It's a pleasure for me to be once again back to London, especially herro after a span of eight months.

00:08:40--> 00:08:43

The topic of this evening's talk is

00:08:44--> 00:08:47

seeking knowledge in the light of Islam.

00:08:48--> 00:09:08

Your children are an Amana give them the best education for both the worlds it is a long topic, but it basically dealing with seeking knowledge in light of Islam, and that our children are in a manner to give them the best education for both the worlds

00:09:09--> 00:09:10

Allah subhanho wa Taala

00:09:12--> 00:09:41

in the Glorious Quran, the first guidance that he gave to the whole of humankind, it was not to pray. It was not to fast, it was not to perform Hajj. But the first guidance given by Allah subhana wa Taala in the Glorious Quran, to the whole of humankind was Accra. It was read, it was to recite, it was to proclaim and I start my talk by quoting a few verses from the Quran from Surah chapter 96

00:09:43--> 00:09:59

was the one to five well Mrs. ekra Miss Mira because Allah tala insana min Allah, Allah, Allah Allah Allah Allah, Allah insha Allah Allah May Allah, which means read, recite and proclaim in the name of the Lord who

00:10:00--> 00:10:13

created, who has created the human beings from something which clings Alicia like substance? Read, the Lord is most bountiful. He who has taught the use of pen has taught men that which you do not.

00:10:15--> 00:10:23

Do Allah subhana wa Taala has given us the first guidance in the Glorious Quran that we should read. But unfortunately,

00:10:24--> 00:10:25

we realize

00:10:27--> 00:10:30

that the Muslims in the Muslim community, everyone

00:10:32--> 00:11:01

does not read. And those Muslims who are involved in acquiring knowledge in reading, they don't read as per the guidance of Allah subhanaw taala. Allah does not say only read, Allah says ekra Miss Mira because he cannot read in the name of the Lord. So when we read, when we acquire knowledge, we should acquire knowledge in such a way that we come closer to our Creator Allah subhanho wa Taala. If the knowledge

00:11:02--> 00:11:09

does not bring you closer towards your Creator towards the rub, then that knowledge is not useful for the acara.

00:11:11--> 00:11:21

And our beloved Prophet, masala Salim said, it's to say Hadith, which mentioned him nomada Hadith number 224. Our beloved Prophet said,

00:11:22--> 00:11:25

Taliban ilmi seeking knowledge

00:11:26--> 00:11:27

for Allah, Allah Muslim

00:11:29--> 00:11:36

is obligatory on every Muslim seeking knowledge is obligated on every Muslim man or woman.

00:11:37--> 00:11:41

It's compulsory that every Muslim should acquire knowledge.

00:11:44--> 00:11:50

And it is the duty of Muslims to see to it, that we acquire knowledge.

00:11:51--> 00:12:01

Many of us, we think that knowledge is only what we study in schools, and colleges and universities.

00:12:03--> 00:12:04

education and knowledge

00:12:05--> 00:12:06

starts at home.

00:12:08--> 00:12:10

And the best teacher is the mother.

00:12:12--> 00:12:20

It is the duty of the parents to see to it, that they properly educate the children see to it, that they give them proper education.

00:12:22--> 00:12:35

Because the child when he or she is born, they are not responsible for the environment in which they're born. It is the duty of the parents to see to it that irrespective of the environment, they give them proper education.

00:12:37--> 00:12:40

And today we find that there are various societies

00:12:42--> 00:12:51

and the various ways of life in these societies. We have the Islamic way of life. We have the western way of life. And we have a variety of different ways of life.

00:12:52--> 00:13:00

As far as Islam is concerned, Islam is a complete way of life. it caters both

00:13:01--> 00:13:05

to the spiritual aspect of the soul, as well as the physical aspect of the body.

00:13:07--> 00:13:15

And Allah says in the Quran in surah majda, chapter number five, verse number three, on this day, have I completed your region for you,

00:13:16--> 00:13:27

and have completed my favor for you, and if chosen for you, Islam. So once Islam is completed, nothing new can be added or subtracted from it. Our Deen is complete.

00:13:28--> 00:13:41

So as far as the way of life is concerned, Islam is a complete way of life. When we mix Islam with the other societies, and other ways of life, and other cultures,

00:13:42--> 00:13:43

whichever culture we're living in,

00:13:45--> 00:13:53

if that part of the culture is not against Islamic Sharia is not against the Quran and the Hadith.

00:13:54--> 00:13:55

We do not mind

00:13:56--> 00:14:07

following or agreeing with that culture. But if that culture, if the society goes against Quran and Hadith, we should not follow it. Islam is number one.

00:14:10--> 00:14:18

And now we find that many times while upbringing our children, we have a problem, because of the differences in societies and cultures.

00:14:20--> 00:14:22

And we're aware of the Western society,

00:14:24--> 00:14:30

as many of the Muslims, they live in Western society. And we find that

00:14:31--> 00:14:34

though the rest of society is advanced

00:14:35--> 00:14:41

in science and technology, but as far as moral values are concerned, they are declining.

00:14:42--> 00:14:54

We find in the Western society, that alcoholism only increase drug addiction only increase oxidative on the increase. Adult is on the increase. rape is on the increase. Crime is on the increase.

00:14:56--> 00:15:00

While educating our children we should see to it that we give them

00:15:00--> 00:15:23

them a proper Islamic education. And while we train them and bring them in a Western society or any society in the world, it may be in eastern society also, we should see to it that we should make them a good Muslim. That is, one who submits his will to Allah subhanho wa Taala. Islam comes from the root word Salaam,

00:15:24--> 00:15:25

which means peace.

00:15:26--> 00:16:00

It's also derived from the Arabic word film, which means to submit your will to Allah subhanho wa Taala. So Islam means peace acquired by submitting a will to Allah subhanaw taala and any person who acquires peace by submitting evil to Allah subhanho wa Taala he is called as a Muslim. While educating our children, we should see to it that we should not get so much impressed by the Western society, we should only take the correct values from the society. We don't want our children to become alcoholics. To become drug addicts.

00:16:02--> 00:16:09

To become adulterers, to become rapists. We want them to be good Muslims who submit their will to Allah subhanho wa Taala.

00:16:11--> 00:16:13

And our beloved prophet masala Salaam said

00:16:14--> 00:16:18

that every child, he is born in the new fifth,

00:16:19--> 00:16:22

they will fit means the innate religion.

00:16:24--> 00:16:33

Every child is born as a Muslim. He submitted with Allah subhanho wa Taala. Later on the elders, the parents, the teachers,

00:16:34--> 00:17:10

they influence the child. He may remain on the straight path or he may become a fire worshiper, he may become an idol worshipper. And then he may go outside the fold of Islam. But every child initially irrespective whether he's born in a Hindu family, whether it's born a Christian family, a Jewish family or a Muslim family, he is born as a Muslim, he submits to Allah subhanho wa Taala later on by the influence of other people, parents, teachers, elders, he may go on the wrong track. That's the reason whenever any non Muslim, he accepts Islam,

00:17:12--> 00:17:14

the more appropriate and correct word is revert.

00:17:15--> 00:17:24

He was on the straight path, he went on the wrong track, and then he came back on the straight path on the straight track. So the correct word is revert.

00:17:25--> 00:17:26

And

00:17:27--> 00:17:29

we have got proof and evidence

00:17:31--> 00:17:33

that every child is born in the newspaper.

00:17:34--> 00:17:47

They were research is done on two tribes, the kapu tribe and the Australian Aboriginal tribe. These two tribes did not come in contact with modern civilization till as late as 1950.

00:17:48--> 00:18:03

And later on, when researchers went and tried to find out what was their way of life, it was everything of a slump, but in name. They did not call themselves Muslims. But they believed in one God. They believe that God did not have any ideas or images.

00:18:04--> 00:18:06

They believe you are not begotten.

00:18:07--> 00:18:10

When they worship the God they did this to do the prostitution.

00:18:11--> 00:18:26

They were following the basics of Islam, but they didn't call himself Muslims. So if we let a child after he's born, if you do not influence him with any of the teachings, that child will grow up to be a Muslim, that is the new fit in it religion.

00:18:27--> 00:18:38

It is the duty of the parents, that once the child is born, they should see to it that they give that child a proper environment to live and continue life.

00:18:39--> 00:18:46

It is the duty of the parents that they should see to it, that they give proper education to the children.

00:18:47--> 00:18:52

And many of us, we are worried about the education of our children.

00:18:55--> 00:18:58

I would like to ask a question that

00:18:59--> 00:19:00

when is the time

00:19:01--> 00:19:17

you should start thinking about educating your child. What is the right time? Can anyone give the answer that Richard the right time? When do you start thinking what do you want to make your child? What do you want to make him more should you be in life, which is the right time?

00:19:20--> 00:19:21

The right time.

00:19:26--> 00:19:27

Right from the beginning.

00:19:30--> 00:19:31

As soon as he understands.

00:19:34--> 00:19:34

Sorry.

00:19:35--> 00:19:39

When he starts to think to get a child, he may start thinking after 10 years

00:19:41--> 00:19:42

which is the right time.

00:19:43--> 00:19:59

Seven years old, two years old when he can understand when he's born one year old. One year old. Fine. Yeah, we have different options here. Some anything three years old, three years old, summarizing three years or something two years or one year or something when he's born.

00:20:00--> 00:20:01

islamically

00:20:03--> 00:20:06

the time to think of educating your child.

00:20:07--> 00:20:13

The latest you should think, latest Maxim is when you choose your life partner.

00:20:15--> 00:20:18

When you choose your life partner, is the time.

00:20:23--> 00:20:28

You have to think about educating a child, because the parents are the best teacher, especially the mother.

00:20:29--> 00:20:49

That is the time if you want to make your child Islamic, we should see that you have a spouse who's Islamic. If you don't have Islamic spouse, how would you expect a child to be Islamic? So depending upon how you want to bring your child is the time you start thinking when you choose a life partner. That does not mean already those are married to choose a new life partner.

00:20:50--> 00:20:53

Some people ask me now I'm already married, what should I do?

00:20:55--> 00:20:56

It is better late than never.

00:20:57--> 00:21:22

You can start molding your life partner into that style. No problem you can adapt with this life partner. So you should realize that the best time to start thinking about educating your child the latest is when you choose a life partner. As I was saying, our beloved Prophet, masala Salim said, it's to say Hadith, which mentioned him no matter how did number 224 our beloved Prophet said

00:21:23--> 00:21:26

Taliban ilmi seeking knowledge

00:21:27--> 00:21:28

for Allah Allah Muslim

00:21:30--> 00:21:40

is obligatory on every Muslim seeking knowledge is obligated on every Muslim man or woman. Now when we give knowledge to our children,

00:21:42--> 00:21:48

we have to see to it that we give them proper knowledge. Knowledge can be broadly divided into two types.

00:21:49--> 00:21:57

One is the basic knowledge of Islam and second knowledge, what is required by the community. It is the duty of every parent

00:21:58--> 00:22:33

that he should educate the children with the proper Islamic knowledge. Number one, most important is tauheed. That believing in Allah subhanho wa Taala. And we should not associate partners with anyone to Allah subhanho wa Taala, Allah subhanaw taala should not be associated with anyone else. tauheed number one, then all the pillars, which most of us know, but we should impart it in the right way to our children, about Salah about Zakat about Hajj, about fasting is very important.

00:22:34--> 00:22:37

And but natural knowledge of the Quran.

00:22:38--> 00:22:46

This Quran is the last and final revelation of Allah subhanho wa Taala which was revealed to the last and final messenger Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

00:22:47--> 00:22:49

Yesterday in Bedford

00:22:50--> 00:23:20

had a talk on Al Quran should it be added to the understanding and the tools they the best gift that a parent can give to the child is the Quran and make the child understand the Quran. Most of us Muslims, we teach our children to read Arabic, they can read Arabic but they can understand if we teach them the language of the Quran, the Arabic as a language, that is the best gift you can give and inshallah towards the end of my talk, I will deal in discuss with that in detail.

00:23:21--> 00:23:28

The second type of knowledge is a knowledge required by the community. Knowledge it makes a person a doctor

00:23:29--> 00:24:13

makes a person an engineer, a lawyer, a scientist, an agriculturist. This is required for the betterment of the community, for the betterment of the society. But when we are acquiring the second type of knowledge, we should see to it, that when we acquire scientific knowledge, when we learn about mathematics, geography, history, this knowledge should get you closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala should not take you away from Allah subhanho wa Taala if this knowledge takes you away from Allah subhanaw taala that knowledge is not correct knowledge. It's not correct education, it should bring you closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala. For example, when we learn medicine, we learn how to

00:24:13--> 00:24:19

save the lives of 1000s of human beings. But in that same medical knowledge.

00:24:21--> 00:24:27

When we learn how to do abortion, there are youngsters voting dinner, and then they want to abort.

00:24:28--> 00:24:34

So using this knowledge, for activities, which are wrong, we should abstain from that

00:24:35--> 00:24:59

abortion for saving the life of the mother. If she has a health problem, Islam gives permission other Allah says in Surah, chapter number 17, verse number 31. And so the Anam chapter number six, verse number 151, that killed not to children for one, two systems, killing of children is prohibited. So whatever knowledge you acquire, it should be for the betterment of humanity and get you closer to Allah subhanho wa Taala whatever model

00:25:00--> 00:25:14

values we are learning, we should see to it that when we put our children in the school that school should have bring the children properly. Imagine if we put our children in the convent school

00:25:16--> 00:25:27

many of those values don't match with the value of Allah subhanho wa Taala. It is like we are tying the hands and legs of our children and putting them in water and asking them to swim.

00:25:29--> 00:25:30

How is this done?

00:25:31--> 00:25:34

So when we put them in a school seat when you put them in a proper school,

00:25:37--> 00:25:39

if the culture and society and the school

00:25:40--> 00:25:51

teaches you manners, it should be good Islamic manners. Nowadays we find that in the Western culture, they say that manners is building old age homes.

00:25:53--> 00:25:55

Islam has got no place for all the tombs

00:25:57--> 00:26:02

because Islam believes that we should love and respect our parents and there are several verses in the Quran.

00:26:03--> 00:26:15

Through Look man, Chapter 31 verse 15, Sudan Cabo chapter number two and verse number eight, sorry, Anam, chapter number six Muslim 151 seven verses we say that we have enjoyed on the human beings that will be blind and good to your parents.

00:26:16--> 00:26:22

And a beloved partner masala Salim said, as mentioned, say Bukhari run number eight.

00:26:23--> 00:26:37

In the book of Isaiah, chapter number 200. Number two, the person who approached the prophet and he asked him, that who deserves the maximum love and companionship in the world. So the Prophet said,

00:26:38--> 00:26:55

Your mother, the man asked after the two, the prophet again repeated your mother, the man asked after that to again The Prophet said for the third time your mother, the man asked after that, then the Prophet said, your father 75%

00:26:56--> 00:27:09

of the love and companionship goes to the mother 25% one foot goes to the Father, in short, mother gets a gold medal, she gets the silver medal, as well as the bronze medal, the father has to be satisfied with the mere consolation prize.

00:27:11--> 00:27:20

So Islam teaches that we have to love our parents. And especially as far as companionship is concerned, the mother gets three times more.

00:27:23--> 00:27:33

So in Islam, there is no place for old age homes. So whatever manners and etiquette that we teach our children, it should be in line with what our Creator Allah subhanaw taala wants

00:27:35--> 00:27:40

and we find today that Muslims are in the firing line,

00:27:41--> 00:28:03

we find that Muslims have become backward as far as science technology is concerned, as far as education is concerned. And the main reason is, because we have gone away from the Quran and Sunnah. Previously, from the eighth to the 12th century, it was called as the Dark Ages, that for whom, that for the Europeans,

00:28:05--> 00:28:08

the amount of advances the Muslim Arabs made, it is phenomenal.

00:28:09--> 00:28:14

And if we read history, what we read in school, I myself have passed from a convent school.

00:28:16--> 00:28:19

A Christian missionary school, I've got medication from there.

00:28:20--> 00:28:33

It later on. Afterwards, I realized that what I read in school, and in my medical college, having a medical doctor, many things is something different. We are taught in school,

00:28:34--> 00:28:35

that the blood circulation

00:28:36--> 00:28:39

was first discovered Miriam Javi.

00:28:40--> 00:29:12

In fact, I've read the Quran. Quran speaks about the blood circulation. In chapter 16, verse number 66, how does the food enter into the stomach? Then from there, it goes into Stein from the understand why the bloodstream to various organs of the body, including the mammary gland, which responsible for the production of me, it speaks about the production of milk and about the blood circulation. In a nutshell in a nutshell, Chapter 16 verse 66. After research I came to know that the first human being who first described the blood circulation was

00:29:14--> 00:29:20

600 years after the Quran was revealed, and 400 years before William Harvey, but when we read in our textbook,

00:29:22--> 00:29:27

we are told about William Harvey, how many of us know about evenin affise How many of us

00:29:28--> 00:29:56

hardly anyone knows that it may not be for the first person to describe the population. We learn about geography, but the person who do the first world map of geography was allydrew see 1154 what we studied the digits in school, you know what's this called? It is called as Arabic numerals. The 1234 that we use for writing 1234 it is called as Arabic numerals. The other is Roman numerals.

00:29:57--> 00:30:00

The Indians were the people before

00:30:00--> 00:30:15

discovered about the zero and that took it from there and made it famous to the world by adding a decimal. That's how we have the system today. We learn in mathematics, about the Pythagoras theorem, that the square of the hypotenuse

00:30:16--> 00:30:27

in a triangle is equal to the sum of the square of the other two sides. The Pythagoras theorem that we learn in school, it was first discovered by L to see.

00:30:29--> 00:30:37

So we know that Muslims few centuries back they were advanced in science and technology. But when we read in our textbook today, they hardly mentioned

00:30:40--> 00:30:42

who is the father of trigonometry Bruni?

00:30:44--> 00:30:50

Have you heard of Al Kindi al Kindi wrote 200 works in mathematics and geometry

00:30:51--> 00:31:08

in logic, and at a time when Galileo discourteous and Newton, when they said that all physical laws absolute, he said that it was relative. Later on Albert Einstein did more research and he propounded the theory of relativity.

00:31:10--> 00:31:24

When we read history, we come to know that Muhammad Ahmed and Hassan Shakur, these brothers, they measured the surface area of the earth by measuring angle 100 C, at a time, when people thought the world was flat.

00:31:26--> 00:31:27

We learn chemistry

00:31:29--> 00:31:41

and we are told that devil is the person who discovered alcohol. It is Java and Java. When the right in our textbook is Gerber Gerber sounds like a Westerner Gerber, it is JavaScript Nyan.

00:31:42--> 00:31:53

When we read we think what's the western a giver, giver, and JavaScript nihan. He discovered alcohol. And the word alcohol comes from the Arabic word alcohol meaning evil spirit.

00:31:55--> 00:31:58

When we history we come to know about mama Zakaria Razi,

00:31:59--> 00:32:06

he was advanced in the field of medicine, and even wrote books on measles and smallpox.

00:32:08--> 00:32:09

When we read medicine,

00:32:11--> 00:32:13

we know that Alinea boss,

00:32:14--> 00:32:17

he wrote 20 volumes on practice and theory of medicine.

00:32:19--> 00:32:31

We are told about everything. Everything that the Irish total of the East, it is aliveness enough aliveness enough. He was called as the Aristotle of the East, you're the philosopher, you're the mathematician.

00:32:32--> 00:32:54

So when we go back to history, and we see that we Muslims, we're on top of the world. The reason we want top of the world at that time, is because at that time, we were close to the Quran and Sunnah. Now, we have gone away from Quran and Sunnah. And that the reason we are in the firing line, we should see to it that we are bringing our children close to the Quran and the Hadith.

00:32:55--> 00:32:59

It is the duty that we give our children proper education.

00:33:00--> 00:33:08

That is the reason I say that your children are your Amana. See to it, you give them proper education

00:33:09--> 00:33:10

for both the worlds

00:33:11--> 00:33:12

and

00:33:13--> 00:33:17

this was the dilemma that I faced, maybe eight years back

00:33:19--> 00:33:22

and door umbrella.

00:33:23--> 00:33:33

I used to give talks on education. And I did take time to choose my life partner because I'm on the right life partner. And finally Allah gave me Alhamdulillah. And

00:33:34--> 00:33:58

when the children are born, my eldest son is 12 years old. And I always had that thing that we should have a proper School, which has a striking balance between the Islamic education and the formula education. I don't call mathematics, science, a secular education, because secular by definition means nothing to do with God, I believe times believes in God.

00:33:59--> 00:34:19

Mathematics is Islamic subject. So therefore, when I talk about the other conventional subjects, I call them formula education, mathematics, science, history, geography English, we call it as forming subjects. So I always had that dream, that to have a school, which has the striking balance

00:34:20--> 00:34:21

between

00:34:22--> 00:34:23

the Islamic subjects

00:34:24--> 00:34:31

Islamic education, and the formula education, mathematics, science history, according to me as part of Islam.

00:34:32--> 00:34:41

And that made me to the world. And I did a survey and umbrella of most of the Islamic schools at that time.

00:34:42--> 00:34:59

That was about six to eight years back in a span of two three years, Mashallah. I went to most of the best schools of the world, and America, and Canada, and UK, and South Africa, and Australia and Malaysia, and I visited hundreds of

00:35:01--> 00:35:11

And when I observed that in the Western countries, most of the Islamic schools, almost all, they were more of a Muslim managed school.

00:35:13--> 00:35:22

Muslim, many school means the management was Muslim, but I would not call them as Islamic schools. Because we realized that in the Western world,

00:35:23--> 00:35:26

there is a fear of alcoholism,

00:35:27--> 00:36:12

of drug addiction, about opportunity. So in the schools, we found that the desk code that the students for their Islamic job Mashallah, there the time for prayer for Salah Hamdulillah, there was no alcohol, there was no law. So that was what was called an Islamic school. We're back in India, most of the Muslim many schools, there's Islamic discord, you can offer Salah there is no alcohol there is no drug. So I did not find something new. But hamdulillah considering the western country, where drug addiction is common alcoholism is common. obscenity is common. It is an achievement, which I was happy. But what I came to search for, that when our children go to school, they should

00:36:12--> 00:36:16

get the best of knowledge. I could not find any of the schools.

00:36:17--> 00:36:29

What do you wanted that we have? Now, the Muslim Ummah, rather divided into two types of education, one type of education when we have secular education, they acquire

00:36:30--> 00:36:56

the so called secular education, which I call the formula education, they acquire knowledge of mathematics, science, history, geography, but they are far away from the deen. On the other hand, when we go to a madrasahs, which teach about Quran, Hadith, Sharia, and under the law, May Allah give them an award, but they are unaware of mathematics, science, history, geography. So we wanted a balance between the two,

00:36:57--> 00:37:16

to have the best of both, which, when visited most of the schools that I visited, now the thing is changing. In the past six years, I realized that some schools have become slightly closer Hamdulillah, to the concept that I have. But most of these schools, they may be having maybe three periods a week,

00:37:18--> 00:37:18

on Islam,

00:37:19--> 00:37:23

or maybe one period a day maximum I came across was two periods a day

00:37:24--> 00:37:26

on Islam. And

00:37:28--> 00:38:02

what was the main objective, that a child when he passes from school, you should have the knowledge of Quran and the Sharia, and science etc, that I could not find the best of schools in America in South Africa, which is supposed to be very much determined in this field of Islamic schools, UK, Australia, Malaysia, etc. So that we thought that let's make an effort. And with Allah cell formula, V in Bombay Alhamdulillah, about approximately six years back, or other five and a half years back, we launched our own Islamic school by the name of Islamic International School.

00:38:03--> 00:38:05

Because for my children here to do it,

00:38:07--> 00:38:46

that was prepared to sit with that get up my child, though putting in a convent school by giving all the so called education at home. But then we thought that we should make a Sunday school and hamdulillah Al Hamdulillah. You be venture with this project in Bombay. And Allah helped us and with Allah support below in the school, and hamdulillah from day one, the response that we received from the people of Bombay, for the Muslim the Bombay was tremendous, Mashallah. The response was such that the school absolutely knew, we hardly publicized it, we decided to start the school, there was only three weeks publicity, Mashallah. But immediately when the school was launched, the amount of

00:38:46--> 00:39:06

response we got was phenomenal. And it was overwhelming that ministers they phoned our school to see to it, that some of the friends get admission to the school. It was good Mashallah, you will hardly find a minister phoning your mother in law and telling them you know, I want to see it in your mother in law. We find that in the convent school

00:39:07--> 00:39:24

in India, most of the convent school, the ministers phone, and they try and use the influence. But 100 of you are very strict, as far as admission committee is concerned, we are very strict with the guidelines. And unless a person fulfills our guidelines, let me administer sinasabi on your admission Alhamdulillah.

00:39:25--> 00:39:50

The difference that is there that we appreciated that the movement that was started by many of the philanthropists and education destroyed the world. It was a good movement, at least giving them an environment of Islam. So I was really happy that in the Western countries, whether it be USA, UK, there were schools in which a child could at least practice Islam. When the school that we launched,

00:39:51--> 00:39:52

we had a different system we had

00:39:53--> 00:40:00

that I wanted a striking balance when a child passes the standard. He should become an

00:40:00--> 00:40:04

At least an average alum many passes from the room, as well as

00:40:06--> 00:40:08

be able to compete with the best performing schools

00:40:10--> 00:40:20

in the city. That was the aim. And with that target besides the school, and we did many unconventional things, which people told it's not possible. But 100 Allah said

00:40:22--> 00:40:38

the timing of a school is quite long. It starts from eight o'clock before 24 nursery it is less. We started school from nursery from the age of three. And the first day we had nursery Jr, kg SR kg and first and then only for classes only for grades.

00:40:40--> 00:40:54

And the timing from first onwards. First upwards is from 800 to 430. And we present the timing is too long. Students won't be able to take it, or hamdulillah we divide the day into 12 periods.

00:40:55--> 00:41:32

Each of the five minutes on an average two periods every day are for extracurricular activities, martial arts, whether it be Taekwondo, Judo, swimming, whether it be computers, and all the extracurricular activities on an average two periods a day every child is compulsory, should learn swimming, Taekwondo, Judo, martial arts for the boys football etc. And the balance 10 periods, five periods in English, and five in Arabic. Our school has a dual minimum instruction, English and Arabic. Arabic is the language of the Quran.

00:41:33--> 00:41:51

It is the language in which the last and final revelation was revealed. We realize I realized the drawback that because our parents did not think it important that we should learn Arabic language. We know it's a drawback, even today. So if you understand to it, that our children our next generation,

00:41:52--> 00:41:58

they should know Arabic as the mother tongue. So five periods in Arabic, five and English.

00:41:59--> 00:42:23

But natural, the five periods that are then Arabic, the Islamic, whether the Arabic language, whether it be hills, whether it be Tel Aviv, whether it be Hadid, whether it be kuranda seed, and all the Islamic studies that we have, when we give the defeat of the Quran, it's not in English, or do like back home in India, Pakistan, we have Islamic Studies.

00:42:25--> 00:42:32

In the Western countries, we either have or we have an English there, we have an Arabic, Arabic, Arabic.

00:42:33--> 00:43:18

So the child from the age of three, when he joins nursery school, he starts learning Arabic When we teach him a fall before Bismillah along with that min alpha sudden, minbar by tone menta tufan. So from the age of three, the child is ingrained with the Arabic language. And in the Arabic period, the children cannot speak English, they should only speak Arabic. In the English period, only English no Arabic And most of Arabic teachers, they have gone to Saudi Arabia, and they've graduate from the Islamic University of Medina. So that even the pronunciation is correct. Besides the Arabic period that is there, the five periods in English one period everyday is Islamic Studies in English,

00:43:19--> 00:43:19

that's an hour

00:43:21--> 00:43:28

will the child when he does dhaba with non Muslim, it remaining Michigan when Arabic the very few Arab non Muslims.

00:43:30--> 00:43:38

So one period is Islamic Studies in English. The balance for periods of an average is maths, English geography,

00:43:39--> 00:43:54

history, science, etc. and do the periods to analyze the five pillars in English is very less. But we have been able to achieve this because the ratio of our teacher to student is very low. In Bombay on average,

00:43:55--> 00:44:01

on average, in Bombay, one school, each class has 50 students, some of what 60 Some have got 70 some of

00:44:03--> 00:44:35

the good schools have got 50 very few schools have less than 50. And for every two classes in the average three teachers that means each teacher the ratio of teacher and student is about 30 to 35 every 30 to 35 students are one teacher in Bombay and in India, if you go in the villages, it is much higher. Everyone teachers are 50 students on average. And the international standard says that it should be managed to 20 the good private schools in Lucca, USA, they have every teacher

00:44:36--> 00:44:37

has got 10 students on average.

00:44:39--> 00:44:44

The good private schools, we in Bombay, we have every five student one teacher.

00:44:46--> 00:44:48

Each class has got 20 students

00:44:50--> 00:44:52

on average somewhat at some of our 19.

00:44:54--> 00:44:59

But at times, for example when there are classes of his so in that class of 20 students

00:45:00--> 00:45:12

There will be five cameras coming in curries. So, each batch will have about four students. So, when we have certain classes, it breaks up so that the leaves is better,

00:45:13--> 00:45:19

the concentration is better so the child can learn faster in our school, his is compulsory, the standard three,

00:45:21--> 00:45:42

this standard three, the child in nursery genetic AG, he starts the Asakura he does the novel of the Quran in syndicate, he started doing his in SR kg on average SR kg he memorizes half just first, second and third every year one and a half years. So, by the time the child completes standard three,

00:45:44--> 00:45:55

he memorizes at least five years, some remember six, some seven, some even before after that, it is optional. Those people who feel

00:45:56--> 00:46:18

have good memory, we select them maybe 25% 14213 of the students and we call them one hour 15 minutes earlier. So instead of coming in eight o'clock in the morning from four standard, they come at seven. Now when the HIV class in the morning is conducted after third standard for one carry, there are two students maximum.

00:46:19--> 00:46:27

So the ratio of the carrier and the students in the higher classes reduced one guy one student or one carry two students maximum

00:46:28--> 00:46:37

and only because it comes one hour 15 minutes early in the morning, does this ohana 10 minutes in a year on an average that child memorizes five juice.

00:46:39--> 00:46:44

So by the time he completes the next five years, at the end of each standard, he memorizes the complete Quran.

00:46:48--> 00:47:17

The sofa Mashallah via the sixth standard, in the fifth standard, according to our normal course, the child should memorize 15 years, but many students Mashallah at the end of fifth standard memorize 18 years, some 19 Some even 20 so my son who's now in the sixth is only 12 years old, Mashallah he knows more than me, he knows 20 Jews, I don't know that much. I'm gonna have a look around his karate better than mine. He can somehow be better than me. He can send the Quran directly, I can't.

00:47:18--> 00:47:31

So we want every child in our school to be better than what I was when I was in school. And inshallah minimum minimum, every child in our school minimum is 100 times better than what I was when I was a child.

00:47:35--> 00:47:42

We want every child in the school should be multiple times like me, I'm not the target, I am not the aim.

00:47:44--> 00:47:51

I am not the sample, we want them to be multiple times better. So what we could not get in our childhood and with Allah help

00:47:52--> 00:48:03

Alhamdulillah whatever we achieved, we feel that if we educate our children in the right way, right from the childhood, inshallah inshallah you will find the change in the next generation.

00:48:07--> 00:48:38

We always had a target, that if we have to change the society, we do projects the short term, we have taught them Dharma courses and our foundation assemblies Association, which is a crash course for 40 days. Maybe you change buildings from different parts of the world. We have international our training program for 40 days, where we select the best people, one from UK, one from USA, from Singapore, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, etc. And we give them a comprehensive training course. But this cooling of 13 years is a full fledged our training program according to me

00:48:39--> 00:49:05

and in our school, Mashallah. We see to it that when they are trained, not only do they learn about Quran, and Islam, they have been told about Christianity, about Judaism, about Hinduism, about Buddhism. inshallah, when a child passes school, he will be far superior than an average Christian what he has knowledge about Christianity, what the average Hindu has knowledge about Hinduism, what the average you have knowledge about Judaism.

00:49:10--> 00:49:34

The main aim of the school is to make dice and see to it that the follow the commands of Allah subhana wa Taala. So in our school Mashallah domain two languages are English and Arabic. We also start from the fourth standard, third standard is in the fourth is older and 50, the local language of the state that a Marathi these children Mashallah they're trained in a way that

00:49:35--> 00:49:36

they know the values of life

00:49:37--> 00:50:00

and we find that many a time Mashallah these children, they put us to shame. They put us to shame and made it and when we go out and the children Mashallah them assume, and that reminds me that once had gone to meet a very big businessman, a top businessman in Bombay, very big businessman, and when I met him, I had my son with me, that me on the second standard, and the businessman was smoking.

00:50:01--> 00:50:02

So, my son said uncle

00:50:04--> 00:50:21

smoking is haram finish, I would think 10 times you know, because I you know, to say directly you have to see for the situation and we see whether what is the right time they should not feel hurt, etc will think 10 times how to say when to say what to say. And the young child said, and the person put off his cigarette immediately.

00:50:23--> 00:50:23

Easy.

00:50:25--> 00:51:09

So, Mashallah, we should see to it, that we should have vision of how we want our children and what they should become. We have a concept that on average, when we have four divisions, if 100 students pass out, in a year from school, 50% may go in the mainstream, may become doctors, engineers, lawyers, but when they become doctors, they'll be true Muslim doctors having knowledge of Islam, to Muslim engineers, to Muslim businessman 50% may go and Islamic field may become by more this professor may take up teaching Islamic teaching Alhamdulillah so in this way, can we change the next generation, we can keep on cribbing about what's happening, we should make a beginning and in this

00:51:09--> 00:51:13

way, Mashallah. The main success that I feel

00:51:14--> 00:51:39

of the school is that our interviews are very strict. The interviews we conduct are so strict that the rules that we started, the rules are unheard of, we broke most of the conventional pattern. Normally, for the students, there were three interviews, the child and even the parents I interviewed the father and the mother, they are trying to go to interviews of average of one and a half hour each and the final interviews taken by me

00:51:40--> 00:51:43

and hamdulillah in the second year, we had 800 applications

00:51:45--> 00:51:57

75 seats 800 applications. So most of the years, we have 10 times more number of application than the number of seats. And let me tell you, our school is one of the most expensive schools in Mumbai

00:52:01--> 00:52:29

the fy 2000 rupees a month, which is very expensive average fees in Bombay 100 150 rupees the good convent schools, they charge 1000 rupee one and 1000 rupees, are they 25,000 rupees that is 600 US dollars? No, no, there are other schools which are much expensive. But Islamic school Mashallah So, not that it is cheap, but yet no poor person can say that I did not get admission because I did not have money, we have 25% scholarship quota,

00:52:31--> 00:52:54

the 25% of the seats, if the person does not pay a single rupee a month, he can get admission, but 25% of the seats have been reserved for poor children. So in our school, we have Mashallah parents who are earning more than a CRO per month, there may be millionaires that are, they be earning a million pounds, then there are some students whose parents earn 3000 rupees.

00:52:55--> 00:53:36

But when we get scholarship, we transfer that amount of fees into the current account. When they get the money, they come and pay full fees to the cashier. So even the cashier does not know who the scholarship child, it's only the management. Me, My wife was the principal, and a few others who know who are scholarship children. So even the teachers don't know the scholarship child. So we maintain that secrecy to return for the money in the account. They come and pay full fees. So even the cashier does not know so that we have a proper system and equality while teaching. When we have the formula education, mathematics, history, science, geography, we see to it that in this when we

00:53:36--> 00:54:18

teach we incorporate 25% Islamic, for example, when we teach science, we talk about the big bang theory that a few decades earlier, the scientists discovered how did our universe come into existence. First there was a primary Nebula, then there was a secondary separation, which gave rise to galaxies, the stars, the planets and the earth on which we live. Then we say this is mentioned in the Quran 1400 years ago in Surah ambia chapter number 21 was the mentality of Allah, Allah, Xena, kafu do not the unbeliever see anathema watever cannot construct nakoma that the heavens and the earth were joined together and we closed them asunder. Now this what the scientists have discovered

00:54:18--> 00:54:21

recently, the Quran mentioned 1400 years ago about the Big Bang.

00:54:22--> 00:54:35

So in this way, the child comes closer to Allah subhanaw taala at the same time is being educated about science. We tell them that the first person who described the blood circulation, it wasn't manifest.

00:54:36--> 00:54:39

Later on William Harvey made it famous to the Western world.

00:54:40--> 00:54:58

We even teach them Darwin's theory. Unlike the other schools, I realized that in some Western countries, a child goes to the normal Convent School, government school in the evening, he goes to evening madrasahs. So in the morning, he's taught that the human beings have been cleared from monkey and the evening is told that the first man is out the minister lamb

00:54:59--> 00:55:00

in the morning

00:55:00--> 00:55:35

He's taught that Russia is very good interest you can become a great businessman wealthy person. In the evening you start Riba interest is haram. So that dichotomy, there'll be confusion in the mind of the children. That does not mean don't send your children to mothers or mothers or kondalilla they should continue better send them then don't send Don't get me wrong. The mothers are very good Mashallah. And for it, I'm not against it. But we have to keep on improving the standards to whatever doing Mashallah, they're doing a good work. When I go to mothers, I tell them that you incorporate English there, you incorporate the former subjects. So when there is a different

00:55:35--> 00:55:39

teaching in the morning and the evening, the child is confused.

00:55:40--> 00:55:46

So when we teach signs, we see to it that we incorporate and tell them even Quranic verses a to that

00:55:48--> 00:55:59

Quran speaks about watercycle about geography, salt, and Sweetwater. Quran speaks about geology and molecules are what routes and many thing which is not mentioned the textbook, the teachers they are trained,

00:56:00--> 00:56:02

they're trained how to teach.

00:56:03--> 00:56:42

And in this way, out of this normal formal education 25% Islam is even incorporated when we teach them mathematics, science, history, geography, etc. We have taken the normal syllabus igcc following that syllabus, and even incorporate in Islamic Studies, both in Arabic and English. So that when the child appears, he appears for the normal examination, that is the Central Board examination, after a passes that you can take a medicine, take up engineering, or become a lawyer or a businessman or come to the mainstream of Islamic Studies, no problem, he had this choice.

00:56:43--> 00:57:23

And what we are doing that again, contact Mashallah with those people who are experts in the world, as Allah says in the Quran in surah, Chapter 16, verse 43, and chapter number 21, verse number seven, first aloha degree in cuando, la de la moon, that if you don't know as the person knowledgeable, so we are in touch with the knowledgeable people from different parts of the world. We are in touch with the local experts of Medina city of makara, etc, when touch so that whatever thing that we want to put it into practice in our school, we consult with the experts, but we are doing many things which are unconventional. Many people told me Roberto Zakat, it's not possible.

00:57:23--> 00:57:29

You can't have two screens at the same time. It's not possible please make dua

00:57:30--> 00:58:14

at least make dua inshallah. So, what we want to do we want to give a sample role model to the oma, that is possible. Though many people majority said it is not possible, but Allah Muhammad Allah, if you meet the parents, and if you see the annual de CD of a program, then you come to know hamdulillah that what is the level of education Mashallah. So as I was telling, the main thing is interview when we interview the parents, we are very strict. We are very careful that we see to it that the parents have the same thinking as the management and we are very strict. In the first year. When we started the school. We are a clause compulsory that the mothers should do his job.

00:58:16--> 00:58:39

More than 50% of the mothers in the first year of our school, they were not doing the job, but within one month's time, Mashallah all of them had to do a job. Now, when they want to admit the child, they do feel okay if you want to get admission to some international school, we have to do the job. So before coming to the interview, they have a job that train because they want admission in our school. So they do a survey. What is the requirement of the school?

00:58:40--> 00:58:48

We have what Mashallah millionaire parents are businessmen. What business tycoons. When they come for the interview, we asked them, How many times do you have a Salah, so they tell us to makishima

00:58:50--> 00:59:14

so we tell them, brother, then don't admit your child in the school, go and put them in a convent school. He says Why? Because we will teach your child it's mentioned inside Muslim. The difference between a man and a Salah maybe your child after three, four years we call you a coffee. Therefore don't put him in a school put them in a convent school. They said no, we want admission here. We will offer Salah we will offer five times Allah didn't give it in writing.

00:59:16--> 00:59:18

So it's compulsory, that

00:59:21--> 00:59:25

100% of the parents, they give in writing that they will offer Salah five times.

00:59:26--> 00:59:49

Believe me, we did not know that we could actually pressurize the parents of blackmail them. When the Christian missionaries are blackmailing our Muslim children, our Muslim parents in Bombay, they are paying 5000 pounds 10,000 pounds to get admission. And after paying that money as bribe every day, our children they're saying Jesus Christ peace be upon him is God.

00:59:50--> 00:59:58

So when the Christian missionaries can fold them to do sci fi can be forced to do something with this earth. And believe me, we have been very successful.

00:59:59--> 00:59:59

We know it is

01:00:00--> 01:00:08

Not allowed by this government and that government, but hamdulillah Al Hamdulillah. So Mashallah even the multi millionaire

01:00:09--> 01:00:46

he went for the interview, we tell him interview, take time, be prepared at least four or five hours and you will be interviewed for about one and a half to two hours. And Mashallah, we have a big questionnaire. And we explained to them the concept of the school, and we tell them that the satellite television is a big site on to the cable TV, satellite TV should not be in your house, TV is not around, but the cable TV, the satellite TV is a big site. And normally we find that we know that in the western statistics, the average in America a child sits in front of the TV for approximately seven hours on average more time than he spends in school.

01:00:47--> 01:01:09

Even in India, they spend several hours and what happened you know, when we say that if you want admission, you remove the cable TV, and Mashallah they have to do it otherwise no admission. So because they want, they may not be practicing Muslims, but they have that just bar they have the man they want to put in the school and now it has become a status. Oh my son got admission into is status.

01:01:10--> 01:01:33

Allah. Allah has given us that status. So to get admission means it's the status. I got admission in Islamic international school, I passed the interview. So then we realized that once the cable TV is out, and it's compulsory that the parents the mother should attend every week, our Islamic lectures campus at least once, Father twice a month compulsory, if you don't have time, then no admission.

01:01:35--> 01:02:11

So even the parents have been ingrained. It's the package. We are not only telling the students, we have been telling the parents we don't want that we trained the child. And after 13 years, the father says okay, now go into business. Okay, start giving, bribe it cetera. So we want to see to it, we don't want to pour water on a duck's back. Chances are that 50% we will lose our children. Because finally the parents control them. So we even changed the parents. And if we know that the parent is doing is not good will tell you there are some people who have bought businesses, maybe they're working in bank, I will tell them working in bank,

01:02:13--> 01:02:22

maybe your child once after four or five years, he will cause you trouble. So see to change your job fast, so knowingly very well. Yet they want to put the children in school.

01:02:24--> 01:02:33

And the point to be noted here is that after a few months, then the husband comes and tells us you know my wife, she has stopped watching TV now she gives me more time.

01:02:34--> 01:02:45

So even the family life improves. We have got stipulated conditions before admission, that minimum 20 minutes every day, there should be a family reading of the Quran along with translation.

01:02:47--> 01:03:13

Every day, compulsory, the father should attend twice a month, our lectures in which we talk about Islam, the mothers once a week, when this way, Mashallah even the environment becomes Islamic. Then, besides the parents, even the other siblings come, even the grandparents come. So it is rather changing the society. And we found that when we visited the western schools, had gone to South Africa, and had gone to one of the best schools in South Africa about 60 years back.

01:03:14--> 01:03:46

I don't even the school, the principal of the school told me that but as a kid, we are at the mercy of the parents. We have to force them to come and take admission, though our fee is half then the other private schools, but then they blackmail us. If we don't have too many things. They will go to the government school will go to the right school. And he told me our students in the age standard nine standard girls. One evening, we went to hotel and we found our girls wearing miniskirts and shorts and dancing. Imagine one of the best schools in South Africa.

01:03:48--> 01:03:50

And the parents were called the parents were blackmailing.

01:03:52--> 01:04:16

We are too strict children from year to year in our school, we blackmail the parents, but natural for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala anyway, the school is out of business. So what fees we take we are spending from our own pocket. So it's not a business please don't get me wrong. The school IRF always everything free. The school is the first thing we are charging money. But even those who are paying full fees, we are subsidizing the fees.

01:04:17--> 01:04:21

So in this way, Mashallah. We want to create a new society.

01:04:23--> 01:04:59

And what we feel that most of the organization that start it's a one man show, after the person goes away, those thing goes down. Most of the Muslim organization you see, it's a one man show, that person goes through the organization falls down. So we see to it that we require backups. At present marcellina Foundation is some of the foundation we have more than 15 speakers, Mashallah besides myself, and some of them travel in different parts of the world. They have been to UK, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, South Africa Cerebus Mashallah. And these children Mashallah, they are our future generation and if you see the annual data

01:05:00--> 01:05:19

We have in the annual day when we have skits normally most of the schools their fancy does that a person maybe made us up like Michael Jackson or made us up like maybe Sunil Gavaskar or whatever it is, you're in our concert Mashallah one person becomes he imitates chicks today's

01:05:21--> 01:05:36

man like chick emoji that you know, in this way Mashallah we find that the role models of our children, the present age role models for our children, they are not the pop stars and pop singers and film actors. They are like shakes like shake me

01:05:38--> 01:05:45

whether Bilal Philips so yeah, we find that we should ingrain in our children that what should they become and the crop.

01:05:46--> 01:06:05

And Marcia life you see that these children, they are taught public speaking right from jr kg, from the age of four, that taught to stand in front of the microphone. And they are taught how to speak on the microphone. Most of our speakers I'm sorry to say they don't know public speaking techniques. What should be the distance from the mic?

01:06:07--> 01:06:30

How's modulation? How should go up how to come down the gestures, the eye to eye contact? See, when a person gives a speech on the stage, the method he speaks carries only 7% marks how much 7% 93% is presentation skills? How do you modulate your gestures, your eye to eye contact, that the reason today actually I'm handicapped the sound system is not good.

01:06:31--> 01:07:12

Is like sending a warrior to a battlefield without weapons. We should be trained that how we should be able to our children right from the age of four. They're trained public speaking in English Arabic. So we want that a future generation that they should be trained. So this was a vision with which we started the school, not knowing whether we'd be successful or not a hamdulillah Allah subhanho wa Taala has been so much helpful and grateful that we got application from different parts of the world from different cities in India. We have an application to start the school in Saudi Arabia and UAE in Yemen in UK and USA several application so far, we have only started one more

01:07:12--> 01:07:13

branch in Chennai

01:07:14--> 01:07:23

and our criterias are very strict Mashallah. So inshallah we feel that every few years will open one school, so that it will be role model for the others.

01:07:24--> 01:07:58

One thing we have to realize that for success, we have to follow the guidance of the Quran and the Hadith. And always, we have to be professional, as Allah says in the Quran in surah, Chapter 16 verse 43. And so the embryo chapter number 21 was number seven. First aloha Zicree in cuando la tala moon, if you don't know as the person who's knowledgeable as the person who possesses the message, via the policy in our organization is obviously foundation. Though we are a very small organization was started 15 years back.

01:08:00--> 01:08:04

And hamdullah we are only one employee. Now we are more than 400 employed full time paid employees.

01:08:06--> 01:08:09

You always believe that we should be professional and

01:08:10--> 01:08:11

all the people

01:08:12--> 01:08:56

that we employ, Mashallah, we have a policy that whatever they're drawing, in Bombay, if they join organization, we give them more. We don't believe that if you're getting 20,000 rupees. So come here for 50% 10,000 rupee fallacy, if even 20,000 rupees will give you 25,000 If only 30 will give you 35 if you're giving 50 will give you 60. But then, you work, you strive in the way of Allah subhanho wa Taala. I don't want the parent phoning me up the doctors in Nigeria Islamic lecture, and now my son is earning half if I give him when the parents are with me, even in our school, Islamic International School, that as far as the teachers, we have watched the conditions even for the

01:08:56--> 01:09:06

teachers, and initially am a nightmare even for the parents. I'm a nightmare even for the teachers. We have so many rules and regulations, someone called the al Qaeda school

01:09:08--> 01:09:45

guy that means you have too many rules and regulations and our teachers Mashallah on an average, we interviewed about two and a half 1000 teachers and selected less than 25.1% the selection similarly for our carries the carry we selected, we interviewed in different parts of India, Lucknow, nada, various parts of recruitment and there to have interviewed more than 4000 cameras. And now we have over 40 carries we have for selection procedure. It is very strict. Less than 1% of the people who interview

01:09:47--> 01:10:00

we take them as our staff. And when you take the staff, the staff we pay them more than what they get outside. We give an open hand in the newspapers that if selected, we will pay you more than what you're drawing that says like that is selected in our

01:10:00--> 01:10:02

School, we will pay you more than what you're trying,

01:10:03--> 01:10:10

irrespective of your earning in any convent school if you're teaching a Muslim teacher, Mashallah. And here

01:10:11--> 01:10:31

the teachers instead of coming for five days they have to come six days a week, five days to teach our children. Our school works from Monday to Thursday. And on Saturday, we have Friday and Sunday holidays, which was very difficult everyone objected initially, that how is this unconventional? Friday and Sunday? Nowhere do we have in the world I said we have it in is

01:10:33--> 01:11:09

and Mashallah in the long run was beneficial. Now the children are fresh to study twice a week, on Saturday and Monday. In the normal schools, they're fresh only on Monday. Yeah, they're fresh twice a week, on Saturday, as well as Monday. And in our school, we have got no homework. Whatever is taught is taught in the school. If there are some children who take late admissions, and if they've missed on the Arabic, they have to come on Sundays, extra hours from eight to one every Sunday to catch up absolutely free. And our teachers, they can find this to teach from Monday to Thursday, and Saturday. And on Friday, they come to be taught.

01:11:10--> 01:11:52

We educate our educators and our school, our teachers, they get training once a week, they have the best of professionals come in to train them. These professionals, they are very well qualified in the field. They may be psychologists, they may be psychiatry, they may be child counselors, they may be nutritious, top people, Indian foreigners, there will be people top non Muslims, we pay them through the noses. We have workshops on Fridays, and we train the teachers even in voice and accent. The voice and accent training we give we spend lakhs of rupees so that they have a neutral accent. And in Bombay channel, in a non Muslim news channel it came the only school which has voice and

01:11:52--> 01:11:56

accent from junior classes is

01:11:57--> 01:12:30

so specialized non Muslim trainers come and train our teachers, they in turn, train the students. So our teachers also Mashallah they have to work hard. We paid them but they work hard. And we are very strict with our rules, Mashallah. And we believe in professionalism. So what happened that by the time they stay at our school, they get trained. Same thing with Akari. Same thing with Arabic Jain teachers. Same thing with Lady teachers. And unless we are professional in our field, we will not get the results. And if we see the annual days that we had the annual day,

01:12:31--> 01:12:42

and we have shown that annually, even on satellite channel movement, we showed on the satellite channel, the annual day of children performing, we got applications from different parts of the world that we want to open a similar school.

01:12:44--> 01:12:50

Now just a few months back, we are in the annual day with the cassette hasn't been released. It is 10 times better than the first one.

01:12:52--> 01:13:01

And hamdulillah there if you analyze, it was for five hours, and only the children performed no adult, no teacher even spoken word.

01:13:02--> 01:13:04

All the children from nursery to standard five.

01:13:05--> 01:13:47

They performed and even they themselves were the compare. They compared the program professionally. Mashallah, they were the compares. They handle everything. Not a single teacher even spoke a word. No one spoke for five hours. Without the break, the audience was glued to the seat, glued five hours imagine our children from the age of three and a half to 11 and a half. They glued the audience for five hours, Mashallah. And what we did, we did not spend a great deal of time, we hardly trained them for three to four weeks. That's it. And in the first week, it was two hours a day, second week was three hours a day, then half a day, last week for three for the day. So they lost about two

01:13:47--> 01:13:56

weeks of the school, on an average, nine working days. But we thought with that we got professionals. We have professional choreographers,

01:13:57--> 01:14:40

whatever Islamic step that we are taking. And when we had the show, we had at our conference, an international novel conference where our students Mashallah as I mentioned earlier, that our country was started by the recipient of shakes a dish, so one of the students desktop that shakes the dish. Then we had Dr. Simon giving a speech and then we had a lot of Philips coming then other speakers for the blue and green, then the other person like me, and my son dressed up like Dr. Zakir Naik. The point to be noted was that we had professional people who do makeup from the film industry and the person who had done if you know about Amitabh Bachchan, who had done the beard Amitabh Bachchan

01:14:40--> 01:14:59

change, you know, change I know we don't get it people say movies, but I was told that the person who did the beard for Amitabh Bachchan in chincha You're the Muslim he happened to be my friend. So we had them Mashallah. And the makeup if you see, I doubt you might have seen anywhere else that young children are of the age of 10 years. 11 years.

01:15:00--> 01:15:37

They performed and my son, he copied the speech, five minutes section of my speech which I gave in London last year, when I come in December for the global unity of peace, the talk I gave at XL theater. And Mashallah with the same type of the same gap, same code, the actions to the teachers train them, the gestures, the way they walk, the way they come to mind the way they adjust the microphone, everything. Similarly with all the other speakers, if the speaker sits and speak, our children also sat and spoke and they were very skits. So if you see the drama if you see the full firewall, you find children right from the age of three and a half job Atlanta performing and

01:15:37--> 01:16:10

there's one section where a person speaking the various languages we teach in our school, English, Arabic, Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, you can see in the skin that our children Mashallah for fluent in all the languages that really impresses the people. But one thing we realize that we should believe in professionalism, and if we see in our school, we have all types of Muslim taking admission. Hanafi Shafi, Weatherby Salafi la dama de Islamic Tablighi, Deobandi bravely, but we say in our school, we follow for an in for now.

01:16:11--> 01:16:18

And we take indicting that we will teach what is mentioned in Quran and Hadith and we make it very clear.

01:16:20--> 01:16:39

We do not believe in dividing Muslims into different sects. Islam is against that Quran is against that Francaise in Sudan, chapter six was 159 that if anyone makes sections of Islam, it is haram prophet of Allah, we have nothing to do with him. So in spite of this, we have the children of the heads of the different Jamaat

01:16:40--> 01:17:10

e Islami Tablighi Jamaat are wanting admission, Mashallah we really feel and you see a cross section of the Muslim Ummah, the rich class, the middle class, the poor class, the different people. And people come from far away areas where they even have to travel two and a half hours. They come from length and breadth of Bombay. The cool is in center, Bombay, people come from Iran or from mumbra, they tell two and a half hours up to and down. And some of the parents when the child is very young, they have to travel a task, up and down to drop two hours up and down to pick up.

01:17:11--> 01:17:27

So here we find that once we give quality people are bound to come to you. One thing is the Muslim oma wants Islamic education, but I believe me, I would not put my son in any of the Muslim schools in Bombay if my school wasn't there.

01:17:29--> 01:17:33

Not that I hate Muslims, I like them, but I want my child to get proper education.

01:17:34--> 01:17:36

The only option I had was to start a school.

01:17:38--> 01:17:50

So you have to realize that there should be demand and whatever activity we do, we always say there should be 10 times minimum, more number of people wanting to take part than the number of seats we have.

01:17:51--> 01:18:23

Always if there is a demand, that Mashallah you can provide quality, and you can get the best out of the people, because they know they have got admission out of a great difficulty. So what we say the follow, if you get easy if it's a walkthrough, then they take it for granted. And to have this model somewhere else. There are many people who copied all our syllabuses. Absolutely anyone can copy it free, no problem, but many people copied hardly anyone came even close to 5% what we're doing well the main thing is not the syllabus, main thing is the management.

01:18:24--> 01:18:51

copying the syllabus is very easy. You can take a syllabus from a good American or British school and thing you can match it main thing is how well you control it. How will you handle it? The management is very important, the management, the teachers, the parents all put together, they should be a combination of everything, everyone should have faith in each other, then only will you really be able to make a difference. And once you have the confidence of the parents inshallah you can do wonders.

01:18:52--> 01:19:24

So many times introduced many things Mashallah always there has been cooperation. So unless you don't have quality, you will not be able to achieve what you're paying for. And this is the principle of Islam to that we believe in quality, anything we do. So inshallah, what we want that our next generation that they should have that love with the last column, so much alive, the Arabic is strong, unlike us, if that'd be strong, they understand the foreign directly, they can implement on the message and they can educate the others.

01:19:25--> 01:19:46

Keeping this in mind, Mashallah, we started the school and with Allah, Allah, we never imagined that we could achieve whatever we have achieved. It basically allows whatever we're doing in IRF. In Bombay, when we look back, we could not have dreamt of doing these things. And the best example of myself during childhood is to stammer.

01:19:47--> 01:20:00

And I was in medical college, I could have thought of becoming the best doctor in my dream. In your dream, you can dream of anything. No one can stop you. But even in my dream, I could not have dreamt of speaking in front of 25 people because I was

01:20:00--> 01:20:04

Mirror. If you'd ask me, What is your name? My name is da da da da da ki

01:20:05--> 01:20:08

imagine Allah subhanho wa Taala. With his help,

01:20:10--> 01:20:21

what is transformed in me? It's a miracle. Now I speak in front of 10,000 20,000 people, 100,000 people, largest audience I've addressed life is 1 million live not on television or live 1 million.

01:20:23--> 01:20:32

And in India, Mashallah audiences always 40,000 50,000 and the way we manage on time, we have 501,000 volunteers, our volunteers,

01:20:33--> 01:20:45

and when we call a guest speaker, that you see that was called Not a single volunteer and shook hands with Dr. Solomon. Not that it didn't like him. They are trained that tender Mujahid

01:20:47--> 01:21:06

they can shift away from the duty, never do the duty. And then we will look at the size everyone. We have word volunteers, doctors engineers measure more than 1000 volunteers here in Bombay. So what do we do? We do professionally, that's the reason in our audiences, more than 25% are non Muslims for the 25%.

01:21:08--> 01:21:10

Then we have 40,000 on a more than 10,000

01:21:11--> 01:21:49

non Muslim more than what Muslims can gather here, we have non Muslim, they're coming for our talks, even on satellite, Mashallah. There's a great percentage of non Muslims watching our programs. And they appreciate Mashallah. So I would like to leave the floor open for the question and session, I would like to end this talk of educating the educators, which was the main theme of this conference, and I chose Harrow to I'm giving talks on every venue different talks. I don't believe in giving the same talk every day. So I chose this when you had the main theme, educate the educators and huddle, and we leave the door open for the question on session, I would like to end my talk with the

01:21:49--> 01:22:02

question of the curious Quran from sort of surah chapter 17 verse 11, Allah says, Behold, Yakuza battle in the Battle of Karnataka, when fostered fostered parishes for foster expansion into Mondo parish wafra down and

01:22:07--> 01:22:14

now we enter into the next part of our program, which is the open question and answer session, which is the most interesting part of doctors lock in next program.

01:22:15--> 01:22:36

And it's also very interactive, and audience, we get a chance to interact with the speaker, and ask questions on whatever spoken in the stock. To analyze this topic adequately, for the audience presented today in the limited time available. We would like the following guidelines to be followed during the question answer session.

01:22:38--> 01:22:41

Kindly state your name and profession before asking the question.

01:22:42--> 01:22:48

You can ask the question on the topic as well as any question on Islam and comparative religion.

01:22:49--> 01:23:16

For your second question, you have to go back of the room and await your second chance to ask a question. non Muslim brothers and sisters present here in the audience will be given first preference. And I will request the volunteers who are on the mics that please check up if there are any non Muslim brothers or sisters in the queue, then please give them first preference, and give them the first chance to ask the question. We have two mics here, one for the sisters on my right and one for the brothers on my left.

01:23:18--> 01:23:30

May we have the first question from the brothers? On mic number one. My name is Mohammed cabanne. I'm an animal student. I know your fashion your speciality is and comparative religions. So my question is going to be on Christianity.

01:23:32--> 01:23:43

A lot of Christians say that Jesus is God. Can you declare any evidence using the Bible to refute this claim? Thank you very much

01:23:44--> 01:24:23

for the question, that many Christians claim that Jesus Christ be to be born with God. So can you refute that from the Bible? Before I give the answer, I would like to make a few points clear that Islam is the only non Christian faith which makes it an article of faith to believe in Jesus Christ peace be upon him. No Muslim is a Muslim. If he does not believe in Jesus Christ, peace be upon him. We believe that he was one of the mightiest messengers of Allah subhanaw taala. We believe that he was born miraculously without any major intervention, which many modern day Christians today do not believe. We believe that he was the Messiah translated Christ. We believe that he gave life to the

01:24:23--> 01:24:59

dead with God's permission. We believe that he is those born blind and lepers with God's permission, the Muslim and the Christian, we are going together. But there is parting of ways. There are many Christians, or most of the Christians who say that Jesus Christ peace be upon him, he claimed divinity. But if you read the Bible, there is not a single unequivocal statement. In the complete Bible, where Jesus Christ peace be upon him himself says that I am God always says worship me. If anyone if any Christian can point out to me any single unequivocal statement

01:25:00--> 01:25:10

from anywhere in the Bible from any version, where Jesus Christ peace be upon himself says unambiguously, unequivocally, that I am God aware. He says, worship me. I am ready to accept Christianity today.

01:25:13--> 01:25:50

When we read the Bible we come to know that Jesus Christ peace be upon him himself said, it's mentioned the gospel of john chapter number 14, verse number 28, Jesus Christ peace be upon him said, My father is greater than I know spell of john chapter number 10 was number 29. My father is greater than all Gospel of Matthew chapter number 12, was number 28. I with the Spirit of God cast out devils Gospel of Luke chapter 11, was number 25, the finger of God cast out devils gospel of john chapter number five was Timothy, I can have my own self do nothing as a judge, and my judgment is just for I see God, my will, but the will of my Father, anyone who says I seek not my will, but

01:25:50--> 01:26:06

the will of Almighty God, he's a Muslim, Jesus Christ, peace be upon him. He was a Muslim. He never claimed divinity is clearly mentioned in the Gospel of john chapter number 14, verse number 24, Jesus Christ peace be upon him said that the word that you are not mine, but my father's who has sent me.

01:26:08--> 01:26:39

And it's mentioned in the book of Acts, chapter number two was the man ready to eat men of Israel? Listen to this, Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God amongst you, by wonders and miracles and signs which God did by him and your witness to it. A man approved of God amongst you by wonders and miracles and signs which God did by manual administrate. So you're when we read the Bible, you come to know that Jesus Christ peace be upon him, he never claimed divinity. He never said he was God. Did he say that you are the Son of God, but he was one of the mighty a messenger of Allah subhanaw taala.

01:26:46--> 01:26:58

I've had many questions on the chicks, but nagasaka always prefers if people can come up to the mic and ask questions and questions written on the papers of paper slips will be given second preference, to please come on the mic and ask question that would be preferable.

01:27:12--> 01:27:29

The brother has a question that I live in a predominantly Hindu society, does it affect my work? Yes, it does. It has me to strive harder, Mashallah. It does affect the place I come from Bombay, it is supposed to be one of the most difficult places where you can do

01:27:30--> 01:28:01

the Bombay city, if anyone knows one of the most difficult places where a person can do Dawa, the organization, the political organizations that are there. There are so much against the Muslims. But Allah says in the Quran in surah imraan chapter number three was the 160 If Allah helps you, then none can overcome you. If Allah forsake you, who is there, then who can help you. So let the believers put the trust in Allah. Allah help is there. It's very easy. Believe me in Bombay while doing Dawa, even though life is in danger.

01:28:10--> 01:28:16

That's all I'm aware of telling you. Nothing I'm telling you. Bombay is the most difficult place to work and

01:28:17--> 01:29:01

it's very difficult yet, in spite of living in such a situation, with Allah help, it is very easy. Imagine I give talks from the past eight years on the cable TV network. We come on more than 1 million homes every day, every day. And in that video, hardcore dava, quoting the Vedas, quoting Bhagavad Gita, quoting the Upanishads Mahabharata, talking about the scriptures and Alhamdulillah when we give talks, Hindus also come in large numbers and we train our people Mashallah. And the students that we have and my colleagues, even they Mashallah can quote, Quran, Hadith Bible, VEDA Rahman, even our children in school, Mashallah, if you see the young children in school, the fifth

01:29:01--> 01:29:05

and sixth standard, they can rattle off chapter number verse number Mashallah that rain?

01:29:10--> 01:29:22

Brother, normally, you should realize we should follow the rules and the regulation of question answer session, it is not a discussion you are having between me and you find your elderly person, we wanted to get the mic to you.

01:29:23--> 01:29:23

Only.

01:29:24--> 01:29:43

The thing is, is that if someone gives a finger should not get then there's rules and regulation are there there are only 15 people standing in the queue there. And one question that you could have asked all the three questions together, while giving a talk if you interrupt in between there it goes against the rules and regulations and a Muslim is supposed to follow the rules and regulation if you are a Muslim.

01:29:45--> 01:29:59

So you should ask together, yes, you should ask together otherwise, you should ask one question go behind the queue and then ask so you should wait for 15 people to finish and then you can ask otherwise it becomes a dialogue. Not that I cannot answer. Not I cannot answer.

01:30:00--> 01:30:24

Regarding the last part because elderly person a man sorry, were we able to convert anyone? We don't want anyone Allah gives a dire we cannot convert anyone. Allah says in the Quran in surah cashapp number 88. Most number 21 for the Quran, amantha Masaki, our job is to deliver the message it's Allah gives a Daya and hamdulillah Allah has given you that the 1000s of non Muslims Mashallah to the IRF we have made this area

01:30:27--> 01:30:27

and if we see

01:30:29--> 01:30:44

and if you see our videotapes Mashallah I've given a talk on similarities between Hinduism and Islam. And Mashallah, when we have in Bombay, we only allow non Muslims to ask questions. Nowadays, Muslims only listen to Muslim law people.

01:30:45--> 01:31:22

Yes, so Mashallah, there's so many non Muslims queuing up that even though we give two to three hours of questioning session, we can complete all the questions. And Mashallah many of them accept Islam on stage. And I was just there yesterday in Birmingham, there was a Muslim who told me that there's Hindu in Leicester, who so much impressed with the talk, that he wants me to come to Leicester, he wants to call all the Hindus of that area, he will finance everything. He wants to give my talk similarities between Hindus and Islam, and inshallah Allah may give him 1000 shortly. But the thing is that we have to convey the message. Allah gives Daya, but we should not be afraid.

01:31:23--> 01:31:26

We should be on lines of Quran and Sunnah and deliver a message of them.

01:31:31--> 01:31:34

Maybe have the next question from the little sister standing over there.

01:31:36--> 01:32:21

My name is Marian. My question is, if someone does something really bad, then what does the lamb recommend in the Quran to give them a punishment? This is a good question that if someone does something bad, what is the punishment recommended by Allah in the Quran, depending upon the sin done, we have to realize that Allah subhana wa Taala has got various ways of guiding the person. One of them, as you mentioned, is that if someone does a sin, then there is a punishment for that on the other end, that if you don't do that thing, then there's a reward for you. So one of the aspects is, if you don't do this, if you don't drink alcohol is a reward for you. If you don't rob, there's a

01:32:21--> 01:32:59

reward for you. And the reward will be here also in the Akira. But the point to be noted depending upon the sin is the punishment given but Allah says in the Quran in Surah Nisa, chapter number four, verse number 14, and Surah Nisa, chapter number four was the 116 that Allah subhanho wa Taala. If he pleases, he may forgive anything but the sin of sheer he will never forgive, shirk, associating partners with God, Allah subhanho wa Taala will never forgive any other sin if he pleases me forgive. So we as Muslims, what we should do that if we see someone doing sin, our beloved prophet masala Salam said that if you see anything wrong, if you can stop it with the hand, stop it with

01:32:59--> 01:33:08

their hand, if you cannot stop it, stop it with the tongue. If you can't stop it with the tongue, the least you can do is close in your heart, and then you will be the lowest level of moment believer.

01:33:09--> 01:33:33

And Allah says that whenever you see something wrong, Allah says in Surah chapter three verse 110, morona bill Murphy was in hoonah and Moncure that enjoying what is good and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. So if we as Muslims see someone committing a sin, we have to dava and Islam that person and tell that person it's a Finnish should not do it, and try and convince him with Quran and Sunnah. And with reason and logic, problems, the questions

01:33:37--> 01:34:00

I would again like to request the non Muslim brothers and sisters sitting in the audience to please come up to the mic and clarify your doubts and whatever misconception you have about Islam. This is your opportunity to please please, please come to the mic and ask question. And again, the volunteers standing near the mics, I would again request him to please check up the queue. Is there any non Muslims standing in the queue, bring them forward so that they get the first chance to ask the question.

01:34:03--> 01:34:42

Maybe have the next question from the blue setting with the Assalamu alaikum. Mr. Chairman, brother, Nick, I will explain who I am. But first, thank you very much for your talk. And just let you know that you and Ahmed deedat are always in my prayers I will always make up for you. And when it comes to public speaking, I always tried to emulate you enough mudita in there has helped with the Dhamma My name is Hassan. I am a medical representative for a pharmaceutical company. I'm also involved in the political process. I stood for Parliament last year, and inshallah I plan to go further in my career. My question is relating to educating extremist extremist youth. There is one organization

01:34:42--> 01:34:59

headed by a well known scholar who branded myself as a carfare and other Muslims who got involved in politics. As coffees, they use the Quranic verse, which says that if anyone legislates, other than Allah, then he becomes a kafir. They use these Quranic

01:35:00--> 01:35:34

says they also glorified the 911 attacks. The question to you, Dr. Nick is how do we educate these extremists who claim to follow the Quran? And the Sunnah was the question that the extremist and the head of an organization who has labeled him coffered, they will glorify the bombing in suicide bombing in 911. So how do we educate these extremists? See, if we're talking about Muslim extremist, then whether I call myself a Muslim extremist. I'm extremely kind. I'm extremely honest. I'm extremely just, I'm extremely masterful.

01:35:35--> 01:35:41

What's wrong and being extremely kind Quran says, be extremely honest, I can be partly honest. So I'm an extremist Muslim.

01:35:42--> 01:35:45

We don't have to go with the label the Western media puts.

01:35:46--> 01:35:52

When they asked me I say yes, I'm an extremist, extremely honest, extremely kind, extremely, just extremely muscular, extremely kind.

01:35:54--> 01:36:27

And no Muslim can tell me that being extremely honest, is wrong. The other people are partly honest, partly just so what we have to do that if you're an extremist Muslim, every Muslim should be an extremist, but extremist in the right direction, not in the wrong direction. We can be extremely unjust, extremely dishonest. So if the media is telling that there are some Muslims extremists, I say every Muslim should be an extremist, every Muslim shouldn't be a fundamentalist. If you're not a fundamentalist Muslim, then you're not a good Muslim, you know, a practicing Muslim.

01:36:28--> 01:36:57

So what the media gives labels on us vegan apologist, fundamentalist and that an extremist, so I'm an extremist, what you may be talking about fanatics. The difference between a fanatic and an extremist now, I don't know who you're talking about, whether x y Zed, so my answer may be applicable to that person may not be but our beloved prophet masala Sallam said that if any Muslim, cause any other Muslim or coffee, then that comes back to him.

01:36:59--> 01:37:10

That means he becomes a cafe who said a beloved prophet masala so if you are a Muslim, and if someone calls you a coffee, the person calling you becomes a coffee masala

01:37:11--> 01:37:50

unless you have done act of poof, which you can really prove it, etc. Otherwise, the coffee comes back to him. Coming to the question, that how can we educate those people who glorify these attacks 911 London bombing etc. Allah says in the Quran in surah majda chapter number five verse number 32. If anyone kills any other human being, unless it be for murder, or for creating mischief in the land, if any person Muslim or non Muslim kills any other human being Muslim or non Muslim, unless it be for murder, or for creating mischief in the land, it is as though he has killed all of humanity. And if anyone saves any other human being, it is as though he has saved all of humanity. So killing

01:37:50--> 01:38:18

any innocent human being is haram. It's prohibited. We know that in 911, and the bombing of the New York Twin Towers more than 3000 years and people were killed. In London bombing, more than 50 people were killed last year. Just last month in Bombay 11th of July 2006, more than 200 people were killed, killing innocent people from anyone having even little bit knowledge of Islam cannot condone these acts should be condemned Haram in Islam.

01:38:22--> 01:38:23

But,

01:38:24--> 01:38:41

but there are many Muslims who have said this, especially in England and USA, in front page, but while putting a full stop there. We also have to condemn the 1000s of people have been killed in Afghanistan. The 1000s of people have been killed in Iraq. 1000s of people have killed in Bosnia in Gujarat.

01:38:43--> 01:38:44

Why do we stop there?

01:38:45--> 01:38:51

When asked about in America, then why would you stop? The situation is such we can't continue

01:38:53--> 01:39:04

what is it? Why are you afraid of I live in Bombay Mashallah. A city and a country which we know that the life is in danger, but Allah Masha Allah, Allah protect me and hamdulillah

01:39:05--> 01:39:17

and why do you put a full stop isn't a full stop? why more people have been killed in Afghanistan in London. More people have been killed in Iraq. weapons of mass destruction. Did you find it? No.

01:39:18--> 01:39:21

So why so why are you keeping quiet? Who are you afraid of?

01:39:22--> 01:40:00

Why in the same breath, we have to condemn it? No, because the time is not right. For the time is not right. So we have to realize what is wrong has to be condemned. What happened in Gujarat has to be condemned. And if the people were responsible for any evil act, if you catch that person and punish him, no problem, you can't get into sin person. If someone has killed in Gujarat, you do a bomb loss in Bombay. Why? Because the same community Islam doesn't permit that. Imagine those innocent people who have been killed in the bomb loss in Bombay or London or New York. Those innocent people, their relatives, they'll become permanent enemies of those people.

01:40:00--> 01:40:12

You have done this. Yet the British government has not found out who did the random bomb blast. Yet no one knows who did the bomb a bomb blast. I'm not telling you Muslims have done it. Anyone who has done it, whether Muslim or non Muslim has to be condemned.

01:40:14--> 01:40:14

A true Muslim,

01:40:17--> 01:40:58

a true Muslim, who believed and submit civil to Allah will never do that. If someone is caught with a Muslim name, he may be a pseudo Muslim. May having a name of the last stanza, Mama, that's a different question. If it happens to be whether he is a Muslim or non Muslim, he has to be condemned. If suppose Imagine, if suppose certain Muslims it is right, the relatives of the 1000s of innocent people who have been killed, they'll become permanent enemies of Islam. How can we condone it? It's Haram. What wrong? Have they done? What wrong? Have the people over traveling in the trains in Mumbai have done the people who are there in the marketplace on the tube as Obama took place in

01:40:58--> 01:41:34

London? What wrong they do? If you really can catch the culprit and punish him No problem, do it. If you can't do it, then don't kill innocent people. If someone doesn't agree with that, and I gave a talk if terrorism, a Muslim monopoly in Birmingham, anything. And then I've told that if you go to the US cite US Department of Justice on info, please. If you go on that site, there are many terrorist organizations, more than 50% of Muslims, out of which olfa India has been 749 attacks in last 16 years more than any other organization that organizations are mentioned there by

01:41:35--> 01:41:39

other guys, as mentioned 28 attacks or suspects, none proved

01:41:41--> 01:42:05

olfa 749 attacks, all proven. That is not the underside, these action began named. We cannot kill innocent people. So you have to realize that whoever's telling that these acts are correct, they are totally against the plan in front of them for proof. Granted, if the culprit is caught, and if he's punished, that's fine, but you can't kill innocent people. Thank you very much.

01:42:11--> 01:42:56

I'm still receiving many questions on slips from the sister side. Let me remind them that if they want their question to be answered, by Dr. Zakat, and you have to come on the mic and ask questions, please come on the mic and ask questions. Thank you. Maybe the next question from the sister Dear brothers, aka Assam aleikum. I'm greatly honored today that got an opportunity, directly asking you a question. Although Till now I am only watching your DVDs. And I'm a great fan of your topics. My question is directly related to the topic that is educating our children. My question is that in a proper Muslim education system, should any importance be given in teaching our children about the

01:42:56--> 01:43:48

national identity or emphasis should be only in religious identity? Don't you think that by not teaching our children about their own country's history, how it was formed, and how we got freedom from the colonial powers, they will lack essential knowledge about history of their paternal roots. And how I is that is your school, which have students from all parts of the world, you are coping with this side of education? Are you teaching only Islamic history? Or are equipping their minds with ample knowledge about their own respective countries as well? Thank you. Because the question that in an ideal Islamic school should we even teach about the country about the national activity

01:43:48--> 01:44:26

or national history about the freedom fight? And how we cope in is, as far as the general answer is concern that in an Islamic school, we should even talk about the country, there's no problem at all. We can talk about the laws of the country, we can talk the rules and regulation of the country but but we have to realize that number one, our allegiance goes to Allah subhanho wa Taala we should not go against the country unless the law of the country goes against Allah subhanaw taala if the law of the country does not go against Allah subhanho wa Taala we have to follow each and every law of the country. As far as India is concerned, I am aware that there is not a single rule in the

01:44:26--> 01:44:39

Constitution of India, which forces any Muslim to do any haram activity. Neither does it prohibit you from doing anything which is foreign. For example, the Indian government doesn't say that drinking alcohol is

01:44:41--> 01:45:00

optional. So they don't force you to do anything with the Haram. Neither do they prohibit you to do something which is for Salah is allowed. In fact, they have a separate Muslim personal law. So I would say that among the non Muslim countries in the world, I would put India to be among the top one of the best countries

01:45:00--> 01:45:41

Muslim can live, I may disagree with certain policy. So I say, I am a very good Muslim as well as a very good practicing Indian. But if any law of any country, whether it be India, whether it be UK, USA, Singapore, if it contradicts with the law of Allah subhanho wa Taala our allegiance to Allah Samantha's Mo, because he is our Creator, he has given a life, our country has been beneficial to us may have given us certain things, job, etc. But nothing compared to our Creator, Allah subhanho wa Taala led us to our last one out Allah is Mo. So if they don't contradict, we have to follow all the rules and regulations. If certain rules and regulation contradict that particular thing we need not

01:45:41--> 01:46:17

follow. So we have to teach our children to be good citizens also, what's wrong, you should be good Muslim. So you should follow the rules and regulations, as long as it doesn't contradict Islam. As far as history is concerned, of course, what we do that we see to it, sometimes some history which is not relevant, we don't teach. So then it's at our liberty, we teach the history which is required. In our school, Islamic international school, we have children who are actually British Nationals, but they have parents, parents also British, maybe the grandparents are Indian, the origin is Indian. So we have to learn from USA, from UK, from Saudi from other parts of the world,

01:46:17--> 01:46:55

but basically all our Indian origin, all of them so you can call them Indians, I can call them many of foreigners. But But, but we have selected the world history. We have option of taking Indian history or world history, the world is TV felt has got more scope for us for doing Dawa. It talks about the lifestyle of masala Salah mama Jesus case peace be upon him about Moses peace be upon so two in one. So we select the world history we have two options militia and ministry in wildish the part of India also comes so what is required we teach and as far as the government is concerned of that country, we should be very bold what is that we have to agree? We can't say because it's a non

01:46:55--> 01:47:33

Muslim government. I'm against it for what if the policy is against the policy of Allah we're against it if it's for we have to agree. Even if the enemy is no problem. We have to be bold that's what Allah says in Surah Surah chapter 17 was a demon vocal battle in Karnataka when through the Oregon fossil fossil parishes for false hood is batonnage Amanda parish. So we should see to it that in educating we have to give them in the world as to what's happening in the world. So that when they go out they should be aware, but something which may not be relevant, like something that taught which we feel will not be useful for them. They will never required in the full life. So that

01:47:33--> 01:47:35

portion we delete Hope that answers the question.

01:47:40--> 01:48:12

Yes, sir. Welcome dogs. I can I My name is Yola I am worker. I got a two question. First of all, I'm going to tell you I love you. Because the way you're speaking about Islam is terrific. is very nice. And my first question is the place where I'm working is like give half in half is like halal food is selling there and Geraldo is well Kinsey take the things. If I'm working there about relating to the money which I'm receiving, what do you think about that? Is that halaal for me? Is that a sin on me?

01:48:13--> 01:48:25

Or the second question is because when I start to see your lecturing, I wish in my heart that when I see you face to face, I'd like to give you a heart. Can I come to the stage and give you a heart?

01:48:47--> 01:48:54

Without as a question that he walks in a place with those food part of it is a large part is haram.

01:48:55--> 01:49:35

And the thing to be noted that is it a business we sell food, or are you working in a place and office which sells food for the staff, our employees? So is it office not just the shop? Yes, if you're working in a shop, which fits around food and halal food, if the Haram food isn't a very small minority, you know, maybe the gross turnover around food maybe one person or 2% then there can be possibilities but if quite a large portion is haram food and you should not work in that shop. It's Haram. You can't work in a coffee shop, you can't work in a shop with a spoke if you're working in a five star hotel, which has got lodging bordering everything and part the food is a small

01:49:35--> 01:49:59

portion of the income and in that food maybe 50% is haram then it may be fine working in a five star hotel with the main income is lodging boarding part of it is food in that part, maybe pork is haram alcohol is haram etc. So in that case it will be permissible when you are working in a shop which sells only food and if majority of the food more than 50% or even quite a large portion 25% or 20%

01:50:00--> 01:50:06

I mean there's no percentage per se but if it's selling haram food and we're involved with selling that then working in that shop becomes haram brother.

01:50:07--> 01:50:15

As soon as possible you change your profession, take a job inshallah Allah will give you try and find a better job and a better for risk also and bioterrorism.

01:50:19--> 01:50:34

Salaam Alaikum My name is Sagar, I mean e6. And my question is, how can we start educating ourselves in the deen? So we may educate others in the oma and what is the basic we should know?

01:50:35--> 01:50:46

The question that how should we educate ourselves so that we educate others? More should we know basically, but natural knowledge is such a thing that it's a big ocean. But the best book for guidance

01:50:47--> 01:51:14

is a Buddhist Quran out asked you to read the translation of the Quran. That's the best. This is the best book of guidance. It is a proclamation to humanity. It is the most positive book in the world. It is the fountain of mercy and wisdom, it is awarded to the headless it's a guide to the earring. It's an assurance to those in doubt. It's a solace to the suffering and hope to those in despair, the best book that anyone can read for guidance, it is a Glorious Quran.

01:51:20--> 01:51:43

I have a question from a non Muslim sister on the slip says I'm a non Muslim girl. And I'm considering to revert to Islam. But would this mean my god in my religion will punish me? Mashallah, the non Muslim sister was thinking of accepting Islam, Malaga and we welcome you to full of Islam and hamdulillah. Her main question is that once she accepts Islam, will have God punish her

01:51:45--> 01:52:24

sister. In all religions, including Islam, God is only one. There's only one same God for all the human beings. There is no different God for Muslim and Christian and Hindu and Sikh and Jews. There is one same God. And I've given the talk on concept of God in the major world religions. And all the religions say that God is one, he doesn't have any images, he is not begotten. He's all powerful, so that God is the same. So if you accept Islam, and all the religions say, if you read most of the major religions, their scriptures say that there is a messenger to come, whose name shall be Mohammed, whether they read the Jewish scriptures, the Christian scripture, the Hindu scripture, I

01:52:24--> 01:52:53

don't know whether you are a Christian or a Jew or a Hindu, but whichever religion you belong to, inshallah, most probably, even in your religious book, it will be mentioned God is One, it will be mentioned that there is a messenger to come, whose name is Muhammad, and He will guide you to the truth, peace be upon him. So even that God is the same God no different God. If we accept Islam, Islam means submitting our will to God. So inshallah, that God will be very happy and he will reward you and inshallah, in our next life, he will give you Jana.

01:53:00--> 01:53:33

Yes, really? Come, come on, Chris, your company director, brother Jazakallah, for coming today. My question is that Mashallah, you've established a model Islamic school, one that I would envisage in an Islamic State, but Marshall, you've established in today's world? My question is, unfortunately, 10s of millions of Muslim children will not be so fortunate to go to schools like yours. What do you recommend for our children, and all over the world, the Muslims who cannot have these types of schools, and also all your speeches, and details of the school on your website?

01:53:34--> 01:54:11

rather the question that everyone will not be fortunate to study in that school. So how can people millions of Muslim throughout the world, what should they do for children? How can they get a similar school? And as far as the information of our school Yes, if you go to our website, i r f dotnet. In that website, you'll see a separate section for Islam International School, you can go there and you can get the information. As far as similar schools, there are two options. The first option is that easy that people can come see our school, whatever cooperation they want, we can give, they can come and start in the city, a similar school, but the success is very difficult,

01:54:11--> 01:54:42

where everyone who says he wants to start a school, they may not have the same management skill, they may not have that same passion, all these differ, and the middle class help Cipolla help future life possible. So one thing is that you can start a similar school which many people have, but so far all these people have started, as I told you that close to about 5% 6% of what I would consider. We also franchise but remember franchise is very difficult, very strict. We require land we require all everything. It should be funded by the local people.

01:54:43--> 01:55:00

The thing should be funded by the local people. Our criteria very strict. If you want any part anywhere in India, we want minimum four acres land if it's on the top of the city, two acres in the heart of the city. We require half the construction cost everything else will do various rules and regulations. In spite of that we have hundreds of offers

01:55:00--> 01:55:32

We first thought we will open one school every year. But then we decided that it difficult. Once we started the school we realized to manage was so difficult. We had to fly in and out from Bombay to Chennai, we send our teachers for training, we send our counselors everything. So we realize that it's possible, but it's difficult. So therefore, we said that every two, three years we start, we have plans next time we start in Dubai inshallah, there have been offers in Dubai, where people said that we will give you land, there are people living in UK who have told us the other person you mentioned, told me I can give you five acres land, we haven't taken the offer, yet. We scrutinize

01:55:33--> 01:55:43

the person offering and everything. And if we feel it's feasible, it's a commercial venture. Point number one, the person donating that land, we say you give it and forget it.

01:55:44--> 01:56:08

Don't think of getting a return. In the Western countries everyone's thinking if I invest 1000 pounds, how much you like it? wherever I go. It's only in the Western countries. In USA, Canada and UK where there's tickets there has nothing the concept of ticket for talk how can I have a ticket for Islamic talk? So there's no concept of getting tickets people call me they say how much will you charge to come?

01:56:10--> 01:56:13

I mean they cannot afford me Believe me. If I tell my friends they can afford me

01:56:15--> 01:56:16

Mashallah come your free

01:56:17--> 01:56:57

maximum you can pay me to get my crew everything has come absolutely Mashallah. It's all paid by us fine, simple accommodation if you can, if not, we manage it, no problem, my time is more important. So, this concept is different there in eastern part of the world, Mashallah is different. So, what we do it is not a commercial venture. So, when he was interested, he gave the answer if I get it, he is something for the land, he preschool we control it. If we have a franchise we have full control. We also tell in India, the person who donated the land from Amrita land which cost about 16 crore rupees, that will be how much maybe it's a million pounds worth of land. But we told him, no

01:56:57--> 01:56:59

guarantee that a child will be admitted

01:57:01--> 01:57:33

you can give the land you can start the school but no guarantee if your child passes you get admission there have been cases that people have given us maybe a million dollar donation my child was refused I'm very strict. So our conditions are very transparent. So if such condition there we scrutinize the person who's doing when we have a franchise we see to it the man's name is attached. If I remember the attached finish, we theater that we keep up on him as a policy when we go anywhere else. We tell them don't put our name

01:57:35--> 01:57:41

we will come but don't put my name don't put my name is organizer. The moment you put the name as organizer that means

01:57:42--> 01:57:52

the surely gonna be a problem for us. So when we go and support any other organization for any function, we support a lot Mashallah. But the only criteria for this will help you but don't put our name.

01:57:54--> 01:58:00

Because we know we don't have 100% control, even 50% control we don't know 90% of you don't agree, unless you're 100% control.

01:58:02--> 01:58:06

We don't agree putting our name as organizers or sub organizers.

01:58:07--> 01:58:43

The name comes that means so if someone there are offers Mashallah from different parts of the world for us to start schools, and Monday My name is attached. inshallah, we are going to charge the way, we will keep the feed more than the British who's an American School inshallah will compete with them will keep higher fees than them. There are people who can afford when Allah has given them, those who can't afford will give 45% people scholarship and Dubai inshallah is our next target, where the fees there's quite high for the British troops and American schools, but inshallah we have plans to keep them and inshallah there'll be more people flocking to our school inshallah with Allah

01:58:43--> 01:58:54

help. And main thing is equality. For other people, you can start in your own capacity, what do you have? I know that here Mashallah the government fund schools also.

01:58:55--> 01:59:18

But we don't only take funding from the government, but also towards the interference, not a single penny. Yeah, I don't know if we can take an underscore the way we are no problem or you start on your own. Start on your own small do whatever you can, whatever ability you have got, start and make a beginning. Whatever, you can read this guide this office insha Allah, and inshallah Allah will help you and you'll be successful. Hold them to the question.

01:59:20--> 01:59:22

Maybe you have the next question from the system.

01:59:23--> 01:59:49

I've got a question from a non Muslim sister she's asking. A number of verses in the Quran are canceled out by others? Can these not be viewed as in consistencies or contradictions? For example, chapter four verse 15, abrogated by chapter 24 verse two, sister that was a question the non Muslim sister that there are some verses of the Quran, which are abrogating or contradicting is canceled. So does it mean that how can they be contradiction?

01:59:50--> 01:59:59

If you read the Quran, there are no two verses in the Quran which contradict I challenge anyone to point out any two verses in the Quran which contradict Allah says clearly in the Quran in surah

02:00:00--> 02:00:45

Chapter number four was number 82. Allah says, Allah de Brunello Quran, Allah kana meaning the gorilla, laughing casita, do they not consider the Quran with Kay Had it been from anyone besides Allah, there have been many contradictions. Now in the Muslim Ummah, I'm aware, there is a concept of abrogation theory of aggregation, known as mansukh and naskh, based on the verse of the Quran of Surah Baqarah chapter two was the 106 and surah hell chapter 16, verse 101, which says, that Allah subhana wa Taala does not cause any of his if any of his science to be forgotten, he substitutes it with something better or similar to based on this worse, there are many scholars who have propounded

02:00:45--> 02:01:25

the theory of abrogation. nust and mansukh. People is the one that is talking about that gnosis candidate, the Quran says the words will not contradict it. Do any spoilers, anything I'm not bothered. Number one. Now, if you read the verse of the Quran, you can analyze the verse of the Quran in two ways. One way is that the is talking in the Quran or referring to the earliest scriptures, maybe Torah, maybe in June. So Allah says, I do not cause any of the is the signs of Allah the previous was of the previous revelations to be forgotten, but substituted with something better or similar. Something but then similar is the Quran.

02:01:27--> 02:02:09

Now, if you agree that the is mentioned the worst, if I have to hold on, then to I have an answer. It means that Allah subhana wa Taala has revealed one verse of the Quran, what was relevant for that time, and after that, he revealed another verse, but that was is not contradicting it is giving more information and the two verses given by the sister of Surah Nisa, Chapter 415. And three new chapter number 24, verse number two, though she hasn't mentioned the translation. And by last grace, I know the translation of this verse is not the Quran is our training. It's not half of the Quran. It is practice that I know what questions I'm going to come to me. So we wrote the verses Mashallah, it's

02:02:09--> 02:02:25

very easy, it's not difficult. You know, the verses and even our children Mashallah do the same. And hamdulillah Surah Nisa chapter number four verse number 15 says that, if anyone is caught in fornication, if any woman is caught in fornication, then keeper

02:02:26--> 02:02:28

in custody in house arrest like

02:02:29--> 02:02:40

seclude her until she dies, or Allah audience something else. And then renewed up number 24 verse number two says that as for the fornicator

02:02:42--> 02:02:43

person who commit fornication,

02:02:44--> 02:02:47

give them punishment of 100 lashes.

02:02:48--> 02:03:33

So people will think, is there a contradiction? If the first Quranic verse of Surah Nisa chapter 415 said that put the woman in house arrest and a full stop, then fully nude of 100 lashes would contradict, it says that keep them in house until the day or until Allah gives something else. Now for this alive you two options in the Quran for a fornicator this 100 lashes and in the hadith of say Buhari for the adulterer, the punishment is thrown into the so this was the Quran does say that Allah will give some other punishment later on. If that part wasn't there, there would have been a contradiction. So, there is no contradiction, it says that this punishment is temporary. Later on

02:03:33--> 02:03:50

Allah will reveal something else. Similarly, there are scholars who have written that there are 1000 verses contradicting some scholars then came to 500 suit their thing came down to 22 and other scholar came down to five, I verified the 22 and five was five and so those are umbrella. And one of them is this

02:03:52--> 02:04:14

what we realize in mansukh and nust what happens that Allah in some prohibitions he has bought in stages, and the best example I give is of alcohol. The first verse to be revealed regarding alcohol is Surah Baqarah. Chapter Two was 219. Well law says, In intoxicants, there is loss as well as profit, the loss is more than profit.

02:04:16--> 02:04:56

This was of the Quran does not prohibit alcohol. It only says in intoxicants there is loss and profit. The loss is more than profit. The next verse to be revealed of prohibition was Surah Nisa, Chapter 443, which says that do not pray with your mind before when you're intoxicated. Do not pray. That means there is a higher degree now, previously did not say it was Haram. It only gave you guidance in intoxicant, loss and profit losses more than profit. Next verse says, do not pray with your mind before when investigated, you can pray now since a Muslim has to provide them the day indirectly you can't have intoxicated the full day and night. Option is not anything you should

02:04:56--> 02:05:00

have. The final prohibition came in from Isaiah chapter

02:05:00--> 02:05:38

If I was dominant he says yeah you will in a minute or you believe in animal control my food most certainly intoxicated and gambling what Anza bowl Islam, dedication of stone divination of arrows, Richard minimalist. These are Satan and evil first enable them to abstain from the handiwork determine prosper. Yeah, the final prohibition came. No when this verse was revealed barrels of alcohol, intoxicants thrown in the streets of Medina never to be filled again. Then the final haram came. Now if you analyze many people say that the last verse of Jeremiah chapter five of sama 90 has overruled Surah Baqarah chapter two, verse 219 is contradictory. It's not contradicting, it is

02:05:38--> 02:06:00

giving more information. The first was only told you there is loss and profit loss is more even today, the worse is applicable. That worse is even correct today. Even in intoxicants today there is loss and profit. We as medical doctors know there is profit, but the loss is more than profit. The next one says, don't pray when you're intoxicated even today that is applicable. today. You cannot pray

02:06:01--> 02:06:11

when intoxicated. But the last final prohibition doesn't contradict it encompasses. For example, I say that I live in UK.

02:06:12--> 02:06:22

Fine. Then next day I say, I live in London. Third day I say I live in Harrow a moment I say Harrow, London and you get understood.

02:06:24--> 02:07:05

But my first answer I live in UK, while the general answer, the most specific, I live in London, when I say live in Harrow, it is more specific. It's not continuity, my first answer. So the last question that I call is prohibited is not contradicting that in intoxicants there is loss and profit. It is yet there. It's not continued. Chapter Four, verse 43, that you cannot pray when your mind is before when intoxicated. So this means there is more information, the last verse of the Quran, if you follow that, the earlier two is automatically followed. It's understood. So therefore, according to me, and according to Allah subhanaw taala, there is not a single contradiction in the

02:07:05--> 02:07:21

Quran. If there were any contradictions, this book cannot be the word of Allah subhanaw taala. So I disagree with anyone let them be the greatest scholar in the world. And I challenge anyone, whether Muslim or non Muslim, to point out the single contradictions of Iran. They will never do it and never will be able to do it.

02:07:27--> 02:08:10

Salam Alaikum. My name is Magda, Maddie. I'm a researcher in history, political science, and I'm currently studying in computer science. My question is, is pretending to do or magical by whatever name you would like to address it. I won't go into specifics but certain family member recently found a piece of paper in which was supposedly some elements of negativity, which they felt was of, of this nature. And they themselves in those in similar practices to to obtain a remedy for it, believing that you know, this is wrong. I was wondering if you could shed some light on this matter, was a question that what do you have to say about black magic? And what is the remedy? As far as

02:08:10--> 02:08:52

black magic is concerned, there is something like that magic. The Quran mentioned that in Surah Falak missions for the Baccarat there's black magic, it does exist, but we should not involve in black magic, we should not do it, we should have faith in Allah subhanaw taala. And as far as the remedy is concerned, the last two who are the most attain, so they Falak and Salinas murrayville. For this, these two sutras are the remedy for black magic. No. See, one thing is that normally, whenever people think that something has possessed, first thing is Allah says, as the person who has knowledge. So the next episode number 4321 was number seven, go to a doctor. If the doctor doesn't

02:08:53--> 02:09:17

tell you the treatment or cannot treat the disease go to a psychiatrist. Most of the people who claim to have black magic, they can be cured by doctors and psychiatrists. They can be possibilities that actually a gene may have come and black magic may have taken place. But that case, you can follow the guidance of Quran and Sunnah. You can go to a person who's an expert in this field, but I'm sorry to say most of the people who are experts in the field who claim more than 99% of fake

02:09:18--> 02:09:44

more than 99% of one to me, it is my analysis, more than 99% who claim that they can kill black magic, they are frauds. The moment you realize asking from you money. That means he's trying to make a fast buck. Do they do that give me so much money. 1000 pound 2000 pounds, is trying to make a fast buck out of it. So there are people who are experts in this field and a couple of them in Saudi Arabia Mashallah. They're very knowledgeable. I don't know if anyone else other ways.

02:09:45--> 02:09:52

So if he's knowledgeable, we should realize that if you get the treatment from Quran and Sunnah, that you have to go to a specialist who specialized in the field of them, so the question

02:09:57--> 02:09:58

maybe next weekend

02:10:00--> 02:10:30

Salam Alaikum My name is Sha head. I'm a salesman. Like most people, I love you as well. Just like to ask you the question, could you define what a man and a pita is? Because ultimately, we'd like to die with this in this day. And also, how this can be attained is the only fruit that one If so, for which method of work because there's so many different efforts, the question of what is the meaning of a man What is the meaning of aqeedah? And if thou then which method of Dawa mm is belief, you can give a lecture on demand for five other 10 as

02:10:31--> 02:10:48

to what I don't know where to give me a lecture on that. I don't know what do you mean Academy? Do you have Akita and Allah subhanaw taala everything. So you can give a lecture on demand you can even lecture on aqeedah no reason is because some people seem to say that the Prophet sallallahu Sallam was more than what he was. So as the question I asked Nikita

02:10:50--> 02:11:14

masamoto Some people think that masala Salam is more than a man or is more than a man. Yes, he's more than a man. He's the best human being that we have in the world. He's more than a common man. But But I know what the question is. But he is not. Allah subhanaw taala he's a human being. He is far superior than any of us human beings. But he is Basha.

02:11:16--> 02:11:58

He is measured. The Quran says he is like a human being he requests to eat, he required to sleep and he's dead. He was buried in Medina. But he was one of the best exemplary Muslims as Allah says in the Quran in surah column, chapter number 16, verse number four, that verily thou our standard on the highest standard of character. Quran says in chapter 33, verse number 21, verily, in the Prophet, you shall find the most beautiful pattern of conduct. So as a human being is the best exemplary Muslim Alhamdulillah but he was a prophet of God. When we worship we have to worship Allah directly. We have to go through anyone, we have to ask him directly an openness as far as how to do

02:11:58--> 02:12:03

da da da Quran and Sunnah as per the guidelines laid out in the Quran and Sunnah.

02:12:04--> 02:12:08

And if you go to a website, Arab dotnet with a lot of information on that hope that answers the question.

02:12:12--> 02:12:23

I have a question from another non Muslim brother, paleo yoga thing many, he seems to be sick and he asked that, can you please tell me the similarities between Sikhism and Islam?

02:12:24--> 02:13:08

Our big brother has asked a very important question that what are the similarities between Sikhism and Islam? And there are a lot that I will not permit me to expound on all I just mentioned in brief as you think that Sikhism is a religion of 10 gurus, for those who don't know, and it was founded by Guru Nanak in the late 15th century, in the land of Punjab in the Land of Fire reverse and Guru Nanak he was very much influenced even by the Muslim family in a warrior class into family. He was influenced by the Muslims, many Muslims and the five K's at the Sikh always maintain is the case that the uncut hair, it is the Kanga it is a comb to keep the hair clean, it is the color that is

02:13:08--> 02:13:48

the blue slate. The fourth is the Kucha, the long under draws and the fifth, it is a coupon, it is the dagger, this is identity. In short, this was a brief about a sick so moment Marcelo is a person wearing a turban in the NFL. Therefore I always appreciate that the people who keep the label without any fear other six they feel my talk on if the label shows the internet as the Muslims, that Mashallah the sick. He is proud to be a sick and even fought with the Canadian government. In the army. They said to shave off that he said No, I will not. And he fought the case and they won. When I went to Canada the first time in in 96. It gave me a headline that the six fights the case in the

02:13:48--> 02:13:54

Kenyan army and even the case, but we Muslim many of us, someone did something we should have the word by

02:13:56--> 02:14:17

commonly the similarities between the Sikhism and Islam. The second book of the sick is the guru grant on the ground. And if you read the first chapter of this, the grant, first volume, first chapter, first verse is called a JRPG. And it says that Almighty God, he is called as the truth.

02:14:19--> 02:14:21

He's a true not created

02:14:22--> 02:14:25

the fearless, he's not forgotten.

02:14:26--> 02:14:29

And he's free from fear and want.

02:14:30--> 02:14:59

If you analyze these one is not because He is the Creator. It is similar to our story class, Chapter 112, verse number 124, which says, Allah says Allah only Allah Subhan Allah the absolute eternal lamb level amulet he gets not noisy forgotten. While amico loco for nada, nothing like him. And in Sikhism, Sikhism does not believe in our VEDA, meaning that God it's a monotheistic religion, God in the unmanifest form is called as a comb Gara

02:15:00--> 02:15:24

manifest form as omkara and there are various attributes of Almighty God given the guru grant, amongst them is, is called as Katara. There is the creator, same in Arabic as colleague, he is called as pervert the Gar, the tarisha. Same as us. He's called as Lord, as Rob is also called as Karim, the benevolent is called as a him

02:15:25--> 02:15:38

beneficent, he's also called as my guru, my god. So if we analyze there are many similarities between the concept of God in Sikhism, therefore Sikhism doesn't believe in idol worship, doesn't believe in our Theravada it's a monotheistic religion.

02:15:40--> 02:15:46

And if we analyze Guru Nanak was very much influenced even by Santa COVID.

02:15:47--> 02:15:56

And you find and grant many couplets also of San Kabir, one of them is dockmaster, mana, Saqqara soapmaker eneco a mess.

02:15:57--> 02:16:07

Which means in times of trouble, everyone remembers God. In times of happiness, no one remembers God, if remember God in times of happiness, why should trouble the

02:16:09--> 02:16:44

same as Allah says in Surah chapter 30, verse number 33, that when trouble digit man, he cries out to Allah subhanaw taala. But once when the trouble goes away, he associate partner with Allah subhanho wa Taala. So if you realize that Sikhism is also a religion of God, it's a monotheistic religion does not be idly worship. Most scholars say it's an amalgamation of Hinduism and Islam. And we realize that in the concept of God, it is quite similar to Islam. And for more details, you can refer to my video as a concept of all major religions where I spoke in more details on that hope that answers the question.

02:16:50--> 02:17:29

Shall we just have the last two questions due to lack of time and we cannot continue. Maybe the next question from the brother of a family come. My name is Fahad. I work as a computer programmer. My question is related to Islamic banking. What is meant when a certain Islamic bank says that they're going to offer a loan at an X percent APR is that not interest? We ask the question that you must know about Islamic banking, Islamic banks offer loan and they add X percent the quoted service or whatever it is it not interest fee. Basically interest is haram in Islam. They're known as in different places. Our last interest is haram. Allah clearly says in Surah Baqarah chapter number two

02:17:29--> 02:17:50

was number 278 to 79. That if you give up noted demands for interest, take notice of a war from online is our sole interest is haram. Now, as far as the third binding is concerned, as you mentioned many times with devone point we noted that most of the Islamic bank that are there I don't know if any Islamic bank million 100% Islamic, I don't know maybe I don't know.

02:17:53--> 02:18:26

In fact one of my interest in Islamic banking, but there are many which are Mashallah quieter on Islamic. There are many which are frauds also fine. Only namesake Islamic what we have to note that we as a manaphy can check up checkup. If you analyze the Islamic system of moussaka Profit and Loss sharing, which is the best safest moussaka means we become a partner in it. Now, other aspects of the database that is cost plus in cost plus many a time, people falter. And many a time there's nothing but

02:18:27--> 02:18:29

catching the nose along Gatineau as

02:18:30--> 02:18:43

you say that it is nothing but trying to make a gimmick. So we have to analyze and many factors are given on this is a lot that is a lot which many which I don't agree with also. So when Islamic bank come we have to scrutinize who is on the Sharia board,

02:18:44--> 02:18:50

just by name, please don't go. That's not important, what they do, etc. So many of the Islamic banks

02:18:52--> 02:19:19

I wouldn't call them Islamic they mean very small percentage Islamic. Now in the Islamic bank, most of them do mudaraba in mudaraba. There's a problem cost plus which comes sometimes it's possible that is higher purchases a which is Islamic Mutharika is safe safe means if they're following Islamic principles in other parts they have to check up and what we analyze that most of the bank they falter and because they compete with the conventional bank, they keep the same interest or name is different

02:19:21--> 02:19:59

nagasaka label is different but the same, so we have to be careful while taking loan. But as a layman, if suppose you think it Islamic and you take it and if they are doing something wrong. out of ignorance they have gone so the blame will come on them not on you. If you know they're haram and then you go then the blame will come on you. So it is the onus of the people running Islamic banks to check whether they're following what happened that many fatwas in this and fatwa shopping isn't easy. You know what football you want to get. So they go and visit gj to get or Pakistan or India. So they take football which is convenient for them, and then they sanction it. So you have to be

02:19:59--> 02:19:59

careful

02:20:00--> 02:20:24

While Islamic banking is there not that's not possible possible, very difficult. There are some banks I know which are Mashallah good yet not 100%. And they know that but because unless they don't have the central system of Islamic you can't be 100%. So the thing that the mini summit banks coming up, we have to check up whether Islamic Relief is there, but there is a system which you can do. You have to check up the functioning, how they do, and then you have resolved that later on.

02:20:28--> 02:21:09

inshallah, we'll just have the last question from Mr. sabich. And brother. And my question under the small comments after it, should British Muslims develop a body for speaking to the media on Muslim issues? And I asked this question, because currently in this environment, the media talking about basic beliefs in our Deen and they call upon different people who don't represent any of our views about why we are Muslims that are causing a gun to the mosques, and we're teaching our children. I think this is an extremist. And when they asked their brothers, a Muslim brothers and sisters to attend on TV, these Muslim Brothers say that we are moderate Muslims. I am not a moderate Muslim, I

02:21:09--> 02:21:20

am neither an extremist, I am a Muslim. And I would like that for you, though that with one voice by the Muslim community, not a fragmented voice that's been conforming to the norms of this society.

02:21:23--> 02:21:40

That should the Muslims have a common body to represent the Muslims of British? Yes, they should have a common body for British Muslims, for American Muslims, for Indian Muslims, all the countries as well as one international Muslim body, also one International, which you don't have.

02:21:42--> 02:21:54

So we should have a voice of own better of one good united force. And I believe that you already have in Britain known as mzb, Muslim Council of Britain, and I think you'll do a good job.

02:21:56--> 02:21:57

Not in the media.

02:22:01--> 02:22:21

Sorry, and the most iron I'm aware of the Muslim Council of Britain, but as you know, media is manipulation. They don't target the Muslim Council of Britain. They individually target different Muslims to represent Muslims. The sister said that the Muslim Council of Britain is there, but the media doesn't talk so you create your own media.

Media will run after you you know for me, in Bombay, the BBC asked me to give comments the CNN I don't give for my own reasons. The BBC the CNN NDTV. See, when someone throw stones at you razors is so high the stone should not reach you. They want more doctors to come in, but I stay away from it for my own reasons. But you should come on the media I stay away because already a hamdulillah my programs are coming in so many satellite channels, Mashallah every day, one hour, two hours twice a day, thrice a day. Now, I'm afraid that when these people take my interview five minutes they make it short and may change my view that there is an STV and what I want to say we have got so many

02:23:04--> 02:23:18

channels showing a program Mashallah no problem. So what we realized that we should have our own media, not only a body to represent media, we should have our own media, on media and that media should be powerful.

02:23:21--> 02:23:55

That Verizon Mashallah we have launched a satellite channel, if you see this piece TV about seven months back in the month of January 2016. On the 25th of January, we launched our own satellite channel by the name of peace TV pstv at present Mashallah. It is reaching more than 125 countries in the world, it is covering all the countries in Asia and Middle East as well as Africa and parts of Australia. The beam is seen in Europe but very big, you require a big dish, inshallah, we have plans to come on vskp also, inshallah, within the next few months, inshallah, we'll come on beef cabbage, VFE to a channel. It's the

02:23:57--> 02:24:33

it's the first of its kind in the way it's English and with international channel. It's not a localized channel, talking only about one country. We have speaker Mashallah from America, from Canada, from UK, from Malaysia, from Saudi from India from Pakistan, Mashallah, it's not a local channel. It's international channel talking about comparative religion. We have programs of children, we have programs for family Mashallah interviews, debates, TV talks, and here it is that the channels should be on Quran Sunnah when I started the channel, the first thing I said I prayed to Allah subhanho wa Taala It was a dream and finally finished Mashallah. And I said that, please

02:24:33--> 02:24:57

don't let me do anything Haram. If I'm forced to do something Haram, I better shut down the channels and run it in a Humvee. Many people start a channel they are good, but then they compromise. No compromise First there is no lady the lady comes with niqab then without niqab then without a job then low neck and everything. So we want channels which are more Why should we see we should not enough to money, no ad will not communicate hangfire ads.

02:24:58--> 02:25:00

You should not enough too much.

02:25:00--> 02:25:33

Money should run after you. You give quality you have faith in Allah and Allah therefore Do you want the money and the pound and the dollar is what you want. They are less efficient problem is we have more faith in other things. Allah subhanaw taala Mashallah to the core no music, we have sound effects Mashallah Hara sound effects, we have enough we have natural sound effects and if you see it, it has a good impact Mashallah we have graphics, but Hello, we have one committee and we produce high quality you see these cameras, we have what six cameras from Bombay.

02:25:35--> 02:26:12

Normally in Bombay when issued for nine Gambia, 50 staff, you have only 12 staff then actually have the camera crew, your limitation, we have the best of the best of equipment Alhamdulillah knowledge is the digital production we have one high definition High Definition hasn't started yet. There is no channel in the world which is shooting on high definition now. So we don't compete with Muslim channels, we compete with international non Muslim channels and the best for find religious channels have got TV, they are on 15 satellites. They are reaching more than 225 countries 275 million people and we are programming in such a way that it is a spiritual edutainment channel inshallah the next

02:26:12--> 02:26:49

plan is to have a separate channel in different language English and we'll do then have a news channel inshallah. But it will be international news not local news. Not only are Bombay not only of London international news, so that we can voice how many international media Do we have we have any international newspaper phone? Do you have international news magazine? Like the Time magazine Newsweek where do we have we have some magazines taken out by Muslim majority Muslim read either on Arabic or in English only read by Muslims what we want that non Muslim should watch it. So we can at least say that 100 Chandra Mashallah even the program that we have that 25% at least Mashallah of

02:26:49--> 02:27:18

the programs that I give whether in India or the past Mashallah year I feel more non Muslim should come? Why I don't know so many who's to blame, that the publicity should be towards towards a non Muslim Mashallah. So even the channel that we have sister we should have our own media, or newspapers or magazines, on satellite channels which convey the true picture of Islam so that we can present our view to the world and the heart of Islam. Hope that answers the question for davon Alhamdulillah blasphemy

02:27:23--> 02:27:49

I invite with the use of chambers to give you the vote of thanks, Zack Allah here for doctors I can I come in tonight and all of you coming tonight contributing tonight. 02:27:53--> 02:27:55
