So in time
Allahumma salli wa salam ala Nabina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa salim the Seaman Kathira, Abadi Killa, whom Allah Muhammad Allah Allah Muhammad coma Barack Tala Ibrahim Ibrahim in a cameo Majeed Bismillah Alhamdulillah wa Salatu was Salam ala Rasulillah he We're back. Welcome everyone in sha Allah to another episode of Quranic
stories over here we're going through the story of Ibrahim Ali Salaam.
I did get a lot of requests to do the story of
you know, hazard hazard and her husband and hazard Husayn and the whole haram and everything.
There is extensive lectures that I've already done on that. And you can find them on YouTube. If you look up, I've done I think, a three lecture series on that in extensive detail about that. I think the younger kids in general, there's a lot of details in there, they don't need to know now, if it was an adult only lecture then it would make sense for that. And also we want to stick to that. You know, our purpose of this which is stories from the Quran Inshallah, we might do some cocktails here and there just to summarize some of that lectures for the adult audience. Insha Allah, if Allah gives us Sophia in sha Allah. So last time we talked about that, Allah subhanaw taala in the Quran,
he has codified for us, for us there in the Quran, there are encapsulated only three conversations that we have of Ibrahim Ali Salam with people. So we only have three conversations, where Ibrahim Ali Salam is speaking to people. Okay, those three conversations.
Number one was the conversation of Ibrahim alayhi salam with whom his father beautiful number two was the conversation of Ibrahim it he sat down with who?
His people, right, why do you are why do you worship this and all of that the whole conversation was about why do you worship and then eventually he realizes it's not working?
Right?
Before he heads out, because he was involved in this, this conversation takes place after Ibrahim Ali Salam comes out of the fire. Okay, so he stayed in the fire and after Ibrahim Ali Salam he came out of the fire, who was the ruler at that time?
Who knows?
who ruled bourbon at that time
was a very famous king Come on, named Ruth. Okay. Name Ruth was the ruler at that time, he was responsible. And he was the king of Babel or at that time, you would can say, the Iraq and the Levant area, all of that. That's what he controlled.
So
Allah subhanaw taala
encapsulates a portion of that conversation,
which takes place between Ibrahim Ali Salam, and it takes place between Ibrahim Ali Salaam and abroad, this third conversation. So first conversation is with family.
The second conversation is with the people. And the third conversation is the socio political establishment people who control everything else. So that's why Ibrahim Ali said, um, you get examples of every type of dialogue.
So you get a dialogue of how you speak with your family, you get a dialogue of how do you speak with the community and people you get an example of a dialog from how do you speak to political establishments? What do you do? Where do you stand? Mind you that at that time, Ibrahim Ali salam how many people follow the Brahim Ali Salam at that time?
No one. Thank you. There was no followers of the prime minister.
He didn't have a follower other than his family, he didn't have a follower.
So he is going in
with this pretext that he is definitely going to die at this conversation.
Right? He's walking in knowing that he is singular all alone, there is nobody to support him.
Yet he takes on this conversation.
So we're going to do the passage today.
And when we're done with the patch passage, I want us all to go back
and reflect on it together. Okay.
This is gonna be a little bit different journey. So right before Allah tells us the story, we need to have a little bit of pretext, right of what Allah was talking about. So Allah subhanaw taala. He says he talks about this whole thing. Yeah, you are living among all people who are believed do not destroy yourself by telling people
Look, I control I saved you when you needed money I gave you money when you needed me This is called man while other and painful remarks gala Yoshio como la jolla and NAS like the one who spends his money to show off to people Well I only don't even know when you will ask him and the one who does that he actually doesn't have any believe in Allah and the day of judgment. If I must say the WooCommerce studies have won the example of this person is not is nothing but Safwan or hard rock it he told Robin it has some dust on it fossa who I belong to and rain comes down for Tanaka who solida so it leaves on strong it leaves that rock bare stone nothing is left on top of it. Layer two do you
don't either che in Makkah Cebu there is no power for them. I II whatever efforts they do, they have no power of that and those efforts are not going to benefit them. Well. Hola. Hola. Como Catherine. Then in the next part, Allah subhanaw taala starts off from Catherine to the highest level which is oily.
And Allah says, Allah What are you loving? Man? Oh, Allah is the Wali.
Allah is the friend, the protector, The Guardian. All those meanings are encapsulated in the meaning of the word Wali.
Allahu Allah, you will levena Emanuel. Allah is the Wali of those who believe in Him. Last time we talked about the detail of Iman and what the man does to us.
Your holy jewel I'm Amina Luma.
Elan no more. Allah is the Wali, the protector, The Guardian, the friend of those who believe in Him.
And when Allah becomes your Wali, your protector your guardian your friend, then Allah takes you out of the darknesses Lulu mat.
Allah takes you out of the darkness is of your own heart. Allah takes you out of the darkness is of your own sin. Allah takes you out of the darkness is of the society you live in. Allah takes you out of the darkness is of the friend circles that you have if you choose and take Allah as your friend
just like any other friend that you take, that friend has some consequences on you. That's why the out of these they say I've said this before a spa cable sad. Your saw him Your friend is the one who who pulls you down, eat Yes helewka He drags you to things that you don't want to go into.
So like any friend that you take has some effect on you. Allah is showing that over here he's saying if you choose me and may Allah make us from those who choose Allah as already say I mean
Allah if he becomes a lead for you and me and if we choose Him as our lead, then the consequences that Allah takes you out of Zulu mouth. Notice don't we hear the word Zulu math is plural, which means not one type of misguidance and darkness all forms of misguidance and darknesses. Allah will take you out of all forms of these misguidance in darknesses, Elan no
to singular guidance. Allah did not say you hurry Jo home you know lumati Isla Anwar
because the context and the structure of the sentence should have been, Allah will take you out of the darkness is towards lights.
But over here, Allah says Allah will take you out of the darkness is towards light.
One light, which is the light and the knower and the Hideo villa, and it is singular. There not many, it's singular. When levena katha o Li,
da hoto and those who chose not to believe in Allah,
who chose to believe half in Allah, somewhat, right and they have some level of gopher cover over here. It could be an absolute denial or Kufa over here could also mean the opposite of sugar. That you're not thankful to Allah, you choose a path of lack of thankfulness to Allah.
That in that particular case, our Lea almost thaw vote their friends, or eat those people who choose gopher and disbelief as you know, as their way their friends become rude all forms of false god.
Any form of things for some people, you're tahu
Could be your cars. People spend all their life on it.
For some people in our old house, I remember that there was a guy he had a bike across the street in the corner. And when summer would come miskeen that every every single day, he would take the car bike on a ride and come back and he'd be standing there for hours on polishing every single rim and every single line and you'd be like, underneath his bike and underneath Subhanallah and sometimes he was a Muslim and he wouldn't even pray.
Right we've had I had a few conversations with him and he was very, like, I don't want to do anything with this. Good. Allah has given me everything. I got a bike I got a house, I got everything. What have you got? Right? He didn't say that. But like that was the attitude. Allah is like if a person chooses go for a form of
ungratefulness towards Allah subhanaw taala. Then Allah says, your friends become all forms of things that occupy you ta hood, anything that takes you away from Allah.
And what's the effect of these false gods on us? You hurried you now hope I'm mean and no more. They take this person who had Iman who said La ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasool Allah, he had no he had that singular light, he had guidance he was guided
that person Allah says, their friends, the Savute are going to take you your courage you and our home may not know from that singular light that you have
a love guru mat towards eternal darknesses all forms of darknesses
hola Inca us have
these are the people of hellfire. These are the companions of Hellfire.
They chose wrong friends Allah made Hellfire their friend.
Allah protect us home fee, folly alone. They're going to stay at what you do. They're going to stay everlasting in it.
Then that genuine question that you and I will ask, okay, Allah, I don't want to be from the second category I want to be from the first category.
Can you give us an example of the first category?
Who was from the first category? And then Allah gives us the example of the conversation that takes place between Ibrahim alayhi salam and the mood.
He says, Alain Dada Isla lezzy
Jaya Ybor he came
I am Tara Did you not see
is any one of you over here where we all present over there?
When that's where we present then why is Allah subhanaw taala telling you Did you not see can we see
can you and I can read decide to you know put some I don't know some IP address in our thing and witness the entire conversation that took place between Ibrahim Alison I'm gonna group can we see that? Then why is Allah subhanaw taala asking Allah I'm Tara
it's as if present continuous. Do you not see? Are you not able to see?
Why is Allah using the present continuous tense?
Think
biryani is on its way.
Actually, it's flour. But anyhow, some food is on its way. So if you use some extra calories, it will help you. Yeah.
Good. So the first point is to emphasize the obviousness of this conversation. I eat this is so obvious that you're going to see these level of conversations all around him.
And the second is Allah wants you to actually vividly understand this as if you are seeing this.
So be there and put yourself in that scene and watch and listen carefully to what Allah is going to say. Make sense?
Allah says, Allah I'm Tara Isla Levy. Did you not look at a levy? The one had Jah Ibrahim? The one who argued with Ibrahim alayhis salam.
What was the name of this person?
Can I get a glass of water please? Anyone?
Does?
What was the name of this person? Who was arguing with the brain Madison?
Name Ruth. Why not mention his name?
Brown rounds name is mentioned
how man's name is mentioned our owner's name is mentioned
beautiful
Yes
sorry
no
you had something no yes
Hmm
You got to speak louder
okay beautiful.
His yes
get to speak louder
Okay, okay.
So the first
what she said
that Allah was like Allah did not want it to give him any credit
because he went completely he went against Allah's friend hurriedly
so even in the matter where he was supposed to be mentioned he Allah mentions him in reference to Ibrahim Ali salaam, and you have absolutely no credit in this conversation. And the second point what you said, Say that again
this whenever a law takes away the name of an individual
good or bad,
in sort of scarf, right in a home and all of Europe be him was it an inner home fit yet on an OB or a beam? Was it in a home? Hoda? There were a bunch of young people who were there? Well, they belong to the elite class at that time if you read the tafsir books, but Allah is like it doesn't matter time and date.
This conversation can retake so lesson for us is that this will repeat itself. It is not specific to an individual. But when Allah mentions the name of the individual,
while Mariama buena de Marana Letty, it's only Miriam and nobody else that mediums case will never happen again.
It has set up it has set up right it's not going to happen again. God wouldn't Harmon or once and it will never happen again. that I own is one thing it will never happen again. But this type of conversations will happen time and again time and again time and again. I love data Isla de Hijjah Ibrahim Ibrahim us field of be argued with Ibrahim Ali Salam about Ibrahim's rub.
The next point over here
Allah subhanaw taala could have said Alam tara Isla de Hijjah Ibrahima Fila, did you not look at the one who argued with Ibrahim Ali Salam about Allah?
But over here, Allah subhanaw taala says, Did you not like I want you to understand this, did you not look at the one who argued with Ibrahim about Ibrahim's rub?
What is Allah telling us about Ibrahim Ali salaam, leader and his belief in Him? Allah is testifying that I am Ibrahim's Rob.
And that's the message for us that before we go out and give Dawa to people
I'm all for it, that we have to give that 100 books. But with some training. You can't watch a few YouTube videos and go out on the streets and start giving Dawa because the nature of Tao on the streets has completely changed.
It's no longer back in the day you were distribute. Yeah, if you're just distributing the books of the Quran and you're saying, Listen, I don't have much knowledge. This is what I believe in. Just go and give. That's different. But when you have young people and we motivate them and we say Oh, come you know we're going on this day or that day on the street and giving Dawa. That person can't answer basic questions of his own Theda.
He's not even worthy of being on that street, you're gonna cause more harm to yourself and to others.
So over here, you can give Dawa but to the extent when
in this case, Ibrahim alayhi salam is saying I am Ibrahim's Rob.
Allah is saying Rafi he was arguing Allah uses himself as a third person
testifying the the depth of Ibrahim Ali Salaam is understanding in hola
hola I'm Tara Isla levy
Ibrahim I feel being all of these points that the last seven minutes that I mentioned if you just read the English translation are completely lost.
Are you Oh Prophet not aware of those who argued with Ibrahim about his Lord?
In English, everything is lost.
That's why you cannot understand the Quran. Only in English you have to rely on the text of the Quran.
The next part
and hula molk in the next part Allah is like Allah gave him Allah uses Allah.
An atta hula hula milk now we're just talking about that person that Allah gave him Kingdom I II Nimrod was given kingdom from Allah subhanho wa taala. Right. That's why the Allama they said the CX changed and the first one that should have been Allah because the next ayah is also Allah. But Allah wanted to allude to you the depth of Ibrahim Ali Salam is a theta and understanding of Allah. And hula hula molk Why did he argue? What was the cause the root cause that Allah tells us about his argument? He says
that Allah had given him i inroad kingship, Ullman.
How many people ruled the entire Earth?
Yes
to
know
four people ruled the entire Earth.
Two are Muslims.
And two were not.
Who are they?
Huh? Sorry. Alexander or little Korean? Okay, will Kernighan was one. He was the Muslim who else was the Muslim who ruled Earth Come on, guys. Everybody knows this.
One One Nebby. Very famous. So they man it his salah, right. These two were Muslims who ruled the entire earth. From the non Muslims. There were two. Yes.
Think of the story.
Our story today? Yeah. Who's in the story today? Nimrod is one who is the last one. Let's see if anybody can guess that. Yes.
No.
Yes.
No, it's not around. Yes.
Hmm.
I can't hear you.
Who can guess Come on guys.
His name was bought NASA. There's no way you guys are gonna guess that.
So his name the fourth person is called both NASA. Okay. That was the fourth person that actually other bad men mela cool. Irga. There were four that were kings of the entire Earth. Okay, and these are the two. So tool number one Nimrod and Dr. Nasir from the kuffaar. And then you have from the Muslim Alexander the Great or the local rain. And number two, so they might not eat us. So the cause of this
arrogance Allah subhanaw taala says Aneta hula hula Milka.
The cause is what the root cause, he says is that he was arrogant because Allah had given him kingdom. Anything that you and I own today. Any little bit of gadget, any little bit of power, any little bit of money, any house, anything in our house, any household items, personal items, every single thing that you and I own. Allah owns everything of ours. Yet Allah owns you too.
And that is usually the source of most people's arrogance.
Oh Allah has given me so much. Allah has you know, Allah is so so kind to me.
Allah has given me so much and that gets to people's heart. And they become arrogant because I now tell who Allah and molk Allah has given them that they forget the whole equation, that it was a lie in the first place who gave you that kingdom? It is Allah in the first place who gave you that little bit of respect in your high school or in your college? It was ALLAH that gave you that position in the first place. And that that hula hula molk
the other understanding of Aneta hula hula Mulk is that if Allah gave you in the first place, what can Allah do?
Allah can take it away anytime.
So the reminder for you and I is that anything that you and I have in life?
Anything that you and I have, today you have it Allah has given it to you.
Tomorrow you will not have it because Allah has chosen to take it away from you.
And that is why some of the setups they used to say that
couldn't lose hay in the UK. Everything that you have. Ila mostly rain, it has two ends.
Everything that you own and possess today from the smallest pencil in your drawer to the most expensive watch that you have to the most expensive car you drive to every little thing that you have and every big thing that you have, it all has to ends
eMAR too far in Cook,
I will too far.
Either that thing will leave you ie you will outlast the thing and it will break down and you will have to throw it away or that thing will outlast you and you will die.
That is the end of every possession of ours. Right? That is why Allah is reminding over here. And artha hula hula mold but a subtle reminder for us that Mulk and dominion and kingship is all from Allah, it belongs to you. Because Allah has allowed you to have kingship over it Allah has allowed you to have power over it and unlock and take that away anytime he wants.
If God Allah Ibrahim or a be a lazy you haywire you will meet
Ibrahim Ali Salam he starts off his argument with numerous Allah skiffs the entire conversation there now it will he arrived and then he was taken to the king and the king was standing all of that because that's not the purpose of Quran the purpose of the Quran is to get you to the point the point is, is Allah Ibrahim or a be a lazy Yogi where you meet Ibrahim Ali salaam openly comes out and says my Rob is the one
who gives life and death you he where you meet he gives life and death
there are four things that only Allah can do in your life to we just learned what are the other two
No, it's something to do with your
existence
hmm obviously your eat keep you alive. Yes. When you meet or make you die that's one what is the other thing
when you're alive and dead? There's a state that you're in
huh
sorry
No, somebody else
time
health obviously it's part of life
hmm
that's also with Allah subhanaw taala that's part of life. But it is something physical. Allah says Huh?
Health as part of life
mashallah, this is this is Brioni as soon as buddy it entered the room, you guys are all like mashallah, that that little smell triggered you all the like, yes, we need to answer all the questions gently, hotter, more lecture.
Ha.
Power to it. That's all part of life. There is one specific thing in life where Allah subhanaw taala says, who are other Hakka? Wa
obika Allah is the one that makes you
happy and laugh and makes you cry. Crying is not in your control.
Neither is being happy and smiling. Who are the Hakoah? And after that, why don't ALLAH SubhanA wa Amata Bahia and he gave you death and then he made you alive again. Life and death and your ability to be happy. And life into smile is in the hands of Allah. How many times do we come across a person that has all the reasons for him to be smile, but they're sad.
I eat most of the people living in America.
Right? Right. There was a famous YouTuber, Muslim guy, fuzzy, fuzzy tube, fuzzy tube guy. He went he was all an anxiety pill. But anyway, all tons of things. So they said, Well, you know, why don't you use your YouTube channel and there's a video about it. He talks about it on YouTube. There's a video about this where he says
there's a video about it where he says that he was taken by this charity to Kenya. He goes to Kenya and he is over there he is doing that cataract surgery so
He's you know, telling the people on your YouTube channel, please donate for this cause do this, do this, all of that everything is happening.
He spends three weeks over there.
And then he lands in America. And he does a video and he says, while I was there for three weeks, I had no anxiety.
I had no depression. either. I had no amenities, I had to figure my bathroom situation out. But I was the happiest person I've ever been in the three weeks that I spent in Kenya.
I serve on the board of a charity out of South Africa, called Imam development project. So we have over 750 Imams now that we support, and we in Africa, and we help those Imams raise the standard of their livings. And every year, we have a retreat. We haven't had to retreat because of COVID. But you know, Inshallah, this year we might have a retreat. So we invite other people to come and join us in South Africa. And see these Imams and Wallahi when you see these Imams where they come to a masjid, where the masjid does not have any carpet. It's only dust. And they are probably the happiest Imams I have ever met in my life.
They wake up on time without alarm clocks, we are all you know, bound to our phone and stuff. They have natural food, they enjoy life. They're always happy. They're always connected. And subhanAllah it's just super joyous moments, every little thing they cherish.
Like in the salad, there's cucumber, Allahu Akbar, there is cucumber in the salad.
I was like, Okay.
I knew why. But for them cucumber in the salad is a big thing.
For them, they saw some of them. They saw a swimming pool for the first time when we took them to a resort. They're like we've never seen a swimming pool. What do you guys do here? He's like, What do you guys do? Like we swim here? Why here? Not the lake? Why do you small swim in this small thing? You have the whole lake. They can't understand these concepts.
So being happy and being sad, of haka and crying, all of these things are in the hands of Allah subhanaw taala is called a Ibrahim or a B. Alevi up are you meet? Well, I know he will meet he says,
Abraham says my Rob is the one who gives life you hear you meet he gives life and death.
Numerology response. He says, I know who you will meet. I mean, what's the big deal about that I can give life and death. So he brings to prisoners who knows the story? Okay, tell me
beautiful, so he brings two people one was supposed to die and the other was supposed to live.
He swaps the decision.
And he says, Look, I made him live and I made him die.
I control this. I am Rob. I am the ROB.
Allah Ibrahim over in Allaha TV Shamsi, middle my ship. So Ibrahim Addison, I'm doing waste much time because you're playing nonsense games. He says let's, let's, let's do checkmate. There's no point of getting this arguments. Right. There's no point like a person came to me he started having all of these philosophical arguments about like, God and existential realities, and nebulous and all of that as it looks heavy. I mean, it's not listen, the muffin that is in front of you, which was made by my daughter, and orange muffin. Do you believe that that muffin, all of a sudden, all the ingredients that were there in the in the cabinet, they all of a sudden decided to walk out and have
a beautiful dance and got into an agreement. And then one of the ingredients opened the oven and they got into a pan and they went into the oven. And then they came out beautifully. And then they separated themselves popped out of the pan and popped into your plate all by themselves.
He's like, You must be really crazy to believe that. I said what you believe in is a lot more crazier. You're saying the entire cosmos was somehow connected by some antenna, and that antenna sent a signal. And he sat there for a second. He was like, yeah, man, that makes a lot of sense.
When you can believe what you're saying about a muffin, and you want me to believe about a cosmos. That is so perfect.
And literally like five minutes later, that person accepted Islam in our, you know, dining table, he accepted Islam and he said, I'm Muslim. So sometimes knowing that awareness, when to give a philosophical argument because that person is actually going to have an argument with you and they're truly trying to find and when the person is holding on to some belief, which is just absurd. So over here, he says, really? So my Arab he brings the sun from the east, tried to bring it from the west
for a buoy televi Kapha
Then,
at that point, Ibrahim Ali Salam, he challenged him at that level that he was dumbstruck. Boo. It basically means that you made a statement. It was dumb, but somebody called out your dominance to a level that you're stuck. You're like, Oh my God, how dumb could I ever be to say that? For Bolita let the cover
while hola hola
como la de mein and Allah does not guide Leia de, he does not guide I'll own the nation of volley mean the ones who are transgressors in this story.
You have a lot of lessons for us. Number one, you have extreme bravery of Ibrahim Ali Salam, imagine if you are alone, like you know, some of the sister was mentioning that, you know, she had she used to be the only Muslim in some town in Florida, some small town with 15,000 people and she was the only Muslim in the class.
Imagine having that courage.
The shujaa The bravery that is needed. So what we learned from the story of Ibrahim Ali Salam that it's your numbers don't matter. If you believe truly in Allah subhanho wa Taala man that was good.
It's coming this way, like it's all the way here because of the exhaust is coming right down on me. So Allahu Akbar, May Allah help us in sha Allah. So sometimes you have to when you believe in Allah subhanaw taala. And you have that true belief. This story of Ibrahim Ali said I'm tells every single one of the young ones that are here, the the ones that are working in the job, if you happen to be the alone, singular Muslim doesn't matter.
In Ibrahim alayhi salam, we have the example that he went with the king, one of the four most strongest kings in the world.
There is no America and no, you can no no, no, like he controlled the entire world.
And he is the only Muslim he's like, What have you the Who are your followers? I mean, come on, and who are your followers, Lauren?
Imagine today, you won't even get an audience with any important person if you don't have followers.
Right SubhanAllah.
So that's the first part that we learned that when
you truly believe, then at that point,
the numbers that you're in one people two 510 20, those numbers don't matter. Because your conviction is strong.
And then your conviction surpasses everything else.
The second thing that we learned in this
is Ibrahim Ali Salam was super smart.
He was not dumb. He realizes this guy's playing games. Imagine the courage that is required to, to like, do something like that to a ruler of the entire world at that time. Oh, you're gonna play smart, let's play smart. Okay, then try to get the sun. Everybody knows nobody can change the course of the sun. But if you're gonna play those arguments that I'm going to present the similar type of argument to you. And sometimes we have to be smart when we are having conversations with our adversaries. Okay, number three is Ibrahim Ali Salam was in detail, aware of the Hata
of Allah, Allah's power he understood that if Allah stands by him,
he is a believer in Allah subhanaw taala then he understands because he had so much money for so much awareness of Allah today our problem is that we don't have a true understanding of Allah subhanaw taala.
As I said, many of us if we were to ask them to enumerate the SIFAT of Allah, okay, what are some of the mandatories evolved on Allah subhanaw taala we can answer
what are some of the mandatory Sif autonoma.
So, that might differ, knowing that these are certain attributes or must on Allah subhanaw taala certain Andrey attributes or wajib certain attributes are Mooster he'll impossible in the help of Allah.
that awareness that night ephah that awareness of Allah is what we lack.
And because of that, we don't have true European in our Ibadah we're not able to truly commit to Allah, we're not able to truly commit to these things.
Insha Allah in the next, Mahara
Is hijra, so Ibrahim Ali Salam, after three strikes, attempting to he tried fixing his household first. Then he tried fixing his society. Then he said, Okay, let me try from all the way to the top. I'll start from the political structure and hopefully the change can come down. All three forms of change.
Kind of like the government systems, we have municipal, state and federal. He tried all of them, right family, this community, and then the political structure.
That also tells you that he was in the capital,
because he would he had access to the kings with the king of the entire world, wherever he was, that was one of the important cities. So he tried changing and Thrall three forms. When all of that did not work. What did Ibrahim Ali Salam say after that?
He said, In neither haibun ila or being Sandy, I am heading back to Allah. I'm done. I've done my job as an OB. I've given that what to my my own household. I've given that word to the community that I live in. I've given Dawa to the socio political structure of this. I'm done. Now I'm going to go return to Allah subhanaw taala. That's where Ibrahim Ali Salam and he leaves and inshallah we'll cover that next week is when he leaves when he goes out. He's sitting on the mountain. And he asks Allah subhanaw taala
refer to heal Mota. He's all by himself. He's like, you know, he believes in Allah. But for a momentary he's like, Hmm, like, I believe that Allah is wanting to resurrect me and now he is talking to Allah subhana wa Tada. And he's saying, oh, Allah, can you tell me how you bring light, you know, people back to life.
It's a beautiful, entire dialogue that Allah encapsulates for us, not a dialogue but a scene.
Inshallah, we will cover that next week. Where is the sister stamper? Sister with the stamp, you have the stamp? Okay, the kids with the card? Where are you all the kids?
Okay, beautiful. I just want to reiterate over here from the brother side and the sister side. So on the brother side, please make rows while brothers are going to put the suprise same way for the sisters and the children are going to be sitting here in sha Allah.
Before you guys leave, I have one request in sha Allah for everyone. So alhamdulillah in the last
four months that we have been doing, or three months that we've been doing this together, collectively, and hamdulillah by the support of all of you, we have received, we have received over $22,000 specifically for this project. Specifically for this project. I think currently cash in hand that we have is around 14,000, which is rounding the numbers, we have cash in hand 14th. Our next phase of this project is very simple. We want to bring once a month, a speaker, an influential speaker, whether they are a visiting scholar, or we invite them as a scholar, we already have our first two scholars booked. First one is booked so I can share his name his ticket is booked and
confirmed is going to be Mr. Tom Facchini. He is one of a very rising star Mashallah. And really, I ran into him in Toronto, and had beautiful conversations. And recently I did my podcast with him on your team, and beautiful guy. You will love a lot from him in a lot of perspective. So he should be here with us on the Labor Day weekend. His tickets are booked inshallah. But when we bring these speakers again, I don't I want to be transparent because I think for transparency, we can't hide. If you're bringing somebody like you know, your shift yesterday body or is a jacket, you know, just it's not that they would demand this, but those speakers have certain honorariums, or cost of
living, they don't travel, right, they're going to travel business class, because their time is very important. So they want to get to the airport, literally 45 minutes before get on the flight. Like literally I met, you know, one of the scholars, he flew in,
did the lecture, met one person and literally at 945 took the flight out and he was in Florida, right because they're on such a tight timeline. So if you bring in some of these speakers, on average, you end up paying anywhere between three to $4,000 for that one weekend, but I honestly believe that if as a community, we have the capacity to do that. What I want today for everyone, we have some monthly sustainers people who have opted to monthly sustain this program, but we need more monthly sustainers so that I and myself would rather Shaquille and the team, we can look at that Excel sheet and say, Can we bring us a car the next one, right? Well, we need to wait a couple more
months we can skip a speaker and whatever the plan is by
Without that this can't happen. So sisters just
okay.
So from the brother side and I'll come to the sister side to from the brother side and the sister side, I'll come to both. I want people who can commit on a monthly basis $100 We have I think right now $2,100 that come on a monthly basis. Okay, people have committed $100 So we the goal is to have at least 60 people on $100 per month. Okay, so I'm just going to ask right out here anybody that is interested, just show of hands so we know and then honestly, I'm not going to send anybody I'll leave it to you and Allah subhanaw taala it will only take you one minute to take your phone out, go to Hamza Islamic center and subscribe on the monthly package and do it before you leave here but a
show of hands people who have not submitted or committed and are willing to submit at least or commit to $100 per month show of hands
and that's a 12 month commitment and inshallah we should do that. Okay, show of hands. Who's the first one that's going to break the ice?
