Theme,

is the significance of masajid. I'm going to

conclude the month with it. So probably tonight

and then Monday Wednesday and then Thursday, we'll

start something new

at the beginning of, of August, which is

the month of outreach. And, hopefully, everyone will

do their best to bring people to

and, reintroduce them to the house of Allah

and be a beacon of dawah for those

who who have maybe lost their way or

don't feel as comfortable as maybe we do.

And this hadith is is connected to the

masjid, maybe not directly, but indirectly. Hopefully, you'll

find the, the the theme of it or

the concept of it helpful. So So he

said the following.

So he said

he said for me to sit with people

in the Masjid, and the reason that the

theme of this is the the the house

of Allah

what he's referring to because people play pray

in in Masjid. So what he's saying is

it for me to sit with people

who are in engaging in the remembrance of

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala

from after the prayer of

and until the sun rises is more beloved

to me than if I had the ability

to

pay money and and, free 4

4 people from the, nation of Ismail, meaning

meaning 4 people from Quraysh. He's talking to

his own people. The I I prefer it

for that over having enough money to free

4 of you. And we all know that

the yeah. I need the concept of

to free someone yeah, I need from flavor.

He's extremely,

important and held in high regards in Islam

in in many ways. So what he's he's

just trying to make a point

that that the remembrance of Allah in the

masjid after within this hour is extremely, extremely

important. And then he would and he said,

and for me to sit with a group

of people who are engaging in the remembrance

of Allah

until

the sun goes down is more beloved to

me than freeing for, meaning the same the

the same thing.

And he has the option to sit and

engage in the remembrance of Allah with

people,

yeah, that he would prefer doing that than

having enough money to free for for human

beings. Right? This is what he's not that

he wouldn't do both out of his but

he's trying to make a point here in

terms of of of importance. And this I'm

not I'm not trying to get into the

argument of, you know, doing remembrance together versus

individual. That that's not what the I'm trying

to talk about here. What I'm trying to

point point point point because the remembrance of

Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala could be a

a session of of knowledge. It could be

many things. It could be just sitting there

and saying

and and saying the name of Allah

and doing tahleel.

But all that is the everything that that

that has some degree of of, closeness to

Allah considered

and considered and considered a, the the act

of remembrance. But the concept is that the

prophet alaihi salatu wa sallam, yeah, if he

had the ability

to

reason he's saying that is that because he

he rarely did. Like, he rarely could afford

to do these things, alayhis salatu. He couldn't

afford to pray Fajal and sit around for

2 hours with people,

remembering Allah

because they had work to do. They had

an ummah to build and they had wars

to fight and they had he didn't he

couldn't always do this, nor could he always

afford

to sit and and engage in this. But

if he had the ability to engage, he'd

prefer that than having enough money to free

4 people. Having enough money to free 4

people is a lot of money, first of

all, and the action itself is extremely important.

So he's trying to bring to us

this concept, this idea of the importance of

you if you come to the masjid and

you pray in Jannah, and then you sit

there, and you just engage in the remembrance

of Allah

with those who are around you. When whatever

however that's going to look, whatever that remembers

is going to be at the end, doing

that is is more valuable than some of

the most

prestigious

acts of worship in our deen, such as

and not 1 or 2 or 3, but
