Ali Ibn Abi Talib Ibn Abd al Muttalib Ibn Hashim Ibn Abd Manaf was born in the Sacred House (i.e. the Kaaba) in Mecca. Ali belonged to the clan of Banu Hashim, the most distinguished clan in all Arabia; and in Banu Hashim, he belonged to the most distinguished family – the family of Abdul Muttalib; his father was Abu Talib. His mother was Fatima, daughter of Asad Ibn Hashim Ibn Abd Manaf RA. She was like a mother to the Prophet ﷺ and his family, and he (the Prophet ﷺ) was brought up under her care. Ali RA had three brothers – Ja’far ibn Abī Tālib,Aqeel ibn Abi Talib and Talib ibn Abi Talib. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, gave his only daughter, Fatima Zahra, in marriage to Ali. Allah blessed this marriage with children who were Allah’s most devout servants.
Ali deserved the nicknames that adorned his life and some among them are – Al-Amīr al-Mu’minīn (The Commander of the Faithful), Abu Turab (Father of Dust/Soil) and Asadullāh (Lion of God).
Ali is revered for his courage, knowledge, belief, honesty to Islam, deep loyalty to Muhammad ﷺ and generosity in forgiving his defeated enemies.He was an embodiment of magnanimous traits such as that of a poet, a soldier, and a saint. This most sacred lineage became the symbols of patience, piety, justice and all good attributes and qualities.

And he changed it to Ali, he changed it to Ali. And Ali Abu Talib References This name. Later on in his life, he said I was the one who was born. And my mother called me the lion because the meaning of asset is lion. So he himself references later on that his first name was said, and then it was changed to Ali. And Elise
kunia is of course well known, it is about his son, the father of his son. And that is how many of his friends and contemporaries referred to him, as you should all know. and this lady was not a stranger. Rather, this lady was a type of biological grandmother as well. That is because nobody had married. Fatima Binti said, even Hashem even abdomen Ah, okay, so Hashem Hashem, the famous Hashem, right? Hashem had Abdulmutallab, and he had acid. So Abdul muttalib and acid are brothers. So Abdulmutallab an asset are brothers. This Fatima is the daughter of
acid, so Abdulmutallab and asset so the grandfather of the process and him his brother said his brother acid has the daughter. So Abu Talib and Fatima are first cousins, clear. Both Olive and Fatima are first cousins and they are both Banu Hashim. So the family of about Olive in particular is pure blue. Hashem is pure brainwashing because the father and the mother are both Hashemite. And so Fatima Binti Asad, even Hashem even Abdullah enough, is the mother of IVF.

She is his father's cousin, and she is his aunt. And she is the one who is raising him. Ever since I've been with Adam has died at the age of eight. And on top of that Fatima was the second lady to convert to Islam, who is the first lady Khadija so this is how close Fatima was
that as soon as the processor announced his Islam, even though Abu Talib never converted, Fatima converted immediately, Fatima converted immediately to Islam. And of course, at that point in time, you could remain married to a non Muslim right that will come much later in Medina. And so Fatima remain with Abu Talib all the way until they have died because it was Hillel at that time to to remain married to non Muslim and she was like a mother figure to him. She raised him in the house of authority. And as I said she was an actual aunt a first cousin of the Prophet systems father and she emigrated Fatima she emigrated with the Maha Joon with the Mahajan to Medina and she
lived with Fatima and Allie after they got married, and she passed away a year or two after they got married. So she passed away in Medina, one, the prophet system was there and there are stories with again, not not authentic change, but inshallah no problem narrating them that the Prophet system himself helped very Fatima that he entered the grave. And if this is true, and it is a big if because we don't know, if this is true, this will be basically the only figure that the process of himself went into the upper floor and buried and Allah knows best because these stories, as I said, there are there are found in many sources and some of them you just don't know how authentic they
are. Nonetheless, if it is true, it's not strange. And if it's not true, there's enough blessings for Fatima that we don't need this particular story. And she is buried in a lot of but she is buried in back there. And to this day, there is a spot and those of us that went on the road together I showed the brothers that went with me the spot where it is said it is alleged that Fatima is buried and a large region knows best whether that's true or not. So this is the mother of Isley and that is Fatima and we'll call it only had one wife because she was very, very poor. And throughout his own life he only married one lady and Fatima and Abu Talib they had six children. Fatima and olive had

And for reasons that no book mentions, he passed away, and he did not accept Islam. So he passed away in the same timeframe, like basically around the Battle of whether he passes away. And he does not accept Islam and Allah knows his inner reality. But outwardly, he did not accept Islam. So this is Polly.
And it is said that he did not leave any children. So taalib did not have any children to leave behind. The second brother after thought it was a clean and athletes and there are four brothers, we said and it's very strange, every one of these brothers is 10 years apart from the other brother. Okay, so athlete is 10 years younger than 40 and then Jaffa is 10 years younger than alcohol and then Ali is 10 years younger than Jaffa. So between Ali and polyp are 40 years. Okay. he was 10 years younger than potty. And what this means is that he's around seven, eight years younger than the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And it is the knowledge of genealogy and history. So who married whom and how many children that they have, and what are the so it's basically what we would call history. Remember from up above, and in the chaos, everybody just fled, and few people remained behind. And so one of the prestigious ranks of appeal athlete
even though he accepted Islam late, in fact, if you accept Islam in the conquest of Makkah, so this means he's barely been a Muslim basically a few weeks, and then her name takes place. And he remains firm in the face of that opposition. So it shows that a man had deeply entered his heart, we really do not know much about alcohol. Very little is mentioned in the books. And Allah knows best he doesn't seem to have played a prominent role even though he lived a long life and there's only one intriguing incident that takes place in the Philadelphia Valley regarding appeal.
That it is said that when alley and more obvious tension was rising up at that point in time, it comes to it and it is the halifa so we're fast forwarding basically 40 years after it comes to his younger brother Ali. And again this is his younger brother by by 20 years okay 20 years younger than him and he says to him, you see my situation can you give me some money? Okay, his brother's the halifa you see my situation can you give me some money? So Ali says one my next we can say salary like when my next earnings come? So whenever is the next batch that is mine. I will give you some of my share. Okay, I don't have anything right now. When my next income comes, I'll give you basically
some of that. So I think what irritated me This is older brother, you know, you're 20 years younger than meat, and you're the halifa. So he demanded, I need something you're the halifa Give me some money. And so, Ali said to one of his entourage, his his people around him, Go take it to the soup and announce that appeal will take from any of the barrels as he pleases.
Akhil said are you telling me to steal from from the to jail from the merchants.
Lee said, but you are telling me to steal. Because if I give you that means I have given you from someone else's share that they deserve. And you're asking me to steal their share, what right do I have to give you? So somehow the just because he's the halifa is saying, It's not my have to give you anything. you're not giving me I'm going to go to Maui.
Because, you know, there's tension between the two. Okay? So at least that that's your business, you want to go you go. So active, travelled all the way to sham.

I don't sugarcoat the reality. And those who want to portray that these two respectable figures, had absolutely no tensions between them are just simply not telling the truth. It is helpful to have tensions between two good people, and Allah will forgive both of them inshallah. And they are both Sahaba. But to claim that there was no tension to claim that everything was rosy. I mean, this is simply unreasonable. They went to war together, people were killed. They weren't opposite sides of the armies, but they knew that the other one was sincere. Let's just put it that way. Okay, but they did, they had their differences. So here's why we are giving basically athlete a lot of money. And
now saying, call us now that I've given you this, get on the member and tell people what you did, tell people what I did. Okay, so I still went on to the member. And he said, yohannes are people. I tried to attempt to rally from his money, but he chose his religion over his money. And I came to this man and I tempted him, but he chose money over his religion.
Fact. No, you're like, what are you gonna say? Fact? Okay. So when push came to shove, he realized that you can't purchase, you know, he wanted money, he got the money, but he's not gonna lie. He he respected a little, the loved one, even though he's irritated because he wants the money. But he respects the honesty of it, that you know what, he did not budge. And he did not sell his religion for money. And as for this person, he said, he sold his religion for money. And of course, that's his verdict. And he has the right to make that verdict. And we settled the law on him as mine. And so this is after the event. And of course, Malia became angry at him when he said this, and
basically asked him to leave and whatnot. And he lived a very long life, he actually died after the death of Malia and around 59, or 61 years old was the halifa. And therefore, he died almost at the age of 197 98 years old, right? And so how to law just imagine out of all of the Sahaba what are the stories that people would have had? Because he is going back to the very beginnings of Islam, right? Just imagine, I mean, that Allah if we were had been alive at that time, and again, we just wonder, did he used to tell the stories did people come to him? Why aren't they recorded? This is one of those things, you just have to let history go by with its mystery, Allah knows best, but actually
lived a long life and he died around 59 or 60 hegira. And by the way, it was the father of Muslim Ebon appeal.
If you remember, which, obviously while forgotten cut about a Karbala, Muslim, even a clean plate and a very important role in Canada. Right and this is the
nephew of or the cousin of Hussein and the nephew of ID. And Ali had sent Muslim to Kufa and they had betrayed Muslim. They've been acquitted. And even Ziad had captured Muslim and brutally killed him and threw him off the building. This is Muslim of an athlete remember we talked about the story. And to his end, he cursed the people of Kufa for having abandoned and he cried at before he was going to die. And he said, I'm not crying for myself. I'm not quoting anybody here but looking at her age and looking at what and her children or whatnot, Allah knows best seems seems to be not very old, and of the younger but not as young as Ali, or she might have been before Jaffa as well. This is also possible. Okay, so she's definitely not of the earlier she was of the lower
half of the children in terms of age, and she accepted Islam at the conquest of Makkah. So she's a late convert. However, she was always a private supporter of the process. And even though she never embraced Islam, and in fact, in Sahil Bahati, we read that the Islamic marriage took place when the Prophet system was in the house of O'Mahony.
And this is after the death of Khadija. So he's going to own behind his house and of course, from behind He is married and has children at this stage. So he is going to his cousin or mehan his house, and he spent the night over there. And that's when the story Mirage happened.
And this one version of events, another version is a mirage took place in the cabin. You know, we did this controversy when we did it so many years ago. And at the conquest of Makkah, she embraces Islam. And her husband, we talked about the story in detail, when I did the conquest of Makkah, there was a lot of tension between her husband and the early Muslims and he had in fact, done certain things. And Ali in particular was incensed and enraged at his sister's husband, brother in law, as we all know, family disputes get worse inside the family than outside the family. Okay, so whatever he had done, we only know some details, but whatever it was, it was incensed and enraged
with your loved one and he did not want
Forgive his brother in law, and so he threatened to execute Omaha and his husband whenever he saw him.
And Omaha when it came to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam on the day of the conquest of Makkah, and she went to the tend to Fatima. And because she's only Hannah, you're not going to say no to her. So this is a Hashemite and she has privileged that others don't have. So Fatima allows her in and the process of is taking a listen. Okay, you want to protection will give protection. And so protection was given to this person. But still, even though protection was given, he fled,
because he did not want to embrace Islam. And he left Makkah and so on mehan it became a widow or a divorce see if you like he left a marriage and basically fled, leaving her with the children. Okay, so she now has three children on her hands and her husband had fled after the conquest of Makkah. And
in some books of history, it is said that the Prophet system proposed for the hand of Omaha and
proposed for the hand of Omaha. And now this this incident is mentioned in some early books. And again, these are very early history books. So, we do respect and appreciate them at the same time, it must be said that as far as I know, this is not an authentic hadith. And remember, when it comes to history, it's okay to narrate. It's not you know, but nonetheless, this story in particular, I just have to mention that Allah knows best I'd have not found any snad for this story, but it is mentioned in some very early books that on my hand is said that the rasulillah I used to love you enjoy. Hey, Leah. So how about in Islam? Of course, if I wanted if I, of course, I would love to
