Muhammad
and Nabi My dear brothers and sisters,
it's my pleasure once again to welcome you
to another episode
in our series of duas to cover your
day.
And we are still reflecting on our Rasmal
Khushnah,
the most beautiful names of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala.
As we are reminded again and again in
the Quran,
you ought to invoke
and call upon Allah
by invoking his
beautiful names.
So, today, we have some 3 I have
chosen 3 of these most beautiful names,
and we can call upon the Lord.
Say, Yagafar.
Yagafar.
Yagafar.
Oh, the forgiver of sins.
The sovereign master who defeats the enemies.
The bestower or dispenser of graces.
So we can,
now reflecting on these three names that Wafaa
comes from the root
meaning the root meaning of
the word is to cover.
So Allah
is the forgiver of sins.
He covers our sins and then follows it
up
by forgiving us our sins
may we turn to him in repentance.
So say.
So he did not go to continue forgiveness
of his servants
in spite of the repeated
persistence in sins and rebellion.
Even though we may have been guilty of
enormous sins,
and we may have sinned again and again
as long as we turn to Allah,
seeking forgiveness
and mercy
and determined to change ourselves,
God is there to forgive us.
The words okay. The al kahar is another.
So the I mentioned that root meaning of
the word gafar is covering up.
So Allah covers the portions
without exposing us
and then follows it up by forgiving us.
Refers to God's pervasive
and overriding
power
over all of his creation.
He alone is the one who bestow the
planets,
their sizes, their dimensions,
and give the prophets their status and missions,
and no one can revoke or alter his
will or action.
So
we call
upon to subdue the enemies,
to humble them.
If they are rebellious, if they are aggressive,
if they are oppressive,
you can do so by calling upon a
Al kaha.
Surah number 6 verses
17 to 18.
If Allah
should touch you with affliction,
none can remove it save He,
And should he touch you with goodness,
then he is the he is powerful over
all things,
meaning no one can take it away
from us.
He is a sovereign master
who will quarrel
over his servants.
His power is
permissive.
His will is supreme. He is the wise
and the aware.
Al Wahab is the third name we have
chosen to reflect upon.
Wahab means
refers to God as the bestower of blessings
and graces.
He does so on those he chooses
out of his sheer favor.
There is nothing.
He is not in need of the favor
of those who has he has favored.
In Surah
number 3 was 73, Allah says,
O prophet, tell them,
all grace, all favor is in God's hands.
He grants it to whoever he will
he is all embracing, all knowing.
Now the question is, what is our share?
How do we use these names
for benefiting ourselves?
Number 1,
we should never be complacent
about the sins we commit.
Instead, we must has and to seek forgiveness,
and we must also, even as God has
covered our faults,
we should strive to cover the force of
others.
And we should never be deceived by the
power of the tyrants,
the oppressors,
the unjust, the wicked,
because
god's power overrides our powers,
and we need to seeks to subdue all
evil forces within and without
by sole reliance and trust in Allah.
God can take away
the power of the most powerful,
the tyranny of the tyrannous tyrants.
And number 3, we should discern the hand
of Allah,
the power of God behind
all of the blessings in the store, anyone.
So condition ourselves to
attribute all of our favors.
All favor anybody blessing anybody enjoys.
Attribute to our favors and blessings
that anybody
enjoys.
Myself or anyone enjoys,
it's all solely from Allah.
Finally, it should teach us never to abuse
the blessings
that Allah has bestowed on us because He
can take them even as He has bestowed
these favors. He can take them away from
us, and we will also be accountable.
