Yasir Qadhi – Lives Of The Sahaba 56 – Anas Ibn Malik

Yasir Qadhi

Anas Ibn Malik RA is next in the topic of discussion by Shaykh Yasir Qadhi where we extract details and important elucidations on the life and times of this great Sahaba. He has narrated over 2000 hadiths and is aptly considered to be the third most magnanimous narrator of Hadith after Abu Hurayrah RA and Ibn Umar RA.

Anas RA was an Ansari belonging to the Khazraj tribe and was born 10 years before the Hijrah. His mother was the famous and prolific Umm Sulaym RA and his step father was the great Abu Talha RA. Explicit details and numerous facts and anecdotes are shared relating to this great man and deserve a commendable section of thought. Amongst them, some have been listed below:

Abu Talha Ra was blessed with enormous amounts of wealth and he valued his garden named Beruha the most which was attached close to the mosque of the Prophet ﷺ. Allah’s Divine revelation: ‘you will not attain righteousness till you spend in charity of the things you love’ (3.93), brought Abu Talha in front of Muhammad ﷺ and said, “O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ! Allah says in His Book, ‘You will not attain righteousness unless you spend (in charity) that which you love,’ and verily, the most beloved to me of my property is Beeruha, so I give it in charity and hope for its reward from Allah. O Allah’s Messenger ﷺ! Spend it wherever you like.” Allah’s Messenger ﷺ appreciated this endowment .

Abu Talha and Umm Sulaym had a child of their own who was named Abu Umair RA. This child did not attain longevity of live and died at the tender age of approximately 5.

It is narrated in al-Bukhari that the brother of Anas ibn Malik RA called Abu Umayr had a bird who was called al-nughayr. The bird died suddenly and he mourned its loss heavily which brought the Prophet ﷺ to him and trying to lift his spirits asked him, “O Abu ‘Umayr, what happened to al-nughayr?”

This hadith highlights the nobility, humility nad great character of the Prophet ﷺ.

Anas ibn Malik once said: The Prophet ﷺ used to enter Umm Sulaym RA house and sleep on her mattress and one day her sister Umm Haram said to her, “The Prophet ﷺ is sleeping in your house on your bed.” She came and saw that his sweat had soaked a piece of cloth that was on the mattress. So she started collecting that sweat and squeezing it into bottles. The Prophet ﷺ woke up startled and said, “What are you doing, O Umm Sulaym?” She said, “O Messenger of Allah, we hope for the Barakah (blessing) of this sweat for our children.” He said, “You are right.”

The Prophet ﷺ had made Dua for Anas Ibn Malik RA in his lifetime which bore fruit till and after his last breath “Allahumma Urzuqu Maalan Wa Waladan Wa Barik Lahu” (O Allah, give him a wealth and offspring and bless his life).”

At the end of his life, Anas Ibn Malik became blind . He died in Basra in 93H at the age of 103 years.

00:00:20 --> 00:01:05
			Low Salatu was Salam ala rasulillah he was it he was like me he woman about today inshallah Tada,
we'll continue with our lectures on the highest of the Sahaba, the lives of the Sahaba. And today
we're going to do, perhaps the most or one of the most famous families of Medina, and that is the
family of unece, Ebony Malik eminent novel and a symptomatic all of us know the name of undisturbed
nomadic and that is because he is a primary Sahabi in the Madani phase, and he is one of the most
popular narrators are probably the second or the third most popular narrator of Hadith. So the most
famous narrator of it his Of course, who will come to operate within a phoenix inshallah to Allah.

00:01:05 --> 00:01:48
			And the second most popular and the third most is between a boomer and an S. So both a bit Roman and
ns have around 2500 Hadeeth. And some say Bahama has more, most likely had a little bit more we
already did a bit almost biography some months ago. So unnecessarily nomadic is essentially the
third most popular narrator of Hadith from the time of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And
he, along with his mother and whole family, they form perhaps the most well known of the Ansari,
families and therefore, today's lecture is not just going to be about us is going to be about his
mother, his stepfather, his uncles and aunts that we know of every one of them has roles and

00:01:48 --> 00:02:32
			incidents that we have studied in the Sierra, as we have covered this era from beginning to end. And
unnecessarily magic is of course an unsightly therefore we don't have any story about him in Makkah,
obviously, his stories begin in Medina, and he was born 10 years before the digital. So when the
Prophet system migrated, he was 10 years old, and he belongs to one of the sub tribes of the has the
Raj. So as we know there was Osen has alleged NSA radicals from the Casa Raj. His mother is perhaps
the most famous of the zodiac ladies without any competition without any exception, and she is on
miscellaneous on miscellaneous and Ole Miss your name appears to be the first female convert of

00:02:32 --> 00:03:19
			Islam to Medina. in Medina, it she appears to be the number one female convert to Islam. She
converted even before the Treaty of Aqaba. So she is of the earliest batch of converts. We don't
know her story of conversion, all that we know is that she converted even before she saw the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam. And her Eman was extremely, extremely strong, as we're gonna see
throughout these incidents. And Anna says, Father, and his father, Molly Kibler novel did not
convert. And he became very angry at him for having converted, and he especially loved alcohol, he
was an alcoholic. And he basically said, I'm never going to convert to a faith where I have to give

00:03:19 --> 00:03:48
			up alcohol, and he threatened to sue them. And Allah knows what would have happened. But he traveled
on a journey and he went to Syria to buy and sell certain merchandise, and he passed away before
anything could happen and you divorce or any physical thing could happen, and so on the pseudonym
became a widow, and this is all of this is before the digital. So she hasn't yet seen the Prophet
sallallahu alayhi wasallam and she has become a widow, and

00:03:49 --> 00:03:50
			mystery name.

00:03:51 --> 00:03:54
			Of course, when the Prophet system came and this was 10 years old.

00:03:56 --> 00:04:46
			And the Prophet salallahu alaihe was send them all Mr. Lim visited him and the first thing that she
did was that she took us with her and she said Jada Salalah This is nice, my son. Now another one is
this in Arabic is called posterior and posterior is a Arabic morphological phenomenon. You take a
noun and you change it to make it little something. So jevin Mountain becomes Jubail Okay, it's like
a little mountain. So this is an Arabic morphological structure that you add a Yeah, in the third
letter and it becomes little okay. So, ns becomes an ace and it becomes obeyed. So every name that
is obeyed or they do not obey the Roman is little habit. Okay? So why would you do that?

00:04:47 --> 00:04:59
			Either to demonstrate actual Little Miss or because and this was a little kid, so this is a nice
little bonus. So nice translates as little as, or sometimes it could be the meaning like obey the
law.

00:05:00 --> 00:05:44
			He is the little slave of Allah. Yeah. And you just think that he is a slave of Allah, even though
is not worthy and you know, worship worshiping Allah can never, you can never worship Allah the way
that he deserves. But whatever he's doing, it's a little bit. So you can have this real is called as
real for many reasons. So almost William said, O Messenger of Allah, this is always my son, my boy,
he is intelligent, he can read and write. So he's 10 years old, and has already learned how to read
and write, and I have offered you Sorry, I have offered him as a servant to you. So make dua for
him. So under sigmatic became a voluntary servant, he was not a slave. He was a voluntary servant of

00:05:44 --> 00:06:24
			the Prophet system, he would sleep in his house, or Mr. Names, and then the first thing he would do,
he would come running to the house of the Prophet system, any chore anything that needed to be done,
he would do it, and then he will go back home to his mother, and he spent 10 years like this 10
years as a servant, so much so that when you say hajima, Rasulullah, sallAllahu wasallam, even to
multiple people have this title, when you say hardy rasulillah without any other indication, you
only need one of them. And that is unacceptable, even to Elon Musk, has also been and is also but
when you say howdy moto Selena, and you don't clarify, you don't make it any condition, it only goes

00:06:24 --> 00:06:28
			to us because no one was as

00:06:29 --> 00:07:13
			dedicated or as long serving or as full time as an as a mnemonic and the process of the law while he
was sending them loved us like a family member because he essentially grew up with him essentially
understand growing up in the household of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa send them and the Prophet
system called him yamane Oh, my little boy, oh, my son. And the Prophet system gave him many pieces
of advice and was very playful with him. And he would tell him many things. And therefore anessa
demotic, not coincidentally, became one of the main narrators of Hadith, because he is with the
Profit System day in day out for 10 continuous years. And one day, Omar Suleiman came and said, O

00:07:13 --> 00:07:58
			Messenger of Allah, this is my son, he is doing crazy amount of you make dua for him. So the Prophet
system said nom, have fun, I will. And he raised his hands and he said, Oh Allah, increase the
wealth of unus and give him many children and make him live a long life and forgive his sins and
cause him to enter Paradise Subhanallah what's left, nothing is left. This beautiful drop that the
processor made for anessa mnemonic. It came true. Many, many years later unece would narrate this
hadith and he said, I have seen the increase in wealth. I have seen the increase in children. I have
seen this and that all that I have left is the ark era, meaning the agenda and I am hopeful I'll get

00:07:58 --> 00:08:39
			that as well. Okay, so unnecessarily Radek, the prophet has made this beautiful drop for him. So
before we get to the story of Ennis, who is this lady or Mr. Lim, who is a man was so strong that
the day that she comes to visit the process of she basically allows her son to be his servant, even
though she that was his only her only son. And obviously like any mother, she would want her son to
help her she would want her son to help out in the agriculture whatever. But who is this lady whose
Eman is so strong? she embraces Islam before seeing the Prophet system, and she then gives her son
and so many other incidents as we're going to mention, almost so lame is of course for Kenya. Her

00:08:39 --> 00:09:20
			actual name is not known. There are many, many opinions maneka, Salah Romania, or romaine saw and
some people say and this seems to be the opinion romae saw is not her name is another nickname. So
in your name is your cornea and romaine saw with Assad and if Hamza romaine slaw and some say
romaine with a thought and Tamar Buta and some say room a swan they have different meanings but
remains saw is the most accurate and common one and it is mentioned in the Hadith as well and
soluble hottie so romaine saw is the primary LOCOG and her cornea is on Miss Lane. And her name is
kind of unknown, like what name her mother and father gave her. It's kind of obscure there are many

00:09:20 --> 00:09:59
			opinions about the original name. And as we had said that Mr. Lane was the first female convert in
Medina. And we already mentioned that as his father another passed away in the days of not in the
days God and the days pre hedgerow, sorry, not God. And when he died, she became a widow when the
finished a one of the nobleman of Medina bhupen, have an unsightly case came knocking on her door
and said I wish to marry you. So when Omar Suleiman finishes or both will have says to Mr. Lim, I
wish to marry you and I will

00:10:00 --> 00:10:23
			Half was one of the most richest and noble people of the tribe of the rich as well almost Salim said
yeah about on her Miss Luca la Yura someone like you can never be said no to you are noble and I
will tell her as well, by the way was very handsome. He was very strong, he was muscular. We'll know
this because we get to the theater of his war,

00:10:24 --> 00:10:47
			his expeditions in war. So he was a very strong man. He was a handsome man he was rich, and he
everything is in his favorite noble tribe noble background on the planet has said, Miss McCullough,
you're on how can I say no to you? You are too good to say no to, but I am a Muslim, and you are a
fool. And you are not halal for me.

00:10:48 --> 00:10:51
			But if you agree to embrace Islam,

00:10:52 --> 00:10:55
			then your Islam shall be my mother.

00:10:57 --> 00:10:59
			Your Islam shall be my mother.

00:11:00 --> 00:11:45
			And so are both one has embraced Islam, and married or miscellany. And the Sahaba would say and this
is now an example or a method or a statement. No MA in Islam was more blessed than the mother of a
Muslim. No Maha was more blessed than the maharal mystery How can I might have been more blessed
than the mother for Mr. Lim, when the MA herself was Islam. She didn't ask for any money. She said,
I want your Islam. And this also shows by the key point that mahad does not have to be monetary. And
in one instance also he was married to Sahaba for the Quran, teacher, the Koran we learnt will come
this in our field of marriage and divorce will come to this that had does not have to be monetary,

00:11:45 --> 00:12:29
			it can be something else as well, and so on Mr. Name, requested the manga to be the embracing of
Islam. And so I will call her embraced Islam. And he then went to Makkah, and became one of the 70
people who participated in the second treaty of acaba. So this is early, this is pre digital. Okay,
so I will call her participate into the second treaty of Aqaba. And he participated in each and
every battle with the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and his expeditions. And his fighting is
well known. As I said, he was a very physically fit and strong the man, and he had broad shoulders
and very muscular body. And he also had a very deep voice of booming voice, as they say, and the

00:12:29 --> 00:12:55
			Prophet sallallahu Sallam said that the voice of Abu talhah is more terrifying for the Quraysh than
an even an army or a contingent of battle force, when they hear the voice of a vocal how they are
more terrified that if they were to see some, you know, groups of people there, and I will call her
as well this is another step further, right. I will tell her as well, the famous incident of offered
when the arrows began, began

00:12:56 --> 00:13:12
			raining down on the profits of a seller, it was Abu talhah who stood and he put his back in front of
the Prophet system to protect him and said nahi doing inadequate rasulillah my neck instead of yours
or messenger of Allah, so he became a human shield

00:13:13 --> 00:13:55
			in front of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and I will tell half an Ole Miss Lane, there
are so many famous stories all of you have heard of them, perhaps you won't remember it is these two
shall after today's lecture, you'll always remember it's these two, the D stories reference, the
first story that we're going to meet a number of stories about them. So this is the mother and
stepfather of anessa demotic. One of the famous stories is that when a law revealed in the Quran,
Allah and Milan and Milan lunch and Alan bureaux had turned fecal matter hipbone You shall not
attain piety until you give that which you love. So I will probably have heard this ayah you shall

00:13:55 --> 00:14:39
			not attain piety until you give that which you love. Okay, the highest level of dakhla will come
when you give that which you love. So he went to the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and said
yada swill Allah, you know that I own many gardens. But the most favorite garden of mine is they do
have, they would name gardens, they would name animals, we still name animals in our times, they
would name these things and they have special nouns. So you know, the names of animals and the names
of places has different nouns that are known to the Arabs. So the name of the garden was beta hat,
okay. And where is beta hat beta has actually, if you enter the profits, this was measured from the

00:14:39 --> 00:14:59
			back gate that came from the gate, the the rear most gate and you walk maybe around 150 feet on the
left hand side. This is where Barrow Hill was instead a prime location, okay, it's well known where
it was. So he said that is my most favorite spot is my most favorite garden.

00:15:00 --> 00:15:05
			And I want to give it for the sake of Allah zoologia do with it as you please.

00:15:06 --> 00:15:57
			So, the prophet system said, bah, bah, bah, bah, which is a statement doesn't have a verb or a noun,
meaning it's simply like wow or like amazing something like this or you have done good luck in bah,
bah, bah, Allah has accepted this, this digital this, this transaction, I suggest or advise you that
you set it aside for your family and relatives who are poor. So and because he was of the elite of
the hustler, so basically all of the husbands who are poor are going to be able to take from this
garden. And so I will call have made it the first walk in the history of the world walk endowment.
This Hadith is the first endowment had, okay, the concept of endowment is a whole different topic.

00:15:57 --> 00:16:41
			And it is an Islamic concept that was unknown before the coming of Islam. And before this Hadeeth.
And an endowment, as you should all know, because it is an Islamic concept is now the staple
backbone of all academic institutions, and all nonprofits that are famous and rich and whatnot. They
operate on the principle of endowments, and the concept of endowments is coming from the hadith of
Abu Padilha. The Western world did not know endowments, the world did not know endowments until this
had either. And what is an endowment? an endowment is a property that is not owned by any one person
or entity or owner. It is owned by a collective, and the profits are spent on some good deed. Okay,

00:16:41 --> 00:17:22
			this is what an endowment is that it is owned and managed by a collective group of people who cannot
benefit from that the owners technically cannot pocket the money unless they're getting paid for
something they do for that endowment. So if somebody is farming on the endowment, and he's also then
he'll get paid for the salary that any person would get paid, you cannot make a profit off an
endowment. Okay, so the concept of nonprofits, the concept of endowment is coming from a book on how
we owe this end to Alberta has had, this is where it all began. So the process of said, leave the
base of the garden, and the fruits of it are going to go to the Pokhara. So this is what an

00:17:22 --> 00:18:00
			endowment is okay, that that the ownership or the the property is not going to be taken advantage of
by any person, but somebody will maintain it, you know, take care of the garden, what not, they'll
get a stipend, a wage for doing that. And all the profits will go toward a cause. Okay, so as you
know, these days, all universities have endowments, you know, the largest endowment, you know,
Harvard, Yale, Princeton, they have over $100 billion, collectively and endowments, just like I
mean, they have more money than most countries in the world, the concept of endowment, where does it
come from? It comes from this idea of global health. And one more editors to edit in the Sierra has

00:18:00 --> 00:18:34
			the first one. Okay, the first Hadeeth ever have endowments, there's only two authentic, I think
this is the first one, the concept of endowment. So ultra high then said yes, I will do this. Then
he went back to Beirut and understood the Malik and his mother and my surname were inside the
garden. And I will call her yells from outside the garden. And he says yeah, yeah, I'm so lame.
Because now he thinks he's not allowed to even enter the garden little bit strict but he's just
being harsh on him. So, yeah, I will miss her name, I have sold this garden to a bitter who cannot
be outwit.

00:18:35 --> 00:18:40
			And that is Allah subhana wa tada and I have given this garden to a lot in return Virgin

00:18:41 --> 00:19:05
			and Miss Elaine and so come out and bring your property we can no longer bring your you know clothes
or whatever, we can no longer be here. So Ole Miss Elaine says, may Allah bless this transaction you
know you have done good and then she brought her stuff and the the garden then became for the for
Cora and Misaki. And the second story, which is also one of the most famous stories of the Sierra

00:19:07 --> 00:19:30
			books of Hadith of the concept of suburbia is well known and that is that omisego name and Bhopal
have they had a child of their own? Okay, remember unece is not the biological son I will remember
right? And this is the step son. So and this is the steps inevitable but half I will try to help him
get married and they have a boy and the boy.

00:19:31 --> 00:19:41
			Again, his name is murkier, cloudy, we don't know his actual name, but he was given a cornea of
abodo made of wood who made okay and by the way, before we get to the story about a man

00:19:43 --> 00:19:59
			or a man has one of the most famous Hadith in Sahih Bukhari which is a heady that has been commented
on by many, many scholars. About a male was a young boy, I will tell her I would always carry him
always have him in his hand, bring him to the masjid pray with him, playing with him all the time.
It was

00:20:00 --> 00:20:47
			very fond of his son of a, and a boy, a man had a pet bird, a canary, you know, pet bird, he had a
canary that he would be playing with. And one day the canary died, the canary died. And the
profitsystem saw of what I made very sad all alone, just you know, crying whatnot. So he asked,
almost today, obviously, what happened to Obama? Why is he crying? Why is he sad? And she said, his
pet Canary died. Okay. And the canary in Arabic is called mother, his mother died, his Canary died.
Now we don't know how old he is. But he's not really having a conversation. So my assumption is four
or five years old, like he's not really having a conversation with the Prophet. So somebody's just a

00:20:47 --> 00:21:29
			young little kid, he understands, but he's not really adult enough to talk back. So the Prophet
system tried to cheer him up by being playful with him, and just, you know, having a conversation
with him. And he said, and this is the famous line yet about Romania, my father newletter. There's a
famous line inside Bahati that it's commented on by hundreds of scholars and benefits are derived
from it. From this headache, about romaine my father nowhere. So imagine the Profit System is the
most respected. No doubt, man not only recognizes who the processor is, but there must be a feeling
of respect and all so the fact that the process of comes up to him and you know, plays with him,

00:21:29 --> 00:22:05
			picks him up, and then makes a rhyming phrase. Yeah. About Oh, man, my father nowhere. Nowhere is a
little bird. No garden. Okay. The same thing we talked about Gerald Jubail would not so he's making
it rhyme with the name of the boy as well. Yeah. I made my father newlywed, you know, what happened
to your to your parrot, your parrot to your Canary, you know, is that most likely a canary type of
bridge? What happened to your Canary. So the process is like, you know, just trying to cheer him up,
because he is who he is. And the little boy is obviously going to feel something that that attention
is shown this is this is the famous boromir. Now, what's the story of a man fell sick one day, and

00:22:06 --> 00:22:46
			I will find out how to go on a expedition on a trading expedition. So he left for his trading
expedition and Subhanallah boromir passed away he died. Okay, little kid, maybe four or five years
old at max, okay, he passes away. And the father is of course has traveled and you know, in these
travels, there's no connection, there's no nothing, and he has no idea what has happened. Or Mr.
Lane. You know, does hosel of the child does the coffin. And you know, the Sahaba bury the child and
a Muslim waits for a vote on how to come back. Okay, this as we all have, you know, every one of you
should know this, that this is one of the most famous stories of support and patience. So the mother

00:22:46 --> 00:23:25
			has lost her child. And she wants to break the news in a gentle manner in a manner that is going to
be easiest on her husband. So Subhanallah she's the mother, but she's trying to, you know, show her
suffer and to make a weapon as well patient. And so the books of Hadith mentioned in this hadith is
in every single book of Hadith, that she prepared herself, she freshened herself. She wore her best
clothes, she perfumed herself, she cooked the best food, and I will tell her came and ate the food.
And so how is my boy, and she responded, he has never been more peaceful than he is right now.

00:23:27 --> 00:23:58
			Okay, he has never been more at peace than he is right now. And of course, the impression that he
got was okay, at hamdulillah he's sleeping Everything is fine. And because she had prepared herself
and perfume herself, so you know, and he has coming back from a trip. So they are husband and wife
to one another that night, the next morning, then he wakes up and says, Okay, let me see the boy.
And she says, you know, let me tell you one thing. You know, that neighbor, she mentioned the name.
They had borrowed an item from the other neighbor.

00:23:59 --> 00:24:16
			And when the owners came to take the item back, they said no, they're not going to give it what do
you say to this? So I will fall hazard that's not right. When an item is Lent, and then the owner
wants it back. He has every right to take it back. So then almost so lame said

00:24:17 --> 00:24:57
			Abu Romain was alone that Allah gifted us with and Allah azza wa jal wanted him back. supanova I
mean, just like, from where, to where, you know, it was a loan that Allah gifted us with and a law
called him back. How can we stop a lot of Decree? Right? And now you can imagine the shock of the
father because the whole night he's been thinking the kid is fine the whole night. He's been, you
know, like, everything is okay. And he's done what he's done. And in shock, he goes to the Profit
System, like not knowing what else to do, whether he's lodging a complaint against his wife, whether
whatever he tells her everything, in all likelihood is just chalk. He doesn't know what else to do.

00:24:57 --> 00:25:00
			Okay, just goes to the process of instead, I came

00:25:00 --> 00:25:26
			And she did this and this and now you know, and I find out he's dead or whatnot. So he basically
opens up to the Profit System. And the Profit System said that may Allah bless you for your last
night. May Allah bless you whatever happened last night, May Allah give you Baraka in that. And from
that union came one of the most famous Sahaba as well who has a whole different story. And that was
Abdullah Abdullah bin. And Abdullah bin bin Abu talhah.

00:25:27 --> 00:25:51
			participated in the conquest of Persia and Damascus and whatnot. And he grew up to be a very famous
Yani. Of course, he's a very young Sahabi but nonetheless, he is a Sahabi. And he died a Shaheed in
one of the battles in the foreign lands of Persia and whatnot. So he also has his story. So this you
know, the this story of suburbia is one of the most famous stories of suburb of omits realism. And

00:25:52 --> 00:26:06
			I will point out as well, I mean, continue to participate in every single as as well, until he
passed away. It is said in either in one of the naval expeditions, or in the time of earthman,
rhodiola. One, he passed away a very,

00:26:07 --> 00:26:48
			very old age of 75, for that timeframe. And it is also mentioned that will help continue to
participate in the expeditions against the Romans, even at that age. And Abdullah, his son would
say, Oh, my father, your turn has finished sit down, I'll fight on your behalf. Your turn is gone.
Don't worry. Now your you have done what you have done. And he would quote the verse in the Quran in
Pharaoh FAFEN with your color, go forth, whether you're light or whether you're heavy, if you're
ready, you're not ready, just go forth, and he goes unable to go. So he continued to participate
until he passed away. So that is a thought. And so that's the story. I will call her back to

00:26:48 --> 00:27:02
			homeschooling. homeschooling has one sister who also has a very interesting story. So this is the
Hon of unece. This is the Hall of anessa demonic and she has just one interesting story that
everybody also knows about now you will connect it to NSF demotic.

00:27:04 --> 00:27:40
			And almost your lame sister was held on Bentonville, Han Omaha Ron built him in hand and only her
arm and Mr. Named two sisters the profit system you can see they were like family friends and by the
way will Mr. Lane was a neighbor as well to the whys of the process that I'm so there are literally
family friends and the process of would visit Mr. Names house on a motel has very frequently and
sometimes he will even take his siesta you know there's an afternoon nap. Sometimes he would take a
siesta in their house or in one of these visits. Omaha ROM is there the sister of omit surname and

00:27:41 --> 00:27:56
			the and the profitsystem wakes up laughing and Omaha Ron says Why are you laughing Yasuda law, and
he says a lot showed me a vision a dream of my own man riding ships.

00:27:57 --> 00:28:36
			Now, for the Arabs. Riding a ship was a very, very big deal. And they considered it to be a
terrifying experience. And the Quran mentions is very that I'll give you full key right? And the
desert Bedouins and the Arabs did not like ships. They did not like to go on the ships. And it was
for them something that is a very dangerous thing. And it was dangerous for the time, but especially
then they just did not like the concept of ships. So the process of them is now seeing and he goes
my son, my own man is going to ride ships, you're gonna buy her, you know, and they're going to
conquer other lands, riding ships. Now this prediction is bizarre coming from a people that are

00:28:36 --> 00:29:23
			desert Falcon they don't like they don't like chips. So what an Omaha ROM say, you had a pseudo law.
Make do that I am amongst them. And will lie. This is one of those bizarre bizarre bizarre Hadeeth
because you know, even if you were to say these predictions will occur, you'll say okay, after 200
years, after 500 years, but to imagine a Navy force in the time of the Sahaba will lie This is
impossible for a human to imagine. Impossible. And they don't even have a port yet. They don't even
have people to build ships yet. The Sahaba could not build ships they didn't learn any of this
right? It's not their their thing. So ROM says yada sola make me amongst those make Dora that I am

00:29:23 --> 00:29:59
			amongst those. So the Prophet system said, empty man whom you will be amongst them. You will be
amongst the naval expedition. And Savannah law on the harem lived many many many more years, until
in the time of more are we even abusive even more Alia has now conquered Damascus of Ghana. Sorry,
he's not the concrete he's the mayor Khalifa is in Damascus. And of course the technology of the
Romans is now at his disposal. And so he orders the first Muslim naval force ever. This is more Alia
and they

00:30:00 --> 00:30:39
			Attack many lands, but one of them is called Little Cypress. And only male hand volunteers as a 70
something year old lady, she was I'm going to go as well. And there's no doubt even though we don't
have eyewitness, there is no doubt that she's volunteering because of this Hadeeth as well. There's
no doubt that she knows that she has to be there. Otherwise, what is the 75 year old lady doing on a
boat going up for Jihad? I mean, there's no you know, it's one of those things that you have to
understand there must be this reason. And so she participates in that as well. In the battle, sorry,
not in the battle in the ship. She's in the ship. And when the ship landed on the southernmost tip

00:30:39 --> 00:30:58
			of oberus of Cyprus, and we know exactly where it landed, because to this day, there is a Masjid,
where her grave is, to this day, I have not been to overs but I have seen pictures of the masjid
when I was doing my research some years ago for something else. I just googled this to find out and
there is a mustard where her grave and Republic is.

00:30:59 --> 00:31:01
			And it is literally next to the seashore.

00:31:02 --> 00:31:50
			And it is said that when the ship landed, the doors opened up. And she came out on a camel. And the
camel perhaps was seasick, whatever, whatever it was, as soon as it came onto the land, the camel
reared backwards very quickly. And on the head arm flew off its back, landed on her head, and she
died on the spot. Okay, and so she was buried right there on the spot, just like the process and
predicted you're going to be amongst those people who are doing the naval expeditions. And, of
course, Cyprus was eventually conquered, as you know, and it was ruled by the Muslims for 250 years
or so. And then the Muslims were expelled small pockets, Muslims were expelled from Cyprus, and

00:31:50 --> 00:32:35
			Malta, and underload. These are the three classical lands that were Muslims were expelled from
Cyprus and Malta. Muslims only had them for like 200 years or so for small periods of time. And
there are still remnants of Islamic rule, both in Cyprus and Malta very, very small remnants, and
this is one of them that the other have omit How long is in Cyprus to this day? So this is the con
of unece abney Malik, okay. Also, I talked about the process of sometimes having a CS step in his
house, and when he would go to sleep omis renamed the mother of us, she would have a jar and she
would collect the sweat of the Prophet system and put it in the jar. This is the mother of honor she

00:32:35 --> 00:33:23
			would collect the sweat of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and one day the process and woke
up and said, What are you doing? Why are you collecting my sweat? And, and she did this more than
once. And one time she said, we use it to about rochen Leola Dina, we use it as a Baraka for our
children. We use it to bless our children. And in another version or another instant instance, she
said, we use it as perfume for ourselves, okay, because the sweat of the Profit System was more
fragrant than perfume. So she would use it as perfume and she would use it as humble as Baraka as
well. And on Mr. Name, became one of the very, very few Sahaba yet who were promised gender, as I

00:33:23 --> 00:34:07
			have said many times, it is a common misconception that only 10 were promised paradise This is
wrong. Actually, at least 20 if not more, were explicitly promised paradise in this world. But 10
amongst them are famous because they are mentioned in one Hadith, I shall have an agenda, Abu Bakr
Omar worth man. So all 10 are mentioned in one Hadith, so we call them Allah Shara al mushara. But
in reality, many more probably double that amount have been promised gentlemen in this world. And
amongst them are a few women, such as Khadija and of those women is omis to name one of the very,
very few ladies who has been promised gender in this life. And the Hadith is actually a solid

00:34:07 --> 00:34:34
			Buhari. All of you know, the Hadith, this Hadith, but most of you have no idea that it mentions Mr.
Lamb in it. And perhaps sometimes our sisters are justified when they say we never pay attention to
the status of women in Islam and whatnot. Perhaps there's an element of truth, an element of truth
note I'm saying not the whole thing, but sometimes we do overlook because all of you know this
Hadeeth the ending? Hardly anybody knows the beginning. The ending of it mentions the footsteps of
Bilal.

00:34:35 --> 00:34:55
			You all know the footsteps of Ilan, right? The same Hadith mentions Omar Suleiman. How many of you
ever knew that He also mentioned some mysoline Okay, so the Hadith isn't Buhari and other books of
Hadith and our prophecies and said that I entered Jenna and I saw a room I saw the wife of Abu
talhah

00:34:57 --> 00:34:59
			and I saw a palace and I asked who says

00:35:00 --> 00:35:43
			It is whatever hotdogs and I heard footsteps and I asked you in whose footsteps and he said his
beloved. Okay, so you all know Beloved, many of you know the story of Armada as well that I saw the
Palace of Roma engender. And the beginning of it is I saw a Rome a saw the wife of a bouteille ha.
So this shows us the status of an ohmmeter name. It shows us the Status of Women saying that one of
the only ladies have the answer, who has been explicitly promised gender in this world. So if this
is the mother, and this is the stepfather, what do you think is going to happen with the sun, and
inshallah This is generally the son of a lot, generally speaking, that the more righteous the family

00:35:43 --> 00:36:27
			than the more righteous the children. And this is the general reality also of history as well. Oh,
we forgot to mention one more of his family and then we'll move on to one more person of his family.
And that is under Sidney Malik's Bible biological uncle, his biological uncle, his father's blood
brother, not his stepfather his father's blood brother, okay. And NSM mnemonics biological uncle his
arm is confusing, but his name is also unece. So both the nephew and the and the uncle are called
ns, the one is unnecessarily Malik, the other is under Sivan another, okay? Ns, even another and ns
and another we mentioned his story in detail and the Battle of oferte. We mentioned his story in

00:36:27 --> 00:36:56
			detail and the Battle of go back and listen to a bit very briefly, he played a vital role in the
Battle of oil. And he was the one who would say, to the profits of the law while he was selling the
auto suit Allah, Allah did not allow me to be a beggar. And if Allah gives me any chance to fight
against the Quran, Allah will see what I'm able to do. I will show a lot what I'm able to do, and

00:36:58 --> 00:37:41
			then in the battle have offered us even another played a very, very vital role, and he repelled the
initial army. And then when he did it, when he came back, he was fighting harder than odious forces.
And then when the rumors spread that the profitsystem had, it was a rumor that he had passed away.
Ernest Ebner another then said Of what use is living anymore Why I have no need then to live and he
then donned a special secondary armor and He then took his sword and he goes I'm just going to do
what I can to the forces of haunted and he passed by side even was the famous Sahabi with the we're
also going to mention inshallah, in this series, sadly been won. And sad even more as he said to

00:37:41 --> 00:38:17
			sad, yeah, sad in Nila ijebu to write has an agenda or sad I can smell agenda coming from behind her
that can smell it now. And he had that look of his face, which is the look of death. He's going to
he's going to enter agenda now. And he fought such a brave fighting that when they found his body,
they could not recognize who this person was. There was runes and blood and his face was disfigured
over 80 wounds on his dead body. And they had disfigured him when they finally killed him because
there was so angry at him. Nobody could recognize the corpse and they had to bring people who has
this corpse until finally

00:38:18 --> 00:38:58
			unless his sister, which is unnecessary pneumatics, then ama, right. And it's an another his younger
sister, which is under cinematics ama, right you get the point. She was the one who recognized and
received another from his fingertips. Because the whole body was so disfigured. She had to look at
the fingertips. And then she said, This is my brother, I'm honest, and honest, his ama was called a
robot year, a robot winter novel. And she also has some stories in the Sierra as well. She lost a
son in the Battle of butter. And so this is his cousin that she lost. And his name is that had it
also mentioned history in the Bible. But I also mentioned history, all of these stories are coming

00:38:58 --> 00:39:42
			together now is the same family and Rebecca lost her son and Hadith. And she came to the process and
said, O Messenger of Allah, I am a mother, I lost my son, I am grieving telling me something that
will cheer me up Tell me something that will make it easy for me is my son in gender and the
profitsystem said, he is not in Jannah he is in Japan, the plural, he is not in just one gender, he
is in Japan, and he is in a who those who either he died, but the son How does it so this is the
cousin of And so again, the whole family is a blended family of the unsought and Ana symptomatic is,
as I said, one of the most famous of the onslaught. Now we get to honestly demonic and what we know

00:39:42 --> 00:39:46
			about under symptomatic and asymptomatic, participated in

00:39:47 --> 00:39:59
			the major battles and he was the youngest person at budget, but he did not fight at better. He came
as a servant of the Prophet sallallahu sallam, and he did not fight at Burger because he was only

00:40:00 --> 00:40:40
			11 and a half or 12 years old, and the fighting age was 14 and above. So Anna's did not fight in
murder. And because of this, he is not considered a full battery. But they say he witnessed but
because the full battery has a special status, you know, the battery unit of the Sahaba, they are
the highest after the national mobile show, right? We talked about the levels of the Sahaba. The
highest is the 10. Then the next level is the beaudry, Yun, and so on us has a category that is kind
of attached to the balloon and that is shader that he was there in the battlefield, but he didn't
actually participate in the fighting and it's not his fault. He was not to the age of fighting. And

00:40:40 --> 00:40:52
			after this he participated in pretty much every battle along with the Prophet salallahu idea he was
sending him and he narrated the famous Hadith that all of you have heard that heard him to nebia
Salalah while he was sending them Ashura sin

00:40:55 --> 00:41:44
			I serve the Prophet sallallahu ala he was send them Ashura city in 10 years for LA he I swear by
Allah, ma Baba bunny ox, he never once hit me. And he never once I tap and he like rebuked me, and
he never once spoke harshly with me. This Hadith is amazing, because we as parents cannot even do
this with our own kids. Imagine somebody who is not even your biological kid, right? we as parents
cannot even control our anger this much. And our Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam never once
rebuked us harshly, never once hit us even though in those days disciplining a child physically was
the norm. It was the standard the norm, everybody did it. And Annette says ma bonifati never want it

00:41:44 --> 00:42:24
			to me. And he never once you know, rebuked me harshly or whatnot. And I served him for 10 years. And
the Prophet system was very playful with him. And he himself narrates himself. Now he said once the
Prophet system sent me to do a chore, but I wasn't in the mood to do it. And I found some children
playing. He's 10 years old, I found some children playing. So I began to play with them. And next
thing I know, the Profit System is lifting me from the IRS. And he's laughing and he said ns didn't
I send you to go do that? And and I said, Nam undefined? I'm gonna do this now. I'm gonna do it now
just like any kid was a I'm doing it now. I'm doing it now. And he went running off his to do his

00:42:24 --> 00:43:04
			chore. And from that time on, he was given the title Zoo name the one of two years because the
process of picked him up by both the visitors and didn't I send you there? And he said, I'm going so
I'm going right now. So again, this shows the playfulness and the the nature of the process of the
law while he was settling. Another famous Hadith he said Yasuda law. I am your palladium. I'm your
little servant. I'm your boy them. ish. Finally, make sure for me on judgment day. I want you to
shut up on judgment day. So the prophets have said in Nila Fine, I will do it. So Anna said aina
otterloo Kairos was a very very interesting Hadith isn't it? A million others? aina autoboca

00:43:04 --> 00:43:16
			rasulillah When will I find you on piano? There is so many people where will I find you? So the
Prophet system said the first place you should look for is that the Surat

00:43:17 --> 00:43:28
			if you don't find me there, try it tried to me Zan. If you don't find me there, then look at the
hold. And for sure you will find that one of these three.

00:43:29 --> 00:44:06
			What a beautiful Hadith. Hmm, because honestly saying how am I gonna find you? I want to find you so
that I can hold on jazzy Otto sort of I'll make sure for me like you promised. Okay, so where will I
look for you? Where will I find you? So he said, First try the slot. If you don't find me there,
look at the reason. The reason the skills. And if you don't find me there, then I'll be at the hold
one of these three for sure. You're going to find me over there. So this beautiful How do you think
give us a little bit about judgment day as well. Also one of the things we learned about NSF dematic
as well is that the profit system would give him many specific advices and this shows the care and

00:44:06 --> 00:44:46
			the love that the process have had. And there are so many a hadith about this, that the process of
advising under something specific for example, he told us that always perform will do for the sake
of blessings and Baraka. He told us that whenever you enter a house say Salaam for the sake of
Baraka, he told us that whoever you meet then say Salaam Allah will forgive you or you're in good
deeds will increase. He told us that do will do before you go to sleep go to sleep in the state of
loop. He told us that Be gentle to the young and be merciful to the old then you will be with me on
judgment day. Okay, be gentle with the young and merciful to the old. He told us that if you can go

00:44:46 --> 00:44:59
			to sleep at night with your heart free of any rancor, any jealousy and he will then do so. So all of
these things you can imagine over these 10 years. He is benefiting under symptomatic and under

00:45:00 --> 00:45:16
			is telling us these beautiful gems from the Sierra of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and
NSU dematic are one of the prophecies and passed away. So now he is 20 years old. So he's now a full
man and the whole of Russia don't.

00:45:18 --> 00:46:00
			They took full advantage of him throughout the four whole life, I'm not going to go over it is too
long. Every one of them gave multiple positions, the governor here, the commander there, and you can
imagine this is one of the main ansara well trusted. So he's essentially a government official for
the whole of Russia do for all of those 40 years or 30 years, he's basically doing one thing after
another, the governor of this city or that city or sent an expedition, and he helps throughout all
of these years, until after the era of the whole of Russia don't. He then goes and settles in Basra
for many, many years. And in bussola, he starts a few businesses and he owns property in Basra, and

00:46:00 --> 00:46:42
			he begins to narrate Hadith in the Grand Mosque of Basra. He begins to narrate Hadith in the Grand
Mosque of Basra and NSU demotic as we will mention lives a very long life. So, you can imagine,
given his intimate knowledge, given that he taught at a time during this bustle and phase in
particular of peace and stability, given the fact that he is one of the senior most companions in a
city. So, all of these facilitated unece to have large helicopters and people would come and take
notes from him and listen to him. And he taught some of the greatest of the next generation such as
image, Shahab, Missouri these are names that even the most basic student of Hadith knows, such as

00:46:42 --> 00:47:06
			Mohammed bin serien like the giants of the Tabby rune, they are unnecessarily Malik students because
he lived that life is in Basra and what not then the fifth and started the Civil War started between
the heads and the others. He kind of avoided the sahabas Fitness he didn't want to get too much
involved in that. But then the fitness started between the Romanians and the Londoners obeyed and
others and others obey was in Where was he?

00:47:15 --> 00:47:23
			He was in Medina. He took the ages he was mcca as well but he lived in Medina, Makkah and Medina but
he lived in Medina primarily. Okay.

00:47:24 --> 00:48:10
			Yeah, so that was at the end of his life. Okay, so he's bases Medina. And he is, of course, he jazz
was his alumnus of a jazz was his so he's going between MCC and Medina. But Medina is his primary
mystica. But he's also living in Makkah towards the end of his life. That's where he dies. I'll go
that way. So he invites NSA demonic back, he says, I want you back here. And ns. rightfully so, felt
that outlook has obeyed is a better person the way it's so he came back to the Hejaz. He came back
to the Hejaz, and he's settled in the Hejaz for a period of time. But then the evil governor
infamous in early Islamic history had judge even use of attacked.

00:48:11 --> 00:48:19
			And now when he attacks on us, he's on this side, right? He's with even as obey, and

00:48:20 --> 00:48:28
			how judge now most of you adults know hijas. The youngsters haven't heard of hijab and Yusuf. And
* bin Yusuf is one of those

00:48:29 --> 00:48:47
			early figures of Islam that has done so much wrong. Even taymiyah says that head judge was no more
tyrannical than most regular tyrants of any generation. But his crime was that his tyranny was
against the generation of the Sahaba.

00:48:48 --> 00:49:18
			Like most kings do what he does, most political rulers do what he does nothing different about what
he's doing. But the difference was that he did it in the generation of the Sahaba, who is head judge
fighting the Sahaba, who's he killing the Sahaba and beyond. So it's not that had judge techniques
and tactics are different is just that he's doing them to the best generation. So obviously, that
causes him to be the worst of the worst, okay. And this is how judge Hijazi never became the halifa
high judge was an

00:49:20 --> 00:49:45
			basically, a politician and a military general who did anything and everything for the Obama years
for his bosses, okay. He didn't care about morals he didn't care about right and wrong. He just
wanted to win the battle and and basically get the reward from the halifa. And he was militarily
effective, ruthless, brutal, no mercy. And that's what

00:49:46 --> 00:49:59
			tyrants want. That's what the leaders want. They want these types of generals they can rely on. And
that is what had George was he was one of those brutal generals and had judge surrounded muck, as
you know, and he attacked

00:50:00 --> 00:50:09
			MK and he used catapults in Makkah, and those kind of poles, unintentionally damaged the Kaaba. When
I say unintentionally. I mean,

00:50:10 --> 00:50:48
			this is not a defense of hedgewitch. Obviously his Nia is not to destroy the Kaaba, his Nia is to
attack even Zubaydah and his forces but if there's a weight is in Makkah so when you're going to
throw bombs or catapults on MK, what do you think is gonna happen? Right? And there's not a defense
but I'm just saying no Muslim wants to hurt or harm the Kaaba, but, and obviously he's a Muslim,
he's praying, he's not like he's not a coward for what he's done. But he destroys the Kaaba and
that's what it was rebuilt in time after that time of a judge. And he attacks Medina as well. And
unnecessarily Malik is in Medina. And when the forces have had judge

00:50:49 --> 00:50:57
			beat the forces of debate in Medina, one of the largest massacres of early Islam took place.

00:50:58 --> 00:51:01
			And also one of the sad tragedies which

00:51:02 --> 00:51:21
			I don't know if I'd mentioned that or not so sad things any, let's just say many lady's honors was
violated as well. And this is in the city of Medina, can you imagine it's very sad and tragic
incident it is well known the troops of Hajaj. And so and if you go to Berkeley, those brothers that
have visited Berkeley,

00:51:22 --> 00:51:42
			there is a special place in Bakir for those that have been killed by wildcatter Hara is called okay.
Those of you that went with me a few years ago, I did the tour inside, but there you were there, we
did the tour inside book there. I showed you that area, if you keep on walking on the left hand
side, there is a large

00:51:43 --> 00:52:29
			world room there. It's literally larger than the size of the masjid larger than side the masjid. And
I told you this has walked out to the Shahada of how raw so there were so many dead people, because
of hedges army, that they couldn't bury them in individual graves, they just dug a hole in here, and
they just put all the bodies in there. That's how many people died in walk out on how to draw and
that is in Boca. Okay. And to give you an idea of how many children had judge had and grandchildren
and great grandchildren had an SME, sorry, yeah, sorry. And this is to give you an idea of how many
children grandchildren, great grandchildren yet, Anna said that one of my sons informed me even he

00:52:29 --> 00:52:42
			does not know. That's how many he has. One of my sons informed me that over 100 of my progeny were
killed in the wild. Claire told her when her judge entered

00:52:44 --> 00:53:04
			over 100 of his own children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren. And
that's just the people who died in our era, he still has people back in Wasilla, he still has in
Makkah and and has had plenty of sons like he has more sons than can be counted. Okay, because the
process of said

00:53:06 --> 00:53:18
			you know, family he wanted he give him coffee in his money and his children. So he said, one of my
children told me that they could count more than 100 of my

00:53:19 --> 00:53:30
			progeny that had been killed in war cartoon, and Hara. So when had judge conquered the cities, so he
was very angry at us, nomadic, very angry.

00:53:32 --> 00:54:13
			Because unece had loved bussola. And they said come to this, and of course, is a senior, so hobby.
So it gives moral support. Right, whose side you're on. Right under 70 Malik is not a he's a
heavyweight. And the fact that he's on the side of him in his debate, and the fact that so many of
his sons had fought viciously against a judge, and one of them in particular, had been killed and
had judge had made it a point to kill one of his sons. Okay. And so had judge called nsmt Malik. And
this was one of the saddest tragedies of this era of the lives of the Sahaba as well, who has had
judgment, who is Ennis and look at the age as well. And as at this at this stage of his life is

00:54:13 --> 00:54:55
			already around 80 years old, okay. And had judge is a tyrannical, you know, young man standard,
which you can imagine, and he rebukes and curses with vulgarities under symptomatic, this is a judge
in public. And he says, I wish I could do this and you are this and that and I want to adjust
threats against him and his safety. And unnecessarily Malik did not respond very harshly to this.
And he just asked Allah azza wa jal to learn how to live in LA. And he turned and he took his cane
and walked away. Some of the later people are mean some of the other people you know, they they they
tried to apologize on their behalf like I'm sorry this happened, what not? And and I said to them,

00:54:55 --> 00:55:00
			that I have no fear for myself will lie and I was very

00:55:00 --> 00:55:41
			more than willing to say something that would have silenced him forever. But I am worried for my
other children that are still alive. So I mean, at the end of the day, he's a father or grandfather,
great, great grandfather and he's like, I this is a cynical person and I've already 100 have been
killed from my family, and Allah knows what is going to do to the rest of them. And this shows us
how Allah you we should never ever criticize anyone for acting under pressure in a certain way
because sometimes it is a greater good to not be foolish. This is wisdom. Only Why should the entire
family of Anna suffer because Anna's has one word, let him be patient a lower reward unless and

00:55:41 --> 00:56:20
			Allah will deal with Hijazi to Sir it's just words that he said and humanely he humiliated us as
well. It is said that he either put a plaque on him or maybe even put a ring or something on him
woods, the narrations differ, maybe a plaque or something that said, spared by head judge means if I
just wanted to, I could have killed you. Right. So I had judges mercy to you or others that you have
been spared. Okay, so it's like you humiliation, you know, public humiliation like this. And so
unnecessarily Malik wrote a letter to the halifa Abdul Malik even more one, so very sad letter, very
sad letter. And in it there's a paragraph that Lamin up read it and the story is and it shows you

00:56:20 --> 00:56:59
			some one of the things I wish every Muslim was more aware of Islamic history, because it would
contextualize calm them down. It would save us from radicalism. It would make us understand our oma
has had amazing positives, but also sad negatives. It's nothing new. The tyrants that we see now,
had judge was similar to the modern tyrants, but worse than them, because he did it to the Sahaba.
It's nothing new. Can you imagine if one of these tyrannical kings of hard times attacked muck, what
would we do? Well, guess what had happened in the time of the Romanians, what could the Muslims do
then? And us read these things? You know, he you know, crucifies a lot of Newberry one of the

00:56:59 --> 00:57:29
			saddest stories. He literally Muslims are shocked to hear this, but he crucifies puts him on. The
crucifixion wouldn't be across it would be maybe most likely a peg or something because crucifixion
doesn't necessarily mean a cross it means to put him on a peg or something put the body of Abdullah
Abu Zubaydah in front of the Kaaba until it was rotting. One of the greatest of the Sahaba and Hajaj
does this as a as a mark and he visits the mother of a little blue Bay to make fun of her and the
mother alone is raised as

00:57:31 --> 00:58:17
			a smart bintelli. But can you imagine and she's more than 100 years old, and he just these stories
are so tragic. Now he's making fun of NSM demotic right now he's making fun of cinematic. So unece
writes a letter to America number one. And he's in that letter. He says that. And if one of the
Christians were to find a disciple who gave him a to Jesus Christ, they would honor him beyond
measure. And I serve the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam for 10 years. And your governor and
Amir has treated me in this despicable manner. And he mentioned everything like how what what type
of oma is this? So this is NSM mnemonic complaining to the halifa that if a Christian had found a

00:58:17 --> 00:58:59
			hadith of Jesus, how would they honor them? Like even the kuffaar would do it? And our own man is
doing this so well, like when you read these stories, right? Nobody could defend us because that's
Hejazi over there. Nobody could raise a finger and say anything, because that's a judge abusive, and
he was a bloodthirsty tyrant, he would kill anybody who opposed him. What are you gonna do? And he
writes to the ranking member Ron and Abdulmalik then writes a very harsh letter to head judge how
dare you have done this go and apologize to on a sub demonic and high judge then goes to us and even
in that apology is semi mocking, praising himself if I wanted to, I could have done more in this and

00:58:59 --> 00:59:45
			that any that type of you know, it's a Trump apology. Hmm. Okay, to get the point across, okay. It's
exactly a Trump apology, even in what he is saying. It's about him and himself and whatnot, praising
himself in that, but outwardly, it could be said that, okay, he visited us and did whatever, you
know, the holidays, because he doesn't want to make the Khalifa more angry, and other symptomatic.
Then after all of these fits, and we're over, he then went back to Basra because you own property
and whatnot over there. And he lived the remainder of his life in the city of Basra and he was one
of the wealthiest of the Sahaba. It is said that this is just to sing. The saying was that if unece

00:59:45 --> 01:00:00
			demonic picked up a stone, he would find a good denote underneath it. Okay, wherever and whatever he
did, there was Baraka, and one of the main sources of his Baraka was that businessmen would want
unnecessary

01:00:00 --> 01:00:03
			As a silent non investing partner

01:00:05 --> 01:00:12
			he didn't have to invest anything, but he would get a percentage. They just wanted to be a partner
with unassuming Radek. Why

01:00:13 --> 01:00:56
			the barrack of unassuming demotic. And unnecessarily Malik therefore, had plenty of wealth and
property and children. And he owned many gardens in Basra. And the books of history mentioned that
his gardens would be harvested twice every year, which is biologically not normal. As you know, you
harvest once a year, he would his gardens would give fruit twice a year, and that his gardens would
be the gardens that the people of Buffalo would lock to walk in and around because they would have
the most strong fragrance coming from them. So even the fragrance of the gardens is something that
was known to the people of basalt rock, along with this.

01:00:57 --> 01:01:32
			Other cinematic was also known for extremely long prayers. Towards the end of his life, he went
blind, but he still continued to pray so long that his feet would swell up and bleed just like the
prophets I send them and many other narrations jab at him and Abdullah others they when they would
visit us, obviously this is way back now, not when and this is 100 years old. When I was younger,
they would say no one resembles the prayer of the Prophet system more accurately than under
symptomatic honest praise exactly like the prophets with some praise because he was with him for 10
years and he prayed with him for 10 years. So unnecessarily Matic became

01:01:33 --> 01:01:44
			one of the most common narratives of headaches, and people would flock to him. And he passed away in
the year 93 of the hijra, which makes him how old

01:01:45 --> 01:02:37
			103 years old, unnecessary demonic was 103 years old when he died, and he was the last of the Sahaba
to die in Basra. And he was the last of the great Sahaba to die period. There are one or two Sahaba
whose names are not known to the majority of the room, I'll mention them someday. But essentially,
the last of the famous Sahaba today is on assembly America. Okay, 93 Ah, imagine 93 there is nobody
left by 93 Ah, there's nobody left, every one of the names you are familiar with is gone. There's
one or two of the very young Sahaba Yes, they remain after us and the last Sahabi 910 Digital. So
there are still some Sahaba after a tsunami. But these are not any of the big names. These are not

01:02:37 --> 01:03:20
			any of the famous marriages of any of the famous ones have been offered no, the last of those who
prayed towards both cables, the last of those who participated in pretty much all of the battles is
an epidemic. And it's not a coincidence, because why our Prophet says and made an explicit drop
Allah, bless him with a long life, give him plenty of wealth, bless him with many children forgive
his sins caused him to enter. This was the drama that the promises made for ns and all of these
doors came true as ns himself said that I have seen the first part of the Hadeeth come true towards
the end of his life to say this, and I'm waiting for the others. And I know that will happen as

01:03:20 --> 01:03:57
			well. What a beautiful, you know, optimism and of course he has every right to do that. And I said
nomadic past to in 93 in the Nigeria hijra in the city of bus Allah and Mohammed even serene one of
the most famous of the taboo and lead the janazah. And he was buried with the relics that he had of
the prophets of the law. It was sent him of course, he still had many relics. And he still had a
hair of the prophet SAW sent him and he told his son to put it in his mouth when he passed away. And
he was buried with that hair. And of course, it's all had injuries, but who amongst us has there the
process of anymore, that's for those times and days, and he had a walking stick of the officers and

01:03:57 --> 01:04:34
			he said put that in my shroud as well. And it is said either he had armies he wore or maybe even
Academies of the prophecies and we're not quite sure that why it seems but one of those comments
from those times he kept it as a special for me. So he was putting that commies with the walking
stick with the hair of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and unecessarily Malik. One of the
things about him is that some of his children and grandchildren great grandchildren great great
grandchildren are of the most famous narrators of Hadith. It's interesting. Like in every
generation, you actually come across what you know, for four or five generations you find somebody

01:04:34 --> 01:04:59
			who's famous in the books of Heidi, as being one of the descendants of nsmt Malik all of this is
from the drop of the barrack of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wasallam and with that, we come to the
end of the beautiful story of nscd Malik and the family of unassuming nomadic and the announcements
we do them after Asia after Asia and shall okay we're already late. So inshallah we will break and
continue next week in short, low tide of Samadhi commandments law
