity of the

01:46:11 --> 01:46:32
			issue. But the acceptance of the issue is extremely difficult. So the second time we brought him or
his time addresses his father is to dispel this issue that every nation had with their people who
are you to tell us what to do when our fathers, our grandfathers, our great grandfather's our
ancestors have been doing this for centuries. Isn't this what they will tell Lars what it says in
the Quran?

01:46:34 --> 01:46:35
			Quran, Allah, Allah.

01:46:36 --> 01:47:10
			Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, we never sent a prophet to a people, except that there are people said
that we have this is what we find our forefathers doing. Every single nation said the same thing.
And the Muslims say the same thing today, right? When you go to people, people say, say, My dad told
me this, my mom told my eldest drumming doing this, in our village, let me know this for hundreds of
years, what they don't know, they don't have access to any. And this is the type of mentality that
leads to arrogance. This is from the traps of shaitaan. And so he brought him to this palace, I have
knowledge that you don't have, that's the end of the issue. Allah has given me knowledge that maybe

01:47:10 --> 01:47:41
			you didn't have maybe you didn't have access to it. Maybe you weren't someone who was able to seek
knowledge, maybe the culture of that time, and the practices of the time didn't help you to seek
knowledge of your religion, maybe it was limited for you, like many of our parents and elders, when
they came back from the countries and in the villages. And when they come from, they don't have
access to that knowledge. So they just didn't know it's not that they're bad people, they're evil,
they want to do harm. They just didn't know any better. And she thought came to them, and he
whispered to them. But now that knowledge has come to you, it's not a valid excuse to say, my father

01:47:41 --> 01:48:20
			did my mother, it won't be accepted on your monthly Yama. Allah won't say to your father, that's
fine. If your mother did it, that's okay. It is not a valid excuse. And that's why larger Joel
mentioned this a number of times in various ways in the Quran. This is the second thing that he says
the third thing is to show to him the essence of everything that he is doing, where it's coming from
lateral the shape on, don't worship shape on because everything, all of this, that's the essence of
it. That's where it's coming from, you think you're doing good. And that's why changing people's
creed and theology is much harder. That's why a lot other scholars say that changing and innovation

01:48:20 --> 01:48:52
			is harder than changing the sin. Because the person who sins for example, a Muslim that drinks
alcohol, and Muslim that steals or Muslims or commits murder knows that it's Haram. And all this is
wrong. But the designs overcame them, they're not going to claim for the most part, they're not
going to stand and fight until the end to say that actually, I didn't do anything wrong. Stealing is
highlighted in Islam, drinking is higher. And so then I'm gonna make that claim. So for you to try
to change them, you've already accepted word accepted that they sinned by admission is the first
step. And now you need to progress. But the person who's committing an innovation and an innovation

01:48:53 --> 01:49:27
			is when a person does an act of worship, that isn't allowed. It's not legislated. But they think
that it is because they think that it is part of Islam. That is something which is valid, it's a
valid practice and religion, part of the religion, then to change the concept is much harder,
because they don't think they're doing something wrong in the first place, they already think that
they're getting rewarded. And what they're doing is good to get them to understand the essence of
this, that it is a trap of shapen is something which takes more work. And that is why it is harder
to change those back and that is why the scholars have owned the self were extremely strict when it

01:49:27 --> 01:49:48
			came to be there. When it came to innovations in religion, they were so strict Why? Because with
sins, people know what's wrong with innovations they don't. And once it spreads and becomes like
Unfortunately, many of the ones that we have in our time. They're so embedded within the
communities, that you extract them and to change them take so much time and effort and so much hard
work.

01:49:49 --> 01:49:59
			And then the fourth thing that he mentions is that if you don't change your ways, then you will be
punished. Doesn't matter who you are. Doesn't matter. Your relationship to me doesn't matter your
position.

01:50:00 --> 01:50:35
			And the love that I hold for you, it will be punished. You can't there is nothing that I can do for
you. If you don't do this first or take this basic step that is exactly what the prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam said to the people of koresh when he called them out and he named some generations
named some of them Mike, his uncle, like his aunt Sophia, like his own daughter, Fatima, he called
the man and he said, if you don't accept La Ilaha, Illa Allah, I can't do anything for you. It
doesn't matter. You're my daughter, you my uncle, my auntie it doesn't matter who you are. I can do
nothing for you without that statement and belief of La ilaha illa Allah, Muhammad Rasul Allah. And

01:50:35 --> 01:50:44
			that is exactly what Ibrahim alayhis salaam is saying to his father, that if you don't do this, the
end result is of your punishment. But look at the response of Azul.

01:50:45 --> 01:50:57
			He doesn't debate him. He doesn't challenge him in anything that he said. He doesn't say Actually,
no, you got that wrong. Why actually these idols can hear and they can see, he knows the plan. He
knows. So he doesn't bother.

01:50:58 --> 01:51:34
			He doesn't bother challenging him. What does he do? The default response in the Quran in all of
these types of situations is what? We're just going to find. We're going to hear you if you don't
stop we're going to kill you. If you don't stop. We're going to exile you if you don't stop. We're
going to punish you. Barna are on the one hand and turn earlier to Brahim lane Lambton to heal our
German knucklehead Johnny Melia. He said have you no desire for my god so Ibrahim, if you don't stop
this, I will surely stone you. This is his father speaking to his son. I will surely stone you. And
you will avoid me for a long time on Gianni Melia. Melia, according to a number of the scholars of

01:51:34 --> 01:52:11
			the series forever, oh, for a very long period of time. Leave me meaning exile yourself. I don't
ever see you again. Go away from me. Unless you change your ways and come back and accept my
practices. I don't know you, or I'm going to punish you. And we know that both of those things end
up happening as we will come on to insha Allah the passage of surah Colombia, not only do they
attempt to punish him, but they also then end up exsiting Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam Ibrahim
Alayhi Salam is his response his Salah menarik why and that is the first response that a lot houses
no kuranda when people come with that type of thing, you say peace be upon him with a horrible human

01:52:11 --> 01:52:19
			journey, Nepal husana when the ignorant people come, what do you say to them Sarah, with a similar
language out of one who will

01:52:22 --> 01:52:28
			learn of Devin johannine when he people making vain speeches say to them, use actions for you might
not for my son.

01:52:29 --> 01:53:04
			That's the first thing he says. And then he says as Robbie, I will ask a lot to continue to forgive
you. I will continue to make dua for you. And we know that he continues to this jackhammer that I'm
going to show him what Allah says, not only does he do with them, but he doesn't for many years.
Because even when he brought him out, he said I'm late one leaves is married by the harem. Right? He
leaves them in the desert. One of the things that he makes is for his father at that time, so he
means after a prolonged period of time, he's still making this to her. In sorbara him Allah tells us
that he makes his Robin Alfie Lee, what do you worry, they have a law forgive me and my parents,

01:53:04 --> 01:53:42
			Abraham's parents are Muslims. So he continued to make this to her for a long time until eventually,
Allah prohibited him from doing so. Allah prohibited him from doing so. And he said he coming to him
anymore. So then they brought him out Islam changes to as Allah mentions, and he says, What? zini yo
mobifone Allah don't don't disgrace me on the Day of Judgment don't disgrace me on the Day of
Judgment. The Prophet told us Allah, what are your settlement? That is why, when Ibrahim or Islam
will see his father, on the day of judgment, his father will say, oh, Ibrahim, or my son today, I
will not disobey you. Save me today today, I won't go against you. But it will be too late on that

01:53:42 --> 01:54:17
			day. So Ibrahim will call to enhance our Lord, did you not promise me that you will not disclose me
on the day, and what greater disgrace is there for a man to see his father being thrown to the fire.
So I brought him out, he said, his father will be changed into an animal transformed. And it was the
animal that will be taken and thrown into the fire so that they brought him on Instagram, doesn't
have to see that vision of his father being thrown into the fire. But the point is, he is still
punished. And that day, everyone will be willing to obey the prophets of Allah subhanaw taala will
be no good for them. Ibrahim adinstruments further than is told, or he is told by his father, that

01:54:17 --> 01:54:53
			he needs to leave when he needs to leave and so he does so. And a large dogen says that when he did
so, Allah blessed him with children. That is a beautiful point that I want to include the session
on. And that is a look at how Ibrahim Ali somebody said for decades wanted a child and he wasn't
given a child and his wife had grown old why and the larger dimensions is in the Quran. When it
comes to the story of the birth of his hakkari his son m She says her there are Jews who are Jews
who were her body. She heard that Sarah says, I am an old woman and this is my husband. He's even
older than me. How can we have a child decades they waited for a child and Larissa didn't give it to

01:54:53 --> 01:54:59
			them. Allah says here for love matters at home. But when they showed that sacrifice when they were
willing to leave their people

01:55:00 --> 01:55:35
			When they will be willing to submit to Allah leave everything for the sake of Allah. We gave to him
his heart and after his heart We came to me. It shows that when you sacrifice for Allah and he for
Allah, Allah will give you then more than what you want and in the best of ways because not only is
he given children, but children who become prophets and the fathers of profits and profits after
profits are in Salatu was Salam. O Allah is really saying that is all from Allah is blessing for him
when he turned to Allah and he sacrificed for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala Okay, so inshallah
I think we'll take another 15 minute break there. And we'll join back in about 15 minutes

01:55:47 --> 01:55:51
			Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa salatu salam ala rasulillah, he was, he was a marine.

01:55:52 --> 01:56:24
			So inshallah, in this final session, we're going to attempt to complete this first chapter and then
inshallah possibly even move on to the second if we can. So before the break, we covered in this
first section on the life of Ibrahim alayhi salatu salam and in his Dawa, his call to his father and
his people, we cover the passages from Surah, Allah and Iman Surah marimon, we saw in sortland, I'm
the way that is debating with his people, getting them to think getting them to prompt and hopefully
come to the realization that what they're doing doesn't make logical sense level on the

01:56:25 --> 01:57:04
			level on them, claiming that it's something which is pleasing to Allah subhanaw taala or a form of
worship, that will bring them closer to, to paradise or to or to some type of salvation. And then in
the passages where Maria Mui have his personal call to his father, and the respect that he shows and
the honor that he shows to his father. And the way that he also tries to prompt him to come to that
same realization are worshipping Allah subhanaw taala. Long put in both instances, he is met with
rejection, and not just simple or slight rejection, but a very severe a very harsh, painful
rejection. And from the lessons of sacrifice that we see in the life of Ibrahim or Islam and the way

01:57:04 --> 01:57:25
			that he submits to Allah subhana wa tada is the way that he deals with that rejection. Because
rejection is a very hard thing, or even everyday life you're rejected from a job, or interview or
you rejected from maybe a marriage proposal or a business venture, whatever it may be, rejection is
always hard, right? It takes a gives you a blow to your, to your confidence and so on.

01:57:26 --> 01:58:02
			But when it's rejection for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala, that act of rejection itself is an act
of worship, you're coming closer to Allah subhanaw taala. By having that rejection, if the way that
you deal with rejection is a way that is pleasing to Allah, subhana wa Tada. So Ibrahim Ali Salaam,
when he is rejected by his father, he doesn't respond in a way that is evil. in a way that's
disrespectful in a way that is hurtful, he doesn't stop swearing or abusing his father, because he's
literally told him I want nothing to do with you, I've cut you off, leave me I never want to see you
again. Most people will respond in that situation by lashing out by showing some of their own anger

01:58:02 --> 01:58:38
			by venting some of their own frustration. But instead he does the complete opposite. And he
continues to show him even more goodness and want to make up for him and so on. Because the prophets
of Allah subhanaw taala, all of them had a greater vision. And a greater vision is the vision of the
alpha, they don't really care about the petty, you know, like problems that we have in the dunya and
the and the miscommunications or the difference of opinion, wherever it may be that happened in the
dunya. That's not something which matters to them as much as salvation in the next life. And so he
is willing to bear with some of the questions that his father is showing if ultimately leads to his

01:58:38 --> 01:59:15
			guidance. And we see that the profits on the long run he was sent him did this many times. How many
times was he patient with his people with Quraysh with the evil that he did in the oppression and
the torture and the persecution in the hope that one day some of them will all of them would be
guided, and Allah subhanaw taala fulfilled that dream of our profits on lower rd we'll send them as
it comes to the Quraysh so Ibrahim Ali Islam is willing to do the same thing with his father willing
to be extremely patient in the passage the third and final passage in this chapter in Surah, two MBR
Allah subhanaw taala tells us the incident and now that actually takes place so we have is arguing

01:59:15 --> 01:59:54
			with his people, right speaking to them, his discussions with his father. Now this is the actual
event that will lead to his his exile from his land. Allah subhanaw taala says well, Athena Ibrahima
rushed the human Pablo, what could not be here early mean and we are certainly given to Ibrahim his
sound judgment before and we will have him while knowing. And the question here is what does the
before mean? What does it mean before he already had sound judgment? sound judgment, meaning that he
had knowledge that he knew what was pleasing to Allah subhanaw taala he already had that knowledge
before. He is given something what is it that is given before what because Allah doesn't mention

01:59:54 --> 01:59:59
			what it is before. He just says before some of the spells was a position that it's before prophet
what

02:00:00 --> 02:00:38
			Meaning before he was given Prophethood he already knew what he should be doing and calling to to
other people towards Allah subhanaw taala that's one position but the position the second one that
is chosen by the likes of him or him mahalo tada is that it means before even the time of moose and
Harun so we had already given to him the knowledge of this before even more somehow on why because
people are like for example, some other regions claim that there is Musashi ceram the hug this right
had this knowledge or it was easily some Jesus they had this knowledge, a large God showing that
actually know the knowledge of the hidden worshipping Allah goes back all the way to the time of

02:00:38 --> 02:01:02
			Adam at Esalen. So Abraham had Islam already had this knowledge, meaning he knew what is pleasing to
Allah subhanaw taala and that is why it is part of our faith as we know our Creator with theology
that every prophet of Allah call his people to the worship of Allah subhanaw taala alone, all of the
prophets of Allah had that one same central message of right and that is why Allah azza wa jal says
in the Quran, we'll look at the equally swollen and obudu law which

02:01:04 --> 02:01:37
			we sent to every nation of Prophet that commanded their people to worship Allah alone and stay away
from false gods. And so every prophet of Allah had this and Ibrahim al Islam was the same. So it's
not referring to his before Prophethood right, because some people say that passage of surah and
when he's looking at the sun and the moon, the stars to please when he was a child, and as part of
his, as we said, process of elimination and reaching the conclusion of worshiping Allah alone, but
we said that that was a weaker opinion that actually is done in debating his people. And therefore
more is mentioned here. When Allah says from before means even before these other prophets that

02:01:37 --> 02:01:43
			these, the Jews and the Christians and others venerated Ibrahim al Islam was already upon the path
of towhead.

02:01:45 --> 02:02:23
			He says, If God forbid, he will call me him or her the hit Timothy roulette, he unsimilar hierarchy
phone, he said to his father and his people, why are you worshiping these idols? Why are you devoted
to these statues, Paul, who was at the bar and alohar beading, they said, We found our forefathers
worshipping them. And we already mentioned before the break, this is, the most common response that
the people have when it comes to doing shock, is that this is something we find our forefathers
upon, we found our elders upon. And this is something beautiful as a principle of the Quran, you
will find two things. Number one, is that we're told to honor our elders, especially our parents,

02:02:23 --> 02:02:59
			and our grandparents, people that will lead to people generally speaking, your elders are people
that you honor and you respect. But at the same time, Allah subhanaw taala makes it very clear that
they can also be wrong. That just because you respect someone doesn't mean obedience, there is a
difference between the two. And sometimes we become confused. Sometimes it's with our sharks, and
our alum, our scholars, sometimes with our parents, sometimes with our spouses, there is a
difference between respect and obedience, I can disagree with you price should still respect you
might just as a Muslim to another Muslim, we can have differences of opinion, but I should still

02:02:59 --> 02:03:33
			honor you and uphold your rights as a Muslim brother or sister. And that's something which I should
do, when it comes to my parents when it comes to people that are my elders, from my family, and in
the community, and so on my teachers, if I disagree with them, I should also offer them that same
respect. In fact, I'm more right, they're more right upon me, that offer them that same respect and
that same honor, but it doesn't mean that I obey them. When you differentiate between the two, you
realize them because sometimes if what they're saying to you is wrong, it's Haram. They're telling
you do something which you shouldn't be doing. You can still respect them by not obeying them. You

02:03:33 --> 02:03:49
			don't obey them, but you can still respect them. That is what he brought him and he slammed us. He
respect his father and the elders in his community, but it doesn't mean obedience. And that is what
Lars wooden says right? When he says, if your parents command you, Allah says in the Quran, when
jaha dakka dakka be mad, he says.

02:03:51 --> 02:04:32
			If you come if your parents command you to make shirk with me, don't obey them. Also head home after
dunya ma Rafa, be good towards them in your companionship. There was a difference between the two.
And so he says to his people, what is it that you're doing? They say that actually what we found our
forefathers doing is what we are doing, God Allah God quantum and to merbau comfortable Adam mobian.
He said, Have you ever thought that perhaps maybe you and your forefathers, or upon misguidance,
maybe what you're all doing is wrong? Right? Maybe what you're all doing is wrong. Paul? Turner bill
Harkey, I'm antamina Larry bean, have you come to us with truth? Or are you of those who just this

02:04:32 --> 02:04:59
			is their response? Are you like playing around with this? Are you messing around with this? Or is it
actually something serious that you come with? He says rather Rob buco marbles, it will all delete
the photo, Ron Wyden, Allah daddy commercial, he then rather your Lord is the Lord of the heavens
and the earth who created them. And I add to that of those who testify. So he is explaining them the
message of hate, and that's why these passages show that he had already had proof

02:05:00 --> 02:05:38
			It one because he's explaining to them very clearly that they should be worshipping Allah subhanho
wa Taala. So Lars has given him this revelation, and he's saying to him your Lord is the Lord of the
heavens and the earth. The one who created and originated everything and I from from amongst those
who believe in this meaning I testify to this. To this if you like statement of the hate and the
worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala what Allah he like he then na snana combined into one lumens
breed and he said by Allah, I will surely plan against your idols after you have turned and gone
away. Now in some of the narrations, which are Israelite traditions there, these are not authentic

02:05:38 --> 02:06:10
			Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, but they are mentioned in the books of FCM. It is
said that Ibrahim Alayhi Salam and his people were told his people would you to go out on a day of
festival, a festival a day a register of worship and festival. And as they were leaving, he brought
him out he said I'm made an excuse so he could leave. So everyone's leaving the town, they're going
out to some place where they're going to have their religious festival. And they brought him out
Islam makes an excuse and he says I can't go for a reason. And I'm going to return why I'm going to
return

02:06:12 --> 02:06:47
			and that's what the bars which I mentioned so like as as he mentioned in the Quran for color in ni
sapien for color in the supreme he said that I'm feeling unwell. That's excuse that he made and that
means again, that's one of the positions or one of the three things that he said that was from the
untruthful and well meaning spiritually unwell as in I'm, I am not happy with what you're doing and
your practices is not something which sits well with me. Anyway. He makes us excuse according to
some narrations as his as his leaving was his turning away and going back. And there's some people
who are lagging behind so everyone is leaving and he's going back and there's some people that are

02:06:47 --> 02:07:24
			still walking as he's walking past him. He says this what Allah He Kedah know slama combat Allah, I
will plot and plan against your idols after you've left. So some people overhear him making the
statement. Some people overhear him making the statement and this will come later on in the passage,
because they will say there was a young man by the name of Ibrahim, who we heard mentioned our gods
This is what they're referring to according to this generation. So he says this, after you leave, I
will plot against your gods. So large audiences for gyla home Judah, then he made them all into
fragments meaning that he destroyed them all in their Kabir, Allah home, except the large one

02:07:24 --> 02:08:01
			amongst them. Now I let them lie on your own, that they might return to it and question think for
themselves. And so this is what he does. He destroys them all except the major one the big one, the
leader amongst their idols because the idols are many that they have, but they have leaders amongst
their idols, why they have the ones that they consider to be the bigger idols or the major idols are
the leaders amongst the idols, even the aurash had many idols right 360 or idols just in around the
Kaaba, and they have idols on safa and marwah. They have idols everywhere. But amongst them, they
have certain ones that they consider to be bigger major ones, right. And those are the ones for

02:08:01 --> 02:08:38
			example that allow mentions and soda to nudge them for eight to malata, while Rosa woman at a third
is at an aura, or, for example, hubel, which is the one that was Sophia and mentioned and chanted
about on the day, when he thought that they had won and that the person had been killed. He said,
Allah hooba Lee said hubel should be glorified and the prophets are seldom said to him or the Allah
one. rather say to him, Allahu Akbar, Allah is even greater. And so they had these, these idols that
a veneration considered to be from the leaders. So he leaves the big one, the major one, the one
that they consider to be the head idol, and he destroys the rest in some narrations, he leaves the

02:08:38 --> 02:08:51
			axe upon the neck, around the neck of the idol. So when the people return, bondwoman ferula Herbie
early hatena in the whole amount of volume in the shed who has done this to our gods, indeed, he is
one of the wrongdoers.

02:08:56 --> 02:09:34
			Okay, so he asked this question, Who from amongst who did this travel so they come back and they're
stunned, they're shocked that all of the idols have been destroyed. So they start to ask the
question, Who could have possibly done this to our travel gods who could have possibly come in and
taken an axon or a stick and bludgeoned them and broken them into fragments? This is now when they
say call Samir Fattah, you have chromeo call, Ebrahim. We had a young man mentioned them by the name
of Ibrahim. And that's what we said when he's returning calling some durations. As he's leaving his
people. He says, I'm going to make a mockery of them. I'm going to plan against them. And some

02:09:34 --> 02:09:59
			people overheard this. So now, when is asked the question, Who can we suspect who maybe may possibly
have done this? They said, Well, we just heard Ibrahim Say something. But he is the one who
mentioned them. He said he's gonna do something. So why don't we question him. So they bring him to
be here, the uni nurse, they're under hamesha. Don't. They said then bring him before the eyes of
the people that they may testify and

02:10:00 --> 02:10:33
			This is something which you will often find within within the stories of the prophets that they want
to make a mockery. They want to make a mockery of this person, they want to make an example of them,
because they want to nip it in the bud, they want to close off the whole thing. And that's what you
see, for example, when Musashi Sam comes to Pharaoh, what does he do? He throws down his staff just
between Pharaoh and the people that are there. And Pharaoh says, No, this is magic. And we're going
to show to you that we are better magicians than you under your sorcery is weaker than ours. How and
when are we going to do this, wait until it's the day of the festival so everyone can come. And we

02:10:33 --> 02:11:10
			can do it publicly and put you to shame slowly enough that they do a one on one, they want everyone
to be there and show. And this is what they often do. This is what often a larger dimensions is one
of the tactics that they have to make a mockery to use. If you like public sentiment to propaganda,
whatever you want to call it, these are the terms that you will find. And so that is also one of the
challenges that you have, right? People always calling you or people in public making fun of you
people, you know, laughing are you this is also part of the struggles of the hate of worshipping
Allah subhanaw taala. And part of the sacrifice, part of submitting to Allah subhanaw taala is being

02:11:10 --> 02:11:42
			willing is the willingness to be patient with them to know that you are worshiping and pleasing
Allah subhanaw taala. And that even if everyone else is upset, or they don't like it, or they're
going to disagree, or they're going to call you out, or they're going to make fun of you, all of
that pales in significance when it comes to the pleasure of Allah subhana wa Tada. And that is why
the Prophet told us on lower it was really that amazing Hadith, that our prophet will come on the
Day of Judgment with only three followers. A prophet with only two follows a prophet with a single
follower. And a prophet of Allah will come on the Day of Judgment without anyone having followed

02:11:42 --> 02:12:20
			them. There's still no prophet of Allah, Allah has given them that station and that place, but no
one accepted their message, which basically means that the people turned away them in front of them,
they mock them, they didn't whatever, not a single person believed. But that is part of being
someone who submits to Allah subhanaw taala, especially as we come now towards the latter times. As
yarmulke, Yama gets closer, as people lose the idea or their sense of morals of Islam and and their,
their identity as Muslims and it becomes weaker and weaker because people have become so engrossed
in their life in the dunya that they become distracted, that they've become weaker and generally

02:12:20 --> 02:12:58
			speaking society, people are moving away from faith and religion and then moving into other things,
that becomes harder and harder and that is why the person when he said that was end of time holding
on to solution will be like holding on to red hot coals. He didn't just say that as an example. It
is literally as as hard as it is as having a red hot, cold in the palm of your hand and holding on
to a tiny, the pain, the difficulty, the discipline that it takes the stamina all of this is needed
when it comes to worshipping Allah subhanaw taala during those times, so they want to make a mockery
of Ibrahim alayhis salaam snoring after they brought him out. He said I'm simply came and he wanted

02:12:58 --> 02:13:33
			to worship Allah subhana wa Tada. Didn't Ibrahim and then the Prophet salallahu alayhi wa sallam,
sometimes when they would punish him or they will try to persecute and harm him. Abubakar rhodiola
one would come and He will say to them, I talked to Dr. Luna Rajan and your caller, OBL Robbie,
Allah are you killing someone's and fighting someone simply because he says I want to worship in law
alone. That's what the man the believing man from the family of all the people of Pharaoh said when
they were doing the thing to Mousavi certain that's what it's taking from the verse in the Quran,
attack toluna rajala Yakuza Robbie Allah, are you seriously going to kill him? Because he says he

02:13:33 --> 02:14:12
			wants to worship Allah alone. That's his only thing. He doesn't want your money. He doesn't want
fame, doesn't want power doesn't want your daughters in marriage doesn't want anything. All he wants
is to worship Allah alone. Is it literally like that, that's how bad it is. And so this is something
which you find that Allah Subhana Allah mentions a number of times in the Quran, called an
interferometer her early hatena Ibrahim him. They said, Oh, Ibrahim, are you the one who did this to
our gods? Or Ibrahim? Are you the one who did this to our gods? And so now comes the accusation from
his people. Ibrahim Ali Salaam says boilable for Allah who can be Rome harder for a lumen can

02:14:12 --> 02:14:47
			William take on? He said rather this the largest of them did it. So ask them if they should be able
to speak and this is one of the three instances in which the Prophet Ibrahim Alayhi Salam spoke to
miss truth for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And so it's known they know the truth and he
knows the truth, but just to show them or just to show them that what they are following is false.
It is the big one here. Why don't you ask him He is the one with the axe around its neck. This is
the one that's in charge. This is the one that you worship. This is the one that you claim can give
you all good and protect you from all harm and is wanting to show them the simple thing that they

02:14:47 --> 02:15:00
			can't even protect themselves. How can they help you? If someone can provide for itself? Someone
can't help itself someone? How can they possibly do anything for you when they have no ability to
take

02:15:00 --> 02:15:40
			Even a fly away from themselves. Right? That is one last panel data says in the Quran, white men, he
says that even if all of them were to come together, all of them to come to the concrete, even a
fly, every God, every diet, every person, everyone, if they were to come together, they couldn't
even create a fly, let alone help a little known protect and let alone give and bestow and often
order those other things. And so Allah subhanaw taala that's why the scholars say that from the
greatest of names of Allah azza wa jal from the most comprehensive is the name that Allah is which
will game to himself in ayatul kursi, that is a high yield. And high is the ever living, because

02:15:40 --> 02:16:11
			anything that becomes ill, anything that dies, anything that becomes sick, anything that has any
type of weakness can be a god. And then a human is the one that is self sufficient, and then
provides and suffices everything else. Because anyone that depends on anyone else, or something else
for food or for drink or for sustenance, or for any type of life, then that thing is also inherently
weak. And we we declare Allah subhanaw taala to be above and free from any deficiencies and weaken
subhanho wa Taala.

02:16:12 --> 02:16:52
			So they, he's told them, right, this is your God, you claim God worship God asked him as to what
what took place, and who did what, for Raja ILA and forcing him for Carlo in nakum, and tomo Valley
moon, so they return to blaming themselves and said to each other, indeed, you have the wrong doors
because he's caught the manner by another step is given them a challenge. And now they have only one
of two ways. Either they admit that this code is weak that it doesn't know that it has no way to
talk that it has no way to speak that it can't do anything. Or they prove that it can do some
talking right? Oh, they prove that it can that it was the one that did they just accept it and Okay,

02:16:52 --> 02:17:28
			that's fine. It has powers and it didn't like the gods and so in destroy either way, they're stuck.
The second one is not a good option. Why would a god destroy the gods *, when those other gods
weren't really and it causes all sorts of problems? Or the first one is that actually we can't speak
to it because and either way, there are no problem, right, and this is what Ibrahim wanted to put
them in. But it also shows you how when shaytaan misguide someone, and how when that person's heart
is covered in misguidance, it is only the mercy of a loss of data that can save them and his
guidance. Because even despite seeing some of the greatest signs, those people don't believe some of

02:17:28 --> 02:18:03
			the great signs and they will still not believe and that's something you'll find throughout the
Koran. Most early sermon Pharaoh how many signs was he shown how many times that most artists would
come to him and give him miracle upon miracle upon miracle, but still didn't believe how many of the
Quraysh died upon conference upon disbelief in the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
despite the Quran, and despite all of the miracles and the signs that they were given. And so it
shows how deeply embedded how dangerous shark is, and that is why, and our religion, it is something
which is so important to study up either your belief, your theology, and its opposite the harms and

02:18:03 --> 02:18:36
			the dangers of shelf. And one of the problems in our time is the whole concept of the whole idea of
studying theology. And Peter is considered to be a dry subject, a mundane subject. And it's because
of that, that people have fallen into so many errors when it comes to the belief in Allah subhanaw
taala. And they believe in the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in their belief on things like
the Day of Judgment, and angels, and so on and so forth. Because they've become, we've diluted our
understanding of our art either. Things have become so weak and diluted, that we don't really
understand the importance of these issues, and we don't really study them, and we don't really teach

02:18:36 --> 02:19:07
			them. And if someone is teaching them or, or speaking about them, then it's considered to be a topic
that's not really relevant anymore. There is nothing more relevant than this. Doesn't every story of
the Quran of the prophets of Allah more or less, without exception revolve around the central topic
of the tauheed of Las panatela. Because that is how dangerous shark is nothing else matters. If a
person has shark, nothing else can save them. And if a person has towhead, that nothing else can
harm them. And that is the importance of understanding this topic. So monokey su,

02:19:09 --> 02:19:10
			naka de la.

02:19:11 --> 02:19:46
			So they had to make a decision either way, so they make a decision. They reverted themselves saying,
you know that these things can speak, you know that these idols, these statues don't speak, they had
to say something, they have to give him a response. So rather than blaming it on the major either,
which causes them more problems, they said, Okay, we'll accept the first one. You know, we can't
speak to it, you know, we can't speak content back to us. And even though that triggered them, it
should have asked me to ask the question as to why they were worshipping. That is what obstinance
and arrogance does. arrogance and obstinance makes a person turn away from the truth and turn to

02:19:46 --> 02:19:59
			something which is wrong. And that is why when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was asked
about cable pride, he said, cable is bottle Huck. It is to reject the truth and to look down upon
others. rejection of the truth is what arrogant arrogance does even

02:20:00 --> 02:20:40
			staring you in the face, you turn away from it. And that is what the people of Ibrahim alayhis salam
do? Ba f a terrible dude. I mean, Daniela malah and federal commission, and what are the rochen? He
said, Then do you worship instead of Allah, that which does not benefit you at all or harm you? So
he's going to ask them another question. They've just admitted that we can't ask the idol doesn't
speak doesn't talk. So you say, Okay, so then why do you worship it? Why do you worship something
that can benefit you, the car home, because the whole idea of worship is that you worship that which
can benefit and harm you, that which gives reward, or as punishment, that which controls life and

02:20:40 --> 02:21:16
			death, that which can benefit and harm? These are the main reasons why you worship. But if nothing
has no ability, right? It's like this, this podium, or a chair or a table? Why on earth would you
worship it? And so therefore, why do you worship that which cannot benefit you and kind of harm you?
And he doesn't say, as he said, You know, it doesn't speak it and say, why don't you Why don't you
worship, that which doesn't speak, is giving them the general thing. Why? Because they've accepted
it now. It means they can harm you. It means a company for you can't do anything. So therefore it is
just an inanimate object. orfila come, what he meant to do. And I mean, Daniela, and this is

02:21:16 --> 02:21:54
			probably the harshest statement that they brought him or Islam says in throughout all of the
passages that we have of the Prophet Ibrahim alayhi salam, that he says to the oath, an oath is just
a term of, of expressing your disagreement of your dislike, right that's why I'm going to last
panatela mentioned the rights of the parents in the Quran, he says for a lot of, don't even say off
to them off is just like a statement in Arabic, that shows your dislike or your disagreement, not a
curse. It's not a swear word. It's not an abuse word. Why those are worse meaning to your parents,
that's worse to do that. But even just to signal your you know, your your disagreement, just to

02:21:54 --> 02:22:32
			signal your dislike, is for parents, not something which is allowed. The word of therefore is if you
like the lightest type of of dislike that you can utter. Often, he says so off to you and to what
you worship besides Allah, I fell are tapping on Will you not then use your intellect Will you not
see reason. And so he's showing them, they don't harm they don't do anything. One of the things that
the prophets of Allah do in the Quran, when it comes to these false gods besides Allah is that they
show their people that they have no fear of them, that the prophets of Allah don't fear them because
they can't do no harm, or no God, and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did the same. And so

02:22:32 --> 02:23:05
			when the Prophet Solomon conquered the city of Mecca, one of the first things that he did, is he
went and he destroyed all of the idols, by to show these people that actually a won't make a
difference, because they will have a manual, new Muslim, and your whole life is idol worship, and
the whole society and your family and everything, you know, centers around idolatry, then you will
have some of those superstitions and beliefs even as a new Muslim, or if you're contemplating Islam,
yeah, but if I accept a Muslim, maybe those Gods will come and harm me. Or, you know, if something
happens to him, he's got some, some evil and harm will be for me or my family, whatever. And so the

02:23:05 --> 02:23:39
			Prophet sallallahu, alayhi wasallam, destroyed them all to show that they have nothing, they can
harm the con to God, they are nothing. And so he destroyed them all. And that is why when the people
of serif which are the people of bife, when they came towards the end of the life of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when they accepted Islam, one of the things that they said to the
prophet SAW Selim is as for our gods, and our idols will only accept Islam, if you leave them alone.
The person who said No, leave him alone for a year. No, leave him alone for a month. No, okay. Just
leave him alone, for sure. While the Prophet Sam said Why? They said, because we fear that if we

02:23:39 --> 02:24:13
			harm them, some harms, well, if you command us to destroy them, and we destroy them, some harm is
going to be for them. The officer said him didn't give them a time limit. He said, Indeed, I will
send someone who is you don't have to worry about it, I will get it done for you. But the problem
didn't agree to even a month or a week or so because he's really embedding that same false belief
that they have. These are new Muslims. The first thing that they need to do is dispel the, the
understanding of how idols work. And so the Prophet sent a number of components and they went, and
they destroyed the idols that they had during that time. How do the people of Ibrahim alayhi salatu

02:24:13 --> 02:24:26
			salam, how do they respond to him? Just as his father responded by saying, if you don't stop
Ibrahim, I'm either going to stone you or you're going to be exactly the same thing here. What to
his people say, Paul, who have

02:24:27 --> 02:24:59
			also early Hatter come in kuntum, ferryman. They said burn him and support your gods, if you are to
act, right. This is exactly what Allah subhanaw taala mentions in the Quran and sort of sad that the
people of grace said to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, when the Prophet son came with Mr.
Hayden he showed them the false ways and the practices that they were doing. Allah subhanaw taala
says when Paula pal, man or woman whom an issue was beautiful article, a group from amongst

02:25:00 --> 02:25:36
			A leader said, continue and support your Gods Be patient upon them. Right? They consider this a way
of supporting the cons. How do we support our gods the people around him are saying, Let's burn him
kill him, we'll kill him. And we'll show him that our gods have power and that he is someone who is
in the wrong in quantum theory been. So Allah subhana wa tada doesn't really mention how the fire is
made or how it's how the PI was built. But there are different durations. I mentioned that some of
them are Israelite traditions, and some of them are Hadith from those narrations that he said and
Allah knows best is that they built a massive pile.

02:25:37 --> 02:26:15
			A pyre as in they had upon it, fire and wood and wood and fire, and they built it until it was a
massive bonfire. Very, very big. Some of those operations even than say some of these airdroid
traditions even say that they actually catapulted Ibrahim out he slammed to the fight so big it
wasn't so fierce and intense was his heat. But it wasn't just something that you could come next to
and throw him in. It wasn't like a pit of fire that you throw him in. The flames were raging and
burned so fiercely, that they catapulted him in to the fire. That is how they had to get him into
the fight because of the distance by which they had to start and Allah knows best. But we know that

02:26:15 --> 02:26:55
			the Prophet Ibrahim and Islam was thrown into this fire. And this fire was a raging fire. And Allah
subhana wa tada or rather in the narration of buzzworthy, Allah and Houma. He says that the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and the Prophet Ibrahim alayhis salam. Both of them said the same thing
on two separate occasions Ibrahim already sent him when he's thrown into the fire and the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when he was being told that the people have gathered to fire you so you
should feel them. Both of them said we'll call to Hassan allow one ml working sufficient is a lot
for us. And what a blessing protector Ibrahim al Islam started when he was thrown to the fire the

02:26:55 --> 02:27:25
			process and we said it when he was told the people have come and gathered the armies of gathered to
destroy him has been Allah who will determine what kill a lot is sufficient for us. And he is a
blessing protector. Ibrahim, are you Samson? Some of the narrations and these are mentioned in the
books of Tafseer and I don't know if they are authentic and Allah knows best as a hadith I don't
think there are Hadith But anyway, they mentioned in the books of Tafseer is that when Ibrahim out
in cinemas thrown to the fire the intelligibly Lally Salaam came to him and he said to him, oh
Ibrahim, what do you need?

02:27:26 --> 02:28:09
			He said as from from you in jobaline nothing I need nothing from you. Plus from for Allah than I
need his help. I already need his mercy was the mission goals. And so on last apparent tada gives
this command then that allows dogen mentions here now okuni, Bardo Solomon, Allah Ibrahim, we
commanded the fire to be cool and safe upon Ibrahim alayhis salam in the long run her that is
collected in the center of human magia the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that every animal
that was there, was trying to blow out the fire, trying to extinguish the fire. Because when Allah
subhanaw taala grant someone his blessing, His mercy, his protection, the whole universe comes to

02:28:09 --> 02:28:44
			them with the permission of a las panatela in ways that you can see and perceive and other ways that
you can't. Allah is what he does. He shows us in the story of the people of the cave and the story
of the prophets. Allah subhanaw taala protects his own Yeah, and Allah uses his creation to protect
them by his command subhana wa Tada. So the Prophet seldom said everything, everything was trying to
extinguish the fire upon Ibrahim, except for there was there was always like the gecko lizard that
you get, right it's a type of lizard that you get other than that, that was trying to inflate the
fire even more. And that is why the profits on the lower limit it's so common little lizard that you

02:28:44 --> 02:29:24
			get in in the Arab world in the desert and so on the proxxon commander that he be killed for that
reason, he can consider that to be a an impure or a bad admin for that reason. Anyway, on iron out
okuni Bordeaux, Salomon and I brought him on log him the command that the file should be called. And
so he walked out unscathed, and as he brought him out, he slammed walked out unscathed. Then his
people realize that look, there is no way to kill him. No way to punish him. So instead what he did
is that they exiled him. The exile tomorrow dude, he Caden for Jana homologue. serene. Allah
subhanaw taala says they intended for him harm, but we made them the greatest of losers. They

02:29:24 --> 02:30:00
			intended to harm Ibrahim alayhis salam, but instead we made them the greatest of losers. One a Gina
who will open and will be delivered him Oh, we saved him a lot. He said um, who is north and where
Why is his name being mentioned here. Lutheran Islam is also from the family of Ibrahim. He is
considered to be his nephew. When he brought him out, he said I'm leaves as a believer with his
family. At that time, he's only got the one wife which is Sarah, his first wife, when he leaves and
he doesn't have any sons at the moment. The other person that lives with them is Ruth his nephew
because Lutheran Islam has believed in an accept

02:30:00 --> 02:30:35
			To the message of the Brahim he said I'm a lot of Islam as we know then obviously becomes a prophet
in his own right, or the his son. And that is why when the angels come to give the glad tidings to
Ibrahim of his son, his heart, he says to them, Why have you come, they say we have gone we have
come also to deal with the people of North to punish them. And the primary services in the fee
Hello. How can you punish those people may notice amongst them power on and where are the movement
here, they said we know more than you who's there and who's not there. When on a gn O Allah, we will
save him and his family except for his wife, because she's from amongst those who disbelieved. But

02:30:35 --> 02:31:13
			anyway, the point being that No daddy ceram is from the nephews of Ibrahim alayhi salatu was Salam.
So law says that we saved him, he will all be let he bow arkadelphia and they would go and settle in
the land that we have blessed what is the land that we have blessed, the land of godsword the land
of a sham, the Levant, that is the area that has been blessed by loss of Hannah water IRA. And as we
know the area of a sham is a land that is a blessing because the Lord's will mentions it on more
than one occasion in the Quran. And that is where the prophets have been instructed many of them
stay when many of them are from their own region of Egypt and so on around that region around it.

02:31:13 --> 02:31:28
			That is where many of them will will come from and will stay as well. That is what he brought him
out in some will eventually end up but before they brought him out Islam eventually ends up in a
sham which is where he settles and where his heart and his son is born. There are a number of things
that will take place.

02:31:30 --> 02:32:09
			From those things that will take place is joining towards the area. And what takes place between him
and the the oppressive King. Why the disobedient king that he meets for more will take place then is
his meeting with her job. From what takes place then is the birth of his married his ceram foremost
takes place that is him going to McCann leaving them in the barren land. All of this takes place
before Ibrahim Ali Stan can eventually settle in in a sham and even once he settles we know that
Ibrahim ceram will travel on a number of occasions back to Makkah to his mind or Islam to fulfill
different parts of the commands of Allah subhanho wa Taala either, Alonzo Tilden says concluding

02:32:09 --> 02:32:44
			this passage, what will happen Allah Who is harkaway jacobina Fira and we gave to him his heart on
jacobina edition. And all of them are called and Johanna solly hain. All of them we made righteous,
and his heart and their comb as we know also from the prophets of Allah Allahu Salatu was Salam. And
often in this passage, or in these types of stories on this, these types of contexts in the life of
Ibrahim Ali Sarah is the name of his heart that is mentioned in the losses and been bestowed upon
him as we saw earlier and sort of Maria is the name of his heart that is given as opposed to smiling
because there is his heart and from his children that the majority of the profits will come from

02:32:44 --> 02:33:05
			other than our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was you know comes from the line of is married to
his Salah to Asana I think that this is a good place to stop because the next section then begins
and rather than just starting it and then stopping it again. I think this is a good place to stop
inshallah Tata for today. We'll take a couple of questions before we we conclude if there are any.

02:33:11 --> 02:33:45
			Because the first question is, can we have a khaleel in the dunya? Or is that only for Allah
subhanaw taala. The term Holly just means to have a close and intimate friend, right? And you can
wait you can have someone that you that you consider to be that you consider to have. That way you
can obviously designate yourself as being is the holly level loss of Hello data, right? That's
something obviously which Allah azza wa jal gives, but the word hollein as a term, as a concept just
means someone who's an intimate and very close friend, and so you can you can say that to someone
who is possible that some people still have that.

02:33:58 --> 02:34:16
			When you mentioned the Prophet Ibrahim al Islam is one of the city upon saying that he was truthful,
that on the Day of Judgment, he will take some of his mistruths, which aren't the types of lies that
we are accustomed to upon himself as since does that mean that anyone that has lied and repented
cannot therefore be of the city? Or does that mean that the Prophet Rahim was the best of the city?

02:34:17 --> 02:34:51
			So when Ibrahim Ali Salman, all of the prophets, Ali, Muslim of the day of judgment in the hadith of
a shofar intercession, when they mentioned some of the things that they did, it has not done in the
context of sin. They don't say that we sinned, right, even if some of that was maybe disobedience to
Allah subhanaw taala is not considered sin, because Allah forgave them. And anything that is
forgiven is expunged is wiped away. But a person may still feel some remorse for what they did.
Right. And that is part of Eman that even the alarms which will forgive you, you know that actually
what you did was still wrong and you're hoping to last forgiveness, but you still feel that, that

02:34:53 --> 02:34:59
			that remorse by in terms of the sin that you committed that is also part of the manner is inshallah
a good sign. So Abraham

02:35:00 --> 02:35:34
			Are you tsunamis from the city upon because Allah calls him in Surah Maryam from the city of pain he
says in the hurricane also the Urban nebia are in now cannot see the economy. Yeah. And one of the
profits by the way, I'll send the pin all of them are truthful so that there are profits that are
untruthful and only some that are truthful. But this is mentioned even more in the story of Ibrahim
and Islam was one of his of one of his attributes because of those incidents that take place in his
life. And so loss of habitat I mentioned this for him as a way of showing that it was done for the
sake of Allah done in the path of Allah subhanaw taala and we will also mention some of those

02:35:34 --> 02:35:37
			examples or at least one of the example that will come tomorrow.

02:35:38 --> 02:35:43
			Okay, so inshallah, with that we're going to conclude also a lot of them hamadryad it also can be as
main

02:36:02 --> 02:36:18
			Alhamdulillah Allah alameen hope everyone has benefited from that session in sha Allah to Allah will
be back in sha Allah tomorrow and will begin at 10am insha Allah barakallahu li como como la jolla,
salaam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakato
