00:00:18 --> 00:00:44
			Are we learned on your routine rajim Bismillahi Rahmani Raheem. In Alhamdulillah wa Salatu was Salam
ala Nabina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa seldom at the Sleeman Kathira rubbish roughly sultry
while you're certainly Emery wash loaded, that's a melissani of Coco Kohli and my bad. My dear
brothers and sisters Assalamu alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.

00:00:46 --> 00:01:33
			We begin by praising Allah subhanahu wa taala we praise Him, we seek His help and we ask for his
forgiveness. We all praise and thank Allah subhanahu wa taala for once again, allowing us to be
gathered in this beautiful message, of course with some social distancing Alhamdulillah but we are
gathered here we performed our Salah to Asia together in Jamar and this is a great Annamma a great
blessing from ALLAH SubhanA wa Tada and we should thank him for this opportunity. And that we are
here gathered after Salah learning from the lessons that have been taught to us by our beloved
Prophet Mohammed Abdullah Abdullah Salallahu Alaihe alayhi wa sallam.

00:01:34 --> 00:01:44
			So I ask Allah subhanahu wa taala to reward each and every one of you. And I asked Allah subhanahu
wa taala to gather us, like we are gathered here but in Jannah tool for DOS, I mean,

00:01:46 --> 00:02:22
			that today, as you probably are aware that the topic is, are we connected or disconnected? And I'm
talking about are we connected to Allah? Or are we disconnected to Allah subhana wa Tada. And to
start off the lesson today, I want you to pose a story, a very beautiful story. And every time when
I read the story, or hear the story, it always gives me goosebumps. But it's such a beautiful story.
It's Panelo the stories about him and

00:02:23 --> 00:02:32
			even humbler Hema hula, and he narrates the story. He said that he was traveling to Villa de Xiang.

00:02:34 --> 00:02:46
			And remember, Imam Ahmed was, as we know, a very famous Imam, and he's fine. Until today. We seek
knowledge from him, we gain knowledge, especially knowledge from him.

00:02:48 --> 00:03:02
			Subhanallah at the peak of his time, every Muslim almost every Muslim knew their name Imam Muhammad,
even humbler him Allah. But of course, he didn't have a Facebook account or a Twitter account. No
one knew how we look like.

00:03:03 --> 00:03:13
			Except for those around him. Except for those who are new to him in that town or that city that he
was from, nobody else know who he who he is.

00:03:14 --> 00:03:32
			And he took this journey to be allowed to Sherm to learn certain Hadith generations, about the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and back then as we know, the scholars used to travel a lot,
not like today in our fingertips Subhanallah we, we've got the Hadith, but they used to travel for
even one Hadith.

00:03:33 --> 00:03:44
			And when he reached to a certain place, he saw a message he was late at night, he saw a message. And
he decided to take a risk in that message.

00:03:45 --> 00:03:46
			So he went inside.

00:03:47 --> 00:03:51
			And he went in one of the corners of the message, and he was laying down.

00:03:53 --> 00:03:56
			Now the security guard of the message, not knowing that he's the man at MIT.

00:03:57 --> 00:04:06
			He went up to him and said, hey, the metric is closed. You need to leave, get out in a very harsh
tone. You need to get out.

00:04:08 --> 00:04:12
			Say Muhammad, he replied, where am I gonna go? I'm a traveler. I mean, I need a place to stay.

00:04:14 --> 00:04:17
			But the man said, You need to get out of the mosque is closed.

00:04:18 --> 00:04:24
			So he picked up his things and he went outside in the corridor of the masjid. And he decided to lay
down on the corridors and

00:04:26 --> 00:04:31
			the security guard came again and he said, Hey, did not tell you to leave. The mosque is closed. Get
out of here.

00:04:32 --> 00:04:38
			Again, Mr. Mark has replied, we're not going to go. I'm gonna travel. I've got no place to go.

00:04:39 --> 00:04:49
			So upon this, the security guard was so annoyed that he grabbed the leg of Imam Ahmed dragged him to
the middle of the street, and he threw him there.

00:04:51 --> 00:05:00
			I imagine you know, and Imam Muhammad being a very humble guy. He is Subhanallah he did not tell him
you know who you're speaking to know he didn't mention

00:05:00 --> 00:05:00
			And that

00:05:01 --> 00:05:04
			now on the other side of the road, there was a baker.

00:05:06 --> 00:05:17
			And for those of you who know something about bakery, they get up really early in the morning, need
the bread, you know the dough and to get get all ready for the morning breakfast.

00:05:18 --> 00:05:37
			So he was up and he was doing his work and he saw the chaos outside the incident that happened. And
he went to the middle of the road. And he said to that man, which is Mr. McManus, we know he said to
him, do you need a place to stay? You can come and stay at my bakery. I'm I'm already up. I'm doing
some work there. You can come and stay there with me.

00:05:38 --> 00:05:44
			So Mr. Muhammad, he thanked him and he said, definitely thank you. And he went to the bakery.

00:05:45 --> 00:05:52
			named Muhammad he's trying to sleep or something is keeping him awake. While he was there, he was
witnessing the baker.

00:05:54 --> 00:06:03
			Now the baker, as he was working, getting the door ready, kneading the dough, putting it in the
oven, the entire time, his tongue

00:06:05 --> 00:06:24
			was moisten with the remembrance of Allah. The entire time he was eating the dough, he was saying
Subhanallah Alhamdulillah Allahu Akbar La ilaha illallah a stowford. Allah, He kept on repeating
these words continuously. And that kept him awake.

00:06:25 --> 00:06:39
			And he looked at that man, and he said, you know, in amazement, you know, what is it that you were
saying? I mean, has it done any benefit to you? This other car, the vicar of Allah? What benefit has
this given you?

00:06:40 --> 00:06:42
			So this baker, he said,

00:06:43 --> 00:06:55
			That's the remembrance of Allah that I do. I've been doing it for a long time. And the benefit that
I get from this is that every single dua that I have asked Allah has been accepted.

00:06:57 --> 00:07:08
			A Muhammad was shocked. He said, every single dua has been accepted by Allah. He said every single
dua has been accepted by Allah subhana wa taala. Except for one,

00:07:09 --> 00:07:16
			except for one. Say my mom had asked What is that one dua that has not been accepted? He said,

00:07:17 --> 00:07:19
			an oral enactment.

00:07:20 --> 00:07:37
			He said, to have a chance to see him an argument, that is only dua that has not been answered. And
he has nobody is speaking to him on. Imam Muhammad embraced this man and started to cry and he said,
Subhana Allah, how who Allah, but the jakka be

00:07:39 --> 00:07:41
			your Juru who will be originally he Ilana bazik.

00:07:42 --> 00:08:01
			He replied, Subhan Allah Glory be to Allah. This is Allah, that he grabbed the feet of Imam Ahmed
and dragged him not saying Imam Ahmed grabbed the feet of Ahmed, and took him towards your bakery
for you to have to be accepted. Allahu Akbar.

00:08:02 --> 00:08:05
			Do we know anything about these Baker other than this story? Not really.

00:08:06 --> 00:08:15
			No one really knows who this baker really is. But yet he has been chosen by Allah as a great servant
of Allah.

00:08:16 --> 00:08:21
			That Allah elevated his status that every single dollar of his was accepted,

00:08:22 --> 00:08:30
			including a chance to see him Allah subhanaw taala Of course, sha Allah to Allah He is in paradise.

00:08:31 --> 00:08:33
			But this makes you think,

00:08:34 --> 00:09:09
			how much this baker is connected to Allah? The question is about ourselves. How much are we
connected to Allah? How much the spirit and remembrance of Allah do we do on a daily basis? How is
our Salah in terms of who should towards Allah subhanahu wa taala? How is our dua to Allah subhanahu
wa taala the quality of Allah, I'll read citation of the Quran, the quality of our citation, how is
that when it comes to the connection of Allah Subhana Allah to Allah?

00:09:10 --> 00:09:12
			What are we connected to today?

00:09:13 --> 00:09:20
			If we look around our youth, if we look at ourselves as well, what are we connected to today?

00:09:21 --> 00:09:32
			And majority of us will say that we are connected to our devices, we are all connected to our
devices. Of course, there's nothing wrong with being connected to our devices if we use it in the
right way.

00:09:33 --> 00:09:59
			Like Alhamdulillah, we are live streaming. And of course during the lockdown, the massages have been
closed. And we have to use the technology that we have to give Dawa and of course, that is all part
of gaining the hasenhuttl of Allah. But a lot of our youth and us we are indulged in our devices and
we are using it to displease Allah subhanho wa Taala to be disconnect.

00:10:00 --> 00:10:04
			To the world, and be disconnected to the One who created the world.

00:10:05 --> 00:10:06
			That is what we are doing today.

00:10:08 --> 00:10:10
			We are connected to social media,

00:10:11 --> 00:10:24
			we are connected to Netflix to Stan. We are connected in our social media accounts, so many
different platforms, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram,

00:10:25 --> 00:10:29
			and a new one tick tock, we are connected to that today.

00:10:30 --> 00:10:42
			Ask the youth. And then hamdulillah Allah has blessed me to be teaching in a school, and I'm
speaking to the youth on a daily basis. And they tell me what the youth are connected to today. And
that is what they are connected to.

00:10:44 --> 00:11:06
			People don't understand the dangers of certain platforms, and how that disconnects them to Allah
subhanahu wa taala. They think what they are doing will benefit them. They think that it is cool to
be in these platforms. But they forget about the dangers and the effect it has on the mind of
people.

00:11:07 --> 00:11:13
			And it is Subhanallah it's mind blowing, when you realize the effects that it has. I'll give you a
couple of examples.

00:11:15 --> 00:11:15
			Face

00:11:17 --> 00:11:21
			the platforms where you watch movies like Netflix and Stan.

00:11:22 --> 00:11:32
			Today, almost every single movie, almost every single TV show, as an example, it has a homosexual
character.

00:11:34 --> 00:11:36
			And that has become so normal in the society,

00:11:38 --> 00:11:50
			that our youth are growing up watching this thinking that this is normal, that this has become
something normal. Now I'm not talking or having a debate about anything to do with homosexuality.

00:11:51 --> 00:12:17
			We're not talking about the homosexual people here. We are talking about the act itself. And what
Islam says about it, what Christianity says about it, what Judaism says about it, what the major
religions of the world say about it, we know. But this filth is now everywhere that our youth think
that it is normal to have homosexual tendencies because of what they are growing up watching.

00:12:19 --> 00:12:41
			And I have been in contact with people who asked the question, What is wrong with them, there's
nothing wrong with it, they are born with it. They are making us believe that it is normal. They are
making us believe that they are born with it. That is what is happening. While we are connected to
these things are not being connected to Allah subhanahu wa taala.

00:12:42 --> 00:12:44
			So much so

00:12:45 --> 00:12:51
			and without mentioning the name of any of the schools, but a particular Muslim school.

00:12:52 --> 00:13:00
			Someone has quotes, unfortunately, two students from the same gender making out in the bathroom.

00:13:01 --> 00:13:14
			This is Muslim school. This has become normal in the society how dangerous this is. So much so that
when an incident happened in our school a few years ago where a boy and a girl were put together

00:13:15 --> 00:13:17
			and one of the teachers said

00:13:18 --> 00:13:37
			that if I was the parent of that boy, I would at least be happy. It's a girl that he's making out
with to that extent, but people are happy that that is happening at least it's a girl Subhanallah
that is the world we live in today. That is the world your children are going up in

00:13:39 --> 00:13:50
			Tik Tok another example, out of all the social media platforms that I know of, to talk is one of the
worse and that is what I use today. I connected so much in

00:13:52 --> 00:14:02
			Tik Tok is taking our youth out of their shell, giving them the courage to do things they wouldn't
do in public.

00:14:03 --> 00:14:17
			The dances that they do in front of the camera, the body movements that they do in front of the
camera. I'm sure you've seen young youth Muslims out of nowhere, they'll start moving their body out
of nowhere they'll start doing these moves and acts.

00:14:19 --> 00:14:40
			Why? Why is it happening because they think this has become normal. It's part of life. It's part of
being cool. It's part of growing up, not understanding the dangers of coming out of the show, not
understanding the dangers of immodesty and the predators online that are out there. They're not
understanding this.

00:14:41 --> 00:14:50
			What saddened me was a case a chef mentioned in his talk, that there was a 16 year old girl who had

00:14:51 --> 00:14:53
			her videos on Tiktok

00:14:54 --> 00:14:56
			very immodest videos,

00:14:57 --> 00:14:59
			and because of a certain disease she had she passed away

00:15:01 --> 00:15:02
			Her parents

00:15:04 --> 00:15:07
			did not want her to be remembered by her videos online.

00:15:08 --> 00:15:19
			Her parents tried to remove those videos, but they could not. Why? Because it belongs to tick tock.
Everything I'll use your children put up online, it belongs to them.

00:15:21 --> 00:16:07
			That is the dangers of being connected to the filth that is out there and not being connected to
Allah subhanaw taala. But a lot of us don't know. And we will be questioned by Allah, knowing this
reality, what would you do to save our youth, from these problems from the filth of society, we will
be questioned by Allah. Therefore, I urge myself in all of you, if your parents, if your caretakers,
please watch and be mindful of what your children do online. Because Allah, He will have a
detrimental impact. If we are not watchful about these things. So much so that even police come to
schools and talk about the dangers of social media. If the police are doing that, what about us as

00:16:07 --> 00:16:10
			Muslims, we need to show people the dangers of this.

00:16:12 --> 00:16:38
			There was a study done may 2018. that on average, on average, Australians aged between 14 and 24.
They use social media one hour a day, put together one hour a day. And the study says the same study
says that women between the same ages go on social media two hours a day, same study.

00:16:39 --> 00:16:44
			And that's social media itself. Another study was done in June 2019.

00:16:45 --> 00:17:13
			Where on average, Australian will check their phones regularly, approximately 85 times a day, they
will check their phones. And you know what it's the panel has become so robotic, so mechanical, that
as soon as you're bored, you take your phone out and you start checking any messages, you know, any
post anything and start scrolling down when we're bored. That's what what that's what's happening.
It's become a normal reaction to being bored, that our phones has come out and we start checking
posts online.

00:17:15 --> 00:17:34
			And the study says that 6.5 hours a day we are spending in front of the screen. That's a lot. Yes,
it could be for good purposes. It could be for education, it could be for work purposes, that is
there. But a lot of it is trash. A lot of it that we're watching is trash. That is what we are
connected to today.

00:17:36 --> 00:18:02
			Why is it that when we're bored, we cannot remember Allah during that time? Why is it that when when
we are bored, we cannot do some to spear? Why is it that when we are born, we cannot remember the
verses of the Quran and start reciting it. Why can't we take out our phones and open the Quran and
start reading it? Why can't that happen? So there's something wrong with our mindset. We need to
connect back with Allah subhanho wa Taala we need to work on that and will lie in Alim our children.

00:18:03 --> 00:18:05
			They only learn from us.

00:18:06 --> 00:18:12
			And so many times the problems amongst the youth is because of what they see at home with their
parents.

00:18:14 --> 00:18:51
			How many cases how many people do you know, sadly, is you know that during dinner, when you're
supposed to be sitting with your family, conversing, it's a sunnah of the Prophet salallahu Alaihe
salam to when we eat, eat in a group and converse with them, food brings people together. But today,
we are so disconnected with our family that at dinner time that we place our children on one table,
put in front of them the iPad, and turn on something for them to watch so that they don't disturb
us. And we are on the other table watching whatever we want to watch the husband one side, the wife
on the other side, we are so disconnected to our family.

00:18:53 --> 00:19:09
			Then, of course, we're going to be disconnected to Allah, the problems between husband and wife
because of our devices. I've dealt with a few cases of divorce of issues between husband and wife.
Because the husband says she's got all of these guys from the work on her phone.

00:19:11 --> 00:19:28
			She's got them on as friends on Facebook, and I don't want her to be talking to them. And she says,
Well, he's got the guys on he's got the girls on his on his Facebook account. So why can I problems
between husband and wife to the extent where they eventually divorced?

00:19:30 --> 00:19:46
			If we're not connected to our spouses, how are we going to be connected to a law when we're so
involved in these things? And these are the reality we're living in today. Imagine this generation
now imagine their children and what's going to happen that their time what is what else is out there
to come?

00:19:47 --> 00:19:50
			You know, it scares me it scares all of us. Subhan Allah.

00:19:53 --> 00:19:59
			How long are we connected with Allah? That's a question we need to ask. If we spend so much time,
six and a half hours

00:20:00 --> 00:20:26
			Every day on the screen, two hours every day on social media, how much are we connected with Allah?
Think about on a daily basis. Your Salah if you combine the father prayers, no more than half an
hour a day. No more than half an hour they combine them. How long does two Rakow Fajr? Take? How
long this phone raka of water take? How long combined the five daily prayers don't more than half an
hour?

00:20:28 --> 00:20:41
			How much time do we spend on thicker on the sphere? Every day? Think about it. How much time do we
spend on resuscitation of the Quran every day? Think about it. When was the last time we decided to
memorize a surah of the Quran. Think about

00:20:42 --> 00:20:46
			when was the last time you sat down and it is still far 100 times think about it.

00:20:48 --> 00:20:52
			But we are so connected to the trash and we forget about the treasure.

00:20:53 --> 00:20:54
			That's the reality of today.

00:20:57 --> 00:21:10
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he mentioned the Hadith that has been narrated about buyable
Pharaoh Rhodiola Juan and this is Hadith could see the retelling Sahih Muslim. He said that Allah
subhanahu wa taala says

00:21:12 --> 00:21:16
			that's when my servant does a good deed.

00:21:17 --> 00:21:28
			I will multiply that good deed 10 times minimum and even more if I wish. That is alone. And he
continues and says that when my servant does a sin,

00:21:30 --> 00:21:34
			I will count it as one sin, who I may forgive him. That is all.

00:21:36 --> 00:21:58
			And he said that when my servant comes to me a handstand, I go to him at arm's length. That is
Allah. And he says that when my servant comes to me in arm's length, I go to him a fathoms length
that is Allah. And he says that when my servant comes to me walking, I go to him running, that is
Allah.

00:21:59 --> 00:22:12
			That is Allah. And he said, that if my servant comes to me with a mountain of sins, but He has not
committed should, I will forgive him. That is Allah. The one we are so disconnected from

00:22:14 --> 00:22:19
			the one who loves us so much. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said,

00:22:20 --> 00:22:24
			there has been a hadith where the prophet and Allah they were walking

00:22:25 --> 00:22:35
			and they will group of people. After a certain battle. There were a group of people that were
scattered amongst the tents, and there was a lady who lost her child.

00:22:36 --> 00:22:56
			And she was running around frantically because she lost a child. And then all of a sudden she found
her child. She picked up the child she embraced the child and she fed the child. Upon seeing this
the prophesy sirloin, Osama Rhodiola one do you think that woman could ever throw her child into a
fire?

00:22:57 --> 00:23:23
			I want to be alone in replay. No yado sort of love mother can never throw her child into a file. The
prophets of Allah Allahu Allah Islam replied, Allah subhanho wa Taala loves us more than that mother
to her child. That is Allah whom we are so disconnected from. Who loves us, He calls us yet we are
not taking that call and we are not being connected with ALLAH SubhanA wa.

00:23:25 --> 00:23:35
			Say Inshallah, there are certain tips that I want to give myself and all of you that we can take to
become connected with Allah. Number one, starting with your Salah,

00:23:36 --> 00:23:37
			starting with your Salah.

00:23:39 --> 00:23:41
			We just pray a lot of Asia.

00:23:42 --> 00:24:10
			If you were to give yourself a mark out of 100 in terms of your shoe and devotion, think about it
yourself. What mark would you give yourself? If you were to give yourself a mark out of 100%? What
would you give yourself? I'd be surprised we rated ourselves more than 50% I'd be very surprised
because in Salah we tend to think of many other things, how much money I'm going to make tomorrow.
What am I going to do tomorrow at home? What am I going to do when I go to go there? Where am I
going to watch tonight before I go to sleep?

00:24:11 --> 00:24:22
			These are the things that comes into our mind while we are in salon. The first tip that I want to
mention is have you sure in your pray?

00:24:23 --> 00:24:30
			Allah subhanho wa Taala he says other Flavelle book me known I Lavina Humphrey Salah to enforce your
own

00:24:32 --> 00:24:52
			that verily, indeed without a doubt, the believers are successful. And you list down the believers
who are they the first one or levena Whom fie Salatin has shown they are those that when they
perform their salah, they perform it with who sure with devotion with concentration. Now think about
your prayer.

00:24:53 --> 00:24:56
			How mechanical and robotic our Salah has become

00:24:58 --> 00:24:59
			you know automatically without thinking you

00:25:00 --> 00:25:14
			Raise your hands your Pringle hamdulillah but after Vengurla Boulby Allah He bought a ball lean Me
without thinking in alpha in Alcocer for Salah Europa when it's happening every first raka the
second rokkaku Allahu Allah Allah summit beautiful suitors. Yeah,

00:25:15 --> 00:25:25
			but the the point that I'm making is our Salah has become so mechanical, several body that without
thinking automatically just to finish our Salah quickly those sorts coming to our mind.

00:25:27 --> 00:25:57
			Think about it. If you have wushu and devotion, you will change your source. Now I'm going to think
about it and how fortunate you are Subhanallah to have Chef aboral Veda with you today he recited a
different Quran salah. Right? It makes you concentrate it makes you really have to show and
devotion. I remember side story I remember in one of the massages, a chef, he came in, you know, not
local, but he came in and they decided to they told him to lead the prayer.

00:25:58 --> 00:26:19
			And he decided to recite in Quran Hamza and no one knew that could ah Hamza in that locality. So
he's reciting Maliki only Deen. The people are thinking already I'm one of them. I was thinking
okay, maybe he made a mistake. And then he said he didn't have zero calm steady, zero to Lavina and
Antara Avon lady doesn't have to be alive.

00:26:21 --> 00:27:02
			Now, we all shocked and stunned. I actually noticed people just looking at each other what's going
on? After salah they got up and they asked him, Are you right or wrong? What's wrong with you?
Subhanallah he had to actually get up and tell them Sorry, I was reciting intra hunger. I didn't
know you didn't know that. But the point that I'm trying to make is make certain or change your
suitors around. If you know different cloth or use them. You know, that is how you can develop who
should in your prayer. Concentrate in your pray. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said
that our Salah Mr. Hua Jana, the salah is the key to paradise. If your soil is not good, the rest of

00:27:02 --> 00:27:15
			it is not going to be good. That's what the Prophet said. And if your Salah is good, the rest of you
need to be good. So we need to fix that. If we can fix that. Remember that is your connection with
Allah.

00:27:16 --> 00:27:37
			Spend a bit of time in your schedule. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said the closest
the servant is to Allah is in frustration. Spend a bit of time there. Make dua to Allah especially
during your Sunnah prayers. You know because in fourth place you're praying behind the Imam most of
the time, but in your Sunnah prayers, at least make a bit of

00:27:38 --> 00:27:39
			changes

00:27:40 --> 00:27:50
			in your schedule that builds up to show in your brain. And insha Allah Huhtala that connection will
make everything else better. Number two, do.

00:27:53 --> 00:28:19
			When was the last time you raise your hands up to Allah subhana wa Tada and you cried in front of
Allah. When was the last time you begged for Allah subhanaw taala when was the last time you spoke
directly to Allah subhanho wa Taala and I'm not talking about salah I'm talking about other than
Salah when you're home alone in your room. And that's when you raise your hands and you ask Allah,
what did we do that last?

00:28:21 --> 00:28:31
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam has encouraged us to make dua to Allah. Allah said we're
either Seneca Eva Dr. Nisa in the Quran.

00:28:33 --> 00:29:12
			He said that when My servants asked about me, tell him Oh Mohammed, that I'm close. I am ni, og
Buddha with a diary that I will accept his dua when he asks from me, that is Allah subhanaw taala.
We are so disconnected from when was the last time you made this dua to Allah. Almighty Allah who
wants to think of him at the moment, big Macho Man Subhanallah that he was? Yes, he was so soft.
When it came to communicating with Allah his beard would become wet with the tears when he would
communicate and make dua to Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:29:13 --> 00:29:34
			where are we the problems of our life? We look for solutions in everybody else, but we forget to ask
Allah for the solutions of our problems. That that is how much disconnected we are. We go online on
Facebook and we type our problem so that someone can help us there but we don't ask Allah because we
connected on our devices.

00:29:35 --> 00:29:37
			Just be number three.

00:29:39 --> 00:29:50
			Go back to the story of that Baker. Spending his free time during the spear the remembrance of Allah
subhanho wa Taala we forget we think the spear What's that gonna do? What's that gonna do?

00:29:51 --> 00:29:59
			But in the sight of Allah. You are the cow you just be weighs heavier than a mountain or baddies.

00:30:01 --> 00:30:07
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said moisten your tongue with the remembrance of Allah.

00:30:09 --> 00:30:41
			Kelly mutton huffy, Fatone analysen. Sufi return Phil Meezan Habiba Tamela Rahman Subhan Allah he
will be handy he Subhanallah has two phrases that is so light on the tongue, but heavy on the scale
and loved by Allah two phrases Subhan Allah he will be Hungee Subhan Allah and Allah, how long does
that take us? When we are driving to work or back from work, rather than listening to whatever you
are listening to do some test.

00:30:43 --> 00:30:51
			If you can listen to the Quran, beautiful, but most of your time with the remembrance of Allah
continue to do the spear.

00:30:53 --> 00:31:23
			One example to show you the reward of the spear. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said in a
hadith, that on the Day of Judgment, a man will be brought to be judged. He gives an example of a
man. He said that man will be brought in front of Allah to be judged. And Allah will ask the angels
who are writing his bad deeds to bring his bad deeds in front of him. The man will see a mountain
upon mountains of bad deeds. And Allah will question him about each one.

00:31:24 --> 00:31:28
			And the man will be trembling inside thinking that's it for me.

00:31:29 --> 00:31:36
			And that deeds, the bad deeds will be placed on one side of the scale which will tilt

00:31:37 --> 00:31:50
			and then Allah subhanho wa Taala will ask the angel to bring down his good deeds. The man will see a
small paper or a scroll that says La ilaha illAllah Muhammad Rasul Allah, that's it.

00:31:51 --> 00:31:54
			And he's gonna think, what is that gonna do?

00:31:55 --> 00:32:21
			What is that going to do in front of a mountain of bad deeds. As soon as that is placed on the other
side of the scale, it will weigh heavier than mountains of bad deeds, and you will be forgiven by
Allah and you will enter into paradise. Going back to the Hadith earlier, where the prophet said
that Allah says in Hadith could see if a slave of Allah comes with a mountain of bad deeds but he
did not commit shirk.

00:32:22 --> 00:32:38
			Allah will forgive you. But let's all take advantage of that. Lets a lot of us think yep, we will do
the sins throughout our life. And just before I die, I will say that you know, hey, Lulu, that's my
connection with Allah. I will say Allah, Allah, Allah and I'll die. But think about it for a moment.

00:32:39 --> 00:32:40
			When you're walking in the street,

00:32:41 --> 00:32:45
			and all of a sudden you hit your foot on something, or something falls on your leg.

00:32:46 --> 00:32:48
			What's the first word that comes out of your mouth?

00:32:49 --> 00:32:50
			Oh,

00:32:51 --> 00:32:51
			sugar.

00:32:52 --> 00:33:04
			Well, maybe a swear word. Those are the first words that come out of our mouth. Not Subhanallah no
Alhamdulillah not a stone federal law. No. So in the pains and agony of death do you think you'll
remember to say La ilaha illallah

00:33:05 --> 00:33:07
			do you think you're gonna say that

00:33:08 --> 00:33:23
			there was a story about a man who was dying his deathbed. And a che came in a group of people came
to see him. And when they went into the house, the man was playing the music of Uncle fall. And they
said

00:33:24 --> 00:33:29
			to the family, what is the matter with you your father's dying? And you've got the music on put some
put on at least

00:33:31 --> 00:33:40
			they felt really embarrassed so they put the Quran upon this die, man, he said really angrily he
said put back on CUSUM because she Sue's my heart

00:33:42 --> 00:34:00
			that's what's gonna happen. If you don't live La Ilaha illa Allah you're not gonna die upon La la la
la. If you live La ilaha illa and stay connected with Allah, you're going to die with La Ilaha illa
Allah. So we need to change now and be connected now with Allah subhanho wa Taala that's the spear.

00:34:01 --> 00:34:02
			Number four is still

00:34:04 --> 00:34:10
			continuous, it's still fun to show that connection to show Allah that we

00:34:11 --> 00:34:16
			are ashamed of the sins that we've committed. Count the sins on a daily basis. We can't count them.

00:34:17 --> 00:34:45
			Oh my god Allah when he said Has he gone full circle in Kabbalah and to have several accounts
yourself before you are held accountable do is still fun on a daily basis. The Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam he said in Nila esto fue la fille Yom Miata Amara, he said I'll make it still fall
to Allah subhanahu wa taala 100 times a day. Was he sinful? Did he commit any sins?

00:34:46 --> 00:34:59
			But imagine the sins that we commit every single day. We should probably ask Allah more than 100
times over so far. But when was the last time really that we made it so far? One Day More than 100
times

00:35:00 --> 00:35:01
			Think about it, when was the last time we did that?

00:35:03 --> 00:35:09
			That's number four continue to do is still far. Number five, the RE citation of the Quran.

00:35:11 --> 00:35:57
			We need to continuously on a daily basis, spend a bit of time, just a bit of time. Have a plan, that
you know what every day I'm going to recite this potion from the Quran. Even if it is half a page,
even if it is a page, if you're fluent, even if it is half a juice or even a juice, but I will do it
on a daily basis. Don't be a person who says you know what, I'm going to recite a juice a day, and
you only lasts for three days. It's too much. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said, Allah
loves the deed that is small, but it's continuous. Even if it is half a page, read it. And don't
just read the Quran. Understand the Quran, read the meaning of the Quran, implement that, what you

00:35:57 --> 00:36:18
			have read in your life to her daily basis, while he that is loved by Allah, those are the words of
Allah. If you want to stay connected to Allah, then read His words, recite His words, implement his
words, and that will show real connection to Allah subhanho wa taala. The last point which is
probably one of the hardest

00:36:20 --> 00:36:21
			performing tahajjud

00:36:22 --> 00:36:28
			performing the 100 prayer, this is one of the hardest out of all the six

00:36:29 --> 00:36:54
			but the connection of tahajjud with Allah isn't like anything else. Think about it. When you're
performing Salah in front of people, the person next to you can see sometimes certain pride comes in
our hearts. We want to impress someone next to us. Sometimes that happens. May Allah never let that
happen. But sometimes those things come because we're in front of people. We give sadaqa people are
watching we give

00:36:56 --> 00:37:13
			you know we do ask God sometimes after Salah people are watching tahajjud it is you and Allah, no
one else is there. People are asleep but that's fine. That shows real connection with Allah, true
connection with Allah.

00:37:14 --> 00:37:24
			That is very tough to do. But as we know so many a hadith about tahajjud. I'll give you one though.
And this is a story that has been narrated to us

00:37:25 --> 00:37:28
			that Abdullah ibn Umar Radi Allahu Allah, and he saw a dream.

00:37:30 --> 00:37:47
			And in the dream, he's in paradise. He said that I'm holding a silk cloth of silk. And it's going
everywhere with me. It's flying with me in paradise. And then he says that I see two angels who are
trying to grab me and take me to hellfire.

00:37:48 --> 00:37:54
			But then another angel camp comes and tells me don't worry, you're safe, and tell the other angels
to go away.

00:37:56 --> 00:38:07
			He said I woke up and he was quite afraid of the dream. So he mentioned the dream to have some of
the Allahu anha who then narrated to the prophets of Allah wa sallam, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wa sallam he said

00:38:09 --> 00:38:16
			how great is Abdullah bin Allah, but he will be even greater. If he performed the tahajjud press

00:38:18 --> 00:38:24
			I believe and I'm gonna set from that day. I never left my tahajjud Pres. That inspired him.

00:38:26 --> 00:38:29
			But if we're busy at night before we go to sleep with our devices on

00:38:31 --> 00:38:37
			and we sleep late, so connected to our devices, disconnected Allah for Virgin we can't even get a
professional

00:38:38 --> 00:38:40
			then to how God is not even in the equation.

00:38:42 --> 00:39:24
			But if we sleep early as per the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, soon as you
pray, you go home, you go to bed quickly, early, you can get up early for tahajjud prayers, and
that's going to help you motivate you will lie a person who prays tahajud praise thy days beautiful.
They will enjoy their day Allah will put so much Baraka in their day, they will be connected to
Allah subhana wa Tada. All of those six that I have mentioned can be done at tahajud time if you
want to, but throughout your day, spit it out if you like when it comes to Salah make sure you pray
with for sure. When it comes to dua make sure on a daily basis you are connected with Allah and you

00:39:24 --> 00:39:40
			asking Allah number three, make sure that you are doing the spear on a daily basis. Make sure you
are doing is still fun on a daily basis. Make sure you are reciting the Quran on a daily basis and
try

00:39:41 --> 00:39:59
			to train yourself to get a four to hodgen. Even if it is once a month. You're trying something if
you could do it once a month, then change it after a few months. I'm gonna go once a week. If you
can train yourself once a week, but you know what, I'm going to do it twice a week. Then I'm going
to try to do it every day.

00:40:00 --> 00:40:41
			And subhanAllah time will come. We're waking up for tahajjud will become a normal part of your life.
And that is something we need to train ourselves. So let's be connected with Allah subhanho wa
taala. And don't be, don't be connected with the trash that is out there. We ask Allah subhanahu wa
taala to bless each and every one of us. We ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to keep us connected with
Allah, Allah He my brothers and sisters, once we are connected with Allah, our life is going to
change, you will see a different person in you. People will see you as a role model not not that
you're doing it for people you're doing for Allah. But that change will bring about a new you a

00:40:41 --> 00:40:54
			beautiful servant of Allah that people will want to aspire to become like you. And that is a form of
Dawa for the non Muslims out there, that you are so connected with Allah you don't worry about the
trash that is out there.

00:40:55 --> 00:41:07
			And I would like to end it off with a statement or saying from the famous person that we know Habib,
you Omega middle, he said something amazing, which is very inspiring. He said

00:41:09 --> 00:41:19
			that non Muslims don't read the Quran. non Muslims don't read the Hadith, but they read you. So be
the best ambassador to Islam.

00:41:21 --> 00:41:59
			If we connected to Allah, they will see Islam in you and that will inspire them that will encourage
them to become like you the trend that people are setting out there which is trash. Let's let's set
the trend of being great Muslims and be connected with Allah subhanaw taala ask Allah subhanaw taala
to forgive all of us. So Allah subhanaw taala to help us be connected with Allah and asked Allah
subhanho wa Taala to gather all like we are gathered here in general for those who just like below
say hello behind this panic a lot more behind the shadow Allah ilaha illa and a stall Furukawa to be
like Salam Alaikum Warahmatullahi wabarakatuh
