sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was Sharon ohmori Martha to have a collaborative effort in beta work
will be the agenda.

00:01:19 --> 00:01:34
			The topic today that we will be speaking about inshallah will be taking advantage of your wealth
before poverty afflicts you. This is a very important topic. And the reason being is because we are
in

00:01:35 --> 00:01:55
			this economic or financial state that this society right now is in when an economic downturn, so
many people are losing their jobs. And there are a lot of business businesses are going out of
business. And so

00:01:57 --> 00:02:40
			because of that situation, because of the situation, this is a very important topic, and especially
when we're speaking about giving, giving for the sake of Allah, because the best time to give for
the sake of Allah is right now and the economic downturn. When things are not going that well. This
is the best time to give. This is when we should give. It's the perfect time to give. You might say,
hey, wait, that's the opposite, isn't it? Like when you have a lot of money? That's when you should
give me isn't it better that way? No. The opposite is true. What I have mentioned is true. It's the
best time and the reason being is because the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said so? He

00:02:40 --> 00:03:34
			mentioned the Hadith in Sahih Bukhari and Muslim from Avi hooray authority. Allahu anhu. He came, a
man came to the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and said O Messenger of Allah, which
sadaqa I mean, which charity is the best out of them will add on meaning that which one will I get
the most reward for doing what type of South Africa and so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
then mentioned the condition and then he mentioned how or what type of setup is the best and on what
condition that person is in should that person is in. And so he said, and the sad duck. He said that
when you give sadaqa will enter So hey, hon shahan the shell Fokker what, Malvina, he said the best

00:03:34 --> 00:03:50
			time to give soda is when you are healthy. So hi, hon. Shaheen and you're feeling a little bit
greedy. The miser you know, you feel this, you feel duck shell, and you're afraid of poverty.

00:03:51 --> 00:03:58
			Now there was a condition that you're in, maybe you may be in a condition there where you're hoping
to find a job.

00:04:00 --> 00:04:03
			You're hoping to find a job, but you don't have the job yet.

00:04:05 --> 00:04:15
			Or you do have a job. And you see many people, people being laid off, your co workers are no longer
working. And you might be that next person

00:04:17 --> 00:04:51
			that shall soccer and you're afraid of poverty, without melvina but you're hoping for the best.
You're hoping for the best, then that is the best time to give sadaqa The most rewarding of the sada
cards, the one that you'll get the most reward, and is the best time also because it will help you
in that sense financial state or situation that you're in. Maybe because you gave sadaqa during that
time, Allah will stabilize your,

00:04:52 --> 00:04:59
			your financial situation. Maybe that's why that's why you're not the one that will be laid off or
fired.

00:05:00 --> 00:05:26
			Because that because you gave sadaqa because you help. And so he and then he said, Well, I told him
and do not wait. And do not procrastinate had either Bulava till home until finally, your soul
reaches your throat. And then you say, oh, whatever I have is for such and such person, this person
and that person because it's already there.

00:05:28 --> 00:06:15
			Meaning that time to give you there's not much reward in it. Because it's already there. It's when
you feel like when it's difficult to give, that's when that's when you are more rewarded, that's
when the reward is greater. And that's one of the characteristics of a believer that they spend in
time of ease, and they spend in time of times of hardship. That's why Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah
says in Surah, Allah Emraan was added we love a pharaoh to Mira become with Jonathan Otto has some
Allah to Allah All right, that will Metatron and compete and vibe with each other with Sadie or lm
Pharaoh to mirror become via and compete with each other for the for the forgiveness of Allah for

00:06:15 --> 00:06:17
			the mercy and forgiveness of Allah.

00:06:18 --> 00:06:38
			Your Lord, what genoten are the Hassan Allah to Allah and paradise in which the width of which is
the width of the heavens and the earth. All right, that's a little more depth in prepared for those
who have Taqwa for the Metatron. Now who are the Mata Han?

00:06:39 --> 00:06:52
			Allah subhanho wa Taala then tells us who they are. And then he says, Allah Deena Yoon, se pueden
FSR rah, rah. Those who spend in times of ease and hardship.

00:06:53 --> 00:07:50
			Well Kaldi mean values, and those who control their anger, well, ifI nine in NES, and those who
forgive others will law who you have been seen in. And, and Indeed, Allah loves those who do good.
Allah loves those who do good. And so these are the characteristics of the people of Jannah. The
people of Paradise, they control their anger, they control their emotions, they spend in times of
hardship, and an ease. And so you do not wait until you until you do not wait. When you lose that
money, you might want to help others but you're not going to be able to. And so that's why you don't
procrastinate. And one of the reasons when you look at the Quran, when you read the Quran, I want

00:07:50 --> 00:08:22
			you to read next time, I want you to focus on one aspect. And that is read whenever you come across.
And I hear a verse that is speaking about the people of the hellfire. I want you to look at the
reasons why they're in the Hellfire because they will mention why they are there in many verses.
When Allah speaks about the people in the Hellfire, he will mention why they are there. And they
themselves will mention

00:08:23 --> 00:08:48
			they will say so. And we will read about you can read about it in the Quran. But there there are a
couple reasons. There are a few reasons. And one of the reasons but there's these reasons have a
common factor. Each one of them, you'll find most of the reasons for it is that they will say that
they were procrastinators,

00:08:50 --> 00:09:01
			that they were lazy or they always procrastinate it, they didn't do it there and then when they had
the time, they didn't do the good deeds when they had the time. They didn't spend when they had the
money.

00:09:03 --> 00:09:34
			And so they are regretful afterwards. So look for that procrastination in the Quran, because it knew
it and he said the majority of the people of a Hellfire when they enter the hellfire. It's because
of their procrastination, and their sorrow and regrets or because of their procrastination. Whether
they because they don't spend or because they don't do good deeds. And Allah subhanho wa Taala is
Allah subhanho wa Taala when he speaks about a man believe

00:09:45 --> 00:09:58
			Allah subhanho wa Taala when he speaks about belief in a man, he always puts together with it
spending in the way of Allah subhanho wa Taala Allah subhana wa says and sort of headed by the now
the Billahi min ash shaytani r rajim.

00:10:00 --> 00:10:14
			I mean Oh, he was also he was fiocco Masha Allah con mustafina fee, believe in Allah and His
messenger and spend from that which he has given you.

00:10:16 --> 00:10:35
			He alone he's entrusted you with or given you as a trust in concerning it for levena am an omen como
amfa boo la home agilon kavir indeed those who spend who believe and spend, indeed they will have a,
an enormous reward.

00:10:36 --> 00:10:51
			And so Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions believe, believing in Allah and spending for the sake of
Allah, and taking advantage advantage of that, before death comes. Because when death comes

00:10:53 --> 00:10:59
			when at the time of death, a loss of hotels is the condition of the people.

00:11:00 --> 00:11:24
			when death comes, when death comes, what did they say? What do they want to do? What do they want to
do? Do they want? What's the thing that they want to do? Do they want to come back? So they can give
their final farewell goodbyes to their parents, to their friends, to their family, family members?
Know

00:11:25 --> 00:11:32
			what at the time of death? Did they want to win when they know that they that death has already
come? What do they want to do?

00:11:33 --> 00:11:38
			They want to return back to take that final vacation, final vacation

00:11:39 --> 00:11:50
			and then die. What's the last thing? What do they want to do? They want to come back. But when they
want to cut when they say they want to come back? What do they want to do?

00:11:52 --> 00:12:02
			They will want to do good deeds. But what kind of good deeds do they want? Allah Subhana Allah tells
us in the Quran

00:12:03 --> 00:12:05
			about those who pass away

00:12:06 --> 00:12:24
			when they die, the condition that they are in and some of the things that they want. The thing is
some many of the things that they want to do. We ourselves living in this world right now. We can do
them right now.

00:12:25 --> 00:13:02
			We can do them right now. Allah Subhana Allah says, will enviable mementos of nalco mean public at a
hydrocarbon mount for your pool. And then he will say, Rob biloela herten Isla ajilon Karim, Allah
tells us and sort of the monasticon Allah says spend for our own people mementos have now come from
that which we have given to you mean, probably at a hydrocarbon mouth before death comes to you.
That comes to one of you for your pool. And he will say, Lola, harsanyi, illa ajilon corrib. If only

00:13:03 --> 00:13:10
			you could bring me back for a short amount of time, just for a few moments.

00:13:12 --> 00:13:19
			To do what was the thing that they want to do for us sadaqa akumina, Sally.

00:13:20 --> 00:13:45
			So that they can give sign up and be amongst those who are righteous. That's what they want to do
when they want when they want to come back. After they pass away. They wish that they could spend
every penny every every pound, all the money that they have in the bank. They wish they could come
back so they can give all that away.

00:13:46 --> 00:14:13
			So they could they could spend. They didn't say I wish I could come back. So I can see my father
again, my mother, again, my children, again, my spouse again now, for Assad up. We're coming in so
that I can just for a short moment in time, not long. Just give me a few more moments. So that I can
just empty my bank account and give that for the sake of Allah.

00:14:14 --> 00:14:43
			Because they know that all of that which they have left, they're regretting it, they should have
given that before this came before death came. Or for many of us sometimes before poverty comes. And
so because when poverty comes in the conditions that people always change, you will see a
millionaire who is very rich, maybe at the end of his life, lifetime or towards the end of his
lifetime. He's broken, he has nothing left.

00:14:45 --> 00:14:59
			You see mean the conditions the financial conditions of people always change. And so you spend
before that time comes in, in fact, sometimes it's the opposite also, they will cut there will also
come a time these are glad tidings for the Muslims.

00:15:00 --> 00:15:45
			The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam also said they at Edna Allah ness, they will come
a time in which a man he or two for Rajan, Fie Fie the sadaqa he will go around with money when
sadaqa means that have fun with gold and the likes, some Li he hadn't yet who, yeah, who haven't
been home, then he'll find, but he'll find nobody to take it away from him. We know nobody will take
We'll take it from him, the Son of God that he has, this is glad tidings also for the Muslims. And
you know, when some of the scholars have mentioned this is when the time and profit ACR they set up
an email Monday when they come, because there's so much blessings in it. And when you spend for the

00:15:45 --> 00:15:48
			sake of Allah Subhana Allah, you don't lose anything.

00:15:49 --> 00:15:51
			You know, you have to

00:15:52 --> 00:15:58
			everything that you have in this world right now. Anything that you love, anything that you like,

00:16:00 --> 00:16:02
			you can take it with you to the hereafter.

00:16:03 --> 00:16:06
			Anything, you can take it with you.

00:16:08 --> 00:16:20
			But how do you do it? How do you do it? In order for you to take anything that you like, in this
life with you, you have to give it away for the sake of Allah.

00:16:21 --> 00:16:44
			When you give it that's when it remains with you. That's when it stays. If you don't give it you
keep it whatever you eat, whatever you use up, it's going to be used up and God anything you love
will stay with you, if you give it for the sake of Allah Subhana that and that's what and this is
also a sign of piety and righteousness. Allah subhanho wa Taala says, learn

00:16:46 --> 00:16:48
			to simple

00:16:50 --> 00:17:01
			had that simple math to help boo. You shall never attain piety until you spend from that which you
love.

00:17:03 --> 00:17:53
			You won't attain piety and righteousness until you spend from that which you love. You don't look
for the things that are leftovers and give that to others or clothing that you no longer want. or
things that you don't need. When you give you give the best. Because as a Muslim, we love for others
what we love for ourselves. ism is something that is required of every Muslim, but a person who
achieves a higher level. A praiseworthy level that's minimum for every Muslim. Most people when they
when they read the headline, you know haidakhan had, you have barely a Hema you have bulleen FC,
when they read the Hadith, none of you truly believes until he loves for himself what he loves for

00:17:53 --> 00:18:18
			his brother. They think that that is a very high level of Eman. But that's a minimum requirement.
That's why the Prophet sallallahu wasallam said you should not lie umino you will not believe you
will not have faith you will not have a man until you do this. But what then what is the
Praiseworthy position? The praiseworthy position is when you love others more than what you love for
yourself

00:18:19 --> 00:18:23
			when you want for others more than what you even want for yourself.

00:18:24 --> 00:18:32
			Lenten Aloe Vera hatoful mingma to have bone, you should never attain piety, until you spend from
that which you love.

00:18:33 --> 00:18:57
			And if you love for others, more than what you love for yourself, this is the time this is the level
in which Allah subhanho wa Taala praises the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
when he says well, you don't have to see him while can be him Haha, so they prefer others over
themselves, even if they're in dire straits.

00:18:59 --> 00:19:07
			I mean, even there's hardships for them, but they prefer others over themselves. And so when a
person

00:19:08 --> 00:19:12
			gives sadaqa you give that which you love. And

00:19:14 --> 00:19:50
			this is one way to save yourself from the hellfire. And as I mentioned the condition financial
conditions that people change. And if you want to remain and have the blessing of Allah, then be
thankful for that. Be thankful for the blessings that He has given to you in terms of your health,
your wealth, and your your money and everything else. So how do we how can we be thankful because if
you are thankful, if you are if you are thankful, Allah who increase it for you.

00:19:52 --> 00:19:53
			Allowing will give you more

00:19:55 --> 00:19:59
			and he will increase it for you. While in shakaar supplies he did not come in if you are

00:20:00 --> 00:20:01
			thankful I went crazy for you.

00:20:02 --> 00:20:20
			So how can we show our gratitude for the wealth and the condition that we are in terms of the money
than the wealth that we have, by using that wealth, to do things that are pleasing to Allah,
spending it by helping,

00:20:21 --> 00:21:14
			helping in the dour? spending it by helping other Muslims. And if you do this sincerely, from your
heart to help others, then Allah subhanho wa Taala will also Allah subhanho wa Taala will also help
you in the Day of Judgment. The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said manifesta and
what meaning corba mean Corbett dunia Napa Solano corbetta makara VideoMic kiama. Whoever alleviates
or relieves a believer of a calamity or affliction or any type of problem, Allah will alleviate from
him one of the calamities and the problems and of the hereafter for him in the in the Day of
Judgment. And whoever makes it easy for others Allah will make it easy for him. That's in the

00:21:14 --> 00:21:33
			hereafter. Also in this life, when you spend for the sake of Allah, when you spend for the sake of
Allah, when it's time, when you're in ease, when you do have the money, and you spend, when the
hardship comes. When the hardship comes, Allah subhanho wa Taala will help you

00:21:34 --> 00:21:48
			the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said, daughter of eleifend raha yarraka should know Allah
in times of ease, and Allah subhanho wa Taala will know you in times of hardship.

00:21:49 --> 00:22:13
			And it's a way to save yourselves from the hellfire. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi salam said Hadith
in Sahih Bukhari and Muslim from idea of neuheiten he said that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said
minko Minar had an illness that you can Lima Hola, les Sabina, who obeyed Vayner Who told you man,
he said Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:22:15 --> 00:22:17
			will speak to every one of you.

00:22:19 --> 00:22:47
			There will not be anyone he won't need between him. And between him and Allah Subhana they will not
be a translator, anybody. You will speak directly with Allah Subhana Allah. Use every, every one of
you. Everyone will speak directly with the loss of Hannah. And Allah subhanho wa Taala. You might
say, Wow, Subhana Allah, there are so many people, how can a law personally speak to everyone all at
once.

00:22:49 --> 00:23:00
			There's billions, and billions of people from the time of profit atomized until the day of judgment,
but Allah will speak to every one of them.

00:23:01 --> 00:23:04
			They will not be a translator between you and Allah.

00:23:05 --> 00:23:08
			But Allah Subhana can do that because He is Allah.

00:23:09 --> 00:23:58
			And he's able to do that. That's because he can hear, we can hear also, but our hearing isn't like
the hearing of Allah. We can see and a lot can see, but our sight and vision is not like the sight
of that the seeing the last one sees because he can see us here. And he can also see the Muslims in
China, the Muslims in India, the Muslims in America, everywhere else at the same time. And he can
hear them at the same time while they're speaking. So loss of a handle Atala is our capable or able
and on the Day of Judgment, He will speak to every one of us individually, not there will not be a
translator between us and Allah for young. I mean, I mean, who and he will look towards the right

00:23:58 --> 00:24:04
			the person all of us, we will and the person on the day of judgment will look towards the right for
life Elia illuma.

00:24:06 --> 00:24:10
			And he was not see anything except for that which he has done. Now that we have the

00:24:11 --> 00:24:20
			ash me I mean, who Fela Elana Adam, he looks towards the left, and all he sees is what he has
already brought forth for himself, when

00:24:21 --> 00:24:24
			he will look towards the front for

00:24:25 --> 00:24:30
			anyone to see except for the hellfire. They'll call a wedgie in front of him.

00:24:31 --> 00:24:49
			fatahna Willow Bishop tomorrow. He says so fear the Hellfire, even even with a small date, just with
a just with half a date. Just with half a date Fiala you might say what's half a date going to help
me but you know, every

00:24:50 --> 00:24:59
			everything that you do, no matter how small it is, don't ever look, degrade or look down upon a good
deed. Don't ask

00:25:00 --> 00:25:22
			I think that a good deed is this is such a small deed No, don't look at it as being small. Because
any deed that you do could be that deed that brings you to paradise. Because the loss of a handle at
Allah does not enter a person paradise because of their deeds alone.

00:25:23 --> 00:25:43
			It is because of the mercy of Allah His mercy. So anything that you If Allah sees the mercy in that
person's heart, he sees sincerity in that person's heart. Maybe that small deed will enter your
paradise even if it's half a date. Let me give you an example. Some of us have heard this story.

00:25:50 --> 00:25:51
			Some of us have heard the story

00:25:53 --> 00:25:53
			of a woman.

00:25:54 --> 00:26:00
			The Prophet sallallahu told us the Hadith in Sahih, Hadith Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. A woman
was walking

00:26:02 --> 00:26:06
			in the desert, she came across a well and she was very thirsty.

00:26:08 --> 00:26:10
			So she entered the world.

00:26:11 --> 00:26:27
			She drank until she was until she was quenched. And then she came out of the well, and she saw a
dog. This dog was so thirsty, that he was licking the grounds around the well.

00:26:28 --> 00:26:40
			It was licking the grounds around the well. And so she said to herself, you know, this dog is just
as thirsty as I was, before I entered the world to drink from it.

00:26:41 --> 00:26:57
			And so she returned to the bottom of the well. She took off her leather socks, and she filled up her
leather socks with water, and she gave the water to the this water to the to the dog and it drank.

00:26:58 --> 00:27:03
			And because of it, Allah forgave her all her sins, and this is a prostitute.

00:27:04 --> 00:27:08
			And in another narration and so a Muslim, Allah entered her paradise.

00:27:09 --> 00:27:21
			Other entered her paradise because of that, shell Islam imitate me commenting on this hadith. He
said, not every prostitute that gives water to a dog will enter Paradise.

00:27:23 --> 00:27:43
			Not every prostitute that enters i was i guess water to a dog went to paradise. Otherwise, we got a
lot of people looking for dogs just kill water handler. I got it me unsaved right. Now, what's the
difference between this prostitute and all the other people have given water to dogs?

00:27:45 --> 00:27:52
			What's the difference? The difference is in the heart. Allah saw the sincerity and mercy in her
heart

00:27:53 --> 00:27:55
			Even towards an animal

00:27:56 --> 00:27:58
			that was indeed

00:27:59 --> 00:28:01
			the sincerity was there.

00:28:02 --> 00:28:16
			The mercy was there. No Allah subhanho wa Taala said it ha moment is off. You have Himachal Memphis
sama. Have mercy upon those who are on earth, and the one who is in the heavens will have mercy upon
you.

00:28:17 --> 00:28:26
			And so every deal, don't belittle a good deed the Prophet sallallahu Sallam said, Let the rotten
Emil narrow fisheye wallow and Takahashi

00:28:28 --> 00:28:34
			said don't ever be literally a good deed. Even if you were to just meet your brother with a smile on
your face.

00:28:36 --> 00:28:59
			Don't look at as dead as as being small. Another person entered paradise because of because he
cleared the way the road because he saw it was obstructing people's the people's way. And so he did
that because of that Allah entered impair forgave him enter Paradise. This is another map. These are
deeds. Maybe when you're in the masjid.

00:29:00 --> 00:29:38
			You're walking by and you're seeing this little, you know, maybe it's a little bit dirty, and you
clean it but nobody's there you clean it instead of waiting for other people to do. So instead of
going to complaining why isn't the person responsible to clean the bathroom? Why isn't the cleaning.
Instead of doing that you do it yourself. Maybe because of that you enter Paradise. So loss of
power, he sees that mercy. And maybe from that time on he'll guide you. And Allah subhanho wa Taala
will bring out you know what will give you the feel and guidance to do all that which is good, which
will then eventually enter your agenda and paradise. And so

00:29:39 --> 00:29:45
			when we give something also be consistent, even if it's a little

00:29:46 --> 00:29:47
			even if it's a little

00:29:49 --> 00:29:52
			whatever you have, give it consistently

00:29:53 --> 00:29:58
			because the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said hire a man at one Mojave and

00:29:59 --> 00:29:59
			so when

00:30:00 --> 00:30:09
			Have something the best deeds are that which is consistent. The best deeds are that which are
consistent, even if it's just a small amount of it.

00:30:10 --> 00:30:18
			So be consistent consistency is very important. So make it conviction in your heart from now on

00:30:19 --> 00:30:46
			to give for the sake of Allah every day. Even if it's just half a pound, or less than that. You get
just give, give a little bit as much as you can but be consistent. Even if it's just one pound maybe
today you can't give you forget more next day tomorrow I'll put two in, be consistent, because if
you do if you're going to do that, let me tell you the benefits.

00:30:48 --> 00:30:53
			Let me tell you the benefit of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said every morning,

00:30:54 --> 00:30:58
			every morning, there are two angels.

00:30:59 --> 00:31:02
			Their job is to make dua

00:31:04 --> 00:31:44
			Their job is to supplicate you know the supplication of the angels are accepted. They appear
creatures of Allah Subhana obedient creations of Allah subhanho wa Taala, who do not disobey Him,
whatever they whatever they order to do, they do it correctly, properly, and they're given the power
to do whatever responsibilities that they have been given. Every morning, there are two angels. One,
the prophet Psalm says one of them says, a low hum equally the motherfucking holla ha, Allah, give
those who spend more. In other words, give them give them more.

00:31:45 --> 00:31:59
			Those who spend, give them more Allah then the second one says Allah magically the moon seeking
talofa. And Oh Allah, whoever is miser and holds back and does not spend,

00:32:00 --> 00:32:02
			then destroy his wealth.

00:32:04 --> 00:32:30
			So every morning, there's no third, there is no third category here. You either fall into this
category of somebody who spends that day or somebody who didn't give. You're either amongst those
who can give or didn't give. If you don't have money and wealth and so forth, at least help out with
something. be productive, be helpful, help other Muslims help other people, even a dog.

00:32:31 --> 00:32:34
			Even a non Muslim, you might support non Muslim you have a dog

00:32:36 --> 00:32:37
			IGNOU

00:32:38 --> 00:32:56
			if Nigel Escalante when the great scholars of Islam, why do you think he said the Hadith Hadith of
the Hadith of the prostitute. So this hadith shows that as humans as Muslims, we are ordered to be
kind and helpful, even towards dogs.

00:32:57 --> 00:33:22
			So what's more, what's the what's above animals, humans, so even if they're not Muslims, we ordered
to be productive and helpful. And we were supposed to help them. So if the reward is even there,
when a person is insincere, whether they're Muslims or non Muslims, but if you have Muslims that are
in need, of course, they should take priority, but be somebody who helps be somebody who gives,
otherwise you will fall under the other category.

00:33:23 --> 00:33:32
			The one who holds back, the one who doesn't spend and the angel is making dua against that person.

00:33:34 --> 00:33:38
			So if you're consistent every day, then Allah will increase your wealth.

00:33:40 --> 00:34:19
			Allah will increase your wealth. Because this is a promise from Allah subhanho wa Taala. A promise
from the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam lost the Messenger of Allah sallallahu
Sallam said, Manasa Melon and sadaqa any sort of anything that you spend will not be decreased. It's
not decreased by charity, your wealth, you might say, well, it's decreased. But in essence, Allah
will bless your wealth, and you will, you will have more, you will have more and you will be able to
be blessed also. And if your wealth is blessed, then it will be helpful for you. Because if wealth,
money wealth and children,

00:34:20 --> 00:34:23
			if there's no blessing in it,

00:34:24 --> 00:34:25
			then it will be harmful for you.

00:34:27 --> 00:34:31
			Let's say you you make, let's say you make 2000 pounds

00:34:32 --> 00:34:34
			2000 pounds a month.

00:34:36 --> 00:34:53
			If you have no blessing in those 2000 pounds, some things will happen. Maybe this you know you'll
get something will happen to your car, this and that and you'll lose your money. Maybe your business
will not be profitable, profitable. And so you will start losing.

00:34:54 --> 00:34:59
			But if you were to spend a lot of it, put blessings in it, and then you will not have to go to all
that stress.

00:35:00 --> 00:35:44
			Even if you had 1000 pounds a month, you would still have money left over at the end of the month
after paying all the bills. But if you didn't have blessing in your wealth, maybe you might be
making 5000 pounds. But at the end of the month, you're spending more than what you have. And so
you're in the minus, you're in the red, instead of being being in the positive, because there's no
blessing, this will happen that will happen, this person will cheat you and things like that,
because there's no blessing, and it all goes back. And so ask Allah subhanho wa Taala, to give you
both, which is, which is clean and pure, and bless the wealth that you have, in the same way with

00:35:44 --> 00:35:59
			your children, if you have blessed if Allah has blessed, the children that you have, then they will
be helpful and they will be good towards you. And they will not cause you stress. Like there are
some people on Saturday nights, they don't know where their children are at.

00:36:00 --> 00:36:17
			They don't know where they have gone. And they can't sleep that night. But there are others who are
at home, their children are cleaning their houses for them. They're helping them do the dishes and
cleaning up and washing up every day.

00:36:18 --> 00:36:59
			And they're very helpful and make them happy. When you look at your children, you're happy.
Sometimes some people they look at their children. And they're sad because of the condition that
they're in. Because the problems that they bring home, because of the problems that they have with
the authorities, because of the problems of that they have with their friends. And they might be
bringing in drugs and things like that, and causing problems and in the family. Because there is no
Baraka. And so if you want to stay away, and be safe from all that spend for the sake of Allah,
because when you do that, it shows that you're thankful and you're grateful, of this blessing. And

00:36:59 --> 00:37:29
			when you give, especially as a cat, when the cat is not your money, that belongs to the poor, it
belongs to those who are in need. There are people that you have to give to give that to Allah gives
you that wealth as a test for you. And that's why it's called Zakat, it means purification. Because
it purifies your wealth, the wealth that you have now is mixed with other people's wealth, also.

00:37:32 --> 00:37:38
			The 2.5% that you have, technically is not yours.

00:37:40 --> 00:37:59
			You might have it in your account, you might have it in your safe, you might have it with in your
possession, but it's not yours, Allah has given you that as a test. And if you do not clean, give
that to others, then you file your wealth, all of it.

00:38:01 --> 00:38:16
			And it will not be here. And that's why you have to give this a cat when the time comes. And when
you have the amount you have to give it and it's not yours. And you might say why couldn't allow
just give it directly to the other person?

00:38:18 --> 00:38:33
			Why did he have to go through me? This is my I want to keep all of this. Why did he have to think
directly he couldn't, it couldn't, couldn't have done that. Yes, he could have but he's merciful
towards you. It's his wealth. And he wants you to give so you can get the reward.

00:38:34 --> 00:38:43
			So you can get the reward. So you give it so you can get the reward because he's merciful towards
you. And it builds love in the community also.

00:38:44 --> 00:39:01
			It's so that you can love each other, and you can help each other. And you can feel that you are
one. And together the rich and the poor, the haves and the have nots. And so you can build that
relation and strengthen yourself. And now you have more friends,

00:39:02 --> 00:39:28
			the rich are not envious of you are jealous of you. Because you have that well, the poor, they're
not envious of you or jealous of you because you're helping them out. And that's why the first thing
that you do is you help people in your community. As long as you have people in your community that
are in need, you should not send it out to Pakistan, or to India, or to Africa.

00:39:29 --> 00:40:00
			If you have people in your community that are in need, you have to take care of the people who are
close to you first. unless those people they're related to you, relatives. Because when you give
sadaqa or the cat to those who are related to you, as long as they're not your parents or your
children, or grandchildren or grandparents you can give to your aunts and uncles and cousins. And
it's better to give to them because you'll get double the reward. But you have to take care of the
people in the community first. Why? Because

00:40:00 --> 00:40:25
			The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, he told me I was in New Java. He said, You are going to the
people the book when he was sending him to Yemen, he said indika tattingstone women Al Kitab. You
will go to the people the book value, our limited room LA, shahadat Allah, Allah, you're going to
meet the people the book that the first thing you call them to be Shahada, Allah Allah, Allah,
Allah.

00:40:26 --> 00:40:30
			Allah Allah Allah call them to the oneness of God.

00:40:31 --> 00:40:41
			And if they follow you and obey you in that aspect, then tell them that Allah has made obligatory
upon them, the five daily prayers

00:40:42 --> 00:40:48
			and if they obey you in that aspect, then tell them then take tell them

00:40:49 --> 00:41:19
			to that Allah has made incumbent upon them the Zakat to do mean attorney he him what to do Allahu
para he him, taken from the rich amongst them, and return to the poor amongst them. There were many
people who are poor in in, in Medina, did he say take the money and give to the poor? Did he stop at
that? No. He said take, did he say take it and send it to Medina.

00:41:21 --> 00:41:31
			Now he didn't say take it and send it to Medina, even though there are many poor people in Medina,
but he said, Take it from the poor from the rich amongst them, and give to the poor amongst them.

00:41:32 --> 00:42:14
			So that you can build this relation, so that the community can be stronger, take care of the people
who are near you, before you before you go on to the next level. So that's why some of the scholars
are of the opinion that as long as you have poor people around, you cannot send it to others and
other country. What do some scholars have made the exception if they're related to you, then you can
but otherwise, you should keep it in the area where you live. Everyone should take care of their
their friends and friends and family that are close together first, and the community members
because you see them every day. And it strengthens that bond. And so there's Hickman there's wisdom

00:42:14 --> 00:42:29
			in it. And so you have to spend as long as you have because as I mentioned, you have to do so
because the prophets have a lot of them said that enhancing Kabbalah hums take advantage of five
things before five

00:42:31 --> 00:42:50
			Shabaab al Shabaab aka Kabbalah harmonic, your youth, before old age, well, and then he said well
the NACA problem and your wealth, before you become poor, your wealth before before you become
become poor. And when a person

00:42:51 --> 00:42:55
			gives, for the sake of Allah Subhana Allah,

00:42:56 --> 00:43:16
			you know, this, if you're, if you're giving for the sake of Allah Subhana, Allah, Allah, Allah
Subhana Allah will increase it for you. But one of the main things, too, if you want to increase
your wealth is having toquilla having fear of loss, fear of Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:43:17 --> 00:43:20
			let me give you a story, a very close friend of mine.

00:43:21 --> 00:43:22
			He had a job.

00:43:23 --> 00:43:29
			And he was he was working. He had been working for a very long time at this particular place and his
company.

00:43:31 --> 00:44:06
			Every Friday, he would go to play Juma go play Friday prayer. He had no problem with the supervisor,
the supervisor had no problem with him going even though it was these were like Fridays usually are
very hectic times everybody's trying to catch up and finish the weeks, weeks, jobs, weeks, duties
and so forth. And so especially towards the end of the day, they need the workers more you need to
work harder to finish everything up. So you can leave and everybody wants to. Or some people just
want to finish up quickly so they can go a little bit earlier. And this is how it is. And so

00:44:07 --> 00:44:18
			everything was going smoothly. They had they had didn't have any problems until they change
supervisors. So you had a new person that was in charge and the new boss, this new boss

00:44:20 --> 00:44:24
			told him seeing him in the you know, always leaving after Juma. He said, You know, that's not fair.

00:44:26 --> 00:44:29
			You have other people here and this is the most hectic time of the whole week.

00:44:31 --> 00:44:50
			Like we have so many things to do during this time. We want to finish up whatever we need to finish
up for the week before we before the weekend starts. And so at the end of the last year, the last
hours of Friday, the this is the most hectic time we need you more than any other time of the week.
And then you're gonna leave

00:44:52 --> 00:44:54
			me It's not fair for all the other people.

00:44:55 --> 00:45:00
			It's not fair for other people that don't you know if you if you have to

00:45:00 --> 00:45:02
			Go, once you can't you go any other day

00:45:03 --> 00:45:26
			says no Friday prayers, Friday prayer, we can't go any other time of the day. That's the only time
the only time that we that we should that's mandatory, obligatory upon the upon us, the other times
are recommended for us to go it's better for us to go, but this is mandatory for us to go. So he
said, If that's the case, I think you should be looking for another job.

00:45:28 --> 00:46:09
			And so he said, No, I, you know, I have to, I can't This is my religion, I can't do anything. So
he's thinking this, he has a job, that's very hard, it's very specific, you know, it's just, it's a,
it's a type of field that, you know, you can just go anywhere, especially, you know, in the Seattle
area, it's related to aeronautics. And so you can't really, you know, these jobs are not, it's not
like, you can just hop on to the next, you know, next next door and then apply there or anything
like that. There's not, they're not that many around. So he said, you know, if you can't do this,
maybe you should look for another place to work, another job to work. So he says, What can I do this

00:46:09 --> 00:46:10
			is my religion,

00:46:11 --> 00:46:13
			and says, Now you have a choice to make. Then

00:46:14 --> 00:46:23
			he said, Now you have the choice to make. So the next week comes. And he says, I'm just just letting
you know, that you have a choice, you can go if you want.

00:46:24 --> 00:46:25
			Sorry about that.

00:46:28 --> 00:46:47
			When you He said, You have a choice, you either can, you can go. But you know, don't be surprised if
you're gonna, you're gonna see this pink slip, you know, there's a pink note right there, that means
your fire. So if you can go so he's, he's in between a rock and a hard place. He's thinking, am I
supposed to find another job.

00:46:48 --> 00:47:12
			But you know, I have to fulfill the responsibility obligation that Alaska has put upon me. So he
decides to go, he just goes, and he comes back, thinking that he's going to be fired. Sick as the
boss told them, so don't be surprised. And so his friend says, you know, boss wants to see his
office says, Oh, this is it.

00:47:16 --> 00:47:18
			This is it comes to his office.

00:47:20 --> 00:47:20
			And

00:47:21 --> 00:47:36
			he's thinking he's thinking all kinds of thoughts. How am I gonna support my family? How am I gonna
like, you know, what am I gonna do now? You know, I've been we've been working for a long time, so
that his boss says, Listen, I didn't really thinking a lot. I've been thinking a lot.

00:47:38 --> 00:47:41
			And I've been looking over what, you know what Islam really is.

00:47:42 --> 00:47:48
			And, you know, I find out that you have to pray more than just Fridays. You guys have to pray five
times a day.

00:47:50 --> 00:48:08
			Well, that's take that takes dedication there. That takes some serious dedication. And I, I just, I
was reading about it. And I just feel that, you know, from now on, if you want to pray the other
five prayers, also, there's a mosque nearby, you can go.

00:48:09 --> 00:48:22
			And he's like, he's like, he's cleaning his ears to hear what I just heard. Like, this guy was
really harsh on him and all of a sudden, all of a sudden, he comes back, he's Tell him to go pray
the regular prayers to

00:48:24 --> 00:48:40
			go regular prayers also, like if you if it doesn't take long, maybe 15 minutes or so it's okay. You
know, just just come back. If you want to need to make up anything, just, you know, just make up
some time later if you want. Okay, I understand. And I understand, but you see this person.

00:48:41 --> 00:48:42
			He had to make a decision

00:48:44 --> 00:48:48
			that when he made the correct decision, that's when a lot made everything easy for him.

00:48:49 --> 00:49:23
			When I tested him, to see if he truly feared Allah, that's why Allah subhanho wa Taala says, while
may yet tequila Allahumma. Raja, whoever fears Allah, Allah will open away for him. He will make
things easy for him. He'll open away for him. What do we have Zukerman isolators. And he will give
him provision from the hip from where he never thought of before. But there this month will may yet
tequila here. This is conditional. That means you have to fear a lot first.

00:49:25 --> 00:49:59
			You have to fear a lot first. And when you pass that test, then you will start seeing things. Let's
say you're in a job that you know it's hard on. But if you remain in that job, if you remain in that
job and just asking Allah Allah Allah, Allah will not accept your do I was was serious how you say I
love and accept your why. Why because your clothing is from her arm. Your food is from her arm. And
you grew from her arm because this wealth is from her arm. So how can I accept it from you? You got
to get out of there. First.

00:50:01 --> 00:50:26
			And show that you fear Allah, then Allah open away free because if Allah already showed you the
other halaal jobs, let's say you got a three other options, hey, I leave, it's easy. But you don't
see anything yet you will not see anything yet. It's when you decide you say I fear Allah, La Ilaha
Illa, Allah, you come out and then you start seeing these job openings. But before that, you will
not see any job openings.

00:50:27 --> 00:50:43
			That's why a lot of test us and also when you're with wealth, you spend it for the sake of law. And
low increase it for you show that you're thankful by using that wealth in the obedience of Allah.

00:50:44 --> 00:51:05
			Don't spend it in Haram. And you know, in this society, we this society, you know how we got to
here, did this, this, this, this situation that we're in, because this society teaches us to buy
things we don't need? With money, we don't have to please people we don't even like

00:51:07 --> 00:51:20
			you don't even like them. But you're trying to keep up with them all the time. You know, you're
trying to compete with them. Do you like them? Not really. But you're trying to get more than them.
You're wasting your money doing it at time.

00:51:22 --> 00:51:23
			And you're buying things you don't even need.

00:51:25 --> 00:51:31
			Before you know earlier, old days before all this TV and things like that. People used to only buy
things they needed.

00:51:32 --> 00:51:41
			They didn't buy things they didn't need. But now you know, you have to have, you know, before
somebody had a TV, right?

00:51:42 --> 00:51:47
			A TV. It's like, wow, you got a TV. It's like black and white. 12 inches.

00:51:48 --> 00:51:56
			Right? It's like the whole neighborhood has come and look at it, you know, next thing you know,
Richard's got color TV.

00:51:58 --> 00:52:12
			tv. Next thing you know, this guy's got a big screen. Like 52 inches. 52 inches. I got 52 inches.
While you know the other guy got HDTV. I can see the grass when I watch Manchester United.

00:52:15 --> 00:52:48
			I can see every strand of grass. Yeah, I needed Why do you need to see the grass? 20 years ago for
the last 10 years. You never complained about not saying the grass. Now you started complaining. I
gotta see the grass. I see every strand of grass. It can't be just like green there. It's got to be
like, more clear. I gotta have HDTV. Before we had internet you know dial up, right? You go see Do
you see some of the you know that sound that comes on? Sometimes the commercials. And the adverts
they say is your Internet's now.

00:52:50 --> 00:52:58
			We got DSL. Next thing you got high speed internet. Well, you know, it wasn't slow until you said so
yeah, now slow.

00:52:59 --> 00:53:15
			Before for the last 10 years, nobody complained that it was really really slow. Now everyone's
complaining now needed before nobody needed to use these phones, mobile phones. Now I can't live
without them all those people before they die because of it.

00:53:17 --> 00:53:28
			In fact, we memorize telephone numbers. Now we don't memorize any phone numbers since we got the
cell phone. So these are things there are many things that the society tells you that you need.

00:53:29 --> 00:53:52
			But there are many things you don't need. So live simple, whatever you have, show that you are
sincere by giving it for the sake of Allah, anything you love. You give it for the sake of Allah.
That's how you keep it. That's how you bring it with you. Because we are traveling and we're moving.
I'm going to give you an example. Imagine

00:53:53 --> 00:54:01
			you're living in a house. So you're going to move to the new a new house. You're going to move to a
new house. When you move to that new house.

00:54:02 --> 00:54:34
			You don't take anything with you. Everything you leave back for whoever buys this one keep it but
you can't afford to buy anything new. Now if your friend comes to you, what do you What's he going
to tell you? So what's wrong with you for what? You can leave your bed or sofa? Everything at the
other house when you need to bring it What are you want to bring it now? Are you planning to live
here for a long time or not? Yeah, this is probably this is my permanent place from now on. You
don't want anything.

00:54:36 --> 00:54:38
			You don't want to see us a fool

00:54:40 --> 00:54:43
			to get this thing checked out. A little cuckoo a period

00:54:44 --> 00:54:46
			of you says if somebody did that,

00:54:47 --> 00:54:50
			for us, anything that you have.

00:54:51 --> 00:55:00
			If you want to take it with you to the hereafter if you want to put it in that moving lorry and
bring it over. You give it for the sake of

00:55:00 --> 00:55:01
			And then you'll see it in here after

00:55:03 --> 00:55:07
			suspend before that's taken away from you before you don't have any choice.

00:55:08 --> 00:55:15
			You might not have a choice after that. when death comes you won't have a choice. When sickness
comes, you won't have a choice.

00:55:16 --> 00:55:30
			And when you're, you know when calamities afflict you might not have that choice. So give before
poverty afflicts you, which is Camila masala Allah Allah narina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi wa
