know, I was coming to record my lecture and on the way and we we find the brother Josiah is waiting
outside the message of the close Masjid and listening to his story. So parallel with an amazing,
amazing story, and it really shows you. So I thought, I'm going to make a quick video about this, it
really shows you the smallest of good deeds that go the longest of ways. Our brother desire. He had
a roommate from the mirror, he had a colleague from the Middle East who was studying with him in the
		

			same university. And they exchanged numbers and our Muslim Brothers said that you know, if you need
anything, give me a call. Three months later, brothers, I was in a bit of a, you know, small crisis
needed to get to the airport, he calls up this brother. And he immediately says, Oh, of course, and
he takes him to the airport. And thus begins a strong friendship that just increased over time. And
our brother Josiah was just very impressed with the, the the demeanor and the generosity of
		

			his name is brother Ahmed, I haven't met the brother who went back home to the Middle East. And
brothers, I continue to ask him more about his faith. And, you know, it's been a year since brother
Ahmed returned to the Middle East, but brother desire has continued to ask around and research and
Subhanallah here he is today, he drove all the way to epic, not even knowing if anybody would be
here or not, because he wanted to embrace Islam. And it was a lot other that you know, the staff is
here, and I'm here because we're recording, you know, my lectures that we're doing, we're recording
them. And so it's a lot harder otherwise, it would have been an empty, you know, mustard, but Alo
		

			works, you know, in ways that we never understand. And here we are at Hamlet in LA. So I asked his
permission, I said, you know, it's such a beautiful, small story. It really cheers us up. And it
shows us that the smallest of good deeds, giving somebody a ride and just just doing something good.
That's it, these small things that are planted, you know, in the seeds of other people, they just
open up doors and avenues and are ready to die. He has been studying the Quran, he's been reading on
his own and asking lots of questions. And he's now decided that at hamdulillah he wants to embrace

will but I'm just making sure because we always make sure that people are you know, willingly

proceed to convert is very easy. You just repeat the the Kadima with the Shahada after me. So I'm
going to say the Arabic and you repeat and I'm gonna say the English and you repeat, and that's
really all there is to it. It's it's very straightforward. So Bismillah I shall do shallow, Allah,

Muhammad Rasulullah Rasulullah I testify I testify that there is no god except a law that there is
no god except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and that Muhammad is the Messenger
of Allah Alhamdulillah Alhamdulillah Welcome to Islam by the desire Welcome to Islam, this is all
this is going to be the best day of your life because today is the day where you begin with a clean
slate. All of your issues and sins have been forgiven, you are pure, and you are and you are cleaner
than any one of us is. So today is the day that you're beginning with the new slate you are now we
		

			are jealous of the purity that you're upon. Because none of us is as pure as you are right now you
are coming with a blank slate in front of our Lord and our Creator. And hamdulillah we thank Allah
subhanho wa Taala that he has guided you to Islam we thank Allah that you have come to our community
and we are here for you We it is a corporate crisis it's not the way it's supposed to be we wish
that you know we could do more for you we would see everyday hundreds of people coming but because
of the COVID lockdown you know it's things are a little bit different but still epic is still doing

			anything that you need, we are all your your brethren in Islam and 100. As you know, in our faith
tradition, you know, all the believers are one family. We are one large family, as Allah says in the
Quran, all of the believers in numbers meaning that all the believers they are like brethren unto
one another. So we thank Allah that He has guided you, we welcome you to our community. And if

			Would you like to tell us your brother's design? Um, I would just like to say home Go Allah Allah
definitely will this happen for me today as you said, if it was any other day, I could have shown up
to an empty mosque. So I definitely think that this day was meant to be for sure. Let me just ask
you one question for the show. What is the thing about Islam that attracted you the most just the
sense, sincere, sincere, you already have the brothers and sisters in Islam. I'm a big advocate for
helping and helping others and treating others as you would want to be treated. And also, I do
believe that Allah was Allah is the one and only God perfect perfect you you can't really get better
		

			than that to handle it. What you're attracting you to Islam is basically the belief in one God and
then the purity of helping other people out really that's all that Islam is all about. Really, these
two things summarize the entire faith is sincere to your Lord, and then help out people as you would
want to be helped out. That's basically what our Prophet so they sort of taught us also at
