All praise is due to Allah subhanahu wa Tada. We praise Him. We seek His help. And we ask Finnis forgiveness. We send the salutations upon the Beloved Prophet Muhammad if not Abdullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, his family and his friends. We should also praise and thank Allah to Allah for allowing us once again to be gathered here today, to listen to the Juma Huzzah. And to perform the Jamal salah. I ask Allah subhana wa Tala to bless each and every one of us. And I asked Allah subhanahu wa taala to gather us like we are gathered here, but in janitorial for the dose, I mean,
as you all know, students and the teachers this week and next week, you are going through your yearly examinations. For most of you this week is your Islamic department exams. And next week will be your other KLA exams.
And you know that throughout this year, you have studied certain subjects, and the topics under those subjects, you've gone through theory, you've gone through some practical lessons as well. And now is the time where you are being tested, you are being tested of your knowledge of the practice that you have done throughout the UI, and also the knowledge that you have gained. So the questions that are asked in the exams, you are now writing down your answers based on what you have learned.
And then the teachers mark that exam. And then you are given your examination results.
And we know this because we go through it every single year, our half yearly exams, our yearly exams and of course the assessments in between as well.
Now this life that Allah Allah has given us this life is also a trial a test.
And inshallah this chutzpah, I want to give you some insights of the reality of the actual examinations and the questioning that Allah Tala is going to ask us
and that is the examination and the questioning, that will determine our accuracy. It will determine Jana or it will determine Johanna.
Now this is not to scare anyone of you. But this is to give you that understanding of the reality of our life. And how Allah Tala will ask us on the Day of Judgment how we lived our life on Earth.
In our Earth man or the Allah Juan, whenever he would sit down me a grave site, near grave, or whenever the Sahaba So the Prophet SAW Selim will talk about death, also known rhodiola, who one would cry so much, so much so that his beard will become wet with tears. And the Sahabas would notice that whenever the prophet will talk about Jana and Johanna, oath, man wouldn't really cry. But when it was about death, and the grave of man would cry a lot. So the question was asked to download the Allah one. Why is it that when we speak about death or the grave or when we need a grave site, you cry so much that you'll be it becomes wicks. But when we talk about Jana and
Johanna, and you don't really cry, or smile, or the Allah who won, he said, and he replied, that the grave is the first step of the earth era.
The grave is the first step of the earth era. The Prophet said Allah Azza wa sallam, he said that if you pass that state that stage, then everything else will become easy. And if you fail that stage, then everything else will become difficult. That is why I cry when we talk about death or the grave, or when I need a grave site. That's a that's an amazing response. Because Oh, man understood that that is it. That's the moment when you're in that grave. And when those questions are asked, that is the moment that will determine your future, whether it's going to be Jana, or whether it's going to be Johanna. So it's something that we need to consider. We study a lot for our exams in the half
linearly exams, as we can see, that's great. We study a lot we go through revision, we sit down, we teachers, Robbie, go through some type of responses, though, you know, that we can write, it's great to see that determination, that drive, but we need to see the same determination, the same drive so that we can answer the questions that will be asked in the grave, and on the Day of Judgment, because that will determine your your future. I'll borrow the Allahu Allah. And he said, once we went out with the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam for a funeral. And after a funeral finished, he said, we sat down really quietly,
right, so much. So the Prophet was so still there, you could have a bird sitting on him. That's how still he was. He was thinking deeply. And he said, he had a stick with him, and he was drawing on the sand. And then he said, he looked up at the sahabas. And then he said to them, seek refuge with Allah from the torment of the grave. He said that once, he said that twice, and then he said that the third time, then he gave a lengthy message, I'm not going to go through that lengthy message. It's all about how a person passes away and how the soul comes out. But the main point I want to mention on that story, he said, When the righteous soul comes back to the body inside the grave, the
angels come to him. He's they sit him up, and they ask him these questions. Now, these are the questions. Allah is telling you what the questions are. You know what the questions are, but you will only be able to answer these questions if you live upon it on earth. Because this life, as we said, is a test. And what are those questions? He said, Allahu alayhi wa sallam said, that they will ask him, Who is your Lord?
We all know the answer to that. The righteous person will say, My Lord is Allah. They will say, What is your religion? He will answer my religion is Islam. They will say, Who is the man who was sent among you? He will say He is a messenger of ALLAH, Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. And in this particular Hadith, they mentioned a fourth question, they will say, and what did you do? He says, I re read the book of Allah, the Quran, and I believed in it, a voice will be called out from their heaven, saying, My slave has spoken the truth. So prepare for him a bed from Paradise, and clothe him from Paradise and open the gates of paradise to him, then, they will come to him some beautiful
fragrance of paradise. His grave is made wide as far as the eye can see. Then they comes to him, a man with a handsome face and a handsome, handsome clothes, and good fragrance who will say, receive the glad tidings that will bring you joy this day, that person will say, who are you? Your face is the face which bring glad tidings, he will say, I am your righteous deeds. He says, that person that is in the grave, he goes to Allah and he says, Ya Allah, bring the Day of Judgment quickly, because I want to go to my family, and I want to go to my wealth, because that person in the grave can now visually see his place in Paradise, and his wealth. Everything that he's gonna get, he can see it in
his grave. Then the Prophet saw some talks about what happens to the bad person. What happens to the person who was evil, who lived an immoral life, who lived a life of sin, the prophets Arsalan, he said, When the soul returns to his body, two angels come to him, make him sit up and they ask him these questions. Who is your Lord? This is how they will answer. They will say, Oh,
I don't know. They will say What is your religion? He will say, Ah, I don't know.
And then you they will ask who is the man who came amongst you?
You will say, I don't know. But I remember someone saying Mohamed, but I don't know. Then a voice will be called out from the heavens, which will say, prepare for him a bed from hellfire and clothe him from *, and open for him a gate to *. And they comes to him some of its heat and hot winds, and his grave is constricted and compresses him until his ribs interlock, then they comes to him a man with an ugly face and an ugly clothes with a foul stench, who will say, receive the bad news. This is the day that you will promised, He will say who are you, you will face his face, which brings evil he says I am your evil deeds. He will say your Allah do not let the Day of Judgment
come. Do not let the Day of Judgment come. Imagine the regret on that day. Now, some of you might think or some of us might think I know the answers to the question. But I'm gonna ask you sincerely that if you get hurt today, you know, some people say I'm gonna say let you know Hey, Lola, before I die, I mean into paradise. Because that's what the Prophet SAW Selim, he said, mancala La ilaha illallah de Halal Jana, whoever says La ilaha illallah will enter paradise. And I've heard people say, You know what, I'm gonna live my life how I want to, and just before I die, I'm gonna say La ilaha illAllah. And I'll be able to answer those questions. But let me ask you, if you get hurt,
let's say something drops on your foot. Right? Or you trip over something? What are the first words that come out of your mouth? Oh, gosh, and you know the rest of the story? Right? We start swearing, we we won't be able to remember La ilaha illAllah. When the pains of death comes, we will not be able to remember to answer those questions if we don't live a life of la ilaha illAllah. That is why those questions are so important. You know the question, you know the answers, but you will only be able to answer those questions. If we live a life of Islam. Apollo probably had the worst of the law now the money will come first and fill in the hole.
In Al hamdu lillah wa Salatu was Salam ala Nabina Muhammad wa ala Ali early he was so happy he was a limiter Sleeman. Kathira a mother.
Now, I want you to imagine, I know we can't imagine it exactly because our minds cannot comprehend. But try to imagine the second blowing of the trumpet. So we know the first blowing of the trumpet. Everything will cease to exist, everything will be destroyed. In the second blowing of the trumpet, people will be resurrected. And as Allah subhanho wa Taala says they'll be running around frantically what's going on? They will be so scared of what's going on in front of their eyes. Allah subhanho wa Taala he said, So I either saw yo maya federal neuroimmune assay whoa me he was he was Sahiba thinking you have any liquid limiting Him in whom Yo Ma even shirt no yagni Would you who Yo
Ma even more Sera, ba HCA to Mustafa Shira whoo hoo yo, ma even Alejandra sorrow Haku Patara, hola ICA who will care for Otto in federal, he says, but when they comes the Deafening Blast of the second blowing of the trumpet. That day a man will flee from his brother, he will not know who his brother is. And his mother and his father, his mother and father will not be able to help him
and his wife and his children, no one will be able to help him in any way.
For each one of them that day will have enough preoccupations of his own. He will be thinking deeply about what he has done. And now I'm going to face Allah to Allah and answer his questions. Some faces that Day will be bright, laughing rejoicing a good news are the faces that they will have upon them dust blackened will cover them. Blackness will cover them. Those are the disbelievers the wicked ones. Allah subhana wa Taala makes it very clean. And I'm going to end off with one Hadith that tells us the type of questions that Allah Tala will ask us on that day, the day of judgment. There is one Hadith where the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said later Zulu furthermore
econo Adama yarmulke Yama, Tina, India Rafi, Hector use Allah and comes. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, on the day of judgment the feet of Adam will not move meaning all of us were the children of Adam. The feet of the children of Adam will not move until five questions are asked. So Allah is now telling again
The questions the question is, or they are, I'm normally he females now
one of the questions will be his life and how he lived it. So Allah will ask about your life and how you live your life. Why should I be female bla, he's youth, and how he lived in your young days, because we know your young days has a lot of distractions. There's a lot of distractions away from the deen of Allah. So Allah is testing you while you are young, are you gonna uphold the truth? Are you going to uphold the deen of Allah or not? We're mainly him in ADA accessible, who were female and Falco and his wealth, how he earned it, and how he spent it. So two questions. How did you earn your wealth? Did you earn your wealth in a halal way? Or and how did you spend it? Did you spend
your wealth in a halal way
and at the end, warmer the warmer the amela phenom is female and how he acted upon his knowledge. So the knowledge that you are gaining right now, what are you going to do with that knowledge? That is something that Allah subhanahu wa taala will ask those five questions that are more but in the in this hadith the Prophet mentions five
and Allah see, the most important question on the Day of Judgment will make all the other questions easy. Allah to Allah will ask all of us about our salah, about our prayers.
So many of us today probably did not wake up for fission.
So many of us yesterday the day before, probably didn't wake up for surgery. Maybe we missed out Asia, maybe when Mr. McGarry because we were too busy watching cricket. I don't know. But we've missed our prayers.
And Allah Tala the first question he will ask on the Day of Judgment is about your Salah.
And the Prophet sallahu wa salam, he said, If your Salah is good, the rest of your deeds will be good.
So that means the rest of the question will become easy because your deeds are going to be good. But if your Salah is bad, the shortcomings in your Salah, then expect the rest of your deeds will have shortcomings and the next set of questions will be difficult to answer.
So we ask Allah subhanahu wa taala to make us well prepared for these questions. I mean, we ask Allah subhanahu wa taala to make us prepared in terms of knowledge, and in terms of actions in this world so we can answer all of those questions with a smile on our face on a day of judgment say I mean, we ask Allah subhanahu wa taala to make the first steps and the day of judgment. So in the in the in the grave, the questioning in the grave, easy for us say I mean, we ask Allah subhanahu wa taala that we pass all of those questions and we all enter genital fildo Say me either the law in the law How am I law?
