Hello cadets and military. Yes, puzzle, Poli, another, my dear brothers, sisters salam Wa alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh.
Firstly, we begin by praising Allah subhanho wa Taala we praise Him, we seek His help, and we ask to his giveness and we send our salutations upon the Beloved Prophet Mohammed,
Abdullah, Allah Allahu Allah, he was salam to His family and to him to his friends, we should also praise and thank Allah subhanho wa Tada for allowing us to listen to the knowledge that has been passed down to us by our beloved prophet muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, even though we are doing it online, and we should pray
is Allah and thank Allah that He has given up to this technology that we can still learn the deen of Allah subhanho wa taala. Unfortunately, we cannot be in the massages today.
But Alhamdulillah Allah has given us this technology that we can still learn that we can still apply all of this knowledge that we are learning in our lives. And I asked
love from China who was Allah to bless each and every one of us. And I ask Allah subhana
wa Taala together, like we are gathered, everywhere we are either be sitting at home, either it'd be in your offices, wherever you're listening to wherever you're gathered. But I ask Allah subhanho wa taala, to gather all of us together in just natural results. And in
today's lecture is fine.
I before file, and I'm sure when you heard of the topic, you knew the Hadith that is in line with the topic. But before I get to the actual Hadith of the Prophet salallahu Alaihe Salam, I want you to start off this lecture with a story. It's a very personal story. And every single time when I think of this story, subhanAllah it gives me goosebumps. And this happened many years ago, I would say about 678 years ago.
However, there was a man from amongst our relatives.
He was in a nursing home. And we were told that he is suffering from a certain type of cancer.
And subhanAllah my father, my grandfather, they wanted to go and visit this elderly man, because they they knew him. And they asked me to come along with them. So I went along with them.
And subhanAllah when we reached the nursing home, and I went inside, and I saw a lot of elderly people that you know, it gives you this feeling when you see elderly sick people so cannula
when we entered his room, and we saw this elderly man laying down on the bed of Hala.
All I could see from his body was just bone panela the cancer that he had was eating away all of his muscles, all of his flesh. And the doctors told him that he only had
maybe a few weeks or a couple of months left. So as he was telling us his condition, and as he was explaining, you know, my face changed. And it was sort of a space of feeling sorry for him.
So he looked at me and Subhanallah he noticed that I felt sorry for him. And he said to me, son, it seems like you you feel sorry for me.
And I looked at him and I said, you know Yes. It's really sad to see you in this way. And I feel really bad.
For panela this is what he said to me afterwards.
He said by Allah. I am very fortunate. I am very lucky. I'm very fortunate. And I was stunned when you said that. You said I'm very fortunate like the panel, the man is about to pass away and he's saying I'm very fortunate. He said yes, you know, the doctors have told me I've got a few weeks or a couple of months to live.
And it is up to all
whilst the panel was Taala when he takes myself but he says at least I have been given the time to repent to Allah to kind of what Allah to pray as much as I can to Allah
Have you ever want
to give as much as I can, for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala to get closer to Allah subhanho wa taala, before I pass away, you should feel sorry for yourself and be scared about yourself. And he said to me, because you may not be this fortunate that I am, you may not be as lucky as I am. Because you may die in an instance, and you will not get the time to repent, you will not get the time to perform more salah, you will might not get the time to give more sadaqa and do good for the community with Hala. And as I'm telling you this, I'm actually getting goosebumps because I could remember the story. And
it was amazing the way he looked at it. He looked at it in a positive way. You know, some of us if we were given that use that we're about to go, you know, we're going to get scared we're going to be you know, some of us will be crying, some of us will be so afraid, oh my God, what's happening? I'm leaving, what did I do to deserve this to panel up, but I do
that in a positive way. Allah is giving me this chance to get closer to him. And I am taking advantage of this moment. panel. And this takes me now to the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam that is titled five before five. This had been reported by Abdullah bin
that of your loved one with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said Bill attorney Mohammed bin Avila comes in that's called Bella how Rami was the happy
paavola comic worthy in Africa VANESSA CURRY, well, thorough workup of Allah sugar was hired, I guess probably the most beautiful, beautiful Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. He said, Take advantage or take care of five things before another five things happen. What is that? What are they a Chabad Becca favela? How long they take care of your youth before you become a
What's the hot sector of Alaska Public take care of your health before you become sick? Was the NACA Kabila fuckery take care of your wealth before you become poor welfare or whatever. Kabila surely take care
of your free time before you become busy. What higher is that Kovalam Oh, I take care of your life before you pass away. So panela you know, during this lockdown, a lot of the things that we used to do has stopped. And right now as you know, due to the COVID numbers, and the lockdown that we are in our life has changed dramatically. And some of the things that we used to do before, we only start thinking about it now, because we can't do them anymore. Just like visiting our relatives
going to the message to propose from our solar panels to the message to pray or do our prayers. Our is the angel offer that we had to pray at home and we couldn't celebrate with our family and friends. So Pamela, you know, these are the things we start thinking about once we have lost it.
So we need to take care of everything that we have now, before we lose it. And that is what the Hadith of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is referring to. So Inshallah, in this talk, we are going to look at each one of those five. The first one, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam decided to take care of what Shabbat Becca favela, how to take care of your youth before you become old age. Now, what does it mean youth? Because some of us are listening today, we are in the age of the youth. And some of us, we are actually in the age of the the Sheoak there are older people
Subhanallah what does it mean?
Use the older man some of them have different opinions about what that means. But majority of the older they are saying roughly between 33 to 40. Some scholars say from puberty to 30 some of them say from puberty to 33 some of them say from puberty to 40 Whatever the case is, within that age group you are considered Shut up. You are considered young you are considered youth. And then when you hit the age of 40 and above, then of course you have become older from the shadow. Now, if you are in that time, and Subhanallah I'm taking the age of 40 Because I'm 33
So
if you are within that timeframe, and you are hearing this for the first time, then please think about this moment. What am I doing right now? While I am still a Shabaab while I'm still young, while I'm still in the age of the youth, what am I doing to please Allah subhanahu? What's the island? Now? Why and what is the wisdom behind the Prophet highlighting the center? What is the reason Chavez that the Prophet highlighted so that they can take care of these times? Now, they survived the youth, they are very energetic, very energetic compared to the older generation, they can do more in terms of action, while they are young. Their brain is working faster when they are
young. Subhanallah you know, I remember when I was tongue in Quran, I was in Year 11 Year 12. And, and I was trying to memorize Quran actually was the nine and 10 I believe.
And I thought, you know, what, I can memorize the Quran within Inshallah, three or four years, I'm going to push myself. And then I was, when I started, I had other kids around me, who were in year two, year three, year four, and they were memorizing Quran. And I thought for a moment,
you know, just a young kid, you know, I'll be able to memorize faster than 200 Allah, but it still happened, that those youngsters, the ones who will need two, year three, year four, they were able to memorize Quran way before they were able to memorize the entire Quran Subhanallah in two years, one of them I remember and this was part time, for hours after school, there was this one boy who was able to memorize the Quran within two years of cannula. And in two years, I was stuck on juice pen from the beginning to use pen SubhanAllah. So it just shows how much the youngsters are able to do. Their mind is fresh, they're able to think quicker, memorize faster, and they can do much more
in terms of action for the sake of Allah subhanho wa taala. In another Hadith, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa salam again highlights the youth. He said that there are seven categories of people that will be under the shade of Allah on the Day of Judgment, when there will be no shade except for
it and one of the category of people is what shall burn natural behavior that is a very young the youth who are growing up worshipping Allah subhanho wa taala. Again, why is the
prophet highlighting the shadow that they use the youngsters worshipping Allah subhanho wa Taala This is because the youth can easily be distracted, they use can easily switch their mind because of the distractions and the influences out there. And that is the danger right now especially that we are in lockdown. What are the youngsters doing today? They are online, they are watching things and they are being influenced by many influences online. And unfortunately many of these influences
are changing the mind of the youth away from the deen of Allah subhanho wa Taala towards Cooper
towards haram towards prohibition. And we need to make sure that our youngsters, our youth and if you are one of them, that you focused on the real goal and that is to please Allah subhanho wa Taala to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala to be in the path towards paradise, that is the goal. So these youngsters can be easily influenced away from the deen of Allah but the youngsters can also be influenced
to both the deen of Allah subhanho wa Taala and this is the reason why Allah subhanho wa Taala highlights the youth.
He even gives us examples in the Quran of the youth who are worshipping Allah, for example, when you open up Surah to his guests, and you have the story of the companions of the cave.
What is the wisdom behind Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioning the story of these youngsters, because they were young, and they were in the vicinity amongst people who were committing shifts, they were committing Cofer, they were committing haram and these youngsters knew who the Lord was. They knew Allah subhanho wa Taala is my job.
And they will not associate partners with Allah like their people are doing and because of that they disassociated themselves from the community and they save themselves by
Staying in the cave Subhan Allah and the story is mentioned in Surah Toluca. This is the reason why all the wisdom behind Allah subhanho wa Taala mentioning the youth, because the youth will shape this future of the Muslim, the youth will be the leader of the Muslim, that if you are growing up in the worship of Allah subhanho wa taala, then you will be a true Muslim leader in the future, you can make the difference, and people will follow you. You set the trend in the society. That is the hikma the wisdom behind Allah subhanho wa Taala behind the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam highlighting they use the Subhanallah if you are in that age group, take advantage of the time. I am a youth What can I do for the sake of Allah? The actions that I can take for the sake of Allah Subhana? Who was
the youth know more about online, on Zoom? You know, on social media, what can you do to use those platforms for the sake of Allah subhanahu wa Bucha that is to handle for a moment and utilize this mind that Allah subhanho wa Taala has given you for the sake of Allah, the elders in the community who are listening to this, it doesn't mean that that my time is up, you know, I'm a youth anymore. What you can do is invest in the youth. What can you do to help the youth grow up worshipping Allah subhanho wa taala? What role can you play? What can you establish, for the youth to become towards and to learn the deen of Allah to apply the deen of Allah to give Dawa in the community? What can
you do so you will also be
a part of that insha Allah Bhutan, number two, the second category or the second thing the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam told us to take care of was the high tech as popular Takami take care of your health before you become sick, take care of your health before you become sick. And so Pamela, what better time is that is to speak about sickness than today. Then now currently in the situation that we are in the lino COVID is trading around. Now, some people, you know, have different understandings of what it is, but we know people are getting.
And I also know unfortunately, subhanAllah people within my own community, my own family friend, or my own friend, who's, you know, mothers or mother in law's or auntie Topanga just today. I checked from Sydney, he is on he passed away from COVID SubhanAllah. And we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to grant the * results, and Subhanallah so many people in
the community that they know others who are passing away or who have the sickness, we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to remove the sickness away. But it's not just COVID it's every other sickness that is out there. So a healthy person,
he needs to take care of his health before he becomes sick. Why? What's the wisdom, because a healthy person has more energy is more active, can do more, for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala a sick person may not be able to move around as much a sick person, most likely will be staying in bed and cannot move for cannula that takes care of the health that you have. Before sickness overtakes you. And then you start regretting that I could have done so much more when I was healthy. Subhanallah if you look around the current situation.
And as I mentioned, there's a lot of people who are sick, what can we do to take care of the health that we have? And the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam has given us many, many remedies that we can take. Yes, of course we know the vaccine is there and we can take a do other things and put them off on a few other things to take care of ourselves. And that's fine. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam has also taught us the things that we can take to keep healthy people and I'm going to mention a few things in Salah. The first thing is date. The date, date is not supposed to only be taken in Ramadan to cannula
a lot of people just go to the shopping centers and buy dates just for Ramadan. Dates should be something that is in your home all the time. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said a family which has Desi in his home will never be hungry. And this isn't a booklet and another Hadith the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said Indeed in date there is
Cure and Allah. So a person
who takes days is actually curing by the will of Allah subhanaw taala I believe in the permission of Allah Himself is curing himself from certain sicknesses or diseases he may have. What a beautiful thing to have, date should be in your system on a daily basis, they should be in your home and you should consume it on a daily basis. Another one is honey, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said, healing is increasing coffee, a gulp of honey and cauterization but he said I did like polarization. So that the key point there is honey, a gulp of honey to take honey Subhanallah every single day, Muslims should take a spoonful of honey and eat his followers insha Allah for the
purpose and the intention of healing themselves.
Because it is a sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, another one that we will be taking on a daily basis of black feeds of black humans.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said There is healing in black tea for all diseases, except for that 200 Lux and this is a slightly more hearty,
every
Muslim household should have flaxseed and every Muslim should take black see
it on a daily basis to cannula. Something that I do on a daily basis and I want to share with all of you is I take a tablespoon of honey and I sprinkle black beads on it. And I II panela you know for the purpose of you know, keeping myself healthy, to cure myself from from sicknesses. And I am suffering from a certain disease of hunger which I which I was born with, and I'm tremendously loved by the Grace of Allah subhanho wa Taala I believe that the honey, the black seeds, the Zamzam water the days they are helping me and keeping me healthy by the leaves and the permission of Allah subhanahu wa sallam. This so many other things that we could be taking, such as the Zamzam water,
and a few other things to panela the use these things wisely, for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala to keep yourself healthy, because what happens when you become sick, when you become bedridden, then you will not be able to do a lot in terms of action for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala therefore take care of your health before you become sick. Number three, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said, to take care of Renata Avila, Zachary take care of your wealth before you become poor.
And we know poverty can happen to anybody. This is one
of the tests of Allah subhanho wa taala. And he says in the Quran, while I never know what can be seen in means of oh, he was drawn one extreme mineral and was while and was he was turned over shade is probably a loss of Hannah, who was Allah he says, and we will take them out of fee. Right in a quote, while Joe and hunger people will be tested through hunger, a poor person is going through a hunger every time. And not just that. One thing mean I'm was bankruptcy, your wealth being taken away from you, your home being taken away from you. Well, next thing
and while while Lance was was the Model S and loss of life, and loss of livestock, vegetations and crops
isn't a true that I'm sure all of you listening today, I'm sure you know, people who are currently suffering in terms of their wealth, because of the COVID situation. Now, just today, oh, actually, yesterday, I met her brother. And he was telling
me that, you know, he was making a lot of money when he was working. And now he's not allowed to go to work. And he's not he hasn't been going to work for a, you know, a month or two. And he said, Yes, I get the government support of the $750 a week. But he said I was getting much more than that. Subhanallah and he said I had to change
that the way we live, you know, just so that we can live by what the government is given us right now. I mean, he probably never have thought that he would be in that situation. And that's the the cell Yeah, I mean, we get support from the government if we're not making money, whatever those in the other countries. You know, I know people in Fiji who are currently suffering because the government kind of
cold that must be good, everybody. Subhanallah they are also in a lockdown. Lot of people can't go to war.
A lot of people are, you know, a beggar in the street and Subhanallah even that is increasing in certain places. So take care of the wealth that Allah subhanho wa Taala has given you, how can you take care of this wealth? What can you do with this? Well, the first thing that you think of when it comes to wealth is sort of
Allah has given you the gift of money, Allah has given you the gift of
well, then you need to spend it and show the gratitude to Allah subhana who was Allah by using that gift and spending it in the way of Allah subhanho wa Taala that is one way to show your thankfulness, your gratitude towards Allah subhanho
wa taala. And in one Hadith, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he mentioned that the son of Adam on the Day of Judgment will not move until five questions are asked. And one of them is or two of them are, your wealth.
And how you earned it and how you spent it. Allah will question us about a little did you earn your wealth
from Halloween? Or are you taking advantage of the government? Are you lying to the government? And you're, you know, you're you're you're playing around with your tax. And you claim the things which you shouldn't claim? That is your income? Hello, that's the first thing and second thing, how are you spending your wealth? Are you spending your wealth in a halal way? Are you spending on your family? Are you spending it on charity? Are you looking after the people around you with your wealth? Are you giving gifts to your family to your relatives with that wealth? Allah subhanho wa Taala is going to ask us about
the money that we have to find Allah. Allah subhanahu wa taala he also says in the Quran about sadaqa he says what method we live in you feel cool and I'm well on PISA de la cabeza Ali have um, but a sub Eisah now this is equally to boletim to have that one law who you will die equally Manchester Walla who was the ordinary
Allah subhanho wa taala, he says, And the example of the person who did not have to give what we have given them from the risk that Allah has given you, what is the example of someone who gives them sadaqa is like a hub right like a seed is like a grain and form that seed comes out seven branches or seven sites, and then each of those brands that is 100 seeds.
So if you calculate it, that is 700 times that as an as the reward a person get was giving something for the sake of
love, and that is only the minimum why and how do we know that because Allah says as to what to Allah Who you buy for the nature and Allah will multiply the rewards more, or whomsoever He wishes to Allah Who is your ally, Allah subhanho wa Taala is all encompassing well aware, they can do he can give more to you. He knows your intentions when you are giving for the sake of Allah subhana wa Tada. Don't be the person who regrets at the time of death by not giving further costs by not giving in charity, as Allah subhanho wa Taala says, when people will meet
the canal common poverty and yet the outcome will note for your call Robbie Lola of course and Isla del in Paris, Dakar welcome inequality.
Allah subhanahu wa taala. And he says, and then from what we have given you, then from the risk that I have given you, because it gives us an example, that don't be that person. Now when this is approaching you, you say to Allah subhana
wa Taala probably Lola Horton, ILA, again encourage, oh, Allah sent me back for just a small amount of time, why not double what a community college is, so that I may give further costs and be from amongst the righteous people. Allah subhanho wa Taala at the end of that surah he says that I think your time's up, you will not be set back. This is your moment to give for the sake of Allah subhanho wa taala. Right now those people who are suffering with the look of wealth difficulties, you know, they thinking about this moment that I couldn't be giving more for the sake of Allah subhanho wa taala.
The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam he said, save yourself from the fire even if it is half a dent in sadaqa. Even if it is half a day, there is not always the quantity that that is it's the quality of your giving. It's the quality of your intention. It's the quality of your heart. And Willa and the quality really matter
Then I'll give you an example of the quality. There was a friend of mine
Subhanallah, a friend of mine, he was studying, there was a student in Malaysia. And he only had a small amount of money in his bank account. He had about 100 ringgit, which is approximately $35. That's all he had left in his account. And then he was his father was giving him money as he was studying. But you know, his father didn't get for a long time because they were from a poor country.
And another brother, he came up to this friend of mine, and he said, Brother, you know, is there anything you can give me? I haven't. I haven't been living. Well, you know, I haven't been eating rice and I don't have a lot of money. Is there any support that you can give me? This friend of mine, he said,
Sal, I'll give you something. He took his brother to the ATM. And he took
he looked at how much he has. And he took out half of what he had half, it took us a period, which is about 1516 $17. He took that out. And he says, This is yours. The brother says, you know, that's, you know, probably only have that much noise, okay, he does not do a lot of cataloging
Subhan Allah within a few weeks, he received a phone call.
And the phone call was of a job offer. Because he knew Arabic to Quran, there was a local International School, who offered him a job by someone mentioning him to the school, kind of love that he could work. And he could study at the same time. He accepted the offer, he started working, and he started making money. So kinda, it didn't end there. A sister from the university, she was interested in married his brother. And then she got her father involved. Her father came, and you know, a meeting happened. And the proposal happened from her father to him. And he was thinking he was scared, you know, the Muhammad Muhammad is gonna take and she asked
her mother was that I don't want any wealth, any money from you, I know that you're a household of Quran, all I want is for you to teach the Quran. That's Amara, Han Allah, he accepted the marriage, he married this woman, and then within a few months,
then also they didn't end it, he was able to gain enough wealth
to buy a car. And it didn't end there. He was able to get
money to rent an apartment outside of the university for him and his wife. This happened within a few months of him giving that 30 or that 1516 $17 In total cost. But he gave it wholeheartedly. It is your heart that counts. And this is something that we need to take advantage of while you're in lockdown. Now, has he ever thought of giving sadaqa? Has he been giving any sort of I mean, we're not going to the message anymore. No one is there shouting out or, or calling out we are, you know, we are collecting money for this organization for that organization. We need this for the next stage. Now no one is doing that we can't see it in front of us. But how many of us has taken
initiative to find those organizations online. And give them sort of think about that, if we haven't given it take advantage of the time, this wealth
you have and give for the sake of Allah subhanho wa Taala to take care of your wealth before you become poor.
Number four, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said take advantage of per worker who will take care of your free time before you become busy.
Now we are in a lockdown.
Now, yes, we are suffering. Many of us are suffering. You know, we can't go out. We can't visit people. We can't go to work. You know, certain people can't go to work. Our children can't go to school. The teachers have to teach from home. And one of them I have to teach from home with three kids trying to study from home as well. My wife is also teaching from home. So how do I tie it's tough. But isn't it true that you get more free time? I mean, you're not traveling to work anymore. You get more breaks in between your your work that you're doing from home, you probably get more free time now being in lockdown.
So this is now a plan to take care of this free time that you have before you become busy again. And is it a true that the older you get the busier you become? I mean, you get married, you have children, you know your job changes, you get more work, you have to take care, you're you're paying off a house, you're paying rent, you're become more busy to take care of the free time that you get before you get to that stage where you don't get much free time anymore. Subhanallah what can we do during this time? I mean, I've asked
many of my students and I've asked other people as well. Youngsters use that
Actually, I speak to the youth a lot. And I asked them, What are you doing currently, in this free time that you get? The biggest answer? Or the number one answer is gaining, gaining? You know, I'm studying and I'm playing games and voting people online.
Another answer I get is Netflix, binging on Netflix, watching movies watching TV. So, you know another answer I get on social media,
of answers I get, you know, as we go outside for a walk, you know, we do physical activities and so on, which is great.
So a lot of people are wasting their time. They are gaining, they are being driven movies, the anatomy these people have watching locked down now Subhan Allah, they probably never watched that much before. So think about this free time that you have. What can I do? Because Allah is gonna question me about this big time on the Day of Judgment. I put you in lockdown, you were at home, you had all the technology in the world. You could study Islam, you could do things for the sake of Allah, what have you done? Or what did you do during this time? How are we going to answer Allah Allah?
watching this show, I was watching that show I was doing this, I was doing that. I mean, how embarrassing would that be? Subhan Allah take care of this free time. What can we do?
You know, I was a
handler, the place that I work in the male staff and the female stuff, I work at a Muslim school. And to pass this time, one of the sisters she organized the step talent, you know, how many of us can do more steps, those male versus female stuff. And every night we put in our steps,
and Subhanallah, we going out with going for walks, you know, and we're calculating the steps on smartphones, you have all the smartwatches we have, and we're putting the steps
down every night. That's a challenge. It's actually ending tonight for canola, we had it for a month.
And an idea came to us, you know, like we are spending so much time walking and sitting and going out for walks and all that we can actually take advantage of that. What can we do the headphones that I have on right now. I'm speaking to you when I can get people listening, what people decided to do was, you know what, I can listen to the Quran while I'm walking. I can listen to the theory of the Quran. I can listen to lectures online, I can listen to the sphere of the prophets of Allah, Allah Salam, and wallah, he, I was talking to
any of these brothers, and they were telling me that they have memorized certain parts of the Quran by history, they have understood many parts of the theater of the prophet that tell them, they have, you know, a lot of theater of certain stories that I didn't know Subhanallah to take care of, of the three times that we get, you know, by doing these things, and so Allah and you will see the benefits of it. You know, so you have to be smart use the technology that you have, use the things around you in your home, and use it wisely, to fill up this free time for the sake of Allah subhanho wa taala. I know of a person who is in lockdown in is not working at all, you know, he didn't know how to read
Quran. I mean, he could read for under transliteration, but he didn't know how to read that.
He took this time, and he was able to learn how to read for an Arabic
Subhanallah taking advantage of this free time, very helpful.
So we should be doing the same. How much of Quran Did you memorize? Ask yourself that question. How much Quran are you reading on a daily basis? How much clearer? You know, have you learned, we all say we love the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, we all say we love the sahaba. We want to be
like them. How many of us took the advantage of this free time and studied about their life? Who they were these great heroes? I want to be like them. So who are they? How many of us have actually learned about them? So think about this for a moment? And if your answer is I haven't done much, then now is the time it's not too late. I mean, we're still on lockdown.
We're probably halfway through the lockdown a lot harder, you know, so we should take advantage of the time and try our best to fill in this free time for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala. Lastly, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he said, I take advantage of what? Hey, I take a problem. I will take care of your life before you postulate. And that's obviously in general terms. But let's look at it deeply. Let's look at it deeply.
Why is very short. We know that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam He said, People in my
ummah will only live 60 to 74. For some people that may seem a long time. I mean, I'm 33 I'm halfway there to kind of look. Now I'm thinking well, maybe three years, quite long. You know, I've got another 33 years left if I leave until then to cannula
You know, but it looks
so short if you compare it to the athlete is so short, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he gives us an example. He said, What is the example of this worldly life in comparison to the hereafter other than one of you dipping your finger in the sea. And let's see what he brings forth. That drop of water that comes out of your finger, compared to the entire ocean, that drop of water is your life compared to the ocean, that is the Assets panel. And we are running after this dunya we are running after we are trying our best to gain as much wealth as we can, as much fame as we can. We're doing so much to build this wealth, and we are destroying us.
You know, and we forget the comparison of this world, to the asset of the title of
every one of us is going to pass away, Allah subhanaw taala, he says, couldn't learn everything there is to know every single soul that will take them.
And you will be given the full reward the full compensation in the hereafter and whoever saves himself from hellfire and is admitted into Paradise because
he has succeeded. What what higher to dunya Illa Mateos and what is this? Well, except for the enjoyment of delusion, it was is nothing. We should be building VR. We should be focusing on the end goal. You know how they say, when you're planning for your life, you should plan for your end goal, what do you want to achieve in life, and that goal should be there. And then you work your way
up towards it. As a Muslim. Our goal is what Jared Leto says those, that's our goal, the highest of paradise. So what am I going to do to reach that place? That is your goal, and use this life to get there insha Allah Allahu taala. And you will see the amount of, you know, happiness and blessings and rewards from Allah subhanho wa Taala in your life.
And I would like to end my talk today, with a quote from our beloved brother, brother Ivan has passed away if he needs to go in Ramadan, and we know about his life. You know, we know Subhanallah that he had cancer.
And then he changed his life completely, you know, developing the Muslims around the world organization and helping those who are in need, establishing schools, establishing, you know, medical centers and hospitals and so on for the
people in need. It is so much for the sake of Allah subhanho wa taala. And he was one of those fortunate people. Just like back to the story that I mentioned the beginning, fortunate person who knows, who is being told that he may pass away soon. And then we had the time to turn around and change his life, to be closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala to do as much as he can, before that time come. He said something which is amazing. And we know this quote, they asked him, What do you regret the most? He said,
my biggest regret is that I took a man in a suit to tell me that I'm going to die.
But Allah subhanahu wa taala told me the same thing all my life, and I could not believe him.
We know that we're going to die. Allah has told us already. So let's prepare for that. Take care of this life. That man you have right now a hotly beating. We can do it so far. ask Allah for all the things that you've done. ask Allah for forgiveness for all of that. Change your life around
any SallAllahu Taala you will prepare yourself for the moments when the angel of death comes to take your soul. We ask Allah subhanahu wa taala to bless each and every one of us. We ask Allah subhanahu wa taala to help us take advantage of these five matters in our life. Before another five things happen to us. We are colossal.
In other words out of the water, to keep us patients in the calamity that we are going through now to help our brothers and sisters around the world that are suffering right now.
What was the kind of what's out there to help them and give them patience and to give those who have died during the course result? We ask Allah subhanahu wa taala to help us get out of this lockdown that we have and to become a society that is together again. We ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to open the doors of the massages, so we can perform our salad together. And we ask Allah subhanho wa Taala to gather all of us in Veneto, those were desert Qumulo ran a little bit from this pinnacle of multi $100 Illa endurance
but still took our kool aid for salam Wa alaykum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
