00:00:40 --> 00:00:48
			I shadow Allah Allah Allah Allahu Allahu la sharika wash had to Ana Mohammed Abdul Rasul Allah,
about

00:00:50 --> 00:00:53
			when the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was young.

00:00:54 --> 00:01:02
			One of the things that he did was, he helped with the household of Abu Dhabi.

00:01:04 --> 00:01:05
			In Hadith in Sahih Bukhari

00:01:07 --> 00:01:09
			Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu he said,

00:01:10 --> 00:01:12
			Paula, Paula sudo, Allah He said, Allah guiding

00:01:13 --> 00:01:20
			them the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, Ma'am, in Debian Illawarra I love
Adam.

00:01:21 --> 00:01:28
			There has never been a prophet of the prophets of Allah that said, Ma'am, in Debian, there has never
been a prophet

00:01:29 --> 00:01:36
			Illawarra as of Adam, except that he used to be a shepherd rather than him and he used to take care
of flocks and sheep.

00:01:37 --> 00:02:21
			There has never been a profit that means, from the first profit to the last profit, from profit Adam
either he Salah until the end, who is the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. There has
not been a single one except they used to be shepherds, Oliver Antalya, rasool Allah, even your
messenger of Allah. Now who is saying this, these are the people of course in Medina and the
youngsters, of course, they weren't alive during the time with the prophets of Allah, Allah Who so
he didn't know how he was when he grew up in Mecca. Of course, when the prophets have a lot of some
grew up in Mecca, he was just one of the youngsters of Mecca. And of course, he was very well known

00:02:21 --> 00:02:26
			in terms of his honesty, and his,

00:02:27 --> 00:02:32
			you know, his lineage and so forth. But what he really did

00:02:33 --> 00:02:43
			in a detailed manner, many of the companions, especially those in Medina did not know and so they
said, even you or messenger of Allah, like you are Shepherd also

00:02:44 --> 00:03:09
			now, going to arriva Allah colorare the adamak he said I used to take care of I used to take care of
our flock that belong to one of the people of Mecca for Allah Harare, Allah Harare, means that the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam did this just for

00:03:10 --> 00:03:22
			FRR it is a portion of a dinar. A dinar is what they used to use for their ham. And Ferrari. Just
like, you know, sometimes you have the whole

00:03:23 --> 00:03:51
			you have the whole dollar or $100 Bill, right. And then you have the small airport, smaller ones,
and you have the pennies. And to say, I love Ferrari, and it's just a few pennies, or just a few
dollars. You know, so why because this is not a job that, you know, pays really high. It's not
something that you know, that people grow up. As a child as a kid, I want to be a shepherd when I
grow up.

00:03:53 --> 00:04:38
			I want to be a shepherd when I grew up, people want to be doctors. People want to be this and that.
And you know, like, in the old days, they were probably like, I want to be a famous poet. I want to
be a famous poet, I want to be a big business man. And so but nobody says I want to be a shepherd.
Right? So it's, it's a humbling job. So humbling job, but every single Prophet used to do it. Why?
And what are the reasons for it? Why did Allah subhanho wa Taala specifically choose this profession
for all the prophets, especially when they became before they became profit or when they were Yeah.
Why? Because there are some benefits that come from it.

00:04:40 --> 00:04:44
			Ballard muhajir Hajer Rahim Allah had his book

00:04:45 --> 00:04:59
			and his book fadhel buried in the commentary on Sahil Buhari and of course, this particular Hadith
in Sahih Bukhari and so he said, Allah Allah, the scholars said, Al Hikmah

00:05:00 --> 00:05:38
			Feel happy in Herman Ambia mineraI lavandin public Naboo public Nobu and jasola home at a Marvin
there are alarma you call the phone home in the army Amrik committee him the animal Hala tortilla my
jasola Whoa al home where Chef aka the n omega sub sub O Allah right here we're Gemini but the far
rupee have filmora monopoly have been Misra Isla mascara. But definitely I Do I Do we have min min
min said that even more later he decided

00:05:40 --> 00:05:44
			well I didn't move the laughing sleep out I had we should get it to four rupee

00:05:45 --> 00:05:47
			bar we were the judge

00:05:48 --> 00:06:20
			Illa Marathi Allah formula Delica sobre la Luma so this is a word of no hazardous Fulani side. So
what did he say here? To translate that he said it Hikmah feel Hamel Ambia mineralia la Adam, public
Naboo the wisdom behind Allah Subhana Allah choosing this profession for the prophets before they
became prophets. There's so that they get used to so they get used to by taking care of these flocks

00:06:22 --> 00:06:42
			Allama Faloona Holman preemie Amblyomma to them so that they will be able to take care of the the
Ummah, their nations says there are some things that will help you take care of the of your nations,
while the animal hello to the animal hello to have my jasola home and head.

00:06:43 --> 00:06:49
			Home. Why because when you are one of the one of the benefits

00:06:50 --> 00:06:50
			of

00:06:52 --> 00:07:16
			taking care of the flock, is that it helps you to be helps you to be patient. To be a shepherd, you
have to be patient. And also, you have to also have compassion. You have to commit have compassion.
And when we're chuffed. When you're taking care of a flock of sheep, it's different than taking care
of a flock of a

00:07:18 --> 00:07:22
			herd of camels. Why camels are off.

00:07:23 --> 00:08:10
			Camels are rough and it's harder to take care of camels. So you have to be rough, you'll see like
those who take care of camels are much more coarse and harsh and rough. Those who take care of
sheep, they're much smaller. And you have to be a little bit more patient. And you also have to be
you also have to have a teaches you compassion. And when you're patient with that, you know when
when they scattered to different play when they're scattered. You're able to and then he says what's
the unknown either several Allah Yeah, we're Jamia. But that afar Rukia filmora. You know, when the
when the sheep and sheep, they scattered all over the place. Why? Because every sheep is eating from

00:08:10 --> 00:08:59
			here, every ship is eating from there. They're not all in one place. Right? And so you watch them as
they roam, and you just want to make sure that they don't go too far. But then there will come a
time in which you have to bring them all together. Yeah. Right, you have to unite all of them, and
bring all of them together and you have different types of sheet. You have different types. Some are
easier than others. Others are more stubborn, hard headed, always trying to cause problems also. So
you have different types, than you have to learn how to, you know, by hanging out with them and
taking care of them. You have to also learn you have to learn also to protect them. So he says he

00:08:59 --> 00:09:26
			says when you take care of them, we're not play him in muscle Hiromasa we're definitely I do we have
been sad that I knew of it was it imminent casada. So you also have to be protective of your flock,
protected from the wolves from the decent animals that may eat the flock and so you have to also
protect them. How do you protect them? Sometimes you see, sometimes you see the oncoming danger.

00:09:27 --> 00:09:59
			Sometimes you see the oncoming danger. But the danger it sounds because the flock is so low, always
eating, busy eating and they're not looking up for anything. They're just they just want to eat. And
so they're not looking up and they might not be able to see the danger that's coming. But a shepherd
is tall. And the shepherd is okay towards the horizon and sees more because they're higher up and
they're not low. And so before the danger comes to them, they have to be more

00:10:00 --> 00:10:41
			moved. So you have to learn how to move a flock, from danger to safety without them knowing that
they are in danger. Without them knowing that they're in danger. And that's how we are as, as
people, people who regular people who are involved busy with the dunya. But there is an oncoming
danger, there is a looming danger. When there are times in which you have to, you know, they have to
leave the dunya you're eating and you're enjoying the food and somebody tells you let it go, you
know, we got to go here, there's something more important because if you don't do this, you're going
to be in danger. So the prophets and messengers of Allah are given information. They're given

00:10:42 --> 00:11:15
			knowledge that others are not given through revelation from Allah Subhana Allah, so they know the
uncoming danger. So how do you move a group? Or how do you move people who are in danger, and take
them to safety without them knowing that they are in danger? So by being a shepherd, that's what
you're doing. Also, sometimes you see the oncoming danger, whether it's the weather, right, and the
weather is coming, do you see the clouds, oncoming clouds, the sheep, they won't scatter, they won't
run until when.

00:11:16 --> 00:12:03
			Until the railroad comes, it's too late. Right until the day the thunderstorms and so for whatever
it is already coming, it's already too late. Once you hit field, it's too late. So you have to move
before that. And so you learn how to you learn how to take your the flock, from from from from that
to safety. Because you know you also have to protect your flock from from thieves also, and others
from people who might take advantage of you. So when you when you follow the deen of Allah subhanho
wa Taala Allah subhanho wa Taala gives you that gives you freedom, freedom from what? Freedom from
the oppression of others. So when you stay away from Riba, for example, a loss of handle atoll is

00:12:03 --> 00:12:52
			giving you financial freedom so that you don't get tricked, and deceived by those who are taking
advantage of you. So when you're not, that's why I Muslim doesn't involve doesn't involve a Muslim
does not involve himself in in interest based loans and so forth. Because you don't want to shackle
yourself financially and then those walls was in this dunya take advantage of you, and you end up
paying and so forth. And at the same time also there are many other aspects of the society. And like
for example, Allah subhanho wa Taala wants to protect you from from, from some of the acts that may
cause harm to you and your family, like gambling, as Muslims were not allowed to gamble. Those who

00:12:52 --> 00:13:38
			indulge in gambling and get involved in gambling, it destroys their family, it destroys their
family, and it wipes away their wealth. And it breaks apart households. So Allah subhanho wa Taala
protects you from that. So by following the deen of Allah subhanaw taala, Allah Subhana Allah Allah
has given you the means to protect yourself. And some of those things you don't realize you don't
know how harmful they are. But Allah subhanaw taala knows what's best for us that these are trials
and tribulations like alcohol, how many lives how many people are who how many people's lives are
destroyed by alcohol, to the point where their families are broken apart. And they are now in the

00:13:38 --> 00:14:06
			streets as a result of drugs and alcohol. And so, families are destroyed and also a person's health
is deteriorates, and lives are lost. Money is wasted as a result of cigarette smoking and things
like that. So the deen of Allah subhanho wa Taala protects you and gives you protection from all
these from all of these

00:14:08 --> 00:14:50
			entities, there's evil entities that cause harmful harm for you. And so, how do you know sometimes
Hey, you know, there's, but you know, there's nothing there's so many people who are drinking, okay?
There are a lot of people who are gambling, they're just having fun. Right? And there's a lot of
people everyone's buying houses, how are you gonna afford a house, if you don't go and you don't
have an interest based mortgage mortgage, and then they don't realize that those people are going
are mentally psychologically they are, they have trapped themselves, and so they don't get the
happiness of this life. And they will also not get the success in the hereafter also at the same

00:14:50 --> 00:14:53
			time. And so a shepherd,

00:14:54 --> 00:15:00
			like just like the prophets and messengers, they know that these things are bad, but a lot of people

00:15:00 --> 00:15:27
			Don't know. So how do you convince people? When they don't see the looming danger? They don't see
the reasoning why, like, you know, a sheep is eating, there's like, Oh, this is good grass, why are
you trying to tell me to leave? I'm trying to tell you leave because there's a wolf there. So how do
you get someone who is enjoying himself in this life, how to get him to, to go from from, from, from
from these traps, and from these

00:15:29 --> 00:16:16
			these things that are like, maybe if they stay there longer, there'll be, you know, the greater harm
well flick them or be fall upon them. And so, a shepherd learns all of that. And, and why you move,
they laugh at me I have and also a shepherd knows the different types of the sheep, the specific
characteristics of the sheep, they are different. And so how do you and and also you also know that
you know, that there are weaknesses and, and we should, it's a follow up, we have MALBA we have, we
have Dr. Jihad LMR heredity, and we're ally for Metallica, sobre el Uma, right. And so they get used
to dealing with a sheep a flock of sheep. It helps you to be patient and Tao

00:16:17 --> 00:17:08
			helps you to be patient in that way. And so, also lengthy the greenery sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
the Dalek Abaddon, Alamo cow, no Accra Mahal. Allah He Makana Allah him in our limiter walga. Lira
be what the three he be Monetti alayhi wa ala iswan he middle Ambia also the fact that the Prophet
some have mentioned this also, the fact that the prophets have a fee, they could interview somebody
like Biden Ali Makoto acraman, after he knows that he is the most noble of all of the creation of
Adam, the creation of the son of Adam, like of all humanity, he is the most noble of the creation,
in the sight of Allah subhanho wa Taala even though he knows that right, he still really mentioned

00:17:08 --> 00:17:27
			he still mentioned this, and it shows his she shows his two auto shows his what his humility and his
humbleness. You know, it is to mention that to the people also, and to mention that as a as a
blessing

00:17:28 --> 00:17:44
			as a blessing upon him and all his also his brothers, you know all the other prophets and messengers
of Allah subhanaw taala also. So also what does being being that? How does that help you, helps you
to be humble and shatter

00:17:45 --> 00:18:07
			helps you teaches you humbleness, as I mentioned, it's not like the most lucrative, the most
prestigious of jobs that you have. But once you start off like that, it keeps you grounded. And it
keeps you also humble. And that's something that all the prophets and messengers of Allah they had.

00:18:08 --> 00:18:22
			And what the Jelena FIRA Hill wonnum As though Rafi will assess it their paper let Danny Jamal
Allahu be him and Abby who Mohammed and sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and

00:18:24 --> 00:19:16
			also is another sort of alias of Allah Huntington and NSF enough to hit upon Quadra at the cusp had
the Aquila accessibility of a bandana Yun kinara Miyamoto nettle. In fact, I'm Melody weoffer Allah
who was our elation, Karim, Allah robbed me I mean, I know Canada yarlington theory, a theory. So
here it also shows the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. The messenger shows how the
messenger of allah sallallahu litem was in his family, and in how and how he himself as soon as he's
able to remember because his father, his uncle, you know, as a child as a toddler child, you're not
able to help with the, in the household much, right? So people always take care of you. Right? You

00:19:16 --> 00:19:43
			don't worry about your bills. You don't worry about putting a roof over the head over your family's
head. When you're a child. You don't worry about putting food on the table. You don't worry about
much. You know like your parents, they go to work they do that for you come home, food is ready.
Everything is ready. Because also when you're a child you there's not much you can do. Right?
There's not much you can do go out and help

00:19:44 --> 00:19:56
			you know with the household but as soon as the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is
able to help as a young boy. He goes out and helps and he's bringing in some money at least even if
it's just a little bit

00:19:57 --> 00:19:59
			even if it's just a little bit he's bringing in and he's helping out

00:20:00 --> 00:20:13
			up, and it shows that the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was very thankful. And also
he's always helpful. He's very considerate. Some people might, you know, my uncle allows me a lot
spoils me, let me take advantage of it.

00:20:14 --> 00:20:56
			Right. Some people, let me take advantage, I want this, I'm gonna buy this do this. This is, you
know, he loves me, he's gonna bite for it. He didn't take care of me. But no, no, I'm gonna help
out. So he goes in, he works. And he's, of course, you know, like, any, like any youngsters here,
when you're still young, your first job, it's not really a high paying job, right? You're either
working in the mall somewhere, selling shoes, or helping, you know, like, selling, you know, like,
working at a clothing shop or a shoe store, or sometimes an ice cream shop or McDonald's. Right, the
first job somebody gets, it's just, you know, it's not a high paying job. It's not some job that

00:20:56 --> 00:21:34
			everybody's looking to, you know, you're not gonna have too much competition, because the pay is not
really high. And it's not something that people are looking, you know, to do in life. It's just
something that they want to do just to make a little bit of money to take care of themselves and
take care of their family. So the messenger of allah sallallahu alayhi salam, it shows that he was
someone who was very considered well manner, always thinking about helping out, not taking advantage
of other people, not just taking advantage of the fact that his uncle, and he realizes also as uncle
has a lot of children, with olive has a lot of children. He has been very kind to him considerate

00:21:34 --> 00:22:24
			and helpful, in all different aspects of life and livelihood that he had. So he wanted to help out
also. And so this shows the character of the Prophet salAllahu alayhi wasallam. And as a shepherd,
right, it shows that being a shepherd shows the type of person that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam was, and in Allah azza wa jal, Allah, Allah you are Jesus, who are you? How are you any
Mohammed in some Allah and he was some coolest buffer here, what you really can't say, we're good.
And Allah Subhana Allah, Allah does not need that His Prophet goes after you know he can he can take
care of him very easily, right? Allah subhanaw taala is able to give the messenger of allah

00:22:25 --> 00:23:11
			sallallahu alayhi wa sallam all have the means to take care of himself. He doesn't have to go to
work or anything like that is Allah able to do that? Allah doesn't have to force his prophet, the
prophet, some of them to go and struggle as a youngster just to make a few pennies or dollars here
and there to take care of his family and his household but no, well that can activate Hikmah to
Allah and to and to alumina and hydro mal in Santa Monica Saba who be God he, but it is a member of
the prophets of Allah, Allah Ipsum is, is an example for us. Before prophethood and after before
prophethood above that evil Baghdad. Before revelation and after revelation, his sunnah is

00:23:11 --> 00:23:59
			established from the time even when he was very young before he became a prophet. His life is an
example for us also, to teach us what to teach us it's the wisdom of Allah subhana to teach us that
the best wealth that you can have is that what you You work hard to, to earn in Halal way you work
hard to learn in a halal way with the effort that you put in. And, and we're in nippy metal inside
here, female per diem holy image temporary men hydrometric Quadra taka t. So as a Muslim, what we
are taught is to not depend on others. So a Muslim is not someone who takes advantage of the
government, for example,

00:24:00 --> 00:24:08
			takes advantage by you know, always, yes, if you need it, you know, you need assistance and so
forth. Yes. But that's not something that you should

00:24:09 --> 00:24:55
			seek to do. You understand you should always work hard, and to try to be the person who gives, not
the person who's asked you had earlier failed, Amelia does have the upper hand is better than the
lower hand. Be the one who gives, don't be the one who's always asking and dependent upon other
people. The most blessing well, is the wealth that you yourself are and you spend, and that's why
sometimes, you know, a lot a lot of times, we have, you know, we have a lot of people and a lot of
families sometimes you have mothers who are dependent or you know, have children that they have to
raise also. And so if they're going to work also and they don't have anyone to take care of them,

00:24:55 --> 00:24:59
			they're going to work something that's positive do all that they can, instead of just being

00:25:00 --> 00:25:23
			dependent upon, you know, social assistance from this program that program from the government and
so forth. And if someone is in need, yeah, that's fine. Right. But if you are able to work, let's
say, for example, you're working. If you work, you'll get this amount of money. If you don't work,
you get let me just a little bit less, but you don't have to work. Which one do you do?

00:25:25 --> 00:26:09
			You go on work as a Muslim, we have to be beneficial to society, not be a not be a burden on
society. That's what Islam teaches us to not be a burden on society, to be one who is able, and
that's where the baraka comes in. As soon as you start asking, as soon as you start, depending on on
assistance from other people, then you continue, your mindset will be that way. And you'll continue
to be dependent upon dependent upon other people. At the beginning, you might not make it in fact,
you might even make less Oh, I go to work, I make less than if I were just to Lion and lion, and say
that this and that, and I get government assistance, but there is no about okay in it. And so you

00:26:09 --> 00:26:17
			remain poor, because there's no bulkhead, when you start working a lot, opens up even more doors,
and give you more blessing

00:26:18 --> 00:26:30
			gives you more blessings. And so that's what we are taught, that the messenger that ALLAH SubhanA,
Allah can easily provide for his prophet. After all, he is the messenger of Allah,

00:26:31 --> 00:26:49
			He is the message but to teach us to teach us that even if you have to take a job that you know,
that's not high paying, and it's not the best, the most lucrative of jobs, but to take care of your
family to work with, to, to earn the money with your sweat, and your

00:26:50 --> 00:27:17
			your time and sweat, so that you can take care of your family, there's more blessing in it, there's
more blessing. And so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam went out. And it's the teach us that
we as Muslims have to be a productive member of society, to be the one that's helpful and not to be
dependent on other people. So if Allah gives you the opportunity to give, you know, give.

00:27:18 --> 00:27:26
			And so sometimes some people have a lot already, right, and they see some some things that are for
the poor, and they compete with the poor.

00:27:27 --> 00:28:08
			Like they compete in take from the poor also. And then you already have enough, like you already
have enough, and then you're gonna go and also compete with them, and try to take from there also,
from that, which they need, also know we should be the one who gives shall be the one and if you
continue to give, then Allah continues to give to you, if you continue to ask, even if you don't
need it, ALLAH SubhanA wa continues to destroy your wealth. And there's no Baraka in it whatsoever.
And so another thing that a person who is a shepherd benefits from and prepares them is that

00:28:11 --> 00:28:16
			you know, a person who, who, who's making that one

00:28:17 --> 00:28:35
			person who is calling people to Allah subhanaw taala. That person also, you know, should it's best
for that person to not dependent depend on people. Why? Because it may affect your, it may affect
what you have to say concerning the truth.

00:28:36 --> 00:29:18
			Why, because let's say the community is the one that's taking care of you. So you're dependent upon
the community, and then all the most, maybe the leaders of the community, or some of the people in
the community, they are, they are involved in certain sins. Right. And if you speak about that, they
might not be too happy about it. They might find a different Imam, for example, speak about that,
and I find differently, right? So you're afraid so you don't want to say it said prevents you from
saying the truth. You call it you're trying to teach people the truth. But then when you're worried
about your own, you know, means and that's why if it's possible, you should always try to, as a

00:29:18 --> 00:29:57
			daddy, as someone who's calling people to Islam as a leader, should always it's best to always find
means the words you're not dependent upon the community. And even if you know, whatever you take,
you give back some also or you, you're not worried about that. You're not worried about speaking the
truth. So you're not thinking okay, let me see, should I say this or not? Because if I say this, I
might not be able to put food on the table again, then you might not say it. You might, they might
prevent you from speaking the truth. And so it's teaching us also to be dependent. You have to work
hard to always bring it is in a halal way, and not to be dependent upon the people all the time.

00:29:58 --> 00:29:59
			Because as a day

00:30:00 --> 00:30:16
			You need that also going out and, and you know going outside you know being out in the open and not
being you know being out in the open you also appreciate the beauty of the creation of Allah
subhanaw taala why because in the, you know, atheism,

00:30:17 --> 00:30:22
			atheism is very, very prevalent in which areas

00:30:24 --> 00:30:28
			which areas are more atheistic.

00:30:29 --> 00:31:07
			The cities, the cities, right, generally the cities and the cities, when you are living between four
walls, most of the time concrete jungle, you look around, you don't see much all you see is just
buildings, cars, you don't see the beautiful rivers, you don't see the mountains and streams and so
forth. You tend to forget and you don't appreciate the greatness of the creation of Allah and the
beauty of the creation of Allah. But when you're out in the open, you see that at nighttime, for
example, when we look at the sky right now, what do we see?

00:31:09 --> 00:31:10
			You don't see anything.

00:31:11 --> 00:31:14
			Even if even if there are no clouds, what do you see?

00:31:15 --> 00:31:20
			You don't see anything. You go back to Somalia and the desert right? You look up. But you see,

00:31:21 --> 00:32:06
			you see all the stars so beautiful. You look up and here we go out into Eastern Washington away from
the cities. You look up, masha Allah, so beautiful, they see the see the shooting stars, and you see
the lights and the horizon when the sun is about to rise. And when the sun is setting, you see all
that beauty. And you look at the rivers and the mountains and you appreciate the creation of Allah
Subhana Allah said, brings you closer to Allah subhanho wa taala. Because you're able to appreciate
that, and those in the city, they just, they don't get connected to that. So you don't appreciate
that much. So that brings it helps you also to bring you closer and appreciate. appreciate the

00:32:06 --> 00:32:11
			beauty of the creation of Allah subhanho wa taala. Another thing is a shepherd has a lot of time,

00:32:12 --> 00:32:24
			time to do what to reflect, time to reflect time to think. Right. So you know, being a shepherd,
yeah, you're busy. But when the flock is eating, you're just watching them.

00:32:25 --> 00:33:08
			Right and you're sitting, maybe leaning against the tree, you're just watching you have your staff,
you're just looking around, and you're thinking, you know, you have a lot of time to think you have
a lot of time to reflect. And so sometimes you need that time to relax, and it brings you closer to
Allah subhanho wa Taala you know, when you have time for and that's why for us, we need that also,
we have that in our prayer. And we will pray five times a day. And that's why if you look at the
areas where we're all the atheists, those who don't believe in Allah, they're the ones that are in
the city that never will go out and the farms and so forth. They believe in Allah subhanaw taala

00:33:09 --> 00:33:15
			they might not be Muslims. But he said Believe in God. Yeah, of course, we do this, who created all
of this?

00:33:16 --> 00:33:43
			In the city? Okay, I made that. We did that. So So did that. They don't get to look at the mountains
in the snow cap, mountain ranges and so forth. No. Right. And so it's different. So if you go out in
the open, and the farmland and so forth, people believe in God. People believe in God. And they're
much too much more into religion. And so that's why when you're out in the open as a shepherd,

00:33:44 --> 00:34:19
			you know, you have all of that. And you appreciate all of that also. And so, you know, don't make
fun of a shepherd again, those who has ever been a shepherd, you know, Allah Subhana Allah has given
them a lot. You know, this, all the prophets and messengers, they used to be shepherds also. They
every single one of them, they used to be shepherds, and these are the more humble people. And as I
mentioned, you know, if someone takes care, you know, I don't if you've been around camels, camels
are very rough. Right? You have to

00:34:20 --> 00:34:21
			you have to be

00:34:22 --> 00:35:00
			sheep. You don't have to hit them. They're just small. You've kicked a live live ready. And so with
a camera that might kick you back. And you know, a camera remembers you need to come back to you.
And we have a Harvey there's so many incidences in cases. With cameras, you have to be rough with
them. You know, it's harder. It's hard. Yeah, they do. Definitely they do. And that's why also the
Prophet southern forbade forbade us from praying and camel stars, because he had been like to stay
there. It's rough. It's near the shelter. You'd like to stay there and that's why camels are

00:35:00 --> 00:35:52
			harsh, you know, they're beautiful creatures and they're wonderful in the desert. You know in areas
where there's no water, they can survive for long stretches. They are amazing amazing that Allah
created them that fella young Runa either EBk for holy cuts. Do you not see how Allah created the
the camel study by the camel, you'll be amazed. Oh how long they can survive without water with that
sand in the desert. Allah gave them protection for their eyes, everything their eyelashes, beautiful
long eyelashes ready for typing on the sand. Allah created them for the desert. He created them so
they can you can ride for days and weeks in the desert, right? They're amazing creatures. But they

00:35:52 --> 00:36:39
			are not like sheep. They're not like sheep, sheep also, you know, they, there's so many aspects of
being a shepherd, that helps you be a leader gives you patience gives you you know, calmness and so
somebody you know, when there's chaos, you have to be calm as a leader. You have to be calm, as a
leader. And so, Allah subhanho wa Taala made every single one of them shepherds, there are certain
other things. There are many, many ways of how Allah subhanho wa Taala also in his young days
protected the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and raised the status of the messenger of allah
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. One another section that we're going to cover right now as Mab had the

00:36:39 --> 00:36:40
			Tasya

00:36:41 --> 00:36:42
			in Ayatollah Hila, who

00:36:44 --> 00:37:25
			deny or to lie, in Ayatollah Hello, Allah Subhan, the care of ALLAH SubhanA wa the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam were to whom inbound Valley were more than the jatiya and the Prophet,
Allah protecting the Messenger of Allah from some of the evils of Jaya Helia some of the things that
they used to do in Jahir Aliah will hate them when a buttermilk Daddy can these are some of the
wisdom and some of the things that happen during the time of the Prophet sallallahu wasallam when he
was young, so what happened? What were some of the things lapad Sharika Rasool Surah Lovato some VRI
DTB NERICA, in the mother indemnitor had in indemnitor had them and

00:37:26 --> 00:38:20
			the Kaaba is in, sort of like a bowls bowl shaped area, in a bowl shaped area surrounded by
mountains. And so when it rains, all the water comes into the area around the camera. So, you know,
when there's when it's really light rain, it's not that heavy, the sand, the sand and the ground.
Mecca usually seeps in. It's really good, right? Taking all that water. But when you have heavy
rain, all the water from the mountain, flows into Mecca, flows into Mecca, and flows into the area
to Canada. In fact, sometimes when it rains a lot before they had all these sewer systems, there was
a lot of flooding also, I don't know if you've seen some of the older pictures of sometimes the

00:38:20 --> 00:38:24
			cabin was flooded. And there were people swimming around the cabin making dollhouse.

00:38:25 --> 00:38:33
			They're literally swimming and they're hanging on to hide your last word while they're swimming to
the edge as well. And that's a time when you can kiss I did. That's my problem.

00:38:35 --> 00:38:55
			Too many people that we were going to be swimming in there, but some of the old days. That's how I
was, and I've only up to recent time, even the 70s And so when that early 80s It was still when it
rained very heavily. It would it would flood. And so there was there was of course,

00:38:56 --> 00:39:34
			an incident that occurred during the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam the messenger of
allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was someone who brought peace. And it was when the when the Kaaba
after the year the flood and heavy rain. It was crumbling almost as a result of the water. It was
crumbling. So they the people of Mecca decided to rebuild the kava and the Kaaba during the time of
the Prophet sort of live. So when he was young, was not cubicle. Right? It was not cubical it was,
like similar to this.

00:39:35 --> 00:39:45
			It's a rectangular like shape. It wasn't cubical it's like this. Right? So the shape of the catwalk.
If we were to go back in time, we will see the cabling like this.

00:39:46 --> 00:39:59
			Right now it's like this, right? It's Cuba. Yeah, it's Cuba. But it wasn't like that during the time
of the Prophet some little things. So now why was it like that? It was when it was during this year.

00:40:00 --> 00:40:05
			that happened. So when the Kaaba was, you know, when was affected by the flood?

00:40:06 --> 00:40:08
			They were trying to collect money.

00:40:10 --> 00:40:12
			Right? They collect money from the people to build rebuild the karma.

00:40:14 --> 00:40:17
			And so when they were collecting money, they made an announcement.

00:40:19 --> 00:40:22
			They said, everyone bring in whatever you donate,

00:40:23 --> 00:40:24
			make sure it's halal.

00:40:25 --> 00:40:36
			And again, if we generally they know, right, they knew that this is the house of Allah. This is the
house of Allah, you don't bring any money. That's haram.

00:40:37 --> 00:40:45
			Any haram sources, if you cheated to try to get that money, you oppressed other people you lied
about? Don't we don't need that. It's not accepted.

00:40:47 --> 00:40:53
			Because you know the image even here, of course, in Islam, we know that the Prophet someone lives
and says, He said in Allaha, uban,

00:40:54 --> 00:41:07
			layup value Illa Yeva. Allah has Pierre does not accept anything, except for that which is here. So
if you're going to build a masjid, it has to be done with that which is pleasing to ALLAH SubhanA

00:41:08 --> 00:41:51
			when you're going to make hides the wealth that you have, has to be worth that is halal. From Halal
means, from sources that are not displeasing to Allah, we have to have something that are everything
you have to try to please Allah with. You can only use that which is pleasing to Allah. Right. The
means also has to be pleasing to Allah. So they knew that. And you know, when they started
collecting the shells, their society, they also knew that they were doing many things that were
wrong. Right. So when they were collecting money, they ran out of money. They were very wealthy.
They were very, very wealthy, they had plenty of money. But they did not have a lot of Halloween

00:41:51 --> 00:42:05
			money. They knew that this was not allowed. So when they're collecting, they were only able to
collect the amount that was able that they were able to build the cab up to the point where it was
cubicle. So what about 1/3 of the cab?

00:42:07 --> 00:42:39
			Right, the other two, the other one, about two thirds of the cabassa. The other third, they couldn't
build. They don't have money, and they don't have a lot of money. So Jackie, did they understood
that Muslim sometimes we don't understand that. And there are some people who you know, when you're
building masjid, like, why don't we just you know, as we need a place, we have to make the get this
loan, otherwise not going to work or, you know, so it has to be Khaled. So the reason why they were
not able to complete the whole cap, the way it was from the time of Prophet Ibrahim

00:42:40 --> 00:42:43
			was because they didn't have enough money.

00:42:45 --> 00:43:00
			They did not have hella money. And it shows their society. They knew that they were oppressing other
people. Some of that was from different sources that were that they knew that they were
unacceptable. And so they

00:43:02 --> 00:43:06
			they were only able to build and when they were about to finish what happens.

00:43:07 --> 00:43:15
			Everybody remember building the Kaaba, the people of Mecca did you have one leader? You didn't you
had a power sharing

00:43:16 --> 00:43:26
			system where certain people were responsible for certain duties. There are certain tribes were in
charge at certain clans were in charge

00:43:27 --> 00:44:03
			of war and peace, negotiations and so forth. Others were in charge of their religious affairs, just
like Banu Hashim and others were in charge of taking care of the pilgrims, and, and so forth. And so
there was a power sharing thing when it comes and so there was a lot of rivalry between the
different clans and different families. Right, so there's a lot of rivalry. So everybody wanted to
when you put the cap on the best, the most, the most prestigious and the most noble

00:44:04 --> 00:44:06
			part of the Kaaba is what

00:44:07 --> 00:44:23
			it's the Blackstone and had your last one, that's the Blackstone. So who will be able to put that
in? Remember, because you know why, you know, when when you build when you have a new building,
right? When you have a new building, and you finish that building,

00:44:24 --> 00:44:26
			right or when you start the building, what do people do?

00:44:27 --> 00:44:31
			Sometimes they they bring in someone who is elected official,

00:44:33 --> 00:44:45
			elected official who you know, there's the opening ceremony, then they have the ribbon. Who gets to
cut that? Like know what they do, they just like, hey, they pick anyone to come cut it.

00:44:46 --> 00:44:54
			And like not every Joe Schmo can come into play. You got the rubber deer. Hey, you're the closest
Come on. Go ahead. Got it. You got a sensor on you.

00:44:56 --> 00:44:59
			Right now, you guys

00:45:00 --> 00:45:13
			You got to sit there, you still can't cut it, who can cut it? Who can open the door? Who can you
know, the opening? You know, this is this is the open this is the last thing. Right? Who is it? That
gets that, that gets

00:45:14 --> 00:45:30
			the honor of doing that. It's someone who's very respected. Right, anybody. So this one, whoever
gets to put that the Blackstone, the final stone on the Kava. Like, whoever that is that someone
who's very respected.

00:45:31 --> 00:46:07
			And that's the clan that's very respected. Usually as the leader, the most respected, nobody's going
to, you know, no one's gonna dispute and say, you know, I have more right now because you know, that
this guy, he, whatever he did in the past, or whatever he is, his job is whatever it is. He's
important. Right? So whoever gets to put that, that's a big thing. So now you have different we do
we want to get it, we want to put it like, Well, yeah, we're gonna do that. And then we're gonna cut
the ribbon, you guys have to know we reserve the right to cut the ribbon because of this. And
everybody's mentioning this and that. And they're about to fight over that.

00:46:09 --> 00:46:24
			Because the honor of them of building, this is the most, this is the most respected building, or
structure in all the world. This is the house of Allah.

00:46:25 --> 00:46:29
			That Allah subhanho wa Taala protected when Abraham came

00:46:30 --> 00:46:38
			right when the profit from the year the problem was born, a loss had an army of birds to destroy an
arm to destroyed him.

00:46:39 --> 00:46:48
			All of Arabia knows that if you get to put this one this this black stone in that your clan is the
top

00:46:50 --> 00:46:53
			your clan is a tie. You're the leader of that clan. You're number one.

00:46:54 --> 00:47:06
			And everybody's claiming that all the different clans and Maccha. And there are no we're not going
to let you do it. Know who you think you are. We deserve it. Nobody's ever, and they're about to
fight.

00:47:07 --> 00:47:09
			They are about to fight literally, they're about to fight.

00:47:11 --> 00:47:17
			Until finally, they decided they said okay, we have to do something, we have to decide.

00:47:19 --> 00:47:23
			We have to agree because we don't want a civil war in Mecca.

00:47:24 --> 00:47:27
			Because this could lead to Civil War where they're killing each other.

00:47:29 --> 00:47:31
			Because in Medina,

00:47:32 --> 00:47:33
			they're killing each other.

00:47:35 --> 00:47:43
			In Medina, Nina, they're killing each other awesome causes Raj the hood, even though they're killing
each other over what they're living in the same city.

00:47:45 --> 00:47:47
			Same, but they're killing each other because of things like this.

00:47:49 --> 00:47:58
			And then they don't want that to happen. Also, you know, we have to be united and we can't destroy
everything that we build all these years. This is the Quraysh

00:48:00 --> 00:48:06
			we have to find a way. And so what can we do? Like okay, fine.

00:48:07 --> 00:48:16
			See that alleyway? You know, remember, they didn't have a building around the cabinet, right? They
said, Okay. We don't know who's going to come next through that alleyway.

00:48:17 --> 00:48:22
			But whoever comes through there, let's agree before he comes.

00:48:23 --> 00:48:46
			Let's agree. Before he comes, that the next person that walks through that alleyway that comes to
the Kaaba, right through the alley, remember, they have houses around, right? So between the houses,
they're added through that. So they have one particular whoever walks through there, the next
person, he's going to be able to do that. He makes the decision. He's in charge.

00:48:47 --> 00:48:55
			And so of course, there's okay, we agree. So you have to agree ahead of time right now. Everyone
agrees and what's everyone hoping for?

00:48:57 --> 00:49:05
			I hope it's someone from my club. Everyone's like, man, come on, come on. So and So come, right,
everyone our time we'd be texting, hey, come up.

00:49:07 --> 00:49:23
			Hey, come through the alleyway right now. We need you quickly. Just come through. You make the
decision you get. So of course we'll be taxable nowadays. You can't tell anyone you are right there.
The decision is being made right now. You can't communicate that to anyone else. You just depend on
whoever's walking through that alleyway.

00:49:25 --> 00:49:28
			Right. And who comes through that alleyway?

00:49:30 --> 00:49:33
			Who is it? But the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.

00:49:34 --> 00:49:35
			And you know what?

00:49:37 --> 00:49:42
			When the Messenger of Allah some walks through that alleyway, everybody,

00:49:43 --> 00:49:44
			everybody.

00:49:46 --> 00:49:47
			Everybody is happy.

00:49:49 --> 00:49:50
			Do you know why everyone's happy?

00:49:52 --> 00:49:56
			Because they know that he is the most trustworthy.

00:49:57 --> 00:49:59
			He will not harm anyone. He does not

00:50:00 --> 00:50:02
			Lie is the best of the people mech.

00:50:03 --> 00:50:12
			Already the best in terms of his character. There's none like him already. Everybody knows as
Mohammed. That's the guy. That's the most honest guy.

00:50:13 --> 00:50:27
			The most honest guy and you know, he's, you know, like how some people you, you know, like, Hey,
this guy is a party animal, right? He was the best. Yeah, he doesn't do anything wrong. He's like
that perfect person.

00:50:28 --> 00:50:31
			Right? So everyone's happy.

00:50:32 --> 00:50:38
			Now the prophets, Allah could have easily said, okay, you know, you guys chose me. Let me do it. No.

00:50:40 --> 00:50:43
			Shows us wisdom. Let me do it. No,

00:50:44 --> 00:50:58
			he knows the situation looks hot. Why? How look, how why is he does? He doesn't just say, okay,
okay, I have the, you know, you let me do it. You know, or I make the decisions, you know, what were
the product? Well, we're bundle Hashem with the best anyways.

00:51:00 --> 00:51:00
			I know.

00:51:02 --> 00:51:10
			He is someone who is wise beyond his years, this was even before became a prophet, and messenger of
God.

00:51:11 --> 00:51:17
			He said, He takes off his hat, he does, you know, the upper garment. He lays it on the ground.

00:51:18 --> 00:51:20
			He puts the cap, he puts the Blackstone

00:51:21 --> 00:51:22
			in the middle.

00:51:23 --> 00:51:27
			And he says every single one of you grab a side of it,

00:51:28 --> 00:51:36
			everyone, I want you to lift it up together all at once. So every single clan has a hand in it.

00:51:38 --> 00:51:45
			Every clan has a hand in it. And they lift it up. And he puts it in the place.

00:51:47 --> 00:51:58
			And so everyone's happy because they all are involved in it. Look at the wisdom of the Prophet some
civil wars, not only civil wars averted, everybody's happy at the decision.

00:51:59 --> 00:52:17
			And him putting in it Alhamdulillah he's the best anyways. You know, so his status, of course is
already raised. Everybody knows already. Allah subhana protected the prophets of Allah. And Allah
raised his status, from the very beginning to the point where he is going to be your leader.

00:52:18 --> 00:52:19
			Preparing them ahead of time,

00:52:21 --> 00:52:23
			because anyone could have walked into the alleyway at that time.

00:52:25 --> 00:52:27
			Some drunk guy could have just walked in.

00:52:28 --> 00:52:30
			Anyone, right?

00:52:31 --> 00:52:37
