Zakaullah Saleem – S02E04 Aqeedah – The Concept Of Seeking Blessing
AI: Summary ©
The speakers stress the importance of finding evidence from the Quran and Sun tariff to prove one's legitimacy and avoid confusion. They also discuss actions and actions that the Prophet s.a.w. has guided their actions towards regret, including reciting the Quran, drinking, and following the sun. The use of the prophet sallavi as a means of promoting charity and following the sun is important, and the use of laylatul qadr as a way to promote charity is also discussed. The video uses quran and picture as examples of how the Prophet sallavi and Sallday encourage others to do things as part of their religion.

As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu.
Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.
Alhamdulillahi Rabbil Alameen.
Wa ala aqibatil muttaqeen.
Wa as-salatu wa as-salamu ala rasulil
kareem.
Wa ala alihi wa sahbihi ajma'een.
Amma ba'd.
So this is fourth lesson of the second
season.
Is that correct?
Those who attend regularly, they should remember.
So this is the fourth one.
And the topic we are going to cover
today is the permissibility or impermissibility of seeking
barakah or tabarruk.
Tabarruk means seeking barakah.
What does barakah mean?
What does it mean?
Blessings from Allah, what does it mean?
Get something in halal way.
Okay.
Rizq itself is a blessing.
Okay.
Any rizq?
Okay.
What's the evidence?
What does barakah or blessing actually mean?
When you say, say for example, you say
to someone, May Allah bless you.
What do you mean by this?
Abundance.
Okay.
Anyone else?
Raising khair.
Okay.
Yeah.
Barakah, usually we translate as blessings.
In Arabic, the word barakah means thubootul khair
ilahi fee shay.
The divine khair found in something.
And the word barakah, firmness, adherence, or
the settlement.
When something gets settled, you can call it,
that is mabrook.
Not the mabrook that we use, and that
is the wrong usage of the word mabrook,
that is very common nowadays.
You want to congratulate someone, you say mabrook.
Okay.
That is wrong.
What is the correct word?
Mubarak.
No mabrook.
Mabrook is very common, even amongst the Arab.
The word mabrook means something else.
Mabrook actually comes from barakal ba'eer.
When the camel settles on the ground, you
say barakal ba'eer.
It is mentioned in the hadith, the Prophet
s.a.w. said, when you go into
sujood, la tabrook kama yabrookul ba'eer.
Don't place your knees on the ground the
way the camel places its knees on the
ground.
So that is, and from that word comes
mabrook.
Mabrook means settled.
What does it mean?
So the correct word is mubarak.
Either you say barakallahu lak or barakallahu feek
barakallahu alayk.
All three different ways are permissible.
But to say mabrook, this is a wrong
usage of the word.
Oh, that's not appropriate to use.
Anyway, in Arabic, a small pond or pool
of water is called birka.
Birka.
Small pond or the pool of water.
Why?
Because the water is gathered and the water
is settled in that pool.
That's why it's called birka.
So baraka, when we say baraka, what we
translate as blessing, it means the increase, the
divine increase in something.
That Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala increases you
in His favours.
So when you say to someone barakallahu feek,
may Allah bless you or may Allah grant
you blessing or baraka, you actually make dua
for them that the favours of Allah Subhanahu
wa ta'ala may continue, be increasing, be
increasing on that person.
May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala continue increasing.
Baraka means when it comes to baraka, there
are many ayat in the Quran that we
find and many hadith of the Prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam that establish the fact that the
baraka exists in certain individuals, in places, in
times, in objects, so baraka is formed.
For example, Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala says
about Sayyiduna Ibrahim Khalilullah Alaihi Salatu Wasalam Wabarakna
Alaihi Wa Ala Ishaq We gave baraka to
Ibrahim and to his son Ishaq.
Allah says about Sayyiduna Isa Alaihi Salatu Wasalam,
that when he spoke in the cradle, when
his mother Maryam Alaihi Salam, she was carrying
him as a baby and he spoke and
he said, Inni Abdullah Verily I am a
slave of Allah Atani Al Kitaab Waja'alani
Nabiya Allah gave me a book and he
made me a prophet.
Waja'alani Mubarakan Aynamakunt And Allah has made
me Mubarak That is the correct word Waja
'alani Mubarak Allah made me Mubarak A source
or a means of baraka or Allah blessed
me.
Aynamakunt Wherever I am Aynamakunt Allah says about
the Quran This is the book that we
revealed to you Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasalam and
this book is full of baraka Allah also
says If the
people of the villages and the cities if
they were to become true believers and if
they would attain taqwa of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala Allah says we would open baraka,
many baraka for them from the sky and
the earth and we would from the heavens
as well as from the earth So there
are many ayat in the Quran and this
is something that Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Okay May
peace be upon you and the mercy of
Allah and the blessings of Allah Subhanahu Wa
Ta'ala and this is what we are
also ordered to ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta
'ala for for our Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasalam,
when we read and we send salutation upon
the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasalam and we say
Allahumma salli ala Muhammad and second part is
what Allahumma barik ala Muhammad wa ala aali
Muhammad kama barakta ala Ibrahim wa ala aali
Ibrahima innaka hamidun majeed when you read the
dua of the witr as part of the
dua you say wabarak li fima aatait give
me baraka in whatever you have blessed me
with when a couple gets married it is
sunnah to give them dua barakallahu lakumaa or
if you are speaking to one or the
groom you say barakallahu laka wabaraka alaika okay
if you are speaking to both of them
you say barakallahu lakumaa wabaraka alaikuma may Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala place the baraka in
your life may Allah grant you baraka so
the baraka blessing is basically the continuation of
the favors of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
with a lot of khair that whatever Allah
has blessed you with that may be good
for you so when you say may Allah
grant you baraka in your wealth you actually
mean may Allah give you may Allah allow
you to benefit from your wealth the way
he is pleased with when you say may
Allah grant you baraka in your children meaning
may your children be obedient to you and
to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala so you
attain you get the khair and goodness from
the favors of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
and that goodness continues within the favor of
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala those who do
not believe in Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
their life is a favor from Allah whatever
they eat and drink no doubt all of
them are the ni'm the favors of Allah
but do they have baraka in that?
no no doubt not every favor of Allah
whatever we have in this life is a
favor of Allah no doubt whatever you name
anything anything and everything you have in this
life is from Allah and it is a
favor of Allah every single favor is from
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala but not every
favor is a source of baraka or not
every favor has a baraka I hope it
is clear now there is difference between a
favor and between a baraka so baraka means
that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala places khair
and he increases the khair and goodness within
the favors that he has showered on you,
is that clear?
ok so when it comes to the baraka,
seeking baraka, there are permissible ways and there
are impermissible ways that is why we have
chosen this topic for the lesson today and
with regards to baraka before we go into
the detail of the permissible and impermissible ways
of baraka there are few points that we
need to understand first and foremost we must
believe that the baraka is from Allah only
no one has the authority to give baraka,
no one has the authority to give baraka
it's only Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala that
grants baraka Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud radiallahu
ta'ala who says kunna na'uddu al
-ayati baraka wa antum ta'uddoonaha takhweefa the
verses of the Quran we the companions of
the Prophet we used to consider these ayat
and these verses as what?
baraka, blessing from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
every single time the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam received a revelation and wahi from Allah
we consider it as a baraka you people
who came after the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam, you consider the ayat of the Quran
nothing other than a warning every single time
the ayah is recited in the Quran, you
think this is something that is warning yes,
the ayat of the Quran that are the
ayat of warning, but we tend to forget,
even those ayat that contain warning they are
also baraka because they are for our benefit
okay but what Abdullah al-Mas'ud radiyallahu
ta'ala meant here is that the munafiqeen
as Allah says in the Quran, the munafiqeen
every single time the ayah or the revelation
came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
they did not like it because they knew
that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala continuously exposes
them okay so whenever an ayah would come
to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam whenever
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would receive
a revelation, the munafiqeen they would consider it
as something threatening to them okay, and they
would not be pleased with the revelation rather
they would dislike the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam receiving a revelation from Allah Dhul Jalal
al-Ikram and this is something that Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala has mentioned in the
Quran as well and then Sayyiduna Abdullah Masood
radiyallahu ta'ala he continues, he says there
are many verses and many signs, obviously ayat
means the verses of the Quran and ayat
also means various signs of Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala and then he makes the mention
of one particular sign of the barakah, he
says we used to be with the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam we were with the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in one of
the journeys and we were on a journey
with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and
we ran short of water what happened, the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said he said
if anyone has any water, anything remaining, even
little, bring it to me so a companion
they got together and they gathered the water
whatever few drops or few sips anyone had,
they gathered all together in one pot and
they brought that pot to the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wa sallam the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam entered his hand into that pot of
water the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam then
he said to his companion come towards a
blessed water and then he said actually barakah
is from Allah so he clarified there and
then that I have entries, now only the
water increased, the companion Abdullah Masood radiallahu anhu
says and when the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam raised his hand, we saw the water
was gushing out of the fingers of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and then he
said this is from Allah, this is not
from me so the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa
sallam declared it there and he made it
clear and then Abdullah Masood radiallahu anhu continued,
he says during the time of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, sometime we used to
hear a food glorifying Allah this was a
miracle we used to hear the food glorifying
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, doing the tasbih
of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala while the
food is being consumed so this is authentic
hadith that is collected by Imam Al-Bukhari
rahimahullah on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn
Masood radiallahu ta'ala anhu so the evidence
here in this hadith is as the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said the blessing is
from Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala even the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he was granted
blessing and barakah from Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala secondly, second point with regards to seeking
barakah that we need to bear in mind
is that objects, people time statements, saying or
any action are all means, various means of
barakah of seeking barakah but not the main
source the source of barakah is Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala if we find a barakah
in something, we find barakah in a particular
place or barakah is found in a particular
time then all these are for us to
benefit from these means not to take them
as a source of me mubarak so Isa
a.s himself is not a source of
barakah rather he is blessed, he is mubarak
he is given barakah from Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala, and likewise I mentioned when you
make dua for someone you say barakah allahu
laka wa barakah alayk may Allah make you
a means of barakah, so through you Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala bring khair and goodness
within your family okay it is like medicine
so you use medicine and two individuals for
example two individuals, two persons have headache okay,
exactly the same symptoms both of them they
take paracetamol for one it works for another
person it doesn't work medicine is the same
symptoms are same, illness is same everything is
same, even the age may be same, everything
is same, but for one person that medicine
works exact same medicine doesn't work for other
person, why?
because Allah has not placed shifa in the
medicine for that individual so shifa comes from
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala the medicine is
what?
is a means of of getting shifa the
means towards shifa but actual shifa comes from
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala Sayyiduna Ibrahim A
.S. says wa idha marid fa huwa yashfeen
whenever I fall ill, Allah is the one
who grants me shifa Rasulullah S.A.W
whenever he would visit a sick person he
would make dua and he encouraged us to
to remember this to make this dua for
the sick person O Allah remove the sickness
O Allah grant shifa because you are the
one who grants shifa there is no shifa
except your shifa there is no cure except
the cure that you grant shifa Allah O
Allah grant such a cure, such a shifa
that does not leave any illness behind so
anything that we consider as mubarak a place
or time object any words anything that we
say that is mubarak they are the means
of barakah means of seeking barakah but not
the actual source of barakah source of barakah
is Allah Dhul Jalal the third point that
we need to remember with regards to the
barakah is that we do not have any
evidence from the Quran and Sunnah we can't
made up things okay so for example an
object example of an object is black stone
hajar ul aswad okay, touching the black stone
is the sunnah of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam yes and what is the barakah of
that black stone what is the barakah what
is the khair in this yeah, it is
a means of getting your sins forgiven as
it is mentioned in the hadith reported by
Imam At-Tirmidhi Rahimahullah then the black stone
came from Jannah and when it came down,
it was white the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
said the sins of the children of Adam
made the stone turn black so it is
as if the stone sucks the sin by
the permission of Allah, is a means of
attaining the forgiveness of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta
'ala that is to do with the hajar
ul aswad, because we have an evidence for
that what about the other stones by which
the entire Kaaba is built is there any
barakah in touching the entire Kaaba huh no
why not?
no mention, no evidence this is the point
no matter if you stay the whole night
holding the ghulaf of the Kaaba, the cover
of the Kaaba, or rubbing your body with
the stone, with the walls of the Kaaba
is this something for which we have an
evidence?
no Abdullah ibn Umar radiallahu ta'ala he
was asked about touching rukn ul yamani, the
yamani corner the corner of the Kaaba that
is just before al hajar ul aswad and
he said no, this is not from the
sunnah of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam I
think in Mu'awiyah radiallahu ta'ala he
was also asked what about touching all four
corners of the Kaaba obviously hajar ul aswad
is one, and the other three corners seek
barakah by touching all corners of the Kaaba
and the reply that was given to him
was that because we have no evidence and
nowadays unfortunately we find people, we find people
not only touching the Kaaba fighting on touching
the Kaaba let alone hajar ul aswad there
is a huge fight always pushing each other
men, women, okay and children, everyone and they
long queue always okay, but not only hajar
ul aswad, the rest the all four walls
of the Kaaba people fight and think that
rubbing my body with the Kaaba is something
that is going to give me a lot
of barakah and if someone says, brother this
is something that is not permissible, what are
you saying wahabi, okay, you don't believe subhanallah,
if you are not going to get barakah
from Kaaba where are you going to get
the barakah from then is this the evidence
no this religion of Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala is not left to the understanding of
anyone that you make up things the way
you think it is, no if that's the
case, then if you open that door, what
would happen from Kaaba it will go to
mataf okay people may rub their bodies with
the mataf with the floor, and then all
the pillars of the haram a new extension
is going on okay, where would you put
the, where you put stop you're going to
continue unfortunately, this is what's been happening maqam
Ibrahim Ibrahim A.S. station, the way Ibrahim
A.S. stood on that stone that is
covered okay and people fight over it and
actually I myself experienced it many years ago
in one of the hajj groups, there was
someone with us and each time he would
do tawaf he would touch the Kaaba, and
he would touch maqam Ibrahim, he would touch
this and that and then he would come
back to his room and would say, today
I touched maqam Ibrahim, this maqam one day
I said, brother, this is not from the
sunnah he got very upset what are you
talking about, you wahabi, you don't believe in
any barakah, you don't believe in anything I
said, please bring an evidence what is the
evidence people fight previously, what used to happen
during the very busy period they used to
cover they used to fold up the cover
of the Kaaba and what was the reason,
you always see that white part of the
Kaaba underneath, okay, so what was the reason,
because people doing the tawaf, they used to
carry scissors, and they used to try to
cut a small piece of the cover of
the Kaaba and to bring back home to
show everyone, I have the piece of the
Kaaba I have the piece of the cover
of the Kaaba why?
sorry they are saying, we are stealing barakah
because that cover has touched the wall of
the Kaaba okay so I'm not here, I'm
not making fun of them, but this is
a reality unfortunately so the point here is
that we need to understand for any means
of barakah we need to have an evidence
if there is no evidence, because our deen
is from Allah A to Z from Allah
and this deen is complete and perfect and
if you think that the Prophet has left
something unclear or if you do not know
then don't go down to that route until
you find an evidence okay so this is
another thing that is very important you need
to be in mind for any means of
barakah, you need to have an evidence from
the Quran and sunnah of the Prophet let
me give you another example of of a
time okay, can someone remind me any particular
time that is a mubarak time or the
time that is full of barakah okay last
hour before maghrib, on the day of Friday,
okay last ten nights, okay okay, that is
a virtuous time you can say but I'm
talking about particular clear evidence of the time
that is blessed time okay it
is a great honor for the Prophet and
for his followers, no doubt but is that
night a night of barakah we have no
evidence masjid al-aqsa is yes, masjid al
-aqsa and the surrounding of masjid al-aqsa
we have an evidence but for that night
which people have made or singled out as
27th night of the month of Rajab okay,
although there is huge you know ikhtilaf amongst
the amongst the scholars or historians about that
night and even not only nights, the month
and year, the year in which the mi
'raj took place and the month in which
it took place and the night, there's so
many different opinions and you leave all those
opinions and you single out one particular night
and you say definitely it was 27th of
Rajab without any solid evidence, okay you may
believe in that but the problem is when
you single out that night and you say
that was a special night and in that
night, let's get together in the masjid to
offer and stay awake whole night to offer
qiyam ul-layl make a special dua, this
and that why?
because it's a special night it's a night
full of barakah do we have an evidence?
no, no evidence okay whether it is a
place or time or object or anything for
every single means of barakah we need to
have an evidence otherwise every day may be
the day of barakah for each one of
us it can be the entire day can
be the entire day of barakah if we
obey Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala we ask
for his barakah, we ask for his blessing
he can barakah laylatul qadr and the rest
of the nights so the point here is
that for any means of barakah we need
to have an evidence from the Quran and
the sunnah of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam,
now let's go on into the details of
the permissible ways of barakah of seeking barakah
and impermissible ways of seeking barakah first and
foremost seeking barakah from the blessed and mubarak
wujud and the jassad and the body of
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and from his
limbs this is something that is established that
is established that is for which we have
many evidences in the hadith of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam such as the narration of
Aisha radhiyallahu ta'ala mentioned previously in the
lesson of ruqya Aisha radhiyallahu ta'ala says
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam when he fell
ill, he alayhi salatu wasallam continued doing ruqya
upon himself by reciting mu'awwidat, suratul ikhlas,
suratul falaq and suratul nas he used to
recite and he would blow on his hands
and then wipe over his body this was
the daily routine of the Prophet alayhi salatu
wasallam and she says when the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam I used to recite mu'awwidat
last three surah of the Quran I used
to recite for the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
and after reciting I would blow in the
hands of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and
I would grab the hand of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam and would wipe over his
body because of the barakah that Allah had
placed in his hands this is in Sahih
Bukhari the body and the limbs of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam they were mubarak they
were the means of barakah another evidence is
the hadith of Anas ibn Malik radiyallahu ta
'ala who says and it used to happen
quite regularly that whenever the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam would offer the fajr prayer the servants
of Medina or the young children of Medina
they used to bring their vessels to the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and in those vessels
used to be water and there would not
be any vessel except the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam would dip his hand in it and
what was the reason for to seek barakah
through their means the blessed hands of Rasulullah
sallallahu alayhi wasallam Anas radiyallahu ta'ala says
and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam would not
be stingy on passing on the barakah and
sometime what would happen it would be very
very cold night and the water would be
very cold but the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
never refused anyone and then he sallallahu alayhi
wasallam would dip his hand in the vessel
of every individual okay another hadith is hadith
of Anas ibn Malik radiyallahu ta'ala who
talks about his beloved mother Umm Sulaym radiyallahu
ta'ala he says the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam entered upon us he came to our
house and it was it was during the
during the day not at night during the
day the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam came to
our house and he took some rest he
laid down and he lied down and he
alayhi sallallahu wasallam had a little nap and
what happened my mother Umm Sulaym radiyallahu ta
'ala she saw that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam started sweating and she rushed towards a
small bottle and she brought that bottle and
she started rubbing with the forehead of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and his arms in
order to get and to retain that the
sweat of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam in
the bottle and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
all of a sudden he woke up and
he said what is this Umm Sulaym Umm
Sulaym what are you doing what are you
doing Umm Sulaym and she said O Messenger
of Allah I am gathering your sweat so
that I can mix it with our perfume
and when we mix your sweat with our
perfume it becomes the best perfume and then
in another narration says she said O Messenger
of Allah I am gathering your sweat so
that we can pass on there some drops
of the sweat of your sweat to our
children for the purpose of getting barakah what
did the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam say he
said you have done something right it is
correct we approved it so the blessed body
limbs and the lungs of the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam they were full of barakah likewise
in another narration says my family sent me
to Umm Sulaym this was after the death
of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam he says my
family sent me to Umm Sulaym one of
the wives of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam they
sent me with a little bottle or utensil
of water and the narrator of the hadith
he says the narrator of the hadith his
name was Israel he gestured with his three
fingers the small part he says my family
sent me with the little small part to
Umm Sulaym and that small part was made
of silver and in it were some hairs
of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and whenever
someone would be afflicted by evil eye or
something like this people used to send their
parts or their vessels to Umm Sulaym and
she used to place those hairs of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam in that part and
then they would take their part back and
by the permission of Allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala the person would be cured okay, through
that blessing that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
has put in the hairs of the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam and this a narrator Uthman
bin Abdullah bin Mawhib he says, I looked
into that part in which there were the
hairs of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam I
saw some red hair because the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam used to dye his hair, although
there were only few, but the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam used to dye them and this
is what the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam has
recommended us as well so this is another
evidence that there is barakah in the blessed
body and the belongings of the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam, not only the body, in fact
other belongings of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
such as what is mentioned in the hadith
of Sahl bin Sa'ad radiyallahu ta'ala
of Sahl bin Sa'ad radiyallahu ta'ala
who says ja'at imra'atun inan nabi
sallallahu alayhi wasallam bi burda a lady came
to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and she
brought a sheet of cloth to the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam Sahl, the companion the narrator
of this hadith when he was narrating this
hadith he said to his people, do you
know what does burda mean, burda?
they said, no what do you mean by
burda?
he says it is it is a sheet
of cloth with the fringe and it was
brought to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam that
woman brought that sheet to the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam and she said O Messenger of
Allah, I would love you to wear this
sheet the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam accepted that gift as though
he was in need of it it seemed
that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam needed that
and she gifted and the Prophet sallallahu alayhi
wasallam accepted that the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
straight away he wore that sheet amongst the
companions a person stood up and he said
O Messenger of Allah what a beautiful sheet
of cloth O Messenger of Allah can you
please give it to me the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam said naam, yes, you can have
it and this was the mercy of our
beloved Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam although he himself
was in need of it but he would
never ever refuse anyone he would never refuse
anyone he said naam, yes, you can have
it and he gave it to him straight
away and then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam
left when he left the rest of the
companions within their sitting, within their gathering they
started blaming this individual and they said you
didn't do something nice you saw the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam the way the Prophet sallallahu
alayhi wasallam accepted it as if he was
in need of that then you asked him
and then you saw it and then you
asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam if the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam didn't need and then
you asked the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam there
was something different but you knew that the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam needed that and yet
you asked him and the habit of the
Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and the practice of
the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam that whenever he
is asked for anything, he never refuses yet
you asked him what he said Rajautu Barakataha.
The reason I asked for it because I
wanted the Baraka of this sheet, of this
sheet of cloth I wanted the Baraka of
it.
How?
Rajautu Barakataha heena Labi Sahan Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam.
He explained further he said I could have
asked the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam for that
sheet before wearing it but I never asked.
In fact I asked when the Prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam wore it so that she touched
the blessed body of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam and then I asked him.
So my intention was to take the Baraka
and to seek the Baraka through that sheet
and then he says it is also my
intention that this sheet is used as my
coffin, as my shrouding when I die.
This is in Sahih Bukhari.
In another narration it is mentioned that when
this Sahabi passed away he was shrouded in
that sheet Subhanallah.
It shows that deep love of the companions
of Rasulullah Sallallahu Asallam for him Alaihi Salatu
Salam and it is shows us the mercy
and the Rahma and soft-heartedness of Rasulullah
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam for his companions and for
his Ummah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
So anyway the point here is that Allah
Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala had placed Baraka in
the belongings of the Prophet Alaihi Salatu Salam
as well.
Okay we said seeking Baraka from the blessed
body of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam as
well as the belongings of the Prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam.
Is this something that is possible for us
now in this age and time?
No?
What about the hay of the Prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam that are presented in gatherings during
the month of particularly.
I'm sure you are aware of this.
Okay people gather together to have a look
at the hay of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam.
Those people should be asked that question and
amongst themselves those who celebrate the Milad and
the birthday of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
they themselves many of them they have objected
to that and they know that only a
few years ago this is something that has
started.
Okay say about 15-20 years ago this
didn't exist.
Okay and now almost everywhere you find a
person not one person and now few people
in different areas in Pakistan, in India, in
Bangladesh, in Turkey, in Iraq, in this country
and that country.
How many hays of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam?
And if you ask them where did you
get these hays from?
What would be the answer?
Do you know the answer?
I can give you the answer.
Okay the answer is.
Okay look into SubhanAllah.
The answer is the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
is still alive.
When he's alive his hays are also alive
and when you are alive your hays continue
what?
Growing and the hays of the Prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam are growing and they're gonna continue
growing all the way up to the day
of judgment even if you cut them.
Okay so a person would say I obtained
these hays from so-and-so and he
obtained from so-and-so and he from
so-and-so.
Okay if you believe in this then what?
You may believe in the reality of those
hays as well and unfortunately.
Okay but the fact of the matter is
that this is something that's all made up.
We have no evidence whatsoever for it.
We have no evidence apart from big claims.
A person says I got these hays from
so-and-so.
Who is that so-and-so?
The religion of Allah Subhanahu wa'ta'ala is
preserved.
Okay Allah saved this religion through the efforts
of Muhaddithin, Rahimahumullahu ajma'een who made great
efforts in verifying the individuals who used to
report the hadith of the Prophet and unfortunately
these ignorants and the juhal they are playing
when it comes to taking your religion.
You can't take your religion from everyone from
anyone from everyone and then he used to
say al-isnaad the chain of narration is
part of the religion because if there wasn't
a chain of narration if there wasn't al
-isnaad then whoever wanted to say whatever they
wanted they could have said that in the
within the deen of Allah.
Okay but when it comes to these kind
of things we are the chains of narration
nothing at all and if there's no chain
of narration you don't accept.
When the Muhaddithin they set the criteria for
the authenticity of the hadith they put the
very strict criteria.
Imam Al-Bukhari Rahimahullah once he was informed
that so-and-so narrates one hadith of
the Prophet and he traveled to that individual.
He took a long journey took a long
journey and he when he approached him he
saw that he was trying to get his
horse closer to him by showing him that
he had something in his lap so that
the horse can come closer to him but
in reality there was nothing he wasn't holding
anything in his lap all he wanted to
basically bring the horse closer to him and
when Imam Al-Bukhari Rahimahullah saw that individual
doing this he left he didn't even ask
him please narrate the hadith to me and
he was asked for that he was asked
for the reason of him leaving without taking
the hadith from him and he said I
saw that person deceiving an animal and if
a person who can deceive animal how can
I trust such person this was the criteria
that Muhaddithin said for the hadith and now
someone comes and he says I have this
I have that I report this and that
without chain of narration this all rubbish or
based on jahal, ignorant may follow them but
a person of little knowledge and little Iman
can't follow them you can't accept so the
point is that we believe in the Ahlul
Sunnah wal Jamaah, Ahlul Hadith, the Salafis we
believe in the barakah of the blessed body
of Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam in the limbs
of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam in the
belonging of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam it
did exist and we can't deny it because
we have clear evidences in the hadith of
the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam but the question
is do we have any evidence that any
of those belongings of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam still exist if you go to Pakistan
the museum in a museum you find the
turban of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam the
stick of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam the
slippers of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam okay
what is there what is the evidence no
evidence and people go and today basically have
in a frame in a glass this is
all lack of knowledge and not knowing and
not understanding the deen of Allah Subhanahu wa'ta
'ala the deen of Allah is not a
joke you got to take it serious accept
whatever you have the evidence for in the
Quran the hadith of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam if there is no evidence don't follow
Allah says to his Nabi in the Quran
don't follow for which you have no knowledge
on the day of judgment Allah is going
to ask you about your hearing you heard
someone saying Allah's Messenger said this in the
did you try to verify you are going
to be questioned your sight Allah is going
to question you read you read somewhere you
read on internet on Google or Facebook on
this and that you read and you started
believing in it without verifying it you are
going to be questioned Allah is going to
question you about your hearing about your sight
about your heart whatever you believed in you
will be questioned therefore take the deen of
Allah Subhanahu wa'ta'ala serious and don't believe
in anything no matter how pious and righteous
the person is don't believe in anyone or
anything without a solid evidence from the book
of Allah and from the hadith of Rasulullah
Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam this is a straight path
this is the clear straight path okay continue
with the permissible ways of seeking we mentioned
to the body of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi
Wasallam and the belongings of the Prophet Sallallahu
Alaihi Wasallam the third one is seeking Baraka
from the recitation of the Quran you through
you seek Baraka through the recitation of the
Quran Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam says Iqra'ul
Qur'ana fa'innahu ya'ti yawmul qiyamati shafi
'an li ashabihi recite the Quran on a
regular basis for that Quran will come as
intercessor for you on the day of judgment
and then he said Iqra'ul zahrawayna al
-baqara wa surat al-imran constantly and regularly
keep reciting two bright ones al-baqara surat
al-baqara and surat al-imran fa'innahu
ya'ti yawmul qiyamati ka'annahuma ghamamatani au ka
'annahuma ghayabatani au ka'annahuma firqani min tayir
sawaf tuhajjani an ashabihima on the day of
judgment surat al-baqara and surat al-imran
they will come as a cloud or as
a shade or as a flock of birds
on top of the head of the person
who used to recite them on a regular
basis they will be granting a shade on
the day of judgment and then he says
Iqra'ul surat al-baqara and particularly initially
he said read the Quran have the habit
and the practice of reading Quran and from
within the Quran particularly surat al-baqara and
al-imran and then more specifically he said
Iqra'ul surat al-baqara the habit of
reciting surat al-baqara on a regular basis
fa'inna akhdaha baraka holding on to surat
al-baqara having strong attachment to surat al
-baqara is baraka fa'inna akhdaha baraka taking
it reciting it pondering on it reading on
a regular basis is nothing other than baraka
wa tarqaha hasra and abandoning surat al-baqara
is is a source of is a cause
of regret on the day of judgment wala
tastati'u hal-batala and the magicians cannot
confront surat al-baqara this is the baraka
of reciting the Quran as also as I
mentioned earlier on Allah says wahadha kitabun anzalnahu
mubarak the entire Quran is the means of
baraka it is full of baraka and the
blessings number four seeking baraka from certain actions
the actions that the Prophet s.a.w.
has guided us towards those actions are the
actions or those actions can be considered should
be considered as a means of baraka means
of seeking baraka from Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala
wahshi bin harb a companion later he became
a companion someone who killed Hamza r.a
in the battle of Uhud later Allah subhanahu
wa'ta'ala guided him and he became a
companion he says some of the companion of
the Prophet s.a.w. came to the
Prophet s.a.w. and they kind of
showed their concern or complain you can say
they say ya Rasulullah we whenever we have
our food we we have enough food but
we don't feel that we are satisfied we
continue eating but our hunger is not it's
not satisfied so what do we do the
Prophet s.a.w. said it's seen that
whenever you have food you all eat separately
they said naam yes this is true o
Messenger of Allah the Prophet s.a.w.
said make sure whenever you have food within
a family within a house whenever you have
food gather together on your food wadhkuru ismallahi
alaih and then always start by making a
mention of the name of Allah subhanahu wa'ta
'ala yubarak lakum fee Allah will grant you
baraka in that food so here the baraka
means that Allah will place the khair in
that food and the khair in the food
is even if you have a little it
would be sufficient for you it would be
enough for you that is but what he
complained about is not having baraka he said
we had enough food but we don't feel
that we had enough we keep eating and
then we still feel hungry the Prophet s
.a.w. said this is because there is
no baraka and if you were to eat
together likewise the Prophet s.a.w. said
tasahharu fa inna fis sahuri baraka try to
have the pre-dawn meal the suhoor okay
fa inna fis sahuri baraka because the food
that you consume in that time there is
baraka in it and it is a reality
it is a fact is something that is
tested and trialed okay in the month of
Ramadan unfortunately many of us we have you
know bad of eating a lot at the
time of iftar and for suhoor we say
I don't need anything okay because before going
to sleep I had I fill my stomach
so I don't feel any hunger hungry anymore
so I don't we as the Sunnah of
the Prophet s.a.w. is to have
little at the time of iftar very little
so that you can perform the qiyam and
the taraweeh easily and then have food at
the time of sahar or that have the
suhoor okay because that time even if you
eat little that would be sufficient for you
and it will help you to pass through
the entire day without feeling too hungry okay
so that is so this is another action
towards the Prophet s.a.w. has guided
us that the saharu have a suhoor because
in that action in that food in that
time there is baraka likewise seeking baraka from
certain places such as what yeah
that object place such as Makkah inna awwala
baytin wudia al innaasi lallazi bi bakkata mubarakan
let's say the very first house built on
the face of this earth for the worship
of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala the house that
is in bakka bakka is another name of
Makkah mubarak and that house is full of
baraka but we explained that what does it
mean full of basically you go to Makkah
you perform all those righteous actions that the
Prophet s.a.w. has taught us do
the tawaf the saaj and offer the salah
okay and perform umrah so all these action
the permissible action for which we have evidence
okay it doesn't mean that the Makkah and
the land and the building and everything within
Makkah individually everything is full of baraka and
you go there and you bring some of
soil or mud back and you say because
it's Makkah Allah said in the Quran Makkah
is mubarak no this is not what the
ayah of the Quran means Makkah entire city
is mubarak mubarak by by doing certain good
deeds in that and the sign of baraka
of Makkah is that you offer one salah
and you are rewarded for more than 100
,000 prayers that is the baraka of Makkah
okay that is continuously running and never ends
and in that water Allah has placed baraka
okay so these are the signs and within
Makkah we have black stone we have the
house of Allah subhanahu wa'ta'ala so these
are the blessings and these are the barakat
of Makkah so we seek baraka from Makkah
by visiting the house of Allah and by
performing certain actions likewise seeking baraka from certain
times as we mentioned early on seeking baraka
from Laylatul Qadr the night that is full
of baraka in order to emphasize Allah says
in surah al-qadr that night is full
of peace and baraka until until the fajr
time meaning the entire night is full of
baraka okay let's move on to the second
part which is the types of impermissible tabarruk
impermissible ways of seeking baraka seeking baraka from
objects we briefly said anything for which you
have no evidence that is impermissible the companion
of the Prophet s.a.w. they were
traveling with the Prophet s.a.w. and
they passed by a tree a particular tree
on which the mushrikeen they used to hang
their weapons with the intention of seeking baraka
from that particular tree and they used to
believe that if you hang your sword on
your weapons on that tree and then you
use those weapons that are going to be
very useful okay that was the intention of
their belief so the companion passed by that
particular tree and they said to Messenger of
Allah s.a.w. and that tree was
named as that Anwat okay they said to
Messenger of Allah s.a.w. O Messenger
of Allah s.a.w. can you not
please identify or can you not make for
us a tree the way the mushrikeen have
a tree by which we can seek the
baraka when they saw the people of Fir
'aun worshipping the idol they said O Musa
make for us a god as these people
have their gods so that we have something
in front of our eyes so that we
something that we can visualize something we can
see okay so Rasulullah s.a.w. said
this is very similar to what the people
of Musa s.a.w. said and then
he said By Allah by the one in
whose hand is my soul you will definitely
follow the footsteps of the people before you
the way they went into innovations and khurafat
and they follow their desires you people will
follow their footsteps as well okay so here
the evidence is that we cannot make anything
and say that you know certain thing or
tree or place is full of baraka without
an evidence if there is no evidence from
the quran sunnah that is not permissible to
seek baraka from such a such thing likewise
seeking baraka from any particular place for example
without any evidence okay Abu Huraira s.a
.w. who says that I met Basra bin
Abi Basra al-Ghaifari a companion of the
Prophet s.a.w. he says I met
Basra bin Abi Basra and he asked me
where are you coming from and I was
coming from visiting the mountain Toor he said
I'm coming back from a tour and he
said if I met you before you went
out to tour you would have not gone
there why because I heard the messenger of
Allah s.a.w. saying you should not
make a special journey with the intention of
seeking baraka and blessing towards any place except
three places except three places masjid al-haram
masjid al-nabawi and masjid al-aqsa and
other than that you go to any particular
place you come to Greenland masjid that there
is baraka particular baraka in this masjid and
you go to that masjid there more yes
when it comes to the number of congregation
or number of the congregation that there is
evidence the Prophet s.a.w. the hadith
of the Prophet s.a.w. indicate that
the the bigger the congregation is the greater
reward okay you pray in a masjid we
are only five six people and you pray
in a masjid we are 500 people so
there is more reward because you have you
are going to get more reward that is
permissible but to go to any particular masjid
because because of certain activities or certain things
that take place in that masjid and the
masjid becomes a blessed no okay the house
of Allah s.a.w. or equal after
those three places baytullah masjid al-haram masjid
al-nabawi and masjid al-aqsa all are
equal okay another so likewise seeking baraka from
places for which we have no evidences such
as the cave hira okay people go for
umrah or hajj and they make efforts to
go all the way to the top of
the jabal al-noor the mountain noor why
in order if your intention is to just
simply visit and see where the prophet s
.a.w. was staying uh before he received
the revelation just for the knowledge purpose it
is permissible but for you to go there
in order to touch that spot and to
seek baraka and then unfortunately on top of
this what selfies okay that is probably biggest
source of baraka nowadays unfortunately no evidence praying
salah day and people go there and they
offer the salah two rakaat day why because
this is the place where the prophet s
.a.w. used to worship Allah okay so
is there any evidence if there was any
significance of that the prophet s.a.w.
would have guided his companions he would have
encouraged his company he would have courage encouraged
his ummah to go and visit that particular
spot he never likewise you go to mountain
uh you visit the mountain uhud it's in
order for you to understand the seerah and
to for your knowledge purpose it is permissible
you go there you should go there but
to go there in order to touch the
mountain uhud and try to bring some soil
from there or some small pebbles from there
this this is not this is not from
sunnah this is something that is not permissible
likewise the mountain in arafat that is named
that has been named as jabal ur rahma
the mountain of mercy okay on the day
of arafat some people some hujjaj they waste
their time of walking along you know some
time number of hours making the efforts to
go to that particular mountain believing that the
mountain is full of baraka and full of
rahma what is the evidence no evidence this
is just my parents my forefathers my peer
my imam sahib my maulana he said evidence
from the religion no from the quran no
from hadith no did the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam encourage companions to go to that
particular spot no in fact the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam said to his companions i'm
staying in this particular spot within the plane
of arafat and then he said so he
made it easy for us anyway seeking baraka
from such places for which we have no
evidences there is no it is not permissible
likewise trying to seek baraka from any particular
time for which we have no evidence okay
rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam said don't single
out the night of friday night of friday
means night before the day of friday which
we call thursday night okay don't single out
that night believing that next day is the
best day of the week no doubt more
virtuous state of a day of the week
no doubt but does it mean that the
night before becomes a special night he said
no don't do this don't single out the
day of friday for observing the fast unless
someone has a habit of fasting for example
every three days you know three white days
of every month and within those three days
comes friday you may fast because in this
way you are not singling out the day
of friday for fasting okay so again the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam has prohibited us
from from singling out any particular time with
the intention of seeking baraka from that particular
time if we have no evidence from the
hadith of rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam so
the conclusion is that baraka cannot be sought
from anyone's body or belongings after the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam my sheikh touched this
bottle so i'm going to touch it because
of baraka no unfortunately it leads towards innovation
it opens the doors towards the fitna okay
yeah out of your love your attachment to
your parents you may wear something okay this
is the coat that my father wore so
i'm wearing because i love it that's it
no more than that not because my father
was so pious and he wore it and
now i'm wearing it i'm going to get
baraka no okay the baraka can be sought
you know it was permissible to see the
baraka from the body of the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam during his life but after
his demise we have no evidence of any
of the belongings of the prophet and the
hadith of rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam when
permissible baraka must be sought the way it
is prescribed this is also important when you
seek baraka you seek baraka the way it
is prescribed as i just mentioned about mecca
the entire city of mecca allah says is
the blessed city but how do you seek
baraka from mecca how do you use mecca
as as as a means of baraka by
doing the actions towards which the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wa sallam has guided you not making
up your own actions and seeking baraka from
individuals objects places without evidence can lead can
possibly lead to shirk or innovation okay so
that's all for today inshallah if anyone has
any question related to the topic you can
ask inshallah what are the means we can
take to have baraka in our time subhanallah
this was a whole lesson about times i
mentioned i gave some example of the time
the laylatul qadr so seeking baraka of laylatul
qadr is what again the way the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam sought the baraka from
laylatul qadr what did he do he woke
up and spent he spent his night in
offering the night prayer reciting the quran making
dua during the dhikr of allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala okay that is the the way
of seeking baraka from laylatul qadr not any
other actions okay this is very important when
we say you seek baraka any particular place
or time it has to be it has
to be the way it has been described
by the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam okay
not making your own not making up your
own uh actions okay if so nowadays unfortunately
you find people uh promoting what on laylatul
qadr particularly promoting what charity one of the
best opportunity to fundraise on laylatul qadr one
of the last ten nights okay believing that
your reward is increased even giving charity the
evidence then the nights are blessed nights and
laylatul qadr is a blessed night okay but
is this what the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam did he encourage his companions no you
may say visiting a sikh is such a
righteous deed that the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam has encouraged us and he said whoever
visits a sikh allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
appoints 70 000 angels to make dua for
him and this is special night tonight laylatul
qadr i'm going to go to heartland hospital
i'm gonna visit 10 sikh in order to
get reward and get the baraka of laylatul
qadr no my dear brother you need to
understand the religion practice the religion by following
the sunnah of rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
okay so this is what you mean you
see baraka by following the sunnah of the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam the way he
alaihi salatu wasalam has taught us okay some
museums claim to have belonging of the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasalam is this also not true
allahu alam okay i said unless someone proves
through authentic narration we have the deen of
allah the entire deen of allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala is preserved allah promised in the
quran and this is part of my iman
and should be part of your iman the
entire deen of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
is preserved inna nahnu nazzalna dhikra if these
things that belong to the prophet were part
of the religion allah would have preserved them
and we would have the chain of narration
if we have no chain of narration then
don't don't go into into these things okay
do we read al-baqarah al-imran every
day bismillah if you can do every day
then no good this is what the prophet
sallallahu alaihi wasallam encouraged he said read as
much as you can you complete the baqarah
al-imran and you go start again and
again and again keep doing it again again
okay is it haram to take a righteous
person to make dua for us no it
is not haram we mentioned previously that you
ask right this is one of the permissible
ways of seeking wasila that you ask someone
to make dua for you okay is this
considered seeking blessing no it is not considered
seeking blessing this is something that is permissible
again everything must be based on evidence we
have evidence for that so we do that
okay is anything that has been bought from
medina if someone brings you a gift they
got from medina mubarak no no the date
ajwa ajwa date is mubarak no doubt any
other date the shukri i love shukri okay
the other types of dates because they they
are the dates from medina normal dates there's
no difference between those dates and the dates
from algeria tunisia okay or other countries no
difference okay what exactly is the regular basin
regarding reciting satal baqarah the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam didn't describe how regular he encouraged us
to recite obviously there is no limit when
it comes to the recitation of the quran
there's no limit recite as much as you
can what are the virtues of reading al
-baqarah al-imran there are so many virtues
and this lesson is not about the virtues
of al-baqarah al-imran and there are
so many i mentioned only one hadith is
the barakah in the early morning yes early
morning is the mubarak waqt mubarak time faily
um allah mubarakly allah mubarakly ummati fee bukuria
wallah grant baraka to my umma in their
mornings okay and this is something that has
been experienced that the work you can do
if you wake up for satal fajr you
offer satal fajr you do your morning adhkar
and then you work the work the amount
of work you can get it done that
time you may not be able within 15
20 minutes half an hour whatever you can
do in the morning you may not be
able to do by spending two three hours
during the day so no doubt that is
mubarak again we have an evidence for that
okay okay what did rasul sallam dye his
beard hair with with the hina okay that
we call mehndi is a mubarak for men
to dye their hair red and also okay
it's not mubarak we can't say mubarak if
you're if you have white hair it's not
mubarak if you dye red it's become mubarak
no this is not the case this is
only the sunnah of the prophet sallallahu alaihi
wasallam and the uh the the instruction or
the you know encouragement of the prophet sallallahu
alaihi wasallam visiting the grave of family member
and making dua for them is this the
means of baraka for the deceased no no
making dua okay that's why i give you
the definition of baraka that is important to
understand the definition of baraka okay when you
go and visit cemetery you visit the grave
of of your beloved ones you make dua
for them okay and your dua by the
permission of allah subhanahu wa ta'ala would
be beneficial for them okay but you say
that your visit become mubarak and it is
probably not right term to use okay what
what brings baraka to our time okay good
question what brings baraka to our time if
you want baraka in your time how do
you obtain baraka how you seek baraka in
your time basically if you want your time
to utilize in in the best manner best
way possible what do you do read quran
during the zikr of allah subhanahu wa ta
'ala stay obedient to allah and to his
messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam offer your daily prayers
okay by being obedient to allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala you attain baraka in your time
which means that in a little time you
can do a lot by the permission of
allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is the time
between the qama and adhan in mubarak uh
i don't know if there is any particular
hadith that has called that time mubarak but
that is the time in which the dua
is answered stayed awake offering the night prayer
in lilatul qadr and part of his night
prayer obviously was the restoration of the quran
and dua and the dhikr of allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala and this is what the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam has encouraged us and
this is what he uh said to aisha
radiyallahu ta'ala when she asked oh messenger
of allah if allah allow me to witness
lilatul qadr what should i say he alaihissalatu
wasallam said say so making dua is one
of the ways of seeking baraka from lilatul
qadr okay any question from the floor i
think these are enough inshallah online questions okay
jazakumullahu khairan subhanaka allahumma wabihamdik
