Abu Taymiyyah – Part 5 We have been Abandoned Allah

Whoever is not well mannered

in his relationship with Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala,

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala will patch him up.

Will deal with him under the

earth. Having bad thoughts of Allah subhanahu wa

ta'ala.

My brothers and my sisters, especially

with everything going on in the world today,

while the coronavirus is going on,

we've had the tragedy

of that fatal brutal

killing of

George Floyd.

It's times like this my brothers and my

sisters who are an individual

can really start to have bad thoughts of

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala

and he begins to ask himself the question,

isn't Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala going to aid

us?

Having good thoughts of Allah

and assuming the best my brothers and my

sisters,

is one of the ways to really

get what you're looking for.

Look what Abdul Laden Mas'ud,

the great companion,

may Allah

be pleased with him said.

Never does a person have good thought of

Allah

except

that he will give it to him.

And this is because

all types of good

is in the hands of Allah

Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

That little tweak

in a person's

way of thinking

could work

absolute wonders for you.

But having this mentality of

there is no light at the end of

the tunnel

is only a reason for you to

remain in misery.

Look what Ibnu Qayb

mentioned in his kitab, Madarj Salakin.

He said,

There's never a time when the servant

Let me just repeat again. There's

never a time

when the servant has good thoughts of Allah

And he has that hope.

And he also has a truthful

type of trust

that he puts into Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala.

Once he does that,

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala

will never disappoint him.

And he won't make his hard

work go to waste.

That is because my brothers and my sisters,

due

to the good thought that we have of

Allah

Subhanahu

Wa Ta'ala

which doesn't require much effort.

How do we know my brothers and my

sisters if our calamities

and the problems and the difficulties that we

are going through

is because of our sins?

Or because that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala loves

us.
