Cathy Iran, hello Yomi been uncovered.

00:01:12 --> 00:01:17

Hamdulillah we are on the 26th Jews. And there's a lot to cover

00:01:17 --> 00:01:21

today. So we ask Allah subhanaw taala to help to allow it to be

00:01:21 --> 00:01:27

completed within the time we have. So this 26 just starts with Surah

00:01:27 --> 00:01:31

two off which is the last of the how I mean it's the last time you

00:01:31 --> 00:01:35

that is followed then by a Madani Surah because as you know the HA

00:01:35 --> 00:01:39

memes are machi Soros and then we have a Medina Surah Surah Mohamed

00:01:40 --> 00:01:42

that then is followed by Surah to refer

00:01:43 --> 00:01:47

and then that is followed by sorbitol who gerat What are these

00:01:47 --> 00:01:51

Madani and then it goes back to a MKi Surah Surah to cough and then

00:01:51 --> 00:01:55

after that we have half of Surah to 30 yet as well right at the

00:01:55 --> 00:01:59

end, which is another Mackey surah. So we've got several to to

00:01:59 --> 00:02:03

cover today. So we ask Allah subhanaw taala to help us. So

00:02:03 --> 00:02:04

sorta like

00:02:05 --> 00:02:12

I said it's a it's a murky Surah 35 verses in its four sections.

00:02:13 --> 00:02:16

And just like other murky sources, it has the three basic

00:02:16 --> 00:02:21

foundational Islamic Arcadis mentioned in here. And it starts

00:02:21 --> 00:02:24

off 10 Zero ha Meem 10 Zero cadaverine Allahu La Caesar Hakeem

00:02:24 --> 00:02:27

revelation of the Book from Allah subhanho wa taala, mighty and

00:02:27 --> 00:02:32

wise, and then immediately goes into the discussion of the heavens

00:02:32 --> 00:02:34

and earth mahalo kind of summer where they will have been a homer

00:02:34 --> 00:02:37

elaborate happy Vijay Musa, we've created all of these things in the

00:02:37 --> 00:02:41

heavens and the heaven, earth and everything else in between with

00:02:41 --> 00:02:45

the truth with full authority, and also for a specific time period.

00:02:45 --> 00:02:48

They're not forever, just like they're going to perish,

00:02:48 --> 00:02:51

everything contained within like us, we're going to perish as well.

00:02:53 --> 00:02:56

But those people who, who disbelieve

00:02:57 --> 00:03:02

they ignore the warnings. So then after that there's several

00:03:02 --> 00:03:08

different challenges and questions and responses that are basically

00:03:08 --> 00:03:12

provided regarding the machine. So let me just quickly mention some

00:03:12 --> 00:03:14

of them. If you look at the verses,

00:03:15 --> 00:03:17

aside from talking about what's going to happen to them on the Day

00:03:17 --> 00:03:20

of Judgment, Allah Subhana Allah says Amir coluna, Tara, do they

00:03:20 --> 00:03:23

say that it's fabricated, say to them that if I fabricated, then

00:03:23 --> 00:03:28

basically you would not be able to defend me from Allah in any way?

00:03:28 --> 00:03:31

Right? That would be a big crime for me to do that. Allah subhanaw

00:03:31 --> 00:03:34

taala knows exactly what you get involved with. Everybody is

00:03:34 --> 00:03:37

involved in so on. He's the witness. That's verse eight. Then

00:03:37 --> 00:03:39

after in verse nine, Allah subhanho wa Taala tells the

00:03:39 --> 00:03:42

prophets Allah some to say that I'm not some kind of new prophet.

00:03:42 --> 00:03:45

You know, there are many I'm not like unprecedented. coolmath going

00:03:45 --> 00:03:50

to be the Amina Russell. I'm not a bit a bit like I'm not a new

00:03:50 --> 00:03:53

prophet, meaning I'm not a new idea. There's been

00:03:54 --> 00:03:58

there's been other prophets before me, or dilemma you for Adobe,

00:03:58 --> 00:04:00

whether become I don't know what's going to happen to me, or what's

00:04:00 --> 00:04:03

going to happen to you. I mean, that's the future only Allah

00:04:03 --> 00:04:06

subhanaw taala knows, and I only follow that which is revealed to

00:04:06 --> 00:04:10

me, right, inspired to me, and I'm just a clear winner. And then

00:04:10 --> 00:04:13

there's a few of them that number 11 is very interesting Bacala de

00:04:13 --> 00:04:17

Nica for religion. And this was, I still remember the Tafseer of this

00:04:17 --> 00:04:23

done by Sheikh Yusuf Matata, Rahim Allah Allah Sheikh, when he first

00:04:23 --> 00:04:26

taught us the translation of the Quran. I still remember when he

00:04:26 --> 00:04:29

said this, and that was about 2527 years ago, he said that the people

00:04:29 --> 00:04:33

who disbelieve they will say to the people who believe that if

00:04:33 --> 00:04:36

this was a good thing, like if this religion was a good thing,

00:04:36 --> 00:04:40

then these poor people and the lowly people of Makkah would not

00:04:40 --> 00:04:44

have basically gone ahead of us and and it wouldn't have gone to

00:04:44 --> 00:04:47

them first. It would have come to us first what what an evidence

00:04:48 --> 00:04:50

right, you know, we would have been the first to take this on if

00:04:50 --> 00:04:52

this was a good thing. It wouldn't have gone to them because good

00:04:52 --> 00:04:55

things come to us first. Allahu Akbar.

00:04:56 --> 00:05:00

Anyway, then several other things I mentioned. Allah

00:05:00 --> 00:05:02

subhanaw taala talks about the book of Musa RS and I'm coming

00:05:02 --> 00:05:06

before so that this is not some kind of new idea. It's precedented

00:05:06 --> 00:05:10

before. And then Allah subhanaw taala talks about the people in

00:05:10 --> 00:05:13

verse 13, and 14, that those people who say that our Lord is

00:05:13 --> 00:05:17

Allah, and then they remain steadfast, no fear upon them, they

00:05:17 --> 00:05:19

will not grieve. These are the people of paradise, they will

00:05:19 --> 00:05:22

remain in there forever. And that is recompense for what they used

00:05:22 --> 00:05:25

to do. Now the next verse, which is verse 15, is really

00:05:25 --> 00:05:27

interesting, this verse,

00:05:28 --> 00:05:29

it tells us,

00:05:31 --> 00:05:37

essentially, this is giving us to two examples, contrasting

00:05:37 --> 00:05:43

examples, right of children. One is the child who listens to his

00:05:43 --> 00:05:46

parents obeys his parents, because of all the difficulty that the

00:05:46 --> 00:05:51

parents, especially the mother has gone through, to give them give

00:05:51 --> 00:05:54

the children birth, and then to bring them up. And they're very

00:05:54 --> 00:05:55

obedient. And they,

00:05:56 --> 00:05:58

for them, is basically

00:05:59 --> 00:06:03

good deeds and in the Hereafter, these are the people of paradise,

00:06:03 --> 00:06:07

then it provides a contrasting example. So if you look at verse

00:06:07 --> 00:06:15

15, verse, we've basically we've instructed the insulin to act well

00:06:15 --> 00:06:18

and excellently with their children with their, with their

00:06:18 --> 00:06:23

parents, right. So the mother talks about how the mother boy him

00:06:23 --> 00:06:26

from stage to stage and all of that difficulty, and then this one

00:06:26 --> 00:06:29

actually talks about nursing, what Hamler who have decided to follow

00:06:29 --> 00:06:33

through and Ashara carrying him and also nursing him, you know,

00:06:33 --> 00:06:37

this is about 30 months, two and a half years or so, right until he

00:06:37 --> 00:06:41

gets to his strong age until he gets the picks up age is youthful.

00:06:41 --> 00:06:46

Now. His mind is, is made up about certain things. And then

00:06:46 --> 00:06:49

eventually he leaves middle age and 40 years of age. Well, Bella,

00:06:49 --> 00:06:52

this is a very interesting point, or Bella Barbarina, Santa,

00:06:53 --> 00:06:57

and SubhanAllah. This I think is the idea for midlife crisis. This

00:06:57 --> 00:07:01

is the guidance for midlife crisis, those of you who you know

00:07:01 --> 00:07:05

are passing through the 38 3940 mark, people still end up some

00:07:05 --> 00:07:08

doing some really crazy things that that time here, the Quran

00:07:08 --> 00:07:12

depicts what a true believer does at around the age of 40. When it

00:07:12 --> 00:07:15

gets to the age of 40, he's had a lot of experiences of life. So

00:07:15 --> 00:07:18

that's why now he makes the following dua, and this die is

00:07:18 --> 00:07:22

from the Quran, it's the dua for the age of 40. So if you're around

00:07:22 --> 00:07:24

the age of 40, you should be making this too. And even I mean,

00:07:24 --> 00:07:27

you can do this before after as well. Basically the device called

00:07:27 --> 00:07:32

Robbie ziani, my Lord grant me the enablement to thank you for your

00:07:32 --> 00:07:37

bounties that you've put over given to me and my parents. So

00:07:37 --> 00:07:41

he's remembering his parents. And he is being grateful to his

00:07:41 --> 00:07:43

parents, and he's telling Allah that I want to be grateful to you

00:07:43 --> 00:07:47

for what you've given to me and my parents. And then number two, that

00:07:47 --> 00:07:51

I continue to do good deeds. I don't mess up at this age thinking

00:07:51 --> 00:07:54

that I've wasted my last 20 years. And then people get divorced at

00:07:54 --> 00:07:59

that age people do some crazy things that age, right? So no, I

00:07:59 --> 00:08:02

want to do good deeds, that you're satisfied with what especially if

00:08:02 --> 00:08:05

you're ready now to think of the future, I want you to reform for

00:08:05 --> 00:08:10

me my progeny, not just my children, but my children forever,

00:08:10 --> 00:08:14

until the day of judgment. And I returned to you, meaning I make

00:08:14 --> 00:08:17

Toba and repentance, and I am of the muslimeen. And I am of the

00:08:17 --> 00:08:21

ones who submit to you. This is should be these five or six things

00:08:21 --> 00:08:24

that you just mentioned here. This is what should be our attitude

00:08:24 --> 00:08:28

around at the age of 18. Before as well. But this is where we should

00:08:28 --> 00:08:31

take a moment. And we should think about it and that would inshallah

00:08:31 --> 00:08:34

help us to determine because when you get to the age of 40, it's

00:08:34 --> 00:08:37

like you've got to the peak of your life, you look at the back.

00:08:37 --> 00:08:40

And if it's not very useful and whatever, then you feel like you

00:08:40 --> 00:08:42

want to make some changes. And sometimes some people make some

00:08:42 --> 00:08:45

crazy changes. Lots of people get divorced at this age. Lots of

00:08:45 --> 00:08:48

people have affairs at this age, lots of people buy, go out and

00:08:48 --> 00:08:52

start weird businesses and take Gamble's at this age and things

00:08:52 --> 00:08:54

like that. So you have to be very careful about it.

00:08:56 --> 00:08:59

Right now, the second one is mentioned Allah subhanaw taala

00:08:59 --> 00:09:02

mentions about this person, that with these kinds of people, we're

00:09:02 --> 00:09:05

going to accept the best of their deeds and we're going to forgive

00:09:05 --> 00:09:08

their bad deeds Nataraja was on say yet if he has herbal Jana,

00:09:08 --> 00:09:12

there will be people of paradise. And this is the truth. And now the

00:09:12 --> 00:09:17

second example is provided from verse 17. And 18 is the one who

00:09:17 --> 00:09:20

says his parents are believers. He doesn't want to be a believer,

00:09:21 --> 00:09:25

right? He doesn't want to be on faith. So he says to his parents

00:09:25 --> 00:09:28

often likoma You know the word that you're not supposed to say to

00:09:28 --> 00:09:32

us of like you know what the heck What the *? Whatever you would

00:09:32 --> 00:09:35

say today, people would say today are you telling me and then he

00:09:35 --> 00:09:37

laughs at them? Are you telling me

00:09:39 --> 00:09:42

that I'm going to come back basically even though so many

00:09:42 --> 00:09:46

people have come from before me nobody's come back. And basically

00:09:46 --> 00:09:49

they're trying they are trying their best to try to

00:09:50 --> 00:09:53

get him to come on board and believe well who am I still he

00:09:53 --> 00:09:57

found the law way look I'm in the same team will be upon you just

00:09:57 --> 00:09:59

believe is good for you believe do the right thing.

00:10:00 --> 00:10:03

But somehow innocent children just don't get it because their minds

00:10:03 --> 00:10:07

aren't formed yet to understand what they're getting into in no

00:10:07 --> 00:10:11

other lie. Allah's promise is true. They're trying to tell the

00:10:11 --> 00:10:14

child for your kulula that sulfuryl are winning. No, no,

00:10:14 --> 00:10:19

these are just all Assa T will Awali in these are just stories

00:10:19 --> 00:10:25

made up of the past people. So, Allah subhanaw taala then mentions

00:10:25 --> 00:10:29

such people then he carries on. Now, the reason why this surah is

00:10:29 --> 00:10:36

called circle, cough, cough, cough means sand dunes winding

00:10:38 --> 00:10:43

sand passes, something to do with that. So, Allah subhanaw taala

00:10:43 --> 00:10:49

then in verse 21 Rich says, Remember your brother, I had a

00:10:49 --> 00:10:54

story with God? Uh huh. I remember the brother of AD, basically, the

00:10:54 --> 00:10:55

Prophet, right.

00:10:56 --> 00:10:59

And this speaks then about

00:11:01 --> 00:11:06

who that is Salaam. He's basically he is the prophet of the ad, is

00:11:06 --> 00:11:09

under a coma who will cough when he want his people

00:11:11 --> 00:11:16

at a cough in these rolling hills. And because it's a quite a unique

00:11:16 --> 00:11:19

verse, I don't think it's ever been. It's not used much in the

00:11:19 --> 00:11:22

Quran until they've called the surah. With that name, workaholic

00:11:22 --> 00:11:24

they know during rainy day who in holvi Allah terrible do Allah

00:11:24 --> 00:11:27

Allah so easily he's telling them to worship Allah subhanaw taala

00:11:27 --> 00:11:30

and these are cough people

00:11:32 --> 00:11:38

were Masha Allah Allah had given them lots of bounties and lots of

00:11:38 --> 00:11:42

gifts. And the way they were destroyed was that several days

00:11:42 --> 00:11:46

they had of intense heat until they couldn't bear it any longer.

00:11:46 --> 00:11:50

And then after that, suddenly they see a cloud coming up for them so

00:11:50 --> 00:11:54

here you go, called the interval rainbow in the low blue and the

00:11:54 --> 00:11:56

profit finally tells him who that is and finally tells him look I'm

00:11:56 --> 00:12:00

just gonna convey to you what Allah has mentioned, for Nomura.

00:12:00 --> 00:12:03

Oh, who was stuck below odia team when they saw that cloud then

00:12:03 --> 00:12:08

suddenly come within their locality they all ran out. They

00:12:08 --> 00:12:10

all ran out the mashallah we're gonna get some rain finally,

00:12:10 --> 00:12:15

right. Call to Heather Adam Tirana. This is a cloud that's

00:12:15 --> 00:12:19

going to give us rain Bill who are Mr. Agile to me, no, this is what

00:12:19 --> 00:12:24

you are rushing to receive of the punishment, region, fee ha urban

00:12:24 --> 00:12:29

Aleem. Now this is a severe wind right in which there's an there is

00:12:29 --> 00:12:33

a severe punishment. So then a huge wind blew. And it literally

00:12:33 --> 00:12:37

mentioned that they were taken up like

00:12:38 --> 00:12:41

you know, when you have numerous insects and they just taken up,

00:12:42 --> 00:12:46

and they just flung around, and they all died to them miracle a

00:12:46 --> 00:12:48

che and that will just destroy everything. And I hate everything

00:12:48 --> 00:12:53

be Amory Robbia with the command of its load for us. bahala Euro

00:12:53 --> 00:12:56

Illa masa kinome what's interesting is, when the morning

00:12:56 --> 00:13:00

came, the only thing that could be then seen were the abodes because

00:13:00 --> 00:13:02

there were very strong people, where they were very arrogant

00:13:02 --> 00:13:05

about their strength. Because of what Allah subhanaw taala had

00:13:05 --> 00:13:08

given them. They thought that nobody because they were compared

00:13:08 --> 00:13:10

to a lot of other people in the world at the time, they were very

00:13:10 --> 00:13:13

strong. And that just led them to arrogance. That's why the belief

00:13:13 --> 00:13:18

in the hereafter is so important. believe in the hereafter is the

00:13:18 --> 00:13:24

antidote to arrogance to basically excessiveness in everything and we

00:13:24 --> 00:13:28

don't have the time to to really deal with that in depth here, but

00:13:28 --> 00:13:29

you can just think about it.

00:13:31 --> 00:13:34

Allah subhanaw taala look, I gave them everything, but then they did

00:13:34 --> 00:13:39

not listen and so on. And thereafter, the Surah

00:13:40 --> 00:13:43

it carries on with a number of other

00:13:44 --> 00:13:48

evidences of the heavens and earth and Allah subhanaw taala saying

00:13:48 --> 00:13:52

that we can resurrect anybody that we want again, and the last verse

00:13:52 --> 00:13:56

is the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam being told and us being

00:13:56 --> 00:13:59

told, you know, when we have difficulties first bit Kumar

00:13:59 --> 00:14:04

sobre, el Azmi Mina Rasul Be patient, just like the high

00:14:04 --> 00:14:09

resolution, the messengers of high resolution, right, they were

00:14:09 --> 00:14:11

patient, and

00:14:14 --> 00:14:17

he mentioned for Hallyu helicoil, common fasciae cone, I mean, it's

00:14:17 --> 00:14:17

only the

00:14:19 --> 00:14:22

it's only the transgressors that are going to be destroyed. Okay.

00:14:22 --> 00:14:27

Hamdulillah we finished that surah and I think I've covered

00:14:27 --> 00:14:31

everything that I needed to cover in there, especially the special

00:14:31 --> 00:14:36

dua remember that in verse 15, about around the age 14 midlife

00:14:36 --> 00:14:40

crisis, the next surah is a beautiful Surah that I thoroughly

00:14:40 --> 00:14:43

enjoy reading all the time. It's very unique in its rhythm. It's

00:14:43 --> 00:14:49

totally different. Pretty much all the verses and with home or come

00:14:50 --> 00:14:54

amazing the whole thing is home Oh calm. So I'll just read you a few.

00:14:56 --> 00:14:59

We're living in a quote a roofie Sabir Allah He fell in you

00:15:00 --> 00:15:04

will murder whom say yeah he mostly who bad or Whom were you

00:15:04 --> 00:15:09

the hero who will janitor out Rafa herder whom, yeah are you Halina

00:15:09 --> 00:15:13

man are you turn sobre la Hyun sarcoma youth a bit academic,

00:15:14 --> 00:15:18

while Latina Kapha move at xL la whom were Ebola Atma, whom the

00:15:18 --> 00:15:24

Lika be a new home Katie Houma la HuFa about murder home, then verse

00:15:24 --> 00:15:29

after that one missing, that he could be an Allah himolla Lavina

00:15:29 --> 00:15:35

mono Anelka Athena la Mola home. So pretty much that is the rhythm

00:15:35 --> 00:15:40

of it all the way. And it's a very fast paced. It has, it's a small

00:15:40 --> 00:15:40

Surah

00:15:41 --> 00:15:45

In general it has 38 verses four sections, very fast pace, and the

00:15:45 --> 00:15:49

main topic of it. It's called Surah to Mohammed. And one of the

00:15:49 --> 00:15:52

reasons why it's called Mohammed is because

00:15:53 --> 00:15:57

it's got the name Muhammad Sallallahu Sallam by name

00:15:57 --> 00:15:59

mentioned in here in the second verse well Latina ermine, were me

00:15:59 --> 00:16:03

to Saudi Houthi were M and will be my new zeal, Allah Muhammad. It

00:16:03 --> 00:16:07

starts off with those who disbelieve and who prevent from

00:16:07 --> 00:16:12

the Path of Allah, the actions are all gone, right that their actions

00:16:12 --> 00:16:14

are going to amount to nothing. Those people who believe and do

00:16:14 --> 00:16:19

good deeds and believe in what has been revealed. Slowly, slowly upon

00:16:19 --> 00:16:22

Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, that is the hack from the

00:16:22 --> 00:16:26

Lord, Allah subhanho wa Taala will remove from them evil deeds, and

00:16:26 --> 00:16:31

he will reform their state. So that is how the discussion begins.

00:16:31 --> 00:16:35

But then soon after, it jumps into the main topic, which is

00:16:35 --> 00:16:40

throughout. And that is why the N another name for the surah aside

00:16:40 --> 00:16:45

from Surah to Mohammed is Surah Al Qaeda, al the surah of war, the

00:16:45 --> 00:16:49

surah of fighting the surah of war, because it's got numerous

00:16:49 --> 00:16:54

laws and rulings related to laws, taking prisoners, and so on.

00:16:54 --> 00:16:58

That's why this is a Madani. Surah with 30 runs out after a lot of

00:16:58 --> 00:17:02

mucky sorrows, all the homies are murky. So as we start now with a

00:17:02 --> 00:17:06

Madani Surah, so you're going to expect some rulings here. The

00:17:06 --> 00:17:10

first set you see here is in verse four, for either lucky to live in

00:17:10 --> 00:17:14

a governor, when you do get into a war, then make sure that you do

00:17:14 --> 00:17:17

war. Well, basically, that's what he's saying, then make sure that

00:17:17 --> 00:17:20

you basically strike the next, right. So when you're in a ward

00:17:20 --> 00:17:22

and you don't mess around, then you do the correct thing. And you

00:17:22 --> 00:17:25

do the right thing, right, which is what you're there for. Now,

00:17:25 --> 00:17:28

after that, you mentioned that if you are to take any prisoners,

00:17:28 --> 00:17:31

then what should you do with that? What should you do with them, so

00:17:31 --> 00:17:32

it gives a few options.

00:17:34 --> 00:17:39

Okay, it gives a few options. And the options it provides

00:17:40 --> 00:17:45

is number one, you can either let them go, just be nice and let them

00:17:45 --> 00:17:47

go. Because maybe you don't fear that they're going to harm you

00:17:47 --> 00:17:50

again, just let them go, they just got into their whatever you let

00:17:50 --> 00:17:53

them go. Number two is get them to pay a ransom and free them on a

00:17:53 --> 00:17:58

ransom. So make them pay for it. Number three, is you can exchange

00:17:58 --> 00:18:01

them for your own prison. So you can do a prisoner swap number

00:18:01 --> 00:18:04

four, which is not mentioned here, clearly, but the other option was

00:18:04 --> 00:18:08

that they would make them slaves. Now, this isn't the time to get

00:18:08 --> 00:18:11

into slavery, but just a few basic ideas that in Islam, slavery,

00:18:11 --> 00:18:16

Islam came and inherited slavery as it was there. There is no

00:18:16 --> 00:18:18

obligation to make slaves at all you have to remember that is no

00:18:18 --> 00:18:21

big. And that's why in many of the recent wars, even Muslims have

00:18:21 --> 00:18:23

won, they have not made slaves except some crazy people.

00:18:23 --> 00:18:26

Sometimes they've done that, right, like in the recent past.

00:18:27 --> 00:18:31

The the point to make here is that in Islam, slavery is considered to

00:18:31 --> 00:18:31

be

00:18:33 --> 00:18:37

where you first bring them up into you first bring them up, and you,

00:18:37 --> 00:18:42

you, you help them basically get some respect. That's why there's

00:18:42 --> 00:18:45

huge, huge encouragement of freeing slaves in Islam, huge

00:18:45 --> 00:18:48

encouragement of freeing slaves, if you make a little mistake, you

00:18:48 --> 00:18:52

know, you break your fast, you say something weird to your wife or

00:18:52 --> 00:18:56

whatever, you free a slave and is huge. You feed them in the same

00:18:56 --> 00:18:59

way as same way and so on so forth. We've had so many other Ma,

00:19:00 --> 00:19:00

right.

00:19:02 --> 00:19:05

From dream interpreters, professors of the Quran, Mahad,

00:19:05 --> 00:19:08

the theme that were originally slaves, children of slaves. So in

00:19:08 --> 00:19:11

Islam, slavery has never stopped anybody from rising. It's a very,

00:19:12 --> 00:19:15

totally different contrasting picture of what slavery in the

00:19:15 --> 00:19:19

West looked like, about 100 years ago. Totally different. Right. And

00:19:19 --> 00:19:22

to such a degree, that in some of the regimes that we had, like, for

00:19:22 --> 00:19:24

example, towards the end of the

00:19:25 --> 00:19:29

Ibis it regime, they had slaves in high positions, after martyr

00:19:29 --> 00:19:33

Cymbala. They had season how, in fact, the cell jokes they had a

00:19:33 --> 00:19:37

lot. Then the man blew the entire dynasty ruling dynasty for like, a

00:19:37 --> 00:19:41

few 100 years that finally you know, had they lost about, I

00:19:41 --> 00:19:44

think, in Egypt, alright, who were then basically taken over by

00:19:44 --> 00:19:50

Muhammad Ali Bhatia in Egypt, the Ottomans in general. Before that,

00:19:50 --> 00:19:53

they were all slaves, the mcglue dynasty, the Sarkeesian Mahmoud

00:19:53 --> 00:19:56

dynasty, they were all originally slaves. So even in Islam, you've

00:19:56 --> 00:19:59

actually had slaves that have risen to becoming the rulers of

00:19:59 --> 00:19:59

the Muslim

00:20:00 --> 00:20:02

Community and even the Khalifa such right who declared for

00:20:02 --> 00:20:05

themselves Khilafah right away from the abutted caliphate

00:20:05 --> 00:20:10

afterwards or before it. So that's just the basic discussion. And

00:20:10 --> 00:20:11

that's why what we have is

00:20:12 --> 00:20:16

we have for example, Abdul Rahman Dybdahl. For the Allahu Anhu. Me

00:20:16 --> 00:20:21

he must have freed I don't know about 30,000 slaves or more, just

00:20:21 --> 00:20:24

one individual. That's more how many senators a huge encouragement

00:20:24 --> 00:20:27

in Islam to look after slaves. The other thing that I want to mention

00:20:27 --> 00:20:31

is that Muhammad the name Muhammad is not mentioned much throughout

00:20:31 --> 00:20:34

the Quran, but it's mentioned in at least four places. One was

00:20:34 --> 00:20:38

inserted earlier Imran one Mohammedan Illa rasuluh. We read,

00:20:38 --> 00:20:41

we went through that, as soon as there's another one sorted,

00:20:42 --> 00:20:44

there's one insert Mohammed and there's one insert that will fit

00:20:45 --> 00:20:48

then he's mentioned as Ahmed in another sort of that will be that

00:20:48 --> 00:20:51

we'll be looking at soon sort of soft Insha Allah, these are the

00:20:51 --> 00:20:55

four places everywhere else. He is the Prophet sallallahu Sallam

00:20:55 --> 00:20:58

generally addressed with Johanna bu

00:20:59 --> 00:21:01

or Rasul or

00:21:02 --> 00:21:08

some other characteristic of his right if we if we now move on to

00:21:09 --> 00:21:12

verse seven Allah subhanho wa Taala promises yeah you Alladhina

00:21:12 --> 00:21:16

amanu in turn Sorolla. So when you're in a battle situation or in

00:21:16 --> 00:21:19

any other kind of difficult situation like that, Allah is

00:21:19 --> 00:21:22

saying, oh people who believe if you assist Allah meaning if you

00:21:22 --> 00:21:25

assist his Deen if you do the right thing for his Deen sincerely

00:21:25 --> 00:21:28

for the sake of his Deen, Allah subhanaw taala is going to assist

00:21:28 --> 00:21:32

you and he's going to make you firm in your posture. He is going

00:21:32 --> 00:21:37

to settle your feet he is going to strengthen your your standing,

00:21:37 --> 00:21:40

which means that you will not waver and you will actually get

00:21:40 --> 00:21:42

more him even though you're a bit scared in the beginning Allah

00:21:42 --> 00:21:45

subhanaw taala will strengthen you just like you strengthen Musa Ali

00:21:45 --> 00:21:48

salaam even though he was frightened when it came to the

00:21:48 --> 00:21:51

magician's in front of him and so on. And then Allah mentions

00:21:51 --> 00:21:55

beautiful verse 11 Vertica. This is because he's talking about

00:21:56 --> 00:21:58

don't they travel the earth and see the destruction of all of

00:21:58 --> 00:22:00

those who didn't? Who did not believe in Allah and so on. And

00:22:00 --> 00:22:04

then Allah mentions like a clinching passage here. That is

00:22:04 --> 00:22:08

because Allah subhanaw taala is the patron and the one who looks

00:22:08 --> 00:22:12

after those who believe and the Kathleen have nobody to look after

00:22:12 --> 00:22:16

them. Just worldly people to look after nobody from the heavens, so

00:22:16 --> 00:22:20

that he can be Anala himolla Latina Armand, who were Anelka

00:22:20 --> 00:22:24

Felina la Mola home. That's why even better or hood when Abu

00:22:24 --> 00:22:28

Sufian started after they're a bit of a, you know that they come

00:22:28 --> 00:22:31

back, he started saying things to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa

00:22:31 --> 00:22:33

sallam the person told him to respond that say,

00:22:34 --> 00:22:38

Allah is our Mola Mola come and you have no Mola, we at least have

00:22:38 --> 00:22:42

somebody who takes care of us. And that's why he will look after us.

00:22:43 --> 00:22:46

Now, there's, from verse 12, there's the depiction of Paradise

00:22:46 --> 00:22:49

is beautiful, right? Unfortunately, we can't enjoy it

00:22:49 --> 00:22:51

today, you will have to enjoy it yourself in your own reading. But

00:22:51 --> 00:22:54

I just want to point out one verse from witches, verse 15,

00:22:54 --> 00:22:58

methodology natality, worried and Moutoku in the example of the

00:22:58 --> 00:23:03

paradise or the gardens that have been promised to the people of to

00:23:03 --> 00:23:06

the, to the, to the Moroccan to the righteous ones.

00:23:08 --> 00:23:12

There are four lakes in there. So this is the four lakes of paradise

00:23:12 --> 00:23:14

that are mentioned in the four streams, the beautiful streams,

00:23:14 --> 00:23:20

one is of just pure water. Another one is of pure milk, with which I

00:23:20 --> 00:23:22

mean, imagine leaving milk out for a while, I mean, that's gonna go

00:23:22 --> 00:23:25

about this is pure milk that has no bacteria in there, right? It

00:23:25 --> 00:23:29

just cannot go bad. It's just fresh for the drinking cycle,

00:23:29 --> 00:23:32

beautiful fountain that you can take from any time. And then after

00:23:32 --> 00:23:38

that, it's beautiful. Honey. Right. Pure pure honey. Right. And

00:23:38 --> 00:23:44

the other one it talks about is pure wine that will not make you

00:23:44 --> 00:23:48

lose your that will not intoxicated. This is like you get

00:23:48 --> 00:23:51

the pure taste of wine, whatever that is. Right. I've never tasted

00:23:51 --> 00:23:55

it. Right. But there must be something in it that people enjoy

00:23:55 --> 00:23:59

that taste of grapes or whatever the case. stringency, I don't know

00:23:59 --> 00:24:03

what it is. But here it's going to be humbly live that Alicia Levine

00:24:03 --> 00:24:07

it's going to be a very, very tasty pleasurable wine, but it

00:24:07 --> 00:24:10

will not intoxicate. And Allah is then saying, they're also going to

00:24:10 --> 00:24:13

get macfeather and forgiveness from the Lord can they be like the

00:24:13 --> 00:24:16

one who is going to be forever in hellfire, and he's going to be

00:24:16 --> 00:24:20

given extremely hot boiling water to drink which is going to

00:24:20 --> 00:24:25

basically decimate his his insights. All right, that carries

00:24:25 --> 00:24:29

on there's a number of other issues right now, lots of

00:24:29 --> 00:24:31

discussion here about the Mana 15.

00:24:32 --> 00:24:35

All right, lots of discussion about the monarchy because

00:24:35 --> 00:24:38

remember, they used to demoralize the Muslim army. They used to

00:24:38 --> 00:24:41

sometimes go with them and then come back. They used to spread

00:24:41 --> 00:24:44

rumors, they used to sometimes just refuse to go they used to say

00:24:44 --> 00:24:47

no, don't go there you just gonna lose and things like that. So

00:24:48 --> 00:24:50

Allah subhanaw taala in the Surah also talks about spending in the

00:24:50 --> 00:24:53

path of Allah. Right? spending in the path of Allah is discussion

00:24:53 --> 00:24:56

because when you are at war, you need a lot of money, because

00:24:56 --> 00:24:59

otherwise there's no income at that time, right until after the

00:24:59 --> 00:25:00

war and if you win you

00:25:00 --> 00:25:03

Get the booty and so on. So Allah subhanho wa Taala talks about

00:25:03 --> 00:25:06

them. For example, look at verse 29. M has the ability in a vehicle

00:25:06 --> 00:25:09

to be Maradona Lucretia Allahu Allah who will only show without a

00:25:10 --> 00:25:13

or Enoch a home fell out of the home be Sima home, whether that

00:25:13 --> 00:25:16

even a home Phila Haniel coal is just amazing this surah right?

00:25:16 --> 00:25:19

Well, lo Yeah, and Mr. Murdock one and the blue and the Cohutta.

00:25:19 --> 00:25:23

We're going to surely test you until we know who the Mujahideen

00:25:23 --> 00:25:26

are among you and those who are patient, and we're going to test

00:25:26 --> 00:25:29

you, right? And then he says that those people who prevent people

00:25:29 --> 00:25:34

from going in the path of Allah and do disputes like that, Allah

00:25:34 --> 00:25:38

subhanaw taala says that they're never gonna harm Allah. They're

00:25:38 --> 00:25:41

never going to harm Allah remember that. So be obedient to Allah and

00:25:41 --> 00:25:45

His messenger. At the end of the day, the life is just play. Life

00:25:45 --> 00:25:49

is just amusement. Right? Your real reward is in the Hereafter.

00:25:50 --> 00:25:53

And that's why the final thing Allah subhanaw taala talks about

00:25:53 --> 00:25:55

books this way he talks about vocal in the Quran, Romania,

00:25:55 --> 00:26:00

Pathfinder, Maya Cornwall, and Neff say, whoever is miserly is

00:26:00 --> 00:26:04

only going to be miserly to the detriment of themselves. Because

00:26:04 --> 00:26:07

wala hula, only Allah subhanaw taala is enriched, wealthy,

00:26:07 --> 00:26:11

independent, you're the ones who are needy, when that Avila

00:26:11 --> 00:26:13

yesterday will commonly document this is the final message, the

00:26:13 --> 00:26:18

final verse 38. If you retract, if you go back, you don't listen and

00:26:18 --> 00:26:20

you don't take part. Allah will just bring another people your

00:26:20 --> 00:26:23

step they will call Morocco Allah will just change you for somebody

00:26:23 --> 00:26:27

else. And they will not be like you then if you mess around and

00:26:27 --> 00:26:30

you're corrupt, Allah will take you away and you don't listen, he

00:26:30 --> 00:26:33

will take you and bring somebody else who will be much better than

00:26:33 --> 00:26:37

you. That's how, that's how it ends. So

00:26:39 --> 00:26:42

we now move on to certain fat, which is very complementary to the

00:26:42 --> 00:26:46

first to the sort of Mohammed This is also Medina and Surah. And this

00:26:46 --> 00:26:50

is about a very particular event. Allah subhanho wa Taala This is SS

00:26:50 --> 00:26:57

Madani Surah with 29 verses and four sections. And this you need

00:26:57 --> 00:27:00

to know you need to know the events leading up to this because

00:27:00 --> 00:27:03

it's very particular event and you won't understand the surah if you

00:27:03 --> 00:27:07

don't know the event. So let us spend some time with the event. So

00:27:07 --> 00:27:10

this is about her debut, which many of you may have already, you

00:27:10 --> 00:27:13

know may have already read about the events of her debut.

00:27:13 --> 00:27:16

Essentially what happened is Allahu Akbar as

00:27:18 --> 00:27:21

this surah actually came down after you after the event of who

00:27:21 --> 00:27:24

they be. So what is the event of who they be Buhari, Imam Buhari

00:27:24 --> 00:27:27

volunteering media and many others direct from Omar Abdullah

00:27:27 --> 00:27:29

photography Allahu anhu, that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa

00:27:29 --> 00:27:33

sallam once mentioned to them that, you know, at night, I saw a

00:27:33 --> 00:27:40

dream right now, at nighttime, there was a night he saw the dream

00:27:40 --> 00:27:43

but that was afterwards I there was a sewer that was revealed to

00:27:43 --> 00:27:48

me. And this surah is more beloved to me than the dunya the world and

00:27:48 --> 00:27:51

everything within it. Such a beautiful Surah right, it's more

00:27:51 --> 00:27:54

beloved to me. And that's the surah in Nevada Hannah, this is a

00:27:54 --> 00:27:57

very beautiful Surah beloved to Allah subhanaw taala the Prophet

00:27:57 --> 00:28:02

sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. So then he then he recited the first

00:28:02 --> 00:28:08

few verses in Fatah Hana look at him Albina Leo fear Allah Allah

00:28:08 --> 00:28:13

who met them I mean then become a meta Hora ut many meta Who are

00:28:13 --> 00:28:18

they aware DLC or autonomous del tema, while Soraka Allahu Nasaan,

00:28:18 --> 00:28:23

Aziza and it's about it's all about victory foot means victory.

00:28:24 --> 00:28:29

So we've given you the clear victory. Now this he said at a

00:28:29 --> 00:28:32

time when it seemed like they were at a disadvantage. So what exactly

00:28:32 --> 00:28:36

happened? The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam saw a dream while

00:28:36 --> 00:28:40

he's in Madina Munawwara that they are entering mcomber karma, and

00:28:40 --> 00:28:43

they're doing tawaf of the house of Allah subhanaw taala. When he

00:28:43 --> 00:28:48

presented this, he presented this dream in front of the sahaba. And

00:28:48 --> 00:28:53

they decided then the in the al Qaeda, al Qaeda, Zul Hijjah,

00:28:54 --> 00:29:00

the daqarta, begin before the hija, six, six Hijiri right to

00:29:00 --> 00:29:03

three years before the conquest of Makkah. So there were about 14 or

00:29:03 --> 00:29:06

1500, Sahaba that he took with him, and they decided to go for

00:29:06 --> 00:29:11

ombre. Right, let's go for ombre. So they left they departed. They

00:29:11 --> 00:29:13

had no they had they were didn't even have the weapons with them.

00:29:13 --> 00:29:16

They were not. In fact, we were told not to take too many weapons

00:29:16 --> 00:29:18

with them because it was to show that they were not here to war.

00:29:18 --> 00:29:21

We're here literally just to do ombre, just to visit the house of

00:29:21 --> 00:29:24

Allah subhanaw taala to do the tawaf and then we're going to

00:29:24 --> 00:29:29

leave again, right? That was it. Bishop Abner Soufiane. He told him

00:29:29 --> 00:29:33

as they were, they departed and they were a bit of a distance he

00:29:33 --> 00:29:36

was told by Bishop Minister Theon, that the people of Makkah have

00:29:36 --> 00:29:41

actually learned of the departing of the Muslims, and they actually

00:29:41 --> 00:29:44

getting ready for war. Right? So they're not going to let you in,

00:29:44 --> 00:29:47

they're going to have a war. So the Prophet Salas and that wasn't

00:29:47 --> 00:29:50

his intention. So he sent with Mahindra the Allahu Anhu. He had

00:29:50 --> 00:29:53

good ties, because he was a trader. He had good ties with some

00:29:53 --> 00:29:56

of the leaders of Makkah, so he sent him right that gone so you

00:29:56 --> 00:29:59

know, just explain to them we're not here to war. We're here live

00:30:00 --> 00:30:03

Should you just to do Amara and that's not our intention is not to

00:30:03 --> 00:30:08

fight with you. So semana de Allahu Anhu went but immediately

00:30:08 --> 00:30:10

very soon afterwards there was a rumor that went around the Earth

00:30:10 --> 00:30:13

Amanda then has been killed by them. Right now the prophets Allah

00:30:13 --> 00:30:17

some they all angry that our envoy has been killed. You don't kill

00:30:17 --> 00:30:20

envoys. I mean, that's kind of the international rule, historical

00:30:20 --> 00:30:25

law. So there was a tree, right? There was a tree that divorce,

00:30:25 --> 00:30:29

Lawson would gather under. And he, at that point took a very special

00:30:29 --> 00:30:34

pledge, a very unique pledge on that we're going to fight till the

00:30:34 --> 00:30:38

end, and we're not going to retreat until we basically deal

00:30:38 --> 00:30:42

with this situation. And that's and this became known as the beta

00:30:42 --> 00:30:46

beta means the pledge beta to Ridwan why it's called Ridwan.

00:30:46 --> 00:30:49

Ridwan means happiness and satisfaction. Because Allah

00:30:49 --> 00:30:53

subhanaw taala says Allah had revealed in verse 10, in the

00:30:53 --> 00:30:56

Latina you buy your own aka innama, you buy your own Allah,

00:30:56 --> 00:31:00

those who gave you the pledge till death, basically, the pledge the

00:31:00 --> 00:31:04

pledge for Jihad kita, then they have pledged to Allah directly.

00:31:04 --> 00:31:07

They're not just pledging to actually pledging to Allah. Allah

00:31:07 --> 00:31:10

has hand is above their hand. So why because when you take a

00:31:10 --> 00:31:12

pledge, you generally hold hands, you know, with the one you're

00:31:12 --> 00:31:14

taking pleasure in the Prophet sallallahu Psalms, he made them

00:31:14 --> 00:31:18

all take the pledge. And Allah is saying Allah's hand was above

00:31:18 --> 00:31:23

their hand Subhanallah so it became known as beta to Ridwan.

00:31:23 --> 00:31:27

And this whole matter became known as the holiday be a matter, right,

00:31:27 --> 00:31:30

which I'll explain, but he called it became called the beta to the

00:31:30 --> 00:31:32

dawn and those people who are in the beta to read one they hold a

00:31:32 --> 00:31:36

special place because they had given their life for the Prophet

00:31:36 --> 00:31:39

sallallahu alayhi wasallam however, Alhamdulillah Later, it

00:31:39 --> 00:31:42

became clear that with one of the alone had not been killed, and

00:31:42 --> 00:31:46

this was just a mere rumor. So after that, they started a

00:31:46 --> 00:31:49

discussion after a bit of back and forth they started a discussion

00:31:50 --> 00:31:52

for a treaty actually, this was a good opportunity. I've been

00:31:52 --> 00:31:55

fighting for a while. Now, let's make a treaty with the people of

00:31:55 --> 00:32:00

Makkah. So, a person called Sohail ignore armor, right? There are a

00:32:00 --> 00:32:03

few other people that person had a discussion and then So Haley

00:32:03 --> 00:32:05

Muhammad who was one of the leaders of the court, he actually

00:32:05 --> 00:32:09

became Muslim later on, right and his son was Muslim. So he came on

00:32:09 --> 00:32:12

their behalf to discuss as soon as he came in the province, Allah

00:32:12 --> 00:32:15

Simpson, okay, the matter is easy for us now. He took a good omen

00:32:15 --> 00:32:20

from his name Suhail comes from the word Sahel, which means is now

00:32:20 --> 00:32:22

inshallah the matter is made easy because Sohail has come, he used

00:32:22 --> 00:32:26

to do that quite a bit, if there was a harsh sounding, would change

00:32:26 --> 00:32:29

those names. And if it was a good thing, he would encourage a good

00:32:29 --> 00:32:33

omen. So finally, the agreement was that they would not be able to

00:32:33 --> 00:32:36

come in then that year, they could come later the next year. So they

00:32:36 --> 00:32:39

have to go back. You know, that's one way to for the courage to say

00:32:39 --> 00:32:42

face I guess, number two for 10 years, they would actually have a

00:32:42 --> 00:32:47

peace treaty. So there's going to be a ceasefire, there's going to

00:32:47 --> 00:32:50

be no more warfare. There's going to be peace treaty for 10 years.

00:32:51 --> 00:32:54

Right. Now, there were some we don't can't go into all of it, but

00:32:54 --> 00:32:58

there's a whole huge Hadith about this, you can read in the TF

00:32:58 --> 00:33:00

series and in Buhari etc. Essentially, there were some

00:33:00 --> 00:33:04

aspects of it that if anybody from Makkah came the profit or loss as

00:33:04 --> 00:33:07

a Muslim, the professor was not allowed to let them come to Madina

00:33:07 --> 00:33:10

Munawwara if anybody from Medina, Madina, Munawwara, went to Mecca,

00:33:11 --> 00:33:13

and wanted to go and join with them, they could do that they

00:33:13 --> 00:33:17

would be allowed to settle there. So it sounded very disadvantages,

00:33:17 --> 00:33:20

okay. It sounded very disadvantages. And that's why even

00:33:20 --> 00:33:23

on one of the alone, he actually said, you know, we are ready to

00:33:23 --> 00:33:25

fight what's going on? How come you've agreed to this, you know,

00:33:25 --> 00:33:28

and the person said, don't worry about it. Right. And that's why a

00:33:28 --> 00:33:31

lot, that's why when the Prophet saw some then finally returned to

00:33:31 --> 00:33:34

Madina, Munawwara with all of that, and some people are feeling

00:33:34 --> 00:33:36

really bad about it, this sort of came down to that look in

00:33:36 --> 00:33:41

disguise, this is actually a, this is actually a victory for you. And

00:33:41 --> 00:33:44

slowly, slowly, you'll realize that this is a victory for you. So

00:33:45 --> 00:33:47

the way it became a victory, several different ways we don't

00:33:47 --> 00:33:50

have the time to go into right now. But there was one person who

00:33:50 --> 00:33:54

had come from a karma karma leaders of sorry, a son of one of

00:33:54 --> 00:33:57

the leaders, and he'd become a Muslim, but he wasn't allowed to

00:33:57 --> 00:33:59

come into Madina Munawwara. So what he did was he went to see a

00:33:59 --> 00:34:03

full bar, right, this particular area at the end edge of the sea,

00:34:03 --> 00:34:07

right, and that's where lots of other people like him began to

00:34:07 --> 00:34:10

settle. All right, and they started causing problems to the

00:34:10 --> 00:34:13

people of Makkah. So they became a thorn until they realize that

00:34:13 --> 00:34:15

we've made a mistake, we should have allowed them to go to Medina,

00:34:15 --> 00:34:18

at least the province Lawson will abide by his his peace treaty, and

00:34:18 --> 00:34:21

he won't cause us any trouble. And then some several other things

00:34:21 --> 00:34:24

happen. And eventually what happened is that there was a tribe

00:34:24 --> 00:34:27

that was aligned to the people who work at that grunts aggressed,

00:34:27 --> 00:34:30

against a tribe that were aligned to the Prophet sallallahu sallam.

00:34:30 --> 00:34:33

And basically, that's when the conquest of Makkah, eventually

00:34:33 --> 00:34:37

after two years or so, took place. That's why in the year ATDD, when

00:34:37 --> 00:34:41

the when the opening of Makkah took place. As you know, the

00:34:41 --> 00:34:45

Prophet salallahu Salam had, as I mentioned, only about 1314 1500

00:34:45 --> 00:34:49

people with him in her day BIA where that peace treaty took

00:34:49 --> 00:34:54

place. Now he ends up with 10,000. Right, so when he goes into

00:34:54 --> 00:34:57

Makkah, he's got 10,000 People with him. Right and that was the

00:34:57 --> 00:34:59

benefit that Allah subhanaw taala mentioned.

00:35:00 --> 00:35:03

They were gonna get based on this glad tiding that he provided

00:35:03 --> 00:35:06

disorder. That's why the surah was beloved to the Prophet salallahu

00:35:06 --> 00:35:09

Alaihe Salam because it told him that eventually you're going to

00:35:09 --> 00:35:11

get back to Makkah, you're going to take Makkah, and that was his

00:35:11 --> 00:35:15

homeland originally. You see the one of the reasons why this was

00:35:15 --> 00:35:19

another this was a victory is because after this peace treaty

00:35:19 --> 00:35:23

trade began again. So now because of the several years of problems

00:35:23 --> 00:35:26

in between trade had stopped between them and so on. Now, a lot

00:35:26 --> 00:35:29

of the disbelievers were able to observe the Muslims very

00:35:29 --> 00:35:32

carefully, they knew these people, some of these people had been wild

00:35:32 --> 00:35:36

individuals, you know, drinkers and basically just just uncouth

00:35:36 --> 00:35:40

individuals. And now look at them. They're so respectful, they're so

00:35:40 --> 00:35:43

respectable, they're so dignified, and they're onto something and

00:35:43 --> 00:35:47

that is one of the biggest effects that is one of the biggest, you

00:35:47 --> 00:35:50

can say Dawa, you can make so because of that as well, so many

00:35:50 --> 00:35:53

people are people became Muslim. And during that time, so many

00:35:53 --> 00:35:57

others, Islam came into the heart but they weren't able to. They

00:35:57 --> 00:35:59

weren't able to bring faith yet that's going to happen when we

00:35:59 --> 00:36:03

talk about Elijah and nostril Allah he will fit right one of the

00:36:03 --> 00:36:06

last sewers, right where after the conquest of Makkah, when Macau was

00:36:06 --> 00:36:09

taken, and they saw that no punishment from God came because

00:36:09 --> 00:36:13

remember, Macau was special for everybody. Abraha he was destroyed

00:36:13 --> 00:36:16

by Allah when he tried to attack Makkah. But when the Prophet saw

00:36:16 --> 00:36:19

some took it over very easily. Now they realized that Islam must be

00:36:19 --> 00:36:23

true. So then that's when they entered into Islam fully. So, a

00:36:23 --> 00:36:26

number of other discussions take place here. And

00:36:27 --> 00:36:28

I think

00:36:29 --> 00:36:34

Allah subhanaw taala satisfaction is mentioned in verse 18. Lakota

00:36:34 --> 00:36:37

Radi Allahu annual meaning I mean, this is where Allah just showers,

00:36:37 --> 00:36:41

his satisfaction, his praise until it lager, Allah is so satisfied

00:36:41 --> 00:36:45

with the believers, when they if you by your own luck, you know,

00:36:45 --> 00:36:48

when they gave you that pledge that a shirt or under a tree,

00:36:49 --> 00:36:51

right once you make it very specific, he knew what's in their

00:36:51 --> 00:36:55

heart. So then Allah subhanaw taala gave Sakina to them, he

00:36:55 --> 00:37:00

cause tranquility to descend upon them. And he gave them basically

00:37:00 --> 00:37:05

the, the, the huge victory and one Maha Nima kathira. Tanya who don't

00:37:05 --> 00:37:10

and they're going to have huge amounts of, of war, spoils and

00:37:10 --> 00:37:13

everything else. And Allah subhanaw gives them a lot of

00:37:13 --> 00:37:17

promises in all of that. And then of course, he takes to task some

00:37:17 --> 00:37:23

of those people who used to stop people from from going in and

00:37:23 --> 00:37:26

tried to cause distraction to the believers, the monarch again,

00:37:26 --> 00:37:33

basically, right? And that's why Allah says in verse 26, is

00:37:33 --> 00:37:36

Geraldine a couple of equally will be human hammy at the HMI at lJd

00:37:36 --> 00:37:39

avanza la Sakeena toe Allah rasool Allah, meaning and all of these

00:37:39 --> 00:37:45

others. Other verses. The final verses of these are very prominent

00:37:45 --> 00:37:47

verses that you would you would know about.

00:37:48 --> 00:37:53

Allah subhanaw taala says in verse 27, Allah remember the dream that

00:37:53 --> 00:37:56

probably is awesome. So it says He Allah got Sadaqa Allahu Rasulo

00:37:56 --> 00:37:59

Rukia Bill Huck, Allah subhanho wa Taala will confirm the Prophet

00:37:59 --> 00:38:04

sallallahu Ellison's dream, right, let that hold on. Let that hold

00:38:04 --> 00:38:08

Lunel. Masjidul haram insha Allah Who Amany you will surely and

00:38:08 --> 00:38:13

certainly enter into Masjidul haram if Allah wills safely

00:38:14 --> 00:38:17

Mahalik Lena Rosa Kumar, maka serene, either with your hair head

00:38:17 --> 00:38:22

shaved for your, your ombre, right or your hair cut right after your

00:38:22 --> 00:38:26

ombre. Let the halfmoon don't fear. Allah knows what you do not

00:38:26 --> 00:38:30

know. So he's giving comfort to those who felt that this was

00:38:30 --> 00:38:35

disadvantages. Right. And Allah subhanaw taala is promising over

00:38:35 --> 00:38:36

and over again. That's why it's called spiritual faith because

00:38:36 --> 00:38:40

that is discussed so many times. And finally Allah subhanaw taala

00:38:40 --> 00:38:43

says he is the one who sent His messenger to you with guidance and

00:38:43 --> 00:38:48

the right right beam right so that it can eventually dominate all

00:38:48 --> 00:38:52

other religions. And Allah is sufficient witness to this. And

00:38:52 --> 00:38:56

already today Islam has dominated all religions in terms of proof,

00:38:56 --> 00:39:01

historicity comprehensiveness, answers to many of the maladies of

00:39:01 --> 00:39:05

the world no other religion has that sold for false pretenses.

00:39:05 --> 00:39:09

Islam is very comprehensive to the modern mind in that regard. And

00:39:09 --> 00:39:12

then after that Allah subhanaw taala says Muhammad is the

00:39:12 --> 00:39:16

Messenger of Allah Muhammad Rasul Allah, beautiful Allahumma Salli,

00:39:16 --> 00:39:20

ala sayyidina, Muhammad, then Allah praises the Sahaba and he

00:39:20 --> 00:39:23

says those who are with him, right a ship that one could find when it

00:39:23 --> 00:39:26

comes to battle, they are severe, right? They do their part they

00:39:26 --> 00:39:31

play their they do their battle very well. But rowhammer obey

00:39:31 --> 00:39:36

Nahum. They are extremely merciful between themselves. Now, they

00:39:36 --> 00:39:40

don't have post traumatic stress disorder. Right? These people they

00:39:40 --> 00:39:43

know exactly when to fight and when not to fight. They're not

00:39:43 --> 00:39:46

people will come back crazy and do crazy things. All right, whether

00:39:46 --> 00:39:49

they're Muslim or non Muslim, these are good people. And that's

00:39:49 --> 00:39:51

what Allah subhanaw taala mean, then he mentioned a number of

00:39:51 --> 00:39:57

examples and so on. And that's how he finally ends. That this is a

00:39:57 --> 00:39:59

Allah's promise to the people who believe and do good deeds

00:40:00 --> 00:40:04

Allah has promised them basically forgiveness and a huge reward.

00:40:04 --> 00:40:09

Please do read this for yourself to enjoy it further. See, just one

00:40:09 --> 00:40:12

more point I want to mention if you look at verse 11 to 14

00:40:14 --> 00:40:19

it says that the munaf up when they went when the when the

00:40:19 --> 00:40:21

believers were leaving, they thought they're going to die and

00:40:21 --> 00:40:23

they're not going to come back. So half they will get kind of getting

00:40:23 --> 00:40:27

happy that good return. So you're saying Belle Vernon to Allah calls

00:40:27 --> 00:40:32

them out. He says you thought that the messenger and the believers

00:40:32 --> 00:40:36

are never going to come back to their families. layan caliber

00:40:36 --> 00:40:39

rasool Allah, Allah Allah Allah him Aveda. Right was the energetic

00:40:39 --> 00:40:42

of economy and that became like the beautiful thought in your

00:40:42 --> 00:40:45

heart. Right? That was something you were getting very excited

00:40:45 --> 00:40:49

about was done into oneness. So and you

00:40:51 --> 00:40:55

entertained many different ideas and plans, but you're destroyed

00:40:55 --> 00:41:01

people. So that's something to, to promise that don't don't ever

00:41:04 --> 00:41:08

don't ever distract people from good things, right if you can't do

00:41:08 --> 00:41:13

it yourself. Now let us move on to sorbitol who Gerards we've still

00:41:13 --> 00:41:18

got a lot to do sort of how gerat Allahu Akbar is got so many

00:41:18 --> 00:41:22

rulings how gerat is the pillar of Hydra which means the room and

00:41:22 --> 00:41:24

this is in reference to the rooms of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi

00:41:24 --> 00:41:27

wa sallam, the desert Arabs, a lot of the Bedouins are being

00:41:27 --> 00:41:30

discussed in the Quran. Essentially, what used to happen

00:41:30 --> 00:41:33

is they used to come and just like in the away from outside their

00:41:33 --> 00:41:38

tents or wherever they lived in, in in the outside in the deserts,

00:41:38 --> 00:41:41

they would just call out. Oh Mohamed, help us out. We need you,

00:41:41 --> 00:41:46

we need to talk to you. So this one, this sort of has another

00:41:46 --> 00:41:51

name, while it's called circle who gerat rooms or chambers. It's also

00:41:51 --> 00:41:51

called

00:41:53 --> 00:41:57

the sorbitol. Allah will add up the surah of character and

00:41:57 --> 00:42:00

etiquette because there's so many etiquette celebree going to be

00:42:00 --> 00:42:04

mentioned in here. So let me just quick go through them. It starts

00:42:04 --> 00:42:07

off by saying oh, people who believe you Alladhina amanu. We've

00:42:07 --> 00:42:10

mentioned several times here because it's in Medina and Surah

00:42:10 --> 00:42:14

telling the people of belief, true belief what to do, okay to believe

00:42:14 --> 00:42:14

do not,

00:42:16 --> 00:42:20

essentially don't try to surpass and go over the profits or loss. I

00:42:20 --> 00:42:23

mean, your rulings and so on. If you don't get something, ask him,

00:42:23 --> 00:42:25

don't try to make it up for yourself. That is kind of the gist

00:42:25 --> 00:42:29

of what he's saying here. Then it says Do not raise your voice above

00:42:29 --> 00:42:31

the voice of the Prophet sallallahu Sallam be calm about

00:42:31 --> 00:42:34

the several incidents of how some of the Sahaba even interpreted

00:42:34 --> 00:42:38

this, there was one so have you had a very loud voice. And he just

00:42:38 --> 00:42:42

stopped speaking for a while, like I'm scared. Right? So this was

00:42:42 --> 00:42:46

mainly focused on these uncouth people that used to come in who

00:42:46 --> 00:42:50

have monastic or whatever, some of them, and so on. And then the

00:42:50 --> 00:42:53

Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam, Allah subhanaw taala is

00:42:53 --> 00:42:56

talking to so that's why even today when we're by the grave of

00:42:56 --> 00:42:58

the prophets, Allah and because we believe the person is alive, we do

00:42:58 --> 00:43:01

not raise our voice there. That's why I get really perturbed when

00:43:01 --> 00:43:04

sometimes some of those people who are standing there, you know, say

00:43:04 --> 00:43:07

things to people, I mean, and not do it nicely where they tell

00:43:07 --> 00:43:10

people to stop doing this. Sometimes people do do crazy

00:43:10 --> 00:43:12

things down there. But then sometimes those people do get a

00:43:12 --> 00:43:17

bit bit over energetic bit overzealous and and they should be

00:43:17 --> 00:43:20

careful about that. And I've just always thinking that So hello,

00:43:20 --> 00:43:23

when people like who they fee and others when they're reciting the

00:43:23 --> 00:43:25

Quran by the grace of the Prophet sallallahu Nebras. Larson was

00:43:25 --> 00:43:28

listening to them. What an amazing honor that is Allahu Akbar. What

00:43:28 --> 00:43:33

an amazing honor that is, anyway, that people are being told to

00:43:33 --> 00:43:35

become that the person will come out to you and then that will be

00:43:35 --> 00:43:39

better for you rather than trying to rush him out and so on. And now

00:43:39 --> 00:43:42

a very prominent verse, verse six, keep this in mind, or people who

00:43:42 --> 00:43:48

believe if a an unrighteous transgressor disbeliever a sinner

00:43:48 --> 00:43:51

comes to you with any bit of information, then make sure that

00:43:51 --> 00:43:55

you verify it, just so that you don't attack somebody, you you

00:43:55 --> 00:43:58

don't attack somebody through ignorance. And then after that,

00:43:58 --> 00:44:02

you become very regretful, I mean, that WhatsApp forwards, this is a

00:44:02 --> 00:44:05

this is a Quranic verse for that. Don't just forget everything you

00:44:05 --> 00:44:10

receive. Right? Don't just forget everything you receive. And be

00:44:10 --> 00:44:13

very careful about what the media says, right? All these various

00:44:13 --> 00:44:16

media outlets, I mean, I don't have to name them. They're more

00:44:16 --> 00:44:19

than facet team, right? They're more than basically transgressors.

00:44:19 --> 00:44:23

They're there just to make a buck out of, you know, drama, and about

00:44:23 --> 00:44:26

sensationalism. So be very careful. Don't just follow thing.

00:44:26 --> 00:44:29

I mean, don't be like the normal Tim, Doc, Tom, Dick and Harry who

00:44:29 --> 00:44:32

just forwards things on or believes everything they they read

00:44:32 --> 00:44:36

or hear. And then it says that in the next verse in verse seven,

00:44:36 --> 00:44:39

that know that you have the Messenger of Allah in with you.

00:44:39 --> 00:44:44

And if he was to follow you in a lot of the stuff that you just

00:44:44 --> 00:44:48

talked about, then you know, it would be very difficult. And you

00:44:48 --> 00:44:50

know, you'd be he would be harmed. I mean, he can't follow in

00:44:50 --> 00:44:53

everything that he says. But Allah subhanaw taala is talking to the

00:44:53 --> 00:44:56

Sahaba now that Allah has made Iman beloved in your heart, and

00:44:56 --> 00:44:59

he's adorned in your hearts, and he's made disbelieve

00:45:01 --> 00:45:04

despicable in your site, and likewise transgression or is

00:45:04 --> 00:45:07

despicable in your site, and these are the guided ones. If you have

00:45:07 --> 00:45:10

that kind of a feeling, then Inshallah, according to this, we

00:45:10 --> 00:45:14

are believers, this is a funnel from Allah. Now, because it's all

00:45:14 --> 00:45:17

about a dub and a HELOC. Allah subhanaw taala mentioned some

00:45:17 --> 00:45:20

social etiquette, that sometimes what's going to happen is because

00:45:20 --> 00:45:23

of small things that might happen, a rumor may be spread. And because

00:45:23 --> 00:45:27

of that people see it's all very connected, a rumor may be spread,

00:45:27 --> 00:45:31

and you don't careful about what you hear. And you just then act

00:45:31 --> 00:45:34

upon jump to conclusions. And then you act upon what is being said,

00:45:35 --> 00:45:38

just like that, you may end up fighting with your own brothers,

00:45:38 --> 00:45:41

right. So that discussion is that tried to first calm it down, try

00:45:41 --> 00:45:45

to reform it. And at the end of the day, if it doesn't get

00:45:45 --> 00:45:47

reformed, and those who are on the wrong, you can actually fight

00:45:47 --> 00:45:49

against them. But at the end of the day, remember that your

00:45:49 --> 00:45:53

believers are all brothers. In the moment, we know that. That's a

00:45:53 --> 00:45:57

very important verse, verse 10. So try to reform the relationships

00:45:57 --> 00:46:01

between your brothers and have Taqwa so that you can be, you can

00:46:01 --> 00:46:04

have mercy after that Allah subhanaw. Taala is telling us a

00:46:04 --> 00:46:07

number of ways. And that's why anybody who's got this kind of

00:46:07 --> 00:46:11

aggressive attitude, anybody who's generally getting into tiffs, and

00:46:11 --> 00:46:13

disputes and things like that they should read this carefully,

00:46:13 --> 00:46:15

because there are several laws that are mentioned in here in the

00:46:15 --> 00:46:19

next verses. Right? From verse 11. Onwards, Allah says, number one,

00:46:19 --> 00:46:23

don't mock one another. Right? mentioned not mock men, women,

00:46:23 --> 00:46:26

whatever, nobody should mock anybody, it's very likely and

00:46:26 --> 00:46:27

possible that they actually

00:46:28 --> 00:46:31

they may be better than you in the sight of Allah. Number two, you

00:46:31 --> 00:46:34

should not curse people, and accuse people and things like

00:46:34 --> 00:46:38

that. You should not basically make up wrong names for people,

00:46:38 --> 00:46:43

right? You should not make bad nicknames for people, and so on.

00:46:43 --> 00:46:46

And Allah says, Well, whoever doesn't repent from this, then

00:46:46 --> 00:46:48

these are the people who are oppressed, then Allah subhanaw

00:46:48 --> 00:46:53

taala says that avoid, conjecture, avoid speculation, avoid evil

00:46:53 --> 00:46:56

thoughts, some people just naturally like that they need to

00:46:56 --> 00:46:59

get help. All right, and others sometimes you have to remember

00:46:59 --> 00:47:03

shaytaan causes a huge issue and that's why in the back of the

00:47:03 --> 00:47:06

Nisman, some of your thoughts are pure sin, they will just lead you

00:47:06 --> 00:47:10

to sin. Then Allah says, beyond that, you know, just to verify

00:47:10 --> 00:47:13

things don't go and spy Allah to justice with the spying is

00:47:13 --> 00:47:18

mentioned. Don't go and spy. And then to add to that, do not make

00:47:18 --> 00:47:23

Heba to one another, do not back by one another. And then, because

00:47:23 --> 00:47:26

Backbiting is so bad, Allah subhanaw taala in verse 13,

00:47:26 --> 00:47:28

explains all the evils of backbiting. So look at what he

00:47:28 --> 00:47:32

says. He says, Do you want to eat your brother's flesh? People don't

00:47:32 --> 00:47:35

eat human flesh. We're not cannibals. Backbiting is like

00:47:35 --> 00:47:38

eating a human flesh. Not just any human but your own brother's

00:47:38 --> 00:47:41

flesh. When would you ever do that? Right?

00:47:43 --> 00:47:49

And number two, your brother who's dead? So it's just evil upon evil

00:47:49 --> 00:47:53

upon evil, despicable nature? Absolutely. And then Allah

00:47:53 --> 00:47:55

subhanaw taala then mentioned another reason why you might

00:47:55 --> 00:47:59

argue, so then he, because this is what a lot of people arguing the

00:47:59 --> 00:48:04

world about, right? Your color, your tribe, your ethnicity. So

00:48:04 --> 00:48:09

Allah says in verse 13, we created you all from a mother and a

00:48:09 --> 00:48:14

father. And then we made you you split you up into tribes, and

00:48:14 --> 00:48:17

clans and things like that, so that you can gain some recognition

00:48:17 --> 00:48:20

or one of the in terms of your traits and your customs and think

00:48:20 --> 00:48:21

that's just for your benefit.

00:48:23 --> 00:48:27

What's really matters to Allah, the Most Benevolent to the two, in

00:48:27 --> 00:48:31

the sight of Allah is the one who's most righteous, not who has

00:48:31 --> 00:48:34

more there. So who is from this certain family and whatever.

00:48:34 --> 00:48:38

Again, this is a verse that would count down so many of the problems

00:48:38 --> 00:48:41

we have in many parts of the Muslim world, if only people can

00:48:41 --> 00:48:42

listen.

00:48:43 --> 00:48:47

Then talking to some of the desert Arabs who had openly brought faith

00:48:47 --> 00:48:50

but inside they weren't fully there yet. So Allah subhanaw taala

00:48:50 --> 00:48:54

is telling them that tell the Arab, the desert Arab say that we

00:48:54 --> 00:48:59

believe ie inside so no, you do not fully believe that inside.

00:48:59 --> 00:49:03

Because it just instead say, a slum now say we are Muslim, like

00:49:03 --> 00:49:07

outwardly expressing our faith, because Iman has not entered your

00:49:07 --> 00:49:10

heart yet. Then Allah explains who the real believers are in verse

00:49:10 --> 00:49:13

15, that the real believers are those who believe in Allah and the

00:49:13 --> 00:49:16

messenger, and then they're not doubtful ever. They have no doubt

00:49:16 --> 00:49:18

at all. I mean, a lot of these people still had doubt because

00:49:18 --> 00:49:20

they were not fully into Islam. And that's where they had doubt.

00:49:20 --> 00:49:24

That's where they say they don't doubt and they basically strive

00:49:24 --> 00:49:27

and do jihad with their wealth and their lives in the path of Allah

00:49:27 --> 00:49:31

and these are truthful people. And then after that, he carries on and

00:49:31 --> 00:49:33

says that you must, you must

00:49:35 --> 00:49:39

thank Allah subhanaw taala that you know you are believers and so

00:49:39 --> 00:49:43

on. Allah subhanho wa Taala knows the Unseen matters of the heavens

00:49:43 --> 00:49:48

and the earth, and Allah is absolutely vigilant over what you

00:49:48 --> 00:49:53

do. And by that we end the surah Taha gerat I've already pointed

00:49:53 --> 00:49:56

out the the main verses in there pretty much point out the whole

00:49:56 --> 00:49:59

thing because it was all very, very relevant. Very Derek

00:50:00 --> 00:50:04

it and lo so read it over again so that inshallah you can, you can

00:50:04 --> 00:50:07

benefit from it more. That's why the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa

00:50:07 --> 00:50:10

sallam once in a hadith he said that Allah subhanaw taala is

00:50:10 --> 00:50:14

removed from you, all of these weird ideas of jalahalli all the

00:50:14 --> 00:50:17

ways that you would basically become arrogant against one

00:50:17 --> 00:50:22

another, all of the and you're taking pride in boasting about

00:50:22 --> 00:50:25

your father's over one another one of that Allah has had them Allah

00:50:25 --> 00:50:28

has ended it. So at the end of the day, now it's all going to be

00:50:28 --> 00:50:33

about Taqwa. Now, let's start Siewert cough syrup cough is the

00:50:33 --> 00:50:37

is a Surah that you recite in the darkness of the night. I remember

00:50:37 --> 00:50:42

we went on a retreat to the San Bernardino Mountains, which is

00:50:42 --> 00:50:47

just off to the side, outside LA. And it was nighttime. And

00:50:47 --> 00:50:51

basically the one guy in the front he he led us right through the

00:50:51 --> 00:50:54

woods, there's just complete darkness. I think he had a light.

00:50:54 --> 00:50:57

And basically it was just leaving us we just following one another

00:50:57 --> 00:51:01

in absolute darkness just to get into the nature. And then we

00:51:01 --> 00:51:05

stopped somewhere and then I had to deliver sort of a sort of

00:51:05 --> 00:51:10

cough. And it's amazing reflection. Allah subhanaw taala

00:51:10 --> 00:51:15

uses various different evidences to explain the importance of iman,

00:51:15 --> 00:51:19

the importance of the life of the hereafter the fickleness of this

00:51:19 --> 00:51:23

world, the challenges that will people will face on the Day of

00:51:23 --> 00:51:27

Judgment, how anybody that you thought were your friends, and

00:51:27 --> 00:51:29

that were doing good things for you, they will not be able to

00:51:29 --> 00:51:33

avoid you avail you on that day. Then Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:51:33 --> 00:51:37

mentions the arguments that will please take place on that data,

00:51:37 --> 00:51:38

hey, we didn't, you know,

00:51:40 --> 00:51:42

we we didn't lead you

00:51:44 --> 00:51:47

astray, right. We didn't lead you astray. You know, we weren't

00:51:47 --> 00:51:51

holding you down. It's up to you. You did it that it was you that

00:51:51 --> 00:51:55

did it. Allah subhanaw taala then mentioned in verse 18, male field

00:51:55 --> 00:51:59

women Colin Illa de Hiraki Bonati saying how aware Allah is that it

00:51:59 --> 00:52:04

doesn't matter any statement you make Allah subhanho wa Taala is

00:52:04 --> 00:52:07

there rocky bone it which basically means ever watchful and

00:52:07 --> 00:52:12

ever prepared, right Allah never forget the angels, even Allah

00:52:12 --> 00:52:15

subhanho wa Taala is always and even the angels this could be

00:52:15 --> 00:52:20

referring to angels and Allah subhanaw taala is always right,

00:52:20 --> 00:52:21

fully vigilant.

00:52:23 --> 00:52:27

Allah subhanho wa Taala then says before the inverse 16 We created

00:52:27 --> 00:52:30

the insan we created the human being Why not Allah mama towards

00:52:30 --> 00:52:33

Swiss will be enough so we know exactly what their

00:52:34 --> 00:52:37

what their soul is whispering what their heart is saying what they're

00:52:37 --> 00:52:40

saying in turn the internal discourse should I do that?

00:52:40 --> 00:52:43

Shouldn't I do that I should do that and plotting whatever. Allah

00:52:43 --> 00:52:49

knows it. Because this is that famous verse, verse 1816, one 100

00:52:49 --> 00:52:53

acabo la HeMan. Humble worried, because we're closer to the human

00:52:53 --> 00:52:56

being being then there jugular vein. Before that, it was all

00:52:56 --> 00:52:59

discussions about the various different loot or asylums, people

00:52:59 --> 00:53:03

and all the others as horrible a call we took back as hub Russ

00:53:03 --> 00:53:08

ThermoWood, and their discretion disk destruction because of what

00:53:08 --> 00:53:12

they did, and so on. Thereafter, the you know, from verse 20

00:53:12 --> 00:53:16

onwards, it's all about the trumpet being blown, the Day of

00:53:16 --> 00:53:20

Judgment occurring, and then very graphic discourses of what happens

00:53:20 --> 00:53:24

on that day. Then Allah subhanaw taala sounds really, really

00:53:24 --> 00:53:30

horrific in really terrifying words. He says in verse 20, in

00:53:30 --> 00:53:34

verse 30, actually, Yeoman aku really Jahannam the day when we

00:53:34 --> 00:53:37

will say to the Hellfire hilum tell it how you are you filled yet

00:53:38 --> 00:53:41

what could you help me messy No, give me more give me more is there

00:53:41 --> 00:53:44

more. But then immediately afterwards Allah brings about the

00:53:44 --> 00:53:48

believers but Jana Paradise would be brought close to the Medaka and

00:53:48 --> 00:53:52

it won't be too far away. This is what you are promised. Those who

00:53:52 --> 00:53:56

fear Allah fear Rahman, unseen, our faith is about the unseen. You

00:53:56 --> 00:54:00

can't see everything in our faith. When you give sadaqa you know,

00:54:00 --> 00:54:03

unseen that you're gonna get Rick, you're gonna get a response by

00:54:03 --> 00:54:06

from Allah for that. It's not about interest that you can see

00:54:06 --> 00:54:10

your capital is guaranteed and you get interest on top, which will be

00:54:10 --> 00:54:13

called the money. These are the people who come with this

00:54:13 --> 00:54:16

repentant heart. May Allah give us make us one of those, again, with

00:54:16 --> 00:54:20

Hulu Hubie salaam entered our paradise with absolute safety and

00:54:20 --> 00:54:23

peace, daddy Kaoma Hollywood Lahoma Ayesha Organifi, how well

00:54:23 --> 00:54:26

are they numbers eat? And then again, Allah goes back to

00:54:26 --> 00:54:29

discussing those people who are stronger than the people of

00:54:29 --> 00:54:33

Makkah. Right? And they were much more stronger, they had more

00:54:33 --> 00:54:36

wealth than you and everything and they were destroyed. Then Allah

00:54:36 --> 00:54:38

mentioned something about the creation whatever we created the

00:54:38 --> 00:54:41

heavens and earth and everything in between in six days. We were

00:54:41 --> 00:54:45

not tired from this. We were not fatigued by this. So now you be

00:54:45 --> 00:54:48

make supper. You make supper. Now, you know you make supper about

00:54:48 --> 00:54:53

what they say and praise your Lord, before the sunrise is in the

00:54:53 --> 00:54:58

morning, and before rube before it sets. So this is verse 39. You can

00:54:58 --> 00:54:59

see then from the nighters

00:55:00 --> 00:55:03

Well praise your Lord. And what at the bar sujood and after your

00:55:03 --> 00:55:09

frustrations, and so on. And then Allah subhana wa Tada then says

00:55:09 --> 00:55:12

right at the end for that Kerrville Qurani may have Why'd

00:55:13 --> 00:55:18

you give a reminder through the Quran to those who fear our

00:55:18 --> 00:55:21

warnings? Those are the people who are going to benefit from the

00:55:21 --> 00:55:24

Quran. Because Allah says Nano, Allah will be my Hakuna. In the

00:55:24 --> 00:55:27

last verse, we know exactly what they're saying, mama and daddy,

00:55:27 --> 00:55:31

him Bucha. But you can't force them. You can't compel them. Like

00:55:31 --> 00:55:34

you don't have the ability to compel them that's up to Allah. So

00:55:34 --> 00:55:39

just give guidance, and Naseeha and advice to those who are

00:55:39 --> 00:55:43

concerned about the Day of Judgment. So sort of cough is a

00:55:43 --> 00:55:49

murky surah. Right, as you can see already, right, fortify verses and

00:55:49 --> 00:55:53

split into four sections. Again, some of the most basic aspects

00:55:54 --> 00:55:58

we've just covered. They've been mentioned in the resurrection is

00:55:58 --> 00:56:01

another discussion, which we didn't do. But you can see all of

00:56:01 --> 00:56:04

I basically covered pretty much everything in there. There's a lot

00:56:04 --> 00:56:07

of prominent verses in there, which I have mentioned that you

00:56:07 --> 00:56:10

can really focus on. But again, one day, take a translation of

00:56:10 --> 00:56:14

this, make it dark, so you can only see this and just sit down

00:56:14 --> 00:56:19

with a clear mind, focus on Allah and read this and you will be in

00:56:19 --> 00:56:22

tears in no time, you will be in tears in no time when you reflect

00:56:22 --> 00:56:26

over everything that Allah is saying to you. It's a very, very,

00:56:27 --> 00:56:31

very, very sensitive, very emotive discussion that's taking place in

00:56:31 --> 00:56:32

there.

00:56:34 --> 00:56:39

Finally, the last chapter we have is salt of the earth. Another

00:56:39 --> 00:56:41

thing that I want to point out is salt cough. If you look at the

00:56:41 --> 00:56:44

beginning of salt cough, it resembled the beginning of it

00:56:44 --> 00:56:49

resembles in several verses and in the way its style is to sort of

00:56:49 --> 00:56:54

sod which we've already covered. So check out sort of Assad. And so

00:56:54 --> 00:56:58

to cover those who have already know this, that there's for work

00:56:58 --> 00:57:01

differences, and IG and

00:57:03 --> 00:57:06

we call it Big One gentleman for Carl Garfield, what Kyle Caffee

00:57:06 --> 00:57:09

rune and some people could get confused between the two. But

00:57:09 --> 00:57:12

that's an interesting point to look into as to the differences.

00:57:12 --> 00:57:16

One starts with Assad. One starts with a cough, on the Day of

00:57:16 --> 00:57:18

Judgment, we'll find out Inshallah, in the hereafter what

00:57:18 --> 00:57:20

sodden cough meant, and we can then see what the similarity is

00:57:20 --> 00:57:25

then, right until then, it's just estimation. Okay, the last sort of

00:57:25 --> 00:57:29

that we're going to cover which is half in this 26 pages. It's sort

00:57:29 --> 00:57:33

of to that yet, it's quite only a four page sorter, or three pages

00:57:33 --> 00:57:37

in some most apps, but it has 60 verses, but very, very short

00:57:37 --> 00:57:41

verses look at this one earlier, the Hurva Valhalla melotti Wykoff,

00:57:41 --> 00:57:45

Algeria to use Rafael Moca Sumati, Amara, in number two I do and

00:57:45 --> 00:57:48

Allah sodic. So in those first four verses, Allah is taking an

00:57:48 --> 00:57:52

oath, by what by the wind, and it's various different functions,

00:57:52 --> 00:57:56

the way the way it causes different things to happen, like

00:57:56 --> 00:58:02

lifting the clouds, and and and so on. Right, so it's all an oath by

00:58:02 --> 00:58:03

the winds. And

00:58:06 --> 00:58:09

what is the reasoning for this oath, it's mentioned here, that

00:58:09 --> 00:58:13

what you've been promised, is surely going to occur, what you're

00:58:13 --> 00:58:17

being promised or you're warned against, all of that is going to

00:58:17 --> 00:58:21

occur. So Allah is taking an oath by these mighty wins, right? That

00:58:21 --> 00:58:26

all of this is going to occur. And that this, this, and then Allah

00:58:26 --> 00:58:30

discusses several different phenomena. And then after that,

00:58:30 --> 00:58:35

Allah subhanaw taala discusses the believers and some of their

00:58:35 --> 00:58:38

traits. So let's look at that says in the loop, ducky and FE

00:58:38 --> 00:58:42

Jannetty. What are you in the mood Turkey in those who are righteous?

00:58:42 --> 00:58:46

They're going to be in Jannat and Aryan, right? They're going to be

00:58:46 --> 00:58:51

in orchards, and in springs, gardens and in springs, and taking

00:58:51 --> 00:58:55

whatever Allah subhanaw taala has given to them. Why because before

00:58:55 --> 00:58:58

that, they used to do good. So they used to do good, so Allah

00:58:58 --> 00:59:02

will do good to them. And they used to sleep very little at

00:59:02 --> 00:59:06

night, can will Kareena Mina lady by her own verse 17.

00:59:07 --> 00:59:12

Sleep very less at night, you see in England is very difficult. In

00:59:12 --> 00:59:15

some of these countries that are not closer to the equator, it's

00:59:15 --> 00:59:19

very difficult because the summer and winter, sunrise sunset times

00:59:19 --> 00:59:22

are just all over the place. Whereas when you're closer to the

00:59:22 --> 00:59:26

equator, like in Arabia and places like that, it's much easier to

00:59:26 --> 00:59:29

have a schedule sleep at a particular time wake up at about

00:59:29 --> 00:59:32

prefigured at a particular time. You go places like

00:59:34 --> 00:59:38

Sri Lanka, Maldives and other places close to the equator,

00:59:38 --> 00:59:42

there's only like a half an hour separation difference in Maghrib

00:59:42 --> 00:59:45

times. It doesn't move much more. I think in Saudi it's maybe one

00:59:45 --> 00:59:49

hour or something still not bad. So you can actually manage your

00:59:49 --> 00:59:55

time but in England, it goes from four o'clock Maghrib to 1030 1045

00:59:55 --> 00:59:58

and more in Scotland and other places. And then in Norway, it's

00:59:58 --> 01:00:00

even more crazy. Alright, so

01:00:00 --> 01:00:04

So, we do our best but at least in the month of Ramadan, especially

01:00:04 --> 01:00:08

in these higher climates where there's very less time for after

01:00:08 --> 01:00:13

Isha, then then Insha Allah, may Allah accept us, for those who

01:00:13 --> 01:00:17

sleep very less at night. And then after doing that worship all

01:00:17 --> 01:00:21

night, or at the end portion of the night, at the end of the

01:00:21 --> 01:00:24

night, they are making Istighfar will as Harry whom your stuff your

01:00:24 --> 01:00:28

own, and then they have a right in their wealth, there's a wealth in

01:00:28 --> 01:00:33

there, right for people who ask them and for others, right. So,

01:00:33 --> 01:00:35

basically they spend, they give sadaqa.

01:00:36 --> 01:00:41

And then after that it carries on the discussion. And then Allah

01:00:41 --> 01:00:44

subhanaw taala reminds us of the story of Ibrahim alayhi salam and

01:00:44 --> 01:00:47

the angels that came to them, and how he thought they were just

01:00:47 --> 01:00:50

human beings and guests are then immediately, according to his

01:00:50 --> 01:00:55

etiquette, he went and he brought this roasted meat, but then he saw

01:00:55 --> 01:00:58

that they were not eating, and then after that, they gave him the

01:00:58 --> 01:01:04

glad tidings of his wife, and, and so on. And that Surah then adds

01:01:04 --> 01:01:08

ends with that. See, Allah subhanho wa Taala in between says

01:01:08 --> 01:01:11

for the summer it will all be in hula cometh Lemma and the content

01:01:11 --> 01:01:15

taken for Office summer it is cocoa mama to Adam, in the heavens

01:01:15 --> 01:01:21

is your sustenance and many things that you've been promised. So what

01:01:21 --> 01:01:24

does that mean? What Why is there sustenance and we don't get things

01:01:24 --> 01:01:27

coming down to us packages dropped, right? Unless you're in a

01:01:27 --> 01:01:31

war zone, you don't get that. So what is that disgusting? Well,

01:01:31 --> 01:01:34

obviously one of the main sources of our existence here is the rain,

01:01:35 --> 01:01:39

right? That comes on to the earth that creates mashallah, then you

01:01:39 --> 01:01:42

have again, the sun in the heavens. If it wasn't for the sun,

01:01:42 --> 01:01:44

nothing would live here. Then we have the moon at night is in the

01:01:44 --> 01:01:47

heavens. So Allah is pointing to all of these facts that you got so

01:01:47 --> 01:01:50

many benefits in the heavens, Allah subhanaw taala is the one

01:01:50 --> 01:01:54

who's keeping this up. And he's letting it basically run in its

01:01:54 --> 01:01:58

rhythm and IT system for your benefit. Allah subhana wa corluka

01:01:58 --> 01:02:01

dyadic cada rockbrook in the who who will Hakeem and Eileen. And

01:02:01 --> 01:02:05

Allah, Allah is the old wise and the knowledgeable one. That's how

01:02:05 --> 01:02:09

the surah ends. What we're going to do is just have a quick

01:02:09 --> 01:02:13

summary. I can't believe that we actually covered this in his time,

01:02:13 --> 01:02:17

because generally the notes I have are about seven pages today had 10

01:02:17 --> 01:02:22

pages of notes. And Allah subhanho wa Taala with your dog has allowed

01:02:22 --> 01:02:26

us to complete it in just over an hour hamdulillah now, just to

01:02:26 --> 01:02:29

start off sorbitol cough, I remember those were the sun sand

01:02:29 --> 01:02:33

dunes where who that Islam, told his people so Allah in the

01:02:33 --> 01:02:37

beginning of that discusses some of His majestic sights and his

01:02:37 --> 01:02:40

signs of power in the heavens. Then there's the discussion of the

01:02:40 --> 01:02:43

revelation that came about, then there's the there's the

01:02:43 --> 01:02:47

encouragement about respect to parents and so on. And don't be of

01:02:47 --> 01:02:50

those who say off to your parents as well. Thereafter, Allah

01:02:50 --> 01:02:54

subhanho wa Taala mentions the the story of who that is that I'm and

01:02:54 --> 01:02:57

how these people were finally destroyed, right by something they

01:02:57 --> 01:03:00

thought was coming to their benefit thereafter that there's a

01:03:00 --> 01:03:03

verse which I didn't cover, but Allah subhanaw taala discusses the

01:03:03 --> 01:03:07

jinn, he gives an example of the jinn to the people to say that

01:03:08 --> 01:03:13

we're even when the jinn listened. It's verse of sort of cough. It's

01:03:13 --> 01:03:17

actually verse 29, where he sort of now Akena phenomenology Nia

01:03:17 --> 01:03:21

stem your own Al Quran for the mother when they came to listen to

01:03:21 --> 01:03:23

the Quran, Allah turned them in the direction of the moment they

01:03:23 --> 01:03:28

heard it, they said, Stop, be silent listen. And when the surah

01:03:28 --> 01:03:32

when the Quran was completed, mashallah they brought faith and

01:03:32 --> 01:03:36

they started to warn their people that we've just heard this book

01:03:36 --> 01:03:39

being revealed after Musa alayhis salaam and it confirms everything

01:03:39 --> 01:03:43

beforehand, guides towards the truth and towards the right path.

01:03:43 --> 01:03:49

Right, listen to the caller and respond to the caller to Allah. So

01:03:49 --> 01:03:52

the jinn are mentioned in there, right, which we had no time to

01:03:52 --> 01:03:52

cover.

01:03:54 --> 01:03:57

Thereafter that we start sort of Mohammed and another name is

01:03:57 --> 01:04:00

Rotolo. Kita. Lots of laws about that Allah subhanaw. Taala

01:04:00 --> 01:04:04

describes paradise in there, and describes a certain laws of

01:04:04 --> 01:04:08

dealing with prisoners and so on, then it also reminds them on

01:04:08 --> 01:04:11

Afifi, that you're not going to get anywhere with what you're

01:04:11 --> 01:04:15

doing and shows how the ending is going to be bad. And Allah

01:04:15 --> 01:04:18

subhanaw taala tells us not to be Bucky and not to be miserly. Then

01:04:18 --> 01:04:21

we start sortal fat, which I said was one of the most beloved

01:04:21 --> 01:04:24

stories of the Prophet sallallahu ala when it was revealed, that

01:04:24 --> 01:04:30

talks about the Treaty of who they be, and the pledge of Ridwan and

01:04:30 --> 01:04:34

then in the soon to come inevitable victory, and it

01:04:34 --> 01:04:37

reinforces that and it gives a lot of glad tidings to the believers,

01:04:37 --> 01:04:40

especially the Sahaba at that time, and calms them down and

01:04:40 --> 01:04:43

gives them a lot of consolation. And then after that, Allah

01:04:43 --> 01:04:48

subhanaw taala says Mohammad Rasool Allah, right and talks

01:04:48 --> 01:04:52

about the Sahaba with him and how they were they played each one of

01:04:52 --> 01:04:56

their roles very well. They didn't allow one role somewhere to effect

01:04:57 --> 01:04:59

negatively another role elsewhere, that was mentioned

01:05:00 --> 01:05:04

And then we start Saltillo, gerat. And Susan hoogenraad is obviously

01:05:04 --> 01:05:06

a comprehensive Surah probably the most comprehensive surah in a

01:05:06 --> 01:05:10

short amount of space about a HELOC and adab character building,

01:05:11 --> 01:05:15

ethics, etiquette and so on. So look through that and you know,

01:05:15 --> 01:05:19

all the Riba and everything that's mentioned in there. And then Allah

01:05:19 --> 01:05:22

subhana wa Tada discuss obviously, in there several things like for

01:05:22 --> 01:05:26

example, also verify verification of information, don't just pass

01:05:26 --> 01:05:31

things on. And Brotherhood is very important, unity is very important

01:05:31 --> 01:05:35

in the and love for one another. And all these points of general

01:05:35 --> 01:05:37

difference are all addressed in there, that they should not be

01:05:37 --> 01:05:42

points of difference thereafter, that Allah subhanaw taala in Surah

01:05:42 --> 01:05:46

Kahf he talks about the disbelievers and he brings various

01:05:46 --> 01:05:49

different evidences from prophets and their people and from the

01:05:49 --> 01:05:54

heavens and so on, and from the phenomena around us. And then

01:05:54 --> 01:05:57

Allah subhanaw taala depicts the case on the Day of Judgment, the

01:05:57 --> 01:06:00

scene on the day of judgment, and Allah tells the human certain

01:06:00 --> 01:06:03

things about them like that we know everything about you,

01:06:03 --> 01:06:06

including what you whisper, we are closer to you than your jugular

01:06:06 --> 01:06:08

vein, and so on. And then

01:06:09 --> 01:06:10

Allah subhanaw taala

01:06:12 --> 01:06:16

says that your risk is in the heavens and earth so you will get

01:06:16 --> 01:06:21

your risk when Allah subhanaw taala takes also we didn't we

01:06:21 --> 01:06:25

didn't discuss that in detail, all of these things I mentioned. And

01:06:26 --> 01:06:30

by that we then end with sort of the very out and the discussion

01:06:30 --> 01:06:34

with Ibrahim Al Islam at the end and believers characteristics I

01:06:34 --> 01:06:38

mentioned Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah May Allah be blessed

01:06:38 --> 01:06:43

me his words be blessed, Allah and elevated and may they strike our

01:06:43 --> 01:06:46

hearts in the right way and be embedded in our hearts and may

01:06:46 --> 01:06:49

Allah make us the best of people of those who listen to the Quran,

01:06:49 --> 01:06:53

learn the Quran, teach the Quran and by that we end 26 years and
