00:08:02 --> 00:08:15
			Okay, so Allow me to introduce today's speaker tonight. Most of you will know, Dr. Avila hacking
freak. But just a quick biography of him. He was born in the US and immigrated to Canada.

00:08:17 --> 00:08:19
			And he was

00:08:21 --> 00:08:33
			and he reached rock bottom when he was 20 years old. And he turned to God during that time and he
goes, Oh, God helped me. And if you give me direction, then I shall spend the rest of my life
sending

00:08:35 --> 00:08:43
			you home. He accepted Islam just a few days later after this low point. And this was back in 1970.
At

00:08:44 --> 00:08:58
			that time on, is graduated from the University of Medina, from the College of Islamic sciences. He
has completed a master's degree and PhD in African history from the University of Toronto.

00:09:00 --> 00:09:03
			And he's also traveled to 58 countries

00:09:04 --> 00:09:07
			on election research and educational tours.

00:09:09 --> 00:09:24
			Just recently, he was served as a special advisor to the Ministry of Islamic affairs for the kingdom
of Bahrain. And now he's back in Cape Town where he currently resides. And he's the director of the
discovered Islam center.

00:09:26 --> 00:09:32
			So he's talked about the final talk of the talk is entitled purification of our soul. So

00:09:33 --> 00:09:47
			just before I pass you on to the speaker, this was the talk he did on on Thursday. It's already out
on DVD you can purchase it outside. So without further ado, I call up Shaykh Abdullah to address the
audience.

00:09:56 --> 00:09:59
			smilla rahmanir rahim Alhamdulillah

00:10:00 --> 00:10:05
			below the mean, who actually won La ilaha illallah wa salatu

00:10:06 --> 00:10:09

			Hartman and via it was more saline Allahumma salli wa sallam, other Africa with a silica Mohammed
Ali he was happy woman da da what he was standing up asuna t Illa yo Medina was seldom Sleeman,
kathira, about

00:10:31 --> 00:10:33
			all praises due to Allah, Lord of the worlds.

00:10:35 --> 00:11:15
			And surely Allah is the friend and protector of the righteous. And I'd be a witness that Allah is
one and has no partners. And that Mohammed the son of Abdullah, is a servant and his last messenger.
And may Allah always and constantly send peace and blessings to Mohammed, to his family, to his
companions to all those who call to his way and establish his son, to the Day of Judgment. As to
what follows my beloved brothers and sisters, to our friends, our guests. I begin with the greeting
words of paradise. Assalamu aleikum wa rahmatullah warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

00:11:17 --> 00:11:52
			And these are the words of peace. We pray that this evening would be a source of peace, a source of
unity, and a soft source of enrichment for our community here in Sydney. And I pray that Allah azza
wa jal would make you successful in this life and the hereafter, to protect you from the trials and
tribulations that Muslims are going through in the present world crisis. And we also pray that Allah
would spare the earth,

00:11:53 --> 00:12:00
			spear human beings, even though we have done great crimes, against our own environment,

00:12:01 --> 00:12:07
			we have strayed away from the path. May Allah forgive us, and give us another chance.

00:12:08 --> 00:12:14
			Muslims today are at a very critical point in the history of this movement,

00:12:15 --> 00:12:19
			in one direction, there is imminent destruction,

00:12:20 --> 00:12:27
			a well orchestrated plan to erase Islam from the face of the planet Earth.

00:12:28 --> 00:12:30
			in the other direction, there is hope.

00:12:31 --> 00:12:44
			There is mercy. And that direction leads to paradise. And so Muslims today need to be extremely open
with each other and sincere.

00:12:45 --> 00:12:48
			so humble ourselves to the Creator.

00:12:49 --> 00:12:52
			And to be honest, and humble with each other as well.

00:12:53 --> 00:13:00
			And a lot as the word gel has told us that it was a bit late even a shaytani regime. Yeah, you had
Latina hamana takala

00:13:02 --> 00:13:18
			wakulla Colin studied your local American way of a local zoo back on May UT a la hora Sula, faqad
phazzer fosun alima Oh, you who believe, have the consciousness of Allah and speak a straightforward
word.

00:13:19 --> 00:13:30
			He would repair your deeds, and forgive you of your sins, and whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger
has surely gained a mighty triumph.

00:13:32 --> 00:13:36
			And so I speak to you with this in mind.

00:13:37 --> 00:13:45
			And with the humility of being one of the followers of the last and greatest of the prophets,

00:13:46 --> 00:13:50
			Mohammed bin Abdullah, Allah He offers lots of what's his name.

00:13:52 --> 00:14:16
			The Prophet Mohammed Al Salam was the last of a long line of messages and the core and tells us that
prophets and messengers were sent to every nation and every tribe, that they should worship Allah
and stay away from false deities. prophets were sent to China, profits were sent to Australia, Asia,

00:14:17 --> 00:14:35
			profits were sent to India to Africa, to Europe, to the Americas. to the Middle East, every nation
and every tribe, according to certain novel will have cut back enough equally only mutton Rasulullah
na abajo la watch Telly but toggled

00:14:36 --> 00:14:39
			every nation received a messenger

00:14:41 --> 00:14:48
			and a type of law that was fitting for its environment and it's times

00:14:49 --> 00:14:59
			different difference between these prophets and the last prophet peace be upon him was that the
Prophet Mohammed so solemn was not sent only to the Arabs.

00:15:00 --> 00:15:06
			But he was sent to the whole of humanity and to the jinn creations of smokeless fire.

00:15:07 --> 00:15:10
			And it is reported in his last arafat sermon

00:15:12 --> 00:15:15
			that he stood in front of over 100,000 people.

00:15:17 --> 00:15:19
			And after praising Allah azza wa jal,

00:15:20 --> 00:15:34
			he informed them and he confirmed to them, that their blood and their property was sacred. Let us
reflect upon these last words, or less major words that he made in our fire in the sermon.

00:15:35 --> 00:15:42
			That their life, their property, their blood was sacred, and that it was forbidden

00:15:43 --> 00:15:45
			to take usury and interest

00:15:46 --> 00:15:52
			that men have rights over women, but women also have rights over men.

00:15:54 --> 00:16:18
			That there is no superiority of the Arabs over the non Arabs, or the non Arabs over the Arabs.
There's no superiority of white over black or black over white, elaborate taqwa. It is only with
piety and right action with the consciousness of Allah, that one becomes superior, in the eyes of
the Creator of the heavens in the earth.

00:16:20 --> 00:16:31
			He also informed them that every Muslim is a brother, or sister to the others, and we should not do
injustice to ourselves.

00:16:32 --> 00:16:54
			He reminded them that there are no other prophets to come, no other nations of monotheism to come to
the Day of Resurrection to court and this is the final testament. And he left with them two things,
if they followed it, they will never go straight. And that is the book of Allah and His Sunnah, his
traditions and ways.

00:16:56 --> 00:17:29
			But one interesting point that was made amongst the highlights of this last sermon that I want to
bring to your attention tonight, that is that the Prophet peace be upon him said, be aware of the
shape time, be aware of the devil, for the safety of your religion, he has lost all hope that he
will ever be able to take you astray in big things. So be aware of following him in small things.

00:17:31 --> 00:17:49
			He has given up hope in the big things, the Pillars of Islam are established, the prayer is
established, fasting establish Zakat is established, had Shahada, our pillars are established, but
be aware of him in small things.

00:17:50 --> 00:17:51
			Be aware of him.

00:17:53 --> 00:17:54
			These words

00:17:56 --> 00:17:57
			are the last major

00:17:59 --> 00:18:07
			The last major sermon given to humanity and he told his followers, those who are present should take
it to those who are absent.

00:18:08 --> 00:18:13
			And so I want to, in a sense, tonight, sound an alarm to you,

00:18:14 --> 00:18:22
			like one who is telling you that there is a huge fleet of planes coming to bomb your city,

00:18:23 --> 00:18:35
			the air sirens the air raid system is not working. And so the person is coming to you and giving you
an alarm of extreme emergency.

00:18:37 --> 00:18:53
			And that is that there is a serious attack, which is happening to the home of Mohammed Salah Salah
at this very moment all over the world. It is not just an open attack. It is not just a hot war. It
is internally.

00:18:55 --> 00:18:59
			And right now Muslims make up over 26% of the earth's population.

00:19:00 --> 00:19:28
			We live in strategic places all over the world, over 50% of the natural wealth of this world live
under our countries. We have great intellectuals. We have some of the richest people on earth. Now
we have the largest building under us. We have the biggest shopping malls, the largest airports. But
at the same time the contradiction that with this great wealth there is poverty.

00:19:29 --> 00:19:40
			With these great armies that we have and and great so called nations, there is humiliation on the
ground. With all the wealth that we have there are poor people who are suffering.

00:19:42 --> 00:19:53
			Scholars instead of making achievements argue over trivia. They argue over minor points of photo
when there are seul is the thing.

00:19:54 --> 00:20:00
			And so something is happening on the inside and a lot as the Magellan has told us very clearly

00:20:00 --> 00:20:11
			In the law, how are you very room Bobby Coleman, how are you very new Bobby unforseeable. Allah will
not change the condition of a people until they change that which is in themselves.

00:20:12 --> 00:20:13
			No change.

00:20:15 --> 00:20:17
			And so the internal Muslim

00:20:19 --> 00:20:21
			what is inside of us.

00:20:22 --> 00:20:47
			And in the year 2000, many of the leading magazines in the world talked about the odd words of
missionaries who had gone into the African continent. And they were talking about a battle for the
hearts. They saw a major battle happening, an ideological spiritual battle. And they said it was for
the hearts of people.

00:20:48 --> 00:20:49
			It was not an external war.

00:20:51 --> 00:21:02
			And they shamelessly came out and said this, and even identified Islam as the major obstacle in the
path. And so the issue was the heart.

00:21:04 --> 00:21:37
			And that is really where the attack is going on. And it is so important for us right now, to analyze
ourselves. We have massages, we have communities, we have halau food, we wear Islamic clothing,
there was a relative state of peace, but the Prophet peace be upon him said Allah what in the field
Jessa de moda, either Salah hot Salah, how Jessa Dooku what is our fethard that faster than just a
Dooku? Allah he'll call

00:21:38 --> 00:21:47
			the prophet SAW some of them said, verily in the body, there is a lump of flesh, if it is right and
found, the whole body is right.

00:21:48 --> 00:21:59
			If it is corrupted, the whole body is corrupted, and that is the heart. The heart is that lump of
flesh connected to the consciousness of a being.

00:22:01 --> 00:22:20
			It is that part that that helps us to decide what we are doing. It is it is that conscience
connected to our souls. And many of the great orlimar have shown us that the heart is that part that
knows Allah. It is the part of us. It works for Allah subhanaw taala.

00:22:22 --> 00:22:29
			It goes toward a lot it reveals that which Allah has and the limbs follow the hat.

00:22:30 --> 00:22:35
			It can take you on the right path, or it can take you astray.

00:22:37 --> 00:22:42
			The scholars have also shown us men out of Aqaba, who are far above

00:22:43 --> 00:22:46
			one who knows his heart knows his Lord.

00:22:48 --> 00:23:10
			Because it is that conscience it is that breath of life that energy of what is which is inside of us
connected to our body through the heart. It is that conscience which helps us to make the right
decision, but the heart can be changed. It can move in a positive direction or it can also be led
astray.

00:23:13 --> 00:23:28
			And it is interesting in doing a study of many of the great amount of Islam. I found in a number of
texts a great scholar shakers man Dan fodio Rahim a whole lot of northern Nigeria. Even Kodama Alma
de Avila, the Sham

00:23:29 --> 00:23:46
			in his workman, hazal, kasi Dean, and many great scholars looked at the heart and I was so surprised
to see some of their findings and this is hundreds of years ago. But it is as though they lived with
us today. It is like they were right here in Sydney

00:23:48 --> 00:23:49
			or with us in Cape Town

00:23:50 --> 00:24:12
			or with the Muslim community in London, or in the Middle East. It is amazing how Allah subhanaw
taala blesses scholars going through his book and the Sunnah of the prophet SAW Selim to come out
with information which is so relevant, and can even be used by people who come many years
afterwards.

00:24:13 --> 00:24:19
			And so in this study, which is so crucial to us now, and I come to you as a winner,

00:24:21 --> 00:24:25
			that we need to check our hearts and I begin with myself.

00:24:26 --> 00:24:35
			We need at this critical point in time to look within ourselves. And the scholars have shown us that
the heart is like a fortress

00:24:36 --> 00:24:59
			and the fortress is protected by Gods. These gods are protecting certain entrances into the
fortress. You cannot be a god. You cannot be properly protected unless you know the entrance. If you
don't know the entrances, then you won't be able to protect your heart from the shaytan and his
forces who

00:25:00 --> 00:25:05
			Trying to enter into the fortress. And this is literally what is happening now.

00:25:07 --> 00:25:10
			As it was said in 2000, it's a battle for the hearts.

00:25:11 --> 00:25:16
			As the promises of them said, either faster death faster, they'll just a Dooku.

00:25:17 --> 00:25:29
			If the heart goes wrong, if it is corrupted, the whole body is corrupted. Whether you wear a long
soul, but have a beard, or we're in a Baia or speak Arabic,

00:25:30 --> 00:25:34
			if your heart is corrupted, everything will be corrupted.

00:25:35 --> 00:26:17
			And so it is critical for us at this point in time to know medallion a belief to know the way that
the shaitaan can enter into the fortress, and to protect ourselves. And it is as though the scholars
although they lived hundreds of years ago, it is as though they are talking to us today. And that is
the beauty of the home of Mohammed salsa, that we are blessed with such deed that the Prophet peace
be upon him said Allah receive Kali karvonen mujaddid, at the head of every century, or generation,
that would be a revival of the faith, that this faith would not be left we would not turn into
ancient Romans,

00:26:18 --> 00:26:27
			or Ancient Greeks, or Ancient Egyptians or Chinese when you look and you see the monuments, but you
don't see the people themselves.

00:26:28 --> 00:26:34
			You don't see the Ancient Ones, it was so powerful. Only a crumbling structure, we would have been
the same.

00:26:35 --> 00:26:39
			Our great masters and fourth, and addresses.

00:26:40 --> 00:27:18
			All that is left with many of them are just crumbling stones. But by the mercy of Allah azza wa jal,
the hearts changed in individuals, people entered into Islam, those who are already Muslims,
analyzed themselves and reconstructed themselves and became practicing Muslims again. And so the oma
was revived. And now we are in need of this revival. We see extremes in the Muslim world extremes,
people doing things totally out of balance, like a person, a giant who is waking up from asleep.

00:27:20 --> 00:27:55
			And the first moments when you wake up from the sleep, you're groggy, you don't know which way to go
to the right or to the left, you just finding yourself. It's like Muslims are just finding
themselves today. Not sure what to do not sure who to follow. Not sure what aspect of Islam they
practice. But really, as a law said, as we cry for political change, we cry for Khalifa, we cry for
Islamic economy, for Islamic social life, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they
change that which is in themselves.

00:27:57 --> 00:28:01
			And so the great change will come in sha Allah if we make the move.

00:28:02 --> 00:28:24
			Because we never would have gotten into this position. If we did not change something inside of
ourselves, if tribalism and nationalism, and race consciousness and class divisions and exploitation
of the weak and abuse of women and children. If this had not entered into our nation, we would still
have authority in this land.

00:28:25 --> 00:28:39
			And so Medallia lovelies, what are the ways that the shaitaan can come into the fortress of the hat?
Number one through half that jealousy. Now these scholars are right on the ground.

00:28:40 --> 00:28:50
			Because Hassan is something that influences everybody, envy and jealousy. And that is when you you
see your friends making some progress in life.

00:28:52 --> 00:29:01
			He has a new house or they have a new baby. How do you feel about that? When you see the sister with
a new baby? You say Mashallah.

00:29:02 --> 00:29:10
			You see a new house they have built? It's a double storey house. He pulls up in his new Lamborghini.

00:29:11 --> 00:29:23
			How do you feel about Allah when you see him in his Lamborghini? Do you say Alhamdulillah? Do you
feel good? When you see it? How sad is that little shaytaan inside of yourself? It hates Ali in the
Lamborghini.

00:29:25 --> 00:29:27
			It hates to see the new babies.

00:29:28 --> 00:29:34
			So instead of saying martial arts about a cola when you see the beggar they said that look at that
little ugly thing.

00:29:37 --> 00:29:40
			Oh, look at elegant his car he stole that car anyway, he doesn't even own the car.

00:29:42 --> 00:29:59
			Or they will say something against it because has said you cannot stand to see that person making
progress. But the prophet SAW Selim said that the hassid is more in danger than the Masood The one
who has jealousy actually harms himself more than other one.

00:30:00 --> 00:30:15
			And the Prophet peace be upon him said er Kemal Hassan, Al Hassan, Al Hassan at karma takoda natto
hottap beware of jealousy, it will eat up your good deeds, like a fire eats up firewood. You fast in
Ramadan,

00:30:17 --> 00:30:19
			you go to Hajj, you pays the cat.

00:30:21 --> 00:30:39
			And it's burnt up by jealousy. And you see our community, look at some of the progress people are
making and the reaction others have to them. And we understand this is one of the ways evil forces
come into us and will destroy everything in the past. Number two,

00:30:41 --> 00:30:41
			anger

00:30:43 --> 00:30:45
			an overabundance of anger.

00:30:46 --> 00:31:17
			And this is not just emotion that when you have emotion, you see Islam is disgraced. Or you see your
wife being abused. And you feel some emotion. This is I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about
this anger, this, this, this, this feeling where you lose control of yourself. Somebody disagrees
with you. And you lose control over that person. And sometimes they foam at the mouse, they hand
start to shake. And they will make strange moves. They will do strange things to other people.

00:31:19 --> 00:31:25
			There are some individuals you differ with them, and they will say I'm finished with him. I don't
want nothing but janazah

00:31:26 --> 00:31:30
			nothing's left but he's janazah some people they won't even go to the funeral.

00:31:32 --> 00:31:32
			So

00:31:33 --> 00:31:47
			anger, too much uncontrolled emotion. Our emotion should be for Allah. Our anger, our feelings
should be for Allah and our love should be for Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:31:48 --> 00:31:49
			Number three.

00:31:50 --> 00:32:04
			One of the way the evil one is coming in now to our hearts is the shower. It is desires. And we see
it happening now through the new electronic media's that are coming to us. It is *.

00:32:06 --> 00:32:34
			And * is a dangerous thing, which is affecting Muslims all over the world, especially the
younger generation. It comes on the television, it comes in the movies, it comes on the cell phone.
It comes in all aspects of life. The Greeks called erotica, from the word arrows and arrows was the
Roman fake Cupid. You know the one that shoots his little arrow when you fall hopelessly in love
around Valentine's Day.

00:32:35 --> 00:32:44
			Right, this is the Cupid. What erotica is, is that they their whole emphasis is on the bodies.

00:32:45 --> 00:33:21
			When you look, you go to Ancient Egypt and you look at the Egyptians, if they drew any pictures of
human beings, the bodies all had the same long arms and whatnot. It was not really an exact picture
of a person. But when Greek culture came in, they started to define the body and to judge people by
the body itself, and to put this carnal, physical elements into everything that they were doing. And
so now it comes into our programs. The young people are watching a movie and the people are out in
space fighting aliens, and somebody falls in love.

00:33:22 --> 00:33:39
			A rugby game is going on and they're killing each other in a stadium and somebody falls in love.
They're having a math contest or a debate in a university and somebody falls in love. Always
somebody is falling in love wise, erotica.

00:33:40 --> 00:33:47
			And that is the keep you busy on the flesh level on a carnal level like animals

00:33:48 --> 00:34:16
			to take you out of the level of Malacca, that is one of the beauties of the month of Ramadan.
Because our Shahada, you know, if we are really fasting, we learn to control our desires. And in a
sense, we're like angels, because the angels they are they obey Allah aluna, Maja Maroon, they do
what they are commanded, they do not have the desires like human beings. And so we're we're like
angels in a sense in the month of Ramadan.

00:34:17 --> 00:34:27
			We don't need the food in the drink. We don't need the carnal pleasures we have been fasting
properly in that month. And so it is through the desires

00:34:28 --> 00:34:47
			through the lowering of shame. These days decency and modesty. When this is taken out of an
individual, the net person's limits have been broken, and they're capable of anything. And the
prophet SAW some of them said either lambda study first not my shifter.

00:34:49 --> 00:34:58
			If you don't have high, if you don't have decency and modesty, then you do what you want. you're
capable of anything because the limits are gone. Now.

00:35:00 --> 00:35:32
			And so this is why you see the original followers of Moses Musa alayhis salam in modest dress and
actions. You see the original followers of Jesus, he saw a slum in modest dress and actions. You see
the last home of Mohammed Salah in modest dress that action, it is the way of the prophets so that
we can relate to each other on a higher stage than the animal stage. But the but the evil one, while
the other Billa uses it as a muscle to get inside the heart,

00:35:34 --> 00:35:35
			and the *

00:35:36 --> 00:35:43
			and the fashions that we follow so blindly forcing people to expose their bodies.

00:35:45 --> 00:35:52
			This is taking people to another stage, and it corrupts the whole individual. Number four,

00:35:53 --> 00:36:11
			the love. And this is interesting that the scholars said this hundreds of years ago, they said the
love of fancy clothes, and a fancy big house, a nice ride might have been a horse for them, then now
it's Hollywood is Lamborghini. It's a different time now.

00:36:13 --> 00:36:48
			But when you love these things, when you work for these things, the evil one can get into you. This
is deception that is going on. And there are many people who think that they are saved. They think
that they are righteous Muslims, that their movement is the same * they are about and they are
being controlled by their desires. And the evil one is getting them from around the back. They don't
even realize their whole body is being corrupted, because of the love of fancy things.

00:36:49 --> 00:37:35
			Yes, we should have good things we should provide for ourselves, protect our bodies, protect our
family, there's nothing wrong with that. But when it starts to go overboard, this is when the evil
one can come. Number five, being too filled with food and drink satisfied. When you're too
satisfied, and become lazy, then the evil one will appear to be lack can come to you in that state
of mind. And this is why you see the prophets are seldom in eating food will only fill his stomach
with one third of food, one third of water and leave the other third empty. And that whenever gold
and silver came into Medina, he would not sleep until he gave it all away.

00:37:37 --> 00:37:38
			And so

00:37:40 --> 00:37:47
			the satisfaction a person feels in the Union can also be a way that the evil one can come inside.

00:37:48 --> 00:38:27
			Number six. This is a desire for people over gratification of people making people idols, you
worship them, and you follow their ways. And they even call some of the rock stars now. And movie
stars they call them idols. Literally call them a snob. And people will fall down and scream and
they will shake because the star is coming in. And he himself if you get to know some of these movie
stars, or some of these musicians, most of them are just scared little men.

00:38:28 --> 00:38:36
			But when they pump themselves with drugs and dance around on the stage, you think he's greater than
life. But if you meet him, he's a scared little man.

00:38:37 --> 00:38:48
			If you meet that the fashion model, you can see she's an anorexic girl who can't even hold down food
and is probably on drugs to stay as finished he is in order to be a model.

00:38:51 --> 00:39:11
			And so when we desire what people have, and have an over gratification for them, that the evil one
was so beloved and this is really around the corner can come to us and influence us in ways that we
know nuts. Number seven, haste doing things too quickly.

00:39:12 --> 00:39:18
			And the province of Southern said Allah Jalla min ash shaytaan. haze is from the devil.

00:39:19 --> 00:39:33
			We too hasty. We want to get married real fast. We see somebody and they say oh no, he looks good.
And he has a nice curl in his hair and he's so handsome. And he speaks so nicely and we want to get
married. Does he have a job?

00:39:35 --> 00:39:37
			Do you know where he comes from?

00:39:38 --> 00:39:40
			No, he speaks he said the heartbeat so nice.

00:39:42 --> 00:39:46
			Find out about his family's Kapha suitability.

00:39:48 --> 00:39:51
			Find out about whether he has a job you can provide.

00:39:52 --> 00:39:55
			test him to see whether he is really the one

00:39:56 --> 00:40:00
			and in many cases men also they get angry with the over a button.

00:40:00 --> 00:40:07
			Some anger and then they say talaq, talaq talaq talaq. They divorced their wife over and over again.
And then they said

00:40:09 --> 00:40:14
			they were too fast. And they look for a Mufti to get them effectual.

00:40:15 --> 00:40:27
			So they can get back in the marriage. And it is a sad affair when it happens. But the essence of it
is the haste that the devil will use what you have to build up to destroy everything in your path.

00:40:28 --> 00:40:46
			Number eight, when the loving of wealth wealth itself in an overabundance, or a small amount of
wealth or poverty, these can also lead people astray, and cause people to do things that they don't
normally do.

00:40:47 --> 00:41:18
			And so wealth is a major test on this oma, and the protocol seldom said in the liquidly, oma fitna
were fit not to Almighty Allah. Every nation has a test. And the test and trial of my nation is
wealth. And today, it's either too much as you see in some Muslim countries, or it's not enough
where poverty reigns in the lives of the believers. Number nine, and this is an interesting point.

00:41:20 --> 00:41:33
			is like he's with us today. Being fanatical in your school of thought. This is an interesting point.
A person is fanatical. He's under Sunder. wajima

00:41:34 --> 00:41:39
			and he's fanatical in his school of Teresa hanafy. And he doesn't like Sharpies.

00:41:40 --> 00:41:43
			He's another key and he doesn't want to be around unbelief.

00:41:44 --> 00:41:50
			He's fanatical like you can even take it a step further and say fanatical, even in organization.

00:41:51 --> 00:41:56
			My organization is better than yours. My chef is better than your chef.

00:41:57 --> 00:42:02
			I am 100 free one brother came to me and said Is it permissible for a Shafi to marry 100.

00:42:04 --> 00:42:09
			Sister what religion or unit are we? Are you Jehovah's Witnesses or what are you?

00:42:11 --> 00:42:14
			You broke away from the mainstream. What is your problem?

00:42:15 --> 00:42:24
			The the great scholars were students and teachers of each other and it is reported that we mama
Shafi Rahim of olark came into Iraq.

00:42:25 --> 00:42:29
			And he went to the master of the Mount Abu hanifa Rahim Allah It was fudger prayer

00:42:30 --> 00:42:41
			and the Sharpies and fauja it was the fetcher of the Imam to make dua Kanoute all the time every
day. So they will make your absolute when they're coming up from the second record.

00:42:42 --> 00:42:48
			They said he mom leads a lot. He led salah and he did not make too accurate.

00:42:50 --> 00:43:00
			Afterwards they said imagine your school of thought don't you make to afternoon and he said no. I am
in the masjid of Imam Abu hanifa and I respect this position.

00:43:01 --> 00:43:25
			I respect this position. You see the Imams that's how they dealt with each other. It is said that
Mr. Malik Rahim Allah Eman Dara hegira, the great Imam of the land of the hegira Medina who had the
first book of Hadith Amata that the great Imam Rahim Allah one day he was sitting in his mejlis and
a messenger came from the leader of Mecca.

00:43:26 --> 00:43:35
			messenger said we have a young boy with us. We want you to teach this boy now Mr. Malik, he didn't
take orders from anybody.

00:43:36 --> 00:43:44
			And he looked at them and he turned away they said no, please the Amir. If they teach this boy, his
position was not to bow down to the Amiens.

00:43:46 --> 00:43:48
			But he said okay, bring the boy.

00:43:49 --> 00:43:51
			And when he listened to the boy and watch the boy,

00:43:52 --> 00:44:04
			he then said, Let this boy Sit down. He has a future. This boy has a future. You know who he was.
That little boy that was the mama Shafi

00:44:05 --> 00:44:07
			was the mama Shafi Rahim Allah

00:44:08 --> 00:44:44
			who later became one of the great leaders in Islam. Look at the relationship of the mouse. So how
can you say, one is better than the other or you fight the other because you're this? This is a way
that the evil one can come into the ranks, where people are Qibla you have another Muslim that
person is 90% or 95%, the same as you and 5% different than you. So do you focus on the 5% or the
95%? We should focus on the 95%.

00:44:45 --> 00:44:55
			If there's something wrong with another Muslim, it is a way of the scholars give that person advice,
sincere advice. If they don't accept it, make draft for them.

00:44:57 --> 00:44:58
			Pray for them.

00:44:59 --> 00:44:59
			Do not

00:45:00 --> 00:45:07
			analyze them and backed by them, or hold hatred in your heart when that hatred comes inside, this is
the evil one.

00:45:09 --> 00:45:23
			This is how he's coming into our ranks now, where people in Islamic movements feel that they
criticize and hate and feel negativity when they see another Muslim coming down the street. This is
a strange condition.

00:45:26 --> 00:45:27
			This is a strange condition.

00:45:28 --> 00:45:31
			If you were in the middle of an earthquake,

00:45:33 --> 00:45:46
			and the earth is rumbling now, and the building is falling down on you, and somebody comes to your
rescue, he's holding the building down and saving your life. Are you going to turn to him and say,
brother, are you unhappy?

00:45:51 --> 00:45:53
			You don't care what he is.

00:45:54 --> 00:45:56
			Because it's an emergency situation.

00:45:58 --> 00:46:20
			And we are living in an emergency, we are living under an ideological attack, which is bombarding us
bombarding our children, taking them off the path confusing them with their identity, they don't
know who they are or what they are confused. And so we need that unity in that direction, that
forgiveness for each other.

00:46:21 --> 00:46:34
			This is the real example of the prophet SAW seldom, it's not being harsh, it's forgiveness. He even
wanted to pray for the minority. For the head of the minority, he wanted to pray for him.

00:46:37 --> 00:46:39
			The next point, which is an interesting point,

00:46:41 --> 00:46:54
			and that is forcing people to reflect upon the names and descriptions of Allah subhanaw taala,
forcing them to reflect on this constantly. You forced the common people into this situation.

00:46:55 --> 00:47:13
			And this philosophy, philosophical debates that go on with people who do not study properly the soul
of the dean, it will cause people to go off the path, they will come into Islam, and instead of
learning the fundamentals of Islam, they will learn how to debate you on a little issue.

00:47:14 --> 00:47:23
			And so bring it to the issue of philosophical debate. And that can bring hatred in their heart. That
is how the evil one is dividing us up today. Well, you have to be like

00:47:25 --> 00:47:37
			the last point from the list. And there are so many other points, but they focused on these 11
points. The last point is suspecting other Muslims. So as

00:47:38 --> 00:47:48
			the Muslim if you suspect them, you look at them and you prejudge them. They call it in our
language, prejudice.

00:47:49 --> 00:48:27
			Prejudice is pre judgment, as people have with race, that they'll judge a person by their color or
by their race, well, that person is intelligent, that person is not intelligent. Right? We will have
soon as done for other Muslims. When that comes into the heart of an individual, then the whole body
can become corrupted. The prophet SAW Selim said there were three people in koresh, they were the
best of people. When they spoke to you, they would tell you the truth. And when you spoke to them,
they would not accuse you of lying.

00:48:29 --> 00:48:36
			Abu Bakar acidic or smelly, Ebony offend, or Abu Zubaydah, Ivanova, rah, rah the loved one.

00:48:37 --> 00:48:41
			They were Cathedral hyah. They had modesty,

00:48:42 --> 00:48:50
			modesty and decency about them. And if you spoke to them, you're innocent until proven guilty.

00:48:51 --> 00:48:56
			They will give you the benefit of the doubt. They were the best of Quraysh

00:48:57 --> 00:49:00
			they were the best of the believers in their time.

00:49:01 --> 00:49:19
			So that is a quality we need innocence when we're dealing with each other, not feeling negative
about a person and judging a person. And even if you find that person doing something wrong, then
forgive that person. We need to spend more time with forgiveness than we do with passionates.

00:49:20 --> 00:49:37
			This is the time of functional unity. And if we cannot unite 100% Then let us unite around issues
which can which will help society and help the world. Islam can bring answers to problems right here
in this country.

00:49:39 --> 00:49:48
			Problems of alcoholism and drugs, problems of homelessness, of racism, of abuse,

00:49:50 --> 00:49:59
			psychological problems, despair in life about the hereafter. So many people commit suicide and they
living in despair

00:50:00 --> 00:50:15
			Because they're not sure what's going to happen in the next life, we are holding gems of wisdom with
us that we need to share with this society and stand up and be part of the society. And don't be
ashamed of yourself in this society.

00:50:16 --> 00:50:20
			I recently was just in Melbourne and they have this exhibit

00:50:21 --> 00:50:23
			at the immigration museum.

00:50:24 --> 00:50:34
			And there they have Muslim camellias, where they showed that Muslims in the 1800s opened up the
centre of Australia.

00:50:36 --> 00:50:59
			Many of the modern highways that we have follow the tracks of the of the camellias. And it was even
said in the exhibit that some of these camellias did such a great exploits, they should be known as
explorers, not just camellias as great explorers, for the exploits that they did in the opening up
of the center of this country. And they held on to their Dean.

00:51:01 --> 00:51:37
			They built massagin masjids and Alice Springs, and you see in Adelaide and other places, their
traces are still there. We are part of this society, as we were as we are part of America, as we are
part of the whole world because tawheed the oneness of Allah is something which every nation shared.
The original people in this society had a prophet and a messenger. They had somebody who came to
them, according to the text of the Quran. And if you go into their culture, their folk traditions
you will find monotheism,

00:51:38 --> 00:51:40
			you will find many of the things that we enjoy.

00:51:42 --> 00:52:10
			And so we need to change our analysis of things at this critical point. And Allah is so mercy
merciful, if we have done something wrong. Allah tells us in the La Jolla VEDA the new bajillion,
Allah forgives all sins. And so at this critical point in time, when Muslims are feeling pressure, I
leave you with the example of the Prophet Mohammed Salah sanlam, who did not speak from himself.

00:52:12 --> 00:52:31
			He has given a legacy and I want to share this legacy with you tonight. This is a tradition which is
not so well known in our community. We have it in the 40 hadith of Islamic revival, which will be
available to you soon inshallah. And this is a hadith reported by amirul momineen. Ali Ibn Abi
taalib radi Allahu

00:52:32 --> 00:53:11
			Allah said when I took possession of the weapon of the Prophet peace be upon him, I found in the
hilt of the sword, a parchment. Now remember that Lee was the oldest male member of the family, he
took care of the funeral janazah of the prophet SAW Selim, he had the his his, his his things, his
property, his inheritance, and so he got the solid and the Prophet was unleaded, but he must have
dictated to somebody to write because our Li was lettered. A Li was one of the people who was
writing in Mecca. He was writing early.

00:53:12 --> 00:53:21
			He knew how to write. And so Ali reports what he put on the parchment. What do you think somebody
would put on a sword?

00:53:22 --> 00:53:25
			What would they put on their weapon today born to kill?

00:53:27 --> 00:53:28
			They would curse the enemies.

00:53:29 --> 00:53:34
			What is the powerful solemn, put on his sword, the one who they claim was a terrorist.

00:53:35 --> 00:53:45
			He said Silman kosaka, as an element of la la, la la la, la, la La lovesick, three great principles.

00:53:46 --> 00:53:52
			He said filmen pataka. Keep relations with those who cut you off.

00:53:54 --> 00:53:57
			And do good with people, even if they harm you.

00:53:59 --> 00:54:03
			And speak the truth, even if it is against yourself.

00:54:04 --> 00:54:12
			Three great principles we need to embrace in these times of pressure and confusion that we're facing
in the world.

00:54:13 --> 00:54:22
			Keep relationships, make relationships with those who cut you off. If you are a new Muslim, if you
have embraced Islam, love your mother.

00:54:23 --> 00:54:24
			Love your father.

00:54:26 --> 00:54:40
			Keep relation with your family. We don't follow them. If they commanded us to do polytheism or
something wrong, but love them, respect them. Keep relationship with this society. Even if the
society attacks us.

00:54:41 --> 00:54:50
			Keep relationship keep showing them the Islamic position on certain issues. Show them that Islam is
the religion of peace. It is not a religion of terror.

00:54:52 --> 00:54:59
			The second principle, do good to people even if they harm you. You don't fight evil with evil

00:55:00 --> 00:55:30
			The Prophet told them, when he had difficulty in Mecca, he went to tarrif. And then taught if they
stoned him, they stoned him to the blood ran down on the sandals. And the angel of the mountains
came and tie up his way up in the mountains in the south. And the angel said, I will destroy these
people, in the process of upset in words, do not destroy them, because maybe amongst them would be
those would worship Allah alone and not associate partners.

00:55:31 --> 00:55:36
			And he lived to see that people have come into Islam in crowds.

00:55:38 --> 00:55:49
			He lives to see this. So no matter what happens in society, no matter what is going on, we don't
fight evil and corruption with evil and corruption.

00:55:51 --> 00:55:57
			We stand up for our independence, we resist and occupied zones.

00:55:58 --> 00:56:06
			But it is it is the character of Islam, the patients under oppression, which eventually won the
hearts of the polish.

00:56:08 --> 00:56:52
			And the last principle, speak the truth, even if it is against yourself. This is conflict
resolution. And we need to have conflict resolution in our community and in our nations all
throughout the world. So I leave you with these thoughts. And I asked a lot to have mercy on me and
you and to protect the children of the home of Mohammed Salah Salaam Namaste. May Allah have mercy
and protect the honor and the dignity of the women of the home of Mohammed Salim. May Allah protect
the men strengthen the men of the home of Mohammed Salah salam, may Allah raise up those righteous
leaders to take our countries from darkness into light. And to provide an example for all of

00:56:52 --> 00:56:59
			humanity in this time of confusion and upheaval. May Allah forgive us for what we have done for we
know not what we do.

00:57:01 --> 00:57:12
			I leave you with these thoughts. And I asked a lot to have mercy on me and you will Akka dot Juana
Alhamdulillah rockville alameen wa Salaam wa Alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

00:57:26 --> 00:57:27
			would like to introduce are the bright shiny

00:57:47 --> 00:57:52
			as many of you are aware, or DCA has embarked on purchasing or let's build a message.

00:57:55 --> 00:58:00
			on purchasing this plot of land development application was submitted to

00:58:01 --> 00:58:02
			well place the company

00:58:03 --> 00:58:04
			and then

00:58:05 --> 00:58:07
			we rented 1000 beds.

00:58:09 --> 00:58:16
			And at this stage once Council, President rtca embarked on raising the money to purchase the land.

00:58:17 --> 00:58:26
			The property is located at 361 Chism road. Orban is located in the heart of a large and growing
Muslim community.

00:58:27 --> 00:58:34
			And in this region, very few mustards exist to cater for the needs of the local Muslim community.

00:58:35 --> 00:58:48
			The land is located in the industrial side, at the same time, is located in close proximity to
residential areas. In one kilometer easy water ridges parking always facing

00:58:50 --> 00:58:52
			the terrain and aspect of the property.

00:58:54 --> 00:59:04
			The size of the property of the proposed budget faces on the east west direction which is very much
suited for the cubelet gray direction.

00:59:05 --> 00:59:12
			The lane is fairly flat and open to the south of the property. There exists a public reserve

00:59:14 --> 00:59:15
			the size and

00:59:18 --> 00:59:23
			the size of the bottom line is 3882 square meters.

00:59:24 --> 00:59:32
			It has a frontage of 37.5 meters and a maximum of 134 litres.

00:59:33 --> 00:59:46
			The cost of the land is $1.8 million. That's including GST Alhamdulillah as you now know, we have
raised approximately $1.7 million

00:59:49 --> 00:59:53
			through the generous donations of the Muslim community and we require only

00:59:55 --> 00:59:59
			$85,000 to complete the payment of this property.

01:00:01 --> 01:00:02
			The proposed budget.

01:00:03 --> 01:00:18
			The proposed budget consists of two levels. large parking area accommodating for 33 class spaces
with a large area at the rear of the property which may be used to accommodate an overflow of car
parking.

01:00:20 --> 01:00:22
			Since the DA has been approved,

01:00:23 --> 01:00:32
			construction of the lustige can start when construction certificate is obtained, which eg takes a
few weeks to be granted.

01:00:37 --> 01:00:41
			Some 3d images of the propellers must've

01:00:45 --> 01:00:46
			a really neat

01:00:50 --> 01:00:50
			thing.

01:00:51 --> 01:00:52
			The ground floor

01:00:53 --> 01:01:00
			will consist of a large bar prep area of approximately 400 square meters, library officers
classrooms,

01:01:01 --> 01:01:06
			administration rooms, photo area and other ancillary uses.

01:01:08 --> 01:01:09
			But first of all play.

01:01:10 --> 01:01:14
			So first of all theater will consist of a large table prep area,

01:01:15 --> 01:01:20
			approximately five classrooms with no area and other ancillary uses.

01:01:24 --> 01:01:27
			In conclusion, brothers and sisters,

01:01:29 --> 01:01:31
			it is truly an investment out there.

01:01:33 --> 01:01:48
			It is very rare that we come across such a large budget approved by Council in a local area. And
then funding in there. Most of the money has been raised. All we require from the brothers and
sisters tonight is to dig a little bit

01:01:50 --> 01:02:01
			extra in over the remaining $85,000 in order for us to seal the purchase of this land and start with
the construction of the Santa Monica.

01:02:09 --> 01:02:26
			Ready Ready for the summer. You can find more information on the website build domestic calm, and
also outside there prospectuses in Arabic and English. For you to read more details about this
project. Now I'm going to call upon to give some final tips and not

01:02:39 --> 01:02:40
			only get up to speed.

01:02:51 --> 01:02:52
			Now, of course, we're

01:02:54 --> 01:02:56
			actually worried about 80,000. Now, because of

01:02:59 --> 01:03:05
			financial aid because there was no now I want everyone to look at the issues.

01:03:06 --> 01:03:07
			Everybody has issues.

01:03:08 --> 01:03:09
			But it's

01:03:10 --> 01:03:11
			just not the issues.

01:03:14 --> 01:03:17
			How much is the average pair of shoes

01:03:22 --> 01:03:23
			they wanted myself on the ship?

01:03:29 --> 01:03:30
			Because she was something

01:03:31 --> 01:03:33
			we looked at the beautiful

01:03:38 --> 01:03:39
			$400.

01:03:41 --> 01:03:43
			Now, if I said to you,

01:03:44 --> 01:03:48
			if you there's approximately 290 people here, if you

01:03:49 --> 01:03:50
			paid

01:03:53 --> 01:03:57
			$290. And I guarantee you

01:03:59 --> 01:04:02
			that you'll be given a house the gentleman, would you run to him?

01:04:03 --> 01:04:18
			Yes. It'd be crazy if you if we go back three months or four months, when I came to the show, like I
said, Listen, there's a book that we're trying to get one we got an approval for a rescue. They said
Well, that's quite how much

01:04:20 --> 01:04:24
			they had dropped. And I said to the brothers if you don't want to do it

01:04:26 --> 01:04:30
			if you don't want to do it automotive people's why I had full trust

01:04:31 --> 01:04:59
			even though we're limited in time, that will raise money to build a house for a loss of credible
data. Now, many people get sick of the same thing. They don't really know what I'm sick of you
telling me I'm sick of hearing I'm sick either SMS, I'm sending the emails. I'm sick if you ask me,
but you're sick of Allah subhanaw taala giving you a reward. He's giving you a chance to gain reward
for the hereafter are usually giving you this. He's giving you the present

01:05:02 --> 01:05:04
			This is the Muslim Unfortunately,

01:05:05 --> 01:05:06
			we don't keep boys.

01:05:09 --> 01:05:13
			I used to run, they used to convey a story about

01:05:15 --> 01:05:16
			a woman

01:05:17 --> 01:05:25
			thanks to complete Russian. So where is this competition in this day and age, we can we can talking
in backbiting and slander,

01:05:27 --> 01:05:32
			and things that are wrong, we can we can just avoid that we can discuss why

01:05:37 --> 01:05:40
			meters for the House of Commons,

01:05:41 --> 01:05:44
			you'll be rewarded. As long as this house

01:05:45 --> 01:05:46
			is telling

01:05:47 --> 01:05:55
			everyone that this house is worth, it is interested for the Muslims. It's in everyone's name.

01:05:56 --> 01:06:08
			I don't wanna push too much. But you know what to do. We have $80,000. And we have 10 days. There's
envelopes. And also we made certificates. The purchases

01:06:09 --> 01:06:13
			of $150. That's one square meter. As easy as that.

01:06:14 --> 01:06:30
			Get the reward and be greedy. be greedy people you're here after and stop thinking about the dunya
the thinking at the moment, one minute, I have maybe $600 for the week, I've got to go to the pillar
country, I have to do this. I have to do that. This morning, or this afternoon. I have one of the
brothers who are

01:06:33 --> 01:06:34
			the people.

01:06:36 --> 01:06:36
			And then

01:06:43 --> 01:06:46
			it gets a phone call in the morning and I was mentioning this yesterday for

01:06:49 --> 01:06:49
			you.

01:06:52 --> 01:06:58
			contracts. They got a huge job. And he rang me and said by law rewarded for reminding us because
know what happens in a

01:07:01 --> 01:07:06
			trial. And if something says small, I say 370 275.

01:07:07 --> 01:07:08
			Do what you can.

01:07:09 --> 01:07:10
			But please if

01:07:17 --> 01:07:18
			you're unable to do you want reward?

01:07:20 --> 01:07:20
			You want more reward?

01:07:22 --> 01:07:24
			What is that? for Santa Monica?

01:07:31 --> 01:07:33
			Gonna take a break now for five minutes.

01:07:48 --> 01:08:20
			We pray that this evening would be a source of peace, a source of unity, and a soft source of
enrichment for our community here in Sydney. And I pray that Allah azza wa jal would make you
successful in this life and the hereafter, to protect you from the trials and tribulations that
Muslims are going through in the present world crisis. And we also pray that Allah would spare the
earth,

01:08:21 --> 01:08:28
			spare human beings. Even though we have done great crimes against our own environment.

01:08:29 --> 01:08:35
			We have strayed away from the path. May Allah forgive us and give us another chance.

01:08:37 --> 01:08:42
			Muslims today are at a very critical point in the history of this movement,

01:08:43 --> 01:08:47
			in one direction, there is imminent destruction,

01:08:48 --> 01:08:55
			a well orchestrated plan to erase Islam for the face of the planet Earth.

01:08:57 --> 01:08:58
			in the other direction, there is hope.

01:09:00 --> 01:09:12
			There is mercy and that direction leads to paradise. And so Muslims today need to be extremely open
with each other and sincere.

01:09:14 --> 01:09:16
			so humble ourselves to the Creator.

01:09:17 --> 01:09:21
			And to be honest, and humble with each other as well.

01:09:22 --> 01:09:29
			And Allah azzawajal has told us that he was a builder even a shape on the regime. Yeah, are you
hella Dina Hamada Taka la

01:09:30 --> 01:09:46
			wa kulu Colin studied, you slash Malecon where you have a lacuna do novacom woman UT Ilaha Sula,
faqad phazzer fosun alima are you who believe, have the consciousness of Allah and speak a
straightforward word.

01:09:48 --> 01:09:58
			He would repair your deeds and forgive you of your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger
has surely gained a mighty triumph.

01:10:00 --> 01:10:04
			So I speak to you with this in mind.

01:10:05 --> 01:10:13
			And with the humility of being one of the followers of the last and greatest of the prophets,

01:10:14 --> 01:10:18
			Mohammed bin Abdullah, Allah He offers lots of what's asni

01:10:20 --> 01:10:44
			the Prophet Mohammed so Salam was the last of a long line of messages. And the Quran tells us that
prophets and messengers were sent to every nation and every tribe, that they should worship Allah
and stay away from false deities. prophets were sent to China. prophets were sent to Australia,
Asia,

01:10:45 --> 01:11:03
			prophets were sent to India to Africa, to Europe, to the Americas, to the Middle East, every nation
and every tribe according to certain knowledge, while aka bafna frequently omoton Rasul Allah, Allah
Buddha law was celibate, toggled.

01:11:04 --> 01:11:08
			Every nation received a messenger

01:11:10 --> 01:11:16
			and a type of law that was fitting for its environment and its times

01:11:17 --> 01:11:34
			the difference between these prophets and the last prophet peace be upon him was that the Prophet
Muhammad SAW Selim was not sent only to the Arabs, but he was sent to the whole of humanity and to
the jinn, creations of smokeless fire.

01:11:35 --> 01:11:39
			And it is reported in his last arafat sermon

01:11:40 --> 01:11:44
			that he stood in front of over 100,000 people.

01:11:45 --> 01:11:47
			And after praising Allah azza wa jal,

01:11:48 --> 01:12:02
			he informed them and he confirmed to them that their blood and their property was sacred. Let us
reflect upon these last words, or less major words that he made in our fire in the sermon,

01:12:03 --> 01:12:10
			that their life, their property, their blood was sacred, and that it was forbidden

01:12:11 --> 01:12:13
			to take usury and interest

01:12:15 --> 01:12:20
			that men have rights over women, but women also have rights over men.

01:12:22 --> 01:12:47

01:12:48 --> 01:12:59
			He also informed them that every Muslim is a brother, or sister to the others, and we should not do
injustice to ourselves.

01:13:00 --> 01:13:23
			He reminded them that there are no other prophets to come, no other nations of monotheism to come to
the Day of Resurrection to court and this is the final testament. And he left with them two things,
if they followed it, they will never go astray. And that is the book of Allah and His Sunnah, his
traditions and ways.

01:13:24 --> 01:13:57
			But one interesting point that was made amongst the highlights of this last sermon that I want to
bring to your attention tonight, that is that the Prophet peace be upon him said beware of the
shaytaan beware of the devil, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will
ever be able to take you astray in big things. So be aware of following him in small things.

01:13:59 --> 01:14:17
			He has given up hope in the big things, the Pillars of Islam are established. The Prayer is
established, fasting establish Zakat is established, had Shahada, our pillars are established, but
be aware of him in small things.

01:14:18 --> 01:14:19
			Be aware of him.

01:14:21 --> 01:14:23
			These words

01:14:24 --> 01:14:26
			are the last major

01:14:27 --> 01:14:35
			The last major sermon given to humanity and he told his followers, those who are present should take
it to those who are absent.

01:14:36 --> 01:14:41
			And so I want to in a sense tonight, sound an alarm to you.

01:14:42 --> 01:14:50
			Like one who is telling you that there is a huge fleet of planes coming to bomb your city.

01:14:51 --> 01:14:59
			The air sirens the air raid system is not working. And so the person is coming to you and giving you
a

01:15:00 --> 01:15:04
			And alarm of extreme emergency.

01:15:05 --> 01:15:21
			And that is that there is a serious attack, which is happening to the home of Mohammed Salah Salah,
at this very moment all over the world. It is not just an open attack, it is not just a hot war, it
is internally.

01:15:23 --> 01:15:27
			And right now Muslims make up over 26% of the earth's population.

01:15:29 --> 01:15:45
			We live in strategic places all over the world, over 50% of the natural wealth of this world live
under our countries. We have great intellectuals, we have some of the richest people on earth. Now
we have the largest building under us.

01:15:46 --> 01:15:56
			We have the biggest shopping malls, the largest airports. But at the same time the contradiction
that with this great wealth there is poverty.

01:15:57 --> 01:16:08
			With these great armies that we have and and great so called nations, there is humiliation on the
ground with all the wealth that we have through our poor people who are suffering.

01:16:10 --> 01:16:21
			Scholars instead of making achievements argue over trivia. They argue over minor points of photo
when the rule is the same.

01:16:22 --> 01:16:39
			And so something is happening on the inside. And Allah azza wa jal has told us very clearly, in the
law, how you value Bobby Coleman, tell you where you know, Bobby unforeseen, Allah will not change
the condition of a people until they change that which is in themselves.

01:16:40 --> 01:16:42
			No change.

01:16:43 --> 01:16:45
			And so the internal Muslim,

01:16:47 --> 01:16:49
			what is inside of us.

01:16:50 --> 01:17:15
			And in the year 2000, many of the leading magazines in the world talked about the odd words of
missionaries who had gone into the African continent, and they were talking about a battle for the
hearts. They saw a major battle happening, an ideological spiritual battle. And they said it was for
the hearts of people.

01:17:16 --> 01:17:18
			It was not an external war.

01:17:19 --> 01:17:31
			And they shamelessly came out and said this, and even identified Islam as the major obstacle in the
path. And so the issue was the hot

01:17:32 --> 01:18:05
			and that is really where the attack is going on. And it is so important for us right now, to analyze
ourselves. We have massages, we have communities. We have halau food, we were Islamic clothing,
there was a relative state of peace. But the prophet peace be upon him said Allah was in the field.
Jessa de moda is our Salah, hot Salah how Jessa Dooku what is our FAFSA, FAFSA, just a Dooku Allah
he'll call

01:18:06 --> 01:18:15
			the provinces have them said very early in the body there is a lump of flesh, if it is right and
sound, the whole body is right.

01:18:16 --> 01:18:28
			If it is corrupted, the whole body is corrupted. And that is the heart. The heart is that lump of
flesh connected to the consciousness of a being.

01:18:29 --> 01:18:49
			It is that part that that helps us to decide what we are doing. It is it is that conscience
connected to our souls. And many of the great orlimar have shown us that the heart is that pot that
knows Allah. It is the part of us. It works for Allah subhanaw taala.

01:18:50 --> 01:18:57
			It goes towards Allah it reveals that which Allah has and the limbs follow the heart.

01:18:59 --> 01:19:03
			It can take you on the right path, or it can take you a stretch.

01:19:05 --> 01:19:10
			The scholars have also shown us men out of Aqaba who are far above

01:19:11 --> 01:19:15
			one who knows his heart knows his Lord.

01:19:16 --> 01:19:38
			Because it is that conscience it is that breath of life that energy of what is which is inside of us
connected to our body through the heart. It is that conscience which helps us to make the right
decision, but the heart can be changed. It can move in a positive direction or it can also be led
astray.

01:19:41 --> 01:19:56
			And it is interesting in doing a study of many of the great amount of Islam, I found in a number of
texts of a great scholar check was man Dan fodio Rahim Allah of northern Nigeria. Even Kodama Allah
makdessi Avila, the Sham

01:19:58 --> 01:19:59
			in his workman hudgell Casa de

01:20:01 --> 01:20:14
			And many great scholars looked at the heart and I was so surprised to see some of their findings.
And this is hundreds of years ago. But it is as though they lived with us today. It is like they
were right here in Sydney

01:20:16 --> 01:20:17
			or with us in Cape Town,

01:20:18 --> 01:20:40
			or with the Muslim community in London, or in the Middle East. It is amazing how Allah subhanaw
taala blesses scholars going through his book, and the Sunnah of the prophet SAW Selim to come out
with information which is so relevant, and can even be used by people who come many years
afterwards.

01:20:41 --> 01:20:47
			And so in this study, which is so crucial to us now, and I come to you as a warning,

01:20:49 --> 01:20:53
			that we need to check our hearts, and I begin with myself,

01:20:54 --> 01:21:03
			we need at this critical point in time to look within ourselves. And the scholars have shown us that
the heart is like a fortress,

01:21:04 --> 01:21:34
			and the fortress is protected by Gods, these gods are protecting certain entrances into the
fortress, you cannot be a guard, you cannot be properly protected, unless you know the entrance. If
you don't know the entrances, then you won't be able to protect your heart from the shaytan and his
forces who are trying to enter into the fortress. And this is literally what is happening now.

01:21:35 --> 01:21:38
			As it was said in 2000, it's a battle for the hearts.

01:21:40 --> 01:21:44
			As the promises of them said either faster death faster, they'll just have to kulu

01:21:45 --> 01:21:57
			if the heart goes wrong, if it is corrupted, the whole body is corrupted. Whether you wear a long
soul, or have a beard, or we're in a Baia or speak Arabic,

01:21:58 --> 01:22:02
			if your heart is corrupted, everything will be corrupted.

01:22:03 --> 01:22:45
			And so it is critical for us at this point in time to know medacta belief to know the way that the
shaytaan can enter into the fortress, and to protect ourselves. And it is as though these scholars
although they lived hundreds of years ago, it is as though they are talking to us today. And that is
the beauty of the Omar Muhammad SAW Salah that we are blessed with such deed that the Prophet peace
be upon him said Allah receive Kali karvonen mujaddid at the head of every century, or generation
that would be a revival of the faith, that this faith would not be left we would not turn into
ancient Romans,

01:22:46 --> 01:22:55
			or Ancient Greeks, or Ancient Egyptians or Chinese when you look and you see the monuments. But you
don't see the people themselves.

01:22:56 --> 01:23:02
			You don't see the Ancient Ones who were so powerful. Only a crumbling structures, we would have been
the same.

01:23:03 --> 01:23:07
			Our great masters and forts and addresses.

01:23:08 --> 01:23:47

01:23:48 --> 01:24:23
			And the first moments when you wake up from the sleep, you're groggy, you don't know which way to go
to the right or to the left, you just finding yourself as like Muslims are just finding themselves
today. Not sure what to do not sure who to follow. Not sure what aspect of Islam they practice. But
really, as Allah said, as we cry for political change, we cry for Khalifa, we cry for Islamic
economy, but Islamic social life, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change
that which is in themselves.

01:24:25 --> 01:24:30
			And so the great change will come in sha Allah if we make the move.

01:24:31 --> 01:24:52
			Because we never would have gotten into this position. If we did not change something inside of
ourselves, if tribalism and nationalism and race consciousness and class divisions and exploitation
of the weak and abuse of women and children. If this had not entered into our nation, we would still
have authority in this land.

01:24:54 --> 01:24:59
			And so medalla believes, what are the ways that the shaytaan can come into the fortress of the hat?

01:25:00 --> 01:25:07
			Number one through half that jealousy. Now these scholars are right on the ground.

01:25:09 --> 01:25:19
			Because that is something that influences everybody. envy and jealousy. And that is when you you see
your friends making some progress in life.

01:25:20 --> 01:25:30
			He has a new house, or they have a new baby. How do you feel about that? When you see the sister
with a new baby? You say Mashallah.

01:25:31 --> 01:25:38
			You see a new house they have built? It's a double storey house. He pulls up in his new Lamborghini.

01:25:39 --> 01:25:52
			How do you feel about Ali when you see him in his Lamborghini? Do you say Alhamdulillah? Do you feel
good? When you see it? How sad is that little shaytaan inside of yourself? It hates Ali and the
Lamborghinis.

01:25:53 --> 01:25:55
			It hates to see the new babies.

01:25:56 --> 01:26:02
			So instead of saying martial arts about a cola, when you see the baby they said that look at that
little ugly thing.

01:26:05 --> 01:26:08
			Oh, look at Allianz car he stole that car anyway, he doesn't even own the car.

01:26:10 --> 01:26:27
			Or they will say something against it because he said, you cannot stand to see that person making
progress. But the prophet SAW Selim said that the hafted is more in danger than the Masood The one
who has jealousy actually harms himself more than other one.

01:26:28 --> 01:26:43
			And the Prophet peace be upon him said he asked him well Hassan, Hassan, Al Hassan, Natty comma
takoda narrow hotta beware of jealousy, it will eat up your good deeds, like a fire eats up
firewood. You fast in Ramadan.

01:26:45 --> 01:26:47
			You go to Hajj, you paste the cat.

01:26:49 --> 01:27:07
			And it's burnt up by jealousy. And you see our community. Look at some of the progress people are
making and the reaction others have to them. And we understand this is one of the ways evil forces
come into us and will destroy everything in the past. Number two,

01:27:09 --> 01:27:09
			anger

01:27:11 --> 01:27:13
			an overabundance of anger.

01:27:14 --> 01:27:46
			And this is not just emotion that when you have emotion, you see Islam is disgraced. Or you see your
wife being abused. And you feel some emotion. This is I'm not talking about that. I'm talking about
this anger, this, this, this this feeling where you lose control of yourself. Somebody disagrees
with you. And you lose control over that person. And sometimes they foam at the mouse, they hand
start to shake. And they will make strange moves. They will do strange things to other people.

01:27:47 --> 01:27:53
			There are some individuals you differ with them, and they will say I'm finished with him. I don't
want nothing but janazah

01:27:54 --> 01:27:58
			nothing's left for his generosity. Some people they won't even go to the funeral print.

01:28:00 --> 01:28:01
			So

01:28:02 --> 01:28:15
			anger, too much uncontrolled emotion. our emotions should be for Allah. Our anger our feelings
should be for a lot and our love should be for Allah subhanho wa Taala

01:28:16 --> 01:28:17
			number three.

01:28:18 --> 01:28:33
			One of the way the evil one is coming in now to our hearts is the shallot it is desires. And we see
it happening now through the new electronic media's that are coming to us. It is *.

01:28:34 --> 01:29:02
			And * is a dangerous thing, which is affecting Muslims all over the world, especially the
younger generation. It comes on the television, it comes in the movies, it comes on the cell phone.
It comes in all aspects of life. The Greeks called erotica, from the word arrows and arrows was the
Roman thick Cupid. You know the one that shoots his little arrow when you fall hopelessly in love
around Valentine's Day.

01:29:03 --> 01:29:12
			Right, this is the Cupid. What erotica is, is that they their whole emphasis is on the bodies.

01:29:13 --> 01:29:49
			When you look, you go to Ancient Egypt and you look at the Egyptians, if they drew any pictures of
human beings, the bodies all had the same long arms and whatnot. That was not really an exact
picture of a person. But when Greek culture came in, they started to define the body and to judge
people by the body itself, and to put this carnal, physical elements into everything that they were
doing. And so now it comes into our programs. The young people are watching a movie and the people
are out in space fighting aliens, and somebody falls in love.

01:29:51 --> 01:30:00
			A rugby game is going on and they're killing each other in a stadium and somebody falls in love.
They're having a math contest or a debate that you

01:30:00 --> 01:30:07
			Diversity and somebody falls in love. Always somebody is falling in love wise, erotic.

01:30:08 --> 01:30:15
			And that is to keep you busy on the flesh level, on a kernel level like animals

01:30:16 --> 01:30:44
			to take you out of the level of Malacca, that is one of the beauties of the month of Ramadan.
Because our Shahada, you know, if we are really fasting, we learn to control our desires. And in a
sense, we're like angels, because the angels they are they obey Allah, if Allah ma you Maroon, they
do what they are commanded, they do not have the desires like human beings. And so we're we're like
angels, in a sense in the month of Ramadan.

01:30:46 --> 01:30:55
			We don't need the food in the drink. We don't need the carnal pleasures we have been fasting
properly in that month. And so it is true the desires

01:30:56 --> 01:31:15
			through the lowering of shame, decency and modesty. When this is taken out of an individual, the net
person's limits have been broken, and they're capable of anything. And the prophet SAW some of them
said, either lambda study first now,

01:31:17 --> 01:31:27
			if you don't have higher, if you don't have decency and modesty, then you do what you want, you're
capable of anything, because the limits are gone now.

01:31:28 --> 01:32:00
			And so this is why you see the original followers of Moses musala. He saw them in modest dress and
actions. You see the original followers of Jesus, he saw a slum in modest dress and actions. You see
the last form of Mohammed Salah, Salah, in modest dress that action, it is the way of the prophets
so that we can relate to each other on a higher stage than the animal stage. But the but the evil
one, while the other Billa uses it as a muscle to get inside the heart,

01:32:02 --> 01:32:03
			and the *

01:32:04 --> 01:32:12
			and the fashions that we follow so blindly forcing people to expose their bodies.

01:32:13 --> 01:32:20
			This is taking people to another stage, and it corrupts the whole individual. Number four,

01:32:21 --> 01:32:40
			the love. And this is interesting that the scholars said this hundreds of years ago, they said the
love of fancy clothes, and a fancy big house, a nice ride might have been a horse for them, then now
it's Hollywood is Lamborghini. It's a different time now.

01:32:41 --> 01:33:16
			But when you love these things, when you work for these things, the evil one can get into you. This
is deception that is going on. And there are many people who think that they are saved. They think
that they are righteous Muslims, that their movement is the same * they are above and they are
being controlled by their desires. And the evil one is getting them from around the back. They don't
even realize their whole body is being corrupted, because of the love of fancy things.

01:33:17 --> 01:34:03
			Yes, we should have good things we should provide for ourselves, protect our bodies, protect our
family. There's nothing wrong with that. But when it starts to go overboard, this is when the evil
one can come. Number five, being too filled with food and drink satisfied. When you're too satisfied
and become lazy, then the evil one will appear to be lack can come to you in that state of mind. And
this is why you see the profit so seldom in eating food will only fill his stomach with one third of
food, one third of water and leave the other third empty and that whenever gold and silver came into
Medina, he would not sleep until he gave it all away.

01:34:05 --> 01:34:06
			And so

01:34:09 --> 01:34:15
			the satisfaction a person feels in the junior can also be a way that the evil one can come inside.

01:34:16 --> 01:34:55
			Number six. This is a desire for people over gratification of people making people idols, you
worship them and you follow their ways. And they even call some of the rock stars now. And movie
stars they call them idols literally call them a snap and people will fall down and scream and they
will shake because the star is coming in. And he himself if you get to know some of these movie
stars, or some of these musicians, most of them are just scared little men.

01:34:56 --> 01:34:59
			But when they pump themselves with drugs and dance around on the stage

01:35:00 --> 01:35:04
			You think he's greater than life. But if you meet him, he's a scared little man.

01:35:05 --> 01:35:17
			If you meet that the fashion model, you can see she's an anorexic girl who can't even hold down
food, and is probably on drugs to stay as finished he is in order to be a model.

01:35:19 --> 01:35:39
			And so when we desire what people have, and have an overt gratification for them, that the evil one
will be so beloved, and this is really around the corner, can come to us and influence us in ways
that we know nuts. Number seven, haste, doing things too quickly.

01:35:40 --> 01:35:46
			And the prophets of Salaam said Allah Jalla min ash shaytaan. haste is from the devil.

01:35:47 --> 01:36:02
			We too hasty. We want to get married real fast. We see somebody and they say, Oh no, he looks good.
And he has a nice curl in his hair and he's so handsome. And he speaks so nicely and we want to get
married. Does he have a job?

01:36:04 --> 01:36:05
			Do you know where he comes from?

01:36:06 --> 01:36:09
			No, he speaks he said the heartbeat so nice.

01:36:10 --> 01:36:15
			Find out about his family's Kapha cafa suitability

01:36:16 --> 01:36:19
			find out about whether he has a job he can provide.

01:36:20 --> 01:36:23
			test him to see whether he is really the one

01:36:24 --> 01:36:35
			and in many cases men also they get angry with the overabundance of anger and then they say talaq,
talaq talaq, they divorced their wife over and over again. And then they said

01:36:38 --> 01:36:42
			they were too fast. And they look for a Mufti to get them effectual.

01:36:43 --> 01:36:56
			So they can get back in the marriage. And it is a sad affair when it happens. But the essence of it
is the haste that the devil will use what you have the ability to destroy everything in your path.

01:36:57 --> 01:37:14
			Number eight, when the loving of wealth wealth itself in an overabundance, or a small amount of
wealth, poverty, these can also lead people astray and cause people to do things that they don't
normally do.

01:37:15 --> 01:37:46
			And so wealth is a major test on this oma and the protocol Southern said in the liquidly, oma fitna,
we're fitna to Almighty Allah. Every nation has a test. And the test and trial of my nation is
wealth. And today, it's either too much as you see in some Muslim countries, or it's not enough
where poverty reigns in the lives of the believers. Number nine, and this is an interesting point

01:37:48 --> 01:38:01
			is like he's with us today. Being fanatical in your school of thought. This is an interesting point.
A person is fanatical. He's under NDA.

01:38:02 --> 01:38:07
			And he's fanatical in his school of Teresa hanafy. And he doesn't like Sharpies.

01:38:08 --> 01:38:10
			He's another key and he doesn't want to be around.

01:38:12 --> 01:38:18
			He's fanatical. Like you can even take it a step further and say fanatical, even in organization.

01:38:19 --> 01:38:24
			My organization is better than yours. My chef is better than your chef.

01:38:25 --> 01:38:30
			I am 100 free. One brother came to me and said Is it permissible for Shafi to Mariana?

01:38:32 --> 01:38:37
			Sasha what religion are you? Are we are you? Jehovah's Witnesses are what are you?

01:38:39 --> 01:38:42
			You broke away from the mainstream. What is your problem?

01:38:43 --> 01:38:52
			The great scholars were students and teachers of each other. And it is reported that we mama Shafi
Rahim of olark came into Iraq.

01:38:53 --> 01:38:57
			And he went to the master of your Mount Abu hanifa Rahim Allah It was fudger prayer

01:38:59 --> 01:39:09
			and the Sharpies and fauja it was the federal of the Imam to make Dr. Kanoute all the time every
day. So they will make your afternoon when they're coming up from the second record.

01:39:11 --> 01:39:16
			They said imam leads to Allah. He led sola and he did not make too accurate.

01:39:18 --> 01:39:28
			Afterwards they said imagine your school of thought, don't you make two afternoons and he said no, I
am in the masjid of Imam Abu hanifa. And I respect this position.

01:39:29 --> 01:39:53
			I respect this position. You see the Imams that's how they dealt with each other. It is said that
Mr. Malik Rahim Allah Eman Dara hegira, the great Imam of the land of the hegira Medina, who had the
first book of Hadith and Mata that the great Imam Rahim Allah one day he was sitting in his mejlis
and a messenger came from the leader of Mecca.

01:39:55 --> 01:39:59
			messenger said we have a young boy with us. We want you to teach this boy

01:40:00 --> 01:40:03
			Now Mr. Malik, he didn't take orders from anybody.

01:40:04 --> 01:40:13
			And he looked at them and he turned away they said no, please the mayor is saying, teach this boy.
His position was not to bow down to the Amiens.

01:40:14 --> 01:40:16
			But he said, okay, bring the boy.

01:40:17 --> 01:40:32
			And when he listened to the boy and watch the boy, he then said, Let this boy Sit down. He has a
future. This boy has a future. You know who he was. That little boy that was the mama Shafi

01:40:34 --> 01:40:35
			was the mama Shafi Rahim Allah

01:40:37 --> 01:41:12
			who later became one of the great leaders in Islam, look at the relationship of the Imams. So how
can you say, one is better than the other or you fight the other because you're this, this is a way
that the evil one can come into the ranks, where people are a little Qiblah, you have another Muslim
that person is 90%, or 95%, the same as you and 5% different than you. So do you focus on the 5% or
the 95%, we should focus on the 95%.

01:41:14 --> 01:41:24
			If there's something wrong with another Muslim, it is the way of the scholars give that person
advice, sincere advice, if they don't accept it, make draft for them.

01:41:25 --> 01:41:26
			Pray for them.

01:41:27 --> 01:41:35
			Do not scandalized them and backed by them, or hold hatred in your heart. When that hatred comes
inside. This is the evil one.

01:41:37 --> 01:41:52
			This is how he's coming into our ranks now. Where people in Islamic movements feel that they
criticize and hate and feel negativity when they see another Muslim coming down the street. This is
a strange condition.

01:41:54 --> 01:41:55
			This is a strange condition.

01:41:57 --> 01:41:59
			If you were in the middle of an earthquake,

01:42:01 --> 01:42:15
			and the earth is rumbling now, and the building is falling down on you and somebody comes to your
rescue, he's holding the building down and saving your life. Are you gonna turn to him and say,
brother, are you a hanafy?

01:42:19 --> 01:42:21
			You don't care what he is.

01:42:22 --> 01:42:24
			Because it's an emergency situation.

01:42:26 --> 01:42:48
			And we are living in an emergency we are living under an ideological attack, which is bombarding us
bombarding our children, taking them off the path confusing them with their identity, they don't
know who they are or what they are confused. And so we need that unity and that direction, that
forgiveness for each other.

01:42:49 --> 01:43:02
			This is the real example of the Prophet Sal. Sal is not being harsh, it's forgiveness. He even
wanted to pray for the moon architeam for the head of the moon Africa, he wanted to pray for him.

01:43:05 --> 01:43:07
			The next point, which is an interesting point.

01:43:09 --> 01:43:22
			And that is forcing people to reflect upon the names and descriptions of Allah subhanaw taala,
forcing them to reflect on this constantly. You force the common people into this situation.

01:43:24 --> 01:43:41
			And this philosophy, philosophical debates that go on with people who do not study properly the soul
of the dean, it will cause people to go off the path, they will come into Islam, and instead of
learning the fundamentals of Islam, they will learn how to debate you on a little issue.

01:43:42 --> 01:43:51
			And so bring it to the issue of philosophical debate. And that can bring hatred in their heart. That
is how the evil one is dividing us up to date. Well, you have to be like

01:43:53 --> 01:44:05
			the last point from the list. And there are so many other points, but they focused on these 11
points. The last point is suspecting other Muslims. So as Dan

01:44:07 --> 01:44:07
			will Muslim if

01:44:08 --> 01:44:16
			you suspect them, you look at them and you prejudge them, they call it in our language, prejudice.

01:44:18 --> 01:44:55
The prophet SAW Selim said there were three people in koresh. They were the
best of people. When they spoke to you, they will tell you the truth. And when you spoke to them,
they would not accuse you of lying

01:44:57 --> 01:44:59
			Abubakar, acidic or smelly

01:45:00 --> 01:45:05
			ebonyi offend Abu Zubaydah, Ivanova, rah, rah, the loved one,

01:45:06 --> 01:45:09
			they were Cathedral high up. They had modesty,

01:45:10 --> 01:45:18
			modesty and decency about them. And if you spoke to them, you're innocent until proven guilty,

01:45:19 --> 01:45:24
			they will give you the benefit of the doubt, they were the best of kodesh

01:45:26 --> 01:45:28
			they were the best of the believers in their time.

01:45:29 --> 01:45:47
			So there is a quality we need innocence when we're dealing with each other, not feeling negative
about a person and judging a person. And even if you find that person doing something wrong, then
forgive that person. We need to spend more time with forgiveness than we do with passionates.

01:45:49 --> 01:46:06
			This is the time of functional unity. And if we cannot unite 100% Then let us unite around issues
which can which will help society and help the world. Islam can bring answers to problems right here
in this country.

01:46:07 --> 01:46:17
			Problems of alcoholism and drugs, problems of homelessness, of racism, abuse,

01:46:18 --> 01:46:43
			psychological problems, despair in life about the hereafter. So many people commit suicide and they
living in despair, because they're not sure what's gonna happen in the next life. We are holding
gems of wisdom with us that we need to share with this society and stand up and be part of the
society. And don't be ashamed of yourself in this society.

01:46:44 --> 01:46:48
			I recently was just in Melbourne and they have this exhibit

01:46:49 --> 01:46:51
			at the immigration museum.

01:46:52 --> 01:47:02
			And there they have Muslim camellias where they showed that Muslims in the 1800s opened up the
centre of Australia.

01:47:04 --> 01:47:27
			Many of the modern highways that we have follow the tracks of the of the camellias. And it was even
set in the exhibit that some of these camellias did such are great exploits, they should be known as
explorers, not just camellias as great explorers, for the exploits that they did in the opening up
of the center of this country. And they held on to their Dean.

01:47:29 --> 01:48:05
			They built massage at masjids in Alice Springs. And you will see in Adelaide and other places their
traces are still there. We are part of this society, as we were as we are part of America, as we are
part of the whole world because tawheed the oneness of Allah is something which every nation shared.
The original people in this society had a prophet and a messenger. They had somebody who came to
them, according to the text of the Quran. And if you go into their culture, their folk traditions,
you will find monotheism,

01:48:07 --> 01:48:09
			you will find many of the things that we enjoy.

01:48:10 --> 01:48:39
			And so we need to change our analysis of things at this critical point. And Allah is so Murthy
merciful, if we have done something wrong, Allah tells us in the La Jolla for the new berjaya Allah
forgives all sins. And so at this critical point in time when Muslims are feeling pressure, I leave
you with the example of the Prophet Mohammed Salah Salaam who did not speak from himself.

01:48:40 --> 01:48:59
			He has given a legacy and I want to share this legacy with you tonight. This is a tradition which is
not so well known in our community. We have it in the 40 hadith of Islamic revival, which will be
available to you soon inshallah. And this is a hadith reported by amirul momineen Ali Ibn Abi taalib
rhodiola. One

01:49:01 --> 01:49:39
			at least said when I took possession of the weapon of the Prophet peace be upon him, I found in the
hilt of the sword of parchment. Now remember that Lee was the oldest male member of the family, he
took care of the funeral janaza of the prophet SAW Selim, he had the his his, his his things, his
property, his inheritance, and so he got the solid and the Prophet was unleaded, but he must have
dictated to somebody to write because Ali was lettered a Li was one of the people who was writing in
Mecca. He was writing early.

01:49:40 --> 01:49:49
			He knew how to write. And so Ali reports what he put on the parchment. What do you think somebody
would put on a sword?

01:49:50 --> 01:49:53
			What would they put on their weapon today born to kill?

01:49:55 --> 01:49:56
			They would curse the enemies.

01:49:58 --> 01:50:00
			What is the powerful, solemn put on this

01:50:00 --> 01:50:02
			saw the one who they claim was a terrorist.

01:50:03 --> 01:50:13
			He said Silman kataka, well as an element of a lake wakulla Willow Allen apsic. Three great
principles.

01:50:14 --> 01:50:21
			He said filmen pataka. Keep relations with those who cut you off.

01:50:22 --> 01:50:26
			And do good with people, even if they harm you.

01:50:27 --> 01:50:31
			And speak the truth, even if it is against yourself.

01:50:32 --> 01:50:41
			Three great principles we need to embrace in these times of pressure and confusion that we're facing
in the world.

01:50:42 --> 01:50:50
			Keep relationships, make relationships with those who cut you off, if you are a new Muslim, if you
have embraced Islam, love your mother.

01:50:52 --> 01:50:53
			Love your father.

01:50:54 --> 01:51:08
			Keep relation with your family, we don't follow them, if they commanded us to do polytheism, or
something wrong, but love them, respect them. Keep relationship with this society. Even if the
society attacks us.

01:51:09 --> 01:51:18
			Keep relationship, keep showing them the Islamic position on certain issues, show them that Islam is
the religion of peace, it is not a religion of terror.

01:51:20 --> 01:51:27
			The second principle, do good to people, even if they harm you, you don't fight evil with evil.

01:51:29 --> 01:51:58
			The Prophet told them, when he had difficulty in Mecca, he went to tarrif. And in taught if they
stoned him, they stoned him to the blood ran down on the sandals. And the angel of the mountains
came and tie up his way up in the mountains in the south. And the angel said, I will destroy these
people. And the process of upset in words, do not destroy them. Because maybe amongst them would be
those would worship Allah alone and not associate partners.

01:51:59 --> 01:52:05
			And he lived to see that people have come into Islam in crowds.

01:52:06 --> 01:52:17
			He lives to see this. So no matter what happens in society, no matter what is going on, we don't
fight evil and corruption with evil and corruption.

01:52:19 --> 01:52:25
			We stand up for our independence, we resist an occupied zones.

01:52:27 --> 01:52:34
			But it is it is the character of Islam the patient's under oppression, which eventually won the
hearts of the polish.

01:52:36 --> 01:53:20
			And the last principle, speak the truth, even if it is against yourself. This is conflict
resolution. And we need to have conflict resolution in our community and in our nations all
throughout the world. So I leave you with these thoughts. And I asked the Lord to have mercy on me
and you and to protect the children of the home of Mohammed Salah Salaam, may Allah have mercy and
protect the honor and the dignity of the women of the home of Muhammad SAW Allah. May Allah protect
the men, strengthen the men of the home of Mohammed so salam, may Allah raise up those righteous
leaders, to take our countries from darkness into light. And to provide an example for all of

01:53:20 --> 01:53:28
			humanity in this time of confusion and upheaval. May Allah forgive us for what we have done, For we
know not what we do.

01:53:29 --> 01:53:40
			I leave you with these thoughts. And I asked a lot to have mercy on me and you are accurate. Juana
and Al hamdu Lillahi Rabbil alameen wa Salam alaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

01:53:51 --> 01:53:56
			Ah, I'm sure all of us got introduced. Shiny.

01:54:15 --> 01:54:20
			As many of you are aware, or DCA has been barred from purchasing or let's build a message.

01:54:23 --> 01:54:28
			on purchasing this block of land development application was submitted to

01:54:30 --> 01:54:30
			the public works

01:54:33 --> 01:54:35
			with religion 1000

01:54:37 --> 01:54:39
			at this stage was cancelled,

01:54:40 --> 01:54:44
			or GCA embarked on raising the money to purchase the land.

01:54:46 --> 01:54:54
			The property is located at 361 Chisholm road Orban is located in the hearts of a large and growing
Muslim community.

01:54:55 --> 01:54:59
			And in this region, very few mustards exist

01:55:00 --> 01:55:02
			cater for the needs of the local Muslim community.

01:55:03 --> 01:55:16
			The land is located in an industrial zone at the same time is located in close proximity to
residential areas and one kilometer easy walk to riches Park Station

01:55:19 --> 01:55:20
			aspect of the property.

01:55:22 --> 01:55:32
			The size of the property of the proposed budget faces an East West direction which is very much
suited for the creative direction.

01:55:33 --> 01:55:40
			The lane is fairly flattened open to the south of the property. There exists a public reserve

01:55:42 --> 01:55:43
			the size and

01:55:46 --> 01:55:51
			the size of the block of land is 3882 square meters.

01:55:52 --> 01:56:00
			It has a it has a transit of 37.5 liters and a maximum of 134 liters.

01:56:01 --> 01:56:14
			The cost of the land is $1.8 million. That's including GST Alhamdulillah as you now know, we have
raised approximately $1.7 million

01:56:17 --> 01:56:22
			for the generous donations of the Muslim community, and we require only

01:56:23 --> 01:56:27
			$85,000 to complete the payment of this property.

01:56:29 --> 01:56:31
			The proposed budget

01:56:32 --> 01:56:46
			the proposed budget consists of two levels, large parking area accommodating for 33 class spaces
with a large area at the rear of the property which may be used to accommodate an overflow of car
parking.

01:56:48 --> 01:56:50
			Since the DEA has been approved,

01:56:51 --> 01:57:00
			construction of the busted can start when construction certificate is obtained, which eg takes a few
weeks to be granted.

01:57:05 --> 01:57:10
			We'll go through some 3d images of the proposed budget

01:57:14 --> 01:57:14
			a really neat

01:57:18 --> 01:57:18
			thing

01:57:20 --> 01:57:20
			the ground floor

01:57:21 --> 01:57:29
			will consist of a large area of approximately 400 square meters, library officers classrooms,

01:57:30 --> 01:57:34
			administration rooms, photo area and other ancillary uses.

01:57:36 --> 01:57:37
			But first of all flag

01:57:38 --> 01:57:42
			so first of all theater will consist of a large print area

01:57:44 --> 01:57:49
			approximately five classrooms will go area in other ancillary cases.

01:57:52 --> 01:57:55
			In conclusion, brothers and sisters

01:57:57 --> 01:58:00
			It is truly an investment for that era.

01:58:01 --> 01:58:29
			It is very rare that we come across such a large budget approved by Council in a local area and then
funding in there. Most of the money has been raised. All we require from the brothers and sisters
tonight is to dig a little bit deeper. They need that extra in over in order to write his remaining
$85,000 in order for us to seal the purchase of this land and start with the construction of the
Santa Monica.

01:58:38 --> 01:58:55
			Ready Ready for the summer. You can find more information on the website builder mastery calm and
also outside there prospectuses in Arabic English for you to read more details about this project.
Now I'm going to call upon to give some final words and that is perfect.

01:59:07 --> 01:59:08
			Get up to speed.

01:59:19 --> 01:59:20
			Now of course

01:59:23 --> 01:59:25
			he doesn't know because he

01:59:26 --> 01:59:33
			doesn't know this when he came in. So he doesn't always know. Now I want everyone to look at issues.

01:59:34 --> 01:59:35
			Everybody has issues

01:59:36 --> 01:59:37
			but it's

01:59:38 --> 01:59:39
			just not the issues.

01:59:42 --> 01:59:45
			Okay, how much is the average pair of shoes

01:59:50 --> 01:59:50
			one was

01:59:55 --> 01:59:55
			taken

01:59:59 --> 01:59:59
			away

02:00:00 --> 02:00:01
			looked at the big beautiful.

02:00:02 --> 02:00:03
			There's about

02:00:05 --> 02:00:07
			$400 or $100.

02:00:09 --> 02:00:17
			Now, if I said to you one thing, if you there's approximately 290 people here, if you

02:00:18 --> 02:00:25
			paid for the wedding tonight, ladies, pay $290. And I guarantee you

02:00:27 --> 02:00:30
			that you'll be given a house the gentleman, would you want to know?

02:00:31 --> 02:00:46
			Yes. It'd be crazy if you if we got back three months or four months, when I came to the show, like
I said, Listen, there's a book that we're trying to get when we got an approval for MST. They said,
Wow, that's quite how much

02:00:49 --> 02:00:52
			they had dropped. And I said to the brothers, if you don't want to do it

02:00:54 --> 02:00:58
			if you don't want to do auto mode, because why I had full trust

02:00:59 --> 02:01:27
			even though we were limited in time, that will raise us money to build the house, but a lot of panel
data now, many people get sick of the same thing they go You know what, I'm sick of you telling me
I'm sick of hearing I'm sick either SMS email, I'm saying if you ask me, but you're sick of Allah
subhanaw taala giving you a reward, he's giving you a chance to work very well. For the hereafter. I
usually come across giving you this he's giving you a present

02:01:31 --> 02:01:32
			this is the Muslim Unfortunately,

02:01:33 --> 02:01:34
			we don't keep boys

02:01:37 --> 02:01:39
			I used to run they used to convey

02:01:43 --> 02:01:44
			a woman

02:01:46 --> 02:01:54
			to complete rushing. So where is this competition in this day and age? We can we can talking. In
fact volume explained up

02:01:55 --> 02:02:00
			it means that we can we can just avoid it completely right? Just cuz why

02:02:03 --> 02:02:08
			3582 square meters. For the House of Commons.

02:02:09 --> 02:02:12
			You'll be rewarded. As long as this house

02:02:13 --> 02:02:23
			is standing. And everyone everyone that this house is what it is interested for the Muslims. It's in
everyone's name.

02:02:24 --> 02:02:34
			I don't want to push too much. But you know what to do. We have $80,000 and we have 10 days. There's
envelopes. And also we made certificates.

02:02:35 --> 02:02:36
			He purchased this

02:02:37 --> 02:02:41
			for $450. That's one square meter. As easy as that.

02:02:42 --> 02:02:52
			Get the reward and be greedy. be greedy, but you're here after and stop thinking it happens again,
thinking at the moment one minute, I have maybe $600 for the week. I've got to do to

02:02:53 --> 02:02:56
			do this. I have to do that this morning, this afternoon.

02:03:01 --> 02:03:02
			motivating the people

02:03:04 --> 02:03:05
			and then

02:03:11 --> 02:03:14
			it gets a phone call in the morning and I was mentioning this yesterday.

02:03:16 --> 02:03:17
			I'll give you

02:03:18 --> 02:03:19
			in the morning

02:03:20 --> 02:03:27
			contracts. They got a huge job. And he rang me and said by Allah reward you for reminding us because
what happens in a

02:03:29 --> 02:03:36
			trade and if something says small, I say 270 $275 is nothing different you can

02:03:38 --> 02:03:38
			but please if

02:03:45 --> 02:03:47
			you're unable to do you want reward.

02:03:48 --> 02:03:49
			You want more and more, give more.

02:03:59 --> 02:04:01
			We're gonna take a break now. Five minutes

02:04:02 --> 02:04:03
			for question answers

02:04:04 --> 02:04:05
			to the auditorium
