We worry about the wrong things. These are the things that should worry us. These are the things that should keep us up at night. When you wake up in the middle of night. This is what you should think about the grave. And if you think about the grave, trust me, you will get your behind
and stand in front of a lot as well.
And I also asked you all to do something if you ever have the chance, except for the Sisters of course. If you ever have a chance to attend with a company
just tell them to give you two minutes
Get down in that grave. I've tried actually tried it in the meeting.
I was falling there, I jumped in and didn't have to
lay down in the grave, and look up and just lay there for a minute and realize that this will be your reality one day, and then they'll be putting the dirt. It'll change how you think. It'll change your entire perspective on what's important in life. When you realize this is where I'm going to end up for sure. One thing
they almost started throwing the dirt on me so I
got out of the grief. They were
also not properly so that was Salam. He at first did not know that this ummah we tried in the grave. He wasn't aware of that information. He didn't know we will be trying to grieve.

And there was a Jewish woman with me and she said, Do you not think that you'll be tested in the green? The Prophet alayhi salatu salam said, You beat us in the grave, meaning the Jews, you will be tested in the grave, not us.
The Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
After a few nights, I just broke the law. And I said he came back to her and said, Do you know that it's been revealed to me that he will also be tested in the grave.
So he didn't know at first and it was information that was later on revealed to him.
I said when the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam after that day, and they did not go by, without me hearing him seek refuge from the grief, the trail of the grief after that information was given to him not a day went by in his life, he would always seek refuge from along or below him in other state as much as you can save as much as you can.
Also, as a small side note, this is more information than anything else. The grave does not always necessarily mean that hole in the ground
doesn't mean necessarily the whole amount. Because what about someone who dies and is cremated? Are they going to try the grave? Are there any questions? Are they gonna be tested? Are they gonna be squeezed? Absolutely, all of that will happen for them. Someone who dies at sea, someone who dies in their body is never found, they will go through all of these same experiences. Because the grave is the bottles on the table. That's the grave, the grave is also the motorcycle barrier between you in this life.
So no matter how you did, the grave will be similar to the trial of at the jail, and the Prophet les Serato. Slim, as all of you should know, say that there is no greater trial from the time of day seven to the time of the day, it just migrated. And
that's why you should also seek refuge with the travel of adventure every day, every day. Also, the prophet alayhi salatu wa sallam
said he used to hear that he would hear the voices of the people in the grave here and the torment the year everything was going on. I don't even know if any human being can begin to comprehend. Hearing that all the time. When you pass by grade, you can hear what's going on, you can see what's going on. You can understand what's happening in these grades.
And we know the Prophet alayhi salatu salam had this knowledge because he wants to pass by two rails. And he said the people in these grades are being tormented. But they're not being tormented for anything major. That's why I'm telling you need to be careful with this green thing. He said they're not being tormented for anything major. The first one is being tormented. Because he did not protect themselves from being sold with urine. He didn't keep his clothes clean. So he's being tormented and ready for that. And the other one is being tormented is great for anybody. No, backbiting, slander,
backbiting, slander, be careful what you say about people when they're not around. So he took a branch, a green branch of a tree, broken half and stuck it in the ground and said, I make that a lot of torment, at least as long as these things stay green.
So we know people are tortured in their grave. And we know the Prophet alayhi salatu salam heard these things. And he said that I would allow all of you to hear it. He told his companions, I would allow you to hear what's going on in these grades. But if I did that, I'm worried you would never marry anybody ever again. If we died, we would just toss each other on the side of the road. We would never put somebody in the ground, knowing what's waiting for them. So he said, I'm not
gonna let you hear those things he said, but every living being other than us in the gym hearings, they hear it they hear these things.
Now
will Muslims be punished in their graves?
We know all the disbelievers are going to be punished the believers about their punishment in the grave, we know that the believers will also some of them be punished in the grave. Some people who are destined for jinn may be punished in their grave. And it may be that Allah gives them that punishment to grant them entry into their sins have amassed to a point where they need to be cleaned, they need to be cleaned, and they weren't cleaned properly in this life. So a lot of torments them in the grave, in order to raise them within the army, the adjustments, and maybe people like that.

Reasons for punishment, the grave, I'm going to give you just a few, a few that we because there's so many any sin will cause and punishment agree but there are a few things that you need to understand that we need to deal with causes punishment, the grave. There are gentlemen specific reasons for punishment in the grave. And the general category we know we have ignorance of a lot, disbelief, sugar, all of these things are the general categories, but there are specific things that will cause you to be punished in the grave. One of them we know for sure is urine. urine, not cleaning yourself not doing these things or properly not making proper cleaning after use the
bathroom can cause you to be punished in the grave. It's a serious issue. Because as we know, the prophet alayhi salatu salam said the horror ugliness is half man, half of our entire Eman. Muslims are not allowed to be dirty. We're not supposed to be dirty at any time at any place. Because one thing I can tell you about the Prophet Mohammed somewhere I sent him
he was poor, right?
He was so poor that he got embarrassed about going to the patch maker to put more patches on his toe up he would mend his own clothes. But one thing I can tell you about the process almost suddenly, you will not find for me one authentic narration that said he was dirty ever he ever was dirty. Or that he ever went out without his hair didn't combs or that he ever went out with his, with his oil with his beard being oil, or his teeth made gleaming white from the mist swag, or a smile on his face. never known for that he was known for his beautiful mannerism, especially when it came to cleanliness and how he carried himself. That's something we need to learn from Sharma. And I'm
telling you that because I've been in way too many bathrooms and two universities, I see how we are. We have to fix these things and
also, backbiting, slandering, talking about other people can be a cause for your torment and the grave, as we know from earlier. So be careful what you say about somebody behind their back. If you want a good barometer, whether you're backbiting or not, ask yourself what I say this about this person in their face.
What I say the same thing, if they were sitting in the room listening, if you wouldn't, don't say it, just keep it.
Keep it to yourself.
And if you have something negative to say about someone, say it to them, address them with something, try to make them a better person. Because by slandering all you're seeking to do is put them down. So all you're trying to do you're trying to make yourself feel better by putting them down and it'll never work, you'll never feel better about yourself.
Also, which this is something that we don't have to worry about is
taking from the war booty taking things that don't belong t in the profit later on to someone said there was a man who died in the companions were praising an

Also, someone who's in debt will be detained in their grave, there'll be a cause for punishment in their grave that meaning if you owe someone money, pay it back, pay it back, pay it back. And if you can't pay it back, then seek some mercy from the debtor. This is the solution. This time you go to the debtor say Look, I don't have it. I can't give it to you and that debtor should if they are good Muslim,

The Prophet alayhi salatu salam said, Give it to her for her right? Given just give it to her, right. So if you have a debt that people try to take it back, try to pay it back. Insha, Allah to IRA
now some of the things that can prevent us from having Toma and the grave
things that can protect us are the general things which we know like saw
all the good actions and the good deeds that can do it.
But there was also the Messenger of Allah Azza wa sallam told us that righteous deeds will protect the person in the grave because even taymiyah Rahim Allah to Allah He said, according to the famous Hadith of

Oh Allah increase those who give to you. And the other one says Allah destroy that those who withhold from you. So we know that they increase in this great we know the Prophet alayhi salatu salam said one of the ozone taking this life is my na casa mallamma Salah, you can't decrease wealth by giving a charity, you can only increase it, it's a commodity that continues to increase. Our soda will stand in our graves and protect us on the Day of Judgment, or sadhaka will be the shade that we stand under. If you're not blessed to stand in the shade of the throne of Allah. The only other shade that will exist within the shade is Allah. Some people will have the shade of of like, I don't
know, pity, it's all you're gonna have that little bit of shade, everything else is gonna be scorched. Some people will have the shade inside of the size of a frizzy, some people will have shade so big, that probably 110 standard, and it will be cool underneath. So your setup can take you a very long way. Remember that gentleman?
And then when the angels come these four things, they're standing around him, tell them you cannot approach me.
You can approach me you can't come from this side.
Also,
I used to be the one who said a woman came to her and said, may Allah protect you from the tone of the grave. So she asked the Messenger of Allah about the tone of the grieving he said yes, seek refuge from the tone of the grave. He said after that and never seen the messenger below make any salaah without asking for the torment of the grave.
Also, he said to his companions, many times in many occasions seek refuge from the grave and they would right away say now the bitter human have their little cover.
