This is the 21st chapter of the book
titled
Helping and Assisting
one another
in righteousness
and piety,
meaning
in performing good deeds,
helping one another,
advising one another
and encouraging
each other
in
doing the righteous
acts
and performing good deeds.
As usual, Imam Nawawi Rahmahullah,
he starts the chapter with quoting the
verse or part of the verse of Surat
Al Maidah in which Allah
says,
Help one another,
assist one another
in righteousness
and piety.
And Allah
also said,
by the time,
Verily,
without a doubt,
indeed,
mankind, the whole mankind is in loss.
Except those who believed
and those who performed righteous deeds,
and those
who advised one another
on truth
or the or with truth.
What a wasa will be sabr
and those who advise
one another
to have patience.
This Surah particularly Suratul Asr
is
one of the greatest Surahs
that
basically covers all aspects of Islam.
There are certain Surahs in the Qur'an,
that the scholars have said that one single
Surah
covers
all the aspects of Islam, such as Suratul
Fatiha,
which is known as
Fatiha, the opening
surah of the Quran, Fatih tul Kitab and
it is also known as Umul Kitab,
the mother of the book. Meaning
that,
that, that Surah Suttul Fatiha
is like a mother.
As the mother is the central point of
all the children.
Sons, daughters,
young,
older,
all the kids always turn back to mother.
Likewise, rutulfatihah
is umul kitab.
Whatever has been discussed in the Quran,
you find
the summary of it within Suratul Fatiha.
Likewise, Surat Al Khilas,
one single Surah
covers all the aspects of the Tawhid of
Allah
Likewise, Suratul Asr is one of those surahs
about which Imam Shafi'i
Rahimahullah said,
If Allah
had not sent
any other surah,
or
if Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala had not
revealed
any other surah of the Quran
on his
creation except this surah, like a Fatum,
it would have been sufficient for them. Because
one single surah covers all the aspects of
Islam.
How?
If we were to look at the meaning
of this Surah, and that is why the
scholars have
written books
explaining
and doing the tafseer of this one single
surah,
which consists of only 3 verses. And out
of these 3 verses, the first
verse,
the first verse, the first,
very first verse of this Surah is only
one single word, walasr.
Walasr.
This is one word of 1
single verse, the first verse of this surah.
Allah
says, walasr, by the time.
Allah says,
by the time. And he takes the oath
of the time,
which shows first and foremost the significance and
importance of time.
And time is what?
Nothing other than
the life of
a human being.
Your life is a time.
Meaning, if you waste your time, you are
wasting your life.
That is why, again, Imam al Shafi'
used to
say, someone who does not
take the best advantage,
or someone who does not make the best
usage of his time or her time,
their dying
or their death is better than living in
this dunya.
Cause there's no benefit.
If you are not taking advantage of every
single minute, every single moment of your life,
of your time, it is as if you
are wasting your life.
And every single breath that Allah
has blessed you is precious.
You may not realize now,
but when you see the angels of death,
then you will understand
the
preciousness
of one single breath. One single breath.
So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala, that is why,
highlighting the significance of time, Heid ul Jalalukram
has taken the oath of time, walasr.
And it's not only this surah,
there are other surahs in which Allah
has taken the oath of the time. Wal
Fajr, for example.
By the time of dawn,
likewise,
likewise,
So Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has taken the
oath of
different aspects of the time as well. But
the walasr,
asr refers to the actual asr time. That
is why the scholars have said, it also
shows the significance of the time of Asr
particularly,
particularly the Asr time.
Because that is the end part of the
day.
And
this is one of the
wisdoms,
of salatul Asr that Allah
has
obliged us to perform salatul Asr of 4
rakat.
And salatul asr according to
the majority of the mufasirun, salatul asr is
called
as well, The middle prayer about which Allah
says in the Quran,
Take care of all the prayers, and particularly
the Asar prayer.
Because that is the time of the day
when either you are very busy
at your
work. You may say,
no, it is the whole time, because this
is the middle of the day.
But in reality, Assar time, usually it is
the time when you are about to finish
your work.
When you are about to finish your work,
and by the end of the day,
those who have job, by the end of
the day, that is the time when you
have the most stress.
You are tired,
and you have stress.
You have the stress of all the tasks
that you have been given by your boss
to complete on that day,
and you have the fear that
you may be told off by your boss,
if you don't complete all those tasks. You
have that stress.
Working throughout the day, you are all so
tired, and you are feeling you are having
that fatigue.
And performing the salah at time at that
time,
is one of the best
means of seeking Allah's assistance and help. This
is the wisdom behind it. That is why,
out of,
out of the hikmah,
and out of the mercy, the Prophet
has not
attached any
sunan mu'akada with salatul Asr.
Whereas for salatul fajr, the prophet has
encouraged us to perform 2 sunnah before salatul
fajr. When it comes to salatul dhun, 4
rakat before dhun, 2 rakat after salatul dhun.
But when it comes to
salatul Asr,
no mu'akadah sunnah before salah.
No nawafil
after salah, is only. So it is as,
if Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is telling you
that, O my slave it is sufficient for
you if you spare
couple of minutes to perform 4 raka'ah to
seek my assistance at that time.
So, by taking the oath of the time
of Asr, Allah
has highlighted the significance of that time, wal
Asr.
And it's similar to the Fajr time, when
Allah
has taken the oath of the Fajr, wal
fajr.
That is why Rasulullah
has said,
Whoever has missed salatul asr, it is as
if he himself has caused
destruction
to his wealth and to his family.
One who misses salatul asl and he does
not pay attention to it,
then there will be no barakah. There will
be no blessings of Allah
neither in his wealth,
nor in his family.
That is why Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has
highlighted the significance
of the time of Asr by taking the
oath of it.
And then after that,
usually in the Quran when we find that
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala swears by something,
what is mentioned after that it is something
that is very very important, very very important.
So here Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
putting
extra emphasis
on this statement. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala says,
Inna. The word inna means without a doubt.
Verily, indeed,
al insan. Al insan means whole mankind, without
any exception.
Without exception of none.
All of them, with exception of none, all
the home the whole mankind
is what? Lafikhus.
Lafik, again Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala added another
lamb, that is also known as lamutaqeed.
The lamb of emphasis.
So,
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala begins the surah with
taking the oath of the time of Hasr,
then he says again, inna, putting more emphasis.
And then 3rd time, lafi,
adding lam a third time. So three
levels of emphasis, then Allah says,
verily the whole mankind is in loss. Meaning,
there is no doubt in this whatsoever.
And the word that is mentioned in this
surah is khusr.
And a few days ago, I
listened to a speech of a scholar,
who
beautifully explained the difference between this word khusr
and similar other similar words that are used
in the Quran.
In the Quran we find this word khusr,
which is
which is actually translated as loss.
But there's another word in the Quran
that
is
derived from this very word, or from these
root words, hasin wa, that is hasar.
Hasar
means, you know, bigger
loss,
not just ordinary or general loss, rather it's
high level of loss.
And then there is another word which is
also derived from this, that is hussran.
Hussran means, and the greatest,
greatest loss.
And Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has used all
3 three types of words in the
Quran.
The disbelief of the disbelievers
does not increase them
except in greater loss.
And on the day of judgement, Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala says,
On the day of judgement,
the believers will say that
the true
losers are those who have lost themselves and
those who have lost their families.
Aladhalika walqusranubin.
Nay, this is a clear
greatest loss.
That, all the wealth that you have accumulated
in this duniya,
the wealth for which,
you have spent all of your life,
your family, your kids, your children, your offspring
for which you basically forgot the commandments of
Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala, you ignored Allah's deen,
Allah's religion.
And you worked, you worked day and night
tirelessly,
very very hard work. But on the day
of judgement, nothing is going to benefit you.
That is greatest loss.
So anyway, Allah says
in this ayah,
indeed the whole mankind is in laws.
I, you, anyone, and everyone.
Then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
highlights the exception.
Except those
who have
these four qualities.
And my dear brother and sister in Islam,
it is very very important to pay attention
to these qualities, and every one of us
should be judging ourselves.
I should judge myself and you should judge
yourself.
Considering these qualities
and judging yourself based on these qualities and
see how many of these qualities you have.
And if is if there is anything missing,
you must try your best to
attain it, so that you come out of
the list of those who are in loss.
The first one is, ill ladheenaamanu,
except those who believed,
those who have iman,
which is
which makes clear
that those who are deprived from the nighmah,
from the blessings, from the favor of imaan,
they are always in loss.
No matter how intelligent they are,
no matter how rich they are,
no matter how much of luxury of the
life they have,
in the sight of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
they are in loss. They are in loss
in this duniya, they are in loss in
the hereafter.
And no doubt, the loss of the hereafter
is greater
than the loss of this duniya.
Accept those who believe. That is why, those
who have been blessed by
Allah with the name of Iman, you must
be thankful to Allah
Must be thankful to Allah
And always bear in mind that Allah has
chosen you to be a Muslim and believer
out of his bounty, out of his fable,
out of his rahma, out of his love
for you.
It is not that you deserved it.
It is not that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
gave you iman and Hidayah
because you are so intelligent. There are many
people who are more intelligent than
you. It is not because of your wealth.
There are many wealthy people out there. But
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala deprived them from iman
and hidayah.
It's not because of
any other thing, not because of your skill
sets,
Rather, it is solely, clearly
because of the fagl of Allah. And you
must be grateful to Allah for
this.
That is why Allah
has,
again out of his wisdom and mercy,
Allah
has obliged us to stand 5 times a
day,
minimum 5 times a day before Him and
each time you stand before Allah, you thank
Allah saying, Alhamdulillah.
And then you beg Allah, Iddin Surat al
Mustaqim. Oh Allah keep me on the straight
path.
This is one of the
no one of the actually, this is the
greatest blessing of Allah.
And without the iman,
without iman,
wallahi,
a human being is nothing
in the sight of Allah
Nothing at all.
The human being,
they are in the sight of Allah,
are even worse
than animals, as Allah says in the Qur'an.
Without the niyama of iman.
That is why when Allah
completed this deen, the deen of Islam,
the very last ayah that Allah revealed in
the Quran was, from sotulma'idahu,
part of the ayah.
This day I have completed for you your
religion
and
and
I have perfected
all my blessings upon you.
Meaning, if you have iman, you have all
the blessings.
Even if you do not have a wealth,
even if you are poor,
even if you have nothing to eat or
drink,
if you have iman,
you have everything.
But if you do not have iman, but
you have all the luxury of the life,
it is nothing in the sight of Allah,
Duljari.
That is why you must be thankful to
Allah. So this is the very first
quality and the characteristics
that Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has mentioned with
regards to those
who are out of the
Imaan, and obviously imaan is something that you
hold within your heart. Believe.
Your belief in Allah, your belief in the
Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, and believing in
all the 6 articles of iman.
You have that iman,
and then based on that iman, amilu salihat,
and this is the second quality or characteristic,
that you perform the righteous deeds.
Having single iman or simple iman within your
heart,
it is not going to,
it is not going to actually benefit you
in this duniya or in the hereafter.
Unless and until you try your best to
perform righteous deeds.
Fulfilling your obligations to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,
Establishing 5 daily prayers,
fasting during the month of Ramadan,
and
paying zakah.
And if Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala has enabled
you financially, you go and perform hajj.
Have a good akhlaq and good conduct.
Have best akhlaq and good mannerism,
helping one another.
All of these are part of aminu salihat,
performing righteous deeds.
This is the second characteristic.
You have iman,
and then after iman,
you continue performing righteous deeds.
Is it sufficient to have iman within your
heart, and you continue performing your righteous deeds?
No.
The third quality.
You must have the third one. That
Allah
says that the third quality of those
who are out of the category of the
losers
is watawasawbulhaqq,
that they advise one another
with truth.
With truth means, al Haqq means,
anything and everything that is truth. And the
greatest truth is what? The book of Allah
You learn the book of Allah, you teach
others.
Whatever you understand from the book of Allah,
you advise and you convey to others.
Then the hadith of the prophet you
study the hadith, you learn the hadith, you
understand the hadith, and then you pass it
on to others. You advise others as well,
and those who advise one another with truth.
And if you do so, which
also means that every single Muslim,
every single believer
must be a caller to the deen of
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
Within his and her capacity,
based on their knowledge. And as
we have previously discussed,
then in order for you to call others
to the deen of
Allah you must have necessary knowledge.
And having basic knowledge of the deen of
Allah by which you can worship Allah
correctly,
it is an obligation upon every single Muslim.
Seeking knowledge is far
upon every single Muslim.
You continue performing your salah the way you
learn from your childhood
with all the mistakes and you cannot say
that, I do not know. No, this is
not an excuse.
Bear in mind, this is not going to
be an excuse before Allah.
Allah
has blessed you with ability to understand.
Allah blessed you with time. Allah
blessed you with good health. It was your
obligation, it was your responsibility
to make some effort and seek knowledge, and
to understand and know how to perform salah
according to the sunnah of Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam.
For the past 10, 20, 30, 40 years,
you have spent,
you never studied the Quran,
and now you can't say that, I can't
read Quran, this is not excuse, this is
not an excuse.
Allah revealed the Quran for your guidance.
Again Allah bless you with your time, Allah
bless you with good help, Allah
has given you the opportunity, especially this age
and time, no one should have an any
excuse that I'm unable to learn the Quran.
There's so many ways,
so many ways of learning Quran. You could
learn Quran
in 1 to 1, you could approach a
teacher,
or you can if you if you if
you are living in an area where
you do not have an access to a
teacher or to a masjid, any nearby masjid,
go to internet.
Who amongst amongst us has no access to
the internet? Every single one of us, even
the children. They have access to the internet.
Go online.
There are so many ways of learning.
You should not you should not have an
excuse
that I am unable to read Quran. No.
This is not an excuse.
Seeking knowledge is far upon every single Muslim.
So when you seek knowledge, whatever you learn,
then it becomes your obligation to pass it
on to others.
Bear in mind that this is one of
those three things that will benefit you as
you mentioned previously.
You learn how to perform salah, you teach
someone else,
as long as they continue praying,
you will get the reward as well.
Every single time, every single time that person,
either it is your child, your spouse, your
sibling,
your relative, your friend, whoever you teach how
to perform salah according to the sunnah of
the prophet, salah alayhi, each time they stand
before Allah, they offer the salah, you will
get exactly the same reward,
Exactly the same reward.
Without any deduction in your reward or their
reward.
This is the beauty of the deen of
Allah
So what our will have to This is
the third quality. And every single Muslim
should have this quality in order
to come out of loss.
Those who believed
and performed the righteous deeds,
and they advised one another with truth.
And then the 4th one, it is also
very very important.
And without
having the 4th quality,
you cannot really
practice yodhi.
And those who advise one another
to have sabr and patience.
The sabr itself is a vast,
very broad topic.
And particularly here in this surah, it refers
to the type of sabr that is required
when you practice the deen of Allah and
when you advise others, or when you call
others to the deen of Allah. It requires
a lot of subr.
When you start practicing the deen of Allah,
for example,
none of your family members, none of your
relatives practice the deen of Allah.
Allah
chose
you, Allah guided you,
and now you start practicing the deen of
Allah
People around you,
within your own family, sometimes even within your
household, your own siblings, and sometimes even your
parents,
they start mocking you.
You have to have
sabr. You have to have patience.
You cannot be
rude to them or aggressive to them, no.
Rather it is a test for you, and
you must have sabr.
When you have iman,
you will be tested.
Allah says in the Quran,
Do people think that
it is sufficient for them to say that
we believed in Allah and they are not
going to be
tested. Allah says verily, we always tested those
who held iman in their hearts.
We always tested them, and we tested those
who were before them.
Because
Allah wants to make differentiation
between those who are true in their state,
those who are truthful in their statement, and
those who are liars.
So if you're a true believer, you will
be definitely be tested.
And when you be when you will be
tested, you have to have patience.
And you advise one another, you help one
another to have patience.
Likewise,
when you practice the deen of Allah,
you have to have patience.
For example, offering,
first pray
5 times a day,
it requires a lot of patience. It is
not something easy.
It is not easy.
It is difficult, but you have to have
patience.
On the Ka'a of Allah, on the obedience
to Allah,
and you continue doing it on on a
regular basis, on a daily basis, and you
never give up,
it requires a lot of saber and patience.
And likewise,
when you call others to the deen of
Allah
again, you will be mocked,
people will not accept your advice,
people will get offended,
when you
say, when you narrate to them a hadith
of the prophet salallahu alaihi wa sallam, when
you advise them that this is the ahi
of the Quran, this is the hadith of
the Prophet People will definitely,
you will come across the people who will
be offended by your advice, by your dawah.
But you have to have patience.
So as long as you have these four
qualities,
then you are out of out of the
category of those who are in laws. Otherwise,
you are amongst those who are in laws
as Allah says in the Quran,
taking oath,
By the time,
verily,
indeed, without any doubt, the whole mankind
is in loss.
And if we were to look at the
seer of our Nabi
and the other Prophets,
and then the companions of Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi
wa sallam,
and the ima,
and the imams, and the scholars of this
deen, we find
and we can see clearly that Allah subhanahu
wa ta'ala
helped them to have all these four qualities.
Every single prophet of Allah,
all the companions of the Prophet
sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, the imams and the
scholars,
they had iman, they were righteous,
they were pious, and they continued performing good
deeds,
and they advise one another with haqq, with
truth, and they advise always advise one another
to have patience in the way of Allah
That is why Imam al Shafi rahimahullah
said,
Verily
people or most of the people,
they are
in heedlessness
from
contemplating
or pondering
on this Surah.
Short Surah, very concise Surah.
But as I said at the beginning, this
is one of those Surahs that comprise all
the aspects of Islam in the deen of
Allah ul jalilikram.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala give us tawfiq
and ability to understand his religion, to understand
his book, and may Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala
enable us to practice
our deen the way he is pleased with,
duljalaliwalikram.
Then Imam An Nawawi rahamullah
quotes the
hadith of Abu Abdul Rahman Zayd ibn Khaled
Al Juhani
He says, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam
Whoever
equips
a warrior,
someone who goes out
to fight for the sake of Allah, Gul
Jallali Ubikram.
Then the one who helps him
and he equips him, he will get the
reward, the same reward.
And whoever takes care of the family of
the warrior,
he will get the reward
exactly the same as the one who has
gone out to fight in the way of
Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
This is the reward of helping one another
in righteous deeds
and in in in piety.
The next hadith is the hadith of Abu
Sayyid al Khudri who
says, that the Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam
said, Anarasulullah
sallallahu
alaihi
wa
sallam,
The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam dispatched
a deployment
towards Banuulihyan
which was
a tribe, a small tribe of the part
of the bigger tribe of Hudayl. And he
said,
He saw salam encouraging his companions, he said,
1 person
of every 2 men should get up and
take part in this deployment,
and the reward will be equally
divided between the 2.
Meaning,
one goes out and one stays behind,
and the one who stays behind, he takes
care of the family of the one who
is going to go out. And the reward
will be equally divided on both of them.
This is,
again, helping one another
in righteous deeds and all and also practicing
the deen of Allah
Next hadith is the hadith of Abdullah ibn
Abbas
who says in Rasulullah
That
The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
encountered and he
came across
a group of riders,
those who were riding their beast,
in a in a place that was known
as
Somewhere in Arabia,
Fakal
when he encountered
that group of people, he said, Maril Khaw.
Who are these people? Who are you? They
said, Al Muslimoon.
We are the Muslims.
So they knew that the Prophet
asked them, because
he wanted to make sure that
they are not the enemies
so that he
could defend himself and the companions, ridwanullahi alwijmain,
they could defend themselves. So, that is why
the prophet asked them question, because he did
not know. Those people were,
strangers to the prophet,
and when he asked them, and they said,
are Muslim moon? We are the Muslims. The
Prophet shalallahu alaihi wa sallam,
accepted. And they asked the Prophet shalallahu alaihi
wa sallam a question. He said, man'an, who
are you?
They said, Rasulullah,
I am the messenger of Allah. It seems
that those people had accepted Islam by the
dawah of probably
one of the companions, they never met the
prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. That is why
they never knew the prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam. That is why they asked, man ant,
who are you? The prophet sallallahu alaihi wa
sallam said, Rasulullah.
And they took the opportunity
to ask the prophet
some questions. And they asked couple of questions
and amongst them was a woman,
and she was holding a young baby.
She lifted
that baby up towards the Prophet shalallahu alaihi
wa sallam, and she asked a question. She
said, Alihada hajj,
oh messenger of Allah,
can this baby perform a hajj?
The Prophet did not say, No, no, no,
no. He's too young.
No.
Look at the answer, the Prophet said, naam,
yes.
He can perform hajj.
How?
Obviously the mother
herself,
she has to, or she had to help
the baby to perform Hajj. To put the
haram on,
and to help the baby
or the young child
to
make the tawaf,
or to go to mina, and Arafat, and
muzdali fa, and do the stoning of the,
of the jamarat,
and then tawaf and sah, doing everything. Obviously
the mother
had to take the baby or the young
child with her.
But look at the next statement, the Prophet
said, yes.
This child can perform Hajj
and you will get the reward.
You will get the reward.
That is why the scholars have said there
are number of lessons, number of lessons that
we learn from this hadith.
One of them is,
that
when the parents
advise or encourage their children
to do any good deed,
the parents get the reward.
If you wake your child up in the
morning to offer a salah,
the father, the mother, they get the reward.
The child performs the salah,
and obviously
the children are children.
They are not going to perform the salah
or any other good deed perfectly,
because they are in the process of learning.
Although,
they do not know how to perform the
righteous deeds exactly according to the sunnah of
the Prophet
but the parents will still get the reward.
This is the beauty of the deen of
Allah
Because
the intention of the parents is to bring
their children on the straight path, and to
keep them on the straight path, and to
give them good tarbia.
So if the parents are encouraging their children
to offer the salah,
to read the Quran,
to make dua, to say, Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah,
Allahu Akbar. To have good akhlaq, the parents
will get the reward.
And this is very clear in this hadith.
That the prophet
did not say to the mother,
not
your child is too young and he should
not be performing hajj because there is no
benefit. No. And he said, yes.
He can go for hajj.
But because you as a mother, you will
be helping the child,
like he ajr, you will get the reward.
You will get the reward.
And as a parents, we can understand
how
significant it is to encourage our children to
practice the deen of Allah, khuljalalikram.
That is why the Prophet
said, one of the three things that will
benefit you, that can benefit you after you
leave this duniya is, waladon
saaleh,
A righteous child,
who will be making dua for you. And
obviously, righteous child is going to be the
child to whom you give the good tarbia.
The one you teach them
to make dua to Allah
You teach them the will
raise your ranks in Jannah. The prophet
will raise your ranks in Jannah. As the
prophet
says, the person
will have his ranks raised in Jannah, and
he will ask Allah
Oh my lord,
I have left this duniya long while ago,
and all of my good deeds are cut
off. I'm not offering any more salah, I'm
not giving in charity anymore, I'm not doing
any hajj, I'm not reading Quran, I'm not
doing any of the good deeds. How come
you have raised my rank? The pro Allah
subhanahu wa ta'ala replies,
This is all because of the dua of
your righteous child.
Because you gave them.
This is the great reward. That is why
the prophet
said, na'amwalaki
ajeru.
Yes.
Women, you can take your child, your young
child, to perform hajj
and you will get the reward. The scholars
have also taken
a ruling from this hadith,
that if
a young child goes for Hajj ul Umrah,
and the parents help them,
and they must try their best to fulfill
all the arkhan and the wajibat
of the umra or the hajj.
They must try their best. Now obviously as
he said, the children are children, they will
not be doing everything perfect,
but the parents will get their parents will
must guide them, and whatever they do and
whatever way they perform the Hajj and Umrah,
the parents will be getting the reward.
And
the scholars who have also said based on
the Hadith,
that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, Lakhi
Ajir, you will have the reward,
which is
indirect indication
that
the obligation
of performing hajj will not be lifted from
the
child. Although, the child has if a child
has performed hajj
before reaching the age of puberty,
then the obligation is not lifted. He will
get the reward. The child will get the
reward. The parents will get the reward. No
doubt.
But when they grow and when they reach
the age of puberty, if they have financial
ability and they are physically
fit and healthy,
they must go and perform hajj
second time,
and that is going to be the way
of fulfilling their obligation
as a pillar of Islam.
So,
the conclusion is that, Allah
has encouraged us to help one another in
performing righteous and good deeds, and we must
try our best
to do so. As long as we continue
helping and advising
each other
to
the deen of Allah
and helping and advising one another to have
the patience,
Allah
will continue blessing us and He will jalalipu
iqram will bless us with great rewards. May
Allah Dhul jalalibikram give us tawfiq and ability.
