00:00:03 --> 00:00:06
			I seek refuge with Allah from Satan, the

00:00:06 --> 00:00:06
			accursed.

00:00:06 --> 00:00:07
			In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the

00:00:07 --> 00:00:08
			Merciful.

00:00:09 --> 00:00:11
			And they assign to that which they do

00:00:11 --> 00:00:13
			not know, a portion of that which We

00:00:13 --> 00:00:14
			have provided for them.

00:00:15 --> 00:00:17
			By Allah, you will be asked about that

00:00:17 --> 00:00:18
			which you used to invent.

00:00:19 --> 00:00:22
			And they assign to Allah daughters, glory be

00:00:22 --> 00:00:24
			to Him, and to them whatever they desire.

00:00:25 --> 00:00:27
			And when one of them is given good

00:00:27 --> 00:00:30
			tidings of a girl, his face turns black,

00:00:30 --> 00:00:31
			and he is like light.

00:00:56 --> 00:00:59
			We are going through the Tafsir of Surah

00:00:59 --> 00:01:01
			An-Nahl, and today we are starting from

00:01:01 --> 00:01:02
			Ayah number 56.

00:01:04 --> 00:01:07
			The preceding Ayah, they were talking about the

00:01:07 --> 00:01:10
			mistakes that the Mushrikeen had made in their

00:01:10 --> 00:01:11
			ideology, in their thinking.

00:01:12 --> 00:01:14
			And the same theme is continuing for the

00:01:14 --> 00:01:15
			next few verses.

00:01:15 --> 00:01:20
			First of all, about their polytheism, and then

00:01:20 --> 00:01:24
			after that, their attitude towards having daughters instead

00:01:24 --> 00:01:29
			of sons, and the ignorance surrounding that whole

00:01:29 --> 00:01:32
			issue, that will be, inshallah, mentioned in today's

00:01:32 --> 00:01:32
			lesson.

00:01:32 --> 00:01:37
			So, Allah says, وَيَجَعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا يَعَلَمُونَ نَصِيبًا

00:01:37 --> 00:01:41
			مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ And they make, meaning the Mushrikeen,

00:01:41 --> 00:01:47
			the polytheists, they make for those that they

00:01:47 --> 00:01:48
			do not know.

00:01:48 --> 00:01:50
			For that, they do not know.

00:01:51 --> 00:01:55
			Meaning, what is something that you know?

00:01:55 --> 00:01:58
			What is something that is ilm?

00:01:58 --> 00:01:59
			What is knowledge?

00:02:00 --> 00:02:02
			Knowledge is something that is certain.

00:02:04 --> 00:02:06
			Something that is factual.

00:02:07 --> 00:02:08
			Something that is true.

00:02:09 --> 00:02:12
			If something is not true, then that's not

00:02:12 --> 00:02:12
			knowledge.

00:02:13 --> 00:02:14
			That's falsehood.

00:02:15 --> 00:02:17
			It is against the concept of knowledge.

00:02:17 --> 00:02:20
			When you say that you know something, it

00:02:20 --> 00:02:23
			is because you know something true.

00:02:23 --> 00:02:23
			Something that happens.

00:02:24 --> 00:02:27
			Something that is factual in your life.

00:02:28 --> 00:02:31
			So, Allah is saying, لِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ They

00:02:31 --> 00:02:34
			make for those that they do not know.

00:02:34 --> 00:02:38
			Meaning, the statues, the idols that they associate

00:02:38 --> 00:02:39
			partners with Allah with.

00:02:40 --> 00:02:41
			What do they make?

00:02:41 --> 00:02:43
			For those that they don't know, those idols,

00:02:43 --> 00:02:45
			They make naseeban.

00:02:46 --> 00:02:47
			They give them a share.

00:02:47 --> 00:02:50
			مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ From what we have given them.

00:02:50 --> 00:02:52
			From what Allah has given them.

00:02:52 --> 00:02:56
			So, what was the habit of the Mushrikeen?

00:02:56 --> 00:02:59
			They used to say that part of this

00:02:59 --> 00:03:02
			animal, for example, they slaughter a camel.

00:03:02 --> 00:03:04
			And they say that part of this camel

00:03:04 --> 00:03:07
			is going to be for our gods.

00:03:07 --> 00:03:10
			Or they say that this camel, after it

00:03:10 --> 00:03:19
			is given birth to so many young, What

00:03:19 --> 00:03:21
			we are going to do is, we are

00:03:21 --> 00:03:24
			going to just make it for our gods.

00:03:24 --> 00:03:26
			We are not going to take from its

00:03:26 --> 00:03:26
			milk.

00:03:26 --> 00:03:28
			And we are not going to consume it.

00:03:28 --> 00:03:30
			That is free to go.

00:03:30 --> 00:03:32
			And we are not going to do anything

00:03:32 --> 00:03:32
			with it.

00:03:32 --> 00:03:35
			So, this was the attitude of those people

00:03:35 --> 00:03:36
			at the time.

00:03:36 --> 00:03:39
			This was obviously an ignorance on their part.

00:03:39 --> 00:03:43
			So, Allah said that they are making a

00:03:43 --> 00:03:44
			share for those that they don't know, Meaning

00:03:44 --> 00:03:47
			the idols that they don't know, meaning they

00:03:47 --> 00:03:48
			are not true.

00:03:48 --> 00:03:49
			They are making a share.

00:03:50 --> 00:03:53
			And on top of that, مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ It

00:03:53 --> 00:03:59
			is not something that they produced or they

00:03:59 --> 00:03:59
			made.

00:03:59 --> 00:04:02
			This is the sustenance that Allah SWT has

00:04:02 --> 00:04:03
			given them.

00:04:03 --> 00:04:05
			And on top of that, they are disobeying

00:04:05 --> 00:04:11
			Allah SWT in the issue of the rizq

00:04:11 --> 00:04:13
			and the sustenance that was given to them

00:04:13 --> 00:04:14
			by Allah SWT.

00:04:15 --> 00:04:18
			They are associating partners with that Allah who

00:04:18 --> 00:04:20
			gave them that rizq in the first place.

00:04:20 --> 00:04:22
			So, مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ That is why Allah SWT

00:04:22 --> 00:04:23
			used this wording.

00:04:24 --> 00:04:28
			Again, وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِمَا لَا يَعْلَمُونَ نَصِيبًا مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ

00:04:28 --> 00:04:31
			They are making for those that they do

00:04:31 --> 00:04:34
			not know, for that which they do not

00:04:34 --> 00:04:37
			know, meaning the idols, a share, مِمَّا رَزَقْنَاهُمْ

00:04:37 --> 00:04:40
			from that which we gave to them, which

00:04:40 --> 00:04:41
			Allah SWT gave to them.

00:04:42 --> 00:04:45
			Allah SWT declares about this issue.

00:04:45 --> 00:04:45
			What does He say?

00:04:46 --> 00:04:49
			دَلَّهِ دَلَّهِ means I swear by Allah.

00:04:49 --> 00:04:51
			Allah is swearing by Himself here.

00:04:51 --> 00:04:54
			It is very rare that Allah SWT uses

00:04:54 --> 00:04:57
			His own name to take an oath in

00:04:57 --> 00:04:58
			the Quran.

00:04:58 --> 00:05:01
			So, it means that this is a very

00:05:01 --> 00:05:01
			powerful oath.

00:05:02 --> 00:05:04
			There are three words of Qasam in Arabic.

00:05:07 --> 00:05:14
			بِاللَّهِ بَا بِاللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ If you have ever

00:05:14 --> 00:05:18
			had a discussion with some African people, they

00:05:18 --> 00:05:20
			actually, when they want to really emphasize something,

00:05:21 --> 00:05:21
			they use all three.

00:05:22 --> 00:05:27
			وَاللَّهِ بِاللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ Especially Nigerian Muslim brothers, they

00:05:27 --> 00:05:27
			use all three.

00:05:27 --> 00:05:31
			Usually, you probably heard the word وَاللَّهِ when

00:05:31 --> 00:05:32
			somebody is taking an oath, right?

00:05:33 --> 00:05:35
			But all three are actually used.

00:05:35 --> 00:05:39
			وَاللَّهِ بِاللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ And here, Allah is using

00:05:39 --> 00:05:43
			the word وَاللَّهِ وَاللَّهِ I swear by Allah.

00:05:43 --> 00:05:44
			Allah is swearing by Himself.

00:05:45 --> 00:05:49
			لَتُسْأَلُنَّ عَمَّا كُنْتُمْ تَفْتَرُونَ Most certainly, you are

00:05:49 --> 00:05:52
			going to be questioned about these accusations, these

00:05:52 --> 00:05:54
			false accusations that you made.

00:05:54 --> 00:05:56
			So, you invented these things.

00:05:56 --> 00:05:58
			You invented this shirk.

00:05:58 --> 00:05:59
			And you invented idols.

00:05:59 --> 00:06:00
			And you invented their share.

00:06:01 --> 00:06:02
			This share for this idol.

00:06:02 --> 00:06:03
			And this share for this idol.

00:06:04 --> 00:06:08
			And, you know, you basically reject Allah SWT

00:06:08 --> 00:06:10
			in place of these idols.

00:06:14 --> 00:06:15
			And there is another verse in the Qur

00:06:15 --> 00:06:16
			'an in Surah Al-An'am.

00:06:17 --> 00:06:20
			Allah SWT says that they say هَذَا لِلَّهِ

00:06:20 --> 00:06:24
			بِزَعْمِهِمْ وَهَذَا لِشُرَكَئِنَا When they are making a

00:06:24 --> 00:06:26
			Sadaqah, They say, this portion is for Allah.

00:06:27 --> 00:06:32
			And this is for our other idols, for

00:06:32 --> 00:06:33
			our other gods.

00:06:33 --> 00:06:35
			And then on top of that, they said

00:06:35 --> 00:06:38
			فَمَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ فَهُوَ يَصِلُ إِلَىٰ شُرَكَئِهِمْ Whatever

00:06:38 --> 00:06:42
			they allocated for Allah SWT, that went to

00:06:42 --> 00:06:44
			their shuraka, to their idols.

00:06:44 --> 00:06:47
			وَمَا كَانَ لِشُرَكَئِهِمْ فَلَا يَصِلُوا إِلَىٰ اللَّهِ And

00:06:47 --> 00:06:50
			whatever they allocated for their partners, for the

00:06:50 --> 00:06:53
			partners, for the shirk that they were committing,

00:06:53 --> 00:06:54
			it did not go to Allah SWT.

00:06:55 --> 00:06:57
			Very confused thinking on their part.

00:06:58 --> 00:07:00
			But Inshallah, we will continue with the verses

00:07:00 --> 00:07:01
			here.

00:07:02 --> 00:07:02
			What was the next thing?

00:07:03 --> 00:07:04
			What was the next Jahalat that the people

00:07:04 --> 00:07:05
			were involved in?

00:07:05 --> 00:07:08
			The issue of the daughters.

00:07:09 --> 00:07:12
			So, they didn't want daughters for themselves, but

00:07:12 --> 00:07:15
			on the other hand, they said about Allah

00:07:15 --> 00:07:17
			SWT that the angels are the daughters of

00:07:17 --> 00:07:18
			Allah SWT.

00:07:19 --> 00:07:23
			So again, Allah SWT has no sons, no

00:07:23 --> 00:07:25
			daughters, no children, no partner, nothing.

00:07:26 --> 00:07:29
			But the Mushrikeen, they said that the angels

00:07:29 --> 00:07:32
			are the daughters of Allah SWT.

00:07:32 --> 00:07:33
			So, this is the next verse.

00:07:34 --> 00:07:37
			وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ الْبَنَاتِ And they are making for

00:07:37 --> 00:07:39
			Allah SWT daughters.

00:07:40 --> 00:07:42
			سُبْحَانَهُ Allah SWT is pure from this.

00:07:43 --> 00:07:45
			Meaning, He doesn't have any partners, doesn't have

00:07:45 --> 00:07:46
			any children.

00:07:46 --> 00:07:47
			He is pure from this.

00:07:48 --> 00:07:50
			وَلَهُمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ And for them is what they

00:07:50 --> 00:07:51
			want.

00:07:52 --> 00:07:55
			This يَشْتَهُونَ This word يَشْتَهُونَ is from the

00:07:55 --> 00:07:58
			word شَهْوَة شَهْوَة, something that you desire.

00:07:59 --> 00:08:00
			Something that you really want.

00:08:01 --> 00:08:03
			So, for them is what they want.

00:08:03 --> 00:08:04
			What is what they want?

00:08:05 --> 00:08:05
			Boys.

00:08:06 --> 00:08:07
			They wanted boys for themselves.

00:08:08 --> 00:08:11
			So, for Allah, they said He has daughters

00:08:11 --> 00:08:13
			and they don't want daughters themselves.

00:08:13 --> 00:08:17
			And for them, for themselves, they want boys

00:08:17 --> 00:08:17
			for themselves.

00:08:17 --> 00:08:21
			وَلَهُمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ And then it goes on to

00:08:21 --> 00:08:25
			say, وَإِذَا بُشِّرَ أَحَدُهُمْ بِالْأُنثَىٰ ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًا

00:08:25 --> 00:08:28
			وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ And when any of them is

00:08:28 --> 00:08:32
			given the good news, good news, Allah SWT

00:08:32 --> 00:08:33
			describes it as good news.

00:08:34 --> 00:08:36
			بُشِّرَ is from the word بَشَارَ بَشَارَ means

00:08:36 --> 00:08:37
			good news.

00:08:37 --> 00:08:39
			When any of them is given the good

00:08:39 --> 00:08:43
			news, بِالْأُنثَىٰ that they've been blessed with a

00:08:43 --> 00:08:47
			girl, ظَلَّ وَجْهُهُ مُسْوَدًا His face becomes dark,

00:08:48 --> 00:08:52
			meaning sullen, gloomy, sad, upset.

00:08:52 --> 00:08:56
			وَلَّ وَجْهُ مُسْوَدًا وَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ And he is

00:08:56 --> 00:08:58
			also كظيم at the same time.

00:08:58 --> 00:08:59
			What is the word كظيم?

00:08:59 --> 00:09:02
			كظيم means to swallow something, to swallow anger.

00:09:02 --> 00:09:05
			وَالْكَوْظِمِينَ الْغَيْظِ And it's actually, this word is

00:09:05 --> 00:09:11
			derived from the كظم كظم means that when

00:09:11 --> 00:09:15
			you fill this leather bottle, you know the,

00:09:15 --> 00:09:16
			what do you call, in Urdu you call

00:09:16 --> 00:09:19
			it مشكيزة and in Arabic it's called قربة.

00:09:19 --> 00:09:22
			So if you fill it up, it basically,

00:09:23 --> 00:09:25
			it's very flexible, right?

00:09:25 --> 00:09:27
			If you have a soft bottle for example,

00:09:27 --> 00:09:29
			if you try to fill a plastic bag

00:09:29 --> 00:09:31
			up, this would be something that we would

00:09:31 --> 00:09:32
			understand.

00:09:32 --> 00:09:34
			But in the old days they had leather

00:09:34 --> 00:09:36
			pouches or leather water bottles.

00:09:36 --> 00:09:38
			So if you fill it up, it kind

00:09:38 --> 00:09:41
			of moves all around and if you kind

00:09:41 --> 00:09:43
			of squeeze it, then the water, it flows

00:09:43 --> 00:09:44
			off the top.

00:09:45 --> 00:09:48
			So كظم means to tie the top of

00:09:48 --> 00:09:50
			this water bottle up.

00:09:50 --> 00:09:53
			And when you tie this water bottle up

00:09:53 --> 00:09:56
			tightly, what happens is the remainder of it,

00:09:56 --> 00:09:59
			it becomes very, it expands.

00:10:00 --> 00:10:02
			And expands to such a degree that it

00:10:02 --> 00:10:03
			looks like it's almost about to burst.

00:10:04 --> 00:10:05
			You squeeze it and then you tie it

00:10:05 --> 00:10:08
			up, it becomes very filled up.

00:10:08 --> 00:10:13
			So that's why the word كظم الغيظ means

00:10:13 --> 00:10:17
			to basically swallow the anger even though it's

00:10:17 --> 00:10:18
			really bursting inside of you.

00:10:19 --> 00:10:21
			This is what كظم الغيظ means, to swallow

00:10:21 --> 00:10:21
			the anger.

00:10:22 --> 00:10:25
			So he goes around and he has this

00:10:25 --> 00:10:29
			sad face, he's upset و هو كظيم and

00:10:29 --> 00:10:31
			he is trying to hide his frustration as

00:10:31 --> 00:10:32
			much as possible.

00:10:33 --> 00:10:35
			So he is upset that he has been

00:10:35 --> 00:10:37
			given the news that he just had a

00:10:37 --> 00:10:39
			baby girl in his house.

00:10:40 --> 00:10:41
			Almost to explode.

00:10:44 --> 00:10:46
			So there's another verse in the Quran, Allah

00:10:46 --> 00:10:50
			SWT says about this issue of having children.

00:11:02 --> 00:11:05
			Allah SWT, His is the kingdoms of the

00:11:05 --> 00:11:06
			heavens and the earth.

00:11:07 --> 00:11:09
			Allah says that he gives females to whom

00:11:09 --> 00:11:10
			he wants.

00:11:10 --> 00:11:12
			So the first mention is for females.

00:11:17 --> 00:11:19
			And he gives males to whom he wants.

00:11:20 --> 00:11:23
			So the first females, then ذُكُور, males.

00:11:26 --> 00:11:29
			Or he gives them pairs, males and females,

00:11:29 --> 00:11:31
			either in the form of twins.

00:11:31 --> 00:11:33
			Sometimes you have twins, male and female twins,

00:11:34 --> 00:11:37
			or one male, one female, one after the

00:11:37 --> 00:11:37
			other.

00:11:37 --> 00:11:40
			Allah SWT blesses people with both of them.

00:11:41 --> 00:11:43
			And there's a wisdom behind this from Allah

00:11:43 --> 00:11:44
			SWT.

00:11:45 --> 00:11:48
			There's a balance that Allah SWT has made

00:11:48 --> 00:11:50
			in this world that sometimes he gives boys,

00:11:50 --> 00:11:53
			sometimes he gives girls and that whole balance

00:11:53 --> 00:12:00
			and reproduction, marrying and having children, having future

00:12:00 --> 00:12:03
			generations, all of that is associated with this

00:12:03 --> 00:12:05
			balance that Allah SWT has created.

00:12:05 --> 00:12:07
			So not everybody can have boys.

00:12:08 --> 00:12:11
			And unfortunately in some countries where this issue

00:12:11 --> 00:12:16
			of abortion and scanning is prevalent and some

00:12:16 --> 00:12:18
			people find out that they're about to have

00:12:18 --> 00:12:19
			a girl, they abort the fetus.

00:12:20 --> 00:12:22
			It is creating an imbalance in the society.

00:12:22 --> 00:12:26
			In China, for example, it's creating an imbalance.

00:12:26 --> 00:12:29
			In India, it's very prevalent also that if

00:12:29 --> 00:12:31
			a girl is about to be born, they

00:12:31 --> 00:12:32
			abort the fetus.

00:12:32 --> 00:12:34
			And when they are about to have a

00:12:34 --> 00:12:35
			boy, they let the boy become born.

00:12:36 --> 00:12:37
			So it's creating an imbalance.

00:12:38 --> 00:12:43
			So the fact that Allah SWT has made

00:12:43 --> 00:12:46
			this system in place, it is for a

00:12:46 --> 00:12:46
			reason.

00:12:46 --> 00:12:49
			So nobody should feel upset if he has

00:12:49 --> 00:12:50
			a girl.

00:12:50 --> 00:12:52
			And in fact, there are many hadiths which

00:12:52 --> 00:12:54
			talk about a person who is, if he

00:12:54 --> 00:12:56
			is blessed with a girl, this is actually

00:12:56 --> 00:12:58
			a blessing from Allah SWT.

00:12:58 --> 00:13:02
			The Prophet SAW said, the person who has

00:13:02 --> 00:13:05
			three daughters and Allah SWT blesses him with

00:13:05 --> 00:13:08
			three daughters and he teaches them, he gives

00:13:08 --> 00:13:10
			them a good tarbiyah, and then he marries

00:13:10 --> 00:13:12
			them off into a good household, he will

00:13:12 --> 00:13:13
			get Jannah.

00:13:13 --> 00:13:15
			So for three, the Prophet SAW mentioned.

00:13:16 --> 00:13:19
			So the Sahaba said, what about if a

00:13:19 --> 00:13:19
			person has two?

00:13:20 --> 00:13:23
			So the Prophet SAW said, even if a

00:13:23 --> 00:13:24
			person has two daughters.

00:13:25 --> 00:13:29
			And then the Sahaba said, we didn't ask

00:13:29 --> 00:13:30
			him about one daughter.

00:13:31 --> 00:13:34
			But the point was that the Prophet SAW

00:13:34 --> 00:13:36
			was trying to emphasize to the people that

00:13:36 --> 00:13:38
			having a daughter is a blessing in your

00:13:38 --> 00:13:38
			house.

00:13:39 --> 00:13:40
			You should not feel that it's a bad

00:13:40 --> 00:13:40
			thing.

00:13:41 --> 00:13:44
			And unfortunately, in many cultures, in many societies,

00:13:44 --> 00:13:48
			even Muslim societies, we have this attitude of,

00:13:48 --> 00:13:52
			if it's a boy, you will distribute sweets

00:13:52 --> 00:13:52
			and become happy.

00:13:53 --> 00:13:55
			And if it's a girl, you don't distribute

00:13:55 --> 00:13:55
			sweets.

00:13:56 --> 00:13:58
			And this is prevalent in Pakistan and India,

00:13:59 --> 00:14:00
			even to this day, unfortunately.

00:14:01 --> 00:14:04
			So there's another hadith in which the Prophet

00:14:04 --> 00:14:07
			SAW said, that I love women and I

00:14:07 --> 00:14:08
			love perfume.

00:14:09 --> 00:14:11
			So the Prophet SAW loving women is not

00:14:11 --> 00:14:14
			in a perverted way.

00:14:14 --> 00:14:17
			Okay, that somebody might, who has a bad

00:14:17 --> 00:14:21
			and a polluted mind, might think that that's

00:14:21 --> 00:14:23
			what the Prophet SAW was trying to say

00:14:23 --> 00:14:24
			in a bad way.

00:14:25 --> 00:14:28
			No, he said it because in those days,

00:14:28 --> 00:14:32
			the women were downtrodden and oppressed and people

00:14:32 --> 00:14:33
			hated them, didn't like them.

00:14:34 --> 00:14:36
			So he being the leader of the community

00:14:36 --> 00:14:40
			was emphasizing that I love the women, those

00:14:40 --> 00:14:42
			women that you hate, those women that you

00:14:42 --> 00:14:45
			despise, those daughters that you bury alive, I

00:14:45 --> 00:14:46
			love those women.

00:14:46 --> 00:14:49
			So basically he's setting an example for everybody

00:14:49 --> 00:14:52
			to follow that nobody should oppress women and

00:14:52 --> 00:14:53
			nobody should look down upon women.

00:14:54 --> 00:14:58
			So again, our attitude towards having daughters should

00:14:58 --> 00:15:01
			not be negative, we should always regard it

00:15:01 --> 00:15:02
			in a positive way, Inshallah.

00:15:03 --> 00:15:10
			So the ayat goes on to say, Again

00:15:10 --> 00:15:15
			Allah SWT used the word, He hides from

00:15:15 --> 00:15:18
			the people because of what he perceives to

00:15:18 --> 00:15:24
			be bad, because of the badness of what

00:15:24 --> 00:15:26
			he has been given the good news of.

00:15:26 --> 00:15:29
			So he hides because he's so ashamed to

00:15:29 --> 00:15:31
			show his face in public that he has

00:15:31 --> 00:15:32
			a daughter in his house.

00:15:32 --> 00:15:35
			He goes around hiding and he doesn't want

00:15:35 --> 00:15:36
			to show his face in public.

00:15:36 --> 00:15:38
			This was the attitude that they had.

00:15:42 --> 00:15:48
			Should he hold, keep this child, This hun

00:15:48 --> 00:15:51
			means disgrace and from this word we get

00:15:51 --> 00:15:54
			the word ihana, ihana in Urdu we use

00:15:54 --> 00:15:55
			this word.

00:15:56 --> 00:15:59
			So a person, he thinks to himself, should

00:15:59 --> 00:16:02
			he just keep this child despite the disgrace

00:16:02 --> 00:16:06
			associated with it or should he just bury

00:16:06 --> 00:16:08
			it alive in the dirt.

00:16:09 --> 00:16:11
			So this was the attitude that they had.

00:16:11 --> 00:16:14
			Both situations they used to consider.

00:16:15 --> 00:16:20
			Disgrace, shame, and keep the child, that's bad

00:16:20 --> 00:16:24
			and also burying is bad, but both options

00:16:24 --> 00:16:27
			were open to them and both options were

00:16:27 --> 00:16:28
			considered, Subhanallah.

00:16:30 --> 00:16:33
			Allah SWT says, be aware that what a

00:16:33 --> 00:16:36
			bad judgment that they have and what a

00:16:36 --> 00:16:38
			bad judgment they are following.

00:16:38 --> 00:16:43
			This is again the jahala that they had

00:16:43 --> 00:16:44
			in those days.

00:16:44 --> 00:16:52
			Allah SWT describes in Surah Qawirat And when

00:16:52 --> 00:16:55
			the girl that was buried alive she will

00:16:55 --> 00:16:57
			be questioned on the day of judgment.

00:16:59 --> 00:17:00
			For what sin was she killed?

00:17:02 --> 00:17:04
			So the question is, why does Allah SWT

00:17:04 --> 00:17:07
			say that the girl, she will be questioned

00:17:07 --> 00:17:08
			by Allah SWT.

00:17:10 --> 00:17:11
			She was innocent.

00:17:12 --> 00:17:14
			She wasn't the one that got herself buried

00:17:14 --> 00:17:14
			alive.

00:17:15 --> 00:17:16
			She was innocent.

00:17:16 --> 00:17:17
			So why she will be questioned?

00:17:18 --> 00:17:20
			To embarrass the person who is standing next

00:17:20 --> 00:17:22
			to her on the day of judgment who

00:17:22 --> 00:17:23
			buried her alive.

00:17:24 --> 00:17:24
			To embarrass him.

00:17:26 --> 00:17:27
			For what sin was she killed?

00:17:28 --> 00:17:30
			She will say, I didn't commit any sins.

00:17:30 --> 00:17:31
			I was innocent.

00:17:31 --> 00:17:33
			I was a newborn child.

00:17:33 --> 00:17:35
			I could have committed any sins.

00:17:36 --> 00:17:38
			So the person who actually buried her alive

00:17:38 --> 00:17:40
			he is going to be even more embarrassed

00:17:40 --> 00:17:42
			about what he did in this world.

00:17:43 --> 00:17:46
			So in any case, this is again the

00:17:46 --> 00:17:48
			ignorance that those people were guilty of in

00:17:48 --> 00:17:49
			those days.

00:17:50 --> 00:17:55
			Allah SWT goes on to say So those

00:17:55 --> 00:17:58
			people that don't have Iman in the hereafter

00:17:58 --> 00:18:00
			they have a very bad example.

00:18:00 --> 00:18:03
			Meaning that obviously if a person doesn't have

00:18:03 --> 00:18:05
			Iman in the hereafter then there is no

00:18:05 --> 00:18:06
			fear of consequence.

00:18:07 --> 00:18:09
			There is no fear of repercussions.

00:18:09 --> 00:18:10
			There is no fear of punishment.

00:18:11 --> 00:18:13
			So when there is no fear of being

00:18:13 --> 00:18:16
			questioned by Allah SWT in the hereafter that

00:18:16 --> 00:18:18
			means the person can do whatever he likes

00:18:18 --> 00:18:21
			in this world because he is not going

00:18:21 --> 00:18:22
			to be punished according to his belief.

00:18:23 --> 00:18:26
			So they will lead the worst lifestyle.

00:18:26 --> 00:18:29
			This is what is meant by They are

00:18:29 --> 00:18:30
			the worst example.

00:18:32 --> 00:18:35
			And for Allah is the best example.

00:18:35 --> 00:18:38
			Meaning that whatever Allah SWT teaches, whatever he

00:18:38 --> 00:18:41
			orders, whatever he commands all his teachings in

00:18:41 --> 00:18:43
			the Quran, in the sunnah of the Prophet

00:18:43 --> 00:18:47
			SAW, if we follow them This is the

00:18:47 --> 00:18:49
			best of examples.

00:18:49 --> 00:18:52
			So this is the attitude that we are

00:18:52 --> 00:18:54
			supposed to have in completing the commands of

00:18:54 --> 00:18:57
			Allah SWT and staying away from his disobedience

00:18:57 --> 00:19:03
			He is the almighty and always wise.

00:19:04 --> 00:19:05
			With that inshallah we finish today's lesson.

00:19:05 --> 00:19:07
			I pray that Allah SWT gives us the

00:19:07 --> 00:19:09
			tawfiq to understand and practice what has been

00:19:09 --> 00:19:10
			said and heard.
