So brothers and sisters, with regards to the,
Khatam Quran.
Du'a'at is authentically narrated that our prophet salallahu
alaihi wasallam
Sorry. It is narrated a weak hadith that
our prophet salallam said, every time you finish
the Quran, there is a du'a that is
going to be mustajab.
Now, the hadith might be weak. However,
our sahaba and tabi'un,
they would regularly
gather their family and friends every time they
did a khatim. So, this is the sunnah
that we're going to be implementing.
Now, there's a common mistake I wanna point
out.
When we make dua, the first few minutes
are actually praising Allah.
So when I say Alhamdulillah,
if you say
Ameen.
That's not the right thing to say.
So for the first few minutes, we're gonna
be praising Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala. When we
praise Allah, you can say,
Alhamdulillah,
or nashad, or subhanak.
You may praise Allah, Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.
And when I ask something, then you say?
Ameen.
So, I'm going to ask Allah subhanahu wa
ta'ala to make the Quran
the light of our hearts. That's gonna be
the first time you say Ameen.
Until then,
you say
or subhanak.
Now, obviously, today is the khatam Quran.
We have a big issue of short dua
or long dua.
I don't know what to do. I'm not
gonna make everybody happy.
But what I can tell you is that
if you get tired,
what can you do?
Sit down. Sit down. I'm gonna try to
make it 15, 20 minutes insha Allah. But
if you get tired, feel free to sit
down. No problem insha Allahu ta'ala.
Allah.
Allahumma
