Initiate en rajim Bismillahi Rahmani r Rahim al hamdu Lillah wa salatu salam ala rasulillah three brothers and sisters as salaam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh Ramadan Mubarak
first of all it's great to come here to Qatar on sha Allah in this beautiful beautiful month of Ramadan
It's so beautiful for me because although I'm gonna change the subject slightly right because it Ramadan is such an appropriate month for me because I was born in Ramadan
yeah I was born in Ramadan
but I don't sell my celebrate the birthday right? We celebrate the month of Ramadan for different reasons not because I was born in Ramadan I'm 22 years of age as of a couple of days here and there a hamdulillah takbeer
lots of people that are born in Ramadan as well. Do you know that? Would you consider that Ramadan is
a month where more people are likely to become Muslims or less? What do you think? Put your hands up more?
Yeah, who works for funnel here?
Who works for dour? Who does dow full time?
Who loves the Dow
Put your hands up. Put your feet up. Okay hamdulillah beautiful month of Ramadan as we know Allah subhanho wa Taala has sent down the criterion between right and wrong in this month in the Shahada Ramadan.
The Quran was revealed to mankind.
This is a momentous occasion. This is not just some book that some guy off the street publishes and then sends to the people.
This is the book.
There is no book like it.
In fact,
this book is the book of books as Allah subhanho wa Taala is the king of kings. This is the book of all books forever. It is a book that will never leave us until Allah subhanho wa Taala sends the judgment upon us
Yeoman Qian.
It is a book that is unchallenged,
unblemished.
It is recorded in the hearts of millions and millions of believers speak today in this platform in Qatar.
It is a book without doubts.
A guidance for the takim a guidance for those who reflect
this is why Ramadan, Ramadan is so special.
Because it is the month when this book, your book, my book, my Christian brothers and sisters and Hindu and Jewish brothers and sisters in their book.
I was just talking to the driver,
the driver from our calf.
And he was telling me you know, so what is this book you're reading and I said this is your book.
You just don't know about it. Your uncle's had it probably your great grandfather had it in Philippines but you don't know about it, because we didn't tell you about it.
And this is the best month to know about it my friends. This is the bank This is the month when it was published.
This is the month when it started the revelation ye from Allah God Almighty, Allah subhanho wa Taala it came down as a criterion to teach men what they did not know.
To tell them to stop engaging in lewdness
and illicit behavior, trading with rebar doubled a multiply.
This book
is the book that shook the worlds
more than 1400 years ago when it was revealed.
It took out most of the civilized world in the best possible sense of takeouts. We're not talking about takeout as in McDonald's. We're talking about takeout in terms of it having a massive impact in the world in the civilized world as we know it.
within
a period of 100 years,
with no internet, with no satellite technology, with no mobile phones, with no phones,
with no jets, with no cars with no mechanically driven vehicles,
with no one but people with more keen people of righteousness and piety and God fearing nature that came on horseback, on drove camels
to give and these people were diamonds,
they were the companions of Rasulullah, sallAllahu, alayhi wasallam. They had at the helm.
A man,
a real man, we can't say that we're men today.
But they had at their home a man
who for a period of 23 years was engaged in hearing and reciting, and
reviewing or
revising the text of the holy call and with gibreel
la sala.
This is a man who will be for taking this message before taking this wacky before taking this revelation from Almighty God. Allah subhanho wa Taala
he was known as Sadek elemi Sadek, the group, the best amongst us,
by the enemies by the people who didn't necessarily were not religious.
But people who were worshipping 360 idols
by people who were treating women like they were animals,
by people who were burying their unwanted female children alive.
This man was known as
the best amongst them.
This man could not read or writes.
But he was still known as the best amongst them, he could not extemporary li produce poetry from the top of his head, but he was known the best amongst them.
He was not a scientist.
He was not a geographer, he wasn't a historian. He wasn't any Islam. But he was known the best amongst them. And it was in this month, and the holy month of Ramadan, that he was named Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
It is this month Shang Ramadan.
An amazing month.
I remember
when I came across this month for the first time
I came across this month for the first time I stumbled into it. A lie he no Muslim ever told me about this month. In fact, there used to be a song
that I used to hear in the radio before and I thought is it anything to do with that? The song was Ramadan, Ding Dong, Ramadan, ding dong.
It had the same type of word.
This was the and then I when I heard, what is this Ramadan?
Is it something to do with a song that I heard back there?
So little information that we have about the Muslim traditions?
And if you look further, it being the month of Revelation, a bin Rajab. He mentioned that the NGO was revealed in this month to Isa la Center,
the Injeel
the Torah, the Zubov and all the righteous books of Allah were revealed in this month according to him. So this is more than just a month of revelation for most lens mu Islams. It is a revelation for mankind.
It is the month of revelation for everyone.
You see, so we need to look and reflect about this month and ask us
selves?
Why are we not telling the world more about Islam?
Why are we not reaching out to the wider community?
Why do we labor when it comes to meeting our brother and sister in humanity and explaining to them that this revelation all of it was received in Ramadan, you should be fasting with us.
You should be reading the books. Nowadays, if you go to the UK,
you will find handfuls of people who read the Injeel
I know it's not the original Injeel we're talking about, but handfuls of people, most of the churches are closing my myself I'm looking to purchase a church in my city in Leicester because it's closing down. Why? Because people have Lee leaving the floor. They're leaving their faiths. They're leaving a loss of Hannah woods, Ella's religions
his way,
and they are worshiping their desires.
If you look closely, about this month, it's also the month of victory.
It's the month of increase the month of victory, the month of mercy,
the month of action,
the month of charity.
If you look at the victories that the Muslims have got in Ramadan,
you will never never
consider it to be anything but the best month
or one of the best months of course.
And we understand that for example.
If you look at the conquest of Mecca, this was achieved in
Ramadan, if you look at Subhana Allah, I was going through the list earlier on and you know, this is only just a small number of, you know, things that I can mention but who took the Battle of Han took it took place in Shahada Ramadan,
you see the training campaign that took place around the book.
That campaign of course it didn't go to warfare, but it took place in Shahar Ramadan, the month of the Quran, the month of blessing the month of victory the month of mercy
Han Allah. If you look at the conquest of Rhodes, Rhodes was taken in the month of Ramadan. If you look at Andalusia, Tarik ebin z yards, he went to the shores of Andalusia in the month of Ramadan.
If you look at
Jerusalem,
many of the battles and conquests that took place when the Muslims went there, it took place in the month of Ramadan.
So is the map it's a battle, if you consider that life is a battle.
And life is a battle right? I have no doubt about it.
If you are part of the dour,
some of you I know you put your hand up when you said you know you're working in the dour. You love the dour, you know that life is like a battle but in the month of Ramadan,
the hearts inclining towards goodness, the Muslim Why?
In the Hadith Rasool Allah as I mentioned
that shaytan is locked up.
shaytaan
seeker is in the prison.
He's locked up and some of the cheer team with him.
You know, some of them human form. You know,
actually, I was reading the expats forum
for Qatar.
You see, that means the people that came from my country and Australia and USA and so on and so for the people you're supposed to be inviting to Islam.
And let me read some of it to you. Because it's interesting.
This one woman says it's a
from musk to love dust. She calls the article from musk
To love dust, Ramadan in Qatar, Qatar expats experience.
In the in this month of Ramadan, she says Ramadan is the holy month observed by Muslims. She doesn't even know what a Muslim is because no one's ever explained to her What a Muslim is, by the way, she doesn't know what it even means, which involves a number of lifestyle changes. Okay, so even for them, there's major lifestyle changes in Ramadan. The aim is to bring oneself closer to God through behavior.
Okay, so she understands Ramadan, better than a lot of not a lot of Muslims do. Right? She already understands you're going to get closer to Allah. And that's exactly what Allah subhanho wa Taala mentions in the Quran
about fasting particularly
that you will become God conscious.
So this she says, There are one 250 countries where Islam is the religion of the majority here the Muslim faith is everywhere. People live and breathe it. So when Ramadan arrives, the habits of the whole country are affected and hamdulillah. People who observe Ramadan go without life's pleasures, such as food. That's not a pleasure. That's a necessity, but drink. That's a necessity sexual relations, that's a necessity as well. And from sunrise to sunset for the whole month they do without these things. Nothing passes their lips.
You say? Nothing positive, the lips, the really devout. They don't even brush their teeth.
You see?
Excuse me, but also wha sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said the miswak can be used with see what can be used when you're fasting. Right? So again, if we she understood Islam, she would have not misconstrued Islam in this article. And this would have led to a maybe 50. How many people have read this article?
How many? You see? Where are the Muslims? And where's the Muslim response to all of this? This is the question.
To give you an idea of the commitment, she goes on to say two years ago, this was she said the sun will rise at 4:30am. Okay, two years ago, was that the case of Qatar 430. And then it will set about six, or what she'd be saying about it now at three o'clock, right?
Anyway, that go without food or anything for 14 hours in the searing heat without a drop of water for the entire month.
If you read some of these,
you know, there are many, there are many, some of them even more laden with factual inaccuracies. But if you read these type of blogs, and I advise you to do it, because all of us should know what people really on the other side of the equation, the non Muslims, the kuffaar, the Christians, the Jews, the atheists, the agnostics, the Manchester United football fans, whoever they are,
whichever religion they follow, because football is a religion as well now
that we must know how they think
one of the projects that I'm starting here in Qatar, incidentally,
is to identify exactly how they think.
Actually what it is,
is a research paper,
which will define how they think by asking them how they think. So you go to them, you say, what do you think about Islam? Right, then you write it down, you tabulate it. Right, then you do it to 1000 other people and you have a 20 minute interview. This is what we did in the UK. And we intend to do it here in Qatar, and it mostly be the Westerners that we're talking about, mostly, although it won't be exclusively them. And by the end of it, we will know how to approach them in a better way.
This is why it is very important. It's imperative that you read these blogs, I urge you not as an act of worship, although that hour of course is a major act of worship.
But I asked you to do it in your spare time after Ramadan. Okay. Now for the time of course, we should be revising and reading the Quran. So this is just one thing. So the month of victory.
It is the month of victory and this is why we should call the people to Islam in this month of Ramadan
We should leave no stone unturned. Now, you know you've got from this as sort of inkling of how we can do it. Because later on in the article, she goes on to say, however,
you know, we can't drink in public, we can't eat in public, we can't have alcohol and it's terribly difficult for us and however, and there's always every cloud has a silver lining. You see, she says, In the evening
there are feasts laid out for people.
If star celebration begins, so this is the key. Anyone who knows and not yet Muslim, put your hands up, you know, and and not yet Muslim. Not yet Muslim. Yeah. You don't know any non Muslims. Yeah.
Put your hands up, Chef. I mean, come on. Do you know non Muslim? Does anyone not know no Muslim?
Han Allah man.
When you breakfast tomorrow night, why don't you invite them.
If you're not gonna invite them, the pals or invite them, you know, they're not going to tell them the truth.
If we're going to correct the mistakes that we've been making, throughout the Western world by not calling people to Islam,
when we live amongst those people, and when they live amongst us, and we are the majority, and they the minority, and we can't do it, there's something seriously wrong with us.
In this beautiful month of Ramadan month of victory, if you go to them, Allah subhanho wa Taala is going to open the heart quickly, sha Allah so that next time you think of your neighbors, who are your friends, or your work colleagues, all of those who are working in, you know, multinational corporations or big finance groups, or you're working in a bank, you're working in a I don't know the local football team or the tennis team or whatever you're wherever you are, and you're there. Grab hold of the people and say, I've got a special invite for you.
What is the invites, the invite is not just for the foods, the invite is to show them truly what Islam is all about. The invite is to truly show them that the Quran is the word of God in the gut that God's word hasn't gone gone to them because we felt
the invite is to call them away from jahannam.
To Jana, Jana Tilford, those the invite is to make sure that we strengthen ourselves and our own ummah.
The invite is to make sure that when Allah subhanho wa Taala he judges between right and wrong on the day of judgment that he sees you and he says, that person you called that person you called that person you called and that one because they're all going to be standing around us.
No doubts.
We will be naked and uncircumcised brothers, we will be standing there and who have fear for Allah subhanho wa Taala that we will not even see those people on that day. But Allah subhanho wa Taala will surely see them and he will be speaking to them.
It's important that we understand that this is the month of victory.
It's the month of rewards. And the reward can come from us giving dour from giving sadaqa sadaqa. Many of us we have so many sins in this month. And we're so frightens, some of us don't. Some of us have stopped making Toba because we you know we don't think the repentance is going to be accepted by Allah xojo xojo Allah subhanho wa Taala some of us we're so frightened.
But Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
he mentioned that water
puts out fire if water it puts the fire out sadaqa Okay, can extinguish the the sins? Yes. Like the water
puts out the fire.
sadaqa extinguishes the since, like water extinguishes the fire.
In this month of Ramadan, we know that a waffle or a voluntary acts according to another hadith of voluntary acts
is equivalent in Ramadan to the obligatory act outside Ramadan. So this month, if you're doing to Raka it's like you're doing Isha is like you're doing a voluntary act. Sorry, you're doing a compulsory or obligate obligatory acts Subhana Allah so the rewards are between normal rewards for fasting
and this is in heaven.
could see.
The Allah subhanho wa Taala has mentioned that all of the all of the deeds of the sons of Adam are awarded between 10 and 700 times except for fasting.
Fasting is rewarded by me.
And fasting my brothers and sisters, one of the things that made me in fact is the main reason why I believe Allah subhanaw taala was able to guide me here and be a Muslim today 22 years later on, speak to you
in the month of Ramadan,
No, I did not know it was Ramadan.
I was with a friend.
And she said to me, tomorrow, you cannot come to my house. So I said, What is the meaning of this?
Do you throw your friends out? If somebody loves you, do you throw them out into the street?
She said to me,
don't question me about my faith.
I said it is about your faith is getting worse. I said your faith tells you to throw people out in the street, she became angry.
This is on the eve of Ramadan.
the eve of Ramadan, as she's just heard, she's just heard fudgiest sorry, Margaret, Salah has just arrived and she's just given me this information because she's got a phone call or an email or a text from someone saying it's Ramadan. It's Ramadan, come back to Allah shaytaan is locked up. The gates of heaven are open. The gates of Jannah are close. The good deeds are easy, and they will be accepted by Allah. She's getting this information.
She's looking at me and she's saying you need to go. I'm saying Don't tell me to go whatsover religion is this
morning. She told me to leave. in the morning. I went to the Islamic Society
and knocked on the door.
And a man wearing Saudi light clothing, Kwatra hope. He answered the door. He said to me.
How can I help you?
You know, first day of Ramadan, you know what is like? You know, you're not used to waking up without that coffee and so on, so forth. So it must have been quite tough for him.
I said, Listen, I've got a problem with this girl. I need to know how to deal with her.
She told me to leave. He said he's got something to do with a faith. He said,
I advise you
to leave the girl.
I said sorry.
I said Did I hear rightly. I said, I've got a problem with this girl and you're telling me to leave her?
Why?
He said it's very difficult is complicated, but she's no good for you and you're no good for her.
I said explain to me please. Why is your religion asking me to be chased away from a person I love and vice versa, I hope she said to me, he said to me.
He came to the back and he gave me some books, handed them over to me and said read these and you'll understand.
Two weeks later, you see I was still reading the books. And I'd read I started to read other books and I was visiting him and reading more and more books.
And then I started to realize it was the month of Revelation.
It was the month of the Quran.
It was the month where mankind was supposed to get guidance. And I started to understand why the girl threw me out because Allah subhanho wa Taala didn't want me in that. Allah subhanho wa Taala want me to go to the ISOC so I could meet this Brother Mohammed salah and Mohammed Salah from Iraq.
And guess what?
He's here in Qatar today.
And I met him recently. Just recently and I reminded him Do you know who I am?
He said, Now I know your use of chambers. Yeah. Because I seen you on TV.
I said no, no, no, no, I'm not talking about that. I'm just use the significance of the moment brother. He said well
remind me. I said Do you remember the ISOC and I knocked on the door and they came and said
had an epiphany, a moment of Revelation, not just the Quran, His revelation.
And he said, Oh, Allahu Akbar.
So he remembered at that moment, he was the one that helped me towards Islam. And it's an amazing thing. Ramadan. at GE, he said, he told me on in that same couple of days, two or three people came to him asking for the same thing. Ramadan is the month when the hearts are open,
you will find a very large percentage, although we haven't done the research, and we need to do this research and development r&d, we need to do it as Muslims. Right, not just multinational corporations and mercedes, mercedes benz, and BMW and Jaguar, so on and so forth. And Qatar Airways, we Muslims as an unmet need to do real research and development or research and do our
research and data.
So in this
beautiful month,
1000s upon 1000s and 1000s of people are becoming Muslims. So it's also the month of blessings and the month of victory at the same time.
The Western world is an open panacea for us.
Although there are lots of brothers and sisters being thrown in jail, may Allah subhanho wa Taala allow them to be released in this month of Ramadan. That's also something that happens a lot. A lot of the kings and the leaders and you know, even David, what's his name? I call him that would come wrong.
You know, who dealt with that would come around is
David Cameron. Okay, fine. David Cameron, even David Cameron writes, he wrote a special message. It's like, it's really crazy. You know, even Obama wrote a special message saying, What a wonderful thing this Ramadan is. And the Muslims give so much. And they so blessed in this month. And then somebody else a non Muslim, one of our associates, he wrote, yeah, send them a nice message, and then decide where you're gonna throw the next bomb.
And who you going to imprison Next, you know, let them have that discussion. We don't need to do that.
We give the dour.
So, we have Subhanallah an amazing opportunity in this Rama,
Rama Ramadan, the month of this beautiful, beautiful blessing. And I'm telling you that the last thing that happened to me before I took Shahada and Allah subhanho wa Taala allowed me to become Muslim.
One day I was reading about this fasting, and the benefits of fasting scientific benefits, spiritual benefits, you know, you lose weight as well. And I was very thin anyways, I didn't need to do that. Still, I'm really considering I've got four children, you know.
And,
and
so panela
I really just got fixed up with the whole concept.
And I started to think that let me take the step towards it. Nobody had told me by the way to go and fast. But it was a natural progression.
So in the morning, I woke up really early.
And I decided I'm just going to drink some glass of water. I had my own sort. I wasn't a Muslim, by the way, but I mean, I had my own sohar.
And I started to fast.
So hon Allah, and this is the only act of ibadah which is purely for the sake of Allah. Right? But I didn't know that. So I started too fast. And I went out of my door, and I felt different. I did not know what it was. I felt just like I was riding on a clouds.
I wasn't worried about my clothing.
I wasn't worried about my external appearance.
I didn't really care about anything, and I didn't even care if I was late to work that day. didn't bother me.
floated into work. The guys offered me coffee and tears and No way man hamdulillah I don't need that. I didn't even tell them. I do remember I didn't tell them. I was fasting
and went through the whole day.
started to see the real people behind the people I've been mixing with all this time. So hon Allah, it was like somebody had taken off the blindfold, and removed the shackles from my feet and my hands and led me out into the real world. And this was my first day on earth.
My first day on earth
was when I was fasting, purely seeking the face of Allah and not telling anyone about it.
Because that really was the condition of me then, nowadays, if you say Santa Monica is Ramadan, you We know you're fasting. Say, see,
but nobody knew I was most I was trying to be Muslim.
So my first that day was perhaps the purest fast I've ever done. Ross possibly ever will do.
And it was the day Allah subhanho wa Taala he allowed me He gave me hidayah
the day when I started to fast the end of the day, I was with the Muslims, I did not want to leave them from that moment.
And believe me, I did not leave them after that moment. Because the morning after I was in the in the evening, I was washing myself vigorously because I was reading about Gastelum and will do saying all these stuffs I was washing myself the whole night. Can you imagine? The tap was running the whole night man wasn't good for the environment was good for my soul. So I've watching or watching like Matt.
And
just something came to me I was reading the sutra, some sutras kohala who had just there is only one God and there's no one comparable, no you there's no comparison to this. Allah subhanho wa Taala is the one that you worship. Allah Allahu Allahu Samad. There's none comparable to him. He has no children. He has no father. There's no beginning and no end. He's the first and the last.
There's only one gods. This is only one. This is a loss of Hanwha.
I was reading these verses all night and I was I was crying.
for 11 years. For 11 years, I'd remained in a dark cloud from 15 to 26. From 15 to 26 hours in this void in the month of Ramadan.
reading the Quran, talking to Muslims fasting in this month, not as a Muslim. I received my hedaya I received revelation myself in my heart.
There are 1000s and 1000s of people that need to do the same thing.
And I urge you do not delay
calling people to Islam.
Do not delay it. Before it might become a problem for you when you meet a lot. How many non Muslims have you met in the last 24 hours? But John's obvious 10 2030?
Some of you if you're taxi drivers, I don't know if you have taxi drivers or limo drivers? How many how many people are limo drivers? Yeah. No.
No one drives anyone around here?
Who's that guy outside?
Okay, but you see the point that just count the number of opportunities that you've got to exponentially grow exponentially grow your heart center with a lot.
Because if one person Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he mentions if one person is guided to Islam by your hands and then no mention in Ramadan.
How many Hashanah is that for you? And if that person goes on to recite the whole course on in the month of Ramadan for the next 80 years, the next 50 years and his children reciting the quarter and for the next 100 years, and their children and their children and their children.
When you meet Allah when you go to the grave when you meet the angels of death, the angels have strong reprimands. Before you are you're asked the questions.
Who is your lats?
Who is your Lord Who is the man that was sent amongst you? What was this book that he was was supposed to be reading
you know, and you
You you're struggling to answer, but then you remember then that, you know, suddenly the deeds that you had from your hands and your tongue. They start to intercede for you.
Imagine that and you're in your grave and then your grave becomes a large expanse. It becomes like a paradise.
Isn't it worth it just for going and saying, Do you know that Allah subhanho wa Taala is your Lord? Is it not worth it?
Isn't it something that you think is worth it and beneficial in this world and the hereafter and what is the hereafter?
Han Allah Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam he mentioned
that Jana
you see we tried to describe Jana Don't we? Also Lhasa mentioned that it's something that no human is ever seen.
No human ear is ever heard of.
And no human mind can ever contemplates.
It is something which is forever and it's something which you can get anything you want forever.
This month of Ramadan. Our brothers and sisters is your opportunity to gain Jana.
It is your the way it is your road to Jana. It is your key to Jana is your Baba Jana, the door of Jana is open. You can get it in this month more than any other month. The victories I've told you about the battles I've told you about people embracing Islam.
I've told you how you know, remember how beautiful we are with each other.
And this beautiful month when we smile at each other. One of the things that I remember when I was going into the masjid
right. A lot of the people in the masjid To be honest, they weren't the most friendly looking people in London, I'd be honest with you.
But because it was Ramadan
shaytan is locked up. Uncle is smiling. Salaam Alaikum, Bhai kiali
Chico
bas tictac
Yes, very good uncle, thank you very much. I'm not a Muslim, but he's giving me salaams he's smiling.
You see, I mean the most
learning.
So because Ramadan is here, every one is smiling.
Everyone is paying attention to each other.
You're ready to do acts of obligation and voluntary worship.
You're ready to do voluntary work outside we'll do some voluntary work for for now. Sign up for finance today and do some dour. You know that's what I say.
So hon Allah. There are so many benefits in this beautiful month.
So hon Allah
and you don't you wouldn't know about you know, and unless you have been without this month, you don't know what the benefits of this month are.
So
we know.
We know very well. I've mentioned the things about the battles I've mentioned the things about
doing good deeds, or Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa seldom
referring to the month of Ramadan.
He mentioned never has there been a better month for the believers and never has a worse month come to pass for the hypocrites. He said that this month for the believers is the best opportunity to reward yourself to renew your relationship with Allah subhanho wa Taala when we're outside the month of Ramadan, my brothers and sisters, we spend less. We don't talk about the Koran. We don't attend the salon in the JAMA like we should do as brothers, sisters, we don't wake spouses up for Salah we don't wake our children up for Salah we forget to take them to the court and classes. We are negligent because shaytan is back.
And the blessings of Ramadan are gone and we think that for those 30 days will be sufficient for us to worship Allah for us to go to Jenna What about the other 11
months
are we going to deceive ourselves?
So hon Allah.
I mentioned also that I will talk briefly about some charitable
deeds that you should do in this month.
Well, charity in Islam, as we understand is not just giving money, or giving food to the poor, or this, although this is an incredible thing. For example, we know that a person who is fasting and you feed that person Subhana Allah, it's like you have done the fast or they've done the fast for you. And there's really no diminishment in the reward from him, you get the same rewards. So fast feeding people in the month of Ramadan is a beautiful, beautiful deed. Indeed, Savonarola being courteous to each other is also an act of sadaqa Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said, even a smile is sadaqa moving out something out of the harm's way is sadaqa. When we're in the streets,
when we're in our jobs, in our offices, in our wherever our workplaces, our schools, or colleges, whatever it is,
we should be much more courteous and prepared to do these small acts of kindness, to show that Islam has guided you and made you a better person, particularly in this month of Ramadan.
And essentially, that we should have the izar and the you know, we should have the concern for a non Muslim brothers and sisters, that they simply don't know the message of Islam. They don't know the beauty of this month, they don't know the strength of the Koran, and they don't know that great character Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
So, I would advise and urge you, you must also give a lot of charity during this month, the charity of Ramadan or giving of Ramadan is the best type of charity according to Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
he mentioned when somebody asked him what is the best form of charity he said, Ramadan, giving in the month of Ramadan is the best form of charity.
And
in this month, the beginning of which is mercy.
The middle bits, which is forgiveness, and the last parts of it is being released from the hellfire. So we should try to
be consistent from the first 10 days the middle 10 days and the last 10 days and try to increase our active ibadah try to read the Koran and a language that you understand please brothers and sisters you know this is one thing that because I don't understand Arabic fully right, I have to read it with some Tafseer my advice to you and I might just be the only person in the room right
maybe I'm the only one who doesn't understand Arabic fully May Allah forgive me for not learning. It's just this dour obligation that gets in the way sometimes it's not my excuse. I have no excuses actually. But
if you don't understand the Quran you're reading it through my advice to you is to get a Tafseer get something Tafseer a big fear and read alongside it so read the surah It doesn't matter if you haven't attended you know read the whole code and it's not about that's not a race I see brothers you know they racing fruit right what is the point of that? Just doing it parent okay this hustler reading every harddrive every word every letter there is of course a benefit in it but reading it with understanding and then being able to implement a Surely this is a better way so brothers and sisters when you're reading the Quran tomorrow or tonight or later on or in Qian
think about it just go you know there's a very good actually he attended here one talk nouman Ali Khan. He has been a is not an avid advert for him, mylar to do this. bayonet dots, TV, okay. And he goes through free Tafseer of large portions of our code and Sharla in an understandable language. Yeah, in English for me. And some of you you speak which language English? anyone speak English? Yeah, a few people hear this the second language in the world and then think
Sharla anyway, so please, my brothers and sisters just this was a small reminder
Too much as much to myself to remind myself of how important this month of Ramadan is. And what a blessing it is to be a Muslim. And what an incredible thing you know it is that we have the Koran and we have the Sunnah of Rasulullah sallallahu Sallam without which really I will be dead you know i mean i will be dead and countless of other reverts that no doubt have addressed you know, phenomenal message it is it phenomenal I didn't I was not enough.
This mustard anyway, who have gained this religion, we have lost nothing.
We have gained an amazing amount and May Allah subhanho wa Taala allow you to, you know to continue to benefit from the Quran. And sunnah of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi Salaam May Allah subhanho wa Taala accept all your fasts, Allah subhanho wa Taala accept all your acts of ibadah during this beautiful month of Ramadan, may Allah subhanho wa Taala enable you to pass the message the beautiful message of Islam to those people who do not yet know I mean, may Allah subhanho wa Taala you know, guide them to Islam by your hands and by your tongue and by your actions. I mean, may Allah subhanho wa Taala allow us to be placed in djenne genital fiddles in the seventh paradise, amin May Allah
subhanho wa Taala be you allow us to be united on that day of the resurrection, you know, with the marks of frustration upon us, and may we be saved from the Hellfire amin May Allah subhanho wa Taala allow us through this beautiful fast and this beautiful month of Ramadan with this beautiful kita kita Bala to really understand the true purpose of life which is to worship him.
