No Excuses Part 1

Allah is wholefoods, Allah is rocking. Allah is the one who loves singing. He is a creator, he is a sustainer and he is the one who

has to learn Assalamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh My dear sisters and brothers Today I'll be talking about why we as Muslims have no excuses why we are not successful. I will share with you all three powerful stories that you may ponder them and share them with others. And I pray that by the end of this talk, that you are inspired and motivated to begin to achieve your destiny, Charlotte Allah.

Also, at the end of this talk, I will share with you my secret formula for no excuses. I want you all to imagine that for a moment. If your sister that your woman about to have her first baby, and for the brothers I want you to imagine then just a few hours, you're about to be a dad. You're so excited. You're having your first baby. Mashallah, you've been praying for healthy baby all this time. And the water breaks through your husband takes you to the hospital after hours of labor and pain. Your doctor congratulate you on having a baby boy, you ask the doctor to see the baby. But she says they must do the routine check first.

You agree as the baby's rushed into another room for routine checks. A few minutes later, the doctor walks into the room and says your baby is healthy. But there's one small problem. You look at your husband and You both look at the doctor curious to know what she says your baby has no arms and legs, gasping for air and your husband is shocked. You don't know what to do. But you ask yourself, Well, if God loved us, then why would he give us this as a gift a child with no arms and legs? Well, this truly did happen to Nick boujee kicks parents, Nick Vujicic was born without arms and legs. He had two small feet and one foot had two toes on it. Can you imagine a son Without Limbs? Or However,

by the will of Allah azza wa jal, Nick learned to write using the two toes on his left. But, but he still didn't think that was enough. At the age of eight, he realized that there was no purpose for his life. And he wanted to kill himself. He was very sad and lonely. And after being bullied for a number of years, at the age of 10, he contemplated committing suicide. He didn't think he could go to college or do anything with his life. So why left he got but here's a key turning point that came to licks Nick's life.

It's when his mother came to him and showed him a newspaper article about a man dealing with a severe disability. This made Nick realize that he was not the only one with major struggles, by the will of Allah subhanaw taala he was out of those thoughts. And instead, he learned to use a computer and start typing using the heel and toe method. He started to throw tennis balls out of phones, shave and even get himself a cup of water. When he was 17, he started to give talks at his prayer groups. And eventually he started his own nonprofit organization, life without live. You seen it Nick kind of felt sorry for him for the rest of his life and he could have been dependent and he

could have not cared. Instead, he turned that those emotions and and turned it into energy and turned it to use it for him instead of against him what he was blessed with.

You see, Nick eventually began to realize that his accomplishments were inspirational to many. And he began to thank God for being alive. It wasn't long that Nick graduated from college at the age of 21. With a double major in accounting and financial planning, he began his travels as a motivational speaker, focusing on topics that today's teenagers face. And he also speaks in the corporate sector, although his aim is to become an international, inspirational speaker in both the Christian and the non Christian venues. And one of his biggest dreams is to become financially independent by the age of 25. Mind you, this is a man without arms and legs. He has these dreams and goals and he's going

for them. Now, here's someone who loves traveling around the world fishing, golfing and swimming.

How many of us who have two arms and two legs can actually fish golf and swim? How many of us forget someone without,

you know, his famous words to a group of students that I'll never forget was when he fell down on a desk in front of them. And he looked at them and he said, How hard is it for me to get up? I don't have any arms. I don't have any legs. How hard is it for me to get Should I give up? Because it's not easy. And I really don't have a way to do it.

And he just, you know, stared at them. And he said if I gave up what would come out of it? Nothing. Nothing. So he tried and he tried and he tried the first time he felt and it took as long and as long as it took he kept trying

To get himself back up, and Mashallah, by the will of Allah azza wa jal, he got up using his body and his head upon Allah. You see, many of us are put in these situations to test our character, our patients and our perseverance and not to be destroyed. And if this man can do it, then why should there be any excuse for us not to do it? In the Quran, chapter number 13, verse number 11, it says,

barely God does not change man's condition unless they change their inner selves. An important lesson that we can learn from Nic struggles is that you need to want to change yourself first, before you look to Allah subhanaw taala to change your condition. This means that it is your intention, let's do our plus action. That equals change. For example, you're in debt, and you make dua to Allah subhanaw taala to help you get out of debt. However, if you aren't working extra, and you're not working on a solution to get yourself out of debt, and your only solution is to make blah, it'll probably never happen. You must take the action to be able to change your condition in

sha Allah, Allah. Again, it is your intention, plus da plus action that actually equals change. You see, many of us go on in life thinking that we can't make a difference, that we're not important, and that we're just simply going to go through life as another body and barely be there.

Well, what do I mean by barely being there? I mean, that we're half dead and half alive. Many people ask me, Zora, how can that be? I say, when you're not striving for the sake of Allah azza wa jal, with all of the resources at the tip of your fingers, then you're already half dead, you've given up without even trying. And I'm also here to tell you that if you're breathing and you're alive, that you can make a difference in Sharla. You see, each one of us was created for a reason. We have a genius that Eliza has given us. And so you're probably asking yourself, genius me? I don't think so. Well, many people honestly don't think that they have that gift, or that they will not blessed with

a certain gift. This makes them give themselves the excuse that they're either too old or too young or don't have enough money, or don't have enough time, or don't have enough education, etc. Do you know that the majority of people who live never discover their genius, they just do what they must to make a living and live day by day? What is the purpose of life? Many people think that the purpose of life is to just make a living. This is what I did. It's our parents that teach us to go to school and get a job, make money, get married, have kids go to hide, retire and die? Isn't that the American dream? Well, living in America and go to public school, I used to think that was the

purpose of life that you were born to do that stuff. And when your school was ended, you got that job, you got married, you had your kids, you quit. You hopped out with what you could you went to as many parties as you can add, you got the vacations. You paid us whenever you had some time. You bought a house the car, this was the American dream.

But really, is this the Muslim dream? If people in society actually believe this, then how do we discover our inner genius? You tell me? Well, I'm sure you won't be surprised to find out. We're not we're not supposed to technically find out our inner genius. And the biggest reason for that is, is because we're not following the Muslim dream we're following. You know, the man may drink
