00:00:07 --> 00:00:09
			Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:00:11 --> 00:00:17
			gives us opportunities after opportunities to have our sin be forgiven for

00:00:19 --> 00:00:21
			the Messenger of Allah. Allah alayhi wa sallam.

00:00:23 --> 00:00:24
			He said

00:00:26 --> 00:00:27
			a salvato comes.

00:00:29 --> 00:00:30
			The five daily prayers

00:00:32 --> 00:00:36
			were Ramadan Illa Ramadan and for one Ramadan to the next

00:00:37 --> 00:00:46
			and what do you do Mattila Juma and from one Juma Friday to the next. He says McAfee errata, Lima by
noon,

00:00:47 --> 00:00:48
			Eastern a better Kabbalah.

00:00:50 --> 00:00:52
			These are explanations for those

00:00:53 --> 00:00:56
			explanations between them.

00:00:57 --> 00:01:00
			For those who avoid major sense,

00:01:01 --> 00:01:05
			meaning Allah subhanho wa Taala gave us the five daily prayers.

00:01:06 --> 00:01:10
			And you might say Why? Why is it that

00:01:11 --> 00:01:15
			Allah subhanho wa Taala has has asked us

00:01:16 --> 00:01:21
			to pray in the morning. And then at noon time and then at sunset, nighttime.

00:01:23 --> 00:01:31
			Why did Allah subhanho wa Taala put these dots acts of worship at different intervals in different
times of the day.

00:01:32 --> 00:01:36
			And also we have different types of worship.

00:01:37 --> 00:01:43
			Every time we have every week, we have a Juma

00:01:44 --> 00:01:55
			and then every year we have Ramadan, these these are pitstops for us, stops where we can reveal
ourselves.

00:01:56 --> 00:02:03
			Like when you're traveling, you're not going to be able to reach your destiny and reach your
destination. If you do not refuel,

00:02:04 --> 00:02:16
			sometimes you have to stop. You have to review your yourself your car, you might need a little bit
of rest before you continue on if it's a long launch a very, very long journey.

00:02:17 --> 00:02:20
			So in this life,

00:02:21 --> 00:02:22
			that we're living right now,

00:02:24 --> 00:02:25
			this is a journey.

00:02:26 --> 00:02:28
			But what is the fuel

00:02:29 --> 00:02:31
			that keeps us going

00:02:32 --> 00:02:36
			that helps us to continue on this journey

00:02:37 --> 00:03:04
			to Allah subhanho wa Taala and in the end in sha Allah to the paradise of Allah subhanho wa Taala
what is that fuel that we can help us continue going? Because even our cars if we do not refuel our
cars, they will stall and stop in the middle. So in life the same thing. That's why the Messenger of
Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said these five daily prayers, these are pitstops so that we can
reveal ourselves with what

00:03:08 --> 00:03:10
			the daily pitstops

00:03:11 --> 00:03:12
			are the five daily prayers

00:03:14 --> 00:03:15
			the weekly pitstop

00:03:16 --> 00:03:18
			is the Juma the Friday prayer

00:03:20 --> 00:03:21
			the yearly pittstown

00:03:23 --> 00:03:25
			is Ramadan

00:03:26 --> 00:03:28
			and the once in a lifetime pitstop

00:03:29 --> 00:03:30
			is Hajj

00:03:31 --> 00:03:42
			and these pitstops we have to reveal ourselves with Taka lies of Hanoi Tana what is a word for in a
higher Azad a taqwa

00:03:44 --> 00:04:01
			what is a word do take provisions. You take provisions for your journey but the best provision you
can take is duck will lie subhana wa tada and that's why during this month this is the month of
refueling ourselves.

00:04:02 --> 00:04:13
			refueling ourselves with Taku Allahu Allah. And that's why Allah subhanho wa Taala he says that in
the Rose will be like Amina shaytani r Rajim

00:04:19 --> 00:04:23
			levena m n o ku Chiba, la coo coo

00:04:25 --> 00:04:29
			coo coo coo coo coo coo t

00:04:31 --> 00:04:39
			tabali con la la tiempo en O you who believe

00:04:41 --> 00:04:43
			fasting has been prescribed upon you,

00:04:44 --> 00:04:53
			just as it was prescribed upon those before you so that you may in hopes that you may acquire DACA

00:04:55 --> 00:04:58
			in hopes that you may acquire thukpa without DACA

00:04:59 --> 00:04:59
			we will not

00:05:00 --> 00:05:07
			Be able to go and continue in this life in a way that Allah subhanho wa Taala is pleased with,

00:05:08 --> 00:05:13
			we will not be able to reveal ourselves because most people

00:05:14 --> 00:05:17
			when they are sick, physically,

00:05:19 --> 00:05:26
			there are aware, and all of us were, when we become sick, we're aware we feel weakened,

00:05:27 --> 00:05:38
			we feel sometimes we can't even get out of bed. Because we're so tired or weakened by whatever
ailments we may have.

00:05:39 --> 00:05:49
			So we have no energy, we can't, we can no longer continue to do the things that we normally do when
we become sick.

00:05:51 --> 00:06:05
			And we're more more likely to try to correct ourselves or will to see a doctor or to take the
appropriate medicine. So that we will be again,

00:06:07 --> 00:06:09
			healthy and well.

00:06:10 --> 00:06:12
			But there are many people

00:06:14 --> 00:06:15
			who are sick.

00:06:17 --> 00:06:19
			Many people are sick.

00:06:20 --> 00:06:22
			Yeah, they don't realize they're sick.

00:06:26 --> 00:06:34
			Because in life, we have the physical aspect. But there's also the spiritual aspect of our lives.

00:06:36 --> 00:06:41
			And if we're, if our hearts become second,

00:06:42 --> 00:06:47
			then we no longer enjoy the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:06:48 --> 00:06:49
			When it's time to pray,

00:06:51 --> 00:06:52
			it's a burden.

00:06:53 --> 00:06:54
			Just like when we

00:06:56 --> 00:06:57
			are sick,

00:06:58 --> 00:07:02
			it's difficult to get out of bed or even go to the bathroom.

00:07:03 --> 00:07:06
			Why? Because we have no strength.

00:07:07 --> 00:07:08
			And sometimes we need help,

00:07:10 --> 00:07:12
			doing just the regular things we do every day.

00:07:15 --> 00:07:20
			But for those whose hearts have become stained with sins,

00:07:21 --> 00:07:30
			whose hearts have become sick and because of sins, and diseases, because there are diseases of the
heart also.

00:07:34 --> 00:07:36
			Then it's it becomes very difficult

00:07:37 --> 00:07:38
			for such a people

00:07:40 --> 00:07:42
			to stand up to worship Allah

00:07:44 --> 00:07:45
			to recite the Quran,

00:07:48 --> 00:07:49
			it becomes difficult

00:07:50 --> 00:07:52
			to wake up for fudger

00:07:54 --> 00:07:55
			it becomes difficult

00:07:56 --> 00:07:57
			to give in charity.

00:07:59 --> 00:08:01
			It becomes difficult

00:08:03 --> 00:08:06
			to do that which is pleasing to Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:08:07 --> 00:08:10
			why because spiritually we're sick.

00:08:12 --> 00:08:18
			And that's why will you have to realize you have first before you can even correct

00:08:19 --> 00:08:24
			before you can even find a cure for what you have.

00:08:25 --> 00:08:37
			You have to first and foremost realize your diagnose yourself and see and realize you are present in
the realization that you are sick, like spiritually, we need help.

00:08:38 --> 00:08:43
			And then insha Allah when you find the right the appropriate medicine for it.

00:08:45 --> 00:08:46
			So how do you know

00:08:48 --> 00:08:49
			how can you tell

00:08:51 --> 00:08:56
			whether you're spiritually well or not, whether you're spiritually healthy or not.

00:08:57 --> 00:09:00
			Because in order for us to reach our destination,

00:09:02 --> 00:09:04
			we our hearts need to be healthy.

00:09:06 --> 00:09:06
			And our

00:09:08 --> 00:09:15
			our hearts need to be healthy. We need to be healthy also spiritually to reach our destination.

00:09:18 --> 00:09:23
			Yo mulayam Pharaoh Manuela by noon on that day,

00:09:24 --> 00:09:31
			well, you are what your children in your wealth and children and wealth will not avail you 11 attala

00:09:33 --> 00:09:37
			except for those who come forth towards Allah. Be Calvin Selim.

00:09:38 --> 00:09:43
			Except for those who come forth with a healthy sound heart,

00:09:45 --> 00:09:47
			you will not be able to reach your destination.

00:09:49 --> 00:09:51
			And that's why it's very important for us

00:09:52 --> 00:09:58
			to take care of our hearts also, spiritually to make sure that we have cleansed it

00:10:01 --> 00:10:02
			And so how can we know?

00:10:03 --> 00:10:11
			What are some of the signs that our heart not physically the spiritual aspect is not healthy?

00:10:13 --> 00:10:14
			What are some of the signs?

00:10:16 --> 00:10:18
			Well, if we find ourselves

00:10:19 --> 00:10:21
			if we find ourselves

00:10:23 --> 00:10:27
			looking at a buy dots and the worship of Allah

00:10:28 --> 00:10:30
			as being a major burden,

00:10:32 --> 00:10:33
			then we need to do something about it.

00:10:35 --> 00:10:48
			Why? Because healthy hearts and pure and clean and healthy hearts yearn towards the worship of Allah
subhanho wa Taala they look forward to the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:10:49 --> 00:10:52
			that's why man of na fan radi Allahu anhu he said,

00:10:53 --> 00:10:57
			la hora, Toluca Masha, Allah Mira Bina,

00:10:58 --> 00:11:04
			if our hearts were clean and pure, we would never get enough of the word of our Lord.

00:11:06 --> 00:11:08
			If our hearts were pure,

00:11:09 --> 00:11:16
			when we sit down to read the Quran, we want to continue to recite and learn.

00:11:18 --> 00:11:19
			And when we

00:11:20 --> 00:11:27
			are not reciting the Quran, we look forward to the next opportunity. The next time that we can sit
down and recite the Quran.

00:11:28 --> 00:11:31
			We continue to come back to it.

00:11:33 --> 00:11:35
			But if our hearts are sick,

00:11:36 --> 00:11:41
			we try Yes, we sit down. But we are easily distracted.

00:11:44 --> 00:11:45
			Because we're not immersed

00:11:47 --> 00:11:57
			in the beauty of the Quran, and so are easy to distract that we sit for four or five minutes. And we
want to leave already. We want to do this and we want to do that.

00:11:58 --> 00:11:59
			And so

00:12:00 --> 00:12:02
			if you want to check yourself

00:12:03 --> 00:12:06
			if you want to check if your heart is healthy or not.

00:12:08 --> 00:12:10
			If you want to know the condition of your heart,

00:12:11 --> 00:12:14
			then check how you are with the Quran.

00:12:15 --> 00:12:17
			Check how you are with the Quran.

00:12:18 --> 00:12:20
			You love to recite it,

00:12:21 --> 00:12:26
			you look forward to reciting it then your heart inshallah is healthy.

00:12:27 --> 00:12:29
			Another thing is

00:12:30 --> 00:12:36
			when we stand up for prayer or when it's time to pray, how are we when it's time to pray.

00:12:38 --> 00:12:51
			Because if our hearts were healthy, we would learn and we would look forward to the next prayer when
one prayer is finished. And we would come to the masjid early to wait for that next prayer.

00:12:52 --> 00:12:57
			Because that's where we find enjoyment. That's where we find pleasure.

00:12:58 --> 00:13:04
			That's where we find a peace of mind. Where that's where we're at peace.

00:13:05 --> 00:13:15
			When we're praying or when we are in the masjid, in the house of Allah subhanho wa Taala and that's
why the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he said,

00:13:17 --> 00:13:23
			Sabbath on cyber to you the Luma lofi literally yoma level in level

00:13:24 --> 00:13:27
			seven, there are seven Humala shade,

00:13:28 --> 00:13:29
			on the day of judgment,

00:13:31 --> 00:13:40
			on the day in which there is no shade except for the shade of a law and one of which is one whose
heart is connected to the masjid.

00:13:42 --> 00:14:17
			What does it mean by one whose heart is connected to the masjid? It means that he looks forward to
the prayer not only just to prayer but coming to the masjid to the house of Allah subhanho wa Taala
to pray because this is where he finds enjoyment and this is where he finds peace. When he leaves
the masjid, it's like fish. It's like a fish out of water. He just wants to come back because that's
where you're comfortable. your comfort zone is the masjid. your comfort zone is the prayer. So if
you want to find

00:14:18 --> 00:14:21
			whether your heart is clean and pure or not,

00:14:22 --> 00:14:24
			then check yourself also with your prayer.

00:14:25 --> 00:14:30
			How are you when it is time to pray? Do you look forward to it or not?

00:14:31 --> 00:14:32
			And so that's why

00:14:34 --> 00:14:35
			if we want

00:14:36 --> 00:14:48
			to recite the Quran and cleanse our hearts, we also cleanse our hearts with the Quran because the
Quran is a cure for all ailments physical and spiritual,

00:14:49 --> 00:14:54
			inner, external and inner ailments

00:14:55 --> 00:14:59
			reciting the Quran is a cure for those ailments.

00:15:00 --> 00:15:03
			So it's it might be difficult at the very beginning.

00:15:04 --> 00:15:08
			But once you cleanse your heart and you get used to it, and it takes sometimes a long time,

00:15:09 --> 00:15:44
			why? Because the prophets of Allah Allah He was Adam said, when a servant of mine when a servant of
Allah, when a servant commits a sin, there's a dot that is placed upon his heart, a black dot, dot
that's place, new kita Lv looked at and soda, a black spot is put upon his heart. And when he
commits another sin, another black spot is put on there. And if he doesn't repent, it continues to
be black and to the point where he can no longer recognize good from bad and right from wrong.

00:15:46 --> 00:16:01
			And that's why you wonder sometimes in this society, when they are being lied to, left and right, by
the media, by the governments by the oppressive people, they continue to believe them and don't see
the truth.

00:16:02 --> 00:16:09
			Or maybe it was because their heart can no longer distinguish what's good and bad, and what's right
and what's wrong, because they are a people

00:16:10 --> 00:16:12
			who are for suck who are sinners.

00:16:13 --> 00:16:19
			But when you repent to Allah subhanho wa Taala, you're scrubbing that away. But sometimes,

00:16:21 --> 00:16:23
			sometimes it takes a while.

00:16:24 --> 00:16:42
			Because there's so much, there's so much, it's so stained, that takes a while. And it's difficult at
the very beginning, when you're trying to cleanse yourself, you have to work a little bit extra
hard. But you know, if it's white and just a small spot immediately,

00:16:43 --> 00:16:53
			when you clean it immediately, it's easy to cleanse. And that's why if you don't cleanse it
immediately, it has a permanent effect on a person.

00:16:56 --> 00:17:00
			Those who do not repent to Allah on an on a regular basis.

00:17:02 --> 00:17:07
			their sins have been in a permanent effect in their lives.

00:17:08 --> 00:17:10
			In New Jersey Rahim Allah, he said,

00:17:12 --> 00:17:13
			sins,

00:17:14 --> 00:17:17
			when not repented from immediately

00:17:18 --> 00:17:20
			have a permanent effect.

00:17:21 --> 00:17:24
			Because it's like

00:17:25 --> 00:17:53
			oil when it stains, your clothes, your cloth, oil, when it stains your clothing, your material, if
you don't cleanse it immediately, it has a permanent effect. And you see that stain there. But if
you are immediately when that's when it gets on your clothing, you wash it immediately, then you can
wipe it and it's easier to do so. And that's why we have to do so every day, repent to Allah, and
make sure we are consistent

00:17:55 --> 00:17:57
			in of course in our prayers.

00:17:59 --> 00:18:01
			Because if we're not,

00:18:03 --> 00:18:05
			we don't fit pray the five daily prayers

00:18:07 --> 00:18:12
			then a heart becomes hardened. And it also becomes stained.

00:18:13 --> 00:18:20
			And that's why there are some people who say, you know, so and so has a clean heart. So and so has a
clean heart

00:18:21 --> 00:18:33
			has a good heart. But that person doesn't pray. Yeah. But they have a clean heart. Do you know what
that's like saying? It's like saying so and so has a clean mouth but they never brush their teeth.

00:18:35 --> 00:18:39
			You can't say I brushed my teeth two days ago.

00:18:40 --> 00:18:42
			It's going to be it's so clean. No.

00:18:43 --> 00:19:16
			You have to do so every day. And I'm not even talking about every day once a day No. You have to do
so over and over again because as soon as you eat as soon as you as you as soon as it's four or five
hours since the last time you brush your teeth sometimes the the smell again the Firefox plasma
again comes from your mouth already. And that's all you have to clean it every day you can say oh, I
already cleaned my I already brush my teeth yesterday. No Did you brush your teeth this morning?

00:19:17 --> 00:19:18
			If you did it,

00:19:20 --> 00:19:23
			then of course not going to be clean.

00:19:25 --> 00:19:33
			And that's why we have to pray every single day. fudger Allah orders us to pray. Allah so Allah,

00:19:34 --> 00:19:46
			Allah, Allah, come to you the prayer come to your success. And then Allah gives another opportunity
at noon time when we're busy. Allahu Allahu Allah. Come on.

00:19:48 --> 00:19:49
			Come to pray.

00:19:51 --> 00:19:57
			Again, for those who committed their sins in the mornings morning hours.

00:19:58 --> 00:19:59
			The opportunity to read

00:20:00 --> 00:20:04
			pent to return to Allah is given to them again at noon time.

00:20:05 --> 00:20:14
			And then it also time and a moment of time. And those who committed sins at nighttime fudger time
comes in a law is calling you back to him.

00:20:15 --> 00:20:23
			Allah has calling you back to him. And that's why the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
gave the parable, the five

00:20:24 --> 00:20:26
			daily prayers.

00:20:27 --> 00:20:43
			As a river or stream flowing in front of a person's house, he said, If every if you were to jump
into that stream or river every day, five times a day, would you find any filth on you whatsoever?

00:20:44 --> 00:20:58
			The Companions, they said, No or messenger of Allah, we will you would not find any filth on you. If
we would not find any filth on us if we were to jump into that stream of water every single day,
five times a day.

00:21:00 --> 00:21:02
			And he said, likewise, are the five daily prayers.

00:21:03 --> 00:21:42
			They cleanse ourselves and we'll make we'll do our sins come out of our Come out Come come off of
off of us with the drops of water that come off, when we're making will do well with the final drop
of water that comes in another narration. And so the five daily prayers and it'll check yourself.
Check yourself when it comes time to pray, where you are, when it's time to pray. And how are you
when it's time to pray, your condition when it's time to pray and your relationship with Allah
subhanho wa Taala. And so if you want to check the condition of your heart, then check the quality
of your prayer.

00:21:44 --> 00:21:54
			The quality of your prayer, which is what if you want to see whether your heart is cleanse clean or
not. If you want to see that, then check

00:21:55 --> 00:21:57
			the quality of your prayer when you're standing to pray.

00:21:59 --> 00:22:01
			Make sure you also

00:22:02 --> 00:22:04
			call your heart to join you.

00:22:06 --> 00:22:10
			Sometimes we stand up to pray. But physically we're praying.

00:22:11 --> 00:22:14
			But our heart is not with us. It's somewhere else. It's not praying with us.

00:22:16 --> 00:22:24
			We like to call our children to join us in prayer our family members to join us in prayer. But
sometimes we forget to

00:22:25 --> 00:22:31
			ask our heart to join us in prayer also. And we stand up in prayer and we're all over

00:22:32 --> 00:22:40
			at our workplace all over different places in the world communicating with Allah subhanho wa Taala
yet our heart is not there.

00:22:41 --> 00:22:53
			And that's why if you want to see the condition of your heart, than check the quality of your
prayer, how are you? When it's time to pray, when you stand up to pray? What are you thinking about?

00:22:54 --> 00:23:00
			Because that which you think about during prayer that that which you are concerned about during
prayer

00:23:02 --> 00:23:05
			helps you to determine who you are as a Muslim,

00:23:07 --> 00:23:09
			who you are as a Muslim.

00:23:10 --> 00:23:11
			And so

00:23:12 --> 00:23:15
			during these days of Ramadan,

00:23:16 --> 00:23:20
			and the nights in which we stand, stand up in prayer.

00:23:22 --> 00:23:26
			We sometimes we don't have a lot of time to do a lot of a buy that

00:23:28 --> 00:23:29
			maybe we're busy in the daytime.

00:23:30 --> 00:23:34
			But whatever we do, make sure folks try to focus on quality.

00:23:35 --> 00:23:39
			If you don't have the quantity, then at least make it up with quality.

00:23:41 --> 00:23:44
			If you don't have the time to do many

00:23:46 --> 00:23:50
			acts of worship, then whatever you're doing, do it with quality.

00:23:51 --> 00:24:04
			And that's something that's very important, something we need to focus on. And that's why Allah
Subhana Allah Allah says, Allah the helical moto will hire Talia blue Akuma Yoko Asana Amara,

00:24:05 --> 00:24:46
			it is he who created light death and life to see which of you are best. Indeed, he did not say are
most indeed no are best in deeds and so focus on quality in your acts of worship, and you're a
badass when you stand up for prayer prayer, pray as if it's your last prayer. And when you're
fasting don't just fast from food and water also, but fast from all that which is displeasing to
Allah and do that which is pleasing to Allah subhanho wa Taala as much as you can, while you're
fasting, be in a state of remembrance of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:24:47 --> 00:24:49
			So the month of Ramadan

00:24:50 --> 00:24:59
			is not just the month in which we lose weight, and most of us don't lose weight during the month of
Ramadan. Anyways,

00:25:00 --> 00:25:01
			It's the month to lose since

00:25:03 --> 00:25:34
			the month to lose sins to cleanse our heart and fill it with that will lai subhanho wa Taala so that
we can continue our journey check our hearts make sure that it's not sick. Because what it's sick
you will not be able to perform, you will not be able to enjoy the acts of worship. So cleanse and
purify your heart. Fill it with dap Allah subhanho wa Taala and do not leave this month without
repenting to Allah subhanho wa Taala the true repentance.

00:25:36 --> 00:25:39
			make a change, to be the best you can be.

00:25:41 --> 00:25:47
			Make that conviction that from now on, you will be

00:25:48 --> 00:25:53
			a servant of Allah subhanho wa Taala who will do his or her best

00:25:55 --> 00:26:14
			to be obedient to Allah subhanho wa Taala to do that which is pleasing to Allah and make the
conviction to focus on quality and the acts of worship. And so take some of that in sha Allah from
this man. It's the pitstop and if we don't we feel ourselves, we will not make the journey.

00:26:15 --> 00:26:51
			This is the opportunity to do so. So refuel yourselves with Dr. Lai subhana wa tada and we ask Allah
subhana wa Taala to teach us that which benefits us and benefit us from that what she has taught us.
We ask Allah subhana wa Taala to accept our fasting and prayers. We ask Allah Subhana Allah to Allah
to make this Ramadan, the best Ramadan that we've ever had. And we asked Allah subhanho wa Taala to
make us amongst those whom he has freed from the Hellfire and is introduced at the highest level in
Paradise, which is akumina Hydra masala Allahu Allah, Allah Nabina Muhammad wa ala alihi wa sahbihi
wa sallam
