			hamdulillah we praise Allah subhanho wa Taala for only He is worthy of praise. We ask Allah azza wa
jal for his guidance We ask Allah azza wa jal for his Sophia can his blessings for indeed whomever
Allah guides, none can misguide. And whomever Allah chooses to misguide, none can guide him back to
the straight path, bear witness and testify that there is no deity worthy of worship other than
Allah subhana wa tada and bear witness and testify that Mohammed sallallahu alayhi wa sallam is his
final prophet and his most perfect worshipper as to what follows Allah subhana wa tada says in the
concluding verses of surah tell Heschel? Yeah you holla Deena Amano? Oh, you who believe it taco law

single intelligent person prepares for the future. Do you not have investments? Do you not have 401
K's? Do you not have a retirement plan? Do you not have a goal and a vision, about your life, about
		

			your economic issues about your family, you all have goals and you think about them. But Allah azza
wa jal is telling us as you're thinking about all of these other goals, there is a tomorrow that is
more important than the tomorrow of this world. And that is the tomorrow of the hereafter. Allah
calls the hereafter tomorrow to indicate two things. Number one, how quickly this world will go away
and the next world will come. How quickly when we have gone away, it will appear as if this whole
world was nothing for us. And number two, because literally it is going to be tomorrow for some of
us, ie none of us knows when it is our last day. None of us is guaranteed. And especially in these
		

			last 10 months of the pandemic Wallah. How can we be blind about the reality of death when we are
losing our family and friends and colleagues like flies when every single Juma we have to stand up
and announce the debts of other people? How can we not contemplate that preparing for tomorrow we'll
turn off some academic record. Today the announcement is about a colleague a friend and accomplish
today the announcement is about the father of so and so the brother of so and so. And tomorrow the
announcement will be about me and you. Tomorrow the announcement will about me and you This is the

			sure you are prepared for that day. So Allah calls the hereafter tomorrow because number one, this
world is so quick and short. And number two because literally it is a tomorrow for some amongst us

something that I'm telling you that you do not understand. There will be some This is the last maybe
even tomorrow on this earth. There will be some it is the last year the last year the last Gregorian
year. So literally prepare for tomorrow. And then Allah azza wa jal
		

			repeats the first part what Allah to indicate there is no preparation better than the taqwa of
Allah. The ultimate preparation for tomorrow is the taqwa of Allah. As Allah says in Surah Al
Baqarah. What is overdue for in hybridizer, the taqwa prepare for the journey, the Arabic word that
does not have an English equivalent, we say packing for the journey, we say you get ready for the
journey this word Zod means so Allah says you have a journey. What does that will do? Prepare for
that journey. Pack your bags, make sure your affairs are in order. But the journey is the journey of
life. So Allah says, know that the best preparation is the preparation of taqwa. And then Allah azza
		

			wa jal follows up with the second verse. Don't be like those who forgot about a lot. Don't be like

does it mean to forget about Allah? Does it mean that unit you deny the existence of a lot the

meaning of being here, your nobility of purpose, your cause for creation ceases to exist. Of what
use is life, Of what use is life, if we do not have a connection with a law, of what value is our
human life. If we do not imbue it with meaning and dignity that we get from our worship of Allah
subhana wa Tada. We are no better than animals if we neglect a lot. In fact, animals are better than

you have nothing. When you don't have a law, there is no purpose in your life. There's no higher
order. There's no reason for you to be here. So Allah is reminding us that don't be like those
people. Worship Me. Believe in me, pray to me, and you will discover the meaning in your own life.
Your lives will have meaning your lives will have nobility. And this verse is so powerful because it
		

			links our meaning and value to the worship of Allah subhanho wa Taala therefore dear Muslims, dear
Muslims, establish a connection with a law and you will establish a connection with your own
existence. Worship Allah subhana wa tada and your life will take on meaning bow your head down to
Allah and your existence will become Noble. This is what this verse is telling us May Allah subhana

those lessons, and we fuel our own desires and hopes and imagination. There's nothing wrong with
that. And the wise person learns from history. And the wise person assesses himself before
assessment is done on the Day of Judgment. And so lets us on this day any day, whatever the day
might be, let us plan a wise plan for the future. Let us make an intention to Allah subhana wa Taala
		

			that the next week and the next month and the next year and the future of our lives, however long we
have are going to be better than the past. Let us make a commitment to Allah subhana wa to Allah to
renew our Eman to renew our religiosity. Let us strive for goals that are beneficial in this world
and beneficial in the next world. We hope and we pray that in sha Allah to Allah this pandemic is
going to be lifted from us soon. But the real loser is not the one whose life is lost in the
pandemic that person might actually be the winner. He might be the Shaheed the real loser is the one
who lives through the pandemic and does not benefit from the lessons gained in this pandemic. That
		

			is the real loser. The real loser is the one who does not understand mortality and human life does
not understand how quickly death comes does not change for the better. The real loser is the one who
does not benefit from any of the lessons that this last year has given that is the real loser. We
don't want to be amongst them. We don't want to be amongst them. So Allah says plan for the future.
Well don't don't have some academic LaHood today, today and any date doesn't matter any date today.
Let us plan for that future. Let us plan what do I have planned for the next month or next year my
rest of my life? What are your visions and goals dear Muslim? What do you want to accomplish in this
		

			world? And the next? What are your aspirations? The Quran is telling you, Walton don't have sown

what is overdue for in the taqwa the very best provision that we need on our journey to Allah and in
our planning for tomorrow is the taqwa of Allah subhana wa Tada. And one final point again so much
