			Allah, Allah.

00:01:39 --> 00:01:45
			Allah La la la la sharika wa shadow Mohammed Abu also

00:01:46 --> 00:02:14
			Yeah, you holiday in Amman otaku la haka Ducati while at the Moto Nila want to Muslim on yeah

00:02:16 --> 00:02:23
			way I'm feeling la cama de novo, we may have a la hora Sula, who, if I was an AVI Am I back

00:02:26 --> 00:02:38
			the blessings that Allah Subhana Allah, Allah has bestowed upon us our abundance, and just by
reflecting upon the blessings of Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:02:39 --> 00:02:44
			raises our Eman gives us makes us thankful to Allah Subhana Allah.

00:02:46 --> 00:02:46
			But

00:02:48 --> 00:02:49
			how can we?

00:02:50 --> 00:02:52
			How can we be thankful to Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:02:54 --> 00:02:54
			What should we do?

00:02:56 --> 00:02:58
			Many of the companions of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:03:00 --> 00:03:01
			they will promise paradise

00:03:03 --> 00:03:06
			and they will people who are walking on the face of this earth.

00:03:07 --> 00:03:11
			But the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam had already mentioned

00:03:12 --> 00:03:14
			that they will they will enter Paradise.

00:03:17 --> 00:03:20
			Now if we were in that situation,

00:03:21 --> 00:03:27
			most people by the way, they think just you know there there are 10 who are promised paradise now
there are many who are promised paradise.

00:03:28 --> 00:03:29
			In fact over 1400

00:03:30 --> 00:03:32
			who took the pledge under the tree,

00:03:33 --> 00:03:51
			the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said none of them. None of those who took the
pleasure under the sub muratore will ever be touched by the Hellfire, which means they're the people
who are promised paradise, whom Allah subhanho wa Taala is pleased with they are pleased with Allah
Subhana Allah Allah.

00:03:52 --> 00:03:56
			And so when they received these

00:03:57 --> 00:03:58
			great

00:03:59 --> 00:04:07
			these glad tidings promise of Paradise, like the people above it, the Messenger of Allah sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam

00:04:08 --> 00:04:12
			said they do whatever you Allah somehow looked at the people of others, they do as you will,

00:04:14 --> 00:04:20
			for DD has already forgiven your past and future sins. So these were great blessings.

00:04:22 --> 00:04:25
			And if we were put in a situation, some of us What do you think we would do?

00:04:27 --> 00:04:31
			Maybe we would say party time guys, like you know,

00:04:32 --> 00:04:37
			but the companions are even more

00:04:38 --> 00:04:44
			strong in the obedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala because they were thankful to Allah Subhana Allah

00:04:45 --> 00:04:51
			and part of being thankful to Allah subhanho wa Taala is increasing in your worship of Allah Subhana
Allah

00:04:52 --> 00:04:54
			and that's why the Messenger of Allah

00:04:55 --> 00:04:58
			sallallahu alayhi wa sallam when he was

00:05:00 --> 00:05:00
			When

00:05:02 --> 00:05:03
			he used to pray

00:05:05 --> 00:05:08
			he used to pray until his feet were swollen.

00:05:10 --> 00:05:14
			Is the praying to his feet were swollen. And I Chateau de la vida feeling

00:05:16 --> 00:05:22
			compassionate towards her husband. He said Allah has already forgiven your past and future sins.

00:05:23 --> 00:05:37
			Why are you standing up here like, like this to the point where his feet were swollen? So what did
he say? He said, FLR Guna absentia? Should I not be a faithful servant of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:05:38 --> 00:05:41
			Which means that when you're thankful to Allah for anything that you have,

00:05:43 --> 00:05:47
			you use those blessings in the obedience of a loss of power.

00:05:48 --> 00:05:49
			And so what's the greatest blessing?

00:05:51 --> 00:05:54
			The greatest blessing is the blessing of Islam.

00:05:55 --> 00:05:59
			The blessing of guidance, and that's why from the very, very beginning,

00:06:00 --> 00:06:03
			when the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam received

00:06:05 --> 00:06:07
			the first verses.

00:06:09 --> 00:06:14
			The first few verses in Ecuador, this mirrabooka the * up in Surah, Allah,

00:06:15 --> 00:06:21
			the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam received those received that revelation

00:06:22 --> 00:06:24
			that at that moment at that time,

00:06:25 --> 00:06:29
			he did not know until he went to see one of the

00:06:30 --> 00:06:31
			one of the NOFA.

00:06:34 --> 00:06:52
			And after that revelation, after hearing the good news, from Laura Baraka, Bulova, he, of course,
wanted to change the situation, because as anyone with a good heart with a pure heart, when they see
an evil, they want to change it, but how can he change it as a person.

00:06:53 --> 00:07:08
			And then when he received the verses from the cable in the cable era, and I told him that this was
an inspiration, this revelation from Allah subhanho wa Taala, just as if this was the same
inspiration that was sent to Moses before.

00:07:09 --> 00:07:19
			It made him happy, because this is what he wanted. He wanted to change people for the better and
contribute to the society. But

00:07:21 --> 00:07:23
			how is he going to do it?

00:07:24 --> 00:07:34
			And so realizing that a lot of harrowed has chosen him now has given them revelation. He's yearning
to receive further instructions.

00:07:36 --> 00:07:41
			yearning to see further revelation, but there is a section there's an air there's a time,

00:07:42 --> 00:07:45
			which the scholars of Sierra they call it the cessation of Revelation.

00:07:46 --> 00:08:06
			There were days weeks, some of the scholars even up to six months, some of the scholars mentioned
that this was a time of cessation and Revelation, in which no revelation was revealed that people
were making fun of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, they, they were making fun of
him, they said, has your shaytan abandon you?

00:08:08 --> 00:08:14
			And woman came by the Messenger of Allah sallallahu. He was, as you say, thought, abandon you, or
Mohammed.

00:08:15 --> 00:08:17
			And it was a very difficult time for the messenger.

00:08:19 --> 00:08:20
			People are making fun of him.

00:08:23 --> 00:08:24
			And

00:08:25 --> 00:08:30
			maybe some people might think that, hey, you know,

00:08:31 --> 00:08:39
			maybe all of that really didn't happen, right? You might think some people got to a point, if that
occurs, maybe it was just psychological.

00:08:40 --> 00:08:49
			But there was something that was pointed to the fact that it wasn't psychological. It didn't happen.
It wasn't something you just saw, is in a cave.

00:08:51 --> 00:08:58
			And you saw the orientalist. Of course, they see this and that he's seeing things and so forth. Know
what, there's something that he saw that something that happened.

00:08:59 --> 00:09:04
			When the revelation was revealed, he was squeezed very hard.

00:09:05 --> 00:09:12
			To the point where he said Hector, Bella, Minnie and Jasmine, until I almost lost my breath, till he
almost died, in other words,

00:09:14 --> 00:09:17
			and then he released and he did this again,

00:09:19 --> 00:09:25
			recite, of recite, and then of course, the revelation came, but he squeezed him so hard

00:09:26 --> 00:09:29
			that the pain from it remained.

00:09:30 --> 00:09:39
			So you might think it's psychological, but you feel touch yourself. And hey, you know that it did
happen. There's physical evidence that it actually did happen.

00:09:41 --> 00:09:46
			And so it was a difficult time for the best in different areas. Because people were making fun of

00:09:48 --> 00:09:52
			people were making fun of him. And so the story got up in Mecca.

00:09:53 --> 00:09:54
			And then,

00:09:55 --> 00:09:57
			after a period

00:09:58 --> 00:09:59
			of difficulties of waiting

00:10:00 --> 00:10:07
			Loss of handle with that and then reveal the sort of the verses one after the other one after the
other.

00:10:08 --> 00:10:09
			Amongst them yeah.

00:10:11 --> 00:10:16
			And then Allah subhanho wa Taala also mentions, reveals surah

00:10:17 --> 00:10:19
			in which Allah Subhana Allah says

00:10:21 --> 00:10:31
			well as a loss of Hanover says by the foreknown well lately the surge and by the night when it
covers

00:10:32 --> 00:10:36
			the world and peace in the by the night when it covers malware,

00:10:37 --> 00:10:38
			buco

00:10:40 --> 00:10:54
			what dakara buka? Wha Allah? Remember they were saying that he has been abandoned? Maybe Allah has
about no matter what the icon of bukoba on your Lord has neither abandon you. Notice he dislike you

00:10:55 --> 00:10:56
			want

00:10:57 --> 00:10:59
			to hire your own, like Amina? Oh,

00:11:00 --> 00:11:07
			Allah subhanho wa Taala is telling us Prophet, indeed the Hereafter is better than this life. Well,
so far your

00:11:08 --> 00:11:27
			book sobre la, surely we will give you that which will please you know, there was we will, what he
was looking for all the things, Allah Subhana Allah will give him that which was, which will please
him that a loss of Hannah reminds him of the past of who he was before, allowed the idea to get the
man

00:11:29 --> 00:11:34
			Where did he not find you an orphan? And they sheltered you? Well?

00:11:39 --> 00:12:18
			And did he not find you a stray here doll here? It doesn't mean he's off the path of Islam or
anything like that? No, it means that the Sharia and the revelation and so forth didn't come to him
yet. He was looking for looking to do to do something, to find something to change the people to to
find that to find that which will help the people he believed that a lot. He never committed any
shift or anything like that. never did anything that was inappropriate. And that's why the son of
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is considered that which is a before revelation after
revelation, because he was protected from a very young age onward. And that's when he's when Allah

00:12:18 --> 00:12:30
			says we didn't find you Australian guided you mean we get we guided you, we gave you instructions
and so forth and the revelation that came afterwards, when you did not have all of this before?
Well, I did.

00:12:32 --> 00:12:32
			ILA

00:12:34 --> 00:13:09
			did we not defined destitute? We didn't we not find you destitute? And we enriched you. We most
people don't realize that the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam lived in a time when he
was young days. He lived in poverty. He lived in poverty, he lived with his uncle. And I thought it
was a bitch. He was very poor. But the message of the loss of a lot so because of his kindness,
because of his characters, good character. He contributed, he helped out in the finances, even the
house. And that's why he was at that age, when even from when he was very young. He said, there has
not been a single profit, except that it used to be a shepherd.

00:13:11 --> 00:13:48
			And so the companion said, even your messenger of Allah, and he said, yes, even me, I used to take
care of the flock that belonged to one another, the restaurant has of Mecca. And so he used to be a
shepherd also, we shot being a shepherd is it isn't like, a job that's praiseworthy, or anything
like that, this is something that you take is, you know, it shows the humbleness and humility in
that job. So he wasn't, he was destitute, he was very, very poor. And so a lot of hands, reminding
him that he used to be used to poor and used to be an orphan, then it was somehow enriched, you
know, gave you when he when he married her da da, da, da, da, da. She was one of the richest people.

00:13:49 --> 00:13:57
			But she was one of the richest people in america. And it gave him the opportunity also to use those
resources for the Dow and in Allah Subhana. Allah says,

00:14:01 --> 00:14:06
			Remember, you're an orphan as for the orphan, do not, do not repel them or do not,

00:14:07 --> 00:14:14
			you know, be harsh towards them. As for the orphan, do not be harsh towards a mess.

00:14:18 --> 00:14:23
			And as for those who come begging or asking, chide them not

00:14:25 --> 00:14:33
			being matira because of this, and as for the blessing of your Lord, proclaim it.

00:14:35 --> 00:14:39
			For the blessing of your Lord proclaimed, what is the greatest blessing?

00:14:40 --> 00:14:45
			The greatest blessing is Islam. And if you're appreciative of that blessing,

00:14:47 --> 00:14:59
			then you also call people to Islam also, you live as a Muslim as an example. And you want to share
that. As for the blessings of Allah, the greatest blessing we have is

00:15:00 --> 00:15:25
			Islam and so you have to apply it and use it in your daily life. If you want to die as a Muslim, you
have to live as a Muslim. So we have to live as Muslims. And we have to call people also to this
Deen and so, the blessings of Allah Subhana Allah, our abundance, we can you can count them and you
will not be able to enumerate the blessings of Allah subhana wa Tada. But

00:15:26 --> 00:15:28
			we also when you are one of the things that we can do,

00:15:29 --> 00:15:33
			when we reflect upon the great blessings of Allah Subhana Allah.

00:15:34 --> 00:15:35
			That's where a lot more reminds us.

00:15:37 --> 00:15:37
			That'd be a

00:15:38 --> 00:16:15
			beacon that to get the band and which are the blessings of Allah Do you deny? Allah mentions the
blessings over and over and over again, different blessings, different blessings? And then Allah
subhana wa Taala reminds us of which of these blessings Did you deny me, because of these great
blessings, you should remember to be thankful to Allah and be obedient to Allah subhanho wa Taala.
And so that's one way to avoid and to stay away from sins, is to remember the great blessings of
Allah Subhana Allah, because you remember when you think about the blessings of Allah Subhana Allah,
you think of how merciful Allah Subhana Allah that is towards us. And so you think to yourself, how

00:16:15 --> 00:16:31
			can you be an OB disobedient to the one who's so kind to you? And so if you are confronted with
since this is one way to abstain or stay, keep yourself strong and abstain from sins, when when ways
to think about the great blessings of alignment, give some examples of chocolate

00:16:32 --> 00:16:33
			and I'm going to be a story first, okay.

00:16:36 --> 00:16:40
			But three years ago, this is an athlete it was in the New York Times

00:16:42 --> 00:16:43
			a man

00:16:45 --> 00:16:51
			a man finds finds out that his wife needs a new liver

00:16:53 --> 00:16:53
			needs another

00:16:54 --> 00:16:56
			kid as a kidney, kidney, right? You have two

00:16:57 --> 00:16:59
			kidney, new kidney

00:17:01 --> 00:17:01
			and,

00:17:03 --> 00:17:03
			and so

00:17:05 --> 00:17:08
			he, you know, his wife is sick.

00:17:10 --> 00:17:11
			And she needs a kidney transplant.

00:17:13 --> 00:17:19
			And it so happens that his his kidneys, blood type, whatever, all of that matters.

00:17:20 --> 00:17:25
			And so this is why I couldn't find a donor to donate. Like

00:17:26 --> 00:17:40
			I would donate my kidney Of course you can. You can have one and still survive, right? It's I donate
my kidney. And you're thinking Mashallah, right? Like he's donate his own kidney, This, of course,
they're not Muslims, okay.

00:17:42 --> 00:17:45
			In New York, he says, he said, I'll donate my kidney.

00:17:46 --> 00:17:49
			And so the operation happens and Mashallah.

00:17:50 --> 00:17:52
			She had part of him.

00:17:54 --> 00:17:55
			What a love story.

00:17:57 --> 00:17:58
			She's alive.

00:17:59 --> 00:18:05
			Of course, by the word of Allah Subhana. Allah by the kidney they just gave to get to his wife. Now,

00:18:07 --> 00:18:13
			if you look at this couple, how much more thankful Do you think the wife should be?

00:18:14 --> 00:18:32
			When the wife didn't clean did make dinner or anything like that before? She should be doing all the
time now. Right? She's alive because part of him like is he sacrificed his own kidney for her. She
should be so obedient to Him now. So much better towards him.

00:18:34 --> 00:18:35
			One year later.

00:18:37 --> 00:18:39
			He finds out that she cheated on him.

00:18:41 --> 00:18:42
			And of course, he divorces her.

00:18:43 --> 00:18:45
			And then he says I want my kidney back.

00:18:47 --> 00:18:49
			It says I want my kidney.

00:18:50 --> 00:19:12
			And of course she can't give the kidney back. Right? She can't give his kidney back. So hey, you're
in America, everyone. Sue's everybody. Right? So you Sue's her for the kidney. Like, you know, and
you know what? They brought her to court. And he won. I think he won one point. It was either 1.6 or
1.4 million. He won.

00:19:13 --> 00:19:14
			But the point of the story is that

00:19:17 --> 00:19:26
			because of that kidney, right, she should have been so much thankful, so much more obedient, so much
more kind to her husband. But when we think about ourselves,

00:19:28 --> 00:19:30
			a loss of Halloween has given us everything.

00:19:32 --> 00:19:59
			Our eyes and ears, everything that we have from head to toe and everything that we have around us,
is by the blessing of Allah subhanho wa Taala as a blessing, and the bounties of Allah subhanho wa
Taala endlessly give it to us. We take many things for granted. We don't realize how great some of
these blessings are. We don't take advantage of but if we reflect upon those blessings,

00:20:00 --> 00:20:09
			Then it should help us be more obedient to Allah subhanho wa Taala. Because how can you be all this
obedience

00:20:11 --> 00:20:18
			to a Lord, that is so merciful towards you, who has given you everything that you have.

00:20:19 --> 00:20:20
			And that's why

00:20:21 --> 00:20:27
			the Prophet Yusuf alayhi salam, by the way, tonight, we will be speaking about the story of Prophet
Yusuf in the masjid.

00:20:29 --> 00:20:35
			And will elaborate more on this and also other points also benefits from it. But what prophet use of

00:20:36 --> 00:20:37
			the Prophet Yusuf

00:20:38 --> 00:20:40
			is confronted

00:20:41 --> 00:20:42
			with since

00:20:43 --> 00:20:45
			the wife of the disease,

00:20:47 --> 00:20:48
			tries to seduce him.

00:20:50 --> 00:20:51
			And what does he say?

00:20:53 --> 00:21:14
			The first thing he says when she says, well, Allah somehow says, we're bad at high tech. And he
said, and she said, high tech, high tech is it means, you know, come over here, come on, or in other
words, you know, maybe in modern terminology, most of you with me, let's get

00:21:15 --> 00:21:15
			right

00:21:16 --> 00:21:27
			either. So she's ready, or in an era to look, I have prepared myself adorn myself boring. She's
prepared ready, and she's the one that's asking.

00:21:28 --> 00:21:30
			She's asking to do this fight.

00:21:31 --> 00:21:34
			This city send committees in. And so what is he saying?

00:21:36 --> 00:21:36
			He says,

00:21:39 --> 00:21:48
			the first thing you do is you seek refuge in Allah Subhana. When you confronted with since the first
thing you have to realize is no one can help you.

00:21:50 --> 00:21:59
			Accept the loss of power. So you seek refuge in Allah subhana wa tada you make dua to Allah subhanho
wa Taala. And you remember the greatness of Allah subhana wa Tada.

00:22:02 --> 00:22:10
			And then, you remember the great blessings of Allah subhanho wa Taala. In rugby.

00:22:13 --> 00:22:39
			Surely he, some of the scholars and this is speaking about his master know, the stronger opinions
and know who indeed he a lot of them are other law and know a lot of B sentiment, why last panel
that has made my stay comfortable has provided all this for me. In other words, it has given me so
much blessings. So when you think about the great blessings of Allah Subhana Allah in terms of in
terms of what you're confronted with sins?

00:22:40 --> 00:23:08
			Are you thinking about disobeying Allah subhanho wa Taala. Think about the blessings that Allah
Subhana has bestowed upon you. Think about everything that you have, think about the health, the
wealth and everything that you have. So that you will realize, hey, how can I be this obedient to
the Lord who has been so kind to me? Who has given me so much? Who is provided for me, so merciful
towards me, I've been disobedient before but he's still, he's still giving me all of these
blessings.

00:23:10 --> 00:23:12
			And so by thinking of the great blessings of Allah,

00:23:13 --> 00:23:21
			it should help us to abstain from the disobedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala. And then he says, in
our in

00:23:23 --> 00:23:39
			the moon, surely, in no life, when you think about the consequences of sins, you don't want to
trade, a little bit of pleasure, you know, just a temporary pleasure for eternal happiness, or
eternal happiness. And so

00:23:40 --> 00:24:24
			think about those things. Think about the great blessings, as well awesome. Hang on a minute is over
and over again, of the abundance bless the abundance of the blessings that Allah Subhana Allah has
bestowed upon us. And one of the great blessings that sometimes we don't even reflect is there are
two blessings that we tend to not realize the greatness of it. And that's, those two blessings are
mentioned by the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and Hadith. In Sahih Bukhari, in
which the Prophet sallallahu alayhi Mata Mata boon amfi Hema Candido made ns two types of blessings
in which most of the people are Mahmoud, what is my mom? What is when you don't know the value of

00:24:24 --> 00:24:25
			something

00:24:26 --> 00:24:56
			and you squander it. Or if somebody cheats you to the point like say, for example, you have, let's
say a child a child has, he has inherited inherited a let's say a BMW. So his father and his mother
let's say they're not there anymore. And so the uncle comes and says to the Father, to the child,
says, Hey, now Hey, nephew, you know that, of course in Islam is not permissible. I'm just trying to
give you an example. He goes, Hey,

00:24:58 --> 00:24:59
			I got two bags of ice

00:25:00 --> 00:25:00
			cream,

00:25:02 --> 00:25:25
			two bags of ice cream. If you give me the keys to that car, I'll give you both bags. Like he's four
years old, okay? He doesn't know the value of that car. And so he says, really? You mean you didn't
give me both bags? Yeah, if you take the keys, he didn't care less. He doesn't realize if he sells
that car, he could buy all the ice cream in town.

00:25:27 --> 00:25:39
			So he's been born, because he doesn't know the true value of what he has just gotten. He just got
cheated. For us. We get cheated all the time. We cheat ourselves actually. That's what the prophet
sallallahu Sallam said, Now I'm attending the one of the

00:25:40 --> 00:25:50
			two blessings that Allah subhanaw taala gives to us, that we are we cheat ourselves, we don't know
the true value and we squander it we wasted. So how to wait for our

00:25:51 --> 00:26:02
			health and free time, the time that we have, the time that we have, a lot of times, especially with
the health that we have, we don't realize

00:26:03 --> 00:26:10
			that our bodies, our bodies, martial law, like everything is running so perfectly.

00:26:11 --> 00:26:13
			All of these little things that are working.

00:26:14 --> 00:26:19
			And if there's anything, just a small temperature change in our bodies,

00:26:20 --> 00:26:22
			immediately we felt we feel sick.

00:26:24 --> 00:26:32
			But everything is fluid with our blood flow and our body temperature. It's so perfect. It's amazing.

00:26:34 --> 00:26:37
			And this is a great blessing from Allah, that when you're healthy.

00:26:39 --> 00:26:46
			We don't realize it. That's why the Arabs they say, so tarjan Allah, who's a

00:26:48 --> 00:27:00
			layer who illamasqua he said, health is a crown on the heads of those who are healthy. No one sees
this crown except the sick.

00:27:01 --> 00:27:35
			Only the sick people they see it. So when the sick people are looking at us right now we have a
crowd. And they would give anything for just to be healthy, just to feel normal, just to feel
normal. But they can't. And so that's when we don't realize this great blessing. We don't realize
the blessing that Allah has given to us, you know, I'm pretty sure all of us we eat ice cream,
right? And you get this, you get this cold rice, whether they call it to rain freeze, you get this
brain freeze.

00:27:37 --> 00:27:38
			And it hurts a lot, right?

00:27:39 --> 00:27:42
			Imagine if that continued on. And

00:27:45 --> 00:27:59
			you know, the reason why you're able to handle because you know, it's gonna end in a few in a few
seconds, it's gonna be over. But just that small change in temperature. And you will not be able to
function

00:28:00 --> 00:28:02
			you'll be in such great pain.

00:28:03 --> 00:28:14
			That's just a small change in temperature when the changes, the blood flow has gone up where the
head is cool, did that just a little bit? A few seconds only.

00:28:15 --> 00:28:19
			And that's why we should be thankful. How should we be thankful to Allah

00:28:20 --> 00:28:25
			for something like that? Well, if Allah subhanaw taala has given us anything.

00:28:27 --> 00:28:34
			We should use those blessings, to be thankful we use those blessings in the obedience of Allah
subhana wa Tada.

00:28:35 --> 00:28:39
			That's how we should be thankful. So the law gives us wealth.

00:28:40 --> 00:29:14
			If we want to be thankful for the wealth that Allah Subhana Allah has bestowed upon us, then we use
that wealth in the obedience of Allah Subhana and it has given us health. That means we are able to
stand up and worship Allah and fast and go to the masjid. And we have helped them we use that health
that we have in the obedience of Allah subhana wa Tada. That's how we show that we're thankful to
Allah. And that's why the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:29:15 --> 00:29:31
			when I said Why are you standing up until your feet are swollen? He said FLR Guna. optician Cora,
should I not be a faithful servant of Allah and others Allah has given me so much. He has made me a
prophet and messenger.

00:29:32 --> 00:29:38
			He has guided me, he has enriched me. He has took me out of poverty.

00:29:39 --> 00:29:41
			Should I not be thankful to Allah?

00:29:43 --> 00:29:47
			And so should I not stand up and pray until my feet are swollen

00:29:48 --> 00:29:53
			and thankful to our last panel? So sometimes, if you have if you feel like

00:29:54 --> 00:29:55
			if you feel like you're,

00:29:57 --> 00:29:59
			you know, you're not motivated to worship a lot

00:30:00 --> 00:30:03
			Think of all the great blessings that Allah has given to you.

00:30:04 --> 00:30:06
			If someone were to give you,

00:30:07 --> 00:30:08
			you know, if you were sick,

00:30:09 --> 00:30:10
			if you were sick,

00:30:12 --> 00:30:22
			and then someone, were to take care of you and help you so much, and they go the extra mile to help
you. And then when you're here,

00:30:23 --> 00:30:24
			what do you do?

00:30:25 --> 00:30:43
			you're thankful to that person, right? Even whenever they need something, you're always there for
them. When they ask you to do something, you're here straightaway. Let's say that person was so
helpful to you. It helped you so much give you so much when you were in times of need. And then they
say,

00:30:44 --> 00:31:03
			brother, can you? You know, I really, I can't go to the store right now. Can you go to the store for
me? And it's like 12 o'clock in the middle of the night. Right? And then you remember, wow, you
know, he was so nice to me, at 12, not at 12 o'clock at two, three o'clock, he was next to the
bedside, in the hospital. When nobody was there.

00:31:05 --> 00:31:06
			Right now I'm going to go.

00:31:08 --> 00:31:12
			I'll go and I'll buy whatever he needs from the store at this time with you, because he can't go.

00:31:14 --> 00:31:30
			And so but Allah has given us so much. Allah does not need us. No. But he wants us to show that
we're appreciative of the blessings. He wants us to be thankful and the way to be thankful is to be
obedient to Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:31:31 --> 00:31:32
			And so

00:31:34 --> 00:31:35
			this whole life,

00:31:36 --> 00:31:39
			all the time, no matter what happens to us,

00:31:40 --> 00:31:46
			a believer is in a state of being thankful. And in the state of being patient.

00:31:49 --> 00:31:51
			Every state is good for the believer.

00:31:52 --> 00:31:55
			That's what the Messenger of Allah sallallahu Sallam said,

00:31:57 --> 00:31:58
			he said ajibade

00:32:00 --> 00:32:10
			strange is the affair of the believers. Mr. ages are further believers, in the Abram kulu higher,
everything that happens to him is good for him.

00:32:11 --> 00:32:19
			Well, I said Africa is a remote man. And nobody has this. This nobody is in this state was given
this except for the truth you

00:32:21 --> 00:32:25
			either saw, but was sama Chaka Khan highroller.

00:32:27 --> 00:32:27
			Somebody,

00:32:29 --> 00:32:41
			if something, if a calamity before if something good happens to him, he's faithful, and it's good
for him. He's thankful. And it's good for him. And if something bad happens to him,

00:32:42 --> 00:32:48
			you know, calamity befalls upon him, his patient, and it's good for him. So in either case, it's
always good for him.

00:32:49 --> 00:32:51
			And a lot of how do I test us?

00:32:52 --> 00:33:05
			He tests us with poverty, and prosperity, to see we're thankful for the blessings of Allah. And you
know what the harder test is. The harder test is the test of prosperity.

00:33:07 --> 00:33:22
			Why? Because in times of poverty and hardship, people are more likely to return to Allah. But in
terms of ease, people tend to forget a lot. But most people don't realize even in times of ease, you
are being tested by a law.

00:33:24 --> 00:34:01
			You are being tested by a law, but tested with prosperity. So when you see someone standing up in
the masjid, and they're asking brothers, there are some brothers who are in need. There are brothers
who are in need, can you guys please, you know, help out with you know, because the, there's a
calamity that occurred here, there. And so at that moment, there are people like, for example, in
Syria and other places, they're being tested with poverty and hardship, and war, we at that time,
and also being tested with prosperity. So when you're being asked to help,

00:34:03 --> 00:34:15
			you're being tested at the same that moment also, are you thankful for the blessings that Allah has
given to you. And if you are, then you start using those blessings in the obedience of Allah, and
you remember your brothers.

00:34:16 --> 00:34:33
			And that's why one of the characteristics of the believers is that they spend in times of hardship
in these allatheena you have your own affairs sobre la, but wait, sometimes a normal dog, it gets
overboard, right?

00:34:34 --> 00:34:59
			The idea that this must it needs something, okay. And then somebody gets up and says, you know, we
need to donate for this machine. We're gonna build a budget in North Vancouver or wherever it is,
and they're asking for donations. Okay, you give stuff. Next week, somebody says, you know, there's
a famine in Africa or in Somalia. And, you know, we need to we need to dig wells and so forth and
help them out.

00:35:00 --> 00:35:01
			Okay,

00:35:02 --> 00:35:18
			the next week, another organization comes in, we need this and we need that next week a school
comes. Next week, another kid comes, next week, this particular organization for for orphans and
wells and poor people, and all kinds of things are happening. Who would I give to?

00:35:20 --> 00:35:26
			When does it stop? Well, you might ask yourself, who do I give to? And when does it stop?

00:35:29 --> 00:35:43
			I would again to those two, before I got three other weeks, I already gave everything I already gave
to those, that the other two organizations that came before you. So who do you give? And what do you
give? And how much do you give?

00:35:44 --> 00:35:45
			The answer is in the Quran.

00:35:47 --> 00:35:51
			Allah Subhana Allah says, We're mementos upon our home.

00:35:53 --> 00:36:01
			And from that which we have provided for them, we spent they spent, you know what that means. It
means as long as you still have money in your pockets,

00:36:02 --> 00:36:10
			as long as you still have money in your bank account, as long as Allah is still providing for you,
you expect, you don't stop.

00:36:11 --> 00:36:20
			Even if it's just a little bit you give as much as you're able to, but you spend that you continue
to spend in times of ease, and in times of hardship,

00:36:21 --> 00:36:25
			because it's showing that you are appreciative of the great blessings of Allah subhana wa.

00:36:28 --> 00:36:33
			And allow only increases it for you it's a test for you is the one that gave it to you to start
with.

00:36:34 --> 00:36:36
			And why does he not give to them directly?

00:36:37 --> 00:36:44
			The reason is, because he's merciful towards you. He wants you to get the reward, he can set it
straight towards them, and now go through your bank account.

00:36:46 --> 00:36:53
			And so anytime you are being asked, if that's a test from Allah, but we don't realize it's a test of
prosperity.

00:36:55 --> 00:37:02
			And those tests are great. It's difficult also, we don't realize that when you don't realize you're,
you're being tested,

00:37:03 --> 00:37:12
			then it's hard to it's hard to pass. But we are being tested by Allah Subhana Allah. So the
blessings of Allah, Allah think about the blessings,

00:37:13 --> 00:37:24
			the abundant blessings of Allah Subhana Allah has given to us from ourselves, our family, the air,
we breathe, everything around us.

00:37:25 --> 00:37:29
			We have to use if we're thankful for the children that we have,

00:37:30 --> 00:37:31
			that we have to teach our children

00:37:32 --> 00:37:34
			to be obedient to Allah. So

00:37:36 --> 00:37:37
			we have to teach our children

00:37:38 --> 00:37:41
			to worship Allah subhanho wa Taala correctly.

00:37:42 --> 00:38:01
			We have to let them teach them to memorize the Quran. And be good to other people and apply the
teachings of Islam in their day to day lives and make that effort. If we're thankful to Allah
subhanho wa Taala for our children, if we're thankful to Allah somehow for our wealth, then we spend
it in the obedience of Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:38:03 --> 00:38:08
			And if we do so, then Allah subhanho wa Taala will always increase it for us.

00:38:10 --> 00:38:13
			In the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,

00:38:14 --> 00:38:15
			he said

00:38:17 --> 00:38:18
			deep inside ohare

00:38:20 --> 00:38:21
			he said either Safar lab

00:38:23 --> 00:38:23
			in SF.

00:38:25 --> 00:38:31
			Either Mattila de la Safar gooty, Bella Vista Makana yamano mo Cayman, so I A

00:38:32 --> 00:38:35
			when a when a service when a service

00:38:37 --> 00:38:41
			is his secretary is traveling. Allah writes for him

00:38:42 --> 00:38:44
			a lot of records for him.

00:38:45 --> 00:38:51
			That which he used to do before he became sick. And before he traveled.

00:38:52 --> 00:38:56
			What does that mean? That means if you used to always pray in the masjid

00:38:57 --> 00:39:01
			and you always prayed, Sunnah, prayers, now you're traveling,

00:39:03 --> 00:39:06
			or now you're sick, and you can't fast.

00:39:07 --> 00:39:21
			And you can't do that he can't retire. So you can't wake up for the night prayers I used to remember
these two. Get up, you don't have time to or you don't have the energy to recite the Quran like you
used to before.

00:39:22 --> 00:39:32
			Allah subhana wa tada out of his graciousness, and mercy records for you whatever you used to do,
before you became sick.

00:39:33 --> 00:39:35
			And before you travel,

00:39:36 --> 00:39:43
			that's a great blessing of a lesson. Why? Because and this is something that's very important
because we don't know.

00:39:44 --> 00:39:46
			We don't know when we're going to be sick.

00:39:48 --> 00:39:59
			And sometimes you don't know when the difficulties cuff, where you're not able to worship a loss of
hair like you normally do. But if you are always worshipping a lawyer, you always try your best

00:40:00 --> 00:40:07
			In times of ease, a loss of habitat in times of hardship gives you that same reward. And then
whatever you do during that time is just extra.

00:40:09 --> 00:40:19
			Because whatever you did you already got. So when you become sick, when it comes to good deeds and
so forth, you know, you have your Don't worry, you have your Social Security

00:40:21 --> 00:40:29
			you have here after with the good deeds, also, whatever you used to do before, but if you didn't do
much before, the you're not going to get much neither.

00:40:30 --> 00:40:37
			So you never know when sometimes you know, a person goes home, and he gets in a car accident or they
have the villa and we never be able to move with

00:40:39 --> 00:40:46
			the viewer, always obedient to Allah before go to the master demon, if you can't go to the masjid
now, Allah somehow still give you that same anywhere.

00:40:47 --> 00:40:50
			And if you're thankful to Allah Subhana Allah that in terms of ease,

00:40:51 --> 00:40:53
			Allah will be there for you in times of hardship.

00:40:55 --> 00:41:10
			Be thankful of all the blessings of a lot that He has given to you. In terms of ease, he'll be
there, the Messenger of Allah, Allah, Allah said, to our feed a life and our heart, the RF
coefficient, no Allah in times of ease, and you will know your times of hardship.

00:41:12 --> 00:41:19
			mean others be thankful to Allah in terms of ease, and in times of hardship, Allah subhanho wa Taala
will be there for you.

00:41:20 --> 00:41:21
			And so the blessings of Allah,

00:41:22 --> 00:41:22
			Allah.

00:41:24 --> 00:41:29
			Indeed, if you were to enumerate the blessings of Allah, you would not be able to do so

00:41:30 --> 00:41:39
			we sit down and we calculate everything that we have, we would not be able to do so you just say you
try one day, and you endless blessings.

00:41:41 --> 00:41:42
			And sometimes,

00:41:43 --> 00:41:51
			you know, some people, especially without Muslims, they always ask, and I speak to the non Muslims.
Why would you say that God is so merciful?

00:41:52 --> 00:41:56
			Why is it that they are people who are born

00:41:57 --> 00:42:07
			without this? And without that? And why is it that people are suffering, even though their children
are the, you know, they have nothing wrong? And why is it that they're suffering? Why?

00:42:08 --> 00:42:16
			Of course, it's by the wisdom of Allah, but it's also to let us realize, and wake up and appreciate
the blessings of Allah Subhana.

00:42:17 --> 00:42:47
			When they are people who are born without an eye, or they can't see, and you have two eyes, then you
save hamdulillah that Allah has given that to you, because there are people who don't have that. And
