Abu Taymiyyah – Coming to the USA

Assalamu alaikum.

My brothers and my sisters in the US,

I'm going to be coming down. I'll be

there for a couple of days starting from

Thursday night.

InshaAllah,

I'm scheduled to do the Khutba by name

masjid called Masjid Al As Sunnah on the

east coast, in a place called East Orange,

and InshaAllah Ta'ala there'll be a program over

there in that Masjid in the evening as

well. Then InshaAllah Ta'ala,

I'll also be going to North Virginia

where I'm going to be in the Iqra

Institute

where we're going to be going through the

importance of knowledge,

How the people of the past from the

3 golden generations,

those the Messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam praising the

hadith

The best generation is my generation and those

who came after them and those who came

after them, how they sought knowledge. And some

of the things also my brothers and my

sisters that prevent

one from attaining that knowledge.

The love of music and the love of

the Quran are two things that can't come

together in a person's heart and many other

things inshaAllah ta'ala that we are going to

be discussing. I really really look forward to

seeing all of you guys inshaAllah ta'ala.

as it gets confirmed and finalized it will

be posted on the social media. Again like

I said my brothers and my sisters, I

really look forward to seeing you. I've received

a lot of very nice messages from different

parts of America asking me to come down

but you know, because you know places there

they're so so far, it's It's not like

the UK, in the UK you can go

around just about every city maybe within the

space of a week and a half and

they're very close with one another but because

these states are like maybe within flight distance,

it's going to be really really hard. So

JazakAllah Khair for such

nice words and also you know, your nice

request,

and I hope to see you guys inshaAllah

ta'ala in some of these places that I

mentioned, and also maybe other places that are

being finalized.
